I want to get through the rest of the early morning stuff first. I have a long day ahead. I pretty much had it already planned out.
Yea. I usually run the video in background and open another window to push though posts. Easy to click back and forth. Surely I miss some details, but can always play back a bit. Or simply push on.
1) Very rarely will you see an interview as enlightening, coherent and brilliant as this one.
2) Bannon is all substance and insight, no platitudes, conventional thinking, or blatant self-motivation. In this interview and the one with Owens, Bannon is not only brilliant, but he also shows himself to be a gracious man, which made me like and admire him. In both interviews both young women had moments where they became tongue tied or stumbles a little and Bannon always “rescued” them in a very subtle, almost unnoticeable way but obviously motivated to enhance their stature.
3) This interview clarified my understanding of the trade war as well as my understanding of Hong Kong. Bannon says the trade war is an “armistice,” which is a very telling word. Sundance said long ago that VSG is mirroring the Panda face while grappling with the dragon, and what Bannon says makes that observation more vivid. Trump is not merely or even primarily involved in a trade war, he is engaged in war, period (not what Bannon said, my observation based on what Bannon said). Wolf has been making this same point.
4) Bannon has great respect for The Epoch Times.
5) I would LOVE to hear Bannon’s analysis of 2020 as it stands today. Interesting, he says Biden will not be the nominee because of China and gives his reasons why.
6) My only quibble: Bannon says the two “foundational” aspects of VSG’s presidency are immigration/Wall, and China. If by China he means trade, then yes, but otherwise I do not think China itself was a foundational aspect, although it has become one. Also, draining the swamp is one of the three foundational aspects, equal in importance if not surpassing the other two (immigration/Wall, trade).
7) When viewed through the perspective of an ongoing war between America and China, many, many other issues, foreign and domestic, take on an entirely different look.
Managed to make it through, although I was multi-tasking.
I think the big point he makes is that the Chinese Communist Party needs Hong Kong’s money in order to carry out their totalitarianism. It took the Hong Kong protests, which can no longer be ignored, to shine a spotlight on the panda and the dragon, and remind the world what is going on over there.
The other thing that I found interesting was that Xi and one other person know the global score, but they are overridden by the hardliners, ultimately.
Love these comments, and very much agreed.
As to how foundational China is to the Trump presidency – allow me to do what Sundance always hated – speaking in riddles – because it is fundamental to the Q approach, which is to “educate up to the very top of the classification firewalls – particularly when stuff is inherently unbelievable”.
I do not know if Bannon has been “read in” at levels ABOVE Q, but I suspect that if he was not, then he has somehow gained some serious understanding of those realities by “doing the math”.
I believe that there are many things “China-related” which are hidden behind many layers of classification, that Bannon is either privy to, or understanding of, and that much of what we see revolves around these “unspeakables”.
Everybody is trying to CHANGE THE FUTURE, if not to OWN THE FUTURE. China’s schtick – matching certain others – is to pretend like they’re not doing anything, much less trying to be the biggest part of that pie.
Even though CHINA is not a significant part of the Corso book – mostly because Corso was largely out of the loop for the Clinton years, preceding his death in 1998, there are huge implications for China just by working backwards and going WTF on China – asking WHAT did China know – WHAT did China get – WHO has China been dealing with.
It changes a lot of calculations. And it’s ALL HIDDEN.

I agree, drain the swamp means a lot to voters and has been a Trump pillar right from the escalator ride. It’s a mistake to neglect it.
In his defense I think the bigger picture of China confrontation (trade war PLUS military deterrent PLUS an indirect but determined anti-communist policy) and the immigration+WALL (the wall is bigger than we know -> FOREIGN MONEY, BLACK MARKET TRADE, BROWNSHIRTS, and much more) are the most critical aspects of draining the swamp. Taking on those two huge issues will undercut most of the Washington dynamic that empowers the swamp. These are BIG issues that drive an overwhelming amount of DC corruption – so BIG that confronting it directly is ineffective. Cleaning house at the DOJ+FBI+State+CIA+etc+etc+etc is CRITICAL but does NOTHING if Congress and Lobbyist swamp critters are left to roam freely in the muck. And as bad as DOJ+FBI+State+CIA+etc+etc+etc are, the DC swamp is much bigger and deeper than just killing a few nasty crocodiles.
One more point about this journalist.
I don’t know who she is, and I don’t know what her background or politics are. But the way that she tries to subtly foist OWNERSHIP of the protest and protesters onto America by her question which Bannon “ping-pongs” very skillfully back to China, without being obvious – the way she tries to make it OUR problem and not CHINA’S problem – that is CLASSIC agency psychological work, disguised as journalism.
Many people who function as fronts and meme-carriers for the ChiComs actually have NO IDEA that they are in fact helping mainland China. I knew people from Taiwan or Hong Kong who would swear up and down they were not mainland minions – some even thinking themselves OPPONENTS – but people with smarter and more cynical suspicions, who I was fortunate enough to know, spotted them as worker bees of the mainland, and sure enough – THEY WERE – no matter what they thought of themselves.
Nevertheless, what she’s doing seems VERY close to intentional. It might not be her – it might be coming from her editors – it might be coming from her own information sources and influencers. But in any case…..

Most people are really NOT that deeply in touch with the ideas and opinions they’ve absorbed. They haven’t done the hard philosophical work of understanding why they think the way they do – and frankly, they have no idea how pre-programmed they are. Minds full of dusty cobwebs in need of cleaning out.
I’ve thought about it as anti-virus for the mind. A detection system which recognizes the signatures and hashes of all the information the mind receives from any channel, whether conversational, from reading, media consumption, etc. Each idea virus (Dawkins’ original notion of a “meme” derived from the notion of “enthymeme”) has an origin, narrative, and a solution.
The best starting place is of course Logic. Most people today have not had any real introduction to logic because some radical leftists hated the fact that it used to be a required course.
You know – all of this worthwhile thinking, simply is not possible with the Fake News in charge. Getting rid of Fake News was the smartest thing I ever did. The Fake Normal that they sell is a CURSE.

The entire Pell thing is a move to discredit him and keep him quiet. Pope Benedict XVI put him in the Vatican Bank to work on cleaning it up. Francis removed him, sent him back to Australia, and he was charged with sexual assault after an accusation with a story that is not plausible. I’ve seen enough accounts to believe that Pell was set up, and the current anti-Catholic sentiment was exploited to essentially shut him up without having to do anything illegal. Immoral, and injust, yes. But most of us Catholics who are paying attention don’t think Francis really cares about that.
The evidence against Pell seemed weak, and there were logical problems with it based on the facts as reported. But it is very hard (IMO) to have evidence fairly evaluated when there is widespread public clamoring involved.

Proof positive that we are held hostage by the translators – and in this case it includes the Evangelists who wrote in Hebrew and Greek. If the prayer was given in Aramaic, just about all of it is not quite right.
I have several editions of the New English Translation (NET) handy, including a Diglot edition with the Nestle-Aland Greek text. When the translation for the NET was done they included detailed footnotes explaining the translation decisions that were made and why certain readings were preferred. Some of the common verses that everyone memorized read differently because they were trying to translate the original rather than preserve familiarity with the King James. For me, it helps b/c I personally knew several of the people who commissioned the translation or were translators themselves.
I’m not as concerned about the Greek and Aramaic differences – the writings were by native speakers of both languages and based on eye-witness accounts. The jump from Koine Greek to Modern (and contemporary American) English is a LOT more concerning for me. Greek has subtlety and nuance that make it challenging to get right. A lot of translations into English are pretty brute force b/c the structure is completely different.
Thanks, but as a Catholic, my authority is the Vulgate which is, itself, two generations from the Vulgate. And the translation does matter. The original intent needs to be intact.
I’m not going to argue with you on that, just advising for anyone interested on one of the methods I use. And trying not to get into too much detail lest someone decides to go into King James onlyism 😉

It occurred to me as I was lying in the dark waking up, morning person that I am, that a frequent complaint regarding the Catholic clergy applies to using the Vatican to launder money. Clergy who went into the seminaries before going to college, or working, or doing anything in the real world are almost always financially clueless. The Italians are not as clueless as the others, in fact, they are usually quite with it even if their taste in things like…decor…is a little questionable. The others, not so much. I mean, we had an Italian archbishop that started an endowment and left us in the black by quite a bit, even with the Scandal, and his Irish successor ran right through most of the overage on stuff like imported vestments. And they’re hideous, too.
That sort of ignorance on the matters of finance and central banking would have been something to exploit, and use the moral stature of the Church to advantage and cover.

I think it’s all very true. I find it interesting that the article writer really doesn’t agree with the idea that Trump and God have anything to do with each other – she sounds like a “Stormy Bot” who bought Stormy’s tall tale – hook, line and sinker. She finds it “interesting”, “curious”, and even (probably) “mistaken” that Christians backed Trump.
To me it’s all a no brainer. We backed Trump for the same reason that Christian women will very frequently choose an ERRANT Christian husband over a more overtly and behaviorally moral atheist – because we tend to TRUST those who *ALSO* TRUST in God – even if they FAIL at times.
CO-BELIEF is more important that CO-BEHAVIOR – particularly when there is a huge lifestyle gulf anyway.
Trump may have had a weakness for beautiful women and an inability to stay married, BUT….
– he is fundamentally religious and trusting in God, but in a quiet way which is actually extremely in accord with even *minor* specifications by Christ (watch for this – I’m very impressed)
– he is actually the OPPOSITE of antisemitic, not only with his daughter being a Jewish convert, but trusting his Jewish son-in-law completely with the highest confidence
– he dated beautiful women of all kinds, without prejudice
– his inauguration speech – big parts of which were almost surely written BY HIM – makes more strong references to God than almost any major speech by a President that I can remember, except at functions like prayer breakfasts, etc.
No, Trump gives Christians and Jews every reason to trust him, because it is impossible to believe that Trump trusts God ANY LESS that we do. And as for behaviors, I may have beaten Trump on a few moral technicalities, but on big-ticket items of both the Old and New Testaments, SPELLED OUT VERY PRECISELY, Trump has me left behind at the starting gate on DOZENS of them.
Last sermon I heard – perfect example – and not the first time – I said – “YUP – Trump has actually done that. LITERALLY. Just like it says in the Bible. MODEL obedience. Many times. Me? Not so sure. Probably not. Maybe if I loosen the definitions just a bit….”

Their first problem is they don’t recognize God as the sovereign creator to whom we must answer. Then they make themselves minigods by deciding what is “Christian” when it suits their political leanings or human proclivities. (“Love” means having no borders or moral standards.) President Trump worked so tirelessly to win his campaign. I do believe that his election was in God’s hands and millions of us were praying for Trump. Hillary would have been the collapse of our republic. We still are praying for President Trump to stay safe. Hillary worked not at all. The Fiancee and I went in to rejigger our cellphone plans……she’s been using bunches of data (while I use none), and she has an idle iPad which hangs off there. On my end, I’ve got a business plan (CPA), but live in a cellular desert where I have to walk a block in some direction to get a bar [my across-the-street neighbor, who was a midlevel exec for AT&T before he retired, used to complain about the same thing. He’d work from home for four hours, then nip-off the grocery store, and have a dozen emergency phone alerts hit him as soon as he was halfway down the block].
Incidentally, the Big Thunder Mountain ride at Disneylands everywhere is modeled after the scenery there.
Anyway, as part of our rejiggering, we talked about bucket-list level vacation spots…..and we discussed a strategy that the Fiancee and I have used for years — the “subvacation”.
Simply stated, major travel is a pain-in-the-ass…..whereas minor travel can be, well, minor. If you tried to travel to exceptional destinations closely situated to a major travel destination, it would be a big deal……but if you just went to the major travel destination and “day-tripped” to the exceptional destination, you can have wonderful experiences and little additional bother — just rent a car and book a hotel.
I’ll drop a couple of examples here.
A couple of years ago, we wanted to do a trip to Vegas. Looking for opportunities close to Vegas, we found Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks in southern Utah — about 4 hours away. So we booked a seven-day Vegas trip with a 3-day subvacation for Utah. We thought we’d do a day of travel, a day in Bryce, and a day in Zion…..we ended-up blowing-off Zion. Bryce Canyon is drop-dead gorgeous, spectacular, amazing, wonderful, entrancing — we did both days there. Highly recommended. Zion might be the same, but we didn’t go. [Note to visitors — we regularly hiked trails at home with 600 ft altitude changes, so we thought doing a trail at Bryce with a 120 foot change would be trivial……Bryce’s rim is at 8400 feet and the elevation makes a 120 foot dip feel like you carried a sack of cement.] Even getting there is fantastic — we saw pronghorn just off the highway!
My folks live in Salem, OR. You pretty much have to fly into Portland and rent a car to get there to begin with…….but once you’re there, you’re within striking distance of Silver Falls State Park, home of the Trail of Ten Falls [speaking of Disney scenery]. The Trail really does have ten falls — and you end up walking behind about half of them. This is within the Cascades, and the local geology has created fearsome wonders. While walking behind a waterfall, and reflecting on the lava shelf above that overhangs earlier terrain, you can actually look upward into the shadows of trees that were engulfed by the flow. Oregon has done a more than awesome job on the signage — it’s the only place I can think of, offhand, where trails are marked with maximum transverse slope — but that doesn’t mean there are no consequences. Good hiking shoes with major grip are recommended (we call ’em “glue shoes”).
We actually structured one trip where the most important bit was the subtrip. In 2008, we went to London…..and just happened to jet off to St. Petersburg, Russia for 10 days in the middle. Worked very well, particularly because Iceland had a volcano eruption in the middle of our trip and we knew that we could easily transit anywhere to get back to London.
It may not be for everyone, but we’ve had a lot of fun doing subvacations.

Subvacations are a great idea. Completely agree. Travel should be fun, no pressure and make us happy instead of tense.
We use “Clock theory”. We’ll fly into a destination like Sicily, for instance. I modeled the island like a clock. Did a LOT of research at home before we left and took files in a small portfolio. Landed in Palermo, rented a car and took off west or counter-clockwise. As we traveled around the island, we had the advantage of knowing where certain things were which were cool. Other things, if we were not in the mood, we skipped.
So….., to visualize, Big T was driving down the autostrada and all of a sudden, I would scream out “Get off on this exit”, and he would veer off, wide-eyed and with white knuckles. “Turn left!!” I would scream, and down a country road we would go. Led us to a ancient Temple to Apollo, closed for a holiday. We hopped the fence and were the only ones there. The best of vacations!!
We had the freedom to linger in spots or move on depending on what was interesting to us at the time.
We can’t do the planned schedule/guided tour vacation.
On your cellular desert thing, I may live in a major metropolitan city, but right where I live is a gray zone, and it’s worse in the summer when the trees are in full leaf. Honest to God, in my neighborhood, people have to go out in the yard or on the porch or deck to talk on the phone. I’m serious about this. I tend to go to the park around the corner, but you can’t get a decent signal inside.
I feel your pain, especially since the land line is now gone.
Not a day goes by, I don’t REGRET letting my land line go…………. also lost the # I had for 30 years, somewhere in the transition.

The Summer between my Freshman & Sophmore year in college I planned a coast to coast trip. Mom had just had Cancer surgery & radiation so was NOT up to long car trips. Dad had FINALLY ‘earned’ three weeks vacation and could ‘borrow’ a week from the next year. I therefore planned an easy ~300 mile drive followed by a day of sightseeing.
We bought a pop-up tent trailer hooked it to the back of Dad’s V-8 Impala and off we went. Stopped in Chicago for a day with my boy friend’s family and then off to the Corn Palace in South Dakota then to the Badlands and on through the northern route, down to Vegas then to California to visit Mom’s cousin and returned by the southern route.
It was a really memorable trip and Yes we stopped at both Bryce Canyon & Zion.

Daughter update:
Appetite much improved to the delight of the nurses. I’m still making green smoothies for extra nutrition. She’s napping a lot – and slept all night. The nurses and staff are very respectful of her sleep and don’t walk in turn on bright lights or talk loud when they have to give medications or take vital signs.
We are delighted with this critical care/recovery/rehab facility. It has everything – OR, ICU, lab, excellent nursing care and so far, very good food.
Good. Having a very active family makes a difference. When there is no one else people get sloppy.
The not waking her up is fantastic. One thing that my family always complains about regarding hospital stays is the chaos. The internist my parents go to expresses his frustration on it as well, as the hospital we use for most stuff has whole sections blocked off. Every patient could have a private room if the administration so chooses to actually serve the patients the way they should be treated.
Not to mention nursing care. Ive never liked the idea of publicly traded hospital investing, plus they just dont give nurses adequate staffing ratios. People have a lot of illness. The old models dont work.

So facts like “85% of Monsanto is held by mutual funds and Institutional (financial) Holders” while true in that the money originated from pensioners and other little people does not tell the whole story. The key to understanding who actually controls US corporation shares and therefore who was voting to allow the the ripping apart of American companies via ‘Leveraged Buyouts’ during the 1980s & 1990s, is Mutual Funds and Pension funds. This is how a small group can wield a lot more power than their actual wealth would indicate. One of the points brought up in the The Network of Global Corporate Control paper.
Pension money of course is certainly not controlled by the individual.
Here is one of the common misconceptions about mutual funds. Investors don’t actually own the stock their money buys via mutual funds.
If for example you look at Monsanto you will see that a large chunk of the shares are held by Institutional Holders (pensions) and Mutual Fund Holders. Although the money invested belongs to the average citizen the shares held are VOTED by someone else. For example when I checked several years ago divisions of Fidelity held a total shares: 39,127,443 or 7.15% The founding Johnson family controls most of Fidelity, and Edward C Johnson 3rd, chairman of the group vote those shares.

No matter how many so-called advances we make as a society, spiritually we are no better off than those who have lived before us. As King Solomon once said, “There is nothing new under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9). Human beings, apart from Christ, will inevitably choose to rebel against the ways of God. As a result, cultures that once were thriving will begin to deteriorate. The question we must answer as believers in Jesus Christ is How shall we live in such times?
How shall we live now as Western civilization, once built upon the Protestant Reformation, continues to turn its back on God? How shall we live now when our culture, which once espoused Christian principles, now publicly mocks and ridicules God’s ways? How shall we live now when even the church has joined in the anti-Biblical chorus?
As believers, we live in the City of Man—but we are pilgrims in this world.
Read Hebrews 11. As believers, we live in the City of Man—but we are pilgrims in this world. We know our true home is the City of God, but we must learn to live here and now in the City of Man as Christ’s ambassadors to a dying world. Because we belong to Jesus and have the Holy Spirit, we can find the strength and wisdom to not just survive but thrive in the City of Man.
In the beginning, there was Eden, a beautiful garden. In the end, there will be an even more beautiful garden city called the New Jerusalem. For now, we live in the City of Man between these two gardens that bookend history. As we live here, we must keep our eyes fixed on another garden—Gethsemane. Because of the cross, we can walk with our heads held high no matter how bleak things may now look in this present city. After all, we belong to Jesus, and one day we are going to reign and rule with Him in the City of God.
Prayer: Lord, thank You not only for the promise of heaven, the City of God, but thank You for the full joy and freedom that I can have even now in the midst of the City of Man. I praise You. Help me to live a holy life that I might bring glory to Your name. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

I will totally believe this. My hometown is still polarized, although that’s receding. There are still pockets in what we call midcounty where single streets are black, and remain that way because of the way they do real estate, but go to the grocery store, and we’re all the same.

I want to start a dialogue with you about shorting the stock market sometime between now and Nov. next year.
1. There is no doubt in my mind that the Globalist/Leftist POSs are going to try to crash the market sometime between now and then.
2. Moreover, if I thought POTUS might lose I would definitely want to short the market anyway.
3. Uncertainty about the election outcome would definitely cause a market pullback anyway (See 2016), something the crashes will definitely try to leverage.
4. I believe the Dow is currently building what will prove to be an inverse H&S formation. If true, it would result in a move up to Dow 30,000 (actual target would be 30,250ish). If that happens, Dow 30,000 would be a very strong point to short the index with an incredibly important election looming.
5. From there, it’s simple. If POTUS wins, take profits. If not, continue to profit as markets collapse anticipating the left undoing everything POTUS has done.
6. Don’t forget about the DS/Globalist controlled Fed Res. It’s be clear that THEY have absolutely no fear of accountability from anyone.

It was probably the best reaction he could have, except for fighting over the cell phone. Fear provokes aggression. This guy didn’t show any fear, he acted like he didn’t even care.
For one thing, that’s not the reaction the gunman was expecting. It interrupts whatever lunatic narrative is running through his head while he’s walking around with a rifle.
For another thing, it’s a lot harder for the gunman to freak out and hurt someone in the process, if the people around him are calm and non-threatening. It’s a lot harder to loose your cool, when the people around you are acting like nothings wrong.
And the last guy you want to loose his cool is the guy with the rifle.
So acting like it’s no big deal could be a good a survival strategy, if you can pull it off. Helps if it’s not the first time someone has pointed a gun at you.

I know of a chase about 2 weeks ago. A SGT and an LT for Riverside sheriff chased some guy into a field. Their units caught the grass on fire, burned a house down, the 2 units, and damaged like 6 other homes. A couple million damage. You arent suppised to drive into grass for that reason. Its basic non supervisory knowledge, but these 2 did it. And they arent getting in trouble bc they are favored.
No water, no electricity. No family. No real job, naybe trucking. Creepy and ill. He screams serial killer living in that place as it is.
