IT’S RAINING! IT’S REALLY RAINING!
That may not be exciting to anyone else. But after 10 days of being stuck inside the house because the air outside was hazardous to breathe and hurt to do so, I just had to go outside and stand in it. I’ve been praying for rain for the first time in my life. In Oregon, we get a LOT of rain, so I never felt the need to before. But with the whole state practically in lockdown because of the air and so many people and animals in evacuation, it’s the most beautiful rain I’ve ever seen.
Maybe we can start to recover now. My mom was able to go back to her home yesterday. I went with her to make sure it was safe. Her home and all the others in her tiny town are intact. It’s the only town in the Santiam Canyon, unfortunately, that wasn’t hit and devastated. I have a number of relatives in those towns and none lost their homes, though over 700 families did. That doesn’t sound like a lot in the scale of big cities. But these are tiny old mill towns. And these are salt of the earth people. Every one of those towns has Trump signs on every fence post and barn and house, just like small towns all over America. I thank God my family was spared, but pray for all those who weren’t.
People are always telling conservatives to get out of blue states. But they just don’t get it. I grew up in this state, one of the most beautiful in this big, beautiful country. We were a red state then. Portland is blue. But Portland isn’t Oregon. There is a big swath of red all over this state, and we aren’t about to leave it to the thugs and lunatics in Portland. We’ll keep fighting to take back what is our heritage. And you don’t do that by leaving.

You are going to have to overcome small thinking about vaccines to see what the Chinese would be doing here.
BIG HINT – assume that Trump and the military know what they’re doing.
Let’s assume that the Chinese do have a plot to use two viruses (or variants – whatever one chooses to call them) to create an “ADE pinch” (my abbreviated name for the use of ADE in a 4GW biowarfare strategy). Assume static viruses for easier solution, although answers for generalized adaptive viruses are better.
Homework Question 1: Show that any vaccine for the first virus is more likely to be LESS of a risk of getting caught in the pinch than catching the actual first disease. Explain why.
Homework Question 2: Show that even for somebody who has had virus 1, subsequent administration of vaccine 1 which does NOT induce ADE itself will most likely reduce risks of the ADE pinch from the second virus.
You still with me? If you can’t demonstrate these logically, you’re not following the biowarfare strategy. If you don’t think I’m right, you’re not following the science. Drop all preconceptions about “vaccines good” or “vaccines bad”.
Comment: Why do you think Trump and the military are creating vaccines? See answers to question 1 and 2.

These are just to get started. The answers change wildly depending on the number of people who are actually exposed to the first virus. Again, look to Trump and the military. What did they do on “domestic” vs. Chinese vaccines? What did the Chinese do, using their Democrat 5th column?
People may not like that answer, but I challenge anybody to disprove it. Whether one assumes ADE at 0% or 100% probability on a later coronavirus, a US vaccine makes sense, if a LATER Chinese coronavirus is coming.

I think that part of the Timeline should probably be…January 15, 2020.

i got a disturbing phone call late yesterday afternoon. seems my blood samples (yearly blood work) were “damaged” upon arrival at the lab and the doctor’s office called t see if I could come in to have blood withdrawn again. ( I reminded her I’m 200 miles away and we made other arrangements)
I asked how they were damaged and the woman I spoke with (the same one who drew the blood) told me the lab didn’t say…only that they arrived damaged and unusable.

when we first moved here 14 yrs ago, I asked several people who’s opinion I trusted what they thought of the medical professionals in the surrounding area–where did they go? would they recommend the doctors? dentists? sadly none did…
and these are very much buy local/ support local businesses kind of people.
all of their doctors/dentists were about an hour away…
if I get sick, there is an urgent care facility within an hour away, and knock on wood, since I don’t get the flu shot anymore, I rarely get sick.
I can’t fault the doctor or the office for the damaged blood samples–something happened after the samples left the office.

I actually went Tuesday this week. on our road, where the blacktop finally begins, is a farm–well, coming around a turn that morning, I almost ran into a big Black Angus cow that got out of the pasture and was standing in the middle of the road. I inched around it–and then stopped at the farm to let the farmer know his cow was out. just as i was getting back into my car, another vehicle pulled in behind me and the lady behind the wheel told me my cow was out.
I told her I just told the farmer and she backed up and went forward out of the driveway when her front end seemed to screech and smoke! she got out–I got out –and we watched her car for several seconds before she went to open the hood—I grabbed my fire extinguisher quickly just in case–but nothing caught fire. i waited while she called her hubby, then left. most exciting thing that happened during the run…lol

The commerce department announced Friday morning that it would ban U.S. business transactions with China-owned social apps WeChat and TikTok on Sunday.
US companies would be banned from distributing WeChat and TikTok, meaning Apple and Google would have to remove the apps.
The announcement comes as President Donald Trump is expected to announce Friday whether or not the government will approve a deal for Oracle to take a minority stake in TikTok and become a “trusted technology partner” for the company in the U.S.
It’s unclear if the Commerce Department’s announcement means there’s no possibility of a deal going through before Sunday’s deadline & it could be an aggressive move from the Trump Administration to push for its original intention for TikTok to be fully owned by a U.S. company.
Friday’s announcement from the Commerce Department appears to be enforcing Trump’s original executive order from August 6 that gave TikTok 45 days to sell its U.S. business to a U.S. company or face a ban in the U.S.

I have many family members that did (or now second generation) are doing just that…definitely not a bad life and something I would enjoy …with a good RV driver/mechanic along (that definitely excludes my city-raised hubby!) (Yemen isn’t on the gulf, but it’s on the Arabian peninsula.)

Iraq is embedded w/Iran’s bad guys in country, they’re gonna have to sort that out, so they’re a NO, IMO. Qatar was mentioned as a possibility when deal was 1st announced. It’s all a stay tuned……

As for Yemen and Iraq, it depends on whether the Iranians are embedded in the government, not whether Iran is fighting in that country. As far as I know in both cases (and please correct me if I am wrong), in both cases the government is fighting against Iranian proxies, therefore they’d love to undercut Iran any way they can.
Of course, it’s quite possible that some countries out of the five are not on the Arabian peninsula or in the Gulf; e.g., say, a place like Morocco.

Honestly, we were not all that knowledgeable about coronaviruses (especially the weak ones) BEFORE COVID-19, so I think we’re still just underinformed about this one. I strongly suspect that the other 4 are fairly damaging in many similar ways, and “curable” in similar ways.

I have had pneumonia several times as well as bronchial issues during my 8 decades. I am blessed to have a primary doctor who will order a z-pak for me with no more than a phone call from me saying I have a cold and am afraid it is moving into my chest.

This is actually big news, and means POTUS’ team believe Virginia should be looked at… I’m in a heavy military area of Virginia, and there are several points to be made. Soros money aided bigly in taking state house seats, and in taking several GOP House seats in 2018. but the numerical losses were close in those House seats, and it’s possible to get them back w/ DJT on the ballot.
Another point – Since Obama, many of us turned into “shy” voters regarding yard signs and bumper stickers. Now with Antifa and BLM roaming around our shyness is reinforced. There’s a huge absence of Biden and Trump signs in our area – unusual. IMO, minimal public support for Biden, and patriots like my family who have BLM neighbors living next door.
Virginia could be a sleeper…
Another point I want to make, another way to look at Virginia, and many other states, POTUS only lost Virginia by 5% – around 212,000 votes – he has not lost one bit of support. He would have only gained. So now we’re talking maybe 2-3% pts down… We don’t have McMuffin on the ballot, nor Tim Kaine – Hillary’s running mate and VA senator. Plus gun owners aren’t happy with BabyKiller Northam.
I can now see how they figure these things – worth a rally if you’re only down 2-3 pts.
BTW, from Larry today, who has been cautiously optimistic about the House – he’s counts the seats one by one – and that’s a different game than the presidency. Of course, GOP should be planning on ballot harvesting in California – it’s legal there.
