Sorry to be so long replying, cthulhu. Yes, nice part of state and it has been wet. Nice day today and mold count better. I don’t have all that much control in rental, though they are very accommodating here, but a lot of rules. You know how that is.
That I do, but a benchtop HEPA filter might be good for you. The one that I had (errrrrrr…..twenty years ago….) was top-rated by Consumer Reports and made a noticeable difference in my sleeping area. The idea is recommended, I don’t know what resources you have for execution.
How much control do you have over your own environment? When we first moved into this house, I used a portable room HEPA filter for the bedroom, which helped a lot. Later, when we rebuilt the HVAC, I built-in a whole-house electrostatic precipitation unit, which we have used since.
With the amazing levels of smoke we got last year, it has been a comfort because it will even pull smoke out of the air….but (unfortunately) I designed the garden to waft pleasant zephyrs throughout when flowers were in bloom…..and the unit pulls the fragrance out of the air as well.
I have HEPA filters in ll the rooms of the house. We are not allergic but there is a lot of dust when opening the windows. We also had people breaking down houses and a lot of dust was all around.
When it gets cooler I open all the windows still have my air filters on.
They really help. I had people in my house who are allergic to animals who never even sneezed and did not know I had two dogs and three cats.

Mine have not canceled me yet. Those kids will come back for inheritance unless people have nothing or the kids have more than parents.
I have been tempted to cancel one of my kids because he is a brilliant idiot.
Yes it is sad I hear this more and more the more affluent the kids get the more they discard their parents like old shoes.
I also have seen kids fall apart at funerals overcome by guilt because they discarded their parent and now one is dead.
Do these kids not know that they are their father and their mother? Their parents ancestry lives in them and they cannot escape it? “Honer your Mother and Father” there is a reason for that. It does not say love but “Honor”.

Think of it this way….
If you know you one literally going to hell for drinking beer, you may as well keep the party going and drink more beer…even if the party is over far sooner than it otherwise would be if one stopped drinking beer (because, the thinking goes, it wouldn’t be a party without the beer).
This is short sighted, of course, but God gives the wicked over to a depraved mind for good cause.
In the end, it will be their OWN judgements of themselves (well justified) that will cause them everlasting pain and grief.

My interpretation of the bible is that those who have condemned themselves to hell will be well able to see the REAL party happening in heaven above, where the wine of life flows freely and without limit.
They will be unable to turn away or close their eyes to it.
And they will know they, and they alone, are responsible for where they find themselves.
Imagine being completing being cut off from any hope of any kind. Being cut off from hope itself…but unable to die and put an end to such misery. Able to see hope fulfilled in overflowing, undreamed of abundance, but being forever cut off from it with no hope of tasting even a single drop of it.
That is hell.
I disagree. They are down there in stink and hellfire, being tortured, in constant pain and misery that never stops, wailing and weeping, and begging for relief that will never come. It is then, albeit too late, that they finally acknowledge Jesus is the Son of God.

The people in hell DO see Heaven. They see that they are ETERNALLY separated from GOD via an uncrossable void. The parable of Lazarus and the rich man shows that:

1. Lazarus was in hell and the others were in ‘Abraham’s Bosom’. There were 2 holding places under the earth BEFORE Jesus died. After he died there was a switch, the Bosom folks and everyone saved now go to Heaven. ‘This day you will be with me in Paradise.’
2. Jesus saying Why hast thou forsaken me is right before he was going to hell and was the 1st time in his life he was cut off and disconnected from God the Father. God had to abandon him so Jesus could go down to hell. God could not go with Jesus, there is no trace of God in hell.
In Hell, you are disconnected from God.
I also believe that in Heaven we cannot see what’s happening on Earth. There’s no more sorrow, no more pain in Heaven, that means we don’t stress out about what’s happening here and we don’t take earth’s troubles up there with us.
