USA Today‘s fact checker rated it as false, claiming that Stalin had never said it based on speaking with two history professors at Vanderbilt University who vowed that they never heard of it. One of the professors, who serves as the Director of Undergraduate Russian and East European Studies, ranted that it was, “an example of American right-wing paranoia, active manipulation of public opinion, or outright and fascism”. Truly a quote worthy of Stalin.
But had the ‘fact checker’ and the professors just checked Oxford’s Essential Quotations, they would have found it. You don’t need a PhD or a fact checker title: just a modicum of integrity.

“And you, Comrade Stalin, what do you think of this question?” Kamenev asked Stalin.

“Of the question of capturing the majority of the Party,” Kamanev said.

The quote, despite the attempts to suppress it with Stalinists fact checking Stalinism, is indeed real. But what’s more important is what Bazhanov relates happened after this conversation.
Before this, Bazhanov recalled that, “in most of the Party organizations the majority was not for the Central Committee. I know that in the huge cell of the Central Committee itself, the majority voted against the Central Committee… the Central Committee had lost the majority in the Party organization of the capital city, the most important in the country. The provincial organizations were falling into line with the Moscow one.”
Stalin’s response was to take control of Pravda and fake the results of the votes.

My last resort has been online ordering. I try to order from individual companies that are in America. Failing local and that option, I will resort to Amazon or Walmart.

There was another emission from Biden, where his team was whinging about lack of access to state secrets, and there are wheels turning for the legislatives in several States, where officials finally have realized that there was more to the numbers than should be, that more votes than voters is an immediate indication and proof of non-funny business. False certification of electors is more illegalities, that need to be caught.
The question may be is how much is vitiated by the fraud, some of the worst cities and counties, perhaps entire States, ideally maybe all of it, but then what? This does open a couple different possibities for what will happen next in detail.
The reason for the action being like this slow legal march, with no spectacular and irreversible crossings of Rubicon, or other waterways; no martial law, no catching the thieves before the theft, etc., is that there is supposed to be a reasonably intact Republic, with a legitimate President, afterwards when all the dust has settled. But the time to flip the switch is approaching and must be near.

I agree that we should be able to air our beliefs even though there will be disagreements. (Won’t be the first time) But on the other hand, someone may learn something new. I see this place as a gathering of individuals with different likes, beliefs and ways of speech. That’s the worst thing a girl can hear from her plastic surgeon.
My sister had a roommate in college. I had previously heard that she had cosmetic breast surgery, and finally got around to meeting her. She was nice, and we exchanged pleasantries, but I silently thought “well, she needn’t have bothered, she’d look better with less.”
About a week later, I found out that her surgery had been breast-reduction surgery, and that she’d originally planned to take off 2/3, but chickened-out at the last minute and only took off half.
I cannot begin to imagine the physical and psychological pain she must have constantly experienced before her surgery.

I have long maintained that there is a certain attraction towards and fondness for breasts encoded in our genome — because for a thousands of years, the lack of such would have their progeny starve. I truly believe it’s down in the ROM somewhere.
But this young lady developed early, got a lot, and kept on going — which lead to a lot of unwelcome attention from pervs and fetishists before she was in any position to have wholesome relationships.
And I have known a lot of ladies who had upper back problems….and they were structured like this girl AFTER surgery. I never saw her before surgery, but her physical issues would have to have been severe — upper, lower back, probably gait, ability to rotate, balance, flexibility…..
I suspect I would have concurred with her surgeon when he recommended 2/3……but can very much sympathize with her decision to go with half. When you’ve had to haul that around for so long and had it shape your life, you are cautious about massive changes. Even with the pain it causes you daily.

I taught for 25 years in one of those districts. 22 out of the 25 in a school that might have had 6 white kids out of 500+. The building was old-ish, but the kids lacked for NOTHING. And I mean all supplies provided, laptops, jumbotrons in every room, 2 free meals a day, all manner of after school everything, counselors, mentors AND a sharp, caring staff.
What was lacking? Horses that want the drink. Everyone was lead to the water – daily.

OMG! I just opened up a package our son sent, it had headphones in it. I haven’t used headphones in years because I lost about 70% of hearing in my right ear due to flu maybe 20 years ago. My hearing has improved some over the years, but I thought what the heck, I’ll give them a go. Listened to the Gallic song Wolf posted, and I could hear all the notes with my bad ear. ALL the notes. I’ve been missing tones. They are faint now, but I can hear them! Had to listen to one of my daughter’s songs too, could hear all the notes and the words, again they are faint but I can hear them. So grateful, an unexpected blessing! Tears of joy, and I cry but rarely!!

2020…I know its a trivial thing but its purge time. Way too much stuff in every space. I spent hours trying to get Christmas put away which led to needing another bin which led to having to go through all of kiddos preK, K, and 1st school papers to save just the best. Now ive got to go though all the crafting stuff, then kitchen, then clothing….then donate what isnt tossed.
I dont think ill finish by monday when we start school again.
The world outside is in such disarray, I need my house in 2021 to be calm, cozy, and clear.
I have a donate pile sitting in my living room. I don’t know if the store that I like to donate to is open or not. The pile keeps getting a little bigger.
I have a friend who flea markets…I throw very little out…I save it all for her. some things she sells for 50 cents…but she takes everything…gratefully.
and we get to visit when she comes to pick things up! BONUS!
That’s definitely been one of the “silver linings” of this stay at home mess. My friends tell me they’ve never had such organized closets!
I used to say, I need a snowed-in period of a couple of weeks to sort, toss and organize…and here it is (sans snow.).
In addition to lots of give away piles, going through hundreds of recipe files, cookbooks, etc. I am in a quest to pass along family “treasures” to the younger generation. Nothing very valuable, but several generations old and has sentimental value….I hope. A hand stitched quilt my grandmother made in the 50’s, a couple of Xmas craft items my mother made in the 70’s, a cookie jar that was a wedding present. For my parents, etc. etc. … it’s time to pass them on, after deciding who will continue to treasure them. But it also involves wrapping and shipping and becomes a task too easy to just postpone.
No excuses now…needs to be done.

And, my friends say they aren’t going to worry about cleaning out their attics and house..”let the kids take care of it.” Well, when you don’t have kids, you have to take care of all that yourself….hopefully when you are still able to do it wisely.

Our plan, have the kids in and have them take what they want before the inevitable. Purge all the other stuff and have an executor who is not related!

We have been thinking about this stuff for a long time because we have seen horrible things on both sides of our family.
My husband has never been able to get his own yearbooks from a sibling. And one of his siblings has harbored resentment over another sibling who gave an heirloom to yet another sibling.
The emotional messes are long lasting.
Oh I do agree ( and have seen it up close and personal,) and in conversation with friends they do that for the major stuff to the point of even labeling pieces…it’s just the serious cleaning out…drawers, shelves, linens, tools, etc, etc.
But, even that specific designation of items doesn’t stop the resentment…not at all.

Been going through the home office, which is the mess that has metastasized everywhere around the house. Basically I have to clean it up in order to have the room to clean up the rest of the house into.
One of my longer-term projects (mostly post-move, but some now) is to take all those random pieces of paper that I’ve accumulated for decades — one pagers on growing cymbidiums, or laying out sprinkler systems, or recycling guides — and scanning them. You can reduce a haystack of random paper into a small hard disk. And, face it, if you look in either — in which one are you likely to find it first?
Oh, I like this idea. I know what I’ll be doing this next month.

Steve, when I was a kid, I had one of those little hand-held puzzles with movable numbers contained in a little frame filled w numbered pieces….and one square was empty.
The point was to move the numbers around until they were in the correct sequence. And if it were not for the empty space….
That little puzzle always reminds me of the situation you just described ab cleaning up or organizing…I have the same problem!

Unpacking after a move it definitely comes into play. You’re trying to unpack a box and everything else is in the way, including the furniture. But you can’t get the furniture into place without moving a bunch of the damn boxes.

One thing I did was to take pictures of all of son’s crafts as I can fit multiple pictues on 1 page v. keeping the multiple pages big art piece or drawing or whatever. I even put some pieces together in 1 picture. then tossed them. Hard to do but had to as at that age the piles of projects were overwhelming – esp. since we homeschool. I save a few but not very many.
I need to go through and get rid of finished school work through the early elementary years. But each completed notebook, lapbook, workbook, folder full of papers, represents so much sweat and tears … and memories for him too! ha The handwriting, mathwork sheets … why keep them now? If I am audited by the state it won’t be for that long ago, right?
Our project? Selling all (most) of the completed curriculum and curriculum we never got to do or did part of and changed mid stream because it wasn’t working for us for whatever reason. garage looks like a used curriculum shop. Hard to do as I hate to admit we won’t ever get to some of it or it has so many memories. And a lot of work. Preschool and K curriculum can be so much prep work. Did Confessions of a Homeschooler Pre K and laminated everything! Going to save that one for the future grands as I put too much work into that to let it go.
Great job to you cleaning up. I have been lesson planning big time this week and planning ahead for next summer and school year. Came up with yet another way to plan and track our day. knock on wood this one works. There are already web sites, amazon, consignment sales + ebay, amazon and craisglist. A physical business would be challenging (not that it couldnt’ be done and not that I haven’t thought about it) I have friends you do a rental for the year or even by the semester which is a good idea.
Just need to sell ours and move on

Given new developments in the family situation…I want to get this done, ASAP. The problem is I get a void cleared out, and two days later somebody has filled it in.
Oh, Boy do I know that well. I managed to keep up with Hubby, the packrat slob, until he came down with a tick disease… SLOW years long recovery. After that I mangled my knee badly and it took over two years to heal. At that point I totally lost control. The house is STUFFED! The storage buildings are STUFFED! And my health makes it very hard to tackle the problem as I wish. (Asthmatic, with arthritic back and knees DOES NOT make a good house keeper.)
So I am trying to tackle the problem ONE ROOM at a time and threaten Hubby if he dares to mess the cleaned room up again. Bedroom first in hopes the Asthma subsides.
During our early years I went to the extreme of putting his mess in garbage bags and filled the back of my pick up. I told him if he wanted the stuff, PUT IT AWAY or I was going to toss it! The lesson did not sink in…

it was an ugly old loveseat and my son apparently dumped it between the cushion and the back of the loveseat–effectively hiding it with the cushion till the next day when i went to work–he cleaned it best he could, then stuffed dryer sheets under the cushion and i didn’t notice till the following week when i did some serious cleaning.
neither kid fessed up at the time…and since both hated my chili it was hard to tell…LOL…

A “plaid” is technically the garment itself, not the pattern, which is called a “tartan.” A plaid is a big piece of fabric which is worn as a kilt, but so big that it has the part that drapes over the shoulder as a sort of shawl. Without that part, it is just a kilt, like what is worn in this photo.

To experimentally corroborate the possibility of viral retro-integration, we describe evidence that SARS-CoV-2 RNAs can be reverse transcribed in human cells by reverse transcriptase (RT) from LINE-1 elements or by HIV-1 RT, and that these DNA sequences can be integrated into the cell genome and subsequently be transcribed.

Great questions, and NOW you’re getting to the heart of the matter. Some of which goes over the line into X-Files territory. But let’s set that stuff aside for a while.
The true currency of evolution is survival. A fruitful universe is impossible without survival of life processes, and “life will find a way”. I see all that at a very meta level. Remember – the universe is fundamentally “pro-life” against a background of CHAOS that functions in some ways both pro-life and anti-life.
Viruses which get into the host’s PROCESSES to make new copies of themselves are guaranteed survival, but only as long as the host’s “police” processes don’t get rid of them.
But if a virus can get into the hosts BLUEPRINTS, and leave phony blueprints to MAKE MORE VIRUS, obviously that virus pulled off a real coup. This is a survival “feature”. Evolution is likely to find this trick, be it first-order evolution (discover through survival – i.e. materially distributed intelligence) or second-order evolution (intelligent beings “assisting” evolution).
I really should not put quotes on assisting, because per natural law it’s unambiguous to me that intelligent beings who promote life by whatever means ARE assisting and automatically authorized to do so, which is a real splodeyhead realization. And yet also per natural law (see Founders), those who value truth over deception are authorized to QUESTION that authority. Hence the Great Awakening. But that’s getting X-Files – let’s drop back to “easy to swallow”.
Our DNA, like that of almost every other species, is littered with viral sequences. This was a real shock when I first heard it. Obviously that stuff came from somewhere. So genetic incorporation of viral sequences is real, it’s common, it’s old, and it likely causes problems. Cue Judy Mikovits, who is not always right, but was right about the big picture on a lot of things. Viral incorporation is real, it causes problems beyond creating working viruses, and ignoring the long-term stuff is not good. The Cabal wants us stupid on it. Probably a lot of reasons held by a lot of different people.
There is a lot of room here to educate the masses, let’s just say.
We have been looking at gene therapy. Supposedly these new vaccine techs are “failed gene therapy” platforms. Well, failure is not typically permanent. Somebody smart realized that vaccines were the socially workable path to get us understanding and on our way to working genmod (genetic modification).
Motives. People have them.
SO – are viruses “natural” or “something else”? Cue cabal shills for the former, cue Scully and Mulder for the second.

We have been alerting regulators to Horizontal Gene Transfer – The Hidden Hazards of Genetic Engineering [1] on many occasions since the late 1990s [2-4] (Genetic Engineering Dream or Nightmare, ISIS Publication) when the regulators and their scientific advisors had denied vehemently that horizontal gene transfer could happen, and assumed mistakenly that transgenic DNA, like all DNA, would be rapidly degraded once out of the cell.
In a review published in 1998 [5], we presented extensive evidence that DNA persists in all environments and can indeed be taken up by cells of many species throughout the living world. We called for a public enquiry on the extent to which the poorly regulated discharge of transgenic organisms and transgenic nucleic acids into the environment could have been responsible for the increased emergence of new viral and bacterial diseases and antibiotic and drug resistance since genetic engineering began in the mid 1970s. Horizontal gene transfer and recombination is the main route for generating new pathogens and spreading antibiotic and drug resistance, and genetic engineering is nothing if not greatly facilitated horizontal gene transfer and recombination.
Regulators frequently dismiss our concerns with remarks such as “The safety of nucleic acids is widely accepted. Both RNA and DNA are part of all food products that we consume. “ [6] (USDA FONSI for Transgenic Poplars Absurd & Dangerous, SiS 38). The implication is that transgenic DNA (or RNA) is no different from natural nucleic acids, and hence no more likely to spread by horizontal gene transfer.
There is no doubt that transgenic DNA is different from natural DNA; not only does it contain new combinations of genes, but also new synthetic genes that have never existed in billions of years of evolution: new coding sequences, promoters and other non-coding regulatory sequences that boost gene expression to abnormally high levels.
Furthermore, there are indeed reasons to suspect transgenic DNA is more likely to transfer horizontally and recombine than natural DNA (see Box adapted from [7] Living with the Fluid Genome, ISIS publication), and this has been borne out by accumulating evidence, even though dedicated research is still extremely rare.

It seems like these people can not stand to allow one bit of fairness to leak into the process.

Gone is any mention of 2hrs to debate or 5 minutes per speaker. In fact the whole section seems illegible as to what it’s meaning or purpose is. It wasn’t this way a week ago. It appears as if someone has literally gone in and changed the code.

American Thinker article about the “turn of events in PA”. They state that 200,000 more votes than voters were found by legislatures auditing the SURE system. I read somewhere yesterday (iirc) that SOS Bookvar said the reason for the discrepancy was several counties had not loaded their info up to the SURE system as yet. Presumably the SURE System is a DoS function–so how would she know the totals match if SHE doesn’t have all the facts either? How could the election be certified without all the data? Widely reported PA has over 9 million registered voters. Was a big news story back in the fall when their registration deadline hit and they had their new totals.

What concerns me is if husband and son take train in and then they close, they can’t take the train out in mid afternoon as planned. Don’t want them to get stuck in DC.

One idea is to use PDJT’s reasoning – turn ones mask-less shopping into a “political protest”, to aim straight to the heart of free speech violations. IMO, it may not work, and one likely will have to interact with the manager … but it’s a start.
The other idea I have comes from watching a video of a woman attending her city Council’s public meeting (coulda been the town / city’s Board of Health, but either way, my point’s the same).
She hand-delivered a document to each and every Board Member, putting them all on notice.
The key here is “knowingly”. Once the Board has been served info contradicting their specious basis for the lockdowns, distancing, and masking, then they cannot deny that the information was provided to them, and IMO they are “on the hook”, so to speak, for ignoring it.
In fact, I believe it is their OBLIGATION to be aware of the info … whether or not they read it!
I’ve spent plenty of time archiving offline data and evidence that masks are unhealthy for EVERY individual who wears one, especially so for those who must wear them for hours on end, or who must engage in strenuous physical activity while masked.

The thing that bothers me about THIS video is all the Tiffany Dovers listed from so many areas when he does the death record search. Something seems “off” about that. Are they all dead? This guy does NOT click through to the full death record. It’s just a name, an age, and related names. IMO the list he gets on the search cannot be assumed to all be dead. The Clerk backdated a letter to me on December 17th, but waited until December 23rd to email it, despite multiple update requests and correspondence between the Clerk’s Office and myself. Supreme Court Rule 39.3 requires the Clerk to give Pro Se parties “due allowance”. This due allowance thing apparently works the exact opposite way it’s supposed to. Trust me on this.
In his judicial opinion, Clerk Scott Harris overruled multiple United States Supreme Court precedents allowing citizens to name States in actions that were not barred by the Eleventh Amendment, when the litigants did not ask for monetary damages or injunctive relief, just like in my case. Not only is the Clerk’s ruling illegal, it’s obviously wrong and counter to prior precedents of the Court. He has effectively overruled multiple SCOTUS decisions. This is usurpation, and it’s in your face America.

We have dozens of Representatives who will object to the Electoral votes on the sixth, and only one Senator.
Can the SAME Senator sign on the MULTIPLE objections from different Representatives?

(Oh, yes and about four quadrillion renderings of the initials for the European Central Bank.) Designs only a multinational bureaucrat could love. At least the coins (on the non-insipid side) offer some relief with countries allowed to put their own motifs on them.
Yep. The EU notes are a disaster. I really miss the old DM notes, which were beautiful artwork. I still have the different ones (OK, 100 and on down). Other countries’ notes and coins were pretty nice, too. I used to travel all through Europe in the 1980s and 1990s, a lot of it driving, and have lots of change and bills. The coins with the hole in the middle, the Austrian small coins that seem like plastic, the French precursor to the Euro which was actually a pretty coin, and so on.
Really was much nicer when all the different countries were their own masters, so to speak. Now we just get “Tower of Babel v2.0” (Vigilant Citizen has an interesting article on them – they have a second, twin building to the one in Brussels down in Strasbourg, that’s used IIRC only for a week per year… seems the French had some sort of leverage there)…
Yes I visited in the early 90s and ended up bringing back 50 DM and 50 swiss francs (still good) and 50 Dutch Guilder notes, as well as smaller denominations, and of course the DMs and Guilders are worthless now. Poland had an interesting variety but it was approximately 14,000 zlotys to the dollar (at the time conveniently 1DM was close to 10,000 Zl). I think Poland actually lopped off four zeroes at one point.
Deutsche Marks can be turned back into some of the Bundesbank branches (not sure which) as the BB wants to get them all out of circulation. BUT, a lot of folks are still hoarding them, in hopes of a GEREXIT (DEXIT?). Would be nice. Still stinging at the devaluation after all these years.

I am trying to understand …
We know (at least they have said so now) that there will be both Representatives and Senators that will object to particular state’s EC votes on Wednesday.
After they object, the House and Senate will seperate and debate then vote.
The House will vote in favor of accepting the results because Dems have the majority (even if Every GOP voted against).
In the Senate it would take Every/Almost Every (depending on 1/5 election results which probably won’t be in by 1/6) GOP voting to reject that State’s EC votes and we already know that that some GOP have said they will accept the EC votes.
If the Senate and the House will accept them, what is the hope?
GA’s may get rejected because of so much evidence and I could see that being a swamp move – reject 1 or 2 states in the Senate to please the base but claim not enough evidence on the other states to do so and Biden still has the win.
There is no hope of the House rejecting the EC votes with a Dem majority, right?
So what is the hope with the House certain to have a majority to accept and the Senate already have GOP Senators saying they will accept the EC votes?
Is there another step in the process I am missing? Do we think there is enough pressure on the Senate to reject, all GOP Senators voting against accepting? Will the House GOP be united against accepting on the contested states?
We support this 100% either way and will be in DC and think it is good for the evidence to be brought before the public … but what are the actual possibilities and how will they work?

Rank Amateur Opinion here. Yes, not likely something they are going to win, but I don’t think that has been behind this. This is more geared to educating the public and the POTUS is just going to snatch it away and then tell them to sue him if they want it back (maybe far fetched). In the meantime there is still movement to get states to accept their alternate slate of electors. GA could well be there soon, as could possibly another couple states. If one falls more can can fall. Between switching to the alternate slate of electors and decertifying the vote in certain states Trump could either pull ahead or the electoral votes fall below 270. Meanwhile the much awaited for DNI report is over due and other cases are still pending to be heard in some courts. One thing I’m certain is Trump is not going to accept the fraud and in the end it might be him and us vs. all the rest. Also worse case scenario is Biden is in but severely damaged by the fraud. That too is a very important objective. Not to mention the effect on the GA run off if republican senators walk away with it. Calls all into question.

I have been going over major airline schedules into DC [Dulles (IAD), Reagan (DCA), and Baltimore (BWI)] on the 5th and 6th.
THEY HAVE CHANGED THE SCHEDULED ARRIVALS!
Not only have they CUT the number of arrivals into DC on the 5th and 6th, they have CHANGED the arrival times.
You can ARRIVE into DC/Baltimore IN THE AM on the 4th…or on 7th and afterwards…
….but NOT the 5th or the 6th. Only late afternoon arrivals on the 5th or 6th.
The entire ramp at IAD will be DEAD up to 3 PM on the 5th and 6th….and ONLY on the 5th and 6th. Thousands of airline and airport workers will be sitting idle on the mornings of the 5th and 6th!
And just to drive the point home…
NOTE: this is ONLY for domestic arrivals into DC, not international arrivals. And it’s not just one airline…it’s ALL of them.
Go look for yourself.
Try any airline and just try getting into one of these three DC airports anytime in the AM on the 5th or 6th. Then look for an AM arrival on the 7th or afterwards.

I had my flight canceled while at the Airport. Engine trouble they said.
I found a Hilton Hotel got great discount free breakfast and half price for dinner.

To get into Reagan was outrageously expensive, so I considered Baltimore. Then I heard they might cancel the trains.
My doc is ok with me flying, if I think I can stand the mask that long, but the flights are just not there! What is going on in this country?

If you don’t make the 6th, the 7th and likely later days will still be hot and we will need replacements for those that had to go home.
Philadelphia to Washington DC isn’t a bad drive if you can snag a rental car or caravan. Additionally, it’s very easy to take Amtrak from Philly to DC on a normal day, but as others have cautioned, that might get shut down as well.

Not only have they changed the arrival times on the 5th and 6th, they have cut the number of available flights going into DC….only on those specific dates.
So….while there normally would be, say, 5 flights to DC from ATL on a given day, now there is only 1 or 2….just on those two days.
Have to wonder how much ownership, direct or hidden, of the airlines is CCP… or under CCP influence (read: duress)…
Really irritating that the city of DC is under DEMONRAT control, and much of it is effectively a slum. Then again, Berlin is a cesspool, and has pretty much always been one. The musical “Cabaret” was not too far off the mark; indeed Berlin was far more decadent than what they portrayed…
I just went on Priceline looking for the 5th-7th from (pick a city) St Louis to BWI. Very few flights, no non-stops at all, ALL afternoon departures except for two I think – and prices through the roof. There were a couple over $1000. On freaking Priceline.

Over here in (formerly) beautiful downtown Deutschland (at least in B-W), we’re in lockdown, with an 8:00PM to 5:00AM curfew, with fireworks disallowed except from your own lot, and sales of fireworks (usually allowed from 29th-31st December) forbidden.
Having said that, the people here did a big F-U to Merde-Kuh, sort of a smaller version of what LA did on the Fourth of July. No idea where they got all the fireworks, but they’ve been going on since about 19:00, and it’s after midnight and they’re still going. My son heard a couple of them without his hearing aids, which means they were over 100-105dB!
(Folks had better stop with that, or they’ll be as hard of hearing as him!)…

On a positive note:
I have an old barn cat (early 20s) I cooked two 20+ lb turkeys recently then made soup. I took a lot of the meat and other stuff off the bones after making bone broth and set it aside for the cat. Well for a couple of weeks, especially this last week he has been getting 1/2 turkey leavings and 1/2 wet cat food. With the first turkey, his appetite started increasing. This last turkey I included a lot of fat. Darned if that cat hasn’t filed out in a WEEK and started looking like a normal cat instead of 1/2 starved. Also his appetite increased dramatically. I wonder if they applied ‘fat is BAD’ to cat food too?
Despite getting fed all he would eat four times a day he WAS looking kinda like this with the sunk-in in front of the hips.
Sometimes the small victories mean the most.
God is always watching, and if he isn’t, his angels are.
Coming up with things that actually work to keep my animals healthy has been interesting. I found the feed for elderly horses (Equine Senior) is total crap and so I came up with my own formula that seems to work quite well.
I’m shocked, I tell you. Shocked!

I had a cat that was 20 looked thin no matter how much she ate. About 2 weeks before she died she perked up and I thought she was going to live for ever but not so.
I am hoping I found something that will help him. At least he is enjoying his last days. My young cat brought him a ‘nice’ Christmas gift. I almost stepped on the 1/2 eaten rat he was munching on. 😬

I give my dogs bone broth. They love it. Need to try my cats on it.
I figure the meat and fat he is getting is full of bone broth since it is kind of wet.
BTW, thanks for reminding me of bone broth. I am going to make some (without the spices) just for him. I always add warm water to his food especially in the winter so I do not chill him and he stays hydrated.
You have a farm … we are city people who moved to the country a few years ago.
Property came with a feral cat that lives in the garage. We bought her a heater that we turn on any time it gets below ~40 degrees. Outdoor heater that we put up in the rafters and made her a pallet of old blankets. We were too city to igonre the outdoor cat. I know – silly city slickers! ha
We have other cats show up for a little while every winter and then move on to wherever. They eat the food we leave for garage kitty and find a place to sleep. Have even found the visiting cats sleep up in the rafters. Running a stray cat hotel out there. Yep – we are a soft touch.
Sounds like you take good care of your animals for them to live so long.
I was born in NYC and Hubby in Boston. The Merck vet manual sits on the kitchen table and I have a bookcase of animal care books.
I am so glad you found something for him! My cat who lived to be 25 or so never did get thin. I was so grateful, because they look so pitiful. I hope your kitty lives a long time.
I am very happy I finally found something that seems to work for him. I have packets of bones in the freezer so I will boil those up and start adding bone broth and meat to his rations. (My frozen soup is full of spices.)
Broths are mainline nutrition. Just be careful and don’t crack your bones. The marrow collects and stores heavy metals.
