Dear Q-Treepers,
I wanted to give you a brief update on my son Brandon‘s (I asked for prayer about a J & J “vax” appt scheduled the other day) situation.
He did NOT take the shot (yet)–Praise the Lord!!!
He was scheduled on the day that some “authority” came out w/ recommendations to Not take J & J due to blood clot issues. His girlfriend & her mother, in Canada, saw some news report on the NO J & J recommendation & then were praying & asked him not to take the shot. They are personally more comfortable w/ mRNA shots & thought it would be better for him to do a 2 shot regimen (which wouldn’t give him a window of access to Canada as he’d hoped for the end of the year).
Anyway the bottom line is that he Currently remains “vax” free. BUT he outright stated that he is “planning” to take some shot, depending on what border issues are & other considerations, in a few months because he is determined to go to Canada to be with his girlfriend for her college graduation…
So we have a bit of a reprieve, thankfully, but the issue isn’t “dead” yet…sigh…
I’m thankful that for the time-being, at least, my family remains clot shot free!
On a related note, our daughter stopped by & we chatted briefly. She’s in a work environment that is basically mask & shot-free. Her manager “is like you mom” & knows all about what’s Really Going On!!! Thankfully she has great support at work. She won’t touch the poison shot!!!
Her husband, who is finishing up his student teaching year & is rather lefty/liberal, is likely going to take the “shot” at some point. They were talking & he said if that’s the only way he can go to Canada she has to recognize how important his family’s Canadian Cottage (rental, apparently the “crown” owns everything so you get to pay for the privilege of “borrowing” it) is to him & he’ll eventually Have to go back there.
He’s planning to wait to take the shot until they’ve had at least one kid because either he recognizes the Sterility issues, or he’s trying to ease his wife’s fears on that count. She wanted A Bunch of kids, like 6. So this “shot” issue is apparently going to remain an ongoing risk in our clan…sigh.
I’m thankful for the temporary reprieve, but the Battle will still go on!

The New York Times continues to bad-mouth Novavax, which is now blessed by WHO so that third-world countries can use it. Take the NYT diss, IMO, as evidence that it’s not as bad as the others. The EU just approved it, too. Not sure about the adverse effect data, but IMO it is likely to be starkly better than the 3 genetic vaccines, which is why it keeps getting delayed in the US.

Actually I like to read. I do the videos because I know a lot of people do not have the time to sit thru 3 hours and prefer either a transcript of at least notes with time stamps.
It is my way of making sure really important info is not over looked.
I, for one, much prefer the transcript to the video, much quicker to read and possibly understand. Some people talk slowly or have accents that make hearing what they meant difficult. A three hour video is probably a half hour read for me.

We call them vaccines. But it is clear after a year of use that the mRNA shots do not produce a robust long-term B- or T-cell immune response.
What they do is drive up antibodies to the spike protein (to unnaturally high levels, levels that all by themselves may cause problems, but put that aside). And those antibodies are extremely narrowly focused, not just on the spike protein but on a particular part of it.
In other words, they basically turn your body into a factory for generating monoclonal antibodies for the original wild-type virus.
But THOSE ANTIBODIES DON’T WORK ANYMORE AGAINST OMICRON. Its shape is too different. They can’t attach properly. Which is why the Lilly and Regeneron antibodies are being phased out.
Yet the same logic that has led to the realization that the mAb cocktails won’t work is being ignored for the vaccines.
Why?
I don’t know. But the answer definitely is not a pathetic unwillingness to admit vaccine failure at all costs.

IMHO (not a doctor and not the smartest or most clued in here), I’d say to take the monoclonal for the Wuhan (now probably extinct) and Delta (waning) varieties, but not the Omicron. If you get sick more than a month from now, the monoclonal will probably be more-or-less useless because it will likely be Omicron. I believe these are products of petri dishes and not people at this point, and there should be no mRNA or mRNA-infected cells involved.
HCQ was the first common drug found to be useful against COVID — and that was very much helped by the French government tripping over themselves trying to ban it right before COVID hit France (also showing that the government was complicit in mass murder). One of the nice things about therapeutics is that they cover a broader spread of infectious agents, making it more difficult for a disease to dodge. There is some indication, for instance, that HCQ may have significant effects against ANY sort of coronavirus — including those in the past, those existing today, and any that may exist in the future (so long as they’re still a coronavirus). IVM shows a lot of the same possibilities as HCQ, though through a completely different mechanism. It’s harder for the government to “disappear” because it is used in veterinary applications as well.
If you live in any state besides California, you should be able to walk into a feed store and get Durvet brand Ivermectin for injection into cows or swine without a prescription. If you have calluses on your hands, you might not even get a second look.
The reason this is nice is that it only has three ingredients — ivermectin, propylene glycol, and something else I forget. The ivermectin is the reason you’re taking it, they use one of the other ingredients in making coffee-flavored ice cream, and the last ingredient is also pretty safe. It’s sterile and ultra-clean for injection, so when you swish it into a little water and drink it there should be no problems.
In evaluating drugs, they come up with a “clinical dose” and “LD-50”. The clinical dose is how much you need to take for it to do what you want it to. LD-50 is the dose that will kill 50% of those taking it. The ratio of one to the other is one rough measure of how safe a drug is. Ivermectin is something like 40 — you have to work on screwing it up. By contrast, acetaminophen — the active ingredient in Tylenol — has a ratio of something like 3. It is a VERY DANGEROUS DRUG and can be deadly.
That’s why you can also use the horse paste method for taking ivermectin. Unless you’re off by a factor of 10, you should be facing very little risk.

I should also note that it was very weird for governments to try to “disappear” HCQ. About 25 years ago, I was given HCQ for malaria prophylaxis for a dive trip to Fiji.
Let’s break this down a little bit. I got HCQ not because I was sick, but because it would keep me from getting sick from malaria, even if I were bitten by an infected mosquito. That means it had to be pretty safe, to swap a certain (drug interaction) for a maybe (infected bite). The reason we were going to Fiji was for SCUBA diving — that meant that HCQ had to be REALLY, REALLY safe, because a drug side-effect like vertigo or even just confusion might be the difference between a good dive and drowning.
In France, HCQ was OTC (over-the-counter, no prescription needed) because people in Paris might be informed they had to visit a tropical French colony at any time.
This is about as safe and effective as you can possibly get — and that HCQ is restricted while acetaminophen is OTC is a stunning illustration of how corrupt our pharmaceutical situation is.
I should also note that this wouldn’t have been possible if there were a bunch of physicians with independent practices and independent judgment…..they had to be forced into “medical groups” run by non-physician bureaucrats before blacklisting a time-tested and useful medication like HCQ was possible….and Obamacare made that happen.
