What “They are calling “gouging” we would call supply and demand, or supply side economics. It is something Keynesian economists will NEVER understand.

Then when you have a potato doing the manipulations it is even worse. Soon the fed will come in and really muck it up with hyper inflation by raising rates.
THEN the fun begins as corps AGAIN sit on cash to survive and do not expand, buy, invest.
The Keynesian economists do NOT understand ALL real businesses rubnn on the bottom line. More profit (bottom line goes UP) higher wages, more re investment, good times. The bottom line shrinks due to artificial manipulation, the FIRST thing to go is NOT profit, OR taxes, it is the LARGEST expense any business has, it is payroll, which means a recession becomes a depression. Obviously their goal, for in a depression, the GOVT is able to expand and TAKE more from the governed.
There is one slight problem with their “model” they forgot the END. And that is REVOLUTION. It can be an economic one or a political one. The choice is theirs.

Despite the pretense of supporting the market (at times), he remained a strong socialist, and his philosophy not only arose FROM Fabian socialist philosophy, but was used as key reading by the Fabians. I’m citing a few extracts from the book Keynes at Harvard below. Most of these have formal citations which you can verify from the book. I’ve also added a few other references, to strengthen the argument.
In sum, while Keynes was “technically” not a Fabian, he was through-and-through a Fabian in his ideas, approach, and legacy. He did more than anyone else to make Fabian socialist methods mainstream in the West. His achievements are many, including the Western welfare state, the “mixed’ economy and government intervention in business. Some of these ideas did well for a while, but these were not sustainable, and his ideas are now bringing great grief to the West.
On the political spectrum of ideas, Keynes is PRECISELY a Fabian socialist. Technical membership of the society is, in my view, irrelevant, in arriving at this conclusion.
I therefore propose to continue to treat him as a Fabian unless I find evidence to prove otherwise.

The 12th Amendment says that “no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.”
But that raises more questions, especially regarding the word “elected” in the 22nd Amendment.
“No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of President more than once.”

• 4 tablespoons (2 ounces) unsalted butter

• 1/3 cup pecans, toasted and coarsely chopped
Steps to Make It
• Preheat your oven to 250 F/121 C. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil, and spray the foil with nonstick cooking spray.
• Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then drain off the fat and let it cool. Once cool, coarsely chop the bacon into half-inch pieces.
• Place the bacon, popcorn, and chopped pecans into a large bowl and toss them together.
• In a small saucepan, combine the brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup and stir them together over medium heat. Once the sugar and butter have melted, stop stirring and insert a candy thermometer.
• Continue to cook the sugar until it reaches 238 F/114 C on the candy thermometer, which should only take 3 to 4 minutes.
• Once at the proper temperature, remove the pan from the heat, add the baking soda, and stir vigorously. The sugar mixture will foam up, so be careful during this step.
• Pour the foamy sugar over the popcorn mixture in the bowl and quickly stir everything together, making sure the popcorn, nuts, and bacon are coated with caramel.
• Spread the popcorn out on the prepared baking sheet. Bake it for about 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes to distribute the caramel.
• Once it is golden brown and crunchy, take the popcorn out of the oven and allow it to cool completely. Store bacon caramel popcorn in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott says state will bus migrants to US Capitol (kxan.com)
WESLACO, Texas (KXAN) — Gov. Greg Abbott announced Texas will start organizing charter buses to transport migrants crossing over the border all the way to the steps of the U.S. Capitol.
Abbott directed the Texas Division of Emergency Management to oversee the effort to transport migrants from Texas to Washington, D.C., which the agency’s head said would begin as early as Thursday. He shared this plan Wednesday afternoon as part of two new actions that he said would counter the impacts of the Biden administration ending the Title 42 Order.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that it will lift the Title 42 Order on May 23. The Trump administration re-enacted this public health law in March 2020 as part of its effort to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic from spreading across international borders between Mexico, Canada and the United States. For the last two years, the U.S. sent back migrants and asylum-seekers who tried to cross land borders citing the threat to public health.
“After considering current public health conditions and an increased availability of tools to fight COVID-19 (such as highly effective vaccines and therapeutics), the CDC Director has determined that an Order suspending the right to introduce migrants into the United States is no longer necessary,” a statement from the CDC read.
The governor decried the CDC’s decision when it came to light on April 1. In a statement released that day, Abbott said, “Instead of listening to the millions of Americans that his administration has endangered—and instead of enforcing immigration laws passed by Congress—President Biden has chosen to jeopardize the safety and security of those very Americans he swore to protect and defend by ending Title 42 expulsions.”
Abbott said he’s also directing the Texas Department of Public Safety to begin conducting “enhanced safety inspections” of every commercial vehicle that crosses into the state from Mexico. He warned that this will “dramatically slow traffic” in areas near the border. DPS Director Steve McCraw said troopers will identify inspection points and will start implementing this plan Thursday.
When asked whether these inspections are constitutional, Abbott argued they’re legal, but said he anticipates lawsuits to be filed.
Additionally, the Texas Military Department announced it will start conducting what it’s calling “mass migration rehearsals.” Those include placing a boat blockade on the Rio Grande River, razor wire along the river’s edge and equipping state troopers and National Guard members with riot gear.
During a news conference Wednesday afternoon in Weslaco, Abbott and the various state agency leaders involved in these efforts did not disclose what these plans will cost to implement.

I get it all the time – “Fight!,” “Hang the traitors!,” and “Real Patriots are ready to shoot!” I get complaints that I am some kind of wimp because I do not embrace a violent assault on the vile US Government. About 50% of those making such posts and comments are Feds. They are trying to ensnare you in a conspiracy trap. About 50% are legitimate, well intentioned individuals of varying levels of mental stability who believe fighting is the only way out of our current mess. Let me clear the record: whereas I do not believe things will fix themselves and a fight may eventually occur, no mater how successful your fight, you need a plan for the post-revolution you seek.
I am not only a student of insurgencies, having done my graduate thesis on how to build successful revolutions using the Iranian model, but I also spent almost 20 years working on the logistics of supporting insurgent operations. I know what is needed. My favorite aspect of insurgencies are the comms necessary to build and guide them. Revolutiomary Propaganda is crucial to support. Thanks to the US Government, I have worked in this field for decades. You – random sincere Gab Patriot – have done nothing for the revolt you seek.
There has NEVER been a successful revolution without a parallel system. Whether it was the United States of 1775, Ireland 1918, Iran 1978, or Romania 1992, you will never succeed without a “Shadow System.” Economically, Torba is right. These left-wing media companies legitimately have entire departments, dedicated to surveilling and smearing citizen journalists who talk about stuff they don’t like. In Mariupol today, more than 30 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine surrendered, left with their hands up in the area of kindergarten 91 on the Left Bank.
We also learned that “Azov” distributed its fighters among the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – one nationalist “layer” for 10 Ukrainian soldiers, just in order to prevent surrender. From there, there are constant rumors about shootings between the “Azov” and the Armed Forces of Ukraine: if you want to go out, you need to get rid of the “Azov” who will shoot in the back.
