My father was a Navy musician…solo trumpet at 21…totally forbade me from joining so I got myself a music scholarship to a good school (also against his wishes) and got to do band, orchestra and choir work…loved it all! Unfortunately couldn’t take any further as had to get a job and start contributing.
I hung out at the Uni after work often enough that managed to infiltrate the choir…performed in various large scale works at the concert hall…he he…I had nerve in those days!

I’m pretty convinced humans wiped out the mammoths. They probably were just as rude in the garden as modern day elephants can be.
And they probably made many BBQ meals.
Lot of talk over the years about how the US, Russia, and China are vying for military dominance over the Arctic. If US doesn’t gain control of Greenland, China and Russia will certainly try. This “let’s buy Greenland” thing is all about keeping them out.
Agree completely. Greenland is militarily a very strategic location. Russia is far ahead in terms of moving all his chess pieces for Artic warfare.
Saving grace is with proper leadership, the U.S. can quickly mobilize and recover the strategic advantage, especially given the strength of our economy. Russia cannot economically sustain a direct conflict with the U.S. – since the cold war their best hope has always been a decisive first strike. If they can draw in China or someone else to make the first move (HA! good luck, China is many things but STUPID is not one) then they can position themselves for maximum leverage.
That said, while our economic strength and good ole fashioned American “get r dun” can mobilize, it would be MUCH BETTER to not be caught with our britches down in the first like FDR let happen at Pearl Harbor. GAR. If FDR hadn’t been President, and if we’d had a strong Republican, we might have avoided WWII altogether… Germany was very susceptible to economic warfare, rose up mainly b/c of idiot European nations propping them up…
It’s almost as if FDR was a cabal stooge who deliberately dragged the US into WWII via a false flag in Pearl Harbor. Funny how WWII was wrapped up within months of FDR being found dead and Truman taking over.

There was so much incompetence at Pearl Harbor that it boggles the mind. I have a hard time thinking it was intentionally done because so much was so brain dead stupid – it defied any logical unified planning.
The bigger picture is that FDR was a total idiot on foreign policy and basically snubbed the Japanese at every turn. In their honor code he insulted them in the worst possible ways. He was a lot like Obama, incompetent in international affairs. Meanwhile he had plenty of embedded Soviets working in the administration stealing everything they could. We probably wouldn’t have had much of a cold war without him either. The Soviet Union not recognized as a legitimate government by the U.S. until he mucked things up.

– Let Pearl Harbor happen as an excuse to enter the war (no planning needed there—just ignore military intelligence and let the Japanese have at it)
– Let the Soviets steal what they can from America to set up the next world war
– Create a bunch of unsustainable socialist programs that are now near impossible to get rid of
– Use the War Powers act to give virtually unlimited power to the President/Executive branch
– Confiscate American gold to make Americans poorer and the Federal Reserve more powerful
And so on.

Actually, my ancestors stayed in Nova Scotia or went back to France until the revolution there. They came to the USA through Boston. We still are related to the Cajuns, though.
Creoles are people of mixed blood. Generally, Spanish and French as Louisiana/Luzianne was home to both off and on before the USA bought the property.
I thought there was a significant amount of Caribbean Island/African blood & voodoo culture in the Creole too…

I saw my oncologist yesterday, and turns out he was wrong when he told me I didn’t qualify for the clinical trial we had been waiting for over the last 6 months. I DO qualify, so the process has begun to get me started on that as opposed to “standard of care” treatment that was supposed to begin tomorrow.
Thank you for the prayers. In my case, as you can see, they worked. Now we pray that the trial works, and I can find remission…….HOPE.

Seniors need steady safe investment vehicles – the volatile stock/bond market is not good for people beyond their working years.
If we do not significantly outgrow our spending, there will not be a safety net to draw from. The 60s and older generation would suffer in a very big way. The current interest rates are still growth prohibitive. The cost of covering our debt is choking us.

Knowing what these people did at various points to gain information and later to set me up, I have no doubt that this was some kind of operation. WOMEN are the go-to vector in general, but for Epstein, it simply would not be anything else.
I’m thinking that she deceived him into a fake rescue / escape. That would fit Epstein’s psychological profile per Steve Pieczenik. The story would be that the guard is going to help him stage a hanging. But it’s not staged.
This kind of trickery is MILD compared to the shit I know they do.
This is all assuming that he’s actually dead. The only things we ACTUALLY know at even “likely to be true” levels are outsider witness statements like this. Epstein meeting with a sweet young thing is almost the only thing we know for sure now.

I strongly suspect that the murderer is somebody ELSE who knew that the guards would “not be a problem”.
The autopsy is likely correct, but the difference between hanging by self and hanging by others is very little, and if Epstein was duped into cooperating in the construction of the “fake but must look very authentic” noose, then it could look VERY authentic.

What about that report that other MCC inmates “heard screaming” from Epstein’s cell?
I see two general possibilities – depending on WHEN the witnesses (if telling the truth) heard the screaming.
If the screaming was at the time of the murder, it would most likely be Epstein, at the moment he realized they were there to kill him – not help him. OR perhaps Epstein suddenly realized that the guard in his cell was MKed or acting in a programmed fashion, which can appear non-sensible and “creepy”.
Note that the guard could have been programmed with TWO layers – one to help Epstein, and then ANOTHER one to turn on him at a certain PRE-PROGRAMMED point. The guard would SEE something and then do something else.
It could also be that the screaming was by one of the guards, as “cover” for why they were there in the cell – e.g., “finding” Epstein.
OR the screaming could have been legitimate, at the time Epstein was found hanging.
I read that too, and also another report by another prisoner that there was no screaming. No way anything in this can be proved.
What’s Epstein’s motive?
Yes, he was a billionaire (supposedly) who was accustomed to doing whatever he wanted, wherever he wanted, and now he was looking at spending the rest of his life in a small prison cell.
So what?
This isn’t a ‘normal’ person we’re talking about, not by a long shot.
Almost certainly a narcissist and a psychopath.
So this would just be another game to him, a new way to manipulate people and circumstances for his own amusement or objectives.
And just IMAGINE how much fun he could have with that!

My theory is that the powerful people of this world that Epstein provided “services” for, didn’t find the evidence he has on them, the proof, if you will about who and when and tapes and whatever. I also think he made it clear to whoever, if I die, it’s coming out. I think they got him out.

I would recommend starting with The Great Escape…it’s very accessible and you’ll get to see many big star names (Steve McQueen, James Garner, Richard Dawson, Richard Attenborough, Charles Bronson…) along with James Coburn. And it’s a very entertaining film!
The Great Escape is, however, a little on the long side…at just under three hours. But it’s worth it.
