Biology is the study of plants and plant parasites.
Plants engage in BOTH photosynthesis and cellular respiration, keeping both O2 and CO2 juggling in the air (to the extent that plants can do it, limited by physical processes and geology).
The more plants, the more of both gases are juggled into the air.
Plant parasites can only engage in cellular respiration, converting some of that O2 and stored reduced carbon (from both living and dead plants) back to CO2.
Plant parasites pride themselves on their own necessity, but imagine if plants simply engaged in more cellular respiration. The need for plant parasites would go away. However, there are advantages to the creation of autonomous plant parasites, and that’s why they exist. (One could also say God designed them, but that’s equivalent, IMO).
Plant parasites help plants maintain an effective and adaptive balance of CO2 and O2, and now those parasites have developed a rapid form of intelligence which allows them to promote the growth of plants.
A.k.a. agriculture.
IMO (like Gail), atmospheric CO2 needs to be MAINTAINED for the benefit of abundant plant life. If geologic processes won’t do it, human processes should. Of course, the level of oxygen is important, too, but serving plants is our purpose in some perspectives, so good CO2 comes first, and let the plants then respond with the good O2 levels! 😉

After seeing DePat’s twitter video, this guy is a joke. It’s literally like watching a SNL skit.
There’s a difference between a ballet studio and a ballet company. A studio lets anyone take classes, and all the students participate in its performances. They have a yearly recital where everyone shows what they’ve learned. Almost without fail, the little kids look cute in their costumes and can’t perform a cohesive dance. The teenaged dancers do better, but few dance at a very high level. This guy would fit right in — but as the male that he is.

They let you begin. If you couldn’t keep up with the class, unfortunately, they decided to let you go. In this guy’s case, he is working on the form of the movement but does not have the quality of the movement, so he would be able to keep up but just wouldn’t look like a real dancer — which is the case with a lot of people who take lessons at studios. That is okay because people take dance lessons for their own enjoyment and for the benefit they receive from it. I think that is what’s going on with this guy and that he doesn’t aspire to be a prima ballerina, but he wants to push the trans agenda and draw attention to himself while doing it. If he were functioning as a male at a local dance studio, he could be very active in their organization.

What will be ** fun ** to see is how professional ballet companies (think the Royal Ballet, the Mariinsky Ballet, and so on) will have to change the choreography of classical ballet pieces (think “The Nutcracker”) to “accommodate” transgender “ballerinas.”
This also raises the question of, If “trans women” can be trained as “classical ballerinas”, do female dancers now have to be trained to be danseurs (male ballet dancers, think Rudolf Nureyev)?

Last week began a series of attacks against myself stemming from my inserting one for one counter memes against an onslaught of tired memes against a prominent national poster.
I was hit by two counter posters for a day and half. Then a third the next day and the day after which they brought in a heavy hitter. I defeated him handedly in a two day interchange. Below was his first twit to me. Not sure if you can follow it up to the last or not, but I enjoyed it and their heavy hitter ended up slinking away. I was nice and did not taunt him about the latest shooter which was reported on the next day as being a memes guy who hated Trump. Maybe that was the reason he slunk away… don’t know for sure.

Blocking and muting are both good options. I generally mute argumentative pests who demand attention and become toxic. That way they can have their free speech, and I get “auto-scroll” past their comments. Typically, NOT RESPONDING drives them away.
Ignore should be fine. But let us know if you get another like this from him or another as I suspect they work in packs. This one is likely a good distance from you and blowing steam. Archive it for now. If you have a LE friend might want to show it to them. Legitimately I think you could demand some sort of action, but you do not want to tip them off that your doing such.

Kindness and optimism are good, but I can’t claim that I was being kind to Mulvaney! I think he is working diligently to ensnare as many young people as he can into his own sick mindset. She’ll be 90 years old in June and was first elected to the Senate in 1992. She appears to be hanging out there until she dies. She could have retired much earlier, but at least in 2018 when she was 85, and could have done other things to support her causes. But no, it’s as if she and some others have to haunt the halls of Congress, growing increasingly decrepit, until they can no longer function.
That said, if her continued status as a senator stalls the Left’s agenda, I’ll take it.
