On this day and every day –

God is in Control
. . . and His Grace is Sufficient, so . . .
Keep Looking Up

Hopefully, every Sunday, we can find something here that will build us up a little . . . give us a smile . . . and add some joy or peace, very much needed in all our lives.

“This day is holy to the Lord your God;
do not mourn nor weep.” . . .
“Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet,
and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared;
for this day is holy to our Lord.
Do not sorrow,
for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

The Star of Bethlehem

The star of Bethlehem is associated with the birth of Christ and the visit of the magi (wise men) as recorded in Matthew 2:1–12. The text implies the star of Bethlehem appeared only to the magi in the East (most likely the area of Persia, or modern-day Iran). There is no biblical record of anyone else observing the star of Bethlehem.

The magi in the East saw something in the heavens—the star of Bethlehem—that alerted them to the fact that the Jewish Messiah was born. The magi do not call the star of Bethlehem by that name; in Matthew 2:2 they refer to it as being “His star,” since it was a sign to them that a king was born. The star prompted the magi to travel to Jerusalem, the capital of Israel. This would be the logical place to start looking for the birth of the King of the Jews for someone who did not know of Micah’s prophecy about Bethlehem.

In Jerusalem, the magi visited King Herod and were told that the new king they were looking for would be born in Bethlehem, not in Jerusalem (Matthew 2:5). The wise men left Herod’s palace, and the star of Bethlehem appeared to them once again. In fact, the star “went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they were overjoyed” (verses 9–10). The star of Bethlehem, apparently mobile, led the magi to the precise place where they could find Jesus.

Modern portrayals of the Christmas nativity scene usually show the wise men visiting Jesus on the night of His birth. That is likely not what truly occurred. King Herod discovered from the magi the “exact time” the star of Bethlehem had first appeared to them (Matthew 2:7), and he later ordered all male children two years old and under in Bethlehem to be killed (verse 16). Herod obviously thought the star of Bethlehem had first appeared when Christ was born; if he was right, then Jesus could have been up to two years old when the star of Bethlehem later guided the magi through the streets of Bethlehem. The Greek word translated “young child” in Matthew 2:9 can mean anything from a newborn infant to a toddler.

So, the magi may have first observed the star of Bethlehem the night of Jesus’ birth, or they may have first seen it up to two years beforehand. Either way, they found Jesus still in Bethlehem when they arrived. Joseph and Mary almost surely stayed in Bethlehem until Mary could travel again. In fact, they probably stayed there for the 40 days necessary to complete Mary’s purification. From Bethlehem, they could easily make the five-mile trip to Jerusalem for the sacrifice for Mary’s purification (Luke 2:22). The fact that the magi came to a “house” (Matthew 2:11) rather than the stable makes sense because Joseph naturally would have moved his family to a more protected place as soon as possible—the morning after Jesus was born, in all probability.

After seeing the star of Bethlehem, the magi traveled to Jerusalem to look for the Messiah. The question arises, how would Persian magi know about the Jewish Messiah? Undoubtedly, they would have been exposed to the writings of the Jewish prophet Daniel, who had been the chief of the court seers in Persia. Daniel 9:24–27 is a prophecy that gives a timeline for the birth of the Messiah. Also, they may have been aware of the words of the pagan prophet Balaam (who was from the town of Pethor on the Euphrates River near Persia) in Numbers 24:17. Balaam’s prophecy specifically mentions “a star” and “a scepter” rising out of Jacob.

What exactly was the star of Bethlehem? The Greek word translated “star” in the text is the word aster, which is the normal word for a star or celestial body. The word is used 24 times in the New Testament, and most of the time it refers to a celestial body. It can be used to denote angels, as in Revelation 12:4, where aster seems to refer to the fallen angels who followed Satan’s rebellion. Basic rules of biblical interpretation state that we should take the normal sense of a word unless there is compelling evidence to suggest otherwise. In that case, the star of Bethlehem should be considered an actual heavenly body. Many Bible scholars suggest a natural explanation for the star of Bethlehem, their theories ranging from a supernova to a comet to an alignment of planets. Something in the heavens provided a brighter-than-normal light in the sky.

However, there is evidence to suggest that the star of Bethlehem was not a natural stellar phenomenon, but something unexplained by science. First, the fact that the star of Bethlehem seemed to appear only to the magi indicates that this was no ordinary star. Also, celestial bodies normally move from east to west due to the earth’s rotation, yet the star of Bethlehem led the magi from Jerusalem south to Bethlehem. Not only that, but it led them directly to the place where Joseph and Mary were staying, stopping overhead. There is no natural stellar phenomenon that can do that.

So, if the normal usage of the word star doesn’t fit the context, what does? The star of Bethlehem in Matthew 2:1–12 was likely an angel or a manifestation of the Shekinah Glory. The Shekinah, which literally means “dwelling of God,” was the visible presence of the Lord. Prior to this, the most notable appearance of the Shekinah was the pillar of cloud that led the Israelites by day and the pillar of fire that led them by night (Exodus 13:21). The Shekinah can obviously lead people to specific locations, and it was seen later in connection with Christ’s ministry (e.g., Matthew 17:5; Acts 1:9). Either an angel or the Shekinah would fit the evidence. It shouldn’t surprise us that God would use a miraculous sign to signal the advent of His Son into the world. Those with eyes to see joyfully beheld His glory.

Well he was only 35, so if he “spent many years working” anywhere, it sounds like he only ever worked for the gubermint.

Imagine how messed up your mind would be, if your entire work experience was in government, and so you thought the rest of the world worked the same way.

scott467

What did he die from at the ripe old age of 35?

Isn’t anyone even mildly curious?

Was he gored to death during audience participation day at the bull ring?

Was he stampeded to death by a horde of wild turkeys?

Did he accidentally walk into an empty elevator shaft?

Or did he haz SADS?

You know, the popular unknown cause of death sweeping the nation and the whole globe — while the best and most incurious scientismists and medicinismists, graduates of the world’s best universities, just can’t put 2 + 2 together and come up with ‘4’…

Elon Musk unfollows Bari Weiss after her virtue signaling Twitter tirade
https://thepostmillennial.com/elon-musk-unfollows-bari-weiss-after-her-virtue-signaling-twitter-tirade?cfp

I knew he had called her out but not that he unfollowed her. I hope this means she will not be given any more of the drops to report on.

On Friday, Twitter CEO Elon Musk unfollowed Bari Weiss after she said he should reinstate journalists that had doxxed his real-time location on the social media service, an act he said was basically posting “assassination coordinates.” Weiss also said Twitter under his leadership was a “regime” that was “governed by its own whims and biases.”

Musk told Weiss, “Rather than rigorously pursuing truth, you are virtue-signaling to show that you are ‘good’ in the eyes of media elite to keep one foot in both worlds.”

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

I’m going to be blunt. A one-week moderation for violating a sensible rule, even if one disagrees with the rule or the application, is way more justice than what old Twitter used to do to us.

Leftists call “disagreement about trans” “violence”, which is absolute BS, but compare to “Journtifa” reporting coordinates of Musk and his relatives for Antifa – sorry – a week suspension is literally “getting away with it” in my book.

The thing is, these MSM-tard journtifa activists absolutely CANNOT see left-wing violence. It’s invisible to them.

They believe they are righteous. No matter whether they question their own “tribe” occasionally or not, they ALWAYS believe that the opposing side (i.e., US) are ignorant, uneducated vermin to be dealt with accordingly. They believe utterly in their own superiority, and thus behave as they do.

That is why, no matter what, you never, never, ever TRUST a leftist, “reformed” or otherwise.

The SNAKE.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Yup.

scott467

I think they know exactly what they’re doing, no different than we used to do as kids, when we found some angle to exploit, some hypocrisy the adults didn’t want to admit to, and so we exploited it mercilessly, to the point of absurdity, until some adult finally had the balls to admit the hypocrisy or double standard.

I think they’re laughing their asses off at how easy it is to manipulate and influence the whole world, by their clique being as absurd as possible while acting as if they’re righteous.

Anyone who behaved this way in high school, even a little bit, knows how much fun that can be.

What reason is there to think this isn’t exactly what they’re doing?

They play the part of the kids having fun at our expense, and we expertly play the part of the grumpy old man, yelling “Hey you kids, get off of my lawn!

I don’t know much about the car business, but this seems significant.

Perfect Storm Arrives: “Massive Wave” Of Car Repossessions And Loan Defaults To Trigger Auto Market Disaster, Cripple US Economy
https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/perfect-storm-arrives-massive-wave-car-reposessions-and-loan-defaults-trigger-auto-market

One portion of a long article:

As twitter’s CarDealershipGuy – who claims to be an anonymous auto-industry CEO and whose analysis has been featured in places like the NY Post and who frequently Tweets about the state of the auto market – laid out a long thread on Thursday, all of the above may end up being an overly optimistic assessment of the perfect storm that’s about to hit the auto sector:

“This morning I discovered something *extremely* alarming happening in the car market, specifically in auto lending. I’m now convinced that there is a massive wave of car repossessions coming in 2023,” he wrote.

Recapping much of what we said above, he noted that over the past 2 years, many people took out exorbitant loans on cars and while car values were inflated (and still are) but many people simply had no choice and bought an overpriced a car. Then, echoing the Fitch assessment, he notes how those buyers are underwater: “Car valuations are now plummeting. Some cars have declined in value as much as 30% y/y. And these same people that took out these big loans are now ‘underwater’. Basically, they owe banks more on these cars than they are worth. And the banks are well-aware of this.”

The punchline is his personal experience from late last week. “This morning, one of our General Managers opened up DealerTrack — a portal that dealers use to communicate with auto lenders — and highlighted something very concerning. 9 of our lending partners have started WAIVING ‘open auto stipulations’ for consumers.”

What this means, he explained, is that once consumers are stuck with a vehicle they paid too much for, they can’t trade it in without putting some money up front to cover the difference of what is owed on it versus what it is worth. At that point, he notes, “Dealer can’t sell consumer a car, Consumer can’t buy a car, And, you guessed it, lender can’t finance a car!”

The lender then knows that most consumers are stuck and waives the open auto stipulation – meaning they allow the consumer to buy the new car with a second loan knowing they already have a first one. But the lender does it because they know that the buyer will default on the old, other car.

Cue default avalanche: “This is NOT normal. But it’s the only way lenders can finance cars and dealers can put cars on the road. And the implications of this will be tons of repossessions,” the CEO wrote.

He concluded: “I’ve been a doubter, but after what I saw this morning, I’m now FULLY convinced that a wave of car repossessions will hit in early/mid 2023. If lenders are willing to backstab each other in order to put more loans on the road, we’re in trouble.”

Sadie Slays

I read something elsewhere yesterday about how Carvana is starting to auction off their inventory to wholesalers and there’s some used car-pocalypse predicted by April 2023. Didn’t think much of it at the time, but it looks like the dire auto market warnings are spreading.

Deplorable Patriot

The downside of the cash for clunkers program that decimated the used car market. That might just fix itself with this.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

There will be plenty of new clunkers out there, with fancy branding.

Mercedes, Audi and BMW used to have reps for lasting a long time–Mercedes even issued badges you could put on the grille–but from what I understand nowadays they just want the car to last through the end of the first lease. BMW is cutting corners by using plastic hoses and the like instead of metal…and those are hours of mechanic work to get to when they need fixing.

So I imagine there are plenty of these cars out there for relatively cheap…cheap until you have to fix something.

pgroup2

I have a 2002 Kia Sedona. 130K miles. Over the past 18 months since acquiring this vehicle used, it has gotten 2 new tires, 4 shocks, and new brake rotors & pads. Gets about 22-25 mpg and runs smooth.

Older is better.

barkerjim

From Chiefio: On the other hand: what kind of brain dead idiocy has a single gasket (rubber fails over time) or a simple cracked tail light lens disable an entire car and require $1000 level of repairs? Just idiots. Do NOT buy a Mercedes (and definitely not an ML…) after about 2005 or so model year. Whoever is designing them has no clue about reliable or robust operation in adversity.

pgroup2

What are some examples of single gasket or cracked tail light lens? Which cars?

barkerjim

Mercedes ML. He had one and the rubber gasket for a taillight got old, leaked, and killed one of the car computers, disabling the car. $1000+ repair.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

I’ve heard horror stories of $1800 to replace a burned out headlight…on a BMW.

I want to like those cars, BMW and Mercedes both, but you don’t get ANY reliability for all that money.

scott467

For the amount of money it costs to keep a car like that on the road, you could save money by buying a restored classic and driving the wheels off of it, and loving every minute of it.

Standard maintenance and repairs would be easy and comparatively cheap.

You could get something you actually like. Something with character. Something that doesn’t look like every other car on the road. Something that rumbles at idle, and scares women and young children when you stand on the gas.

This is 100% factual ^^^

2007 and 2008 led off with auto loans defaulting with massive repos, home equity loans defaulting, first mortgage RE loans defaulting, credit card defaults, etc.

The lenders will keep bending the rules because the originators and some underwriters are personally incented to make loans as are all other industries mentioned above. In essence they make commission on production. In the auto industry some make it on both sides – new and used. So repos matter not to them as long as they have access to loan funding.

Which is the problem that is coming head on like a freight train. The part that does not go far enough is the banks securitize the loan pools, which are bought by hedge funds, pension funds, insurance companies, etc. The collapse in 2007-2008 was so bad that the defaults got well into the “safe” tranches of the securities. when that happens the securitizer usually steps in and makes the safer tranche holders whole voluntarily if it is not included in the contract language. If they don’t the funders pull back and will refuse to do business with the bank/originator of the securitization.

The default rates in 2007-2008 were so high that the originators could not cover the losses. My operation was selling to the first to fall, Bear Stearns. They were the smallest in asset size on the street, the bigger ones began falling soon after that.

I am not saying the stuff today will be the same as then. Don’t know because politics play into it as well as BRICS. I am saying the warning signs are there, bright red and flashing. Take heed with your investments and retirement accounts.

If the funding dries up, with a good portion of it coming from foreign sources into hedge funds, America is in for a hurtin’ in the near future. BRICS will make sure of it.

16 March 2009  Updated 11:53 AM ET Thu, 5 Aug 2010 Big European Banks Benefit from AIG Bailout

With American International Group set to pay $165 million in bonuses to workers at the unit that nearly brought down the insurance giant, Congress and investors finally get some answers on the counterparties AIG paid last year, with emergency loans from the federal government….

Among the counterparties receiving payments from an $85 billion loan to AIG in September, Societe Generale, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs , Merrill Lynch, Citadel and municipalities in 20 states including California and Virginia.

Through three separate types of transactions, Goldman received an aggregate $12.9 billion. Among European banks, SocGen was the biggest recipient at $11.9 billion, Deutsche got $11.8 billion and Barclays was paid $8.5 billion, Reuters reported.

Societe Generale said it respected its counterparty agreements with AIG and that the collateral posted by AIG and amounts paid were fully consistent with its agreements.

Using the loan from the government AIG paid $22.4 billion in collateral to counterparties of credit default swaps written by AIG Financial Products (AIGFP). Those payments were made between September 16, 2008 and December 31, 2008, and included $4.1 billion to Societe Generale, $2.6 billion to Deutsche Bank and $2.5 billion to Goldman Sachs.

Another $43.7 billion went to pay counterparties of AIG’s securities lending operations. The biggest recipients of those funds included Barclays which received a $7 billion payment, Deutsche Bank which received $6.4 billion and BNP Paribas and Goldman Sachs which received $4.9 and $4.8 billion respectively…..

DECEMBER 28, 2011 The Federal Reserve’s Covert Bailout of Europe

…The Fed was embarrassed by the revelations of its prior largess with foreign banks. It does not want the debt of foreign banks on its books. A currency swap with the ECB is not technically a loan.

The ECB is entangled in an even bigger legal and political mess. What the heads of many European governments want is for the ECB to bail them out. The central bank and some European governments say that it cannot constitutionally do that. The ECB would also prefer not to create boatloads of new euros, since it wants to keep its reputation as an inflation‐fighter intact. To mitigate its euro lending, it borrows dollars to lend them to its banks. That keeps the supply of new euros down. This lending replaces dollar funding from U.S. banks and money‐market institutions that are curtailing their lending to European banks — which need the dollars to finance trade, among other activities. …

About those credit Default Swaps aka CDS

Foreclosure Home News and Opinion How the AIG Bailout Could be Driving More Foreclosures?

…The story of AIG seems to be never ending. It was a huge insurance firm with lots of profitable parts and apparently one part so unprofitable that it not only sank the company but it continues to threaten the entire economy. To date the government has poured $170 billion into AIG relief. Whether some, all or any of that money will ever be returned to taxpayers is unknown.

Much of what AIG lost is not related to insurance, at least not in the sense of fire and theft coverage or claims from hurricanes or floods. Instead AIG has apparently been a world-leader in credit default swaps (CDS), a kind of exotic financial product you can’t get from GEICO, State Farm or Mutual of Omaha.

“A credit default swap (CDS) is a credit derivative contract between two counterparties,” says Wikipedia. “The buyer makes periodic payments to the seller, and in return receives a payoff if an underlying financial instrument defaults. CDS contracts have been compared with insurance, because the buyer pays a premium and, in return, receives a sum of money if one of the specified events occur.”…..

It is a BET that the homeowner will not default on the mortgage….
AND THAT BET CAN BE BY ANYONE (financial) AND BY MORE THAN ONE COMPANY–UNRELATED TO THE MORTGAGE HOLDER— CAN PLACE THAT BET. Your home can have MULTIPLE CDS placed on it. For a Bank it is PROFITABLE to FORCE a bankruptcy because you get the CDS bailout money AND the Property. This is WHY banks would not cooperate with the OBAMA PLAN which was a MAJOR TRAP. Your mortgage payment was lowered for a time (in our case a year) and THEN the bank says NO we will not re-negotiate. YOU OWE US back due money + interest + LAWYER FEES. The kicker is the lawyer fees. WE HAD TO SUE to find out how much we actually owed. The lawyer we hire kept trying to get us to SELL for the amount we owed the bank. We wouldn’t.

Five More Ways Obama’s Mortgage Modification Program Fails Americans

1. Sign up for a mod to save your financial future, and you’ll ruin your credit….

3. The program isn’t staving off very many foreclosures anyway.

Between banks “losing” everyone’s paperwork and failing to turn temporary modifications into permanent ones, only 170,000 people got permanent modifications since the program started. Meanwhile, 2.8 millions homes went into foreclosure in 2009 — a new record — which means that for every 100 homeowners foreclosed upon, the mortgage modification program saved six.

Happy go lucky

Yes. But what is the chance that the US government will default on its debt, and be forced to a settlement designed by the IMF? Argentina is a scenario I’m thinking of.

Structural Adjustment Policies are economic policies which countries must follow in order to qualify for new World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) loans and help them make debt repayments on the older debts owed to commercial banks, governments and the World Bank.

THE BANKSTERS TAKE OVER AND DICTATE HOW THE COUNTRY IS RUN

….Balancing national budgets can be done by raising taxes, which the IMF frowns upon, or by cutting government spending, which it definitely recommends. As a result, SAPs often result in deep cuts in programmes like education, health and social care, and the removal of subsidies designed to control the price of basics such as food and milk. So SAPs hurt the poor most, because they depend heavily on these services and subsidies.

SAPs encourage countries to focus on the production and export of primary commodities such as cocoa and coffee to earn foreign exchange. But these commodities have notoriously erratic prices subject to the whims of global markets which can depress prices just when countries have invested in these so-called ‘cash crops’.

By devaluing the currency and simultaneously removing price controls, the immediate effect of a SAP is generally to hike prices up three or four times, increasing poverty to such an extent that riots are a frequent result….

As of March 2016, 204.1 billion SDRs (equivalent to about $285 billion) had been created and allocated to members. SDRs can be exchanged for freely usable currencies. The value of the SDR is based on a basket of five major currencies—the US dollar, the euro, the Chinese renminbi (RMB), the Japanese yen, and the British pound sterling.”

September 30 2002: ‘Sovereign bankruptcy’ plan wins US backing

The world’s top financial policy makers this weekend launched a drive for new rules for “sovereign bankruptcy” to head off national debt crises and to handle them more smoothly when they did occur. In the most significant achievement of three days of discussions at the International Monetary Fund and World Bank annual meetings, IMF staff have been told to come up with detailed proposals by next spring. This time the scheme has the unequivocal support of the United States, which previously had been sceptical.

There had to be “a clear and predictable process for countries that reach a position in which they cannot sustain and service their debt burden”, Paul O’Neill, the US Treasury Secretary, said in his speech to the IMF governing board yesterday. The aim was “not to make defaults easier or more likely, but simply to make a restructuring more orderly and predictable should it occur”….

From my old notes:

2004 The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, in cooperation with the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, is holding a series of multi-stakeholder meetings on the issue of sovereign debt. http://www0.gsb.columbia.edu/ipd/programs/program.cfm?prid=15&ptid=2

Bankers treated postrevolutionary Mexico as a hybrid, that is, as a case of both developmental and revenue default, in Fishlow s taxonomy, in the interest of protecting the rights of bondholders generally. Their approach led them to reject the argument of US ambassador to Mexico (and former Morgan partner), Dwight W. Morrow, that a government could be financially insolvent. Bankers acted similarly during the debt crisis of the 1980s. http://econpapers.repec.org/article/cupfihrev/v_3a13_3ay_3a2006_3ai_3a02_3ap_3a197-215_5f00.htm

Far more serious friction is caused by the bankruptcy of foreign governments. Only in exceptional instances does it take the form of complete repudiation of debts; of this Russia is the classic example.

More often a government withholds for a limited period interest due on its obligations or funds it into another interest bearing obligation; sometimes it resorts to a forced conversion of its debt at a lower interest rate, a reduction of interest which may be achieved almost as effectively by the imposition of a coupon tax. Where government bonds held by foreign investors are in terms of the domestic currency, a generous inflation may materially reduce the public debt without an acknowledged breach of the government’s legal obligations. Defaulting governments can rarely be sued in their own courts; and even if judgment were given against them, foreign creditors could hardly make use of it as long as they could not sell government property or attach government revenues. Although governments scarcely ever assume responsibility for the investments of their nationals in foreign countries they are often made to intervene when frictions connected with such investments lead to loss of life or to “denial of justice.” In the case of comparatively weak states creditor countries have often employed naval demonstrations, occupation of ports or some form of blockade; even since the general recognition of the Calvo and Drago doctrines governments have used diplomatic pres- sure and occasionally direct military intervention. In the case of older and stronger states such measures are not available. The foreign creditor is then protected merely by the hesitation of the government to impair its credit standing. While the capital markets of the world are not thoroughly organized and while the various defense associations of foreign bondholders do not cooperate in every case, few governments are able completely to rid themselves of their old obligations; when they need new loans they must settle with their old creditors, although Russia seems to have succeeded in getting camouflaged import credits without compensating its old creditors.

The dominant fact, lost to a superficial view in the mazes of international finance, is that wealth and especially moneyed wealth is not merely a source of income but an embodiment of economic power. In national affairs the money power is under the sway of the national government, although in some cases it openly or secretly controls the government. In international affairs political and financial power are in separate hands; hence the variety of possible combinations, which ranges from sincere cooperation to bitter animosity.

Theoretically the foreign money lenders,…
While foreign investors are interested mainly in the security of their claims, the governments of creditor countries have often used the financial power vested in their money markets for political purposes. Loans were offered and in some cases even obtruded on less organized nations for military or political concessions. Financial control was resorted to not merely for the purpose of rehabilitating the country and securing the creditors’ rights but for getting control over its administration without having openly to assume political responsibility. In many cases there has been a quick transition from a loan made to a native ruler, originating in the wasteful splendor of his court and in the greed of an unscrupulous financier, to reorganization by a creditors’ council, which in its turn has led to a protectorate that has easily developed into control equivalent to political annexation. In countries where the rivalry of the various nations made direct annexation virtually impossible, a creditors’ council sometimes provided a useful form of international financial administration, which guaranteed financial security and a certain amount of economic progress without political control. International finance was thus made to provide a capitalistic substitute for political colonization and territorial imperialism.

In some cases international finance enabled native governments to develop the resources of their countries and greatly to improve their economic status. For the promise of a share of profits foreign financial interests were allowed to form corporations for the exploitation of railways, mines, oil fields, plantations and public utility services. Such corporations were sometimes strong enough to control the native governments. The De Beers company in Cape Colony in South Africa was for a long time in this position; and the connections of foreign finance with the Dfaz regime in Mexico were intimate and unbreakable. While the profits of the foreign concession holders were accumulated in many cases at the expense of the native workers, the upper and the middle class of the backward countries participated in this newly created

DO NOT FORGET OBAMA’s CASH FOR CLUNKERS that took a lot of useful used cars out of the market and thereby INFLATING the price of used cars and forcing people to buy NEW with a loan (or used with a loan)

I do hope, by the way, you found my Saturday daily satisfying. I was planning on a fusion article and then you asked for it so I figured it would have at least one reader besides Cthulhu and Wolf.

I didn’t get to read it until this morning.

Left home at 6:00 am and got back @ 7:00 pm. Unfortunately one of the ponies caught me off balance and shoved me so I fell and twisted my bad knee. Worse I am on my way out to do a birthday party.

Thank goodness for Kinesiology tape and pain killers. That tape is WONDERFUL BTW.

Hey Steve I wanted to also mention that I even appreciated your explanation of Tokamak reactors, both the origin of the name & the gist of the process. I’d seen that word before playing logic puzzles in the puzzle baron arena but never understood what it meant. There were several types of power generation that periodically make it into the games, like Theta Pinch, but I’ve never been sufficiently motivated to look these things up & the words disappear when the game ends so then I forget 🙂

I always thought “Tokamak” was something like “donut at edge of box”.

that graphic in Steve’s post kinda looked like that 🙂

Why does that matter? Did they buy the car for transportation and/or social cachet? If so, it still works fine for both.

If they bought the car as an investment, or to tap it for a future equity line of credit, then they certainly have bigger financial problems to worry about than their car.

I’d imagine they have engineers swarming over the wreckage, as well as reviewing plans and contracts.

There’s a company up by Stanford that used to be called “Failure Analysis Associates” (now called “Exponent”). One of my neighbors used to work for them. Their specialty was to get a call from this sort of thing, scan all the pieces, reassemble a virtual model of the failure, and document all the samples that would show how the failure happened — ideally identifying the precise cause.

Pfizer’s COVID-19 Vaccine Linked to Blood Clotting: FDA
https://www.theepochtimes.com/mkt_app/health/pfizers-covid-19-vaccine-linked-to-blood-clotting-fda_4930377.html?utm_source=andshare

I think the article is behind a paywall, but I was able to access it in Reader version.

Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine has been linked to blood clotting in older individuals, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

FDA researchers, crunching data from a database of elderly persons in the United States, found that pulmonary embolism—blood clotting in the lungs—met the initial threshold for a statistical signal and continued meeting the criteria after a more in-depth evaluation.

Three other outcomes of interest—a lack of oxygen to the heart, a blood platelet disorder called immune thrombocytopenia, and another type of clotting called intravascular coagulation—initially raised red flags, researchers said. More in-depth evaluations, such as comparisons with populations who received influenza vaccines, showed those three as no longer meeting the statistical threshold for a signal.

Researchers looked at data covering 17.4 million elderly Americans who received a total of 34.6 million vaccine doses between Dec. 10, 2020, and Jan. 16, 2022.

The study was published by the journal Vaccine on Dec. 1.

The FDA said it was not taking any action on the results because they do not prove the vaccines cause any of the four outcomes, and because the findings “are still under investigation and require more robust study.”

Dr. Peter McCullough, chief medical adviser for the Truth for Health Foundation, told The Epoch Times via email that the new paper “corroborates the concerns of doctors that the large uptick in blood clots, progression of atherosclerotic heart disease, and blood disorders is independently associated with COVID-19 vaccination.”

And more…

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

“more study” – what a DODGE.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Looks like a scientific cover-up to me. One has to read the actual paper to see how strong the pro-vaccine propaganda is – VERY strong.

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0264410X22014931

Looking at it, I already see the play. This is NOT good.

  • they pick a convenient age-group where COVID itself starts creating a high risk to match the low benefit – meaning retired people
  • they spot 4 signals
  • they eliminate 3 of them, IMO in a sketchy way to prevent them from leading to contraindications later
  • they used Medicare data
  • IMO they will try to use their results to force Medicare recipients to get the shot
  • looking forward to other takes on this stuff by vaccine skeptics

Don’t trust FDA *AT ALL* on this.

cthulhu

I disagree with your conclusion. There is no reason to include the words “on this”.

It would only make sense that forcing Medicare recipients to take the jab was a major goal — it is probably the part of the Federal budget that is most out of control, and “Sudden Adult Death Syndrome” would do a great deal to fix that.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

OMG. Yeah, you’re right. They CANNOT be trusted AT ALL.

kalbokalbs

Dang, I should have scrolled another post. Ya already Fixed It. 🙂

kalbokalbs

Don’t trust FDA *AT ALL*. on this

RDS

Wolf Moon
It appears that the persons who “investigated” and “wrote” the paper are connected either to the FDA or to the CMS (Medicare services.) Therefore, whatever they wrote is then immediately suspect due to conflict-of-interest issues.

About the blanket statement that 3 out of the 4 safety signals “don’t make the statistical grade for inclusion in the study” (paraphrased). IMO, this is BS.

About the exclusion of the Moderna COVID-19 “vaccine”, mRNA-1273, from the paper’s safety signals concern discussion. IMO, this is more BS.
On Page 5 of the FDA-issued Fact Sheet for Healthcare Providers for the Moderna COVID-19 “vaccine”, mRNA-1273, there is this:
“Myocarditis and Pericarditis
“Postmarketing data demonstrate increased risks of myocarditis and pericarditis, particularly within 7 days following the second dose.”
http://www.fda.gov/media/144637/download

About the exclusion of the AdCOV2.S (Johnson & Johnson / Janssen) COVID-19 “vaccine” from the paper’s safety signals concern discussion. IMO, THIS IS INTENTIONALLY MISLEADING.
On Page 1 of the FDA-issued Fact Sheet for Healthcare Providers for the Ad26COV2.S (Johnson & Johnson / Janssen) COVID-19 “vaccine”, there is this Black Letter Warning:
WARNING: THROMBOSIS WITH THROMBOCYTOPENIA SYNDROME
See Full EUA Prescribing Information for complete warning.
The Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine can cause thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS) which may be life-threatening.
Among reported cases of TTS following administration of the Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine, symptoms began approximately one to two weeks after vaccination.
http://www.fda.gov/media/146304/download

IMO, it it obvious that the REAL purpose of the “paper” is to dismiss / minimize ANY safety signals regarding the COVID-19 “vaccines” in use in the United States. It is also obvious that the persons who “wrote” the “paper” INTENTIONALLY excluded all age groups except for the elderly from consideration regarding “vaccine” safety signals.

One also believes that this “paper” is a “heads-up” that the government may now attempt to coerce / force all Americans over age 65 to get “vaccinated” — this may likely involve threats of denial or reduction of Medicare / Medicaid services and payments for the “un-vaccinated.” Such denial or reduction would inevitably “spill over” to Medicare secondary / “Medi-gap” insurance providers, which would follow CMS’ lead and deny or reduce insurance coverage / services / payments for the “un-vaccinated” — and/or, charge them vastly higher insurance premiums. Could the government go so far as to deny or reduce Social Security / SSI payments to the “un-vaccinated”? — One cannot leave this off the table.

Watching these people speak is seriously disturbing. They all sound the same, they look the same.

It is like the same demon inhabits all of them. The trans-freak teachers on TikTok, the crazed protesters on the streets, and the lib-tarded so-called journalists.

Very often they have the Sanpaku eyes. They ALL have that sing-song, mocking, idiotic-sounding speech pattern. Most of the women speak in “baby voice.” They have what is called in psychology “inappropriate affect;” that is, they smile when they should be serious, laugh when upset, etc. Their facial expressions don’t match the emotion of the moment.

I have had a counselor now for a couple of years, mainly to help me deal with the experience of watching our world burn down. She and I discuss the above phenomenon often. She is a devout Christian. Neither of us knows exactly what to make of what has happened to change people so drastically in the last few years, although we both attribute some of it to lockdowns and vaxx injury. But demonic possession is not off the table in our discussions.

I see people in real life who are similarly afflicted all the time, and I am not a gregarious person. I can’t imagine surviving in a city right now.

Gingersmom2009

What a post, and description. 👍🏻 It’s the same force in all of them, literally the same personality.

There has to be a possession spectrum, they aren’t all at the HRC level but they’re completely willing to go there. It’s like an airport people mover they’ve stepped onto.

When BHO was installed I sensed a gray scrim come down over the world. For me, that’s when all of this came out of the woodwork. The possession I mean.

Aubergine

Thanks! I agree with you about Obama. That was very bad. And it did seem like it wasn’t really “right,” if you know what I mean. Unnatural? I don’t know the right word.

And the “conveyor belt” to Hell image is a good one.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

YES! The inappropriate affect is just weird. Even MORE inappropriate for a “real” journalist – and yet here we are.

Taylor Not-So-Swift Lorentz reminds me of a high-school popularity rider, in-group mean girl, who has just been handed the Lois Lane slot at the Daily Planet. “Hey, where’s my Superman lover and my Clark Kent simp boy? I deserve it, you know. TEE-HEE-HEE!”

I feel like beating her lightly with notebooks from real journalists. “Oh, cut it out! Cut it out! You’re ruining my hair!”

Hoping everybody has the site working to their satisfaction, and (if they want notifications), is seeing the BELL NOTIFIER in the upper right hand corner of the site, at the right end of the black top “menu bar”.

If you’re not getting things the way you want them, let me know here, by replying to my comment. I can work with you to get things fixed.

RedLegLeader68

W – still no bell. Only the comment cloud thingy. And, after reading the open, down where you can like the open, when I like the open, some weird window momentarily opens and closes, and says I liked the open, but no avitar showing. All else seems to work, but the bell is gone and the cloud thingy is still the spinning blue circle (on my windows laptop)

RedLegLeader68

Also, on my machine, you can see that in that comment above, there is no avitar.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Yup. You’re going to have to “log in with WordPress” for sure.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

OK – you definitely need to log out, and then “Log In With WordPress”. That uses your WordPress identity and password. That will give you the bell.

Then, to make the bell work, you need to “allow all cookies” or turn off shields for this site.

Deplorable Patriot

No bell, but I can live with that.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

What happens when you log out, and then log back in with WordPress (the top option on the login window)? My guess is that will fix everything. Best to quit all the Q Tree tabs and do that from the last one.

Deplorable Patriot

I don’t log out. I just redo the login when 48 hours is up.

I really don’t need the notifier. Not as an author. Good Heavens. That’s HUNDREDS of notifications for four days in a row.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

The notifier can be a big pain in the ass when you get too many messages!

BillBeakman

No bell, not a hardship cause I can get notifications at sister sites…

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Quite all Q Tree tabs except one, log out, and then log back in with WordPress. Should get you the bell notifier. If that’s not working, turn off shields or allow all cookies on this site.

Gingersmom2009

I have a bell, but it reveals the slow-spinning circle. 😄 I tried the Brave switch, but everything looked so unfamiliar that I couldn’t navigate. It’s all good though, I can get replies clicking my flag and “my profile”.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

OK. Well, Aubergine and I figured out Firefox.

On Firefox you just have to click the shield (to the left of the URL) while you’re on THIS SITE (theqtree.com) and turn off Enhanced Tracking Protection for the site.

If that fails, go into settings, then Privacy and Security, and switch the Browser Protection to custom settings, and uncheck the cookies box.

Notifications should work after that.

BB

I clicked here and there last evening—just don’t ask me where. I now have a bell and it works!!!! Had no idea there were so many responses to my few posts.
Thanks Wolf!

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Good! Excellent! Which browser are you using, BTW? I’m finding that a lot more people use Firefox than I had thought.

BB

Brave.

nikkichico7

No bell, don’t know if I have connection to jet pack, my login password won’t in that area, I’m a little confused but I’m okay for now.

nikkichico7

I login with WordPress. It works really nice and I appreciate it W0lf 🙂🤚😎👍

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I’ve thought about this a lot. One thing I have always believed is that the Star in the East was not in the sky, but astrological.

Magi or wise men in the past were astrologers. They “saw” things in the stars. Astrology is all over in the Bible. One example in the Bible is in Isaiah, regarding prophecy using the stars:

Isaiah 47:13-14

“You are wearied with your many counsels;
Let now the astrologers,
Those who prophesy by the stars,
Those who predict by the new moons,
Stand up and save you from what will come upon you.
“Behold, they have become like stubble,
Fire burns them;
They cannot deliver themselves from the power of the flame;
There will be no coal to warm by
Nor a fire to sit before!

I’m not sure it matters whether Jesus was born on December 25 or not. Choosing to celebrate his birth on that day is a choice of very many Christians, but not all. The most religious Christian person I know does not.

I do know I believe that God created the Heavens and the Earth, and if the stars are in the sky, they were put there for many reasons. Maybe even for prophecy.

pgroup2

No, my friend, God did not approve of astrology. Christ Himself alluded to this when He said He was the Way, the Truth, and the Light and that no one gets to the Father except through Him. Astrology purports to be an alternative truth to the prophets; thus it contradicts Christ’s statement which implies that He is the exclusive Truth.

Astrology is all over in the Bible. The Isaiah quote above is one of many.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

It’s important to read the entire chapter 47 of Isaiah, to understand that he’s basically saying that God makes astrology worthless when he so chooses, and THAT is in fact the context of the fall of Babylon.

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Isaiah+47&version=NIV

He’s saying the Jewish people were sent into captivity in Babylon, and yet Babylon was destroyed, and all their belief in themselves and their power and astrology fails because God wills it. God wills the fall of Babylon, and all their powers are worthless.

In that context, it seems to me that – yes – the “wise men of the East” were obviously astrologers, and were led by God to follow their beliefs and seek Christ.

In other words, God >>>>> (infinite) >>>>> Astrology.

And this is very typical of the interaction of the Jewish people, who were counseled not to believe in the world of idols and demonic gods and non-monotheistic practices around them, WITH those idolatrous and pagan cultures, even as God allowed and used these things.

This all goes back to the Judaeo-Christian idea that those who believe in God are set apart from a world which God chooses to allow – and they are expected to set themselves apart. God allows Satan and demons and evil to exist, and even to WORK, at His pleasure, but instructs us to set ourselves apart from these things, in part because they will FAIL at his pleasure as well.

The three wise men are (to me) in many ways a kind of Jewish reminiscence on captivity in Babylon, with the Christian sect leveraging that history as a proof, because Jewish influence of Babylon (many Jews still in the region, of course) was clearly continuing to influence the cultures and religions of the area, and their acknowledgement of the Jewish Messiah would be a powerful article of faith, typical of Matthew’s gospel, as well as other books where prophesy of the Jewish prophets was paramount.

To me, astrology is a temptation – a part of “symbols will be their downfall”. I trust Astronomy because it is governed by Truth and God’s Universe alone. To me, it’s the Hand of God, which we can study without shame or doubt. This is where Galileo was actually more godly than those who persecuted him – those who were tempted to make man the center of things, proudly claiming more than they were due, and who did not ask God, by humble study of the universe, how HE chose to do things.

pgroup2

That is quite the seminar. Very nice.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Thanks! I have been recently studying some related topics, and trying to understand the tricky balance of what God allows, vs. what God expects, and beyond that, what God desires.

And even beyond that, what God wants for us that we cannot comprehend, because it is beyond this universe, and thus our understanding. How can we deal with that?

All of this creating a situation where we can choose to trust, or not to trust. Doesn’t mean we can’t question, but we still have to make choices about following, and that means trusting.

Beautifully put!

A Christian astronomer who has written a number of apologetic books just loves to invoke Psalm 19.

The heavens are telling the glory of God;

and the firmament proclaims his handiwork.

Day to day pours forth speech,

and night to night declares knowledge.

There is no speech, nor are there words;

their voice is not heard;

yet their voice goes out through the earth,

and their words to the end of the world.

Well, my belief system is that God is literally everything, everywhere, all the time. That includes the Heavens which he created, which further includes the stars in the sky. And if looking at the stars led the prophets or the Wise Men to do or say things, then that is the work of God.

Symbols are the work of men. But would that also not include menorahs, the Christian fish, and many other religious symbols?

I don’t practice any one religion, because in the end, they all appear to me to be designed by man to put God “in a box,” so that MAN can define and understand God.

For example, it seems ridiculous to me to think that the entire Creation can be reduced to a page in a book, no matter what that Book may be. That page is just a “box” that people can wrap their head around. But it is a very small box for the Creator of it all to be in.

I ultimately always feel that any attempt to describe God makes God smaller, because we puny humans don’t have the brain capacity to understand the immensity of such a being. I have contented myself with the knowledge that I DON’T KNOW very much at all. And I am fine with that.

I’m not quite done with them. THere’s still about three dozen, at least, ornaments on the dining room table.

gil00

Youve got a lot! We have a teeny tree and our standard. Not overwhelming full.

kalbokalbs

The standard we evolved to. Where we started. Simple.

Barb Meier

I have two closets full of ornaments, a basement with several wreaths, and a store room with a large tree that used to rotate. I used it outside for a couple of years and it stopped the rotation part. That gave me the sads. 😂

Deplorable Patriot

The ornament collection is from travels all over. And that doesn’t count the ones that have broken over the years.

Deplorable Patriot

I’ve been meaning to share this. There’s some weird stuff circulating out there about doubts on the Traditional day we celebrate Christmas. There should not be.

https://stream.org/was-jesus-born-in-december/

pgroup2

The descriptions in Scripture do not match with December. At the very least, I don’t see how they do. But I also think it’s a diabolical scheme that is intended to cause a kerfluffle [division]. We know what Christ said about division.

Deplorable Patriot

Did you READ the article?

There’s more proof if you know Scripture well enough having to do with the conception of St. John the Baptist, and his father’s priestly duties.

TradeBait2

From SD last night. PDT’s quote is what is important. Point being that even PDT knows we need establishment GOP on our side. Is it optimum – no. Is it necessary – yes.

This reads pretty traditional politics to me, but I am sure some can “educate” me on how it is just window dressing for Christmas and the New Year. In no way does it discount the effect and mission of 1-7 IMHO.

https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2022/12/18/president-trump-warns-gop-house-the-alternative-to-mccarthy-could-be-worse/#more-241061

para59r

Liberty Daily and GWP also have stories on this. Trump is not shy about explaining his reasoning. Pretty much what MTG said. Seems some other prominent MAGA types like Jim Jordan, have also been saying the same.

When you look at the rules for electing the speaker of the house, (we posted once on this back when MTG tossed her support to McCarthy) the only thing clear about the rules were they were as dense and muddled as the rules for counting electoral votes and choosing the President.

The bottom line is you may be able to toss McCarthy but getting someone in that you want will likely not happen as the Dems will sully the vote enough to get in an establishment type RINO. Thus the advice is stay with McCarthy and be satisfied that he is being heavily chastised for his past and were back in the “trust he’ll act accordingly”.

TradeBait2

Agreed.

Gail Combs

Unfortunately that is the way it is. We just have to keep on his ASS and make sure he KNOWS we will see he is primaried if he tries to PULL SCHIFF during the next two years.

Think of it as a ‘learning moment’ for the electorate. THEY ARE OUR EMPLOYEES and we have to TELL THEM THAT– 𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗛𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬!!

What I am seeing is that Q and Q+ are trying to teach Americans that it is OUR RESPONSIBILITY to take back our government. And they are teaching us HOW TO DO IT.

Aubergine

Reading comments and such about this at various places has convinced me of one thing for sure; if they put McCarthy in as Speaker, about 30-40% of the base is going to be positively OUTRAGED.

I don’t think enough attention is being paid to what “politics as usual” means in terms of Trump voters, many of whom are FED UP. Fed up enough to give up. I am seeing it everywhere.

People have just had it with the shit personnel choices. Really. They would rather burn it to the ground than have another friggin’ RINO. I’m about there myself. Enough already!

Let’s have a real debate about leadership, and let the chips fall where they may! McCarthy SUCKS. We all know it. Why settle for suck AGAIN?

I don’t think Trump understands that yet another crap leadership pick for him means more ammunition for Ron DeSantis come 2024.

kalbokalbs

All too often I view R-Cons as, consummate losers.

R-Cons are really, really good at losing.

gil00

Politically….bc theyre making bank in their side deals.

Aubergine

They are that!

gil00

I agree. Go along to get along is rino schtik.

Deplorable Patriot

I think Trump gets it. I don’t like it, but I do agree that a rejection of McCarthy is going to yield something much worse. He’s the lesser of two evils.

Sucks.

Robert Baker

He’s the lesser of two evils.”

That must be the Prime Directive of all political reasoning. When something is indefensible it is the number one excuse to stay the course. I can picture this sentence encased in glass with instructions: “IN CASE OF EMERGENCY BREAK GLASS.” Whether McCarthy is the lessor of two evils is a judgment call that may be true but the evidence that McCarthy is unfit to be Speaker is compelling.

To the Republicans in Congress: Please do not try something new it could actually be a solution.

TheseTruths

Please do not try something new it could actually be a solution.

Or, in this case, it might bring on someone far worse. Sometimes you have to play the hand you’re dealt. Under Trump’s leadership, McCarthy can do a lot of good.

Robert Baker

As I said, BREAK GLASS.

pgroup2

Trump ain’t leading squat until 1/20/25 at the earliest. Exception is opinions – he leads there. 😆

Aubergine

Yeah, it sucks. On that, I think many agree.

TheseTruths

Just my opinion, but I’m completely out of patience with people that I’ve seen on other sites who can’t see the forest for the trees. Trump has been on the scene since 2015, and people don’t know by now that much of what he says and does has a purpose that might not be visible on the surface?

Sometimes the choices are between bad and worse. If there are good reasons to support McCarthy and not risk Dems getting in their choice, then McCarthy it is. And that’s not Trump’s fault.

DeSantis is not going to run in 2024. That would cause a tsunami in the Repub Party and would hurt the country. He will not do it.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

I’m seeing DeSantis as a preview of not only what is coming under Trump 2024, but right now, a lot of stuff that won’t even be possible from the White House.

United States of Florida Which Actually Works is a GREAT strategy.

pgroup2

Aubergine

Well, I get it, and I don’t have to like it. But the voters are the voters. I’m just observing.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Bottom line. I now believe McCarthy is “sufficiently owned” by the “good guys” that he will go along with THEIR plan. Trump is basically saying “trust the plan”.

Deplorable Patriot

There’s something to this.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

McCarthy accepted the “Trump gets 90%, RNC gets 10%” deal with Save America. And “Trump’s” power just grew from there, while McCarthy acted more and more red-pilled. I sense certain priorities that don’t seem to originate with either man.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow, that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ.

AMEN.

I haven’t been paying attention to football for sometime now. Seems someone is connecting dots with injuries and the jab? Seems like a logical conclusion.

https://pjmedia.com/columns/david-solway-2/2022/12/16/watching-football-n1654288

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Hard to say, honestly…because ALL pro football players got the jab (and probably almost all college ones too).

So you can’t point to Group A (no jab, fewer injuries) and then to Group B (identical except for jab and more injuries). You can only point to before and after, and then they can claim all sorts of other changes were responsible for the difference.

Brave and Free

True, plausible deniability.

RDS

It’s a complicated situation. Yours Truly knows a neurologist who was consulted by the NFL regarding retired players who suffered head injuries / concussions while they were active players in the league. These retired players were either over or under age 40. There were “older” injuries that occurred in the over-40 group before COVID-19 showed up. These injuries may have been aggravated by the J_A_B in the older group (assuming that they were “vaccinated”), but it’s hard to tell. There were “newer” injuries in the younger, “vaccinated” retired players, but again, it’s hard to tell if these may have been aggravated by the J_A_B.

Yours Truly: The CDC is now recommending that ALL persons age 5 and older in the United States get a COVID-19 “booster shot” EVERY TWO MONTHS, because the CDC believes that “immunity” acquired from any previous “booster shot” wears off in about 8 weeks.
Dr. Malone cites a study in the International Journal of Infectious Diseases that demonstrate that NATURAL IMMUNITY is better and lasts longer.

Elon’s “free speech” Twitter. (new policy as of today)

He is saying you can not advertise his competitors on Twatter. That is not unreasonable.

bflyjesusgrl 🍊 😎MEGA MAGA GAME ON😎

It’s nutz. What about Govt entities, his advertisers, they all list their links. We can’t bring over TS posts from 47?? Is he trying to get Trump Back? What about links from Brietbart, TGP, or YT and sites that have commenting allowed. That’s social interaction aka competition. None of the others do that to him. Seems juvenile/petty.

Very interesting. Thank you for this.

I see that God-forsaken BELFER CENTER and that ChiCom-led “Trust and Safety Professionals” organization behind this.

They used allegations of foreign influence on social media to gain domestic speech control.

Wondering when Elon is going to start a series of Covid releases.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

I think it’s coming. And his poll about “should I stay” is baiting in the leftist fish!

Aubergine

You don’t think he’d really leave, do you?

This past couple of weeks has been the first time I’ve enjoyed social media since Trump was kicked off Twitter!

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

I think the theories that he’s going to appoint a CEO are right on the money. He’s just flexing his muscles right now! The bots fell for it, too!

cthulhu

I think it’s clear that he will soon appoint a new CEO.

It’s also quite clear who it is going to be.

Mark was a great man, patriot, and friend who was on my Secret Service detail for years and passed away tragically this week leaving behind a wife and two young children. Anything you can do to get his family through these trying times would be incredible!

It would be nice if there were good numbers tracking these died suddenly events. Seems to be all over the place at this point.

Insurers and Embalmers.

Pretty safe to assume SS is jabbed. Just like all govt (except Congress) and military.

There are NO coincidences. Insurers have the data.

I’m still periodically reading through the notes people added to their death reports for Kirsch’s survey, from the “Notes” column at this link:

https://airtable.com/shrQTOPC13dvHiHNT/tblTntfwhoVqKXl0l

This one represents so much of the suffering many vulnerable people experienced due to lockdown & social distancing tyranny.

My physically fit mother, a dancer who took no medications, died of lockdown-related mental torture leading ultimately to antipsychotic-medication- and sedentary-lifestyle-induced intestinal rupture.

She had Alzheimer’s, and her assisted living facility became a prison where every social, intellectual and exercise-related activity shut down, and all that was left were the 3 meals a day served by masked and plastic-visored automatons — worse treatment than animals receive.

Her sharp decline began when she could no longer be strung along believing that she had recently seen me, had left home, had a normal life (for a very happy, healthy woman with Alzheimers), etc. She became paranoid and by the 5th month of this had a total breakdown.

After recuperating in hospital, where ironically enough (and with outrageous inconsistency) I was able to visit her daily for long hours to play “interpreter” (no vaccine questions asked in a blue state), she moved into a more hands-on adult family home — but covid kept us apart there too. They never insisted either she or I be vaccinated, but I had to fight to keep her on high vitamin D, and fight for the weekly ~15 minute walk she was granted outside, where I was allowed only to hold her gloved hand in my own (resulting in an approximately 6-foot distance between us) and almost never sneak hugs for fear of being relegated to “zoom visits” or “visits” through a window screen.

Unforgivable invisible crimes against humanity were committed during these years and still are being committed.

Good luck in your project and all your work and thanks for reading this.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

WOW. Branch Covidians. MONSTERS.

Valerie Curren

Multiply this kind of suffering by probably Millions worldwide, incomprehensible evil!

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Should Elon stay or go poll has now swung back in favor of Elon!

Hope Elon stays on for Covid revelations AND evidence can be released.

One could say “same news, different day”, but the truth is, they had to PROVE that all of Trump’s allegations are true. And they have. So it looks prescient, but it’s just old news that’s still true.

The purging of the Nebraska RINO faction last year is paying dividends. I spoke with a NE State Senator and here is what they’re up to.

6 bills on elections are forward that must be passed, including:

*Winner take all (no more split Omaha electoral vote) effective immediately
*Vote in person at precinct, hand count, no machines
*Election day, state holiday

Voters also passed Voter ID, which will need a bill.
Huge.
