George Soros Invested $40 Million to Help Elect Dozens of Progressive Prosecutors Across the U.S.: Study
Analysts with the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund (LELDF) found that Soros, a progressive billionaire and founder of the Open Society Foundations, has invested about $40 million over the past decade to elect dozens of progressive prosecutors, including many in the most populated U.S. cities.
Soros-backed prosecutors represent one-fifth of all Americans, and they hold office in half of the top 50 most populated U.S. cities and counties.
Cities with Soros-backed district attorneys are responsible for 40% of criminal activity in the U.S, according to the LELDF. Soros-backed candidates are known for their support of “social justice” and lax criminal justice reform proposals.
“Soros is using that campaign money and the hundreds of millions more for supporting organizations to quietly transform the criminal justice system for the worse, promoting dangerous policies and anti-police narratives to advance his radical agenda,” LELDF President Jason Johnson told The Washington Examiner, the first to publish the analysis.
And don’t some of us know it.
OPERATION “DUMP FEINSTEIN” CONTINUES
Is there really a need for another long feature story about how Sen. Dianne Feinstein is senile and needs to go? You wouldn’t think so, but New York magazine has a long cover story about how she’s lost it. Yes—strange that a magazine with a supposed focus on New York would be so interested in California’s very senior senator, and while the piece is swathed in lots of sympathetic biography for her 52-year career in public office (!), the subtext that she needs to go is impossible to disguise effectively, starting with the unflattering cover photo which makes her look like a cadaver.
Then there are the savage passages repeating and embellishing previous reporting:
Feinstein, who turns 89 in June, is older than any other sitting member of Congress. Her declining cognitive health has been the subject of recent reporting in both her hometown San Francisco Chronicle and the New York Times. It seems clear that Feinstein is mentally compromised, even if she’s not all gone. . .
Reached by phone two days after 19 children were murdered in an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, in late May, Feinstein spoke in halting tones, sometimes trailing off mid-sentence or offering a non sequitur before suddenly alighting upon the right string of words. She would forget a recently posed question, or the date of a certain piece of legislation, but recall with perfect lucidity events from San Francisco in the 1960s. Nothing she said suggested a deterioration beyond what would be normal for a person her age, but neither did it demonstrate any urgent engagement with the various crises facing the nation.
The old guard is on its way out…and with them the brains of the operation what few there are.
Hmm…. GWB does still have a no fly zone over his house in Dallas.
A Demagogue Lashes Out
There can be little doubt that Biden could use a distraction. The Biden administration has shown itself to be incompetent, irresponsible, and (on its best days) hopelessly adrift. Having reversed many of his predecessor’s policies (to the nation’s detriment) out of blind spite, Biden effectively reinstalled and rearmed the Taliban (unintentionally, perhaps, but with such a staggering display of ineptitude as to provoke Putin’s mad dash into Ukraine). Biden’s asinine energy policies — policies he obstinately refuses to modify — significantly hamper the U.S. economy by effectively strangling domestic energy production. These policy choices are so clearly irrational as to constitute an act of deliberate economic sabotage, sabotage inflicted upon the nation to gratify a small band of green energy fanatics. The southern border has been effectively abolished, exacerbating all manner of criminal activity (well beyond mere mundane illegal entries.) Most recently, the Biden administration failed to act in time to head off a national baby formula shortage. In coming days, we can look forward to worsening inflation, continuing food shortages, rolling blackouts, and a possible Chinese attack on Taiwan.
But in the Oval Office, there is hope. If only enough voters can be coached to resent the Second Amendment and to hate those who in response to scripted pleas of “Enough!” say “Not so fast — let’s do something that might actually work without undermining a fundamental right” — then perhaps Biden’s declining political fortunes may be reversed. A bizarre (though unsurprising) electoral strategy; the Democrats seem incapable of attracting voters via anything other than overheated calls for revenge. Such vulgar hatemongering is unworthy of a president, though par for the course for Biden. If Biden were serious about addressing the nation’s problems, he would work to establish a basis for bipartisan cooperation rather than using a national address to tar and feather his political opponents, but one suspects this is well beyond his capabilities and out of step with his character — or rather lack thereof.
Biden may be spent, viscous, and dull, but thanks to an obliging national media, he and his allies are not without considerable resources. A media that mindlessly parrots accusations of “white supremacy” and “systemic racism” on cue now eagerly steps forward to gin up public hysteria over “assault weapons ” and “weapons of war.” These are, of course, phantoms of the Democratic political imagination — terms of political abuse, pejorative definitions invented to scare a deliberately misinformed public into acceding to (if not demanding) the eradication of a seemingly obvious danger.
What Biden really needs is a binky, a blankie and a nap.
Tucker can be let through just this once, and only because of his guest.

It is quite clear, as per Wolf’s message from July, that we are under spiritual attack. Building up a robust arsenal of prayer and discipline is a must in fighting the enemy and his minions.
In that spirit, the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel from Tuesday’s threads, and the Breastplate of St. Patrick, not to mention the Litany of Humility are favorites recommended by exorcists in spiritual warfare.

Complete Coincidence? At Least 7 Large Farm Fires Occur in US in Last 10 Days
I would not be the least surprised if that flood over the border included some guy whose brother-in-law has an egg-laying facility in Jalisco that is struggling for lack of demand. Once he burns down an egg-laying facility in North Carolina, it’s simply connecting A and B to get things going.
It’s gonna be a long 2.5 years – with TWO cheat elections – one on either end.
There was one ballot proposition that was completely backwards. It said, should this water board have term limits of four terms of four years each? Thing is, it currently has term limits of three terms of four years each — so it purports to stiffen term limits and actually relaxes them.
WOW. How “Democrat” of them!
It’s very Democrat. The whole thing with the “Jungle Primary” is to force people to decide between two Democrats in the November election, when the top two vote-getters in the “Primary” face off.
The mechanics are so freaking obvious. First, you know the incumbent is going to be one of the top two. Then you pick six other Dems, one with statewide facial recognition. After that, the Dem operators go out and help “Republicans” get on the ballot — about a dozen of them.
What are the chances that the #2 candidate will be a Dem, so the “runoff” will be Dem v. Dem?
If the California Republican Party weren’t entirely freakin’ useless, they’d do something — draw lots, musical chairs, a pre-primary, a goddamned smoke-filled room — so that there would be ONE Republican alternative to the Dem incumbent, and if people get disgusted with the Dems the state turns Red. But, no — they’re completely complicit. They’ll play along with six Dem candidates and twelve RINO candidates in the “Jungle Primary” and set up failure after failure.
If someone talks about “Jungle Primary” in your state, vigorously oppose them — or move. The only thing worse is “ranked choice voting.”
There’s actually one candidate whose opposition mail made me want to vote for her…..except that she claimed to be “Democrat” — which might as well be “child molester” — and mouthed the usual progressive BS. That would be Lily Mei — https://lilymei.org/
Her opposition said, “when she was police chief, she destroyed a bunch of records before a law’s effective date that would have preserved police misconduct records.” I was going, “that’s the way you take care of your people against a ravenous, lawless mob.”
Another one was something like, “she arrested hundreds of leftist rioters” — oh, and the unions hate her.
If she’d have cleaned the Progressive filth off her website and run as a Republican, I’d probably would have voted for her. But, seriously, running as a Dem is a deal-killer.
That applied also for Michael Shellenberger — has a nice book out called “San Fransicko”. Running as an independent — at least he’s learned that much. Long-time resident of Berzerkly and Progressive with a capital P that rhymes with T that stands for Tool.
And it’ll end up with two equivalent Dems contending for Governor.
Communism!

Let’s do an easy lake, since I’ve been off-kilter. This is Lake Malawi.
For decades, this was known as Lake Nyassa because the locals called it that. Except the local word for “lake” is “nyassa”. If you’re schlepping around on foot, the local Lake is “lake”, and the lake 150 miles away is, “that other place”.
Here’s some fun splashing around — pay no attention to the “facts”, they’re mostly wrong.

OK, on this one, I’m going to get it on the page then do some comments…..
So, by now you’re getting used to male cichlids building breeding spots mouthful by mouthful — no doubt thinking that five more mouthfuls will get him a visit from a supermodel. They have no hands or arms, and their bowers can be quite large — which says something about their hopes and drives.
And we’ve seen the happy results for mouthbreeders — a male will lead the female in, shake alluringly, the female will lay an egg or two on the sand, they will shift positions and the female will pick the eggs up in her mouth for incubation while the male provides milt (~ sperm) to fertilize them.
We’ve seen the unhappy results when a cuckoo catfish runs through the breeding site and deposits an already-fertilized catfish egg into the process. If only one is picked up by the female, it will likely eat all the cichlid fry as she is holding and protecting them, completely erasing that breeding cycle for the cichlids.
That’s about the worst thing that can happen, but there is another glitch that can happen at the moment of fertilization.
It has come up in passing, but cichlids very frequently have different coloration when they are juveniles, when they are growing, and when they’re adults in the mood for love. And these tend to be different for males and females (although it is common for juveniles and growing females to be the same color pattern).
So when a fired-up male and a fired-up female are in the breeding site doing their best to continue their species, it is not unusual for a male fish showing juvenile colors to dart through the breeding site…..and provide some milt near unfertilized eggs.
Ichthyologists refer to these stealth males as “sneakers”. They can provide genetic material to both mouthbrooders and substrate spawners, and are the subject of active research. It is possible that the expression, “I come from a long line of bastards” may actually be possible among fish. Their reproductive strategy certainly seems more efficient than building ornate sandcastles to attract females.

Thank You, Jesus, for blessings received and prayers answered!!!
BE MY VOICE
BABY LIVES MATTER
JESUS LOVES THE LITTLE CHILDREN
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow, that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ.
AMEN.
PLEASE PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER

A question Congress needs to probe regarding FBI accountability for SCI data use – The Optimistic Conservative (wordpress.com)
I am posting this here instead of Wolf’s vax related thread because of the subject matter and its relative importance to families of children. Please forgive its length, but the pertinent points require detail. Personal knowledge about this type or related situation any of you have will be appreciated if you want to respond.
We have a grandson who was diagnosed with simple absence seizures. The specialist thinks he will grow out of them as they are mild, lasting 5-15 seconds. He has been taking prescribed meds – Ethosuximide and Divalproex. They are the only two that can be given to children. The former is from Parke-Davis, i.e. Pfizer. The drugs have not provided observable benefit and the doses have been adjusted periodically.
I want the world to know something about this that is important. The child is 9 years old and underweight from sensory issues. No coordination – could not run normally, ride a bike, throw a ball, dribble a ball, etc. School PT was not working. School OT was not working – could not even hold a pencil correctly. Yet – smart kid who is at grade level. The silent seizures started when the mandates for masks began at school. Screw the people who support that BS. No seizures before in 7 years, seizures during and afterwards. Mask requirements ended this past school year, but not before the damage was done.
Our family had discussed with other parents the healthcare improvements of their children for various other medical issues who had gone to an accomplished chiropractor in our area who is a respected industry leader. Friends have used her for their various issues for years and raved about her as she is holistic, complete body and nutrition oriented. She takes patients down to 6 months old. So we took our grandson 6 weeks ago as this has been gnawing at us.
Oh my! Praise the Lord!
Eval and x-rays were taken. Spinal atlas at neck was off 23+ mm. Hip was off 5+ mm. Curvature of the spine was off 8+ mm and headed toward scoliosis. They are all supposed to be at 1 mm or less, preferably .5 mm or less. Within 5 weeks – 75% improvement in all three. Now rides a bike, running more normal and all of the time, dribbles a baseball up and down the street, beginning to hit a whiffle ball with plastic bat, starting to throw the ball better, etc. His seizures are less and different – more mild – like short daydreaming events. The chiropractor has a niece who had a similar medical condition that she treated successfully without these meds and the girl, now 22 years old has a wonderful education and career with no evidence of any seizures in many years.
Yep.
So we go to his pediatrician and call his specialist after discussing with the chiropractor who agrees with us – the meds need to go. We need to establish a baseline and see what happens with the seizures over the summer while he is out of school. Record observational data as his mom/dad and us as grandparents keep him 24/7. The specialist will not do give the instructions without an EEG, exam and discussion in his office – nearly two months from now. Mo money, obviously. The pediatrician will not recommend, said the specialist had to do that.
As a result, we are doing it ourselves based on what we have learned from others through discussions and web research. Doing it over 4 months with a 25% daily reduction each week. The meds have side effects that our grandson has experienced for close to a year. They have increased in severity. I hate to say all of the other uses the meds have for other serious medical conditions in addition to the seizures that were probably caused by his spinal/hip misalignment that neither the pediatrician or specialist ever addressed with simple x-rays or scans prior to giving the little guy powerful drugs.
Input is appreciated.
I have no input but will pray for your grandson and the family for healing.
Thank you so much, singingsoul1. Be blessed for caring.
You are welcome 🙂 All in God’s hands
My son has a complicated history of injuries and is treated by an upper cervical specific chiropractor. Neither his primary, neurologist, orthopedics or general chiros were any help.
When the vertebrae – especially the atlas and the axis – are pressing on the “brain stem” nerves, the symptoms can be very serious. He’s now also having cranial adjustments which are helping him a lot. It’s hard to find a chiro who does them.
He (we) have been through so much trying to restore his health. I could go on forever what the traditional medical community has put him through. I stopped trusting them pre-covid. We had to figure everything out ourselves. It was exhausting. I hope your grandson recovers his health. There is nothing worse than a sick child and feeling helpless.
There is so much information I have from what we’ve been through that it’s hard to narrow it all down. I could answer specific questions if you have any. I do know that these alignment issues can be from birth. Also, the upper cervical chiros use very specific and precise techniques. They use numbers and calculations based on what the 360 scan shows. There are also occipital adjustments, as well as the cranial ones.
The bottom of this page contains a link to information about cranial adjusting that mentions seizures. The home page has links specific to pediatric evaluation and adjusting.

So much appreciation for your posts, holly. You nailed it. You confirmed exactly what he and we are going through physically and the treatment is working.
Praying for your son and your family and holly. Glad you found a solution.
I have no advice either TB but I wanted to relate that my nephew could’ve been described almost word for word (except no seizures) the same..as a baby, toddler, adolescent, teen.
Shy and smart still to this day some 30 yrs later. Has lucrative job as a programmer.
He was a twin, his twin sister had none of the issues.
Sending positive thoughts to you all
Thank you so much for the encouragement, molly.
You’re very welcome. Don’t know if you’ll swing back over to these comments again but thought I’d mention the adjustment my brother made …our family was always big sports nuts. All the kids, especially the boys played every sport and all the adulation that goes along with that.
My brother at first tried to do all the expected “boy” things with him but both of them felt defeated. Finally they managed to find hobbies that didn’t require manual dexterity or physical coordination like museums, movies, star Wars stuff, etc.
It’s a connection that worked out of love. My bro would’ve loved throwing footballs, baseballs, hoops but he has a very close relationship with his son. I’m proud of him because I know it was hard getting to that good place.
1st thing that comes to mind is who in the heck has appointed the ‘specialist’ and ‘pediatrician’ as final authority and ruler of your lives? Are there not other docs to choose from? Does Chiro, friends know any? I’d be researching for open minded docs in the area.
I think it was Kirsch who had a substack on one reason why Docs are going along w/vax nightmare. Education/Training. They learned medical models w/pre-defined parameters and everything they encounter MUST fit inside the model. They can’t troubleshoot/handle anything unique that falls outside of their pre-defined cookbooks. They MUST conform to teachers/mentors/insurance companies and cannot go against them. You have 4 of 6 symptoms of disease X? You get disease X diagnosis and 3 approved meds to treat it with. The 3 meds don’t help and just make you worse. Nevermind symptoms 5&6 are clues to something else which they won’t/can’t/don’t know how to address. But keep going back while they continue to swap out pre-approved substitutes for the 3 meds until they find the ‘right combo’ that’s surely gonna fix you. This process can take a few years while they string you along and you get steadily worse.
People have a hard time ditching their docs.(Whole other discussion) If what they’re doing is not helping and actually causing more issues, time to find a new one.
2nd – Anxiety is VERY powerful and often manifests in crippling physical symptoms. Can aggravate existing issues or create new ones. I’ve seen it manifest as epileptic seizures and also mimic heart attacks. The people aren’t even aware that they are anxious and the events come out of nowhere. Children are definitely the least equipped to deal with anxiety. Mask mandates could be trigger.
Thank you. He has anxiety which has triggered the seizures much of the time. We believe the anxiety is caused by the horrible misalignment of the past, which is changing as the neurons are starting to fire into new areas of his brain and body that were formerly blocked.
Much appreciated. There are two docs I could punch out right now. Need to cool my jets a bit before I let them know the truth.
Read about retracing. My adult son cries after a big adjustment. Says he is not in pain or upset but can’t control his emotions. He also suffers from panic attacks when his neck is out. The regular docs don’t get it. They just offer meds.
So true, Holly. Same experiences exactly. You and bflyjesusgrl have made our family’s day. I have read your posts to them. Burden relieved to know we are on a good track.
Keep doing what you know is working, don’t let anyone disuade you from it.
Also DIET is very important. No sugar, msg, processed/fried foods, white flour, soy, crap for kids. Lots of water.
CBD in small doses may help w/anxiety, relax nerves and skeletal muscles. I’d look at melatonin, magnesium, other supplements that help with calm and relaxation. Definitely much safer than epileptic meds.
Great suggestions. Will consult along these lines with the chiro since she is works the nutrition side as well.
Yours Truly can testify that anxiety and/ panic-anxiety issues are dreadful. The emotional, psychological, and physical effects are widespread. Sometimes it’s difficult / impossible to discover the underlying triggers. There are licensed counselors who work with children. Yours Truly believes that children should not be put onto psychotropic medications unless there’s no other option.
Agreed, RDS. The pediatrician gave a recommendation of a counselor if we chose to go that route prior to starting with the chiropractor. We told him the specialist had prescribed Clobazam for the anxiety and that he would not be given a third drug – period. He said the chiro, whose office is literally right next door to the doc, may provide a little help, but not to expect much.
He could not have been more wrong.
Sometimes people feel they can’t switch docs because their insurance only deals with certain ones.
Sometimes your health is more important and you must pay out of pocket. Insurance companies be damned!
Which is what we have been doing for PT with him through our local Children’s Hospital therapy services. The parent’s insurance has not paid well, so we are paying to have a true professional children’s therapist involved. She got more done in two months of once per week therapy than the school’s therapist did in nearly 4 years.
Depending on what state you are in there Might be community mental health services or similar. We used to get center based &/or in-home PT, OT, Speech Therapy, Sensory Integration Therapy, & psychologist services when my son was younger. Our insurance & son’s Medicaid meant in our case no out-of-pocket costs. We also got such services in a hospital outpatient clinical setting for years.

Yours Truly is so sorry to hear of the issues with your young grandson.
My autistic step-grandson is on a medicine to reduce / control the epilepsy that he also has. I think the current medication is the 4th one that’s been tried. Even with that, he still has to undergo a once-yearly 24 hour sleep deprivation period, then go to the hospital and get a yearly brain scan. His mother is a neurologist, as is her second husband (my son) — both of them are “AMA all the way”. Neither one of them would think of taking the child to any chiropractor. Apparently, no nutritionist has been consulted as to diet for hte child. And — guess what? — the child is “fully vaccinated” and “boosted.”
IMO, it may be that your grandson had hypoxia, caused by being forced to wear a mask for hours on end while in school. So there may be oxygen deprivation involved with what happened to him. My opinion — NO MASK FOR THIS BOY. PERIOD.
The thing that Yours Truly can recommend (based on “been there, done that” while caregiving for ill, elderly people at home) is to keep the most detailed daily notes you can regarding what you do to take care of your grandson — everything from exact dosages of medicine and when given, what you observe, to when the child goes to bed, quality of sleep, type of exercise done and when, etc.
Yours Truly is of the opinion that NO CHILD needs to get ANY of the COVID-19 “vaccines.” Not only because children are 99+% capable of full recovery if they DO get infected — but also the “vaccines” will damage their immune and reproductive systems, among other issues.
Wow – thank you for your post, RDS. We started the log today as we wean him off this mess. We had his teachers recording at school, but they were hit and miss with all the activity and other kids to deal with. Our daughter has already told the school if they requires masks again – he gets homeschooled and they get reported to the state until the mandate is lifted for him and others like him. Not putting up with the BS any more.
Also start weaning the grandkids and any now or future great-grand-kids off the vaccines. As few as possible. Only those that seem necessary.
When I read about all these kids with neurological problems – utterly unlike when I was a kid – I’m certain that this is autoimmune baggage from too many vaccines, and too many at the same time.
We are not being honest about the downsides on vaccination, and it’s causing problems. There has not been true feedback to the science, and the problems have gotten worse.
Absolutely agree!!!
Record everything daily! Food, meds, symptoms, Appts, etc…..
Starting my 4th book next month. $7 @ Walmart
Absolute AMEN.
Thank you – showed it to her and our daughter purchased the same style and color from Walmart with the current years this evening. Already started with it. 👍
That’s AWESOME!!
When my FIL had multiple myeloma I got one for him. There was tons of info, meds, and appts to keep up with and it really kept us organized. A few years later I got one for me to help me manage myself, LOL. Been using every since.
I record meds/times, supplements, food, symptoms, appts, etc. Helps me troubleshoot any issues that arise. Has reallly helped w/all the added vitamins during WuFlu. I’ve had a couple issues I traced back to taking too much and was able to identify and correct. Luv my book!
So much of modern culture is geared toward making us forget our history, our memories…..last week.
How else can they talk about improving the chocolate ration from 25 grams to 20?
Notebooks, daybooks, and diaries are practically revolutionary.
For school interventions you might look into a Section 504 plan or even an IEP (Individualized Educational Plan) if he qualifies. There are legal mandates in place to allegedly assist children w/ various special needs…
I have a long & painful history dealing with Special Education & advocating for my very complex autistic spectrum & other medical needs son. I did A Lot of self-education at
WrightsLaw.com
where Pete & Pam Wright have Many materials to assist parents, educators, & legal professionals in addressing the learning needs of kids.
There are sections based on diagnoses (we used Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, & so much more) & many categories that could be dug into.
In my experience No One cares for the needs of your family member more diligently than you do, but putting in place the documentation supporting legally mandated interventions May assist in the child getting better care & education while in school…& sometimes even when on breaks…
Thanks – yes – he is in IEP. The problem has been is that the therapists have not proven competent and the county schools’ psychologist is the least competent of all of them. The school PT therapist actually told our daughter in an IEP meeting that our grandson would never be able to dribble a basketball or ride a bike in her opinion. She’s had him for 4 school years. In only four-1 hour sessions with the private therapist he began doing those things and others very well. The school therapists are all paint by the numbers, paycheck seeking goofballs. So we have pulled him out of school PT and OT to go with private therapists. Now he is making excellent progress. We are leaving him in the IEP for one more school year to get assistance with his OT needs in the classroom only. No pulling him out of the classroom to do useless crap that only justifies them getting a paycheck. Over it.
His parents and I were in the IEP meeting for the end of the school year. My daughter asked me to make my thoughts clear to the team. They now know where we stand as a family in no uncertain terms. His teacher is a close personal friend of our family and was in attendance. She called us later and was laughing so hard she could barely breathe. She said our meeting and comments made her day. Our teacher friend was named teacher of the year for the grade level in our county and was publicized on local TV. She has our backs and we have hers. FWIW, she has a young son with medical issues who is also delayed. Guess who is now taking her son to the same chiro because she has seen the strong progress of our grandson right in front of her eyes every day? Yep.
This all has far reaching benefits for so many people. Thanks for joining in and offering help, Valerie. 😀
What wonderful news!!! So glad you have a teacher in your family’s corner! That is HUGE!
My son’s teacher “case manager” went along w/ the special ed administration & so would never agree to label my son as autistic. I would bring up his diagnosis & traits in Every IEP. Toward the end of his Senior Year, near graduation, she admitted that he was clearly on the autism spectrum–whatever!
You guys might find some great ammo at Wrightslaw to tweak what you are already apparently doing very well! Awesome news–thanks for sharing!!!
Agreed about hypoxia – that fits perfectly with the spinal impingements as causing neurological exacerbation of seizures.
This is ALL adding up.
Note that chronic hypoxia is a factor in Obstructive Sleep Apnea, as well, which interrupts sleep cycles and leads to all sorts of bad craziness.
Can it lead to good craziness? If so, perhaps it’s better not to fix it. Interesting question.
From my experience, OSA is wholly bad.
And, BTW, I’m getting some symptoms.
My usual machine got a factory recall, and they’re saying that they won’t replace it for another seven months. In the meantime, I had a backup machine that provides minimal effective pressure…..and I’m starting to have symptoms I last saw when I was 40.
That is BULLSHIT! This is why Trump had to get people building ventilators for COVID.
You don’t know the half of it. Start with the concept of DME (“Durable Medical Equipment”). If it’s prescribed for you and your insurance allows you to have it, you can’t own it — it is leased to you at a rate where you would pay for it in a year were it not for the “interest and lease overhead” in your payment. It typically isn’t paid off for roughly three years.
But with Obamacare, the chance you will have the same insurance policy for three consecutive years is basically zero. So it isn’t yours, you can’t just buy it, and the lease will never be paid off.
I would very much like to see DME treatment limited to items that are over $10,000 — but that would put a hard clamp on the grift, and will likely never happen.
How much do these devices typically cost?
Oxygen deprivation could also mean that HyperBaric Oxygen Therapy could help!
I think you’re now doing the right thing.
BIGGEST PICTURE – We have to take responsibility for our own practice of medicine, with “experts” acting as consultants, essentially. The WINNING CONSULTANTS get trust in proportion to what they bring in terms of success. Yet we also have to “forgive them” when they act logically on limited knowledge – i.e., they do the right thing after missing something. Avoid being binary on “good doctor, bad doctor” – but be skeptical of ALL OF THEM.
DRUG REDUCTION – always a good idea, and don’t wait for the doctor’s permission. Be fully engaged about side effects, unnecessary drugs, and substitution of things like good diet, exercise, and healthy habits or quitting of habits.
THIS IS SCIENCE – it looks to me like nervous system impingements in the neck and spine can either cause or exacerbate CNS problems in the brain – makes lots of sense – may be some kind of feedback effect. There is likely existing allopath science that backs this up, but most docs would never think of checking for it, IMO. I can forgive the doctors for missing this, and also realize that the chiropractor “got it” with some luck, because of their bias toward the factual cause. Bottom line – this child is sensitive to spine issues aggravating core CNS issues. Good to know.
Drugs are the 95% solution that is pushed by Rockefeller medicine. Time for a doctor-patient rebellion against government-science tyranny.
Boom! Thanks for your input, Wolf. Mirrors statements made by Dr. Beighle, his chiro. She utilizes the techniques that holly’s, Dr. Rosen, uses/teaches. She mentors and coaches other chiros through the AMC.
Uncanny how the words that you posted mirrored my impressions and words spoken to my family. I am much more confident in our current and future approach as a family. Again, much appreciation.
As Uncle Si said on Duck Dynasty, “It’s on like Donkey Kong!”
Meant to add, Dr, Beighle even stated that if after her initial evaluation she determined she could not help him, she would let us know. After review of his x-rays and exam, she would not let us leave the office before treating him once we approved the protocol. She gave our daughter her personal mobile number for follow-up and wants all videos we take of his activity. Our grandson loves her and cannot wait for his treatment each time because he feels better. He gets sleepy right after a treatment and after a rest is off to the races.
Personal relationship with the doc is an important component. When you’re respected as an individual, the treatment works better.
When you feel like a just a number, you probably are.
Meant to say 4 weeks instead of months with a 25% reduction each week. Will slow the reductions down if we notice any uptick in seizure frequency or severity.
TradeBait2
Without knowing the dosage your grandson takes, and what dosage amount you believe may be the optimal dose, or if the goal is to wean him off the medication completely—IMO, at least 7 days between the titrated down doses may be the schedule. You may wish to consider 10 days. You are correct to closely monitor for any changes in the child. It’s important to give him the medication at the same time of day (or evening).
Lol, my phone decided to use my other avatar. I need to speak to my phone about this. (sarc)
Confirmation I needed to hear as well. Thanks RDS. The dosage levels are considered moderate for a child his age and weight. We are confident he has developed immunity to the Ethosuximde as the dosage was adjusted upward two times and stopped providing any benefit. Apparently a common issue with that med. They then reduced it a bit and added the Divalproex. They then wanted him to take the Clozabam for anxiety, which was not going to happen and we started down our new path.
So far today with the reduced dose that began yesterday – no seizures observed at all and we have been with him as a family 24/7 on vacation. Hope it continues.
I agree with Butterfly about CBD for the anxiety. Chamomile tea is a gentle calmer, too.
When he is a little older, past 12 or so, my very favorite herb for anxiety is American skullcap. It has saved my life through the covid insanity.
Thanks, Aubergine. Dr. Beighle brought up CBD and will be making recommendation on it next week. Any particular brand or anything we need to know?
There are so many around now, just find a reliable, lab-tested source. You can probably find a supplier locally, depending on which state you live in.
I will be praying for your little one. Poor baby. I hate it when children are troubled by illness.
Just to be sure, what’s the official name of American skullcap?
I just ran into something recommending butcher’s broom. I’ve got a large butcher’s broom plant next to my front door but I think it is Ruscus hypophyllum —
It has never had a flower that looked like a flower or a fruit that looked like a fruit. When we bought it, it was called “bug plant” and we have divided it to the point where the one on our porch is 1/256th of the original plant.
I’d be really cautious about using my “butcher’s broom” for recommendations of “butcher’s broom” that are Ruscus aculeatus.
Good question! Smart to ask.
It is Scutellaria lateriflora.
The Chinese one is Scutellaria baicalensis. It is good for other things, but not anxiety.
“The specialist will not do give the instructions without an EEG, exam and discussion in his office – nearly two months from now. Mo money, obviously. The pediatrician will not recommend, said the specialist had to do that.”
_____________
“And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day?” (Luke 14:5, KJV)
So these two quacks would leave your grandson, who is of far greater value than any ox, they would leave him in a pit for the next 8 sabbaths?
What kind of monsters are they?
.
“I hate to say all of the other uses the meds have for other serious medical conditions in addition to the seizures that were probably caused by his spinal/hip misalignment that neither the pediatrician or specialist ever addressed with simple x-rays or scans prior to giving the little guy powerful drugs.”
_____________
You might want to contact an attorney who specializes in medical malpractice.
And why didn’t the school discover his possible Scoliosis?
8+mm is nearly 1/3rd of an inch. That should have been spotted.
When I was in grade school, they gave us a basic Scoliosis exam every year. I don’t remember if it was in gym class or whether the school nurse did it, but I remember the exam.
Scott – thanks for your post. It has been a total fail since the child was born. I won’t go into it all, but it was rough delivery and he has needed PT, tonsils/adenoids out, ear tubes, reflux medication, nutrition adjustments due to lactose intolerance, etc. off and on since birth. The chiro said the issues all started at delivery.
Throughout it all he has been the best behaved and happiest child I have ever known.
None of his docs have ever looked at anything spinal related. Nada. No x-rays even with all of the PT since he was 13 months old. Despite the fact he could not even hold a pencil correctly at 8 years old. Could basically do nothing physical anywhere near his age. The x-rays the chiro took were his first. The school does not do the scoliosis test anymore, just a hearing test.
Yep – two docs playing games to legally cover their tracks. School therapists who are there only for their paychecks. But the specialist wanting one last money grab to tell us how to wean him off the poison? He can stick it up his arse.
The case is there if the kids want to pursue. Will leave it up to them, but we will be letting our circle of friends know about both of the docs.
There are no historical records of people dying from epilepsy until doctors started prescribing these terrible anti-seizure pharmaceuticals. Good to hear that the poor child is getting off them. Also, tobacco has natural anti-seizure benefits. I understand not wanting to give a child tobacco, but throwing it out there just in case.
Thank you, Sadie. They are terrible and the little guy hates having to take them.
Might use the tobacco as a fun recommendation to lighten our daughter’s and SIL’s moods a bit. Throw a pack of Marlboros down on the table and tell them to let him light one up in his cowboy outfit. 🤣
Alternatively, he could smoke a pipe. You could get him a tweed jacket with leather patches on the elbows.
lol – the Professor.
Prayers.
Thank you!
I have a dear friend who is a cranial-sacral therapist. She would agree with the course you are taking, getting him off the meds. The physical alignment of the body can absolutely throw off every other system.
I am sure you have researched the drugs thoroughly to determine any possible side effects from coming off of them.
Children’s bodies and brains are more resilient than ours. I think he will be fine. Good for all of you for getting him off of pharmaceuticals he doesn’t need.
Oh, and I’ll bet good money he gains weight as the drugs leave his system.
You are such a blessing to me and mine, Aubergine. Thank you! Have relayed your post to our daughter.
Yes – we have completed deep dives on these meds and it is frightening. Especially when we learned he was underage and obviously underweight when the specialist prescribed the Divalproex. He was 8 years old with the weight of a 6 year old and the med clearly states 10 years of age and older. 😡
It is unfortunate, but I have seen this kind of thing a lot. Doctors think pharmaceuticals are the solution for everything, and will prescribe what they should NOT just to pass you along.
What a difficult situation. Please consider keeping detailed charts of things as much as possible w/ dates & times & dosages as they reduce. Also keep track of activities & foods & any supplements he takes. Any seizures or other “side effects” should also be charted, including severity & duration. If he recognizes what’s happening to him please encourage him to speak up if the issues aren’t directly noticed by caregivers. If you are all diligent this is likely to be better charting than would be done if he were in some type of program.
Kudos & hang in there!!!
With all the complexities w/ my own special needs son I always said that ONLY GOD knows exactly what’s going on with him for sure. Expert advice Always w/ a grain of salt!
Adding prayer, appropriate scriptures, & even praise & worship music can also have a significant positive impact, as can Christian kids’ programming, like old-school Veggie Tales..
Please keep us posted with developments & thanks for sharing your situation.
God Bless you all & strengthen, guide, & direct you as you care for this precious child’s unique & likely changing needs. ❤
FWIW – guess who is learning the song, Victory in Jesus, from the awesome Bo Steele (The Band Steele) YouTube video? Yep.
Thank you again for your input.
You’re welcome. My son, Josiah, has had anxiety issues, depression, & OCD all as part of the nexus of autistic challenges that can be so typical for kids on the spectrum. His worshipful & prayerful relationship w/ the Almighty have been Big Factors in helping him cope & sometimes (at least temporarily) overcome some of these challenges!
This blog post details some of Josiah’s battle w/ anxiety in a faith crisis…

It is being stated by almost all that Joe Biden is the worst President in history. If inflation is not quickly rained in, he may go down as an equal combination of Herbert Hoover and Jimmy Carter, with Jimmy’s only words of wisdom being that our Country SHOULD NOT USE MAIL-IN BALLOTS FOR VOTING BECAUSE THEY WILL LEAD TO VERY CORRUPT ELECTIONS!!!
LMAO! TOO MUCH TRUTH!!! WE’RE NOT WORTHY!!!
Saw on Truth Social and people were noting his misspelling of the word reined as rained – an a replacing the e. They were pointing to a Q post that also mentions an a for an e misspelling. I have read so much this morning that I forget its significance, but I will try to find it again and bring it here if I do.

Wonderful .. thank you 🙂🤚❤️‼️
Of course it was. When i dropped off our ballots, we were the first ones of the day, on Saturday. Its rigged, and although we continue to vote, more people stopped or have left it seems.
Makes me want to develop advertising themes for the Democratic National Committee.
“Vote Democrat. We count and count and count on your vote.”
No kidding. Cagop is throwing the election too. Their endorsed R for gov has zero chance and they know it. Same with multiple other offices. Makes me sick. My county was conservative until 2008, funny that. And while certain offices are still conservative, most of the county, likely in part due to dominion and the laws passed by the state itself, is blue. Mr gil needs to hang onto his job 4 yrs at least bc of the difference in retirement pay but its getting hard for him to do so.
So the Post Office (filled with “commie AF” workers) can add all the ballots needed.
Yeah. I take it to a voting and drop off fire station but its so depressing that our viting is worthless. Its why ive said voting wont solve our problems in November. People best be prepared for plan b,c,d.

I think I missed fish dicks!!!
How lucky we are. 😆
South Park is a guilty pleasure. In one episode the fish stick joke becomes a global sensation. The joke is about as funny as the bi-girl joke, and gets as much attention. What is really hilarious (in both cases) is the absurd attention the joke gets:

My theory – there is a security flaw in USB-C that WEF and EU want.
Uh-Oh Apple, The EU Is Mandating Universal USB-C Charging For All Smart Phones, Making Your Lightning Adapter Obsolete

Hey Tim Cook!
It’s time to be an AMERICA FIRST company and tell EU to GTH.
Stop selling Apple in Europe, and watch the European leaders get destroyed by their own people.
Steve Jobs would stand up to this stuff. Tim Cook is a weak roll-over for the globalist scum.
That’s not what he usually rolls over for.
I can forgo my iPhone seldom use it. Take pics of my vegetables that should be interesting to the snoops.
Didn’t notice the “security flaw ” thing being talked about in the article so found these. The first seems more applicable to charging devices, the second link more about USB’s in general, but they both demonstrate what the security flaws might be.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/zakdoffman/2020/07/20/hackers-can-now-trick-usb-chargers-to-destroy-your-devicesthis-is-how-it-works/?sh=2c367f1c5bf2

Thanks! These are highly relevant as they demonstrate USB insecurity, but you can be sure that – in order to be useful to intelligence agencies – the security flaws they are protecting are currently “unknown” – i.e., “zero days”.
Those security flaws allow your phone to be snooped by TSA, etc.
Apropos of nothing in particular, I’m setting up an “internet browsing” qube and I’m trying to recall what the recommended browser and search engine are.
If you’re doing it in a Qube, you have far more flexibility in many ways.
However, what are you concerned about? If having your ISP know all the websites you visit makes you queasy, that’s a DNS thing.
Meh, not quite talking about that, though privacy is going to also be a consideration( whonix will alleviate that).
As I recall, some search engines censored searches (e.g., google) and some did not. And I recall there were other “political” issues with browsers too. Last I heard Brave and DDG were OK (and were reasonably private too). That’s what I’m trying to confirm.
I still use DDG a lot. Brave is not as good, but better than Google, Bing, etc. Also consider Yandex, presearch, and seekr.
You’re comparing Brave (A browser) to a bunch of search engines?
Or is there also a brave search engine?
There IS a brave search engine. Mildly woke.
Ah, with that cleared up, are we still preferring brave browser over, say Firefox? (No way am I running that google one.)
I still trust Brave and Firefox browsers SOMEWHAT, mostly because they seem to be quietly backing off from “max woke”. On both browsers, I turn off all woke features like news and notifications immediately.
I don’t think Brave was ever all that much woke, being as the woke mob ran their CEO out of Firefox.
I also tend to use Brave where I actually allow Javascript, because the CEO is the guy who invented Javascript and probably knows more about its vulnerabilities than most.
Some of their underlings are woke, and their search engine is somewhat woke. I’ve studied them intensely, for signs of woke infection. I was an early adopter of the search engine. They have wokies working there. If Eich weakens, they will take over, just like they took over Mozilla.
Well, I noticed that Brave seems to block ads better than firefox, so I switched over to “nightly” being the default.
Another GREAT advantage of Brave. And Nightly is nice in that things get fixed VERY fast.
Was using it last night. Imported my bookmarks from Firefox and then gave Firefox amnesia (deleted all bookmarks, cleared all history and cookies).
Brave is NOT supported by the Qubes OS people, Firefox is. I will continue to use Firefox for disposable virtual machines and the like–that’s for internet sites likely to introduce malware and cruft–but my day-to-day standing browser will be Brave Nightly for the foreseeable future.
(I also have regular Brave installed. BTW it’s hard to tell the two apart when they’re running. I thought, in fact, I had accidentally opened regular Brave when I opened BN to import bookmarks.)
When I say Brave isn’t supported, it *really* isn’t supported. You can’t install it as readily as you can Firefox, because it goes through flatpaks that need crypto keys to function; it can’t just be done with “sudo apt install.” I had to do some hoop jumping with downloading the flatpak then copying it to the Qube where I wanted to install it and unpacking it on the machine. Qubes is actually having a discussion about this; making it easy to deal with flatpaks would actually compromise the templates (which should never be allowed direct access to the internet). I came up with a method that avoids this, but you still, of course, have to trust the software itself.
Supposedly, all the Google crap that’s in Chrome is absent in Chromium.
I know there is a gnome browser out there too.

May have already been posted, but this is my first time to see the list of this class of graduates…
https://rwmalonemd.substack.com/p/wef-graduates-in-the-usa-elected?s=r
Reminded that a a FEC report for the local area might also be useful.
Plenty of republicans in there – Elise Stefanik, Tom Cotton, Dan Crenshaw, Nikki Haley, Adam Kinzinger. Probably many more he doesn’t yet have listed.

There are quite a few more in the comments of the above:

Nasty Nikki.
Vivek Murthy, MD, is the current Surgeon General of the United States. He was born in England of parents who were from India. The family came to the United States.
He was the recipient of a Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans.
Paul Soros (died in 2013) was George Soros’ brother. Daisy Soros, his widow, is still alive.
OMG, that explains why he’s so bad. He’s a SOROS BOY.
It’s great that this is being brought to the fore. These people need to be asked about this, over and over.
Question: Why does anyone need an AR-15?
Answer: Because the AR-15 Can Deter a Mob

Ask Kyle.
Amen.
“Question: Why does anyone need an AR-15?”
________
The same reason the 2nd Amendment exists for every other weapon, to defeat a tyrannical government.
Every other purpose is secondary to that one, and always has been.
And people should say that, to every politician’s face, every time any of them ask that question or try to infringe on the 2nd Amendment with any other legislation.
The right to keep and bear arms is for the specific purpose of stopping corrupt and tyrannical GOVERNMENT.
And that means YOU, politician.
Say it right to their faces.
The left encourages violent mobs.
Our guns deter violent mobs.
The left wants our guns.
“No.”
“You don’t have any right to my guns, even if I had any, which I don’t because they ended up at the bottom of the Marianas Trench.”
Pesky rogue wave tipped my boat over.
Quite an accomplishment in Montana!
On Flathead Lake, you might as well be on the ocean! The winds whip up some pretty good waves.
An Interview by a Uvalde Teacher who survived the attack even though his 11 students did not.
https://citizenfreepress.com/breaking/uvalde-teacher-i-will-never-forgive-police/
Some of the comments were interesting. Why didn’t the teachers lock their doors to the class rooms? Also noted was that this guy is reading off of something as he talks. Meanwhile we still don’t know anything about the status of the principle and vice principle during the attack? Maybe out joy riding with the resource officer?
Eleven students? Good grief, when I was a kid the typical class had 22-25 students in it. And no “teacher’s aide” either.

True the Vote’s Catherine Engelbrecht: “We have a lot of information that’s yet to come out, far more than what you’ve seen in 2000 Mules. We believe even more explosive, yet ahead. And the strategy… it’s gonna be to go loud.”
She says law enforcement needs the courage to move forward knowing the people have their backs.
“We’re about to go big, go loud…”
“Law enforcement” oh goody! 😁
Yea, right, we’ll see … “To Protect and Serve” is one thing … but the pension is quite another! … just sayin’ …
Oh I don’t have any high expectations but I’m certainly ready to be loud. 😜
Same here! WE WILL BE LOUD!!!
The problem is ‘who’ do they protect & serve? Lots of the time it’s the political hacks.
Observance. The news keeps telling me the temperature for the day is about 2 to 3 degrees higher than it ever gets. This has been happening regularly where they keep saying we will be setting a new record for the day. Example told to expect 102 degrees today, but the high only got to 97 degrees. Alexa keeps confirming their forecasts but when I ask Alexa later in the day the temp never matches the forecast but for one day since summer began. They are obviously setting public opinion, at least down here, up to support the climate hysteria they are using to push through the new green deal.
I’ve found it hard to look up what the weather was like a few days ago, sometimes can’t even find out about yesterday. Maybe my google fu is no good.
Here you go. The NOAA publishes daily weather data from each NWS station, but it’s hard to find on their clunky website.
https://www.weather.gov/wrh/climate
Today we had lots of little strange violent spouts of wind and rain. It is as if someone empties a bucket of water violently. Then the sun comes out and an hour later the same happens. Strange weather this year.
Yes, this sounds VERY LIKELY. Even if it’s not a conspiracy, it could easily be an “unchecked and in fact promoted social bias of the mainstream”.
I’ve suspected for a long time that they’ve been lying about hurricane intensity. Hurricane Laura, for example, was officially a category 4, but pics of the storm damage afterward don’t match standard category 4 damage. Damage was closer to a Cat 1 storm. Private wind reports from area support it being Cat 1, too.
You know they are lying about it – they lie about everything. It’s intentional. They do the same thing with tornadoes, flooding, etc. All to build a narrative to accomplish their goals.
Amen. Science is now seriously messed up by these woke attitudes.
Maybe they run the data through Dominion machines.
They’re setting expectations for you to believe that it’s hotter than ever so when there’s no natural gas for the electrical grid and we have no power and no A/C you’ll blame it on climate change instead of Creepy. AS IF!!! 🙄🤬🙄

Thank you for your trip report. Safe travel 🙂
I love Chattanooga Hotel is that the University hotel? I can tell they pray in every room.
For almost 13 years I drove to Atlanta for my classes and the Monastery. Always stopped in Chattanooga if I got away late otherwise in Knoxville.
My post was not clear. It was a Hilton Garden Inn. Recently renovated. Very nice.
That sounds nice also. 🙂
There will be no gun bills. Lots of smoke but no fire.
That is great news.
It’s unfortunately also false.
House just passed a bill to raise the minimum age for a semiauto rifle to 21.
No, it’s not a law, yet…but pgroup2 said “bill”
In March the House passed some minor legislation that the Senate to my knowledge did not work on. Meanwhile Chuckie had something he set aside just before Buffalo and Uvalde, likely stuff he was going to try to wrangle into other spending bills. Right now both Houses have rolled out mega proposals but they are still working through them so nothing has been passed in either House just yet as best as I can figure.

I’m sure those geniuses over there know that Gatling Guns are neither automatic or semi-automatic [although Maxim guns are]. So 18-21-y-o’s could own and fire Gatling Guns but not semi-automatic .22 vermin rifles.
It appears like a former story in question actually has legs.

Hi Q-Treeper Family!
It’s been a busy couple of weeks, being out of town for an extended holiday week(end) & then getting busy, while being pretty tired, at home.
Hubby & I celebrated our 30th Anniversary the other day! We had a nice meal out & were going to use a $50 gift card only to discover it had been already fraudulently used in Georgia–sigh…we still enjoyed our special dinner.
I hit the church’s food ministry today & got through the process in about 20 minutes, the quickest it’s ever been. Apparently they are suspending food distribution in July but plan to resume in August. They handed out a flyer for some area alternatives.
Gas prices are running mostly about $5.19 around here now, having just been $4.2/39 mostly in Gaylord last week. Usually it’s roughly 10 cents cheaper downstate but not in Bye-Done’s American gulag…
Hubby has been busy jumping through hoops on his CDL-A licensure. He has completed tanker testing, & a haz-mat training course online that really didn’t teach him anything more than he’d already learned between trucking school literature & some online tutorials he’d taken for free. Of course this online “required” course cost more money–sigh. He’s supposed to take that haz-mat test tomorrow, assuming the Secretary of State has received his stellar scores by then. He also had to register w/ the TSA, for more money, of course. Thankfully he got his approval that day, instead of the 6-8 weeks they’d anticipated. His fingerprints were registered…again…
He has another job interview scheduled for Friday. This is a second interview w/ a likely offer….
Please pray for the Lord to clearly direct him in his employment choice. We’re hoping that he might start working as early as next week, but just don’t know. He really wants to drive locally &/or regionally & be home every day & have weekends off. Good benefits & pay are also important. So many parameters to juggle that we really need the Lord’s wisdom & favor to make the “best” choice for us going forward.
Our son & daughter-in-law should be having our first grandchild in under 3 weeks. This weekend we’re hosting a small grad party for hubby from trucking school, son-in-law from U of M Dearborn w/ his teaching degree (he’s looking for work for this fall, having completed student teaching this spring), & our son from Fire Academy. The following weekend our young guys & friends are to have Josiah’s “bachelor party” Up North at my parents’ Cottage. His wedding is late July, 7 years to the day from his Liver Transplant.
Lots going on around here!
Thanks for praying for us as God brings us to mind. We so appreciate this encouragement & support!!!! ❤
God Bless you all Richly!
Tell the one with the teaching degree to work for charter schools or private schools.
Good point. He’s trained in elementary special ed, so not sure if that is “needed” in those places, but I’ll mention it!
We had a Very Insightful conversation about some of my very difficult experiences in special ed, historically battling for my son, over the holiday weekend. He actually read my blog post (below) & discussed the implications & more with me.
His take was that the school refusing to label my son as autistic & going after “cognitively impaired”, a label I never agreed to, was a large part of their educational malpractice & disability discrimination. He was shocked that Josiah never received mandated ABA therapy, neither from the school nor community mental health, both of which had an Obligation to provide such interventions…sigh…

Our godkid’s mom spent soooo muuuuuch time fighting through the bureaucracies about Individual Education Plans and the like — for her own kids and their cousins and friends.
I mostly only ever fought for my own kid, as it was So Exhausting & incredibly draining. I did help a single mom at our church w/ a couple IEPs for her autistic son. Your godkid’s mom is a true heroine! Hats Off!!!
It’s all about wearing parents down and not spending extra district money on kids.
That’s certainly part of it 🙁
Keep track of all these trucker education/licensing expenses — there is a chance they may be deductible (depending on what happens the rest of the year). Don’t get your hopes up too much, but it’s a good habit to get into.
Thanks for the tip! Taxes…blech!
It’s the little things.
If he beat her, it would be wonderful.

Read somewhere that the Turtle has directed Cornyn to go to the Dems and find “middle ground” on gun control.
So which half of the existing gun laws will he be agreeing not to repeal?
Oh, wait…
Cornyn put Collins, the Alaskan Cow, and a few other select RINOs on the committee, imagine that?
Absolutely sick.
A lot of good patriots will die because of these traitors. Sad to say.
Now raise voting age and military age.

The Second Amendment is about the power that is reserved in the citizenry to curate a balance so that Americans are not overrun by tyranny.
That power belongs to The People, not to the Democrats trying to take their rights away and make their schools less safe.

Lower Obamacare “use your parents’ insurance age” from 26.
Yup. It’s time to “synchronize” rights with responsibilities. If it makes Demmunists cry, it’s probably good.
That would be a real common sense compromise and of course the dems would never go for it, they’d rip out all furniture first and toss at you, so the Republicans should certainly do it. 😆
They really should demand it and then watch the debate cool after the temper tantrums.
Agree and do not forget driver license . I see the car as a weapon because in the wrong hands it is a weapon. Drunk drivers, people racing, plowing down people at parades and road rage. I am sarcastic but only half way because I see the car as a weapon in the wrong hands.
It will force the issue. If they can drive a car, they can own a handgun.
No guns? No cars. No draft card. No worries.
Amen 🙂
I was around for the lowering of the voting age because of the draft.
No guns? No votes! No cars! No military service!
Make the complicit Bidenazi Pentagram dry up their pool of volunteers. Age ’em a bit – they’ll be better! 😉
It’s time to hit the Woke military where it hurts. They back this criminal regime, and threaten us with their psy-ops and software. They take the blame along with Brandon the Traitor.
Great ideas 🙂
Lots of kids from the place where I live join military and they are not woke. They are sharp as tacks.
Give them three more years to become PATRIOTS before they descend into the GAY HELL-HOLE of the woke military.
Amen
“Unconstitutional”??
He says that as if it were different from every other piece of gun legislation ever passed.
Two R clowns from OH of all places. My town is armend to its teeth not to mention the Hallows. They will be very angry,
Protesters are back at Kavanaugh’s house.
SCOTUS needs to release the decision and be done with it. I don’t know if that would stop the protests, but it would relieve the tension of uncertainty.
Yep, Cotton demanding same on Ingraham. Our side called for release at time of leak, shudda done it then.

They thought trotting out Matthew McConaughey would make us forget that they stole the election, organized Antifa and BLM riots, tore our historic statues down, committed treason overthrowing an elected President, forced mask mandates and vaccine passports on us, gave us 6 dollar gas, baby formula and food shortages, inflation, defunded the police, called us domestic terrorists and tried to take away our right to defend ourselves… well that ain’t gonna happen. #NeverForget

According to Rasmussen, 85% of voters still haven’t seen @Dinesh_DSouza‘s “2000 Mules” – but the story told by the 15% of voters who have? It speaks volumes.
Unfortunately, censorship from big tech, Faux News, and even Newsmax has kept much of the 85% from even knowing about it…
That means it is up to us, the grassroots.
And that is also why I am working on scheduling a viewing of 2000 Mules in both Montgomery and NE Harris Counties.

Did Crenshaw support any of the gun control bills?
Dunno. Saw an article where Nasty has 8 of them. They only voted on this one AFAIK and his name wasn’t on list.
No, he knows he’ll have a hard enough time trying to win the general election in Nov because of all Republicans that hate his guts.

THANK YOU. This is DATA backing up what Novavax said and what I said.
Myocarditis is a problem of the spike protein PERIOD.
Any possible elevation of myocarditis is no reason not to approve Novavax. I’m betting the numbers will be slightly better for Novavax, once its numbers start flowing into VAERS. Not good enough to make me take the vaccine, but good enough to make a difference for many people who should not take an mRNA vaccine, or who don’t want to take one, for a variety of reasons, but still want a traditional protein vaccine.
PS – I added this tweet on the myocarditis thread!!!
