(This post was lost during “Geronimo activities”, but has been reconstructed from email announcements.)
There is no saddle. There is only my trusty Navajo blanket, and my 1873 Winchester with a saddle ring and nothing to tie it to.
I am going to try a variety of things with increasing impact on the site.
Trust that by noon tomorrow, we WILL have a stable site, but it may not look like what we have now.
Just keep posting, keep having fun, and if you can’t post, go to The U Tree or Marica’s.
I will inform as needed.
Geronimo has said “enough of this shit”.

You will recall a lot of strange site changes before midnight last night.
Here is an update about what went on.
After backing up the site – a back-up to which we returned later – I attempted to restore several older backups, to see if I could get rid of various site problems, which appeared to be due to some corruption of the underlying code.
As you saw, this resulted in fast but very effective CHAOS on your end. Not a problem – I needed the information I got.
These attempts ALL failed to correct the problem.
After restoring the site, including Dep Pat’s scheduled post, I investigated more deeply, and discovered that there is a small but significant problem – the underlying site software has a tiny issue that throws WordPress. Thank G_d for the internet – I found exactly what I needed to fix.
This may have happened because during the operations at our host, we were MOVED, or some other similar environmental changes took place. In any case, WORDPRESS was not amused by a small but important change.
I have notified our host, COUGHCOUGH.com, of the problem.
Now – I need this problem fixed quickly, and it’s an easy fix, but it is also one that I cannot do myself. If it is NOT fixed soon, then I am going to take a DIFFERENT “Geronimo action”, so that we can get back to work A.S.A.P.
Stay tuned!
Thank you for the update. Thank you for the hard work in keeping this website running. Good luck!
Thanks! I am just back here now. Our host made a different change – I’m about to see if that worked. Hang on!
Thanks for the update Wolf. Echoing Sadie in thanking you for the efforts to monitor and be proactive for the treehouse.
Thanks! Although, to be very honest, I feel FAR from proactive at this point. Letting those spam users build up was a HUGE mistake.
Prayers Wolf, we’re all here for ya.
I had problems posting last night, worked then it didn’t. Looks like I am in now.
Thanks for all the work you do to give us this site, Wolf!
Thank you, Wolf. ❤🤍💙
Wolf Moon
Good Energy, Gratefulness, and Respect to you.
👍 👊
After I got signed in on the lap top I have had no problem posting. I just stay loged in and when I come to the sight I’m logged in. Should I be logging in and out?
I never log in and out. Firefox keeps me logged in. (Someone will probably tell me that’s bad security-wise. But on the plus side, I never have the problems others have).
It appears that you were born for such a time as this! May God guide, direct, protect, equip, inspire, sustain, bless, & refresh you–Always. In Jesus’ Love ❤
AMEN!
My prayers too for Wolfm00n and the trees and we treepers.
And also that the various bugs and, erm, buggers get swatted and corrected…
Amen Cuppa!
Thank you Wolf for this great site! I learn so much from all the great authors, researchers/posters, and especially you! God Bless!
Seems to work fine for me.
Thanks again Wolf.
Wolf: thanks for all the hard work, effort and time. God Bless you
Loads of luck.
Should we then assume that the glowing multicolored coatimundi climbing out of the walls are merely harmless apparitions?
Hole-Y CROW!!!
Looks like I was correct about the vaccines and Antibody-Dependent Enhancement
I posted this way back last spring: Evaluation of Antibody-Dependent Enhancement of SARS-CoV Infection in Rhesus Macaques Immunized with an Inactivated SARS-CoV Vaccine
The guy that INVENTED the mRNA vaccine technology, Dr Robert Malone, just said blood titters are showing this is EXACTLY WHAT IS HAPPENING!!!

Thanks for this. Will cite later in the article!
Cool!
Correct – you warned about this at the very beginning of the things. I may do a search later and find the earliest you talked about this.
I know for sure it was WAY BACK. I remember knowing about it a long time ago, because of Gail.
FRIGGIN’ APRIL 2020.
We have known about this for a LONG time. God bless Gail, and all the others here who bring the sauce.
THIS is why the Black Hats hate our little site. Hate and fear it.
YUP.
Gail, Thank you for posting. Have spammed it out.
New post up!

I received that email notice for the ‘Geronimo’ thread, but when I clicked on it, it went to a “Oops… this page cannot be found”.
So knowing there were problems with the site, I posted the contents of the email in the Daily Thread to alert anyone who doesn’t get email notifications that you were trying to post.
At some point, that post disappeared though, because I couldn’t find it later.
Thank you Wolf, for all of your efforts, always!
👍😎
Thank YOU for alerting me to that email! I was able to find my copy of it, and thus the post was saved!
What happened is that your comment was on one of the failed restorations from back-ups. All of those disappeared, so that the site now has a short window of missing time.
Which I could blame on pencilneck in a very roundabout way! 😉
I saw it in the notifier and hit the like, since I was in the jettrap login.

OK – just a quick update. We are looking at solutions with our hosting company, and will let you know where things go.
We MAY undergo large-scale “Geronimo activities” very soon. Hopefully not, but it depends on whether our hosts can help me regain control of the site. If not, there will be a massive slash and burn and rebuild.

Thanks for everything Wolfe. And especially for having a big heart and a big tent
You’re welcome! Glad you’re here!
If the 1873 Winchester isn’t enough firepower to make the rascals high-tail it, maybe consider bringing in “Big Ernie”. Home base is the Da Yoopers Tourist Trap in Michigan’s U.P.

Hey, peeps – I’m locked out of the site. I was doing an article about ADE and the vaccines, and BOOM. Locked out.
Obviously, you’re not totally locked out if you’re commenting. It sounds like you are locked out of authoring. Are you locked out of administration? Do you have access to a separate computer?
I was actually locked out of the site completely – I think I dumped that into the notifier while on UTree.
I’m back in now, but it’s weird.
HANG ON. Much going on.
I don’t know if this is what every one else was seeing this is what i saw.

Yup. This is like Cloudflare. It’s going to be taken down and they’re going to put us on a different server with more resources.
Wolf ~ I was just reading a post by Scott in response to Cuppa Covfefe over on the daily and poof it disappeared. It was about the Olympics, Simone Biles and the CCP.
Looks like we’re back up. The host company is turning off the CDN and moving us to a different server. I think they just finished.
Sometimes it seems as if CDN really means

or maybe

iCloud, AWS, whatever the google cloud is called… seems they’re even juggled around when someone’s twerking with DNS or the root servers or the backbones betwixt…
Hang in there! It seems like your roller coaster from a few years back has grown a bunch of new humps, and higher ones at that…
(We had a traveling amusement outfit that would come to a shopping center near us, and they had an innocuous-looking ride called “The Mouse”. A relative of mine who would try anything, at least once, said, “Sure, it looks wimpy, but I’ll try it”. Five minutes or so later, they came back looking greener than the grass in the dividers… Seems what the ride lacked in length, it made up for in speed and rapid changes in direction and acceleration…)….
Oh, those little “tilt-a-whirl” rides are deceptive as hell! STAY AWAY!!! 😀
The one that seriously got me was Disney World’s MISSION: SPACE.
Beautiful, fun, interesting and entertaining ride. Glass smooth — they must have spent a FORTUNE in bearings. Simulates a bunch of G-Forces through tilt and spin.
Got off the ride, smiling, went through gift shop. Finally decided to leave the area — it’s in the middle of a large lawn criss-crossed with sidewalks. Got about halfway across the lawn and things started turning inside out. Managed to land on a bench where my inner ear recapitulated its criticisms of the entire ride experience in reverse.
After about five minutes, I was finally able to get off the bench and stagger around. Wasn’t truly myself for another half-hour afterward.
Scott just posted about it.
Good!!!
People, I have to tell you, our hosting company REALLY delivered. If you’ve noticed the SMOOTH sailing now, it may have something to do with their having removed over 59,000 spam registrations.
LOL!
THANK YOU, COUGHCOUGH.com
I will definitely put the word out on the back channels who our hosting company is, and how they came through for us.
I will be limiting registrations going forward, in whatever ways are required, to keep this ship sailing smoothly. Right now, registrations are turned off. They may come back on soon, after we assess things a bit more.
Thank you, everybody, for your patience!
Wolfie, you do a terrific job keeping this site going. Thank you for that.
You’re welcome! 😃
Things are very good. I can see all members right now – no spam users.
BACK TO WORK!!! 😎
Does that mean I can take this damned helmet off?
Yeah, I think we’re good here. I want to enjoy ONE NIGHT with zero registrations, but even after we open the doors again, with security measures in place, it will be an ALL CLEAR.
Great job!
This is the best site going – a very tight-knit group of great people, who provide stellar research, information, and WISDOM.
Very rare.
Thanks so much … enjoy your night!
It’s a good bunch!!!
I turned on security again. If you get locked out, holler on U Tree!
Thank you so much, boss, for all this work you’ve been doing.
Great job!
😍 😘
As an aside…my firewall is not zapping anything right now.
Zero.
As in, all clean.
It had been fluctuating the past few days, between a few — to triple digits at time.
But now it’s all clean.
😊 👍
LOL! That has to mean SOMETHING!!!
GOOD data point.
Kudos to Wolf and his CoughCough team.
YES! And some of the slowness this afternoon and evening was the removal of all those spam users! The FEVER killed the BUG!!!
59,000 spam registrations is a bit more than typical
LOL! OMG, it was really slowing us down.
Wolf, Thank you for everything!
You’re welcome! Keeping you all FREE and SAFE is its own reward! This is the essential nature of liberty!
This has little to do with the issues described here but it IS a connection/site issue.
I apparently can no longer “see” to edit a post when using my Linux laptop (default firefox derived browser). This happened last week too; I just waited and edited at home.
I see some shadowy outlines while the draft loads, but then they go away and I’m left looking at a totally blank (and empty) page.
I’m pretty sure this isn’t an attack because I seem able to do it fine from Brave on my desktop computer.
Are you able to run Brave on Linux? The “Nightly” version has a very convenient way to write it into your updates, depending on which flavor of Linux you’re running.
https://brave.com/linux/#nightly-channel-installation
My other system is also Linux, and has Brave on it,
Two things for me to try (other than installing brave on this machine): I’m running updates right now, which I haven’t done in about a billion years. I also should check to see if I see the same issue with Firefox on that other system.
Very interesting stuff – please let me know what you find!
OK. Apt Update UNINSTALLED the bastardized browser. that’s when I remembered they had planned to kill it.
So of course my old session is gone, utterly gone. I’m now on some other clone of Firefox.
I can see and edit, but my notifier doesn’t work. I know there’s a fix for that I just can’t recall it.
Most important is being logged in via WordPress, not locally.
So basically, I have to do both…OK.
I did the local log in, of course so I could write this comment (and work on my post).
Oh, this makes lots of sense!
I assume you mean apt upgrade.
You can roll back to prior versions of previously installed software (so long as it was installed with dpkg, for which apt is a wrapper). So you should be able to get your previous bastardized browser (and, likely, its info) back.
In fact just now the apt utility finished downloading and it’s now unpacking and installing.
