I am having computer problems so posted Flep #4 “as is” & repeated the intro here & then I’m only adding in the new material since #4 was being composed. Sorry for any confusion..
CoronaVirus has hit my household & impacted all 3 employees to varying degrees. No one is seriously sick, thankfully, but Michigan depredations on liberty & generalized fears of some employers mean it’s likely most of my family will be staying pretty close to home the next couple of weeks.
This could be a blessing in disguise if riots, etc., get out of hand as some of our hunters will be more accessible than usual to help protect the home front. Hopefully it doesn’t get that unruly in the Detroit area, or anywhere else, across our fruited plain! We heard of a business in a neighboring community, near where some family members & friends live, that is boarding up in anticipation of unrest–unsettling.
I started writing the Flep Twitter update #4 the same day I posted #3 with the hope of catching up the stuff missed previously. Well, now I am abandoning that long-term goal, leaving what’s already there “as is” & adding in Flep’s recent work as this post #5. So newer stuff should be closer to the top of this post but since Twitter doesn’t exactly reflect reverse chronological order it will be done as I find the tweets.
Flep has continued to share his insights in some comments & in at least one further post since I last shared his tweets. Apparently he has given his stamp of approval to sharing his twitter work here at Q-Tree so I hope to continue these posts periodically until he resumes his news roundups.
Here are Flep’s most recent Q-Tree posts:

Here’s Flep’s Twitter timeline where you can hopefully see much of his current work:
I‘ve heard now that twitter is causing problems with embedding the tweets so that they are visible within a post. Thankfully I can still see the tweets while putting the post together. So to aide in making this info more relevant I’m going to add some descriptors below to help us know which of Flep’s material we might want to go view on twitter.
Here is Fleps’s current pinned tweet thread, as of about 2am 11/2/20:
This thread deals with the US election & compares some info between 2016 & 2020
Directly below is a threadreader tweet for the above thread.

This seems to be mostly an analysis of the electorate by age groupings
This is a threadreader for the above thread
These are from within the twitter conversation, starting with Nate Silver & further down Nate Cohn…hmmm! Flep is making waves & getting noticed!
Here’s another Flep thread in the media tab, more on Wisconsin:

Here’s another Flep Thread, PA & Philly upheaval:
I think it’s possible that this last thread is one that I’d already shared, even though the retweet boxes are not green (I’ve been using the retweet feature to assist in keeping track of Flep’s stuff). Since this thread takes us back to Oct 27, when I finished up Flep post #3, this is probably going back far enough in time…I’ll try to put Flep’s other tweets & retweets in a further post.
Well, the election is coming down to the wire so please get out & vote your conscience.
May God Bless America & guide her people into wise choices for their upcoming leaders.
Bravo Valerie this thread came out perfect…
Time to turn on the rally, God bless you…
Glad you can see it. Don’t know what I did any differently though. Shrug? Go Trump!!!!
“Well, the election is coming down to the wire so please get out & vote your conscience. ”
_________
And may your consciences be pro-Trump, each and every one π
YES!!!!
Valerie, ThanQ for all the work you put into this.
You’re welcome Gail.
Hey Wolf, this is very bizarre but I ran across this Flep Twitter post that I created but it’s listed as published by you! In the comments Valerie the author is under your avatar & has your Coyote level…hmmm…
At first I thought you decided to publish my most recent “Flep’s Twitter Travels” post that was never (yet) finished…but I think this Might be the post I actually did at the old Q Tree.
So I don’t know if it’s a glitch or what. Can YOU impersonate an author, since it is YOUR site after all?
For what it’s worth, I’m scrolling back through your authorship tab looking for the post you did that “blew up” the old Q-Tree. That process led to Daughn leaving & me coming on as an author, a very piss-poor trade off to be sure!!!
I was trying to go through the archives calendar function to navigate there more quickly but some of the months only have like One Week of clickable dates…hmmm. I hope that doesn’t mean that All the old Q Tree stuff didn’t make the journey to the new Q Tree…Perhaps it’s a glitch or some busy work that’s not worth your time to address. I just hope that ALL Posts & conversations from the WP Q-Tree made it here to our more free speechified site!
These old-site posts were imported by me to the new site, and JETPACK thinks that makes them mine, but yes – go into them and they are authored by the actual authors! In other ways, the SITE attributes these to the correct authors as well.
Well if you look at the comments on that Flep #5 post you’ll see what I mean about it calling You the author but then calling your avatar “Valerie Curren”…at some point I’ll look up “my” posts & see if any of the other ones do that or if that one was an aberration π It’s no biggie, I just wanted you to know about any unexplained weirdness in case it helps you tweak anything problematic here–NOT trying remotely to drum up Any more work for you!!!
Yeah, this one actually said it was ME!
Easily fixed! Done.
OK thanks! I went to the page to see you got your name back too. I can’t wield your awesome avatar, authority, nor your a–kicking skills!!!
I figured out what it was. I *COPIED* that post once, when I was trying to help with something. It republished that COPY as mine. There are TWO of that #5 post if you do a search on “flep’s twitter travels”.
I made both of them yours! π
OK thanks so much for that. I wonder how I messed up the numbering…hmmm I’ve had the “next” Flep twitter travels post in development but never finished it off as publishable w/ so many other things going on w/ the election etc.
I’m trying to get a Battle Belongs to the Lord post completed in the next day or so…it’s been percolating, but then I get distracted. I’m super thankful to Not be in the regular rotation here for I would surely drop that ball from time to time.
By the way, did you get rid of your post that lead to the website shakeup & ultimately Daughn’s departure? I was searching your author page for that one when I saw the Flep post listed under your authorship? Someone else was wanting to read back about some of those discussions & I was looking for the link for her. Do you perhaps know how to get to it if the post still exists?
As far as I know, all posts came over.
As for the posts surrounding Daughn leaving, I believe they are all there, but I would really advise not picking at that wound, for the sake of your fellow QTreepers. I won’t assist in that endeavor – people here have really had to work at forgiving each other. Resurrecting that fight is beyond unwise, IMO. And right now? Especially bad timing.
I’m sure I could find it, but it’s not smart to dig up, IMO.
OK, thanks for the heads up & appreciate your wisdom there…several conversations in recent days have devolved through various degrees of tension & name-calling & accusations. These are some of the interactions for which DP’s scroll button advice surely applies! These are tough times & the last 2 months has felt nearly interminable…
I don’t know if all the old stuff is actually at the new site, though. I tried to find my first post “luna wolf pack” & couldn’t access w/ multiple searches, name, author, date, nor even in the dashboard.
I had a companion post at my main blog w/ a link back to the original at wqth & it was still available there…
For me as an author the only posts that are currently accessible that way here are the Flep twitter travels ones & the new Q tree test post…so I’m glad that you haven’t apparently pulled the plug on the old wqth site for accessing some of that older stuff…
