There is a lot of speculation that the next target will be President Trump himself, but we’ll have to wait and see.
Please, consider the backgrounds of those doing the attacking. Patrick Byrne, Glenn Greenwald and Patrick Bergy are all “converts.” They are the ones publicly doing the pot stirring. Individual anons and influencers jump on the bandwagon each of them confects according to their own likes and prejudices, thus creating discord and division.

Florida residents have been empowered by DeSantis’ leadership to do actual things to defend themselves against the tyrants. Like Trump. DeSantis is an actual leader worthy of support. Like Trump, DeSantis has already proven himself. Very, very rare.
When people actually prove themselves, especially when they accomplish things at great personal risk (like DeSantis and Trump), they earn our support.
They don’t just utter pretty words, words which anybody can utter for any reason, and which can be found in thousands of places being uttered by thousands of people. While the words are pretty, and sometimes inspiring, they are just words.
If the words go away, so what? There are plenty more words which will be uttered by plenty more people. People on our side have already figured things out. That is why the words sound pretty.
That is why we are too intelligent to be divided by where the pretty words come from, and we can afford to discuss where the pretty words are coming from, like confident people who already know what is going on out there beyond the pretty words.

IMO there was one case and one case only which was inescapably corrupt, the Texas case. The Texas case was rejected on the sheer fraudulent use of standing. That decision is indefensible. That case was brought by a state against other states.
It was a case which was VERY clean, and it started in SCOTUS.
The other cases were historic, but were they legally airtight like the Texas case?
I read the Kraken case and thought Powell did her typical shoddy work. There were fundamental arguments she left out, but they were arguments beyond her ability to see.
But I could not watch her night after night on Dobbs hawking her book, making political arguments disguised as legal arguments, so she was for me never a factor in advancing our cause for me. I guess I was “divided” years ago, long before PM’s notice.
Same thing for Flynn. I saw that he was shady and dishonest a long time ago. So I am not “divided” by anything currently.
Why Praying Medic or anyone ever felt these two were essential to our side is beyond me, regardless. There are a hell of a lot of people, who are engaged with election fraud canvassing, getting elected to school boards, getting elected to other positions at precinct level, or are engaged in other civil activities to expose this fraud, ensure election integrity and hold the politicians’ accountable.
The Virginia election was one of the outcomes and no I don’t buy the story that they allowed this to happen. They couldn’t overcome the engagement of citizen to the point that 95% of election observers were filled. Normally between 20% and 30% are filled and these are usually highly partisan Democrats.
This is the real grass roots movement and should be encouraged.

Same with Abby Johnson and others. You want these popular people to speak at random events, you gotta pay them.

I have a criticism of our side, which I have expressed more obliquely on occasion.
IMO we are too eager to enthusiastically support people with praise and money simply because they say the right things.
Just guessing here, but IMO we have been beaten down and insulted for so long, we are easily manipulated by celebrities who say the things we want to hear.
I look at the daily commercials featuring puppies and kittens, and men with deformed bodies, and much more in that vein, and I think about the people who give the 11 dollars or 19 dollars a month in response. They are good-hearted people who can be manipulated because they have good hearts.
If anything, I think our side needs to be much more hard headed and critical in demanding both transparency and ACCOMPLISHMENT from those who purport to be our “leaders.”
I think we have to see every penny accounted for, publicly, so Coothie can analyze the transactions and tell us if it is on the up and up.
I do not like Wood’s style, but he actually accomplished something. He actually raised the bail money, and put his financial position on the line, to get KR out. Those facts cannot be disputed.
I watched Peters’ interview with Wood and they kept flashing the “receipts” for the bail thing, implying that the finances were completely transparent. And Wood has said that they are publicly available for anyone. (I could not make heads or tails of them, so it would be a waste of time to look. BUT apparently SOMEONE competent could look at them, and that gives me great re-assurance).
So Wood accomplished something real. KR being out probably was necessary to the acquittal. Incarceration is a HUGE weapon used by prosecutors to win. And Wood did it transparently, so we knew we were not being ripped off.
The KR bail thing puts Wood far ahead of many, many others who say pretty words. He earns our respect and admiration for that.
The “division” thing announced by PM is a game two can play. Is PM really just trying to cover up and collaborate with traitors to our side? Is PM just trying to shut up serious discussion by insulting people and besmirching them by labelling serious discussion divisive?

It is my opinion that any movement, especially political or ideological, must have followers to establish its legitimacy. These followers, for the most part, follow by faith (trust) not particularly by reason or logic. It is human nature. It takes time and considerable effort to work out the facts and implications of what you hear from your leaders. Most people do not have the time – and in many cases – the resources to be sufficiently informed to develop a reasoned argument for why they follow. I would argue that in the case of the Q movement, or the Trump movement, (place whatever label best describes your reasons for considering yourself an adherent) requires followers who are skeptical, for whom, reason and logic are absolutely essential. Faith is best for what can’t be seen or known by other means.
Our sense of patriotism draws us to these people like moths to light but it is also an environment ripe for fraud, deceit, and greed. I require myself to step back on a regular basis to assess the reasonableness of what I believe about our ‘leaders’. It is actually quite a challenge because American culture has become one big rumor mill. It is becoming harder than ever to recognize the truth even when you are fortunate enough to find it.
For me, one ironclad reasonable position with respect to these movements is to always be skeptical of EVERYTHING from a government source. Your government, any government, has a different agenda than yours. Never forget this.

I appreciate this. I have a personal pre-disposition to be quite wary of the “unity” card for it smacks of groupthink & the una-mind. It’s as if powerful forces want to suppress Any dissent, even that which operates as the refiners fire–turning up the heat to get the dross to rise to the surface so it can be skimmed off.
Loose Unity of Purpose, like restoring America to founding principals, returning The Church to bedrock biblical truth, AND promoting historically tried & true family values are things upon which many of us can agree. How we do any of these things is open to debate & being a melting pot nation w/ many regional cultures means there is no way that a “one size fits all” approach would consistently work everywhere.
Trump’s MAGA promotion seemed to unite so many of us who deep in our hearts Love America. Truth was a part of the glue drawing people together. Walk-Away demonstrated that there was wider appeal of MAGA than just traditional, main-stream culture.
On the Conservative side of the equation we seem prone to demand “perfection” of our candidates & “leaders” & there was only ever ONE Perfect Man, Jesus Christ. We are all prone to feet of clay so we need to be holding each other accountable in grace, love, AND truth. Let’s not let the “perfect” (an idealized standard we probably cannot even fully agree on) become the enemy & destroyer of the excellent, or even the very good!

Pitching in with a conversation I had with a pest control man this morning. He said that if he and his wife had young children (theirs are adults) they would possibly divorce over the issue of getting them vaxxed. My husband and I used to get at least once or twice a year to Chicago.
We love the museum and did go to concerts there. Shopping also was fun and love some of the restaurants. The last time we were there was about 5-6 years ago when our daughter came from CT and we spend some time together. I am glad she moved out of Chicago about 20 years ago.
I could tell specially in the evening there was different type of people luring on the street. Made me uncomfortable . Such shame these beautiful cities being ruined.

True many States along with Federal Workers chased China investments almost exclusively from what I remember reading in the past. The question is how much of that was in this. Which ever portion was stock and remain invested got a serious pounding on the way down, so those leaving last lost most. Meanwhile much of this article is about the remaining bond holders. If managers didn’t pull out of that early then they’d be in a bind I think as they are saying:
Unless the mangers of these state and federal pension funds were active in jumping ship, which would entail a loss by itself then these people are likely left in the dust. Many of the younger people wouldn’t even understand where there money is invested, never the less know how to watch it. Then with so few choices they likely couldn’t do much to move it away. Most of these type funds advertise high risk (heavy on stocks, to moderate risk and low risk (heavier on bonds but still about 60-70% of stock. The low risk folk are going to get hit the hardest I’d think unless they had savvy money investors who were not beholden to the Chinese. But then everything we’ve seen that’s what they are.
Meanwhile most US Mutual Funds are domestic. They should of moved away if they had any cross exposure. The ones that might not have though are again the 401 type set up to service certain companies. Example HEB down here in Texas, like a lot of large corporations, has their own 401 retirement funds and generally those kinds of funds are heavy in fees and perform like dogs. No telling where they invest their money. Likely China too. I never got involved in them.
