CoronaVirus has hit my household & impacted all 3 employees to varying degrees. No one is seriously sick, thankfully, but Michigan depredations on liberty & generalized fears of some employers mean it’s likely most of my family will be staying pretty close to home the next couple of weeks.
This could be a blessing in disguise if riots, etc., get out of hand as some of our hunters will be more accessible than usual to help protect the home front. Hopefully it doesn’t get that unruly in the Detroit area, or anywhere else, across our fruited plain!
I started writing this Flep Twitter update the same day I posted #3 with the hope of catching up the stuff missed previously. Well, I am abandoning that long-term goal, leaving what’s already here “as is” & adding in Flep’s recent work (that will happen in #5 now). So newer stuff should be closer to the top of this post but since Twitter doesn’t exactly reflect reverse chronological order it will be done as I find the tweets.

We all miss Flep but he’s “kicking the butt of the universe” (as I like to say chez moi) in election analysis. Hopefully things will go smoothly, Flep will get some down time, & then he’ll get back to his crucial news roundups quickly!!!

You’re welcome. I’m working on his more current stuff, since 10/27 but may have to split up the media tab, which has lots of threads, & the regular tweets. However I’ve gotta take a sleep break so hopefully I’ll get at least the media part done early-ish tomorrow. It’s the part that contains a lot of his election analysis too. Blessings!

I’ve lost the ability to show embedded tweets here too. Have no idea, asked Wolfie, but I can’t find the whitelist button for duck duck go anymore. Just started this week.

My problem started a week ago. On Marica’s site yesterday I seemed to be able to restore the embed of tweets, but no luck here at Q-tree. The whitelist button for duck duck go is eluding me. That’s solved the problem a few months ago – but can’t find it now.
What did you do at MARICA’S THAT RESTORED THE TWEETS’ EMBEDDING? sorry about the caps…

That’s the problem, Valerie, I have no idea. Was fiddling around yesterday & must have done something. but can’t duplicate the effort. Hubby will try to help when he gets a chance. He’s tech knowledgeable, but doesn’t understand the tweet stuff. 🙂
Well speaking w/ Wolfie on the authorship thread he seems to think it has something to do w/ the twitter plug in on Word Press. I just posted Flep #5 & it looks (at least to me) like the tweets might be showing…hmmm…
Probably does have something to do with wordpress and twitter. but they’re still not showing for me here.

here’s the thing with this….ETA could keep heading west and maybe dissipate after slamming central America…or…not.
there is another system getting entangled in with ETA that might also form a gyre effect as ETA turns north…and lingers over water instead of continuing west…and that could develop into yet another threat as it swings back into the Caribbean and back over Cuba, heading north and possibly back into the GoM…and possibly up toward Florida…???

OK, thanks. It rather defeats the purpose of sharing Flep’s tweets if people can’t actually see them at the Q-Tree. One of the main reasons I was doing this was so that those Not on twitter could get a flavor of what Flep thinks is important to share….hmmm…
