The End of the World
The event usually referred to as “the end of the world” (eschaton) is described in 2 Peter 3:10: “The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.” This is the culmination of a series of events called “the day of the Lord,” the time when God will intervene in human history for the purpose of judgment. At that time, all that God has created, “the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1), He will destroy.
The timing of this event, according to most Bible scholars, is at the end of the 1000-year period called the millennium. During these 1000 years, Christ will reign on earth as King in Jerusalem, sitting on the throne of David (Luke 1:32-33) and ruling in peace but with a “rod of iron” (Revelation 19:15). At the end of the 1000 years, Satan will be released, defeated again, and then cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:7-10). Then, after a final judgment by God, the end of the world described in 2 Peter 3:10 occurs. The Bible tells us several things about this event.
First, it will be cataclysmic in scope. The “heavens” refers to the physical universe – the stars, planets, and galaxies—which will be consumed by some kind of tremendous explosion that will consume and obliterate all matter as we know it. All the elements that make up the universe will be melted in the “fervent heat” (2 Peter 3:12). This will also be a noisy event, described in different Bible versions as a “roar” (NIV), a “great noise” (KJV), a “loud noise” (CEV), and a “thunderous crash” (AMP). There will be no doubt as to what is happening. Everyone will see and hear it because we are also told that “the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.”
Then God will create a “new heaven and a new earth” (Revelation 21:1), which will include the “New Jerusalem” (v. 2), the capital city of heaven, a place of perfect holiness, which will come down from heaven to the new earth. This is the city where the saints—those whose names were written in the “Lamb’s book of life” (Revelation 13:8)—will live forever. Peter refers to this new creation as “the home of righteousness” (2 Peter 3:13).
Perhaps the most important part of Peter’s description of that day is his question in verses 11-12: “Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming.” Christians know what is going to happen, and we should live in a way that reflects that understanding. This life is passing away, and our focus should be on the new heavens and earth to come. Our “holy and godly” lives should be a testimony to those who do not know the Savior, and we should tell others about Him so they can escape the terrible fate that awaits those who reject Him. We wait in eager anticipation for God’s “Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come” (1 Thessalonians 1:10).
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. 1 John 2:15-17

First thing is a heads-up.
I will be “not posting or commenting” for varying periods of time during the first part of the year, and possibly in the summer and fall as well. The time periods will vary between 2-3 days and 1-2 weeks.
Reasons will vary. Trips, major projects, medical – a lot of stuff going on. Nothing to be concerned about, but I just need to take care of things as spring approaches. Spring is a big deal for me, every year, as you may have noticed. I get most of my physical labor jobs done then.
I may or may not get opportunities to update things on the site, or take care of private messages, etc. So just be prepared for me to disappear for times. It’s OK – don’t worry about it. If I’m absent from here for much more than 2 weeks, then something may be up.
In anticipation of this, you’ll be seeing placeholder posts more frequently on Mondays. If I post, it will be separate, discrete articles, for the most part.

For whoever complained, I apologize, it was not my intent.
I’m pretty sure I know who he’s talking about here, and it was someone who would maintain that any claim that the cavalry wasn’t coming, was demoralizing.

What do you think of all the political cartoons that depict the difficult situations we are experiencing today? (There is at least one on this page.) Are they demoralization efforts? The point of memes is to present truth in different ways in order to reach people and possibly wake some of them up. But out of all those, this one is “demoralization”?
Sometimes people are awakened to reality and inspired to act. I place this meme in the category of those that can accomplish this, depending on the audience. I have an optimistic, not a demoralized, view of the potential of the message.
I think our own degree of awakening has a lot to do with how we view efforts to awaken, OF others BY others, both of which can have different levels of awakening from our own.

It’s hard to read, because it’s like some kind of, I don’t even know what the term is, some kind of therapy, to continually re-live the victimization, without ever doing anything about it.
There’s certainly nothing remotely associated with ‘closure’ about reveling in the nightmare.

Coming though it unscathed and stronger thanks to this wonderful forum. I reflected the last couple of months while knitting clearing my mind refocusing. The slippery slop of being victimized is real more often than we realize it is faith community and the inner strength we all have. What do people do who lack faith and community and live in fear every time there is a crisis real or imagined ?
I do feel for people who were failed by doctors who did not look beyond what they were told. I feel for the people who were shoved to early to their grave in nursing homes. I feel for people who took the jab and who took their children and babies to get the jab with horrible consequences.
Wolfie, a couple days ago I was talking with Sylvia about how psychologically and physically we’ve been affected by the last three years. And I was one of the stronger ‘copers’ armed with accurate information. I was never afraid; I only wore mask when I absolutely needed to be in a store that harrassed you; I never allowed anyone to ‘test’ me; and I NEVER got sick. But the toll of changed daily routines (gym & restaurants closed); losing friends & family who shunned me for not being vaxed; and the absurd ever-changing mandates & mask bullshit just wore me down.
I was prohibited from in-person goodbyes to each of my beloved parents on their death beds (Dad passed (non-covid-related) prior to vax being available, thank goodness, and Mom passed from a massive coronary that I’m convinced was brought on by her vax.)
My two precious teen grandchildren both suffered severe depression & isolation and one is so far behind her normal schooling level, she will graduate without the education she should have received. Schools are simply passing the buck, and passing children who can’t meet the standards.
i now trust few people and like even fewer people. I have ZERO tolerance for hearing people who still want to discuss covid testing or questions before a gathering.
i want to stop feeling the anger and impotence of the oppression that was foisted on us. I want justice, and if that doesn’t occur, I want revenge. God forgive me for that feeling but it’s what I feel.

Sorry to hear this Allison. I was one of the lucky ones who lives in a noncompliance State. Basically had two weeks of nonsense, and I refused to comply when I traveled.
Living in a small town the covid mandates were not enforced. Just the three years not seeing my kids we will not get back but it was their choice. Going out for dinner I did not miss. I am one of those people who is contend within myself and happy to live a solitary life. I am never bored . This might be different people living in cities or not having space in the home or garden. God has been good and I am grateful for all the blessing that come my way.
Praying for your peace, Alison. The anger is real. Losing your parents and one likely to the jabs is devastating and infuriating at the same time.
Our nation may never see actual justice displayed over these events. It is not my preference as well. I want them to all hang until dead and I am willing to pull the lever. However, we have to accept it may be God’s will for it to go unpunished in this world at this time as He has other plans.

These things are terrible to read. Terrible. But in them, what I see over and over again is people allowing the government and others to make decisions for them.
My family and I made a plan early on for how NOT to be victimized by these people. That included medical powers of attorney, and plans for how to never be hospitalized. I went so far as to get myself ordained as a minister so they couldn’t keep me away, in the unlikely chance that our precautions failed, and someone ended up in a hospital.
I made so many “shady” moves, I felt like a member of the French Resistance must have felt in WWII. And it SUCKED.
We have grown complacent and lazy in America. Fighting back is just so “hard.” But I would have done far more than I did, if push had come to shove. That would have included moving out of a psychotic “blue” state if necessary. I had plans to move to South Dakota if Montana went south. And I meant to carry them out.
We had all better get used to the “French Resistance” mentality. Because I highly doubt they are done with us. And I don’t do “victim.”

That’s a good article. It is wise to realize on a broader level what society has experienced because that affects us all moving forward. The statements were brief, not drawn-out descriptions of suffering, and I skimmed through because I don’t think it’s healthy to dwell on them.
So IMO, know what is affecting yourself and others, but also move past it and help them recover. And I believe that knowing how people have been affected helps us prepare for new threats to our freedom and well-being. Those who are sick, hurting, angry, and grieving can be more vulnerable to new systems of control or to extreme reactions that only cause more trouble. Knowledge is power.
Yup. I think it’s important that people speak out about what was done to them, and that others gain RESOLVE from those statements.

Mark Steyn, of whom some of you know, has been bringing attention to the Dutch farmers’ plight for the better part of a year. Mark has a weekday (except for Friday, I think) news show on GB News, a British news network. He has featured Eva several times over the past months. I believe Eva is Dutch and she has worked tirelessly as an advocate for the Dutch farmers. If she says it is a grave situation you can take it to the bank. She does not engage in hyperbole. The bad news, which I heard from Mark just this past Friday on his podcast, is that GB News is changing its political tone. It appears that GBN may be redirecting its focus into a more politically correct direction to comply with pressure from the political elite. Mark thinks that his show’s editorial freedom. even to the point of losing his program, may be threatened by this new direction.
This is to underline what Eva says in her video. In some places, we who champion individual liberties are losing. The threat is real and the Dutch farmers are on the front line.

At 5:54 in the top image the outer shape looks almost exactly like something I blew out of my nose some months back. The problem is if all you did was typo the page you wanted (or left off .com) Google now knows you’re visiting that page.
Firefox (which claims to respect your privacy…yeah, right; that’s why it gave effing GOOGLE this gift) can be configured NOT to do this, but it’s painful.
There can be. AI is a lot like Google, only it moves the intelligence out to wherever it’s running, so it may actually be advantageous for our side. A lot of AI’s usefulness depends on access to data.

HCQ is approved for use for malaria.

I reveal my bias in an effort to give clarity to my many charges here of the destructive activities of the ‘Neocons’ which some here may see as broad brush smearing of Jews or some such. Most will agree that it was difficult for Bibi to pull a coalition together for the election late last year. Well apparently he has indeed sold his soul to some entity to get elected, as I see attacks from all quarters. And, as loose a cannon as Ms Lindsey can be, it is an amateur next to … Bibi is intent on upsetting the applecart wherever he can gain the spotlight. He has now offered his services as negotiator if Zelensky will sit down with Russia. His predecessor. PM Bennett did a great job… but apparently Blinken nipped that in the bud.
Bibi is as current PM is bad news for the world. (My thoughts … ymmv)
I personally prefer Bibi to the “WEF-Backed Left-Right Alliance Amateur Hour” that Israel just got out of, but I really agree with the idea that Bibi has made BAD DEALS to get back into power! That explains so much.
I’m thinking that Bibi wants to negotiate something that leaves most of Ukraine as its own state, and is talking weapons to gain credibility with the West. IMO all sides in Israel want Ukraine to remain independent so that it can basically be a colony and region of direct Jewish influence. To that end, they are willing to make peace with Russia, giving them Crimea and the Donbas regions. In that sense, they oppose the dunderheads in NATO and EU, the Soros/Schwab Jazis, and the Biden Crime Syndicate, who all want an endless war for their own reasons.
IMO the best way out of this for all the sane people (Russia, MAGA, China, European people, Ukrainian people) is for the people of America to start advocating for an END TO NATO – meaning that “America should withdraw from NATO”.
Spread that idea, and the NATO/Atlantis profiteers will back out fast to retain their position, by forcing NATO to retreat to the closest thing to a legitimate condition – defending Western European nations against an invasion that will never come.
Yeah, that’s a grift, but a relatively harmless one.
Thus, we need to push the idea among Americans:
WITHDRAW FROM NATO!

That RAND report sees this. What they KNOW but did NOT print is that they realize the truth – Russia will be keeping Crimea and the Donbas region.
NATO is in the position of realizing that “over-expansion” was a MIRAGE. A very expensive and disastrous one that cost many lives and only forced Russia to convert INFLUENCE of Ukraine into OWNERSHIP of the Russian regions.

China’s helium balloon illustrated this disturbing fact for all those tuned in to its faint signal.
But the much larger object floating overhead is the Federal Reserve’s unfathomably bloated balance sheet, which is both impossible to photograph and even more difficult to explain to the nation’s distracted citizenry.
“We’ve raised rates four and a half percentage points, and we’re talking about a couple of more rate hikes to get to that level we think is appropriately restrictive,” said Chairman Powell, at the press conference. “Why do we think that’s probably necessary? We think because inflation is still running very hot,” he added. I don’t understand the frequent assertion that the balloon distracted anyone (we can’t walk and chew gum at the same time?), or that anyone feared the balloon.
It’s a simple thing.
If a foreign nation invades your airspace, you shoot it down, or you don’t have sovereign control of your own nation, in the same way that if we don’t have borders, we don’t have a country.
The reaction to the balloon was not about the balloon, it was about the LACK of reaction by the people who SHOULD have knocked it out of the sky 5 seconds after it entered U.S. territorial waters.
That the U.S. gov’t did NOTHING as some foreign entity violated our airspace is what the big deal was about, NOT the balloon itself.
For an analogy, imagine a pedophile engaging in the dissemination of child porn INSIDE a police station, while the police stand around and do nothing.
People were reacting to the ‘proper authorities’ doing nothing about a violation of U.S. airspace by a hostile foreign adversary.
Isn’t that something the American People should be concerned about?
