After the events of yesterday, I am now accelerating my plan to leave this blue prison state and find a rural homestead in a red state. This was already one of my goals in 2021, but has now taken on greater urgency. No more procrastinating. Time I would have spent on Q stuff or reading the news is now going to be spent toward this goal. I don’t know how this will impact my posting here just yet, but if my posts slow down for awhile or I’m out of the loop, that’s the reason why. It’s nothing against the wonderful community here, and it’s not doomfagging. I’m just done putting this goal on hold.

I told everybody that Twitter not only studies their users deeply – they give their data to the Soviet Democrats.
Twitter knows what people DELETE before they hit send. They know where people’s ALINSKY FEARS BEGIN. Thus, they KNOW if their demonstrative bannings and suspensions are WORKING on people. And by people I mean REPUBLICAN politicians.
This stuff is NEVER talked about openly – even in those leaked Twitter meetings, Jack Dorsey only speaks in bureaucratic generalities. But Twitter has the capability to know who is intimidated by their actions and who is not.
NOW – in my opinion, only politicians BANNED FROM TWITTER are worthy now.

Do the math, GOP. If you persist on Twitter and have not been kicked off, you’re on the other side in all but name.
All the more reason to get in the habit of typing out your comments in Notepad or word processing program of your choice, and then copy & paste over to the comment box when ready. Not only do you avoid the Big Tech snoops (Twitter’s not the only one doing this), but your comment doesn’t get lost forever if there’s a glitch while posting it.

Has had to do that on occasion when on certain sites. You can tell someone doesn’t like what your about to say, normally because of what you said/typed before. Site freezes. becomes difficult to type in the comment box and then you post if they allow you, and next it doesn’t show up or it’s immediately flagged. Sometimes it’s a program responding to certain words but sometimes it seems more like a moderator is paying you mind. So yeah, technique to get around that has always been copy from a separate program, then dash in and post. But they often still flag and freeze your comment not showing it to others.
If anyone used to use ICQ to chat you could opt to let people see what you were typing before you hit send. Or in other programs you can see that they are “typing”. So the ability has always been there.
I noticed this happening on Reddit years ago in certain wrongthink subreddits. If you tried typing a comment in the comment box, it would intentionally slow down your typing and intentionally add typos. It’s partly the reason why I got in the habit of typing comments out in Notepad. Not sure if it’s still happening because I stopped visiting there years ago.
It happens here. To me. Frequently. I get a keyboard takeover. It adds words while I’m typing, I have to keep erasing, backing up, starting over. When I put in a space, it stops, and I continue until the next line, it starts over again. Happened this morning during POTUS’ speech. COMMIE ASSHOES!!🤬

My little snarky contribution here (and my maternal g’ma hailed from Oklahoma)….The Wizard of Oz convinced us that the entire state was flat bleah with occasional tornadoes….while Arkansas was beautifully forested wooded hills. In reality, there are nice places in Oklahoma and Arkansas has tornadoes up the wazoo.

Actually, most of the states experience tornadoes from time to time.
We get them here in OK for sure…but they are survivable if you pay attention to the weather, and either take cover or jump in your vehicle and drive away from the path.
The Hermitage (near Nashville) recently had tornadoes that took down trees from Jackson’s day, and Georgia has had horrific ones not too long ago. But too much of cultural awareness has been driven by The Wizard of Oz and BS about Oklahoma.
Tornadoes are a factor that can be put on a spreadsheet and analyzed with other factors to make an informed decision. If you just touch the word and flinch away without understanding, your decision won’t be optimal.
Apparently Florida has the same issue with…wait for it, not hurricanes…but alligators.
I was looking at property there (thinking I might be taking a job there), and I made a quip about finding an alligator in the back yard. The realtor said “let me address that” and went on a long spiel about how rare it was and how it really wasn’t all that dangerous.
My thought bubble actually was that it would be kinda cool to have that happen (as long as the beastie wasn’t sunning himself right in front of the garage door keeping me from going to work).
Alligators and birds are the only surviving members of a branch called the “archosaurs” (some include turtles, because the DNA evidence leaves you with a situation where you cant quite identify closest relatives). The dinosaurs were also part of this branch, and in fact birds descended from a branch of the dinosaurs–so they are actually the one branch of dinosaurs that survived the events of 65 Ma. I’ll sometimes have issues with birds causing mischief (like trying to build a nest on my chimney, or falling down it), and I tell people I had “archosaur issues” knowing well that in Florida that could be very interesting idneed.
JMO, If you are ‘lucky’ enough to have the space, and can keep the gators contained..

Actually, just about all the states between the mountain ranges are Tornado Alley. We have enough in the way of warning systems in place, that getting underground if one actually comes by is not a problem.
It may be a bit of a CPA stereotype, but build a spreadsheet. There are only 50 states, and a spreadsheet can help you winnow through things rapidly. How many are blue? How many have nasty tax systems or pension overhangs? How many are in the right USDA grow zone? — North Dakota sounds nice until you discover the only things that grow outside are lichens. How many have earthquakes, tornadoes, floods, hurricanes? How many are freakishly expensive? How many have few jobs?
I’m not just recommending this…..it’s what I did when I determined that I had to leave California. Once I had a certain number of states, however, I changed focus — I knew that I wanted to live in a suburban area. One where I could drive in to urban amenities within a reasonable timeframe while not being stuck in a city. Not one where the closest Walmart was four hours away and hospitals routinely use helicopters — which would be fully rural.
As it turns out, there are tools to find these. You can start correlating specific areas to specific levels of engagement to cities — https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Metropolitan_Statistical_Areas .
You can then build another spreadsheet to screen these (in the states you’ve already screened) against various random criteria. As an example, there are only 200 medical schools in the US. If you live in the suburbs of an MSA that has a medical school, your healthcare will generally be less expensive than elsewhere.
If you screen your MSAs against “Whole Foods” locations, (even if you don’t shop at Whole Paycheck), you can assess your location’s access to gourmet cheese.
You can screen areas for power companies, cellular networks, or railroad connections — choose your criteria and build your spreadsheet. It doesn’t cost much to do your homework, and it will likely improve your outcome.
There are, BTW, only 392 MSA’s.

But under IRV, the voters all get to choose their second choice, and provided the RINO is hated by A’s supporters more than B is and also hated more by B’s supporters more than A is, it would work out as follows: The first round, RINO 40% A 30% and B 30%. The loser is dropped if no one gets a majority, let’s say B did fractionally worse than A. The votes for B are tossed, but those ballots are consulted to find out who those voters’ second choices were. Figure 25 percentage points liked A better than RINO and 5 percentage points liked the RINO better. Those votes are added to the totals for RINO and A, now A is at 55 percent and RINO is at 45 percent; A wins.
To my mind, today, any discussion of elections and election strategy is impossible to consider.

Heh. First you try to silence the critics…..until your walls are overwhelmed. Then you try to silence the ability to criticize.
After yesterday’s shock — when the theft ended up well and truly completed — then I started thinking of how many inconsistencies and strange behavior has been seen in the run-up to this.
Numbers that didn’t add properly, the whole impeachment-nonsense, things said and not said by Trump and others. Actions that don’t make much sense on the face of it, except maybe for some kind of paranoia. Acts that look like vengeance yet serve as signaling. And of course all the symbolism.
Like an old analog design guru said: make measurements and record amount of funny.
Easy when trying to fix a radio or an old car or something that operates according to well-known and immutable physical principles.
But so do people and governments, although the underlying laws are less transparent, these do not affect observation. And there is and has been quite a bit of «funny» apparent. That would mean that the entire picture isn’t in view. And that there are wheels that were set in motion and are still turning.
And then I saw this post here, from Vox Day, and some puzzle pieces clicked into place.
Yes, the theft had to be completed. The shoplifter has had to leave the store without paying. It all has to be done by the book. No short-cuts, no premature actions, nothing out of legal and temporal order. Cart behind the horse where it should be.
So now it will be off to practice, practicing saying NO and stick to it. In all kinds of useful ways.

QAnon and the Great Awakening
Hello, my first post here…
We know for absolute certain that Q was never a larp. There’s way too many Q proofs and hat tips from the likes of Trump, Scavino, Pompeo and Flynn etc.
So, with that said, and in view of what happened today, I only see 3 possibilities:
1) Q, Trump, Scavino, Flynn, Pompeo etc are all deepstate agents participating in a massive scam/psyop, for who knows exactly what reason.
2) All those people are patriots, and there was a plan, but the plan has failed and perhaps patriots didn’t have as much control as they thought.
3) The plan is still unfolding and patriots are still in control.
Personally, I discount number 1. If the deepstate were always in control it doesn’t make any sense that they wouldn’t have installed Hillary and instead woken up millions of people to who they are.
So, for me it’s between 2 and 3.
Maybe I’m hopelessly optimistic, but I’m still leaning towards 3.
Trump seems to have ‘given up’ way too easily. He seems not to have played any of his ‘Trump Cards’ yet. He’s never conceded and keeps insisting ‘the best is yet to come’. We all know there’s absolutely no way that life could possibly get better under Biden.
So don’t give up yet folks. It may seem hopeless (and maybe it is). But I have a sneaking suspicion that it’s not over yet and that the Trump Card has yet to be played.

Historically, currently and every other way I can think of, I am unaware of any example where Communists have upgraded detention facilities for the comfort of their victims (e.g., the reported upgrades to facilitate the more elderly inmates).

Well, the pee-pee dossier was definitely created for a different purpose. It came out of a bunch of anons on 4chan “punking” a guy who was trying to be one of them but was actually a troll. The plot was to create this tale (I forget who it was purportedly about) that was full of salacious material and “leak” it on the threads, intending for him to pick it up and run with it like a breaking story. Thus embarrassing himself when the anons revealed the proofs that they had created it and Big Fool swallowed it hook line and sinker. Thus tarnishing him forever on the chans.
I read it on 4chan at least a month before it was in the newspapers as some sort of intel. My first reaction was laughter because I didn’t think anybody was so naive as to believe it was real intel. Boy was I wrong!
Solid #3 for me. #1 makes no sense for the reason stated by the author (among other things). On the contrary, I think disinformation agents push #1 heavily to create doubt and uncertainty among people.

I have been checking the video channels of various people to see how they would try to cover their tracks, for getting everything so wrong about what would happen today (the 20th).
When I got to the following video on Simon Parkes’ bit-chute channel (Carlie Ward, Simon Parkes, David Nino Rodriguez and Tiana Islam), Charlie Ward, who says he currently lives in Spain, said that the traitor inauguration was broadcast live in Spain at 7am local time:

I certainly don’t expect the MSM to cover this kind of story, and if they did, they would just call it a conspiracy theory.
Spain is a nation of 47 million people.
Something like this cannot be kept hidden with that kind of exposure, too many people would know.
There are likely people HERE who are living in Spain right now, or who have family or close friends, someone they know personally and trust.

Simon’s blog and that video were the first thing I checked this morning. When Ward said that, I expected to get precise details and corroboration. It did not happen immediately, and that was all I needed to know. And his reading about the ridiculous theory that Trump will be sworn in as the 17th president (or whatever) was enough.
The videos are typically two or three of them talking and saying nothing specific. Repeating stuff from others, then spinning with details to come. They are no better then visiting a psychic who just plays off info you give them to read your mind. Confirmation bias in spades.
As to the inauguration early video. Simple, did anyone in DC watch it live? Pretty easy to prove.
I liked Simon a lot, was wary of Ward from the start.

OK, so — sink update.
Today was mostly a “bye” on the sink — it’s trash day, I was under the sink yesterday, I do have other things going on in my life….
But I did go out and get replacement hoses for the totally icky corroded ones in the master bath and the merely short ones (AFAIK) in the hall bath. I (of course) took an old hose with me to shop, and it said it was 1/2″ pipe thread on both the faucet and stopcock sides. That seems to be the same as 1/2″ FIP to 1/2″ FIP.
The stopcocks face up, and the faucet ends face down, but the hoses get stiffer as they get old and the sink wrench tool wants about an 8″ straight section for easy action. I figured that I could get a hose anywhere between 36″ and 42″ and go stopcock up / roll out / loop under stopcock / roll in / go straight up to faucet. That would enable me to get a nice long straight run.
The original hoses were a paltry 20 inches and permanently hardened into corkscrews, which caused me a bunch of grief. They weren’t such a pain when I installed them 20 years ago.
The bad news is that Home Depot’s longest 1/2″ FIP-FIP hoses were 30″. So I’m going to try to make those work.
So, to look forward to on the morrow (Th) — stack a bunch of dive weights on top of the (dry) faucet to keep it from jumping out of the sink wrench, lie down in the slot, use the wrench to remove the faucet hold-downs, extract from slot, pull old faucet and clean the site. put new faucet in place, put silicon on gasket widget, lie down in the slot, thread on new hold-downs, tighten, extract from slot, clean excess silicon. That’s a day (and allows the silicon to dry).
Next day (F), lie down in the slot, hoses on bottom of new faucet, extract from slot. Attachment of hoses to stopcocks can be done right-side up without being in the $^%@$^$# slot. Turn on the stopcocks, check for leaks, and be done with this project.
Then the Fiancee gets to chase me around while she does whatever she pleases regardless of what I’m trying to do.

It did happen. I have three desktops and it was the same on all of them. Had I not been on line at the time it happened it would have passed unnoticed. I was posting on here, left it for a short while, when I came back it timed out. That’s why I started checking various other sites, and got the same results on what could be termed “the usual suspects”. Imagine if 99% are working normally and certain ones just time out, one would just assume it was the site that had gone down.
By reaching those sites by other means, at the exact time that they could not be reached by the normal means, points to something that is concerning, devious and bloody annoying.
That it happened in the early hours between approximately 01:00 and 03:00 (UK time) makes me think it could have been a test run when most of the UK would have been abed.
I tried to Western Union money yesterday and got an ‘access denied to this server’ notice. I tried a restart of PC…reconnecting to my router. Did not work.
Not until I pulled the plug on my router and plugged it back in could I then use WU. All other sites were working. What was it that WU security firewall saw that required a cold start of my router….while leaving all other internet traffic untouched?
My internet was also running sluggish yesterday with a 400m/bit connection. I know I am being watched here in Germany…my social media interaction is proof of it.
I tried switching my router off, waiting a bit then back on but it didn’t work for me.

And perhaps this is why SCOTUS denied all motions to expedite yesterday. While expedition was denied, it’s important to note that SCOTUS did not dismiss the actions brought by President Trump, Lin Wood or Sidney Powell as being moot. Why didn’t SCOTUS dismiss all of the election cases as being moot? It’s a fair question. The answer must be that determinations in those cases can be used as evidence in a quo warranto action.
The pending election actions at SCOTUS do not require expedition at this time, because quo warranto can be used to oust a usurper only after they take office. This is also why these cases aren’t moot.

The theory I’m seeing floated, which seems reasonable to me, is that Pres. Trump knew that any such action on his part would only be seen as his using force to “steal” the election because he “lost.” And the use of military force while he was in office would only have caused more trouble.
With him in office, Trump Derangement Syndrome reigned. The Left lost their minds, basically, and criticized him and blamed him for everything. With him gone, that factor is missing and they have to look at things more objectively.
But I agree with you that we need to see a plan of action, ASAP, before too much damage is done.

Just went to Simon’s blog and he has put up a new video.
He admits that people are angry and disappointed, but his dishonesty is classic.
He says people are angry at him for defending Trump, and if they want to continue to be angry, they can jump off the Trump train. Oh, and in two months or so you will see that Biden will be removed.
The thought occurred to me before, and I think it more probable, that Simon’s “sources” are the Remote Viewers Art Bell used to have on his program. That explains both how Simon can seem so sincere and be totally unreliable.
But his classic dishonesty in the beginning is IMO proof enough of his dishonest nature. We are not disappointed because he was defending Trump. We are disappointed at having fallen for his scam.
I’m all for videos encouraging Patriots to keep the faith and continue the fight; however, the last thing that we need now is more “in-the-know” folks.
Let’s just work with the premise of their being a behind-the-scenes plan. Why on earth would specific info be revealed to this person….for him to share with the internet….where everyone…including the bad guys….can see it? Makes no sense.

I think there is some validity to that, and that it is human nature to get our hopes up and then to shoot the messenger and cast blame if things don’t pan out.
If remote viewers were his source, how would he know what parts of their information were too secret to reveal? In other words, what he says sounds exactly to me as if he has a source(s) who knows insider information and reveals some of it to him, but he can’t reveal all of it to the public. Could it all be BS? Of course. But whether I believe him and get my hopes up is on me, not him.
This is why I think these guys are being used to put out disinformation. Who is feeding that disinformation and why is the question.
What is said about the past from these people is more likely to be true than what is given about the future.
The people running this op are not going to give away the plan and the options they have depending on how the other side reacts and maneuvers.

Once these clowns approved gun laws, even though the 2A clearly says, Shall Not Be Infringed, it was pretty much down hill from there.
The biggest flaw in the originally drafted Constitution is that there is no “or else” clause.
As an example, Article I, Section 9 states (among other things): “No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed.”
And the natural question arises — “well, obviously it can eventually be held to be unconstitutional…..but that’s it?”
How ’bout, “every legislator who votes for such bill or law, every executive that signs such bill or law; every court that entertains such bill or law; and every officer that attempts to enforce such a bill or law shall individually be held liable for every damage said bill or law shall cause.” That might get someone’s attention.
Or how ’bout, “[same list] shall be declared outlaw, be stripped of involvement with the United States, and be subjected to forfeiture of citizenship, position, properties, and life.”
Leave that little third rail next to the 2A and see how many gun-grabbers try to sneak one in.
But, alas, everything in the Constitution merely says, “do this; don’t do that…” and there is little specific consequence for when this is ignored.

Inauguration ceremonies turned out to be what the Democrats do best—making a ruse.
In this ruse, some 200,000 flags represented people, the same kind of flags that were burned down by BLM and Antifa protesters last summer in trying to make the masses believe that Old Glory is no more.

In the end, it was a ruse akin to applying rouge on the cheeks of a corpse when all around it could say: “He/She looks like the picture of health even in a coffin”.
And now, one day later, sadness and disappointment are already growing into after-shock and disbelief.
Isn’t that really because the spotlight now shows how downright bedraggled desperado Dems look after the ball.
Impossible to pump passion and energy into a media-chosen president already showing sad signs of failing health.

The progressive socialist left, known as the Democrat Party, has taken free license to use the condemned events of Wednesday, January 6, 2021, to openly discuss such abjectly disgusting concepts as deprogramming and re-educating American citizens. Needless to say, we have all heard of these ideals previously in history, from people such as Hitler, Stalin, Lenin, Mao, the Kim family of North Korea, Pol Pot, Castro, Che Guevara, Hugo Chavez, and Nicolas Maduro. History has taught us — well those who are still studying history — words such as stalag, gulag, work camp, concentration camp, indoctrination camp, and re-education camp, with the latter currently being used against the Uighur Muslims in China.
We have, in the past week, heard use of the word ‘censorship’ more often, and the CEO of Twitter has informed us, the American people, that we can expect more of it. Censorship is just a nice PC way of saying fascism. As a matter of fact, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez, a member of the House Oversight Committee, also lamented this past week about the need for the government to “rein in the media.” Something tells me she is not talking about CNN or MSNBC, certainly not taxpayer funded, left-leaning PBS.
The left has fully adopted, and is implementing, the 13 Saul Alinsky Rules for Radicals, namely these:
4. “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules.
8. “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.” Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new.
10. “The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.” It is this unceasing pressure that results in the reactions from the opposition that are essential for the success of the campaign.
11. “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.” Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.
It is imperative that we realize the progressive socialist left — these Marxists — do not subscribe to the premise of hypocrisy. They do not embrace any semblance of rules (save Alinsky’s radical ones), standards, or constraints. What they will do is encircle their enemy with their imposed rules, standards, and ideals of decency, all for their gain.
Take for instance, Democrat Congresswoman Cori Bush of Missouri, whose floor speech last week was laughable. Here is someone speaking to condemn the violence of January 6th when she actually led a violent march against two people. Yes, Cori Bush is a BLM activist who led the mob that called for the rape, murder, and burning of the home of Patty and Mark McCloskey of St. Louis. I know this for a fact since my wife Angela and I hosted the McCloskey’s for an event here in North Texas, and they stayed at our home for two evenings.
If we are to believe that there is some standard, or language, that the House Democrats are embracing as “incitement to violence,” heck, then why is Cori Bush a member of the US Congress? I demand that she be charged for her actions, which are on tape, and removed from Congress. After all, the Texas Democrats are accusing Texas Republican members of Congress of “inciting an insurrection” because they did not vote for the absurd impeachment charade…and they are fundraising off of that.
As well, Texas Democrats are demanding Senator Ted Cruz be disbarred because he objected to the elector slate from states where there were clearly unconstitutional issues of changing election law, and not by state legislators.
Funny, I have not heard a single Texas Democrat elected official address the violent history of Rep. Cori Bush, Rep. Maxine Waters, Rep. Ayanna Pressley, Sen. Kamala Harris, or Rep. Jerrold Nadler, who claimed Antifa was a myth. I have not heard a single Texas Democrat elected official condemn the violence over countless months that we have seen at the hands of Antifa and Black Lives Matter.
Let us not forget that it was four years ago at President Trump’s inauguration when violent leftist mobs took to the streets in Washington DC burning cars and destroying property, etc. Heck, I think they were rewarded with BLM Square in DC. The day after the inauguration, it was Madonna who stated, in Washington DC, that she dreamed of “blowing up the White House.” Would any Texas Democrat official like to condemn this?
This begs me to ask a very simple question. Knowing how delusional, vindictive, maniacal, and violent the left has been, in the face of Democrat silence: why would our own Texas Republican State House majority vote last week to allow Texas Democrats to hold Committee Chair positions? Please, spare me the offensive and condescending excuse of “Colonel West, you don’t understand our traditions and how things work.” If y’all recall, my Monday Message from November 9, 2020 addressed this issue.
See, Texas Democrat elected officials represent a clear and present danger to the Legislative Priorities of the Republican Party of Texas getting passed. Once again, elected Republicans come up with these rules, traditions, that mean nothing to the Texas Democrats. But, they use increasing and unceasing pressure to force weak Republicans to acquiesce to their demands. Does anyone believe that a Texas State House majority under Democrats, socialist leftists, would offer Committee Chair positions to Republicans? Hmm, how many Republicans are Committee Chairs in the California State Assembly?
The progressive socialist leftists know that they have two years to run amok before the midterm elections. They have not forgotten what happened to Barack Obama in 2010. They are going to seize this moment to inflict as much harm upon our nation and potentially make it impossible to ever be unseated from federal government power. Here is what must happen:
1. The Republican states, and states with Republican state legislative majorities, need to toughen up. They all need to put together 10th Amendment committees. We must have better coordination between red State AGs and State Legislatures to serve as a bulwark against the leftist ideological agenda. We need to start thinking about how to respond to a “packed” Supreme Court…which in my estimation would be illegitimate. Republican states must become “Liberty Sanctuaries.”
2. Republican State Legislatures need to examine the possibilities of divesting their state portfolios of Big Tech stocks who are advocating censorship of American citizens. This is already happening in Florida. Hmmm, why ain’t Texas leading on this? As well, it should be made clear that any tech companies in Texas embracing the idea of censorship of American citizens are not welcomed in the Lone Star State.
3. Republican State Legislatures must enact strong election integrity laws, meaning voter registration roll reviews, voter ID laws, and firmly disallowing universal mail-in ballots. Hey, Texas Democrats, that is not racist, and I am Black…Oops, forgot, Joe Biden said that I ain’t really Black. Remember, states and counties run elections, not the federal government. But, beware, Nancy Pelosi already has a House Bill ready that would nationalize elections.
Bottom line, Republicans need to “cowboy da hell up” and use Alinsky Rule #8 against the left.
In closing, I ask y’all to refrain from sending me emails and text messages about how scared you are, or that the country is lost. That is exactly what the left wants you to feel. The Spirit of Texas is not one of fear, it is one of resolute and principled defiance. Not acquiescence or appeasement to Democrats and giving them Committee Chair positions.
If there are moments when you are starting to feel a little despondent, I leave you with the mock-Latin motto of World War II US Army General “Vinegar Joe” Stillwell, “Illegitimi Non Carborundum!”

But to me, if the main goal is not to straighten out the past election, then we are ignoring the primary issue.
They STOLE our election. They STOLE Pres. Trump’s second term. They robbed him of enjoying the biggest landslide in American history, and the biggest vote count. They robbed us of enjoying that with him, and of hope for the future and of continuing the momentum we had started with this movement. They robbed us of a huge second inauguration gathering and victorious speech. They STOLE our votes. They disenfranchised US.
You don’t let those things stand, and be able to continue as a country. Basic self-respect and boundaries dictate that people do not allow themselves to be abused like that, let alone a country whose very existence and future depend on the rule of law and restoration of our founding principles. The greatest country in the world does not allow its government to be taken over in a coup.
There is no “Trump can run and win in 2024.” No, he can’t. If we don’t straighten this out now, it’s over. Who here has confidence that votes will ever be counted accurately again? And as for a new political party, it takes years to get one off the ground. Even if Pres. Trump started one, if the voting system were not fixed, it would do no good.
I’m all for boycotts. They have been shown to have some impact, but not enough, IMO. And they are not as simple as people would like them to be. For example, for some people, it’s too hard to switch computers or phones. They don’t know enough about it, and they don’t have time to learn. Or they are on a family plan at a price that would not be available if they switch phones. There are multiple issues. As for cable TV, it’s all well and good to say to cut it, and I’m in favor of that; but I also visit someone in senior care, and TV is about all they have for diversion. Some of them can’t read anymore. Some can’t operate computers. Some look forward to sports, which many of us are boycotting. It’s complicated.
A truckers’ strike should have impact and get people’s attention. I don’t know how to organize it and how to keep it from impacting the weakest among us — the senior care people I mentioned above, and others.
We lack leadership, but there are people who know how to get things done, like Scott Pressler and others. I don’t know how to get the word to everyone, but I think we could find a way. I think people have been waiting because they thought there would be a big event at the inauguration. Now we are wandering around, listening to bloggers.
I don’t know what the solution is, but I am in favor of fighting with all our might, in every way possible. But we also have to not let them get away with the steal. If “the plan” is still in play, I am willing to wait, but I don’t see how we can wait much longer without irreversible damage to the country. Someone needs to let us know. We need leadership.

Mine is based on MY REPEATED OBSERVATIONS over the last 10 years. I lowered a 170/140 to normal WITHOUT statins.
If I eat too much NaCl my BP sky rockets and stays up for about three days. Potassium on the other hand lowers my BP.
WORSE, caffeine can make you lose potassium. LINK
Low carb lowered the bottom number and high potassium/low sodium lowered the top number.
(Too much potassium CAN BE DANGEROUS BTW.)
OH, and I should also mention I do hard work out in temperatures up to and over 100 F.
Dr Atkins shakes do a very good job of providing the correct balance of Na and K for me in the summer. They even clear up an on coming migraine (seeing flashing lights) within 10 minutes.
The body needs both potassium and sodium in balance. As the article mentions. Typically eating whole foods will do the trick along with salting your food. Along with personal tweaking.
And as a reminder, standard doc provided nutritional advise is garbage.

That could be good news for the chief justice, who faced harsh scrutiny during Trump’s first trial and wants no part in the second go-around, according to multiple reports.
The strongest argument for Roberts to stay on the sidelines is the fact that the Constitution only directs the chief justice to preside over a sitting president’s trial, said Michael Dorf, a professor of constitutional law at Cornell University. Under normal impeachment conditions, he added, that arrangement saves the vice president, who usually acts as the presiding officer over the Senate, from the appearance (or the reality) of a conflict of interest.
But this is no normal impeachment by any stretch. Trump is no longer president. And if the Senate convicts him, then Vice President Kamala Harris will not become president. Moreover, since the text of the Constitution does not specifically speak to the situation, Roberts can reasonably argue that it is not his business to get involved in a partisan squabble.

Article II, Section 4: “The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”
The Constitution talks about officers of the U.S. — which PDJT now is not…being removed from office — which can’t happen to someone who is not in office.

I do not believe there is any process to recall a Senator. The 17th amendment ruined things. Had the States stayed with the original construct the Senators could have been pulled back and replaced. The constitution originally had Senators assigned by the States. They were not elected.
I think that still exists but it requires a state with guts to test it. All that the 17th changed is that senators must be via direct election of the voters. There is nothing in the constitution that limits the authority of the states to yank its senator(s). Tenth Amendment guarantees that the states retain all authorities not specified as being exclusively federal.
Hmm. Maybe worth a challenge.
There has always been a mechanism to ensure that a sitting Senator does not continue out the end of the term.
Of course, there’s the pesky little murder charge involved…..
