Dear MAGA: Open Topic 20181202

This SPECIAL Hanukkah / Advent Sunday open thread is VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA world.

Say what you want, comment on what other people said, comment on people’s comments.  Keep it civil.  Treehouse rules, but expect lots of QAnon.

No illegalities, please.  Especially not today!

Tonight (Sunday, December 2) will be the first night of Hanukkah, and today is the first day of Advent – two somewhat analogous long winter holidays in Judaism and Christianity.

You can read more about the holidays here.

Hanukkah 2018

Been waiting all year to use this Trump Hanukkah picture!  Unlike all my other Trump memes, it doesn’t get replayed until people roll their eyes! 😉

Happy Hanukkah and Amazing Advent!

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Five Hundred Seventy Three days since I was first banned from Can’t Tolerate Heterodoxy (CTH), and not only am I not counting (mind you), but also the BannedWagon is getting more and more populated. Have no fear, though, there’s still plenty of room for people who got banned on Banhammer Central.
In other news, I do believe the tick-tocking is getting louder.

Gil

You know, several months ago we pondered about your whereabouts and were just left to think it was your internet connection. Ive got my copy of basic communism on the nightstand. Still havent had time to read it…little guy keeps me busy.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

I did have to go on internet famine monthly, but it wasn’t really a connection issue, it was an “I’ve run out of my data allowance and don’t dare breach it or it’s $15” issue (and what made it worse is that, like a Democrat election supervisor, they’d find usage after the end of the period that never showed on your status to try to bump you over the line). I don’t have a hard wired internet connection; I have to rely on mobile. I switched to another carrier that doesn’t look for excuses to charge you fifteen dollars for another gigabyte, now, so it’s less of a problem.

Nor'easter

Do you have access to Wi-Fi?
If you use Wi-Fi where available, it should not count toward your data usage.
I do not know enough about how this works, but when the bill comes…!

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

The overwhelming majority of my usage was and is at home, where the only WiFi available is through the mobile device, and therefore it counts.
In fact, because updates were pushed to my phone without my consent sometimes (once a GB worth) I had to reset my phone to “no background wireless usage” AND not let it know about the home WiFi. I nearly got kicked over the line by a phone update once before I did that. Updates now only happen over WiFi at work.

“The Truth Has No Agenda” has certainly proven to be untrue.

When reading or watching anything from the soviet media, you can ask yourself two distinct questions.
Is this about what is happening, or is this about how I should think about what’s happening?
If you consciously ask yourself those questions, what you are seeing or hearing will jump out as the answer to one of them alone.

prairie123

When you say soviet media, do you mean MSM as well? Since I am already very leery of the anything reported by the main stream… there is ALWAYS a spin… even in their reporting of certain news events (ex: the Kashoggi story. I kept asking myself WHY is this even relevant? Who even was this person? I came to realize it was a cover story to hide something else that was going on and it created a wedge between us and Saudi Arabia).
I always question what news organization is bringing up the story and I always look for the lines “sources say” or “a source close to the…” because those are immediate “tells” that the news story could be completely fake. The fake news media in this country really is the enemy of the people.

Tonawanda

When I say “soviet media” I mean exactly the “main stream media, up to and including the fluffy repressive venues like GMA.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Most people, I think, mentally reserve the word “Soviet” specifically for stuff having to do with the USSR. Also “Communist” (slightly broader, it includes China). Although our media is certainly quite similarly a mere propaganda arm for the Left, and also likely influenced by China, et. al. it’s not quite the same as those sources so I find using “Soviet” and “Communist” generally just confuses people.
I go with MSM, Yellow Stream Media, etc. It seems to result in never having to explain what I meant.

Gudthots

My preference would be any phrase including some these terms: leftist slave propaganda machine etc.

Plain Jane

Sorry if this has alreadybeen posted, but I just came across the following. Dated 12-1-18
https://www.puppetstringnews.com/blog/trumpxi-g20-meeting-leads-to-china-labling-fentanyl-as-controlled-substance
“This is a major victory for National Security announced a few hours ago at the G20 Summit, as XI has made a deal with President Trump to have China declare the very deadly opioid Fentanyl as a controlled substance. Not only is this a major victory brokered between Trump and XI, but this will quite literally be a major defeat against the Deep State…As the opioid Fentanyl is a major drug that the Deep State funds it’s operations with. Tens of thousands of Americans have died after being exposed to Fentanyl over the last few years in America, and also this is an opioid that also profits Mexican drug cartels and gangs like MS-13…So China declaring today that Fentanyl will now be a controlled substance is a major victory on multiple fronts. With this move by XI you now have to wonder if XI is part of the plan to take down the global cabal as well?”

Gil

So much comes in to CA. They had to do that. Cut off supply through mexico and at the ports.

Plain Jane

Glad they did. Now I want to see life sentences for the dealers.

NebraskaFilly

As well as the “pain” doctors who continue to write scripts willy-nilly!

Plain Jane

Yes. I went to a pain doc a few years ago. After just a few minutes he had his script pad out, and asked me what I wanted. He was genuinely surprised when I said I wanted physical therapy. No pills.
BTW, people in the waiting room were at least 30-40 years younger than me. No canes, looked stoned. Never went back to him.

NebraskaFilly

My son-in-law is going to school for his Bachelor’s in drug/alcohol counseling and will continue for his Masters. He has to write a term paper on this subject and told me the local pain doctor (who was responsible for getting my daughter/his wife hooked on fentanyl patches) is standing against the mainstream medical community on the issue. I am very hopeful he will eventually be run out of business.

Plain Jane

Hopefully that will happen. There are too many quacks out there. May God intercede in this.

Nor'easter

Welcome aboard Ms. Gil! (haven’t been able to keep up over the last couple days).
Glad to see you found your way here.
Regards to Mr. Gil.

Gil

TY!

Tonawanda

I do not mean to be contentious, but so much of the supply needs to be cut off at the arm or mouth. For some reason, that is the one indisputable factor which seems to be deliberately omitted from the daily propaganda on the “crisis.” Personal responsibility never gets discussed because it leads in an entirely different direction from the “crisis” mongering, and actually requires a very painful cost/benefit analysis.

JasonD

Fair comment, although I suspect that anyone tempted to play with drugs does not feature very highly in the personal responsibility stakes.
For my children, this problem does simply not appear on their horizon. Many others, raised under less than ideal conditions – different ball game …
But personal responsibility MUST feature – another wonderful (not) outcome of the public education system., amongst many contributing factors …

Tonawanda

My family has been directly affected. Many, many hours of family suffering. Suffering which will literally never end.
Plus, in my life I got a minute view of the problem not directly connected to my personal life.
There is a central paradox not recognized let alone discussed. The Victim is also the Monster, in law and in daily discourse.
There ought to be a fundamental and honest review of what is true and what is not true, what is effective and what is not effective.
But we are so far away from that happening I tell myself to just shut up, it is pointless to express a different pov on the issue, it can lead no where. But I cannot help myself sometimes.
The daily hysteria about the opioid crisis will save far fewer lives than a rational undertaking of the whole mess, IMO. But a rational undertaking will not happen in my life time.
Just a side pov about the “crisis”: while the daily hysteria IMO serve no good purpose, it does serve the purpose of many, many PSA’s seen daily on this “crisis” and on many others, to paint a picture of America as a Hell Hole, under siege by forces only government can fight.
IMO these PSAs are not intended to correct problems. They are intended to demoralize Americans, and to make Americans think of their country in the most negative way possible.
The fluffy puppies and kitties with the sad look in their eye are not about cats and dogs. They are about what a despicable country this is. And on and on.

JasonD

Amen

NebraskaFilly

I think we must acknowledge that this problem has been a long-time in the making. I really hate to be repetitive but, the fact remains, this is ALL part-and-parcel of the Communist Playbook, i.e., the demoralization of our country overall. This includes turning our children, via PS, into robotic little automatons who have no gumption or desire to succeed – we have taught them they are perfect and DESERVE everything they want, without also instilling the needed work ethic and sense of responsibility for themselves. This has all been a part of the “plan.” Eliminate parental rights (or parents abdicated those rights to the PS) by making the economy so bad that both parents HAVE to work in order to survive. I just can’t say this enough: THIS IS ALL A PART OF A LONG-TERM PLAN!!!

Plain Jane

Not contentious at all. True. Both facets need to be addresses, however, the drug culture is so embedded, that seems nearly as impossible as convincing the crazies not to vote for people like Occasional Cortex (h/t BFH @ iotwreport). The first hit needs to be, cut off the supply.

NebraskaFilly

IMO, that is treating the symptoms, NOT the cause. As Tona more-or-less said (IMO), until we address the REAL underlying issues, nothing will change. And, to me, the underlying problem is a lack of self-respect and belief in ones’ individual value in the world….a deep-set belief that one is “worthy.” The PS dumb everyone down to the common denominator, thereby stifling ingenuity and courage to stand up for what one believes….for that matter, even RECOGNIZING what one believes. OK, I am rambling now. Sorry.

Plain Jane

I follow and am with you. No you are not rambling.
The real basis is few people seek the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, don’t know what they are, don’t know and/or even care to ask for them.
They think they are superior to reliance on God. Things have become easy for most of Western civilization. So God is out.
There is something positive to be said for the adage about atheists and foxholes.

Tonawanda

Just my opinion: the supply will never be cut off, and the worst possible way to control it is by allowing the creation of global crime organizations more sophisticated than most countries.
Drugs have been and always will be a part of the human condition.

This bitching is pointless (not that that will slow them down). Trump was originally just going to pull out, then, to stop the squawking, agreed to negotiate a new deal. We have it now, so they’re going to squawk anyway because we gave them what they said they wanted?
Screw them and the mastodons they rode in on!

Cuppa Covfefe

Goodness: Lady Prunella von Aubergine looks like someone stuffed a pinecone up her supercilious nose…
And Macaroon looks like “well, mommy told me to do this so I get some even sparklier socks”…
And, of course, the YSM is gibbering like soon-to-be-processed Turkeys… (better yet, “Prozessierung” [swapping c for z] means sue or, eventually, prosecute – something the presstitutes may see coming their way before long)…

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Lady Prunella von Aubergine looks like someone stuffed a pinecone up her supercilious nose…

Whoa! Careful! I hope our own lovely Deplorable Aubergine doesn’t take that the wrong way. 😀
And I think you got Socks Truedope mixed up with Macaroon of France too.

Cuppa Covfefe

Yep. I didn’t mean in any way to cast aspersions upon our lovely Deplorable Aubergine – the von Aubergine moniker came from the early days of the NAFTA posts with Trudope and the sausage-casing lady of the too-tight, too-young “fashion”.
Also, sorry for confusing the cooke with the rookie. I should have said “Dudley Do-Wrong”… a couple of senior moments (no doubt, there will be more 🙂 )…

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

LOL. At first I thought you meant Merkel, then I scrolled up and saw you were referring to she-whose-boobs-must-have-nearly-popped-out-the-top.
Dudley-do-wrong would never have occurred to me because I simply CAN’T imagine that wuss in any sort of a uniform.

Cuppa Covfefe

Geesh. Told ya. COOKIE (Macaroon).
A while back, at the “other plaice”, I quoted Salvor Hardin (from Asimov’s Foundation) as having said “Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent”, not realizing what string that quote contained 🙂
Ahhh, yes. Chair-keyboard I/F problems… 🙂

MysticRose80

That’s my POTUS. One way or another, NAFTA was going to be history 😎.
For some reason, my first thought is “This could be pure poetic justice for Ross Perot”.

Chrome is a Goolag brand, as in the browser, or as in ChromeCast. So consider that the wardens (Page/Pichai/Schmidt,) the guards, and the kapos in the Goolag will all have access to your information, for marketing purposes, to share with DNC strategists, or to share with law enforcement, as they deem appropriate.
Frankly, I would be leery of posting to this site using a Goolag product, or even surfing here.
In other news, warden Pichai is scheduled to appear before the House Judiciary Committee on Weds, D5. Hmmm.

thetinfoilhatsociety

Ah. Another Warcraft widow. You have my sympathy. It’s cheaper than heroin anyway and at least it’s legal.

Full disclosure: Complete Mac/Apple bias here.
That having been put on the table….Apple engineering is amazing (but the company doesn’t make it known) and that is why you find us using machines that are 10, 12, and more years old for the sort of use you describe and indeed, much heavier use. Many hold that the early Macbook Pro is the best machine Apple ever produced. You can find them (and old iMacs) on Craigslist. $150-$300 is common and you can find them for less.
I am typing this on an early 2009 iMac 21.5 inch that I have upgraded to 12 GB of RAM, but it will take nearly twice that much. It is running El Capitan but can be upgraded to the latest OS 10. My laptop is a Macbook Pro circa 2006. They are workhorses.
My other iMac (c 2007) is dedicated to video use, including Trump rallies.
Of necessity, I have learned to upgrade memory, clean them, and make them run cooler by learning to take them apart and do small maintenance tasks. Simple stuff, easy with careful attention.
However, some folks find they are uncomfortable switching from PC to Mac.

Nor'easter

Got a good source for learning how to do that type of stuff for DIY types?

GA/FL

Here’s one source that has a step by step directions with pictorials for changing parts in Macs

GA/FL

YW! :8-)

Cuppa Covfefe

iFixit is a great site, and not just for i-Things. Another thing to consider is refurbished or open-box items, as you can often get good-as new for considerably less. In the case of computer hardware, the failure profile is somewhat of a bathtub curve, with DOAs (dead on arrival) and other failures within the first few months, and then some years with few to no issues, then the failure rate (due to age and getting knocked about, etc.) starts to rise again. Mcrosoft also has their “Surface” line of Ultrabooks (thin and light), but they have this nasty habit of coming out with something neat and pretty good, then killing it off (cf the Lumia Phones)(sniff)
Storage and memory considerations
As for disc/SSD storage, you need to consider how much you want to keep on the box. 64GB is not much, especially if you want to keep a lot of photos, vids, data (spreadsheets, tax apps, etc.) on it. A machine that will allow you to add an SSD (in particular M.2, the newest flavor of the month 🙂 ) is good, because you can add 128GB or even as much as 1 or 2 TB as needed. Without that option (i.e. what you bought is all you get), it’s better to get around 256GB and buy a portable drive for backup/ expansion (my son just got a Macbook Air with 256GB and a 4TB Sandisk drive).
Talking to (and hearing from) the outside world
The number and type of output jacks, etc., is also dependent on your needs, but USB3.0 (3.1) is important (MUCH faster than 2.0), An SD-card reader slot is important, as are some sort of video outputs (HDMI, Display port, VGA (ancient, but every monitor/beamer has it). If it’s a 15″ or larger, a LAN connection (RJ-45) [gigabit aka 1000MB] is a very good idea to have, as it’s often faster and more reliable than Wi-Fi.
Balancing Cost vs. Weight vs. Features
Processor speed, number and type of hardware features (e.g. discs), display size, are diametrically opposed to weight and also to price. Thin, fast, and sleek costs a lot more than “good personality”, a bit chunkier, but with a lot of features… Bigger displays weigh more, use more energy (= bigger battery), but can’t be done without in some cases. Matte (non-reflective) versus glare (shiny, best for multimedia) is also an important consideration. Biz laptops tend to be Matte; home laptops, glare.
Operating system options and considerations
Finally, the OS (operating system) is usually one of Mac/OS, Windows (usually 10; 7 if you can find it), Chrome [my opinion “chrome don’t get you home”], or some flavor of Linux (not for the faint of heart, though they’ve improved immensely from days of yore). Rarer still is FreeDOS, just this side of useless, sad to say (or not). Each has their own strenghts and weaknesses. MacOS is its own universe, with many admirers, and as many detractors. For media and creative types, probably the best. Windows has almost caught up in that regard, but ruined it with the perpetually-self-updating Windoze™ 10, which has lately been having more flops than props. Linux [puts on hard-hat] is best left for either experts or folks with expert friends, due to apps availability, compatibility [yes, I know OpenOffice is good, but it’s still not M$ Office] and usability.
Here are a few sites with buying advice (there’s also Computer Shopper, if it’s still around). I’ve added some spaces in the links so this (hopefully) doesn’t go off into the “sausage squisher” bin 🙂

As GA/FL with these additions:
Other World Computing (source for upgrading RAM, even beyond what Apple officially says), with great videos. These people are also wonderful on the ‘phone & chat. I ran into a problem once and they worked with me whilst I tried a million things, under their instruction, and we isolated the trouble.
They have other parts and specialty things I don’t think you can get anywhere else: upgrading hard drives, drive holders so you can use an older drive as an external drive, etc.
They sell used/refurbished macs, but mostly newer ones. Can’t recommend them enough.
https://www.owcdigital.com/ & https://www.macsalesl.com (two links, same folks).

Macs DEFINITELY have less problems with viruses and predators.
I got a crypto virus on a PC and will never go back to a PC.
On my 2010 Macbook Pro, I clean my files/cookies manually – many times a day if I’m surfing (and always before paying bills online).

Roberta

I forgot that! Thanks for noting.
I have always enjoyed pointing out with a grin, that MS machines seemed to end up in the hospital frequently, while our Apple machines NEVER went to the hospital (I know it is possible…just didn’t happen in our household in the course of decades and MANY machines [academics get new ones every 3 years and handed them down].
The older Macs will run slow if you don’t keep them clean. I keep virtually ALL photos, documents, etc. on external drives. Thumb drives dedicated to different subjects work very well for me, although I back up to an external hard drive, too.

Gudthots

The older Lenovo ThinkPads are being sold as refurbished. Nice solid (full sized chicklet) keyboard. Stable product line. A couple of years ago they were about $300 from newegg. Don’t know about now. I personally would not give my hard earned cash for a new computer when the older ones were made so much better.
Something like this is what I was recommending to friends back then…
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834850462
I’m not saying going refurbished is for everyone.
Just that my experience with this product line has been good.

Gil

Its still good to know. TY!

andrew1979

built in nightlight built into the top screen frame for keyboard visibility is a great bonus too! they had a lot of nice touches those old thinkpads. i have three kind of still going now except one is a first year lenovo label.

Deplorable Patriot

A friend just rebuilt my ThinkPad and it works like new.
Everybody else is a Mac groupie in this house, but for most of my needs the PC is the better option with spyware software run on a regular basis. I find the software upgrades on Mac to be borderline extortion when you have a ten year old machine that is worth more sold for parts because the new operating systems don’t work with the processors.
But that’s just me. Apple’s software will mine information just like Microsoft’s and Google’s. Just keep really private stuff off of them.

Cuppa Covfefe

Good points. Lenovo are also easy to add/change memory or discs, as opposed to some other brands (I’m looking at YOU, Apple), although sometime part or all of the memory is soldered in.
Sometimes Amazon has Warehouse deals which are just returns or mashed-box items. I’ve saved a lot of money that way (I/O cards, etc.)..

rayzorbak

I am using a “refurb” Dell that I bought from Newegg about 6 years ago….. works great. Just wish it had a SSD (Solid State Hard Drive). The SSD would save lots of “Bootup” time and accesses the data much faster than a SATA drive. I saved quite a bit of $$$$ buying a refurb and have had zero problems with it (so far) 🙂

andrew1979

just as an aside a chromebook isn’t like your standard pc (or mac for that matter)
you cancdo a lot but the hard drive space is usually limited and certainly the other aspect is it is a full google based operating system. lots of people like them – they are all through most schools now.
they get decent battery life and are light and what not. i guess the google os is a factor only in virtue since they already have us all by the drawstring now anyway 🙂
but just wanted you to keep that in mind. computers are tricky these days if you dont really know what you are looking for. most do not have cd drives either – easily gotten external usb – but that also strikes some as odd. thin and light!
and i know apple did it right design wise – and to me those mid to late 90’s to probably 2005 were my favorite because you could still tinker with them service them upgrade without hassle. i think the powermac g5 all metal were my favorite to look at.

Gil

I knew you all would know a lot. I dont pay bills online or facebook. Your apple suggestions are great. I will look into it. Thanks!

Elizabeth Carter

The NWO ended yesterday with a whimper and not a BOOM. No nuclear bomb went off. It just quietly disintegrated. Advent Sunday is a great time for New Beginnings.
The G20 world leaders came to Argentina to force President Trump to conform to their agenda. He would not. He stood firm and just said no.
Many of the G19 leaders found when it was time to go home, that they are no longer welcome there. Macron, May and Merkel have huge problems. The people who believed they led the world are finding that is no longer the case.
Watching it all play out will be fascinating.
The MSM is still using the old playbook and are becoming more irrelevant by the day.
World leaders don’t know how to support their countries or defend them if they can’t steal our money.
Communist countries are in major trouble.
They will all have to adjust to the new paradigm or go the way of the lamp oil companies after electricity was invented.
People all over the world are realizing that they are no longer willing to be the slaves of the globalists and they are taking their countries back.
It won’t all happen at once but it is happening and no one can stop it.
This is the Great Awakening.

A.D. Everard

“This is the Great Awakening.”
It sure is.
I’m so glad I get to witness it. Scary times, but vital. The whole world is going to end up grateful to President Trump. I’m pleased to say I’m already there.

wheatietoo

It is so wonderful to have a President who sees the whole G20 ‘forum’ for what it really is…a globalist invention that was created to promote globalism.
Founded in 1999 in the Clinton years, it is not even 20 years old yet.
But people treat it now as though it is some age-old institution that must be revered!
It’s not.
I have never liked the idea of the “G20″…or the G7…or any of the G-whatevers.
These inventions always seemed to me, to be a veiled attempt to enable other countries…with smaller economies…to gang up on the US and try to justify their predatory attitude toward us.
They treat us like it is their ‘right’ to prey on us.
If the US pulled out of these G-forums altogether, would they continue without us?
I don’t think so.
They might continue for a while, with some countries pealing off one at a time…but I think the whole thing would eventually fall apart.
And as you rightly inferred, Elizabeth, the G20 is a facilitator of the NWO that is the globalists’ ultimate goal.

Alison

Yup. All the G’s are merely cover for the dirty deeds of the globalists. Like the UN. We have ZERO reason to relinquish one iota of our sovereignty to any organization or fund the nefarious schemes they hatch. Climate change, my ass.
I thank God every day for President Trump. He is a man who is willing to “just say no”.

tomf

For a minute there I thought you were describing the UN.

Yeah, no Handel today. I think that’s next week. 😉
No today, First Sunday of Advent, is all about the Second Coming, so “Lo, He Comes In Clouds Descending” was in the mix. Yea!

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Survival tip: Never point out to an Englishman that Handel was a German. They’ve adopted him, big time. Ironically, Handel escaped from his contract with the house of Hanover by going to England…then the Hanovers ended up on the English throne! Ooopsie.

AMEN and AMEN!!!
Bill Mitchell has posted an interesting thread that makes for a great First Sunday of Advent meditation:

The Psalm 46:10 verse also holds a lesson to comfort us:
“Be Still and know that IAM GOD, I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”
Be Still – H7503 – Rapha – Completely cease, as to die.
Know – H3045 – Yada – Know intimately as in a marriage relationship.
That – H3588 – Kiy – surely/verily/certainly
IAM – H595 – AnoKiy – truly only holy sovereign
GOD – H430 – Elohiyim – GOD
Exalted – H7311 – Ruwm – rise above, rule over

PS – To Bill Mitchell, if I tweeted – I would say that ANY system or ideology that exalts itself above GOD, be it communism, Islamism, Globalism, Humanism, pansexualism, atheism, environmentalism – is operating in the Anti-Christ spirit.
Islam was invented by egomaniac Mohammed to rise above, supplant and subsume Christianity and Judaism. Mohammed incorporated Old Testament figures in his newly concocted religion. He demoted Jesus to mere prophet and made himself his newly reimagined god’s chief prophet above Jesus. He made new directives/commandments that were fairly tolerant of other religions, then contradicted them in Medina with a more violent, vile set of directives. This creates intolerable cognitive dissonance and pathology in the adherents of Islam. They claim to be peaceful but they are violent. They cannot tolerate dissent or any other religion. They hate, rape, kill, lust – all while claiming to be holy. Mohammedanism’s fruit is the opposite of the Fruit of the Holy Spirit.
We have also seen the historical and present-day evidence of the foul fruit of the other anti-Christ ideologies.

prairie123

Yes, we have indeed seen the foul fruit… the Bible says to pray constantly and to arm ourselves with God’s Word (helmet of truth, sword of the Spirit). Thank you for the reminder that we are truly in a spiritual warfare everyday in this world. Thankfully in the end, I know that Jesus and died and saved me from my sins, He rose again and now I have life in Him! Amen!

Found this on VOAT. A quick search turns up multiple stories about the weapons seized in October.
https://voat.co/v/QRV/2886817
https://news.usni.org/2018/12/01/breaking-u-s-5th-fleet-commander-found-dead-bahrain?fbclid=IwAR2z84FjmQAapL_e4nNppv9rUPtToL3ULYKxuRx9txVrjPWiyqyf3QO1rXM
Vice Adm. Scott A. Stearney, commander of U.S. 5th Fleet, was found dead in his quarters in Bahrain. The Naval Criminal Investigative Service and the Bahraini Ministry of Interior are cooperating on the investigation, but at this time no foul play is suspected.
PRIOR STORY: UN investigators check weapons seized by US Navy ship ABOARD THE USS JASON DUNHAM, Persian Gulf (AP) – The huge pile of rusting AK-47 assault rifles is tucked into a corner below the deck of the USS Jason Dunham, serving as a grim reminder of how hard it is to catch weapons smugglers believed to be trafficking arms into Yemen.
On Thursday U.N. inspectors boarded the American guided-missile destroyer, to examine the more than 2,500 guns the crew seized in late August and determine if suspicions are true that the weapons originated in Iran.
U.S. officials have long accused Iran of smuggling arms across the waters to Yemen’s Shiite Houthi rebels, who have held Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, since September 2014. But they have only managed to seize a handful of weapons caches in recent years, underscoring the difficulties in tracking down arms smugglers working the vast waters around Yemen.
“It’s one big traffic corridor,” Vice Adm. Scott Stearney, commander of U.S. 5th Fleet, told reporters Thursday. “It’s not blocked, and it’s not just lines on a map that people don’t penetrate.”
Stearney declined to say if he thought Iran was responsible for the shipment, but he said the U.N. inspectors were experts on illicit weapons from Iran, Yemen and Somalia.
The USS Jason Dunham on patrol in the region noticed large bags being transferred from a dhow about 70 miles off the coast of Yemen and into a smaller skiff. A dhow is a traditional ship that commonly sails the waters of the Persian Gulf region. The Navy ship intercepted the skiff and, after talking to the crew on board, determined they were smuggling weapons.
The rifles, in bundles of four or five, were wrapped in plastic, then wrapped in Styrofoam and hidden in green burlap bags, according to Navy Cmdr. John Hamilton, commander of the Dunham.
On Wednesday, a small number of reporters were allowed to see the assault rifles, which were stained with rust after nearly two months at sea. The weapons had been unpacked and piled up, and were ready to be inspected the following day by the U.N. team.
Hamilton said the crew on the dhow initially told them they were carrying flour and wheat, but there was none of either on board.
Navy Capt. Adan Cruz, commodore of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, said it was likely the weapons were being shipped from Somalia to Yemen, but that’s still not proven. The U.N. inspectors, he said, will determine the guns’ origin and “see first-hand the weapons flowing into the region.
The U.S. has repeatedly condemned Iran for arming the Houthis, a claim Tehran denies. Last December U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley displayed missile remnants recovered in Yemen at a military base in Maryland, saying they were “undeniable evidence” of Iran’s illicit activity. One large segment, she said, was launched at the international airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Since 2015 Saudi Arabia has led a coalition of Arab nations backing the Yemeni government against the Iran-aligned Houthi rebels. Saudi-led airstrikes have hit schools, hospitals and wedding parties and killed thousands of Yemeni civilians. The Houthis have fired long-range missiles into Saudi Arabia and targeted vessels in the Red Sea.

This will be a heart-wrenching, unforgettable Christmas and winter for many lives torn by Hurricane Michael, the California fires and now the Alaska earthquake.
For example, there are families living in Tallahassee and other cities completely displaced because the hurricane destroyed their homes, businesses, jobs.
It is so hard to be displaced. Our family was in Korea when the war started, the black-outs, bombing, evacuation in the dark of the night, leaving everything but a couple of suitcases behind. Then a fire completely destroyed our home when I was a teenager. Then a child diagnosed with a progressive degenerative disease… and there several other tragedies, divorces, financial problems, etc. that meant starting completely over, new town, home, state.

This is a modified repost from the Tremors post.
The point is for me to understand what the heck is happening in the world – what is motivating people to become Orcs, NPC’s and Deplorables.
So, the repost, in response to Zero’s visit to pay homage to the man who brings a thousand points of light …
Well, this should dispel any lingering doubts as to which side he was one.
Note again the references to points of light, and to POTUS’s reference to 1000 points of light, as well as Q (am I correct re Q referencing same?).
Not sure if you are familiar with Lucifer? Yeah that “guy”. Did you now that Lucifer means “light bringer” – literally?
Reference “The Enlightenment” – light again. The birth of humanism, which fathered communism.
This is a project of Lucifer / Satan – The Accuser. Which are big scary words to describe the Ego, that which resides in all of us.
The Enlightenment was the mainstreaming of individualism, driven by Ego. Climate “science” is a fruit of this stunted little tree. We are close to the apex of this “force” – it describes the absolute insanity that we are witnessing everywhere – and the Bush clan are patriarch’s of this movement.
We see it as insanity, they are absolutely convinced that they are the Light Bringers – It’s going to be ugly
End of re-post.
My understanding of the phenomena that are manifesting AGAIN in the world is that it is essentially people that are animated by God, vs people that are animated by Ego.
My understanding is that the Enlightenment really birthed secular humanism, under girded by the scientific revolution. There were many good reasons for this, including the corruption of organised religion, clinging to their power whilst abusing it terribly, as well as the obvious benefits of uncovering the processes which govern how things function in the material world.
Unfortunately the success of the scientific revolution has led to over confidence in our own abilities which has led to the rise of the ego manifesting, both individually and socially.
We (us Q’sters) appear to have been the beneficiaries of the ego cult with regard to how we all ended up here. The trolls “over there” hounded us for daring to question the orthodoxy, they were certain of their rightness and gleefully resorted to name calling and general “insult hurling” – classic egoic behaviour.
It takes a massive ego to change the direction of the mightiest republic ever constituted in history – yet GHWB did not hesitate. No doubt his role in the CIA helped grow that ego.
The ego is what accompanies free will – this is the story of Genesis. The snake, the tree of knowledge and the tree of life – this founding story of humanity is deeply true and wise – it describes us to a T.
Satan (meaning the accuser – ref the bible) is depicted by the snake and manifests as the human Ego. It is the ego that separates us from others – that drives us towards self imposed hell. It is the ego that insults and name calls – Accuses. Do NOT judge, lest ye be so judged – this is awesome wisdom. The attendant name for satan is lucifer – literally meaning the light bringer. This is what the NWO people actively identify with – and they see the Enlightenment as their genesis. Hence GHWB’s obsession with his 1000 points of light.
Nietze warned about this in his “death of God” treatise – he foretold the horrors of communism a couple of decades before it started. Secular humanism actively builds hell on earth – and its adherents are blind to this. It claims lofty goals, likely well intentioned. (giving them the benefit of the doubt). There are some that understand exactly what the end result is – but many avert their gaze from the ultimate result.
This appears to be a left brain hemisphere dominated phenomenon versus an integrated brain – purely on a material level. What the right brain gives you access to is where the mystery lies ….
They are CONVINCED of their own rightness and thus superiority – Just as us Deplorables are sure that the ground that we stand on is bed-rock.
So it is apt that the man who set about ushering in the NWO – a humanist project, would pass from this mortal coil at JUST the time that the corruption of this project is due to be exposed. This is being led by a man who appears to fully understand what he is standing against – ref PDJT’s reference to the 1000 points of light.
Please edify me on any or all of the above – I am grappling to understand this and all critique is welcomed.
Apologies for the length, and Wolf, please let me know if this is inappropriate for the Open Thread.

wheatietoo

I am struggling with viewing Satan, prince of darkness…as a “light bringer”.
But since he is a Deceiver, as are his followers, it would make sense for them to ‘claim’ this…or even to have possibly had a hand in establishing the word ‘lucifer’ as a translation of the name for the fallen angel.
Scholars disagree on many of the words used in the various translations of the Bible.
It has been translated from translations that were also translations.
Anyone who has learned another language from their own, has discovered the difficulty in making exact translations from one language to another.
From what I have read…the word ‘lucifer’ came in later translations.
And some biblical scholars have disagreed that it was the appropriate word to use for translating the name of Satan.
‘Enlightenment’ itself, is usually a good thing.
To be ‘enlightened’ about something usually means that you have learned a new understanding of that thing…and gained a new level of knowledge.
But deceivers will use words to their advantage.
They take benign words and use them as cloaking devices in order to forward their agenda.
I think it is telling…that satan-worshipers choose to call themselves ‘Luciferians’.
It sounds so much nicer that “devil-worshipers”, doesn’t it.
Deceivers also use the word ‘enlightenment’ for their own purposes.
Science itself is not evil…it’s just science.
Einstein believed in God, and said that engaging in scientific study enabled him to explore God’s creation.
Personally I view the physical world as God’s way of speaking to us, through what He has created.
The beauty of it is all around us.
Is it not a testament of what a loving God would gift to us?
Our Lord also gifted us with inquiring minds.
So it is hard for me to imagine that He would object to us using our inquiring minds, to study and explore His creations.
Although, I can’t help but think…that it must be amusing to Him when we declare that we have “discovered” something…when He knew it was there all along.
Heheh.

JasonD

Great reply Wheatie – you said many things that I left unsaid, or perhaps stated poorly.
I am not hammering science in the least – I am an engineer by training and disposition. The problem appears to be that “mastery” (partial, not total) of the material world, which is what science offers us, leads to arrogance, resulting in an enhanced ego.
That is why I referenced the need for balance – not cutting ourselves off from the numinous via our right brains – which appears to be how we access the unknown. The ego suppresses this vital facility.
But deceit is the only recourse left to you if you are on the wrong track and refuse to acknowledge error – so light bringer is harnessed to that end.
But definitely agree that science is NOT evil – it is a tool that we deploy to uncover the way of the world. It is HOW we deploy it that can be evil.

wheatietoo

Thanks, Jason.
There are a lot of scientists who believe in God, as you may know.
But the secularists don’t want this known.
They are the ones who would have us believe that it is an ‘either-or’ thing…that you cannot believe in science and also believe in God.

JasonD

You nailed it with “…you cannot believe in science and also believe in God” …
The secularists have resorted to that language of late, particularly with regards to climate science.
They keep telling us the “believe the science” and state that “deniers” “don’t believe” …
Science is not about belief, it is not a “thing” – it is a methodology to be followed in order to determine identifiable patterns in nature, that requires reproducibility in order to demonstrate correctness of the hypothesis in question
Yet they use religious language around scientific matters – as if science is their religion. There is a word for this – scientism.
The correct view appears to be to view science and religion as complementary – they seek to answer different questions. Simplistically stated – Science deals with “How” and religion is concerned with “Why”.

Deplorable Patriot

The secularists have resorted to that language of late, particularly with regards to climate science.
They keep telling us the “believe the science” and state that “deniers” “don’t believe” …

Father Gregor Mendel, grandfather of genetics, Augustinian monk from the Czech Republic
Father Georges Lamaitre, posited the Big Bang Theory, Jesuit priest from Belgium
Sister Mary Ann Volk, known as Sister Mary Chromosome, the most quoted person in all of genetics, Franciscan Sister of Mary and full professor of genetics at Saint Louis University Medical School
And these are just the big names. There’s many more. Science is given to us by God. It is up to the people making discoveries and doing the work to be sure it’s application does not violate God’s law.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Newton was also extremely religious.
Contra Wheatie above, Einstein really wasn’t; he’d use the word “God” in a sort of pantheistic/Spinozan way a lot.

Deplorable Patriot

The other person in modern science who is religious, a Presbyterian I believe, is the researcher who figured out how to use skin cells for stem cell replication. He actually was bothered by the use of embryonic stem cells and said if it doesn’t bother a person, then they haven’t thought about it enough.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

I went out of the way to mention Newton because IMHO he is the greatest scientist who ever lived; he accomplished a lot in many different fields. He even forced a change in the culture, in that people began to think of the universe as an orderly thing whose workings could in principle be understood by mere mortals. That thought would have been quite alien to people from the 1500s and earlier.

Emeraldstar

“Science is not about belief”
Actually, I believe (!) this isn’t true.
Science BEGINS with belief, and from there it tries to reduce the scope of that belief to its barest minimum. Science relies on mathematics, and and mathematics has fundamental “axioms” upon which it is based. “Axiom” is a fancy word for “assumption”, which in turn is a fancy word for “belief”.
Theology also BEGINS with belief, but instead of reducing the scope of belief, it tries to expand it (IMO, of course), to its most glorious maximum.
The combination of the two is the most potent path to increase understanding. Again, IMO.
But BOTH science and theology rely FIRST … on belief.

Tonawanda

It is the sign of wisdom and maturity when a person figures out that every individual had a fundamental faith, whether they know it or not.
For a long time I had complete faith in “I don’t know,” which is actually not a bad faith to have.
But with more maturity a better faith becomes available.

Emeraldstar

Hey Jason –
Just so you know, I totally agree with the substance of your post.
I was in error, by highlighting a minor point of difference that I cited, before FIRST expressing my agreement with your major points.
You provided a whole bunch of excellent, and wise, insights. I focused on a single one, and then made my post to you critical in nature, rather than also praiseworthy. In short, I omitted the positive context.
Sorry about that!
Emeraldstar

JasonD

Hey Emeraldstar – I am working my way through reading and replying to all the great comments I received. I scanned all the comments first, and am responding in detail now – this one got to me first, so I’ll reply here.
I did not get a critical “vibe” from your response at all, and of course your comment was absolutely correct. Axioms necessarily under-gird the foundations of science – mathematics and logic (deductive and inductive)
Interestingly, useful axioms are ultimately based on the laws of the universe – so you cannot arbitrarily pluck an axiom out of “thin air” and say I believe in this axiom and it is all good from there.
So axioms are tested by evidence and results as well.
I came to believe in God because the evidence became undeniable – so my new found faith is also evidence based.
As it must be, since any belief must comport with reality in order to be valid and useful. This is how we proceed to convert people from one belief system to another, by providing evidence.
So, having said all that and re-reading the post that you were critiquing, I am now arguing with my prior self as well – LOL
So it seems to me that we have to split the difference and state that both science and religion necessarily have to proceed from both evidence AND belief, but that they operate in different realms. I actually like the terms rational and irrational as applied to numbers. Rational numbers are bounded, whereas irrational numbers are not – they progress infinitely – yet they are “real”. Science may deal more with the rational and religion with the irrational – the bounded as opposed to the infinite (just testing this notion).

“Personally I view the physical world as God’s way of speaking to us, through what He has created. The beauty of it is all around us.” Beauty, and delight, especially humorous delight.
Pi, Fibonacci numbers, the golden mean – – come on, you gotta be kidding me. How great is all of that non-random stuff?
To me each living thing (and a lot of the non-living things) carry a specific message from God.
I know it sounds absurd, but the unconditional love shown by dogs (unless you are gone too long) is a discrete message. Bees are a proverbial message we all recognize. Each flower carries its own message, and some flowers and plants carry distinctly Christian messages.
I will use this opportunity as an excuse to post my favorite Christmas song. I am not a big fan of poetry. Most of it is really bad. Maybe 1% is good. The poetry in this song is sublime (similar to the poetry from also long ago, The Dream of The Rood, a poem where Christ’s Cross talks of Christ’s heroism):

God’s creation also reflects the great mystery of suffering, something impossible for us to understand, but also connected with the love of God.
In The Holly and the Ivy we have the refrain describing a beautiful and joyful Christmas morning, and the gentle lyrics reminding us of the Suffering to come.

Great post Tona – loved that song, had not heard it before.
This post clarifies why all your posts are so very good! You have a great view of life, and the mystery and wonder of Creation.
I have struggled with understanding suffering – it seems to be the one of the bigger questions.
I have come very late to acceptance of God, so all this is quite new to me. I am purposefully choosing more secular language, because that is how I came to be converted – through adopting a broad understanding of secular meanings. Also, a couple of posters here have expressed discomfort with too much religious discussion.
The problem appears to be that religion is unavoidable – it goes to what motivates our actions in the world. Hence my first post in this thread – seeking to understanding what motivates the globalists.
I have developed some thoughts on suffering, because it stands as a tremendous hurdle in the way of many people considering accepting God. This is probably not the place to have that discussion.

Linguistic note (I told you I was good for random unrelated stuff), re: The English accent of the singers (or the Colorado accent of me). The o in holly here in CO is pronounced, basically like “ah” but with the lips rounded, by contrast, coming out of the singers’ mouths and into my ear, it’s closer to being “holy” than “holly.” That “aw” sound seems to have gone just over my mental line to being more like “oh” in England; even words like “fall” sound more like “foal.”
I’ve gone to various places that will show you International Phonetic Alphabet symbols and play someone pronouncing them. The sound in question here is rendered by an open-O symbol: ɔ (also sometimes called backwards C), and some sites make it sound just a bit more like a deep O than A…and others don’t, depending on who did the recording. Only a slight lowering or raising of the tongue makes a huge difference!

Tonawanda

Interesting! Keep the random facts coming!

Beautiful Christmas song, Tona. TY.
All the science discussion above reminds me of what DH says. God is the author of physics.

Covadonga

‘Lucifer’ was originally a way of referring to Jesus.
Later, the term shifted to refer to Satan, because of the association of Satan with fire.
On the Einstein believing in God thing, I wouldn’t count on it. Many physicists of his generation were not very religious, to say the least, and many were atheists.
I know he has been quoted accurately saying things like “God doesn’t play dice” (in criticizing the element of randomness in the quantum theory of his fellow physicists.). But the way that has been explained to me is that in his native German there are many figures of speech left over from the religious past in which God this or God that is mentioned out of habit.
So someone who is agnostic or an atheist, for example, might say the equivalent of “God bless you” if he heard someone sneeze, just because that is established as the polite thing to say..
Or if, say, someone posted something here like:
“Maybe Mr. Trump can rally our forces in special congressional elections next year, and we can retake the House in 2020, knock wood”
then we, as a contrary example, would not be justified in concluding anything about the commenter’s religious views (the phrase “knock wood” coming from pre-Christian beliefs in invisible spirits that were said to live in trees.)

JasonD

I’ll poach a reply here …
The question on Einstein has been batted around a bit. My understanding is that he was at best a deist – an acknowledgement of a first mover God that remained hands off.
This article pushes that view
https://www.realclearscience.com/articles/2018/11/23/what_einstein_meant_by_god_does_not_play_dice_110809.html

Covadonga

Yeah, I didn’t go out on a limb and claim what E.’s religious views actually were.
I’m not sure of the state of the debate on that.
But when people argue that he believed in God, or even that, as an adult, he had a traditional Judeo-Christian conception of God, the most common data point cited by them is the no dice comment. And I consider that particular line of argument to be shot down. The late Dr. Petr Beckmann, who spoke German and Russian as well as English and his native Czech, argued most fully that in that part of the world there are many figures of speech that have the outward form of religious statement, while conveying no such implication to a fluent speaker.

‘Lucifer’ was originally a way of referring to Jesus. Later, the term shifted to refer to Satan, because of the association of Satan with fire.

With all due respect, in all my many decades of studying the Scriptures, Biblical history and church tradition I have never seen this to be true. Could you please share your references for making these assertions?
Scripturally, you could find grounds to refute them in the Letter to the Hebrews which should provide a good representation of the foundations of our tradition.
All elements are associated with the Creator, not the created. Specifically for this discussion, “For our God is a consuming fire.” (Hebrews 12:29)
But taking a position closer to yours, it is true that the fallen angels are associated with the lake of fire, described by Jesus as their place of eternal torment, and that this specific fallen angel, while truly NOT an angel of God’s light, does try to appear to be one.”And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.” (2 Corinthians 11:14)
For a deeper look, see the beginning passages of the Letter to the Hebrews…

1 In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. 3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. 4 So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.5 For to which of the angels did God ever say,
“You are my Son;
today I have become your Father”?
Or again,
“I will be his Father,
and he will be my Son”[b]?
6 And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says,
“Let all God’s angels worship him.”
7 In speaking of the angels he says,
“He makes his angels spirits,
and his servants flames of fire.”
8 But about the Son he says,
“Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever;
a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.
9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions
by anointing you with the oil of joy.”
10 He also says,
“In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.
11 They will perish, but you remain;
they will all wear out like a garment.
12 You will roll them up like a robe;
like a garment they will be changed.
But you remain the same,
and your years will never end.”
13 To which of the angels did God ever say,
“Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies
a footstool for your feet”?
14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

Hi TTT, thank you for this rebuttal and references – especially 2 Cor 11:14
That clarifies my conceptualisation of Lucifer.

Wendy Alec wrote a “fiction” book that is stunning in it’s written imagery entitled, “The Fall of Lucifer.” Reading it was like having an old black and white movie remade in technicolor in terms of the beginnings of Creation and the beautiful heart of Christ in it all. Extra-biblical but not anti-bliblical. I highly recommend it and not just for the amazing word-smith skill of the author. If you are willing, it can build your love for God and enjoyment of His goodness.

OUTSTANDING post. My only quibble is that VSGPDJT I don’t believe is driven by ego or even arrogance. It’s something I see in the guys I know from a specific background: confidence laced with a personal humility. He seems to bring out the best in those he champions, and the worst in those he thwarts.
Yes, Satan, the father of lies, works in ways that sound great on the surface to human ears, but don’t pass the sniff test when put against God’s law with scrutiny. And, in the last 500 years, humans have put a serious dent in God’s domain simply by allowing themselves to be effected by the man-made scandals, and self. And what is not taught is that there were dry runs for the revolt for over 120 years before the big one happened, and it stems from the 13th century theological renewal, believe it or not.
I don’t like to get into theological discussions on political boards because most of us are on different pages, as it were, with what we’ve been taught, read, and which version of Scripture is used. We’re just not all in sync, and discussing WHY the Enlightenment is not part of my Faith and being, even if it heavily influenced the founders of this nation, will be an affront to those steeped in its mystique even as I would have to correct the concept of Catholics worshiping Mary (we don’t), and the other misconception about repetitive prayer among various topics that are scoffed at without understanding the source.
That’s simply where we are. The New World Order may pass into history, but it’s doubtful. I suspect it will be repackaged and surface again once the current generation can no longer challenge it.

JasonD

Thanks for your thoughtful response. Much appreciated. I’m not getting much push back, so seem to be on the right track with this.
As to your quibble – I may have not been clear enough (I re-read it and saw that it was ambiguous).
I was trying to say that PDJT understands what he is facing because he has made a few public remarks with regard to the GHWB and the 1000 points of light – signalling his awareness of this recurring concept.
I am definitely NOT accusing him of being ego dominated – although that is an accusation that is often hurled at him. Seeing him in action at rallies and during personal contact times, you are quickly disavowed of that notion. He does sometimes project that on the surface – which serves to camouflage his true nature. This is why his enemies keep getting him wrong – he is head faking them as to his true capabilities.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

I am definitely NOT accusing him of being ego dominated – although that is an accusation that is often hurled at him.

The second half of that statement is a strong contender for Understatement of the Year award.

JasonD, I read your comment early this morning and you have been on my mind. President Trump’s uncle John G. Trump received Nikola Tesla’s papers after he died.
I love science and spent a lot of time studying it, including Einstein’s writings at some length, Ouspensky, Gurdjieff and many others. I was working in Encino, CA at the time I was studying Ouspensky. Mr. Nugent was a friend of my boss. He had worked on the original atomic bomb and knew math that was far beyond my understanding. Many times he would talk to me for an hour or more. That was in 1971 or so and he was 73 at the time. I would ask him questions about the things I was reading and he would explain them to me. If my “lights did not come on”, he would explain it in a different way until I had that “Ah Ha” moment. He was in my life for a few years at that time. I have found that when I need guidance, God sends me the perfect guide for me. My boss owned the company and he never minded that I talked with Mr. Nugent. Of course I had to do my work and stay over to get it done, but there that was a small price to pay for the education I was getting.
I found that most of the things I studied just went so far and fell apart. I am a practical woman and if I can’t find a good use for information or have to read a 1,000 pages to get one sentence of real truth, I no longer waste my time on it. I have gotten very good over the years in being able to discern what has merit and what is just a mental journey to nowhere.
When I was young, I read a lot of science fiction. I liked it because it expanded my thinking. We did not have movies or TV shows until my teenage years and they had Flash Gordon type special effects. My imagination was very well developed by reading and I had excellent special effects in my mind. The first time I saw special effects that surpassed my imagination was Star Wars in 1977.
I was a Christian from the time I was 11. The churches were in a process of removing the miracles in the Bible and substituting Science. I took to Science and left the “old ways” behind. It was an interesting journey. I was not sure I believed in God much anymore and yet he walked with me and guided me even in the years that I could not even pray. Then in December 1991, my life came apart. I drove 13 hours in the pouring rain and I was crying my own rivers of tears. At the halfway point, I prayed and asked God if I should go on or go back. His answer was to go on. During the last half of that trip, I promised that I would read the Bible and not question Him anymore. I would assume that what He said was true and if I did not understand it, then I would assume it was because I had not developed sufficient understanding yet. I promised I would go through whatever He put me through, keep my head down and know that He was doing it all for my own good. I had no idea how hard it would be. I was 49 then. I can tell you that as much as it hurt, as hard and humiliating as it was, it is worth it in the long run. During that process, He also gave me amazing successes. Then He would strip me back down to the bare bones and teach me more. He does that so that you can see how far He has brought you and what would have destroyed you before has made you stronger.
1 Timothy 6:19-21 King James Version (KJV)
19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.
That was a long preamble to tell you what I learned. Do not waste your time on Einstein etal. The only scientist worth studying in these times is Nikola Tesla. Tesla was a practical man and had a very low opinion of Einstein. He believed in God, his papers were presented to President Trump’s uncle John G. Trump when Tesla died. President Trump was raised on them. Tesla lit the 1893 World’s Fair in Columbia. He has over 200 patents. He made the 20th century possible. You have the engineering background and the belief in God to use his information. I posit that studying Nikola Tesla will be the best use of your time. There is so much to be done and so little time to waste. I believe that God has a purpose and a plan for our lives. I think you have a great future because of what you have been through, your education and the questions you have the courage to ask.
Please spend some time studying Tesla. This is a place to start.
https://www.activistpost.com/2012/01/10-inventions-of-nikola-tesla-that.html
God is the ultimate Scientist. God creates living, breathing people in a living world. God cannot be duplicated. Lucifer can only give a poor imitation of real creation and that is what makes him so angry. All Satan can do is confuse, deceive and destroy.
I will pray that God blesses you on your journey and I look forward to seeing your work come to fruition soon.,

NebraskaFilly

So glad to see the reference to Tesla. I have a close friend with whom I have some REALLY fascinating conversations. We do not talk politics – he is a Bernie-supporter, a Mason and supports a globalist view, having lived overseas and being originally from So. Cal. He has also studied the major religions of the world. He is the most intelligent man I have ever known and, surprisingly, there is much on which we do agree. He has frequently railed about the fact that electric power should be completely free to all based on Tesla’s research. I know next to nothing about the subject but it sure sounded interesting.

Elizabeth Carter

There are some excellent videos on youtube about Tesla. I think you would really enjoy them.

prairie123

Thank you for this. I want to learn more about Tesla now… I never really heard of him until my adult years. He sounds very interesting!

Elizabeth Carter

His inventions have given us the world we take for granted now. Watch the videos on you tube. He was ahead of his time. Look up his quotes and they will tell you a lot about the man. He believed in God. If a scientist does not believe in God, he can’t be very intelligent.

When I was young, I read a lot of science fiction. I liked it because it expanded my thinking. My imagination was very well developed by reading and I had excellent special effects in my mind. The first time I saw special effects that surpassed my imagination was Star Wars in 1977.

I know many people who describe themselves floating out of the theater when they went to see Star Wars for the first time. Someone finally got it dramatically correct. (The only close call came with the space scenes in 2001 (not the acid trip at the end); but those were not nearly as dramatic because of pacing and the fact that they accurately depicted no sound in space.) Star Wars was able to do a lot more with less money because computing was finally coming into its own then.
Star Trek (the original series) was hampered by a very limited budget but managed to do an astounding amount for so little. Much more recently, it got remastered and released on BluRay. You can watch it with original effects (film cleaned up but that’s it), or with the new effects. But the people doing the new effects didn’t overdo the improvements, they still aren’t as flashy as something today would be (my one gripe is the Enterprise is much too dark a shade of gray). They were trying for “here’s what they would have done back then–if they could have.” And indeed the special effects guy from the original series said, “Yes, this is what I wished I could have done, but I just didn’t have the budget.”

Elizabeth Carter

Steve, I went to see 2001 in 1968 in LA in Cinerama. I was enthralled. I saw it 5 times before I gave up on trying to figure it out because I didn’t want the book to destroy my experience with the movie. I read the book and it was good but there was something in the experience of the movie that expanded my mind. I remember when the hostess was walking down the isle to serve passengers and suddenly the scene changed and she was walking upside down but it was all just a matter of perspective. I could actually feel an expansion in my mind. It was very strange. I always had an awareness of perspective after that scene that I had never had before. When I think about something, I consider my perspective and try looking at it from other perspectives also. It is a useful tool.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

The book does help the movie make some sense. But clearly, they’re very different experiences.
I read (and enjoyed) 2010 but was infuriated with the movie, since the producer and scriptwriter couldn’t resist turning it into a not-too-subtle commentary on Reagan’s Central America policy. Which is a damned shame because other parts were quite powerful.

Plain Jane

Absolutely love that movie.

JasonD

Thank you Elizabeth. I truly appreciate your deeply considered reply.
I will be looking into Tesla. God actually invited me through the door by means of my interest in energy related technologies. It was through the process of invention and inspiration that I realised what was happening to me.
I was initially simply bemused and befuddled as to HOW these inspirations could be possible that LED me to faith in God – I could find no other explanation that held up to any scrutiny.

Elizabeth Carter

Exactly. God Bless you on your journey. It is not easy but it is worth every step of the way.

andrew1979

the give away on tesla for me when i was a kid was this: he was fiught, disparared and character assasinated in such a non-stop way only to die basically disrespected and penniless. that is how i absolutely KNEW tesla was on to many things – “they” could not allow it.
there are a couple things he didnt get exactly “right” but those are minor and he would have figured them out eventually.

Gudthots

I have listened to a lecture by a doctor that treats EHS where she reviews the symptoms Tesla exhibited and compared them to modern sufferers of electro-hypersensitivity (EHS). All frequencies of radiation can induce radiation sickness if the dose is high enough.

PeteC

Jason—
The fall of Lucifer (Satan, the serpent, the devil) is “typified” in the OT at Isaiah 14:12-15 and Ezekiel 28:12-19. We are told he was created by God (with free-will) as the anointed cherub who covers (guards), perfect in his ways until iniquity was found in him (his ego took control and he aspired to usurp his Creator, God).
Lucifer is from the Hebrew word “Heylel”, meaning “daystar, the morning star, star of the morning”— and refers to the planet Venus.
IMHO, man’s “ego” is the greatest evidence of his fallen nature— or “sin-nature” if you will. This is the “I will” of our nature— and notice the same with Lucifer in Isa. 14:13-14. Our “ego” separates us from God (in simple terms). We inherit this nature through Adam— the seed (semen) of man transmits this fallen nature to all human offspring.
Jesus Christ became the perfect sacrifice for our sins because the Holy Spirit of God (not man) brought conception into Mary; therefore, He did not inherit man’s sin-nature. I write this in simplistic terms so as to not get too theological and dogmatic in explanations.

Elizabeth Carter

Pete C, I agree.
When we criticize God, we are judging God and that creates a barrier between us so that we cannot see, hear or accept His guidance.
.
Satan appeals to the earthy nature of man caught in time. Satan questions God, creates doubt in our minds and tells us we can be equal to or even above God.
When we repent, Jesus Christ gives us a new heart and a new mind, He gives us the ability to see from God’s perspective and to realize that our judgement is totally subjective and we are caught in a very narrow moment of time without His Salvation.
I can usually tell by how a person speaks of God whether they have received the Holy Spirit.
There is a GOD and we are not Him. When we accept that fact, we begin to realize that we are not able to deal with the unknown and we learn to ask God what to do because He knows the End from the Beginning. His guidance is perfect. He created us and loves us and always has our best interest in His plans for us.
When Satan tempted Jesus and offered Him the whole world, protection and provision Jesus knew that there was nothing Satan could offer that He did not already have and more. As we walk closer with God in our lives, we also see that Satan has nothing to offer us but empty words and empty promises.
John 17:1-4 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
17 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: 2 as thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. 4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

PeteC

Well spoken Elizabeth!!! Amen!

JasonD

Thanks Pete, especially for those references – my biblical knowledge is in its infancy.
Your description tracks very well with my understanding.

rayzorbak

Just a small point not many understand……
Matthew 7:1 “Do not judge so that you will not be judged. 2 For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you.
Many just say we are not to judge period. That, is NOT scriptural.
Just sayin’

PeteC

So true Razorbak!
Otherwise we would not differentiate between good and evil, between light and darkness! We have the Word of God to illuminate our path in choosing between right and wrong (which is a judgment)!
Jesus said— “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. …Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. …Therefore by their fruits you will know them.” (cf. Matt. 7:15-20 — NKJV). This assessment on our part obviously requires a judgment according to the external actions of others which reflects their inner heart.

Elizabeth Carter

Scripture tells us that we must discern good from evil and to know them by their fruits. What I understand about judging is that we do not have the right to decide if someone will go to heaven or hell. That is the final judgement and is not ours to make. I have seen many people that seemed bound for hell, find Jesus Christ and be totally changed.
It you can’t tell right from wrong you are considered mentally incapable of things like sitting on a jury.
If you call good evil and evil good you are condemned by Scripture.
When Jesus says you will be judged by the standard you judge others by, I have found in so many cases that people who have judged others harshly without understanding have had to go through things that put them in the same situation as the people they had judged. My brother died of lung cancer and he told me before he died that he had always laughed at old men with their oxygen tanks and now he was one. He died not long after he told me that. In the process of having his whole life turned totally upside down and understanding that he was not in total control of his life, he became a Christian and asked me to forgive him for giving me such a hard time for believing in God. I told him I loved him and forgave him and was so pleased that he had found God. I always knew he was angry with God and not really with me so there was really nothing to forgive. God took him home and I am so grateful for that.
Romans 2:1-4
2 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. 2 Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. 3 So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? 4 Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?
2 Corinthians 6:17 17Therefore, “Come out from them and be separate, says the LORD. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”
Ephesians 5:8-12 8For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the LORD. Live as children of light 9(for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10and find out what pleases the LORD. 11Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.
Galatians 5:17-23 New International Version (NIV)
17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever[a] you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

PeteC

I second the Wolf, Elizabeth!!!

Transcript of remarks before PDJT and Merkel met:
https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/remarks-president-trump-chancellor-merkel-germany-bilateral-meeting/
‘PRESIDENT TRUMP: Well, thank you very much everybody. It’s a great honor to be with Chancellor Merkel, who is my friend. We have a great relationship and a great working relationship, I think very important. And we are talking trade. We’re talking defense. We’re talking about many things.
‘We have a tremendous trade imbalance, but we’re going to get that straightened out. It’ll be better and better, I think, as time goes by. Our military relationship is very good. I think we all understand each other.
‘And it’s an honor to be with the Chancellor. She’s done an incredible job. Highly respected by everybody, including me. So I just want to say it’s a great honor, Angela. Thank you very much.
‘CHANCELLOR MERKEL: You’re welcome.
‘(As interpreted.) Well, let me say I’m very glad we have the opportunity for this bilateral meeting. We shall address issues related to trade, multilateral issues, and also fair trade and the World Trade Organization. We will also talk about bilateral relations, Ukraine, Syria, and the violations of the INF treaty by Russia.
‘So there’s quite a lot to do, quite a lot on our plate for this relatively short time.’
Both spoke about Poppy Bush. PDJT said he had already spoken with Shrub and Jeb!:
‘CHANCELLOR MERKEL: Yes. I was in (inaudible), in the White House, visiting George Bush. And he’s the father, or one of the fathers, of the German unification, and we will never forget that.
‘THE PRESIDENT: I found that very interesting.
‘So we extended our best wishes. And he was — he was a very fine man. I met him on numerous occasions. He was just a high-quality man who truly loved his family. One thing that came through loud and clear, he was very proud of his family and very much loved his family. So he was a terrific guy and he’ll be missed. And he led a full life, and a very exemplary life too, I will say.
‘And we’ve decided — as you know, we were going to have a big press conference today, which I actually looked forward to because we’ve made tremendous progress at the G20 with many nations. And we were going to have a very big press conference, and out of respect for President Bush, we’ve cancelled it here and we’ll have it back in Washington at some time in the near future. Sometime after the funeral service. Okay?
‘Q Do you regret any of your comments about Bush or his family in the past?
‘THE PRESIDENT: Thank you very much, everybody. Thank you.’

wheatietoo

Thanks, Churchmouse.
Merkel just had to bring up the WTO, didn’t she.
Yeah, good luck with trying to use the WTO to force our President to submit to your idea of what “free trade” means.
And that question that was fired at PDJT about “regretting his comments” is an example of what that press conference would’ve turned into.
Pres Trump made the right call in cancelling that thing.
It would’ve been an ambush.

churchmouse

Totally agree, wheatie. It would have run in the media until Christmas.
Merkel and her priorities. Ugh.

Tonawanda

With her response, Merkel showed she was equal to Benji in lack of graciousness and good will.

Sylvia Avery

That was my first reaction, as well, to that stupid question at the end. How tasteless and rude. Good call, Mr. President.
As for Merkel…spit.

Cuppa Covfefe

Yep. She’s a shovel-ready Marxist.
The (Berlin) Wall fell in the wrong direction. We expected the East to become more like the West; instead, the West has become DDR 2.0. The East, only worse.
The thing is, irony of ironies, is that the “Ossies” (former East Germany) DON’T want it that way. And most of us in the West don’t want it that way either.
That’s why the former Eastern European countries are so against globalism and its Marxist Anti-Christian underpinnings. Having endured decades of totalitarian subservience and control (dare I say “governance”), they know a trap when they see it. Just as former cult members can sniff out a fraud or a deceptive group, so the folks from the East can see what Merde-kel and her ilk are doing.
The elections next year in the former East-German states will be interesting, to say the least. The folks here in Germany are “woke”, but, like everything else that is worthwhile, it takes time and effort, and prayer…

Sarah Sanders issued a statement about PDJT and Xi’s meeting:
https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/statement-press-secretary-regarding-presidents-working-dinner-china/
‘Very importantly, President Xi, in a wonderful humanitarian gesture, has agreed to designate Fentanyl as a Controlled Substance, meaning that people selling Fentanyl to the United States will be subject to China’s maximum penalty under the law.
‘On Trade, President Trump has agreed that on January 1, 2019, he will leave the tariffs on $200 billion worth of product at the 10% rate, and not raise it to 25% at this time. China will agree to purchase a not yet agreed upon, but very substantial, amount of agricultural, energy, industrial, and other product from the United States to reduce the trade imbalance between our two countries. China has agreed to start purchasing agricultural product from our farmers immediately.
‘President Trump and President Xi have agreed to immediately begin negotiations on structural changes with respect to forced technology transfer, intellectual property protection, non-tariff barriers, cyber intrusions and cyber theft, services and agriculture. Both parties agree that they will endeavor to have this transaction completed within the next 90 days. If at the end of this period of time, the parties are unable to reach an agreement, the 10% tariffs will be raised to 25%.
‘It was also agreed that great progress has been made with respect to North Korea and that President Trump, together with President Xi, will strive, along with Chairman Kim Jong Un, to see a nuclear free Korean Peninsula. President Trump expressed his friendship and respect for Chairman Kim.
‘President Xi also stated that he is open to approving the previously unapproved Qualcomm-NXP deal should it again be presented to him.’

The Trump-Xi dinner lasted two and a half hours. SD has a post up saying that Larry Kudlow said it ‘went very well’:

‘… Mrs. Trump attended the spousal program at MALBA – the Buenos Aires Museum of Latin American Art. The Museum houses a collection of 400 pieces. The First Lady joined the other partners for a presentation by the First Lady of Argentina who spoke on the importance on Argentina’s National Plan on Early Childhood. Mrs. Trump signed a chair designed by a local artist at the end of the presentation, showing support for Argentina’s early childhood programs. Following the presentation, Mrs. Trump attended a partner’s lunch before departing.
‘“Thank you to the First Lady of Argentina for hosting a wonderful weekend of events and a chance for many of us to come together in appreciation of Argentina’s history and culture,” said First Lady Melania Trump. “I very much enjoyed visiting the historic Villa Ocampo as well as meeting with some of Argentina’s most prominent artists. Thank you to Mrs. Awada, for sharing more about your platform – early childhood. Thank you to both President Macri and Ms. Awada for the wonderful hospitality.”’

SD has a post up about the raid on whistleblower Dennis Nathan Cain’s home.
His sister-in-law, Gracie West, made a video discussing the raid.
I almost skipped watching it, because all SD wrote was that Ms West said the FBI agents did not know Cain had protected whistleblower status.
This video is a must-see. Everyone here will like it.
She says that her sister — Mrs Cain — rang her at 3 a.m. to say that the FBI was raiding the house. So, the FBI did a Manafort call: middle of the night with 16 agents who rummaged through everything — even though Cain handed over a copy of the document(s) they were looking for. They stayed there for SIX hours!
But there’s more. Gracie West is part of the #WalkAway movement and Nate — he doesn’t go by Dennis — was her ‘personal bodyguard’ at the #WalkAway event in Washington DC at the end of October. She shows a brief video of them together at the event.
Gracie West also makes videos about leftist thought and feminism under the pseud Embarrassing Mom. The videos look really good, but I have not had time to dip into them yet. Here’s the link:

Bottom line: she asks for everyone’s prayers for Nate, her sister and their family. She seems like a really nice person — and an ex-Dem!

Sylvia Avery

Thanks for finding and posting the video. It made me think. If I had 16 agents in my house for 6 hours….Wow. That’s enough time and manpower to to pull up my carpet, rip up my floorboards, pull the stuffing out of all my furniture, pull every book off every shelf and ruffle through them, every drawer, every seam in every article of clothing in my closets, you name it. That is a lot of manpower and a lot of time. WOW.
And how harrowing that would be. My dog would be freaking out. I’d have to kennel her or be worried that she’d bite someone which would probably get her euthanized and possibly me euthanized. I’d be so stressed out. And for six hours? You could hardly say, well excuse me Mr. J Edgar Hoover but I really need you to move your behind out of my kitchen so I can scramble some eggs or make a sandwich because you are ruining my meal time here….
What a damned nightmare. I hope after this is all said and done the FBI and the DOJ are reigned in. I am a little frightened to have discovered that I woke up this year and discovered my country has transformed (as promised by BO) into East Germany circa the Cold War.
It is not that I have anything to hide. I’m not running a criminal enterprise or something. But when you realize that the DOJ/FBI can do this to people far wealthier and better connected than I, it is quite obvious there would be no protection for the little guy if the gimlet eye of the law lands on him.

churchmouse

Excellent comment. You said it all, Sylvia. I had a perfect mental picture — and was getting anxious — reading it.
That sort of thing could cause someone to suffer a seizure or a heart attack, too. Obviously, they do not care.
The aftermath must be just as bad. Obviously, they are not going to put everything back nicely, are they? So, the homeowner must tidy up the ENTIRE house! Then imagine the nerves every time the phone or the doorbell rings. This is unimaginably awful.
Remember when we were growing up and at home as well as in school we were always taught that the United States Constitution protected Americans from abuses by the authorities. We were told that Americans would not undergo what people behind the then-Iron Curtain suffered, because the US system of government was vastly different.
Fast-forward to the present day: who could have imagined this?
‘But when you realize that the DOJ/FBI can do this to people far wealthier and better connected than I, it is quite obvious there would be no protection for the little guy if the gimlet eye of the law lands on him.’ It is scary to contemplate. It really is.

Sylvia Avery

I know, right? I was getting stressed out just thinking about what that would be like, and AT 3:00 AM once again as if they were drug dealers or something.
And I do remember learning as a kid in school that this would never happen here because we were protected by the Constitution. But we are truly, now, living in a post-Constitutional America. And I can still scarcely believe it no matter how many examples of it we have seen over the last ten years or so.

churchmouse

‘But we are truly, now, living in a post-Constitutional America.’ Yes! IKR?
Someone Over There said that they conduct these middle-of-the-night raids because people are guaranteed to be at home — asleep.

Sylvia Avery

It is purely an intimidation tactic. I totally understand the use of tactics like this where it is a drug house and you don’t want them flushing the evidence, or an illegal gun dealer and you want them asleep for everyone’s safety, or even Tony Soprano or something. But this guy was a whistleblower, supposedly protected, so at the very worst it is a white collar crime. There is no need for this kind of thing. It’s just bullying.

churchmouse

Terrorising, more like.
Agree on the intimidation factor, and, yes, this is the sort of raid done on violent, dangerous, degenerate criminals — not protected whistleblowers or consultants like Paul Manafort.
The FIB seems to have a ‘one size fits all’ policy. Terrible. Wray should really look into that.

I agree Sylvia, we have been in a post constitution country I believe since the 60’s. the hippies donned suits and began the long march through our institution’s all to create there version of the age of Aquarius. The reality is the nightmare we are now living through. The biggest thing I have learned these past years of reading about these evil people is how much they really hate all of us. They cant just outright kill all of us so they do it by poisoning our food, our water, showering chemicals on us from the sky, putting poison in vaccines and forcing us to take them. I shudder to think of the future if we cant stomp this evil out to the roots.

Alison

I love it when President Trump wears a black suit with that black & white striped tie. So sophisticated.
And I am amazed that he, unlike so many men his age including my husband, doesn’t have to wear hearing aids. There are times he cups an ear, but we all would in those situations like near the chopper.

wheatietoo

I love it. Very cool.
It’s interesting the way that he put that.
He’s saying that we are “within 10 years of having” a space station in orbit around the Moon, with landers to go back and forth with.
Also said…that NASA will be partnering with nine US companies in this endeavor.
So, I’m thinking that we are going to get back to the Moon in just a few years.

Sylvia Avery

I think so, too. I’m sure PDJT wants to get back there before China moves in and sets up shop. After what they did with the islands they built in the South China Seas imagine what they must be planning for the moon.

wheatietoo

Yep.
There is a ChiCom space official who has already been crowing about how they will be able to “supply energy from Helium3 to the whole world”.

Sylvia Avery

Mmm hmmm yeah. And at what cost? Go away, China. Just go away.

andrew1979

aren’t they also planning to launch a fake moon into low earth orbit in the near future to provide more “natural light” at night? seems like they are moving along!

Well, that oft recited “Fusion is always 50 yrs away” does offer a wee hurdle in the way of such grandiose claims.
I think the Chicoms are firmly on the radar screen of this POTUS, so not too worried about them having monopoly access to very much

Mueller has a mystery nemesis. Oral arguments to be given in a closed session on December 14:
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2018/12/legal-battle-between-mueller-and-mystery-nemesis-picks-up-steam-but-everything-is-under-seal/
‘One thing is for sure, not everybody is just letting Mueller steamroll over them – people like Manafort, Stone, Corsi and this mystery witness are putting up a fight and challenging Mueller’s authority.’
Politico has more:
https://www.politico.com/story/2018/10/24/mueller-investigation-grand-jury-roger-stone-friend-938572
‘The case traveled in recent months from U.S. District Court Chief Judge Beryl Howell to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, back down to Howell and back up again to the appeals court with most details shrouded in secrecy, another indication that much of Mueller’s activity is taking place behind the scenes and is rarely glimpsed by the press or public.
‘Nothing on the two dockets for the mystery grand jury fight mentions Mueller or his team.
‘However, a POLITICO reporter who visited the appeals court clerk’s office on a day when a key filing in the dispute was due earlier this month observed a man request a copy of the special counsel’s latest sealed filing so that the man’s law firm could craft its response. The individual who asked for the secret filing declined to identify himself or his client and replied “I’m OK” when offered a reporter’s business card to remain in touch.
‘Three hours later, a sealed response in the grand-jury dispute was submitted to the D.C. Circuit.
‘Another detail emerged Wednesday strengthening the secret legal battle’s apparent tie to Mueller’s probe …
‘Lawyers for Trump said the mystery grand jury subpoena fight moving through the D.C. Circuit had nothing to do with the president. “No idea,” said Trump personal attorney Jay Sekulow when shown the docket for the case …
‘Several other lawyers who represent witnesses in the Mueller investigation also said they were unaware of who’s crossing legal swords with the special counsel’s team in the largely secret case …’

Sylvia Avery

Third weekend of protests by gilets jaunes — yellow jackets — in France.
Things turn violent in Paris:

wheatietoo

I read that the French govt requires people to have one of those ‘yellow jackets’ in their vehicles.
It’s some sort of regulation.
So that explains why so many people have those.

churchmouse

Good point. Yes, yellow jackets are mandatory.
The main thrust of the protests has to do with increased petrol prices, which have upset a majority of the French (I’ve heard 60% on French radio), especially in rural areas.

Sylvia Avery

I think using the yellow jackets is a darned clever idea whoever thought of it. I know I would hate having to have this stupid thing because the government insisted. I don’t even care if it makes some sense, I don’t want the government telling me I have to go buy a yellow safety vest and put it in my car. Grrr… A small thing, but you know sometimes those little things can just be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.
I believe the issue that started this all was the cost of gas, but when these things get going they take on a life of their own. Well, it will be good for Macron to have something to keep his hands busy.

churchmouse

He still doesn’t understand how unpopular he is.
He’s the Marie Antoinette of modern French presidents.

churchmouse

Yes! The French now realise that a lot of this environmentalism and accompanying higher taxes to pay for it are bunk.

Nor'easter

” I don’t want the government telling me I have to…” (fill in the blank).
That’s it. Right there.

Cuppa Covfefe

It’s a Europe-wide regulation, and cuts down on people being cut down while waiting for a tow truck, or changing a tire. Plus, they’re cheap (aound €2,00 each) and don’t weigh that much or take up much space. Children often get them around the first day of school, free, from ADAC (our version of the AAA). which helps for safety when they’re out at night, riding bikes or whatever.
Beats getting hit, in any case. We also have to have a first aid kit (up-to-date) with that aluminized rescue blanket (thanks, Apollo program) and either a warning triangle or a warning flasher. It’s not about control, it’s about safety…

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

I found the contrast between the European and US mindsets for driving to be quite interesting; it seems like European road rules are looser in some areas than ours, and many things I saw in Europe would simply bewilder American drivers. We don’t have a way, here, to do what is shown in this link:
http://www.gettingaroundgermany.info/zeichen.shtml#ROW
for “right of way” signs, e.g, give people coming from the south and wanting to turn west (or from the west wanting to turn south) the right of way; our signage (and brains) assumes that at most one straight through direction has the right of way.

Cuppa Covfefe

One of the REALLY interesting things is when they’re doing road construction or repair, and they reroute the lanes onto the other side. Only the Germans (and Swiss and Austrians) could manage the discipline needed to do this, and avoid a rash of head-on collisions. And the TONS of other road signs, to which the Eurocrats have added more (and made the chemical warning signs all but incomprehensible) only add to the “fun”.
Add that to the VERY picky vehicle inspections they have every other year, and you can see why driving is both fun and challenging (if you dare to drive in the fast lane 🙂 ). Until the greens ruin it, of course…

Sylvia Avery

Yes, it is always about safety. And of course it isn’t the expense.
I just have issues being told what to do. Especially by the government.

Sylvia Avery

When I read about these Yellow Jacket riots I am always a bit amazed. I was a history minor in school. How many, many, many times did I read about Parisians taking it to the streets and building barricades and chucking cobblestones at the authorities. And here they are, in time honored tradition, at it again.
I expect almost any day for the guillotine to be pulled out and put to work.

Trump news in brief from the AP (excerpts follow):
https://apnews.com/abd4fccb9a834b7480214cb02311c66e?utm_campaign=SocialFlow&utm_medium=AP&utm_source=Twitter
Re Bush funeral:
‘President Donald Trump says he’d be willing to sign a two-week government funding extension to allow for ceremonies honoring the life of former President George H.W. Bush.
‘Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump says lawmakers have asked him for an extension after Bush’s death late Friday. The 41st president is set to be honored with a state funeral, including plans to lie in state in the Capitol this week, a ceremony at the National Cathedral and a national day of mourning Wednesday.’
On North Korea:
‘President Donald Trump says his next meeting with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un is likely to happen in January or February.
‘The president tells reporters that there are three sites under consideration, but he’s not identifying them.
‘Trump, speaking aboard Air Force One on his return from Argentina, tells reporters that he and Kim are “getting along very well” and have a “good relationship.”
‘He adds that at some point he’d like to invite Kim to the United States.’
On terminating NAFTA:
‘President Donald Trump says he will shortly be providing formal notice to Congress that he will terminate the North American Free Trade Agreement, giving lawmakers six months to approve the replacement he recently signed …
‘He says they can choose between the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement or “pre-NAFTA, which works very well.”’
On tariffs and China:
‘The White House says President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping have reached a 90-day ceasefire agreement on new economic tariffs to allow for continuing trade negotiations.
‘The two met for dinner in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Saturday as they sought to de-escalate a trade war.
‘Press secretary Sarah Sanders says Trump has agreed not to raise U.S. tariffs on Chinese imports as scheduled on Jan. 1. She added that the two countries will “immediately begin negotiations on structural changes” around intellectual property protections, cybertheft and other U.S. priorities.
‘Tariffs on $200 billion in Chinese goods were set to rise from 10 percent to 25 percent in the new year, and Trump was considering duties on even more Chinese goods.
‘The White House says if the two sides don’t reach agreement within 90 days, then Trump will impose the tariffs.’

Brenda Snipes rescinds resignation.
You could not get away with that in the public sector:
https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory/embattled-florida-elections-supervisor-fight-governor-59549475
‘Gov. Rick Scott late Friday suspended embattled Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes even though Snipes had already agreed to step down from her post in early January. Scott replaced Snipes with his former general counsel even though Peter Antonacci has no elections experience.
‘Snipes responded by rescinding her previous resignation — and will now be “fighting this to the very end,” her attorney said during a Saturday news conference.
‘”We believe these actions are malicious,” said Burnadette Norris-Weeks, who said that Broward County voters should be concerned about what Scott is trying to do in the Democratic stronghold by putting in an ally who could oversee the office into the 2020 elections …’

andrew1979

i really hope that elections report is going to detailed and about 10,000 pages long with 100’s of terabytes of data and video!

Me, too.
The article is written in a terribly slanted way; the journalist is taking their side. They’re upset because a ‘local’ person wasn’t appointed. Instead, a Republican was.
Another complaint of theirs is that the replacement doesn’t know anything about elections. That’s a good thing in the sense that a fresh pair of eyes can see the corruption and, all being well, can weed it out. It can’t take too long to learn about elections, anyway. Ms Snipes does not strike me as having the intelligence of a brain surgeon. She’s no Ben Carson.

I tell all my friends with young boys that it is imperative that they apply themselves to find reading material that their boys will be interested in. The mush that is “recommended” today does not interest young boys, they don’t read, and they fall behind in their language skills. This has a long term negative effect on them, but it is very difficult for force them to read if all of the recommended materials are boring.

Gaah, I’m guessing “parents.”
Growing up it was so loud in the main part of the house I spent a lot of time elsewhere, like my room. Dad was part deaf at a relatively early age (I seem to have inherited that), and my mom would have box fans running all the time during the summer–necessitating an even louder TV.
Maybe I overcompensated by moving onto 40 acres, in an area with anti-noise covenants. Can’t shoot on my land but there’s no dawn-to-dusk no-muffler dirtbikes around either.

if you are implying that you are taking care of a parent or other family member, i definitely commend you.
watching my parents take care of both of their sets of parents was one of the most humbling experiences of my life. they treated them with respect and with a love and care that had never entered into my mind that a child would do for their parent, and it was truly amazing.
another thing that our society has pushed away with great glee is family and the responsibility and yet joy that it brings. also much is lost when younger generations are not able to be in a situation with their grandparents growing up. the amount i learned from my grandparents because i was able to spend so much time with them as a child and growing up – and even learned to the day some of them passed away – was an education i could never put a value on.

Deplorable Patriot

A parent or family member…..
Um, since I work from home, I’m the family floater. The list of ailments above includes both parents’ issues, and does not include some one time things with my siblings, and one of those was pretty major. I ended up with kid duty for that sibling’s kids last summer when it all happened.

I do NOT post this link as an endorsement, of either the article itself or the author. I DO read the author frequently and believe he is worth reading to “expand your thinking” and perhaps more.
This article has several errors IMO, one being its condescending view of Trump.
But the comparison with Lincoln is very apt, in exactly the way the comparison is made:
http://thezman.com/wordpress/?p=15705

Linda

It’s extremely difficult to get past this and read the whole article:
“Otherwise, from a policy perspective, the Trump era looks like the Jeb Bush era. The donor class got tax cuts and regulatory reform, while the voters have thus far gotten nothing, other than more of the same.”

Tonawanda

Agree, that sentence shows a complete lack of understanding, as well as the condescension I alluded to.

churchmouse

‘Jeb Bush era’?? The US, thankfully, never had one of those.

Tonawanda

OK, the Bills are playing the Dolphins, and we Bills fans want to see more of Josh Allen our new quarterback.

I feel the need to correct some possible misconceptions some may have gotten from my comments about religion. First and foremost: I am a Christian and will ALWAYS remain a Christian – I have no objections whatsoever to religious discussions here. However, when it comes to MIXING religion and civil governance, well, that is where I draw the line.
I was immersed in the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod from birth, with many pastors and Christian teachers in my family. Over the years, I became disillusioned with “organized” religion (beginning with the outright hypocrisy exhibited in my birth church) and after my daughter’s death, my faith was deeply shaken. I am working my way through this evolution in my beliefs but one thing I can no longer do is consciously pray. Oh, in my subconscious, I pray – it is automatic – but not conscious, intentional prayer. I have also come to believe that far too many people (myself, specifically) place too much emphasis on prayer and not enough emphasis on our responsibility to take action. So, I am NOT asking for discourse on this subject matter – I will work my way through it in my own time – however, please know that everyone here is doing their part – unknowingly – to help me keep going and I treasure everyone’s thoughts and ideas, whether I agree or not. Thanks to all of you.

NebraskaFilly

I have to work on not being so emotional….LOL.

churchmouse

That’s okay.
Our relationship with God is deeply personal and profoundly private. It’s bound to be an emotional experience sharing it online with cyberfriends.
That said, your comment did not come off as emotional but rather as heartfelt information.
May God bless you abundantly, NebraskaFilly.

Nebraska, I am glad you feel you can share your heart with us.

Tonawanda

Someone will have to convince me why “Jesus help me” or “Thank you, Jesus” is not good enough.

Elizabeth Carter

Tonawanda, I can’t tell you how many times a day I say those two things.
I couldn’t figure out for the longest time why we should pray and ask God for things when God loves us, takes care of us and knows our needs before we do.
I finally realized that we need to ask so that when we get the answer or provision, we recognize it and give God thanks for it.

Elizabeth Carter

NebraskaFilly, I lost both of my adult children, My daughter died in 1992 and my son died in 2004. I tried going to churches during that process, but I found I could not do it. I gave it my best shot, but until people have been devastated, most of them are just paying lip service to believing in God. I could not even talk about my children for the first couple of years after they died without tears just running down my face. People would try to reassure me with platitudes but they just made it worse.
I promise you that time will heal a lot of your pain. It will never totally go away, but you really would not want to be a person who could say, “My child died last week” and just forget about it
One thing I learned in that process is when God said He gave His only Begotten son for us, He was using that to teach us how much that really means. I have been through lots of losses and I can tell you that nothing hurts worse than losing your children. Nothing.
I did not understand how time could possibly heal pain that went to the bottom of my soul. I took care of both of my children before they died and got to know them as adults, which was a blessing in one way but made the loss that much harder. I am so glad I had that time with them. I still miss them. Someone told me that the first year is the hardest and I can tell you that is true. I clung to those words because I had no idea how I could possibly live and go forward. Later I tried to understand why that was true. What I discovered is that the first year, everything you do, see, eat etc., reminds you of them. However, in the meantime new memories are beginning to form. After the fifth year your memories are going to background and not just raw pain. After a while you begin to remember the wonderful things about them and you can picture them before they were sick and hurting all of the time.
The loss is intense beyond anything most people have to go through. The fact that I had my children was so much more important to me than the pain that I finally was able to release them into the hands of my God who loves me and loves them more than I ever could. I don’t try to explain God. I do know that what you are going through will be used for good and will make you stronger than you have ever imagined you could be.
Until you get there, cry when you need to and that will be a lot at first. Feel the pain. But even while you are going through all of that, you will find that sometimes you will find a reason to smile or laugh at something. Please be grateful for those times and don’t feel guilty because at first it seems so wrong that you could ever laugh again that you feel that you are betraying them. You are not. God has you here for a reason. He has a purpose and a plan for your life and this is part of your training to fulfill that plan. You are being trained to support others. You will do it because you are here and working through it.
God Bless you. I will keep you in my prayers. You will be fine and one day you will be so grateful that you had your children that you will be glad that God gave you that time with them and will be able to release them to Him knowing that they are in safe hands and you are also.

NebraskaFilly

Ah, bless you, Elizabeth. I can’t possibly tell you, and everyone else, how much it means to me to be here…..with all of you. At this point, I am grateful for my grandchildren – THEY make it worthwhile. And I am working my way back to my faith – it will come.

Elizabeth Carter

It will come.

andrew1979

i have not lost any children and i cannot imagine the pain, but you do not have to apologize for anything.
for 18 years of my life i was the prototypical idea christian and it was all a lie for so many years.
that is not to say i do not research the bible, ingest it, listen to sermons, etc, but i was disillusioned as i have posted about here before, and though i am never ending in my quest to find new knowledge and truth, i just did not have the desire to be a part of any kind of organized experience. i find that where a group are gathered, eventually the tiniest bruise will turn into rot and infect the others around it leading to the exact opposite of what the spiritual life is supposed to be about.
but i love your perspective and i love everyone here willing to throw out any and all thoughts – because the diverse spectrum we all have is crucial to asking questions and finding the pathways that continue the journey and not dead end into “i told you so!” 🙂

andrew1979

watch some interviews with jfk jr and you can tell immediately that he knew what was going on.
even though he would say that all of what happened was kind of like “memories” as it were, you can be assured that he was the type of person that was intent on finding out and knowing how to process the information.
he was a very calm and rational person – obviously we all have our times where we are not – but i believe that he was attempting to get a dialogue going with the general public and get out there to give people an inside view at politics and the backstories that feed the machine.
i am not saying he was “red pilled” to the max and was going to break out stories about his dad, but i believe that he was aware enough to know what was going on. he was not like the rest of the family. that seemed very apparent to me.

Since the purpose of the closed door testimony was to ensure that Comey could not hide behind answering questions because they might be classified, I’m left to think this a win win. Now he has to answer the questions and also Goodlette is going to disclose the testimony almost immediately to the public.
Comey’s statement under this scenario sounds more like a call for help.
Help me out if I’m missing something.

Where can I lodge my objections to PDJT? I am outraged, I tell you – OUTRAGED.
I have laboured for a year to determine what the heck is going on. I read the tea leaves, gutted the chicken and examined the entrails. I have read every tweet and report of POTUS’s utterings and watched every TV clip of interviews given.
Based on this I determined that there was a sting in play and that Mr Rat Rosie was a White Hat, adored and cherished by POTUS. RR was the loyal deputy doing the hard undercover yards for his brilliant boss.
I mean, when I heard that PDJT spent over 3 hrs being debriefed on the OIG report by RR, I just knew that RR was his deputy – no two ways about it. There was no way that a POTUS would spend this much time in the company of a traitor -this was IMPOSSIBLE to conceive. So that was a lock for me and I converted Curry Worsham to my view based on this evidence. We furiously agreed that there was no other explanation. I mean, I considered the alternative view, that PDJT would play along with RR for a different version of the sting, but instantly dismissed this as simply unrealistic – DJT was POTUS, with the weight of the world on his shoulders and simply could not afford the time to for this kind of role playing.
Man, was I wrong – POTUS has played everyone for the perfect sting – He took it to a level considered impossible by his supporters (OK, maybe just me).
SO WELL PLAYED VSGPDJT!!!
I look forward to RR and Mulehead being charged with glee and anticipation!!!

JasonD

Do you have an online Winnamin store? I detect a deficiency developing … 🙂

andrew1979

when we talked about the only possible way mueller was on the good side the other day that was all speculation on what would be going on IF that was the case – were you really leaning that way? not even saying that is “WRONG” yet, i am just curious.
i have long been in the game of trying to figure out angles of EVERY situation just in case because one thing i knew – there was no way i really knew what was going on! 🙂

JasonD

You asked just too late
See my post on the Deplorable Level 5 Thread 🙂
I’m STILL confused – so reserving ALL judgement. My head is spinning – which is good for a brilliant sting

This is a beautiful Bible verse and splendid photo. Thank you for posting.
I cannot disassociate James Comey from this verse, however. He tweeted it almost a year ago to the day:

‘Comey posted a picture of rapids on his Instagram account Friday after the plea was announced, accompanied by the caption: “‘But let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream’ Amos 5:24.”‘

Hi Phoenix Rising,
That is one of my favorite Scriptures. It spent about 10 years on my refrigerator!!

Deplorable Patriot

Posted as a reply on Vice Admiral Stearney above. Found this on VOAT. Looks like he was a whistleblower perhaps.
https://voat.co/v/QRV/2886817
https://news.usni.org/2018/12/01/breaking-u-s-5th-fleet-commander-found-dead-bahrain?fbclid=IwAR2z84FjmQAapL_e4nNppv9rUPtToL3ULYKxuRx9txVrjPWiyqyf3QO1rXM
Vice Adm.

“… The 400-day deployment is in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, according to Sgt. First Class Reginald Pickett, with the 305th. He said the troops will be performing various military police duties during this period.”
The most recent deployment (before this one) left in August of this year… don’t think 400 days have passed yet 😉 so no, this one is NOT a replacement.

I was just looking through that Executive Summary of the Court Martial EO that Lisa linked to and saw this:
“Pt. II, Rules for Courts-Martial was amended to establish a new form of court-martial consisting of a military judge alone with no right of the accused to elect trial by members. ”
Not sure if that’s relevant to what is coming, but thought it interesting. Maybe because some of what these scumballs will be tried for is highly classified info? Don’t forget the stuff Clinton was walking around with in enemy territory.

C’mon Sylvia!! You are missing the next step in your globalist utopia – Shovels!!! A global load of Sylvia’s Shovels (SS not intended, sorry)
This is an opportunity not to be missed – you can export your shovels globally. France is the ideal test market to showcase this brilliant product – then global un-domination … 🙂

Sylvia Avery

Ha, great idea! I could do a special edition with yellow handles to go with your yellow vest. And since they aren’t evil firearms there should be no problems anywhere, right? Or has the EU banned shovels?

JasonD

The beauty about shovels is that they can go underground!!! 🙂
You could say that they are perfect for undermining the EU …
Ack – Dad jokes 🙂

Sylvia Avery

I love Dad jokes!

singularZoe

Steve, haha too funny.

andrew1979

guaranteed by next week you will have to have a license to own a shovel there in the uk and eu! 🙂 and they have to be less than 6 inches and no sharp edges or anything.

JasonD

No doubt a new section will be created, to be staffed by hundreds, to draft the new standards for what constitutes a “Euro Shovel”
I wonder if it will be any good for shovelling Schiff? 🙂

singularZoe

Yes, “the Sylvia”. I want one

Now, Radix is going over the 2017 WikiLeaks leak (Vault 7) of the Clown’s espionage order against the French election in 2012 … same M.O. as what’s been happening in the USA.
Also, the Clown’s FINANCIAL espionage order …

Emeraldstar

Daddy Dragon just received a Tweet to ask all the US patriots to wear yellow jackets, in solidarity with the Europeans trying to rise up and free themselves of the globalist yoke.
One of the reasons that those French police et al took off their helmets is that the people spontaneously rose up in song – their National Anthem.

Emeraldstar

“yellow jackets”
Most hardware stores have them for pretty cheap…

Sylvia Avery

This I can do. And if someone at the Outback Steakhouse asks me why I am wearing a fluorescent yellow safety vest out to dinner, I CAN TELL THEM! What fun!

Sylvia Avery

So Q’s latest drop brings me here to ask: are there protests/riots going on other than in France? Belgium? Germany? Because I have only heard about France, and now that Q mentions it I have seen surprisingly little reporting of even that.

Elizabeth Carter

Sylvia, Thanks for the link.

Deplorable Patriot

Q 2535 brings us this from Belgium and Berlin.

Deplorable Patriot

I’m sorry, the Hague in Holland, not Belgium. I’m being talked at by family members.

Sylvia Avery

Thanks, I saw this on the Q drops but I didn’t actually click through to the photos till a couple minutes ago. I’m feeling unexpectedly emotional. I guess I have counted Europe lost for so long that to see this makes me hopeful for them.

Deplorable Patriot

Oh, no. The Europeans have been more abused than we have. Not all are woke yet, but it will happen.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

The Germans especially are extremely hypersensitive to being accused of racism, so it will be hard to get them publicly worked up about immigration/rapefugees/etc.
They’ve been (ahem) PC whipped.

JasonD

Yeah, I heard that there is PC Galore over there

Linda

Here are the tweets in that drop. They do look like something is going on in those places as well. And they are wearing the yellow vests. Is that an EU thing or just a France thing?

Deplorable Patriot

I get the idea the vests are a safety thing the people are supposed to have in their cars. Do not know that for sure. Read it somewhere. If that is the case, at protests, it would be very easy for the people to just put them on and…..

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

CupOfCovfefe explained it earlier today.
We could almost call them YellowJackets even though they aren’t WASPs.

Deplorable Patriot

Well, if they live underground and sting….

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

I don’t thing we have those around here but those paper wasps went to town around my house this last summer, with at least three colonies…
Better living through modern chemistry–they got taken care of quickly.

JasonD

Globalists don’t like WASPs – they like diversity
Do WASPs still survive – I assumed they had been eradicated?

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

I am not one myself…other than the W part. I guess I must have culturally appropriated it.

wheatietoo

Yes…WASP’s are still around.
And we have a President WASP in the WH, which is probably one of the reasons the globalists hate him so much.

Sylvia Avery

Apparently it is an EU thing. It started in France, I believe. There is an EU regulation (isn’t there ALWAYS?) that says car owners have to have all this safety equipment, including a yellow vest, so that if there car is disabled they can stand beside the road in their yellow vest waiting for help and hopefully not be run over… something.
I find myself incredibly moved by some stirrings of fight in the European soul.

New Q-Thread!!!
