Over the weekend, the “Patriot Front” march got a lot of attention, and according to sources, the shields the men were carrying are FBI special orders. (Courtesy Anonymous Conservative)
It looks like this group’s march was first tweeted by a made up twitter account with no history, with the photo being an AI blend of images, and it was then promoted by the usual suspects on the left’s gatekeeping Cabal. Twitter since deleted the first account once people began asking questions, to cover for the op.
The “Patriot Front” marchers carried “Clear Point Blank Warrior Shields” that have a 2-3 month lead time and must be ordered by Law Enforcement or government, to the FBI’s specifications. Twitter actually deleted John Cardillo’s tweet on this to cover for the op. If these were LE grade and not props, they must have cost, and of course, only FBI could buy them. LOL.
Yeah, that stunt didn’t fool anyone with a brain.

Do not be upset if you have several 12-14 hour sleep days. A doctor once told me we have to make up the hours we lost. So my occasional 14 hours zonked no longer worry me.
I really only need about six hours a night, but the disruption of Thanksgiving week was lingering. And I have to reset my body clock.

Just wanted to comment as I am watching.
Malone says there is a good case for “pausing” the shots, although he refuses to actually advocate that.
He says that, in light of the new data on shot injuries and death, he is reconsidering his position that the elderly obese, and immuno-compromised SHOULD take the shot.
And he says he 100% agrees with with Vanden Bosche that the shots pose the dangerous risk of creating a more deadly virus worldwide.

He is treading a very fine line. Remember that this is not a top-of-the-line performer. This is a cheap way to “change tracks” and see if the Linux railroad runs for you. It is not optimal for software development, gaming, or video editing……but if you get comfortable with it, the most capable machines in the world run the same software.
And when you do get some “big iron” in your game, you can segue into virtualization — where you could have a Windows system and a Linux system (or two) running on the same hardware without either being able to see or interact with each other.
But not on a $150 box.

It depends on how it is/was stored. The old libraries, yes, were heat traps where acidic media slowly disintegrated. The newer ones have temperature and humidity controls. The library where I worked…all that stuff was in the archives area, which was fixed temperature and humidity wise year round.

An example of “modifications” is installing a problematic hard drive inside the box and then using Linux native tools to salvage data from it (and possibly salvage the drive from whatever gacked it). When your box has zero space for this, it makes it more difficult.

I am more skeptical about Lin Wood then General Flynn.
I have had this intuition/feeling about Lin Wood since the first press conference last year with Sydney.
That was the first time I saw him in action and my first impression was not good, even though the purpose of Sidney’s conference was for a good purpose. Notice he is now distancing himself from any action of Sydney, claiming he was never part of it.
Remember Obunglehead warned Trump about Flynn and Flynn was afterwards subjected to intense scrutiny, by the DOJ, FBI, Muller and also the Media and most likely any of the IC comunnity especially the CIA.. If anything nefarious had happened this would have come out.
I see this as a disinformation campaign, by these elements and they are using Lin Woods huge ego as a vehicle.
Could be, but there are plenty of issues surrounding Flynn, which is hardly surprising, since he is a professional member of the intelligence ‘community’.
A) Flynn is a registered Democrat. I know our side like to pretend that doesn’t matter, that there are ‘good’ professional democrats, but I don’t believe it, and I never have. So it’s a giant red flag, UNLESS it was a ‘cover’… which is always possible, especially since Flynn is a spook
B) why was Flynn silent for FOUR YEARS, while an ongoing coup attempt took place and finally succeeded?
What kind of patriot obeys a corrupt judge’s gag-order (if there was one) while his country is taken over by the enemy?
What possible justification could there be?
If you lose the country, you lose EVERYTHING, so losing the country is a matter of higher importance than any personal penalty for violating a gag-order, and Trump could pardon him anyway (and eventually did).
C) Flynn was asked by an audience member at a townhall type event whether we should do like Myanmar did. Flynn said absolutely (or words to that effect). But the next day he backtracked all over himself. While regularly urging the American People to take a stand. But he didn’t. He recanted. Not exactly an inspiring example of leadership.
D) now there’s this religious kerfuffle. The invocation / prayer he led was practically WORD FOR WORD the same as the TV prayer led by the cult woman from the 1980s.
When Flynn was questioned about it directly, he STALLED for about 15 seconds while he tried to formulate an answer. That was clearly indicative of hiding something.
If I remember correctly, he eventually said the prayer was on a card that he has carried in his wallet for years.
Okay then, let’s see it. What’s the story behind that?
None of these things have anything to do with Lin Wood. If Lin Wood didn’t even exist, these issues related to Flynn would be exactly the same.
Is it possible we’re being played?
Of course. Flynn is a spook, it’s what he does. If he is any good at it, it’s hard to believe he could screw it up so badly that a novice (Lin Wood, someone who is not part of the intelligence apparatus) could smoke him out.
If Lin Wood can trip him up, then how much easier would it have been for a foreign intelligence agency to trip him up?
Is Flynn a professional spook, or isn’t he?
If he is, did he graduate from the Clouseau School of Espionage?

Yes, Hussein warned Trump, which could also have been a set-up to insert Flynn into the incoming administration. Subtle, like an atom bomb.
And if Flynn was a Deep State plant, then all the intense scrutiny by the DOJ, FIB, Mueller, etc., was for show.
Certainly Hussein knew that warning Trump against Flynn would be like a high recommendation, because if Oblowhole was against Flynn, then Flynn must be good.
So, hypothetically, if Flynn was an agent of the Deep State, that would be a perfect way to try to insert Flynn into the Trump administration, by ‘warning’ Trump against him.
In such a scenario, Flynn wouldn’t have been the only one, but just one of many such attempts to insert spies into the Trump administration, many of which turned out to be successful.
So many were successful that it seems Trump had to know his administration was chock full of traitors, and played along with it to use them for his own purposes. Either that, or his vetting procedure was the worst in the history of the presidency of the United States.

So why not handle it this way?
Accept all of the Deep State’s recommendations, and put them in place.
And then ignore them for the next four years, while you bring in your own team to do the real work.

The president can give them security clearance. The POTUS has the right to choose his own counselors, and after listening to their counsel and making a decision, POTUS can issue a direct order to the head of whatever agency is tasked with carrying out his policy.
And either that agency will carry it out, or POTUS can fire the leadership for insubordination and insert a patriot as a temporary until his next selection comes up for senate approval, which is exactly the game DJT played multiple times.
The POTUS is not a helpless fish in a pond of sharks, he IS the shark in a pond of fish.
No one has more power or authority than POTUS.
And unlike all the POTUS going back to Bush Sr. (may he be remembered in infamy), DJT is actually a creative problem-solver.
So I am confident DJT could easily have pulled this off.
Bring in his own team, and use them, while the Deep State’s infiltration team, approved by the Senate, waits in the lobby every day.
That’s what I would have done.
Trump would probably be more subtle about it, but there’s no good reason why he wouldn’t do the same.
What other option was there?
If you can’t get your own people in positions of council, advise, leadership of agencies, etc. — or find a WORKAROUND to the efforts of the DS to block you — then what’s the point of being there in the first place?
Actually that is why POTUS brought Peter Navarro in as an advisor AND why the deep state tried to get rid of him.

At the time, I recall a narrative that Charles Flynn was somehow part of the military global sting operation against Cabal, part of the military operation secretly running the country while JB faked like he was running the country from a movie set in Hollywood.
As always, the bad guys know who the bad guys are.
Bring it down to a micro-level example.
Ten people plan and carry out a bank heist.
Those ten people know each other, they know they’re all bank robbers.
Now suppose 20 cops are on their trail.
No matter who those cops are, the bank robbers know those cops are NOT on the bank robbers’ side.
The bank robbers are not going to be fooled by any cops who try to join their gang after they pull the bank heist. So the bad guys are never going to be fooled by any ‘white hats’ trying to pretend they’re ‘black hats’ before, during or after the fact.

Oh sure, I know the old saw about how you can’t reveal evidence before a trial (a trial that will never take place with a compromised judiciary). But when the evidence is so VAST that it reaches all the way to the outer planets, you can afford to burn plenty of evidence to expose the size and scope of the enemy to the public.

I haven’t dug deeply into it myself, but since it isn’t going away, I may have to.
There is just so much information to consume each day, like trying to drink water out of a fire hydrant, so I have to prioritize, and this one hasn’t been high on the list yet.
1) Nixon was not on our side. Yet he was unfairly attacked by the left, and we illogically inferred from those attacks that he MUST be on our side. So we defended him with passion. But he was NOT on our side.
2) W. Bush was not on our side. Yet he was unfairly attacked by the left, and we illogically inferred that he MUST be on our side. So we defended him with passion. But he was NOT on our side.
3) The same sort of illogical process seemed to have happened with Flynn.
4) I took the minority (of one) view that Flynn and Powell were not the heroes people were making of them. I guarantee, nobody wanted to listen. I will not repeat what I said, but both were dishonest and less than admirable, IMO. I got into rather extensive reasons back when Daughn was here, and when her lawyer husband proved to me that even he did not know what he was talking about, I dropped it as unproductive.
5) I read the affidavit Flynn submitted under Powell’s direction and KNEW they were both dishonest, as best, as well as not very bright. All you needed was common sense to see that, but nobody wanted to listen. We were played for chumps by both Flynn and Powell. The affidavit alone was enough for me, but there was much more stuff which was at least suspicious, not worth getting into at this point.
6) In an exercise of illogic myself, I assumed that Wood was dishonest based precisely on his association with Flynn and Powell. He was a lawyer, I reasoned (badly), and he therefore must be aware of their flawed characters. If he joined them, he was similarly flawed.
7) Turns out, Wood made the same sort of Nixon/Bush mistake himself about Flynn and Powell. But hard experience made him realize differently.
8) These Truths urged me to reconsider Wood by looking into the facts more. Having done so to some extent, I have to say I do not like his style, but I cannot see where he has been dishonest. And the Rittenhouse/Carlson interview, however it came about, was an unfair and probably planned unjust attack on Wood. It is actually rather disgusting what they did to Wood.
9) Another disgusting thing is how patriots give money, but the recipients (like Flynn and Powell, and many others) make no transparent accounting of every penny. This is disgusting because patriots are regularly treated like chumps. People with good hearts can be taken advantage of with pretty words. Wood, it seems, claims to have been transparent with any money he has handled. I have not verified that, I really don’t care, but if that is true at least Wood has the outward appearance of being honest.
10) BTW, innocence by association is just as illogical as guilt by association. Having said that, I respect Clements VERY highly, and he is a friend of Wood.

Hey Awesome Q-Treepers, I’m going to finally attempt an update & ground report based on recent adventures, but in segments in reply to this comment. It’s been a busy week for my family & some of us are still trying to regroup.
Josiah’s MRI at U of M was last week & we still await the results.
The hospital was still enforcing masks for everyone. In pre-covid times they mostly only had people wear masks who were actively sick or immunocompromised. My mask usage was not full on compliant (though I’d determined to not buck this before the trip) so I often pulled the paper diaper below my nose & never pinched the metal piece to put it flush to my proboscis. It made my glasses fog otherwise. I was only called out on “improper” mask usage by one staff person. At the end of the day, when wheeling Josiah through the corridors after his MRI I kept the mask below my chin & not one person of the dozen or so we encountered said a thing!
In the pre-op phase of the MRI we met the tech who’d be performing the test. He inquired about Josiah’s neurologist (a long & convoluted tale) that “wound me up” (J Really wanted me to Not talk covid & masks Anywhere that day). J’s neurosurgeon who’d done his pituitary adenoma removal about a decade ago has since retired. We were called by scheduling to see the new/recommended replacement neurosurgeon but that guy is Only doing Virtual Appointments. I ended up “going off” about the fakedemic & how if someone’s judgement is so impaired as to be fearful of covid there was no way we could trust his sense in medical terms. Where does “First Do NO Harm” come in here???
When I said fakedemic the tech smirked in a way that implied he knew it was a bunch of BS. Well, J being autistic w/ no filter started laying into me about how we don’t want to basically upset the natives there that have to go along to keep their jobs. So I said loud enough to be heard by several staff that the tech seemed to know what was Really going on, or just being kind in a way to appease me. Given that another staff person was fully Unmasked until we walked near their workstation it’s possible that these poor people have to keep faking it until they make it. We didn’t rock the boat too much overall!
We await the MRI results, which are supposed to be be given to the ordering doc, J’s primary care physician. I hope we’ll get results sometime this month but who knows.
J is falling more & more frequently & now even using the cane inside our home. It is disconcerting & uncertain what is really behind this new situation. Because the medical establishment is seemingly so owned & controlled by dark forces it is beyond unsettling to have a super medically complicated person with unusual & progressing symptoms but not really know where to turn nor who to trust to help solve this dilemma. It sure as heck won’t be some new doc who refuses to see him in person & has completely bought into the lies! (Of course seeing someone virtually who is distant but competent, like FLCCD types, could be considered, if need be.)
Multiple people have expressed concern & interest on J’s MRI, which is pretty different from the past half dozen or so times he’s had one before of his brain. This Might be due to the fact that Josiah shared about it via social media and also to the maturation of some of his siblings, who have shown increased sensitivity & compassion in their brother’s continuing convoluted journey. In a smaller group setting on the weekend someone asked me some leading questions & I dove a little deeper into J’s medical complexity more than my small audience was used to. I can wear people out in minutes–shock!
Saturday was the Twins Birthday AND Josiah was Extremely excited to watch the University of Michigan play Iowa for the Big Ten Championship–& Win! He took it almost as a personal birthday present & plans to order T-shirts for himself & Brandon to remember. Sometimes it’s the little things, the joys of life, that are so sweet!

The GF (& her uncle/godfather/pastor) did finally make it across the border w/ no issues! They flew in for a whirlwind visit for about a half a week. B spent as much time as possible w/ her given some work & firefighting school obligations.
We gathered as an extended clan, all siblings, spouses, fiancée, parents, & grandparents at a fancy Detroit waterfront restaurant for an amazing meal & time of fellowship. Unfortunately the GF was fighting some type of illness so was able to interact less than she’d hoped. Her uncle was there, in part, to check out our family on behalf of her family & by the end of our evening together the consistent Christian witness was clear all around & he said that he was authorized to give the family’s blessing to the relationship progressing, which he heartily did.
We are, understandably, concerned about our son potentially marrying someone across the borders of insanity. Though we are hardly safe from tyranny here in The States in Canada they have marched pretty consistently toward totalitarianism of late…
An interesting part of the conversation w/ Both of the guests involved their perspective on Canada. They originally came from Guyana that was apparently formerly a British colony that also obtained their freedom from under the British boot, similar to us in the US. When this extended family decided to migrate North they were hoping to come to America but the process was much more involved, time-consuming, & convoluted, so they went to Canada instead. At one point the GF’s dad worked in America while still living in Canada. Anyway she mentioned that “one of the first things they learned in school” (I didn’t catch if this was regular school or her pre-law higher ed) was that their rights as Canadian citizens were not absolute (they are not granted Inalienable Rights). It’s written into their law that the government can take their rights away, basically at any time! I’d not heard this before, which makes me even more desirous to see B not live across the border!
We ended up getting a more intimate time w/ B & GF in our home late into the evening (as she was leaving the next day) to get to know each other better & learn of our hopes & hearts. She indicated that my son’s relationship with the Lord is one of the key drawing points for her relationally. In fact, the process of where they go from here is something that is to be bathed in prayer. I was able to pray w/ them together before parting–sweet.
Frankly after meeting her & seeing them together (finally) & also w/ feedback from her uncle it wouldn’t at all surprise us if they ultimately marry. One thing she indicated is the pre-eminence of family relationships. She is actually open to moving to the US As Long As Her Parents Also Move (she Expects to care for them in old age & is open even to a multi-generational household, eventually). In fact, the main prayer request, after God’s Will being done overall here, is that the Lord would provide a job for her father in America so that her family can more easily transition here. They both recognize that B has more interconnected roots where he is (many friends, numerous jobs, involved in several ministries, extended family clan) than does she (a couple friends, a sister who is planning to move to Nigeria for her marriage, her parents).
So God willing, if this is a relationship that is to go forward, hopefully the Lord will open doors to move the GF & her family stateside!
Apparently this trip was such a treat that she plans to return, by flight again, at the end of the month, after travelling to Guyana & Canada again in the interim. Since she took the clot shot (“required” in Canada for border crossing, etc.) she’s still likely to be the travelling one. She hopes to return further via car as the border crossing is less of a hassle, though of course the travel time is extended. Their first day here B took them to get a “covid test” that they’d need for proof before being allowed to board their return flight–sigh!
Speaking of flying, I drove them to the airport Saturday morning & I have NEVER seen Detroit Metro airport so slow, & that includes giving rides for Middle of the Night flights! There were only 2 other cars at the first stoplight off of the highway when there are usually dozens. In dropping them at departures there were maybe a half dozen cars & no more than an additional dozen appeared in the 10 minutes we were talking. Hmmm
Some further ground report observations.
The entrance doors to the Detroit restaurant complex had numerous signs posted “unvaccinated Must wear masks”. Never were we challenged for being maskless, as were nearly all the other people we observed & no one enquired of our “vax” status. Even stationed security guards had masks hanging from their ears instead of obscuring their faces. ALL the waitstaff I observed had No Masks! That’s the first time I’d observed this at a restaurant since covid hit!!!
I hit Wal-Mart for shopping recently. Maybe half the shoppers & all the workers wore masks. No signage on the doors. Voice over announcements on “following CDC guidelines” on masking & distancing encouraged. I don’t know if anyone cared. At checkouts carts & people were crowding in lines like pre-covid. Most black people I saw had masks & some even had face shields…
The shelves were pretty full in all the aisles I visited. There were some annoying plastic shielding covers in some areas that you had to lift to access the items behind. When holding them up they played announcements of how to get further assistance from an associate–this was in the medicine/supplement area of the store, at least.
They’ve rearranged some of the sections since I’d been there before & now the supplements seem to have about Half of the shelf space as they’d had before. In searching for more items that we’ve recommended in the Q-Tree for immune boosting there were still pretty slim pickings. They has Lots of some basics, like Vitamin C in various forms, & numerous vitamin choices, though heavily leaning toward gummies. It seemed that there weren’t as many Wal-Mart/generic brands as before. It’s been pretty hard to find off brand guaifenesin, including like Tussin, in several stores now. The cough drop area was pretty heavily picked over.
I’ve been hoping to make my own version of Chai Tea, for the one we usually get is quite expensive. So I was checking the spice area in great detail & it really wasn’t all that well stocked. There were very few of the less expensive/Wal-Mart brands of items. This was also true in the popcorn enhancement aisle. I’ve seen this lack on several trips now.
In the tea section I saw no instant black or green tea options, other than like Nestea, iirc. So in searching to make my own version of Chai Tea Latte finding less expensive items is quite a challenge. In person options remaining are grocery store, Meijer, & Target.
Being that this trip was 3 weeks before Christmas the store did not have that overall frenetic Christmas crunch I’ve noticed in years past. There was no Salvation Army bell ringer at the front of the store though the empty stand was there…hmmm…
One strange thing is that someone must have removed a holiday coffee creamer out of my cart when I wasn’t looking. In the ammo area the boxes were behind locked glass & the amount stocked was pretty minimal. They didn’t have hunting sales showing like previous years when the season is winding down (a source of Christmas grab bag joy previously). I wandered into the book aisle & it was pretty & colorful with quite limited current offerings. There was some children’s book “by” LeBron James featured prominently–gotta keep the Chyna shills rewarded & promoted–whatever!
Oh I grabbed a random bacon package (w/out price comparing as it was in the wrong area) & paid almost $9 for 24 oz yikes.

80 years ago, starting today, yet another major proof of God’s existence was revealed in a series of events that were monumental in world history.
80 years ago today, under cover of gross diplomatic deceit and misdirection, Japan launch a surprise military attack upon Pearl Harbor, home of the US Pacific fleet.
But….
….by the grace and mercy of God Almighty, all 3 of our aircraft carriers were out of port on a training exercise. They were spared any damage or loss.
Shortly thereafter, a small ragtag team of Navy cryptologists, relegated to a poorly ventilated basement room because no one took them seriously at the time, broke the Japanese navy’s sophisticated code system and, using a clever trick, managed to confirm the time/place of yet another surprise Japanese attack….this time against the US military installation at Midway island.
With this information, and those 3 aircraft carriers, the US Navy was in a position to repay the Japanese and surprise them in turn. And surprise them they did!
The result of all this?
The Japanese sucker punched the US and, just a few months later, tried to do it again. Instead, the US delivered such a mighty a blow at Midway that it rocked Japan off of it’s proverbial feet. In those cases, though, they planned to stay. Their goal in hitting Pearl Harbor was to disable us, so that they’d have a free hand elsewhere in Southeastern Asia.
The Straits Settlement and Burma controlled naval approaches from the West and the supply routes to the Chinese who were resisting Japanese encroachment.
They wanted the Dutch East Indies (now Indonesia) for the plentiful oil supply. (Japan has no oil.)
They essentially achieved every objective within a few months of December 7/8. They’d have had a free hand to continue their conquest of China…if only we had thrown in the towel after Pearl Harbor.
But we didn’t. As FG&C points out, they didn’t get our aircraft carriers. As someone else pointed out a few weeks ago, many of the ships they did sink were obsolete (though the people they killed most assuredly were not); we ended up replacing them in short order with ones much more capable of kicking ass. And much ass-kicking needed to happen.
Over the next three and a half years of grueling naval and marine (as in Marines hitting the beaches) warfare, we had to claw back everything Japan had taken.
We were poised to invade the Japanese home islands, starting with Kyushu (the southernmost of the four big islands of Japan). That operation would have jumped off from Okinawa, which we had won at the price of a lot of dead and wounded Marines. That was slated for November 1945.
The big invasion of Honshu (the “main” island of Japan) would have been in early 1946. This would have been on the Kanto plain near Tokyo. Unfortunately, it was basically the only place to land an invasion, and the Japanese knew this. They had plenty of time to prepare.
I have no doubt that that invasion would have been far more difficult than Normandy…which was bad enough. And it would have continued to be bad, as we fought our way through mountainous terrain trying to root out the last resistance. Okinawa, Iwo Jima…would have been seen as simply Honshu in microcosm. We look at them as awful meatgrinders, and they were.
We are lucky they didn’t come to be overshadowed in late 1945…and 1946…and maybe even 1947.
Fortunately, we had the fission bomb. Those bombs together killed over a hundred thousand Japanese, but they may have saved two million American lives.
Anyone who wants to tell me we shouldn’t have dropped those bombs…gets, if I say anything to them at all, the rejoinder that perhaps Japan shouldn’t have tried to conquer its neighbors, which led to our embargos, which led a choice to back down or to attack Pearl Harbor, and Singapore, and Hong Kong, and Bataan. They made the wrong choice again. And that led to Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Japan wasn’t worth two million American lives…I for one am glad we didn’t have to pay that price.
But I am also glad we stood up to them and didn’t fold after Pearl Harbor.

People here pay dues. Yes. Supposedly for the trees and to keep the streets in good repair, among other things, like keeping the gates maintained, and new gutters driveway aprons. But, that doesn’t mean it happens any more than every twenty years. My street failed before they did anything about it, and we are expecting our side to be ripped up anytime Missouri American Water decides to FINALLY replace the main which has broken at least five times in the last five years. One time, the street collapsed it was that huge.
Our Trustees are usually pretty good people who are harassed by a few over zealous spoiled brats, actually. They do make sure that standards are maintained. There are some around here who are in favor of revoking the indenture and giving the streets back to the city, but I’m not sure that’s going to make much of a difference. The city already deals with code violations, plows snow, and does the leaf collection, among other things.
In this case, this particular tree has been losing branches over the sidewalk and was really hazardous, so it has to come out. I understand COMPLETELY, and wish they would take out the one next door while they are at it. It’s just the chainsaws and the chipper as background noise is not the most pleasant.
I am used to it around here, as well as the logging trucks and the shot gun and rifle fire. AHHHHHhhhaa the quiet country life… I forgot the donkey jack across the street braying at my mares at all hours.
I’ll tell you what, when my brother and sister and I drove past the farm in October, the two houses across the street were in such disrepair they both had collapsed roofs. They simply are fire traps and not safe. How does one remedy that?

Massive mess I’ll have to clean up in the kitchen.
Although…he’s pretty good about that. The old man, my mother and sister…no. Honestly, my mother and sister raise “use every dish in the kitchen” to a new level. The mess after Thanksgiving every year takes days.
My dad would brush this goo that had oregano or basil leaves on it onto chicken. He’d mix it in this coffee cup…and then when done would NOT rinse it out.
By the time the slave labor (me and my sibs) did the dishes it had hardened into concrete and it would take an hour to get that dang coffee cup cleaned.
When I asked him to please rinse the cup out, he said “no.”
That is when you watch like a HAWK and grab it once he is done with it and RINSE IT.
Luckily Hubby is good about rinsing dishes.
We were forbidden from entering the kitchen when he was cooking.
Not even to grab a snack because he was taking forever and we were starving.
One time I got in my car and hit a drive through.
My mother eats plain oatmeal cooked on the stove top. I use a vegetable sprayer to get the stuff out of the pot.
My dad refuses to rinse as well. Doggone Bostonian Irish in him.
Or even just put in the sink and fill with water.
The veggie sprayer is AFTER it has soaked in water. She will do that.
Even soaking in water wouldn’t fix the goo that was encrusted to the OUTSIDE of the coffee cup (and the very brim of it), because my dad would use the cup to remove excess from the brush, just like a paint can.
My husband puts everything on the counter. It is close enough to the sink 🙂 Nothing to argue about there little things compared what could be. One should make a list of the pluses and minus and when the plus outweigh the minus one can be grateful. It is so easy to focus on the minus not qualities of a person..
I walk behind my husband with oatmeal and put water in the bowl and dish washing lotion. One day I got tired of it even though it was a little thing. I ask him if he please could put water in his bowl and he does.
Cooking I rather cook I clean my mess while cooking. My husband is a good cook but does not clean after himself and I have to clean all the stuff and the oven 🙄
I put dishes in the dishwasher after I clean them but my husband cleans out the dishwasher every morning and puts them away. First he put the dishes anyplace so I kept asking him where what was. I think he got tired of it and puts everything where it belongs.
I am very lucky. I do all the cooking, and the DH does the dishes. And we don’t even have a dishwasher. 🙂

My husband’s mother did everything for him. It is not that he does not want too he is just not good ad it.
I changed that and taught my boys. They cook , clean after themselves and so much more. They are making good husbands that was my goal.
I have two sons. That was my goal, too! They are great men, but not yet married.
Mine married late one 29 one 45. Obviously they found the right woman for themselves both are happy married. My daughter was 24 and is happy married for 26 years.

When I was 16-17 I wanted to be 50 years old. I admired my grandmothers one a very elegant woman . she taught me how to dress and how to feel comfortable with very rich people.
I also admired my other grandmother who had much wisdom down to earth.
My grandmothers came from two different classes. One was a country woman the other City both from well to do families just different life experiences.
Both were youthful and taught me how to live life and shared much wisdom.
I still feel they are with me and influence me.

I do Quick oats in the microzot.
Start with a 1/4 apple chopped – 1.5 minutes
remove and add 1/2 cup oats
Cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, allspice, KCl ‘salt’
add 1 cup water
Microzot 1.5 minutes
Add chopped walnuts, raisins, dried cranberries, and a bit of cream.
stir
The cream helps make the clean-up easy
The mess and TUMS or Pepto. As long as he doesn’t give us all food poisoning.

He talks about us “rolling out” our nuclear capability–which of course we did do–but he implies (with “not coincidentally”) that, clear back in 1941, we knew we would have a nuclear capability to roll out and were planning to do so.
If that’s what he actually meant, he’s full of shit. At that point we had no idea if the bomb could work. We wouldn’t even have our first controlled chain reaction until December 2 of 1942.
