Castling Moves

Well, today was a pretty extraordinary day in DC, and I missed most of it, although I had some extraordinary thoughts on things.  And Q had a big day, too.

If I had to sum it up with a metaphor, Obama’s big castling move was Eric Holder as a corrupt Attorney General.  Having communist radical Holder as his AG prevented anybody from doing ANYTHING about Obama’s crimes.  Worse still, HOLDER could carry out whatever crimes he wanted.  When finally called on it, Holder escaped by putting his wife’s college BFF in as AG.

WOW.

But VSGPOTUS Trump has castling moves, too.  Not to protect himself, but to protect US.  And that is exactly what makes Trump’s moves stronger.  Q explains.

Enjoy!

How many “castles” do you have in 4D Chess?
(asking for a friend)

singularZoe

Good idea, Wolf.

singularZoe

Wish I had learned how to play chess. Lol.

rayzorbak

My absolute Favorite game…….. Zero Luck…… ALL skill

Gudthots

There’s a newer game called Hive that is pretty genius at allowing everyone to play at their own level and yet can be as sophisticated a strategy game as chess. Shared it with the 20-somethings in the family and they dove right in. (Two person game, like chess.)

Plain Jane

Singular Zoe, it’s not that hard for me. Make 2 moves and I’m in check. Put out of my misery in 3 moves. Game fini. Go into kitchen and get a snack.

singularZoe

PlainJane, just priceless. Love it.

Plain Jane

Thanks Singular Zoe. I hate to play with my crew. These guys are rough and stinkin mean. Our oldest grandson was fierce when he was 6-7. He even gave DH a run. The kid was also counting cards at that age.
I don’t even like playing Pinnacle with card counters. I usually maneuver any games to be played with our daughter dearest as my partner, and let SIL and Dh partner. Daughter and I laugh all the way through the game and distract the card counters. I always seek like partners and let the game geeks out-OCD each other.

singularZoe

You know how to have fun without taking it too seriously. Have you ever played Cranium?

Plain Jane

Life is too serious to take games seriously, unless one is using a game to enhance their gray matter.
I think we bought the game for one of our grandchildren on request, but no I never played. Would it be a good game for adults?

singularZoe

I think so, but I guess it depends on the adults. I liked it, but I like board games. I would play Monopoly. I’m just old-fashioned. Cranium is just different. We played it long ago as a family and we laughed a lot.

Plain Jane

Will check it out. I realy dislike Monopoly, but for a good reason. After my dad died when I was ten, on Sunday evenings my mom would pull out the Monopoly game or other board games. Sundays were always sad for me back then. I equate that with the game and never outgrew it.
When our kids were of the age to play it, I would play because of the kids, but always tried to add some silliness to the game to get some laughter going.

singularZoe

Well, Jane, that Is a very good reason. I think D Cranium is fun with a group but very different from Monopoly. I like laughter and silliness. Those times after losing your dad must have been hard.

Plain Jane

I checked it out. It does look like fun. I might just pick it up for when our former neighbors visit again, or even take it along to our daughter’s.
Yeah, it was really pretty difficult after dad died, emotionally and very much financially. But God’s been faithful throughout my life.

rayzorbak

Think I might go buy a Lottery ticket today 🙂

pgroup

Schroeder’s cat might know. But then again, maybe not.

Deplorable Patriot

I’m telling you, after controlling the Mississippi, the Missouri, the Ohio, the Illinois and all the locks and dams, confluences, hydro-electric dams, flood walls, levees, etc., that keep the rivers back when the snow pack melts and when we’ve had way too much rain, a border wall to keep out humans should be a piece of cake. After the flood of 1993, I’m a believer even if the weekend of the big crest the Monarch Levee, which holds back the Missouri out in the valley, broke (or was broken, there are rumors) and a 100 year levee broke downstream on the Mississippi as the water approached the top of the flood wall which had been reinforced with a lot of sandbags.
Yes, they can do this.

Deplorable Patriot

Maybe. I mean, I wouldn’t put it past them. They manage so much in these parts with not just the rivers, but they have a hand in road work when it is federal also.
What’s really kind of funny is that the intake towers on the Mississippi that go to the Chain of Rocks Water Treatment Plant (one of the civil engineering wonders of America) are topped with structures that really do look like castles.
https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=chain+of+rocks+water+intake+towers&qpvt=chain+of+rocks+water+intake+towers&FORM=IGRE

Deplorable Patriot

Yes. That spot for water treatment plant was spotted somewhere around 1900ish. I know the plant was done before the 1904 World’s Fair to provide clear, clean water for the cascades on the Fairgrounds. (less than 2 miles from my house)
The plant has been in continuous use since then and we have some of the cleanest water in the country. Even the fluoride numbers are lower than most metropolitan regions.
Since then, there is another water treatment plant for far west STL county, but that is on the Missouri.

Marica

THat is Super COOL!! Thanks for the pics DP!!! Awesome Castling Moves Indeed!!!

Deplorable Patriot

Honestly, you drive across the Chain of Rocks Bridge and wonder if you should have to pay a toll. No, I was just engineers being funny.

Pat Frederick

these are so cool! thanks for sharing!

Thanks Wolf.
They are after us, the President’s base.

“If I had to sum it up with a metaphor, Obama’s big castling move was Eric Holder as a corrupt Attorney General. Having communist radical Holder as his AG prevented anybody from doing ANYTHING about Obama’s crimes. Worse still, HOLDER could carry out whatever crimes he wanted. ”
But, but, muh independent AG! We ALL know the AG must be independent, right? The AG is always independent. You can’t have the AG being cozy with the WH. Tut, tut. That’s right, must always have an independent AG. Unless, of course, you are a Dim President then all bets are off….
I purely hate Eric Holder. He is number one on my hit parade of folks I’d like to…. uh, see tried by a jury of their peers (or whatever) with due process scrupulously observed every step of the way.
But once found guilty and when the punishment phase is entered into, I’d volunteer for the firing squad, to be the executioner manning the guillotine, I’d inject the lethal dose, I’d push the button on Ol’ Sparky, I’d use my shovel, I’m all in. All in.
This demon is dangerous. I’d be honored to dispatch him to the gates of hell.

Deplorable Patriot

A jury of Holder’s peers might be too lenient. A jury of the people he tried or did put out of business would be the better bet.

Sylvia Avery

I wanted to be sure to call everyone’s attention to Mark Levin’s “A Time for Truth” up above that Q shared.
I like it because it is clear, concise, and honest. It cuts away the noise that the chattering class has cluttered up the public square with regarding the legal activities of last week with and used to make it sound like PDJT is going down.
I knew this stuff, but it helped me to read it in a straight forward, well organized piece like this one to clarify my own understanding and it strengthens me and gives me courage to have the facts at hand.
I also think it is a useful item to help us counter the media narrative within our own spheres of influence. Thus, I am sending it to people who don’t have the time or interest to search all this out for themselves. We all know lots of people like that.
I kind of wish PDJT would retweet it so it would go far and wide. Although getting posted by Q is pretty darned good, too.

Sylvia Avery

So help me out here with the terrorist shooting in Strasbourg or wherever it was. Is this a FF? An activated terrorist to distract from the yellow jackets or to rain holy hell and control down so as to stop the yellow jackets? Is that we are to infer? Just want to make sure I am on the right track….

Sylvia Avery

Never mind, just read this on Lisa Mei Crowley’s twitter feed:
https://twitter.com/LisaMei62/status/1072627879433900034

singularZoe

Lol, that’ll be the next thing, II suppose. If Nancy and crew ever take over they’ll say all the q followers are wacko, can’t have guns and make them go to psychiatrists to get their minds right. Lol.

TheseTruths

Right, ’cause Nancy is such a “mom” figure. Gag…

Deplorable Patriot

Mommy Dearest is the best Nancy can hope for. I mean, I am quite certain none of her clothes hang on wire hangers.

wheatietoo

As an aside…after seeing the images that DeplorablePatriot posted above, I was curious about what other castle-like architecture our Corps of Engineers may have used.
And I found these:comment imagecomment image

“Completed by the Works Progress Administration in 1937, this interesting castle is on the grounds of the Washington Park Zoo, Michigan City, Indiana. The 309th Engineer Regiment, 84th Division, a World War I unit, placed a plaque on the building.
It reads: “In grateful appreciation to the people of Michigan City for having erected this Engineer Castle, for over one hundred years the official insignia of the Corps of Engineers United States Army.”

Plain Jane

This just brought back a distant memory of a grade school outing to the zoo in Michigan City. Wow. Doubt I thought of it since then…6 decades ago. Thanks Wheatietoo.

Marica

thanks Wheetie!! these castles are Beautiful! Didn’t know they dot our beautiful country!!

Pat Frederick

oooohhhh…I could live there!

That’s what it looks like to me.
And if so, then…Qewl.
Hah.

Sylvia Avery

No clue, but that is how I interpreted it as well. I sure hope so!

A Fortiori (@AFortiori16)

My theory is that the Cain affair was a trap. His name was leaked indicating he had information on CF. The bad hats sprung into action, raiding his home in order to get the information, which they hoped would (1) enable them to plan countermoves and (2) allow for the possibility that some or all of it could be destroyed. After the raid, we learned that the government had the information a year before the raid. As I understand the law, a judge will not grant a portion of the government a warrant to search for information another part of the government already has in its possession. In addition, when Cain told the folks who showed up at his door he was a whistle blower, there is some sort of procedure that should have stopped the raid. Whoever conducted this raid exposed themselves. My guess is Mueller’s office.

Pat Frederick

that part left me scratching my head–the part where Cain (early in the event) told the raiders he was a whistle blower ans they still continued searching for 6 hours…
wouldn’t Cain have a contact number to call that could have stopped the search dead in its tracks?

Linda
Marica

Thanks Linda! Love k_ovfefe and Shem Horne!! they make me laugh daily!!!

Gudthots

Not sure where to put this…
Many people think using duckduckgo gives them privacy and avoid censorship.
Maybe not.
A fellow nerd told me a year ago to avoid it.
They recommended startpage.com for better search results. Seems ok.

TheseTruths

StartPage now has a feature where, once the search items are displayed, you have the option to click “anonymous” for each one to ensure privacy. That way, the website doesn’t know you were there and you don’t get ads related to your searches.

singularZoe

Hi, ttt. I like both startpage and duckduckgo, and I think it’s good to try both for different search results. Some like startpage because you get google results, but sometimes I don’t want that.
