That shot of Senator Joe McCarthy brought back a lot of memories although I was just a kid in the 50’s.

They were transplants from Italy. They were old school. Listening to Bishop Martin Sheen sure didn’t hurt one bit either.

I like this. My take is that they’re emotionally toddlers in adult bodies. They literally believe they should be in charge of everything. Could be brainwashed or it could just be old-fashioned emotional immaturity – they throw a fit when the world does follow their lead. I’ve started following Q’s example and respond to them with questions. “Why do you feel that way?” “How did you arrive at this conclusion?” Most of the time I’ve used this tactic, they can’t answer the questions. They can’t even explain how they arrived at the opinions they did. Sometimes they’ll copy and paste an article or quote, but when you ask them to explain in their own words, they can’t do it. It’s utterly bizarre.

Actually ‘ Progressives’ are the Fabian Socialists. They want to implement socialism gradually by stealth. Thus progressively.
Communists want to use revolution to FORCE socialism on a country.
The end result is the same and at times they cooperate. What we see now is the ‘Progressives’ or old Democrat party is being taken over by the Communists.
The line has become so blurred now, between Socialism and Communism.
Socialism is the handmaiden to Communism.
Communists use the sexy handmaiden of socialism to lure people into Communism.
So in my mind…the SoComs are one and the same.
And the SoComs hide behind the name “Progressives” to camouflage their agenda.
Actually Socialism is the term that sub-sums all the above and does include fascism and national socialism (Nazism).
It was only hidden by propaganda of the left, who put the latter on the extreme right of the political spectrum, after the NAZI’s lost WWII and their atrocities were exposed. They did this firstly to hide their own atrocities and secondly to prevent ordinary people to make the connection that these are essentially the same ideologies. This allowed the left to assosiate conservatives and other free thinkers with fascists, when in fact they are the complete opposite.
Communism is the de-jure and Fascism the defacto confiscation of the means of production by the state. Communism outright tells you that you may not own your factory, company etc.
In fascism the state is telling the owners what to produce, were to procure, at what price, how much to pay for wages and what price you may ask for your product. If you are a good corporate citizen you may actually become quite rich, if not they will confiscate what you own and even put you in jail.
