God is in charge
God is in complete control of the universe. A belief in God’s control is distinct from fatalism, which denies human free will. Humans are able to make genuine choices that have real consequences. God does not directly cause everything to happen, yet He does allow all that occurs to happen. And, ultimately, God’s will is going to be accomplished. At first, these statements may seem unimportant to our daily lives and better suited for an esoteric theological discussion. However, God’s control is practical and has a significant impact on our daily lives.
God’s plan and will impacts everyday life in that they remove all cause for worry. We can trust that what the Bible claims about God’s character is backed up by His ability. Not only does God love us, but He has the ability to care for us. Those who are part of the family of God can claim the promise in Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” We can rest in the fact that our God is actually able to work all things for our good, even when we cannot readily see how that may happen.
God’s control impacts everyday life in that we can trust God’s sanctifying work in us. Many times Christians feel that maturing in the faith is completely up to them, as if God saves us and then expects us to do the rest. We Christians do play a role in our own maturity. We are certainly called to obedience, and what we do matters and has consequences. However, in recognizing that God is sovereign, we also trust Him to bring us to maturity (see Galatians 3:3 and Philippians 1:6).
Looking to Romans 8 again, we read, “For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us” (Romans 8:29–34).
Our salvation has been God’s sovereign plan from eternity past. Rather than focus on our own performance, we can rest in the character of God and focus instead on actually getting to know Him.
God’s control also affects how we make decisions. We recognize that God is in control, so we don’t need to be paralyzed by decision-making. If we make the wrong decision, all is not lost. We can trust in God’s faithfulness and His ability to set us back on the right course.
We can and should make decisions. God’s control doesn’t mean that we sit idly by and allow life to happen. It means we can go bravely into life, trusting that our loving Father sees the larger picture and is faithfully working everything for His glory.
God’s control impacts our sense of identity. When we understand how powerful God is and how much He loves us, we can know we are secure in Him. As the objects of God’s sovereign love, we allow God to define us and give us our worth rather than look to the changing ideals of the world. When we understand that God is in complete control, we are freed to live our lives. We don’t need to fear ultimate failure or final destruction (Romans 8:1).
We don’t need to fear worthlessness. We can be confident that God will have His way and that it will be good. We can trust that the One who says He loves us is fully able to act on that love in all ways. We can trust that, even when the world seems completely out of control, God is in control. We know He has the big picture covered, so we can trust Him with our daily details.
I hold a simple view of God being in control.
God has the power . . . He spoke the whole universe into existence.
God has the knowledge . . . He knows the number of hairs on our heads and declares the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done.
God has the will to act . . . His counsel shall stand, and He will accomplish all His purpose, and not even a sparrow will fall to earth outside His will.
God has our best interest in mind . . . His plans for us are for good and not for disaster, to give us a future and a hope, and God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
For what more could we ask?

My son and daughter-in-law rescued a chocolate lab, her name is Piper. She was abandoned, they think the person who owned her passed away and their family didn’t want to deal with her as she had learned behaviors that were indulgent/overwhelming. She was picked up walking the streets and taken to the rescue. She’s been a lot of work but slowly but surely she’s getting there. She’s a big dog, exuberant and a bit slobbery 💦 but she has a good heart/disposition. Their cat, Enzo endures Piper but he also has a cat escape hole 🕳 to run to when Piper attempts to have share some “quality” time.

No one has yard signs out no one wants to be bothered by loonies. Normally the republicans have signs out and the democrats. Even the ardent democrats crickets. This is going to be an interesting election. Our poling station has moved to a church that too will be interesting. My husband an I vote on the 8th. All those who are not voting I call freeloaders and if they complain about the way the country is going I tell them there are part of the problem.
The RNC called my husband unloaded on them. They will never call back. My husband is never that angry as I have seen him on the phone. People are stressed.

As a little linguistic peculiarity, one cannot say “I like XXXX” in Spanish. Instead, one says “To me, is pleasing XXXX”. If you say, “Me gusta este perro”, it means, “To me, is pleasing this dog”. If you say, “Me gustas tu”, it means “to me, is pleasing you (familiar)”. If you say “Me gustan esos gatos”, it means “to me, are pleasing, those cats.” The verb “gustar” — to be pleasing — is conjugated depending on who is doing the pleasing rather than who is doing the liking.
Similarly, you can flip things around and ask, “Te gusto?” — which would mean, “to you (familiar), am I pleasing?” Or maybe “Se gusta eso mesa?” — which would mean “to you (polite), is pleasing that table?”

I personally think that her viewpoint is MORE compatible with Christianity than standard “free will” as people tend to think about it, because it mixes the ideas of sin, choice and predestination in a logical way that leaves God in control.
The normal idea of free will throws up its hands about the mysteries of these things in a probabilistic approximation of equivalent pathways by hypothesizing that equivalence without evidence and calling it “free will”, but IMO by saying “not so fast – there are increasingly complicated choices and YOU make mistakes in deviating from ‘God’s will’ by the ‘temptations of errors’, most of Christian philosophy fits very comfortably.
I’m not sure if she’s religious or not, but if so, then I think she’s like me – trusting that if we pursue reality and God is real, God will be that sticky remainder that washes clean at the end. In other words, faith!

If I were a younger man, I would love to have a beer with Sabine. Probably peculiar, but there is something appealing to me about her immobile face and clenched teeth manner of expression, especially because she will always throw in a hilarious aside delivered in the identical manner, showing she has a wonderful sense of humor.

It was just recently, maybe ten years back, where I learned to trust Jesus about worry (although it does not stop me as much as I would like, a function of life-long worry habits).
Having spent a lifetime thinking about free will and the thousand other natural shocks that the mind is heir to, things resolved themselves for me over a number of years. I started from a good place, which was the utterly firm conviction that I knew nothing, and would never know anything, let alone comprehend all the questions of physics and metaphysics which are currently understood by nobody, and will (IMO) never be understood.
The primary issue to be resolved is whether Jesus existed as an historical person, as a matter of fact. Not that he existed as he is presented in Scripture, but just that he existed.
The question was not, and is not, an open and shut case, but one which requires a degree of dedication to understand the issues involved. No point in going through what each person must go through for himself (or not), but I became satisfied that Jesus was an historic person. The existence of The Gospels and Epistles (excluding the “message”), and the history of early Christianity were relevant to my understanding.
Having persuaded myself beyond a reasonable doubt that Jesus was a man, I then considered (not sequentially, but as part of the process) whether the message was also “factual,” in the sense that the message transmitted in the Gospels, Epistles, and tradition accurately reflected what Jesus the human conveyed while here on Earth. This process also required dedication, and I do not mind saying, as part of the process I asked God, if He existed, to help me in understanding. It seemed only fair to me in this respect to keep an open mind, even to God, if He existed.
I persuaded myself that the Gospels, Epistles, and tradition accurately reflected the message Jesus conveyed. Again, no point in going through my thought process, it is one any interested person must go through.
And just parenthetically, the Shroud of Turin played zero role in my thought process. Many Christians get perturbed at the very mention of the Shroud. So be it. To me, the Shroud is beyond a reasonable doubt the burial cloth of Jesus. I have spent a lot of time studying the Shroud.
I am going to say something I have only said once before on this site, and will say here once again, but think is wise to avoid saying or even implying usually. I have spent a lifetime understanding what is meant by the phrase “reasonable doubt.” It took me many years to grasp it’s profound meaning. All the legal instructions in the world can hardly convey its meaning because it requires experience and contemplation. I do not lightly say I was persuaded beyond a reasonable doubt.
To me, the Shroud is a beautiful, wondrous gift from God to me and others who have studied the issue who have been similarly persuaded. It is a miraculous corroboration which could not have been understood until a century and a few decades ago, and which has been studied with the most modern scientific methods, defying all attempts at debunking. The evidence is vast, and also requires dedication, but it is there.
But I do have a point with all of this. Two points, actually.
One, assuming that Jesus was Who He said He was, (an assumption based on my conclusions), what Jesus says took/takes on an entirely different understanding and perspective, including His words about worry, anxiety, and God’s love for us all. Like the me of old, I still know nothing on my own, and cannot know anything on my own, but the Truth of what Jesus has said to us, I do know.
Two, assuming again that Jesus was Who He said He was, issues like “free will” resolve themselves easily. I am not saying it is wrong to discuss free will, or predestination, or epistemology, or cosmology, I just do not worry about it, the rightness or wrongness of it, or the actual truth of it. There is an actual truth of it, that I know, but I will never comprehend all of it, because I do know nothing on my own. And I have no anxiety about not comprehending it.
And just to add an observation I make every year around this time. To me, Christmas music is a Divinely inspired gift to me, the individual me, as it is (or can be) for anyone. There is something beautifully other-worldly (to me) about Christmas music, as if God was speaking to me directly. There is zero special about me in that, I just happen to accept the gift.

I know there is such a thing as a “widow-maker” heart attack. It happens. But like this? No warning, no hand to the chest, nothing?
This is something else. Of course, we know it is the jab.
I have yet to hear a theory that I accept about what is actually happening during these heart attacks. It seems like the electrical activity that drives the heart just stops, and CANNOT be restarted. There have been cases where a defibrillator is available and used immediately to no effect.
One theory would be that those massive insoluble clots come loose and just block something.
Another is that the jab is particularly good at a kind of silent damage that progresses quietly until the heart is literally on its last legs, and just dies in a way that cannot be revived.
Whatever it is, it’s something quite different from most prior disease states that our medicine is used to dealing with.
I think it’s the clots, and that is why the evil ones in control, turned against aspirin around the same time that it was discovered that aspirin reduced hospitalization and death from COVID by over 40% (which happened near the beginning of the phony pandemic).

The fellow that advocates D-Dimer tests to look for the microclots said that the electrophysiological problems (conduction errors, etc.) that occur due to the clot-shot DO NOT act the same as congenital or even idiopathic conduction problems.
Seems the clot shots are damaging nerves and conductive tissues, which would fit with the reports of nerve sheath damage occurring as a side-effect ot the slab-jab as well. Not to mention all the auto-immune diseases, etc., and recurrences of long-dormant maladies (e.g shingles)…

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

First, as an ASIDE, let me just correct that the Frankenstein virus they made in the lab was WUHAN BODY with OMICRON SPIKE. The sphere if the original with the spikes of Omicron. What this proved is that much of the lethality of the original Wuhan strain was not just in the spike, but in the other proteins.
The Omicron SPIKE reduces the lethality from 100% to only 80%, but Omicron TOTAL reduces the lethality to 0% in the test.
NOW – as for why they keep including the Wuhan spike in the VACCINES, I think you have hit the nail on the head. They want people to keep taking the original spike mRNA. IMO there is no reason to do this, other than (1) to double down on the original decision as a form of legal protection, and (2) to have the vaccines maintain some effect that was LOST when “nature or whoever” evolved Omicron’s spike.
I suspect that the Omicron spike doesn’t DEPOPULATE as well as Wuhan does. It is likely not as pathogenic. It doesn’t ABORT or EUTHANIZE as well as the Wuhan spike.

So, if it’s true that the Omicron spike (at least in the “later variants” like BA.5) doesn’t cause the damages and deaths that the Wuhan spike does, that would appear to be the reason why the Wuhan strain is still included in the “Omicron booster shots” and also in that Boston University virus creation — it would be the Wuhan strain that can “do the job”, so to speak.
IMO, somebody at the CDC, the FDA, the NIH / NIAID, and Pfizer-BioNTech knows that this is the case — perhaps more than ** one ** somebody.

He did say he might not kill himself but just go on “different drugs,” like heroin. His thinking process seems off to me, and he seems like someone deeply depressed who is putting on a good front and trying to carry on. He needs help on several levels. One of the commenters recommends the Frontline doctors.
And above all, he needs prayer… and salvation…

Agree completely. He is IMO severely depressed, and I suspect that it is organic, and due to spike protein. He needs a psychiatrist, a neurologist, and an FLCCC-recommended long COVID specialist.
The psychiatrist is the immediate need, followed by the other two.
And absolutely no more of these goddamned shots.
I just listened to the end of Scott’s podcast. It struck me as part pity party and part irrational stream of consciousness. It sounded like the “Death of Socrates” kind of monologue. Now I don’t have any emotional connection to Scott beyond enjoying his “Dilbert” comic strip but his demeanor was too ‘no big deal’ kind of fatalism. He did not sound depressed to me but since I really don’t know the ‘normal’ Scott, my perspective doesn’t mean much. I hope his sense of acceptable alternatives becomes more optimistic over the next several months.
His VOICE sounds very different. Something is deeply wrong.
Just what are we supposed to do about that?

It appears that Mr. Scott’s case, there also extraordinary circumstances that can absolutely produce not only depression, but inflammation of all kinds and resulting damage to the immune system (death of his stepson, the divorce, losing income due to cancellation of “Dilbert”, etc.).
It is also possible that Mr. Scott has come to the realization that he may well have multiple types of “vaccine”-induced damage and he’s in panic mode. One can suspect that other “vaccine”-damaged people in a similar boat.
One hopes that Mr. Scott can get the help he needs for his body, mind, and spirit.

Medical world won’t cite these problems from the injections. medical world denies the truth, injections are injuring, handicapping and killing folks.

The “medical establishment” will do almost anything but face the truth about the “vaccines.” They will likely deal with people who present with depression and/or panic-anxiety from “vaccine”-engendered damage by telling them “it’s all in your head”, prescribe an SSRI, and give a referral to a psychiatrist for counseling.

My opinions:
I agree with you about everything EXCEPT the anti-depressant drugs.
It was recently proven that they don’t do what they claim. AND even with the older ones, once you are on them, you can almost never get off again. I have had friends who tried, and the literal physical pain was so bad they gave up. Brainstorms, headaches, dizziness, body pain, the works.
Scott needs God, therapy, and hope. He needs friends and he needs to focus on OTHERS instead of on himself. Focusing outward instead of inward is the cure for depression. Giving to others is the way out.
Psychotropic drugs are a very nasty band-aid on the wound. I can’t ever recommend them again.
Long term, I agree with you, but by watching and listening to Scott, I believe there is a strong chance that he has the kind of depression that involves literal physical brain damage, analogous to Parkinsonism and some forms of schizophrenia (dopaminergic area damage), but in a region that causes depression (norepinephrine / seratonin). I think there is a strong possibility that he had cerebrovascular damage by the spike protein, in a critical area. These sorts of patients with depression due to brain damage are VERY high risks for suicide, because they have hard-to-heal damage that makes their lives a living hell.
And when I say “hard to heal” I’m being hopeful and positive.
We can ask God for a miracle on that stuff, but most of the miracles in such cases are fulfilled by getting the victim to the right psychiatrists and neurologists. He needs a team that is familiar with institutional patients.
In the past, Scott would have been off to an institution already for short-term inpatient status, IMO.
Scott is not getting out of this without actual physical healing processes. Many people with such cases will kill themselves within the first few years without a chemical tourniquet – and that is exactly what the older drugs are. Their similarities to the dopaminergic antipsychotics are not accidental.
These are not gentle drugs, but they save lives in the short term. And yes, not without a lot of side effects. Dosage can be decreased if they can remove his negative symptoms and begin working on all the other stuff.
At Scott’s age, it may end up being lifelong anyway. But with optimal treatment, he can be stabilized, off the drugs within 5-10 years, maybe less, and live into his 80s, if managed properly.
There is SOME possibility that he can get away with just “baseline” treatments for spike protein damage, but from the sound of it, he is already on meds for depression, and they are not working. If it hasn’t been a full 3 weeks since he started, there may not have been time for necessary nervous system changes, but if it has been more than a month since he started drugs and there is no improvement, then he needs either a dosage increase or something else, IMO.
I am guessing that his score on any test for depression is SEVERE. On the bright side, he said he can hold out for a year. The toughest cases say things like “a week” or “a month”.
It may be his primary who is prescribing, but he needs to go to a REALLY good psychiatrist, who works the hard cases.
Preferably one who will also work on his spiritual side. The best psychiatrists always encourage patients toward spiritual health, too.
Anyway, he already crossed the line to meds. I think the next step is to make that actually work.

Ground report. The injected relatives got their boosters earlier this month. 3-4 weeks later, one of them is experiencing moderate lower body pain after taking a walk. She is self-diagnosing it as a sciatica; I just hope it’s not a blood clot.
Hopefully, sciatica. But yea, jab(s) are first thought for most of us.
This summer, quack said I aggravated sciatica. Had been walking three miles, three times daily. Cut back on walking for awhile and steroids for a few days. Pain went away. Back to walking a lot. Who knows what the real deal was. Good to be free of that pain.
