The crossfire from the three U.S. forts and land batteries, and lack of progress in the British land attack, made the boats withdraw out of range after a few hours of exchanging fire. He’s just shy of 22 inches long but that includes an unusually long tail for a beardie.

He last weighed in at 540 grams at the vet, which apparently is just about right for his size. He’s curled up right now near my UPS or I’d tell you how long he is snout-to-vent (i.e., without the tail) which is how I tend to think of such things anyway. (“that lizard is SIX FEET LONG!!!” gives me a mental image of the lizard’s body being 6 feet long, rather than 2 1/2 feet with three feet of tail. Very, very different!)
I saw one about his size at my vet today. He lives there. Not as cute as yours, of course 🙂
He’s quite the celeb, but as far as I know no female bearded dragons throwing themselves at him, yet.

I am trying to interpret this, and I’m not coming up with clear answers.
One possibility is the pen (or at least a cap) pointing at Herridge’s MACBOOK – and that means APPLE (who has donated a ton of money to BLM) and possibly Steve Jobs’ widow, Jane Fonda – whoops – I mean Laureen Powell-Jobs-Something-Whatever, who bought the Atlantic and turned it into Fort Anti-Trump.
Or maybe it’s “in the redactions”. Or maybe it’s the circle around ANTIFA, which means that money going into the Biden campaign that comes in through antifa(dot)com goes back out to rioters – that the site is used to launder the money.

I’ve never known what “follow the pen” means. I don’t know if the pens in the pics are pointing to something in particular; it hasn’t seemed so. If Herridge was highlighting things that Q wanted her to, it seems she would have to be in communication with and cooperation with Q. But Q has said there are no outside communications, so I tend to think Q is telling us to pay attention to her reporting. She is one of the very few who is looking at these things.

That’s actually a great math question. is there such a thing as a mathematically inscrutable money-laundering system?
Charities. Huge donations are not unusual, and can be spent on whatever, right? I mean, the money is supposedly tracked by the IRS and reported, but what if it isn’t? Or, what if it is reported accurately, and the expenditure is just used for a different purpose?
Like this: a huge “donation” comes in from Soros to a charity like the Clinton Foundation. The CF has some sort of mission in an earthquake or hurricane zone, so they buy a whole bunch of “communications equipment” for that mission. Only some of it is “re-routed, and ends up with Antifas.” Who tracks that? Who would ever know? I mean, hell, the military was losing equipment left and right in the sandbox, and nobody knew what the hell happened to it.
Great thinking. Yes. And charities not only send money and equipment into conflict zones and across borders – they especially get to move stuff right past restrictions and sanctions.

I read Judge Stickman’s entire 65 page ruling on the State of Pennsylvania shutdown. I know, I am a freak that enjoys reading records, court, employment, medical. . .
1) The governor formed an interdisciplinary group pulled from the governor’s office and state agency to decide policies on the economic side and the health side of the pandemic. The group never reduced its purpose in writing but its purpose was to develop mechanisms to respond to the pandemic in a short period of time.
2) The group consisted of a policy team and a reopening team. None of their hundreds, if not thousands, of their meetings were open to the public, no meeting minutes, and formality was not the first things on their minds.
3) Its members consisted solely of the Governor’s policy & planning office, none of whom possessed a medical background or are experts in infection control.
4) The Governor never attended the meetings but was briefed by members of his administration and consulted on key matters. The teams never conducted formal votes but arrived at policy by consensus when a favored approach was agreed on.
5) All the orders were to protect the public from the pandemic and prevent spread of disease, by reducing interaction between individuals. There was no end date to any orders, even if a county had gone “Green” meaning restrictions lifted. The Commonwealth testified that orders were suspended but none had been rescinded and could be mandated again at any time.
6) Judge Stickman considered what type of constitutional scrutiny was needed for legality of the lock down, which businesses were life sustaining or non life sustaining, freedom of assembly, and freedom of movement such as intrastate travel.
7) The commonwealth failed to define on how they developed criteria for determining a life sustaining business vs none life sustaining business. There was no written criteria, arbitrary and changed 10 times. Two businesses (appliance/furniture store & hair salon) were designated non-life sustaining. Once you were arbitrarily designated as none life sustaining there was no recourse to appeal the decision. The Court asked, “What if the business changed its business model to be life sustaining, would the commonwealth redesignate the business?” “No.” The Court, “So no change or appeal once the designation of none life sustaining was made.” “No, not allowed to change, no recourse.”
8) Judge Stickman ruled that the state allowed Home Depot/Lowe’s/Walmart to sell appliances & furniture but not the small private store selling the same was unconstitutional. He ruled that hair salons & beauty supply stores were not allowed to sell beauty & health products but Walgreens/Walmart/supermarket chains were allowed to sell these items as unconstitutional.
9) He then ruled on the unconstitutional orders related to large gatherings, indoor capacity, and so on. The orders were limits of 25 people indoors and 250 outdoors to prevent mega spreading, but allowed protests of unlimited amount of people. If a county went “Green” the orders were suspended and never rescinded to stay at home lockdowns, business openings, or gathering size. All could be reimposed when ever the governor deemed it so. Judge Stickman said this is a no no, then cited the the exception to congregate gatherings for the “Spring Carlisle” allowing 20,000 people outdoors and 250 people indoors, which was 50% of the Spring Carlisle occupancy. Judge Stickman pointed out how the 20,000 outdoors limit was almost a 100 times the governors orders limit of 250 people outdoors.
When Judge Stickman asked if any corona virus mega spreading occurred after a protest gathering exceeding the governor’s orders on outdoor congregant limits the Commonwealth said “I am not aware specifically. I have not seen any press coverage or, you know, CDC information about that. I have not seen any information linking a spread to protests.”
10) Judge Stickman said that the shockingly unprecedented lock downs of people in their homes & businesses was very unconstitutional even during a pandemic. He also cited quarantine rules and how these are to be applied constitutionally but never a mass lock down.
11) Judge Stickman said that the constitution allows for a person to follow their occupation and earn a living contrary to what the governor said, that there’s is no right to earn a living in the constitution. That was struck down by the judge.
12) The Court rejects out-of-hand any suggestions that the stat at home order was a recommendation not a mandate, using the plain language of the governor’s orders and citations given to people that didn’t obey the stay at home order.
There is more interesting stuff, but this is the gist of why Judge Stickman ruled against the Commonwealth, but I thoroughly enjoyed the Judge Stickman’s pointed questions to the defendant (the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania) with no logical answers. I hope this is a precedent and bunch of plaintiffs sue their states over the lock downs, business shutdowns, limited assembly, and son.
if I remember correctly Judge Strickland premised his finding by saying (paraphrasing here) “the intentions were well meaning, but…”.
So the question is, does anyone notice anything the Judge may of saw that was “well meaning” coming from this interdisciplinary board and or the Governor’s office and the State Agencies? or should we be applying Aubergine’s Razor to all this in that (“It is dangerous to attribute to stupidity that which could be the result of malice or guile.”) .
Kidding of course, as Judge Strickland was likely just being congenial before he dropped the hammer.

I know our PA legislature has been trying and trying to curtail Wolf’s emergency powers. it was supposed to be for a certain amount of time, but he keeps extending it giving himself a dictatorship. and he applies his “rules” without regard for varying conditions in different sections of the state. the less populated northern part of the sate has not seen the case or death numbers to validate the lockdown on restaurants and bars, but because of nonsense in Philly, we are all subject to draconian measures.

Full disclosure I’m on the waiting list (and paid long ago) for the regular version and have been debating upgrading my order. It is a LOT of money, and they’ve faced enormous challenges technically because they’re literally building a smart phone from scratch; they’ve had to develop the software and much of the hardware. In many cases the hardware in the phone is older stuff as a consequence; it won’t be the most powerful phone in creation but you will OWN the phone, rather than someone else being able to control it.

The city of Smyrna in Asia Minor was considered a jewel of the Near East and a cosmopolitan city with a muti-ethnic, multi-religious population.
During a period of war, in September of 1922, tens and tens of thousands of mostly Greek Orthodox and Armenian Christian refugees were fleeing the muslim Turks from inland, as well as from the city. When they were trapped on the waterfront because of fires set to destroy parts of Smyrna, they perished. A number of ships just off the docks did not pick them up to save them, but a Japanese ship, among others, did rescue some refugees.
There are multiple videos of the film footage of the burning city available to see. One source for information is the Greek Genocide Resource Center with bibliography and newspaper accounts available.

India on Monday rejected China’s demand to grant it market economy status, amid a military face-off along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). New Delhi will continue to treat China as a non-market economy, which allows it to impose anti-dumping duties on imports from China.
World Trade Organization (WTO) members are allowed to apply anti-dumping measures on any company if it exports a product at a lower price than its home market, & if the product threatens to impact the local industry.

Saw a riot lead agitator last night in Lancaster rallying the small crowd. Yelling and exhorting the front liners to be prepared to advance, provoke. He said..don’t be in the front line if you’re not prepared to do this. He claimed he would be right there encouraging them…lol, his voice through the bullhorn might be there but wonder if his actual body would..let those front line suckers take the rubber bullets and gas!
I don’t know what happened after that. I had to go to sleep but the crowd was fairly small and they were also fighting amongst themselves.

Where I live in OH lots of Trump signs went up and within days someone stole them. Again some people put some trump signs on their lawn and again they were stolen. No one steals the couple of Biden signs we are civilized the other site is demented to do that.
We had a huge trump sign and someone took it off and left the two wooden stakes that supported the sign. The hate runs deep God help us if these type of people get into the WH.

Most of Omidyar’s largess has been directed to left-wing causes and Democratic candidates over the years but he found political soulmates on the NeverTrump Right. Two NeverTrump outfits—Republicans for the Rule of Law and Stand Up Republic—are Protect the Results partners. Stand Up Republic is fronted by NeverTrumper Evan McMullin; Republicans for the Rule of Law, headed by Kristol, is one of many groups that receives grants from Omidyar’s vast network.
Kristol participated in the post-election tabletop exercises and bragged on Twitter that he had played the role of President Trump.
James and Kathryn Murdoch: The son and daughter-in-law of Fox News founder Rupert Murdoch are spending lots of money to separate themselves from the family’s conservative legacy. James resigned from the company’s board in July over disputes with the cable news channel’s “editorial content.”
The Murdochs, worth a reported $2 billion, are donors to Kristol’s Republicans for the Rule of Law and another Kristol-operated group, Defending Democracy Together, which is spending tens of millions on advertisements in swing states featuring purported Republicans planning to vote for Joe Biden. (The Murdochs also support the former vice president.)
Defending Democracy Together publishes The Bulwark, an online magazine that replaced Kristol’s now-defunct Weekly Standard. The blog houses a number of NeverTrumper editors and writers including Charles Sykes and Mona Charen. The Bulwark, like other NeverTrump organs, is pushing the idea that the president, not the Democrats or Joe Biden, won’t accept the results of the election. Astronomers have managed (thanks to spacecraft in orbit, above the atmosphere which screens out a lot of highly energetic stuff that we wouldn’t want to expose ourselves to) to study all sorts of other parts of the electromagnetic spectrum from gamma rays (most energetic, shortest wavelength, highest frequency–the product of nuclear reactions) through X rays, ultraviolet, our visible spectrum, infrared, microwave and radio (we can do much of radio from the Earth’s surface).
Visible light has wavelengths between 440 and 700 nanometers (billionths of a meter, a nanometer is 1/25,400,000 of an inch), gamma radiation is shorter than 0.01 nanometers, radio is longer than 100,000 nanometers (though sometimes things near that length are called microwaves).
The first hint that there was something beyond visible light in the spectrum was when William Herschel (who also discovered Uranus) placed thermometers on different parts of a rainbow spread by a prism. He set one thermometer off to the side as a control, to monitor the room temperature. He was unknowingly placing it in the infrared part of the spectrum. He expected it to be the lowest temperature, and then he’d be able to tell how much heat was in red light, orange light, yellow light etc. up to violet. Instead he was thunderstruck to see the thermometer was reading hotter than any of the ones in the visible light. Conclusion, there was an invisible form of light that carried heat better than the visible kind! Named infra-red for “below red.”
Some animals (e.g., bees) can see beyond violet into the ultraviolet, and flowers often have interesting patters on them only visible to creatures that can see what we call “bee purple.” We can, of course, expose film sensitive to this color and develop the film in black and white to see what the bees see, though we won’t see the color and fine shading that they do.

You are correct. There should be necropsy reports on just what the animals died of. I have sent several animals in to be tested over the years and they ALWAYS KNOW. Before they are dead, you sometimes get best guess but not after.

He said Pelosi is keeping the Dems in session until the Republican Senate agrees to her demands, basically laying a guilt trip on them for putting the House majority’s health in jeopardy. 🙄
