Tucker Carlson Was Blindsided by Fox News Firing
On Monday morning, Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott called Carlson and informed him he was being taken off the air, and his Fox News email account was shut off. According to a source briefed on the conversation, Carlson was stunned by his sudden ouster from his 8 p.m. show, the most watched program in cable news last month. Carlson was in the midst of negotiating the renewal of his Fox News contract through 2029, the source said. As of last week, Carlson had told people he expected the contract to be renewed.
Carlson has told people he doesn’t know why he was terminated. According to the source, Scott refused to tell him how the decision was made; she only said that it was made “from above.” Carlson has told people he believes his controversial show is being taken off the air because the Murdoch children intend to sell Fox News at some point.
The network provided few details in a Monday statement: “Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways,” it read. “We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.”
DP: Until Tucker Carlson actually comments publicly on what happened, take all accounts as rumor and hearsay. It will be interesting to find out who comes the closest to the truth.

Have had the good fortune of having hiked Half Dome. Slept over night on it once. Second time a thunderstorm in the distance had us scamper off, down. Slept under the redwoods that night.
Hetch Hetchy Valley Reservoir. Cooth has mentioned this in the past. Major water source for much of Bay Area. The reservoir, quite controversial.
Many, many great times in Yosemite. 🙂

She notes last colonoscopy was 2020, next is 2025. Me, “I thought it was 10 years, when no polyps found”. Quack, “They recommended five years”. (Yea, that IS a bullshit answer.)
Dentists are another money making machine. On par with used car salesman.
Push her for Cologard test (fecal exam by mail) if you’re not wanting to get a colonoscopy.
They’re very easy and accurate. They don’t find early benign polyps but they will find anything going bad.

Yes. The thing is, though, that I have not reposted things that are in the daily. I go out of my way to try not to do that and also to try not to post comments that have already been covered. Of course my efforts are probably not perfect, but I can’t think of one instance where a Branco cartoon has been posted twice.
The author of the daily posts it before anyone can comment on it, so whoever posts the daily has control of its content and the first chance to put that content out. Therefore, it doesn’t make sense that Branco can’t be posted in the daily just because I often post it in the comments. The daily comes first. If something gets posted there, I don’t post it. It has happened before that I noticed a Branco cartoon in the daily, so I didn’t post one.

i agree. So many “names” are missing the point. It’s the apparatus, not the response from voters to the candidates. We are dealing with family members, coworkers, friends, neighbors and leaders who sold their souls to the devil over generations.

Excellent. I wish the public would wake up before some other “health emergency” is thrust upon us, with accompanying mask mandates and who knows what else.
That mask thing is personal to our family. We are now 100% convinced that is what triggered our grandson’s absence seizures. They did not start until soon after masking started in school. It has taken two years to work them out of his system, which thankfully has happened. Once he has his routine follow-up neurological exam in May I will update everybody on here.
My dog had seizures and I traced it back to flea and tick meds. I stopped them and he is getting people grade natural meds to strengthen his nervous system.
He has had no more seizures for almost a year. They must have changed something in the meds that out of the blue caused his problem.
Unless you know what caused your grandchild’s seizure it could be any toxins that caused his problems. With covid people were spraying all kind of stuff everywhere. Wonder how many people got sick.
Yes please keep us updated. By the way I am the one who told the vet and connected the meds with puppies problem.

Mini ground report.
Made another interesting visit to a local Walmart today. Over the past 6 months we are continuing to observe a large reduction of product lines. They are stocked well with the products they carry, there are just many less product types and competing products. This has been the case in three different superstores in the area.
For years the aisle caps would be stocked with whatever as well as products stacked in the middle of the mail aisles. That has probably been reduced by as much as 50%. There is a great deal of empty space now, making it easier to get around. In one store there was an entire area vacant that formerly housed about three rows of long shelving.
The stores appear much cleaner and the lighting is better without the crowding. Prices are holding steady. Not good, just steady, and less than competitors. Plenty of workers.
We found a similar situation at our area’s largest Kroger superstore. Entire sections of shelving removed.
As a side note, if you want to have some fun, spot the masked shoppers and move closer to them while loudly coughing or sniffling. Sort of trail them for a time. Their reactions are priceless. 🤣
