First up on this Fourth of July, the 247th anniversary of the day the English colonists told the crown to shove it, is the whole Twitter thing. On Saturday, management at Twitter put a limit on the amount of traffic users could see and create, and made it so that people without accounts could not view tweets.
That caused a lot of consternation, and a lot of jumping to conclusions before all the facts were in.
There have been a number of suggestions as to what Elon Musk, one time deep stater (may or may not be now), was up to.
First the fiduciary guy, Sundance:

He thinks this is all about generating revenue. Well, there’s a little problem with that:

Given my education and background in media/marketing, I tend to agree with the premise of the article. The limits would make a mess of advertising revenue.
A couple suggestions came from Q-Treepers:

It’s also important to note that twitter has 500,000+ servers. That’s not free. In cloud data centers, the companies that use them have to pay for what is called “ingress and egress” of data going “in and out” of the servers. A data scrapping event that is large enough for them to start limiting means that it was a MASSIVE event that could be considered an attack on the site. It would also put massive load on their servers and cost them so much money it could threaten the site’s financial ability to keep running. It could be on purpose to put twitter out of business from cost alone.
Many people are misunderstanding why @elonmusk
wants people to pay for twitter or for the twitter API (a programming interface that can pull data for other sites and apps).The reason he wants people to pay is because if China or porn companies want to create massive bot farms of fake accounts, it is currently free. These bad actors are highly skilled and operate like a business. They have professional staff that continuously change their tactics and Twitter engineers have to fight 24/7 to stay ahead of them. If they have to pay for every account or pay to use the API, it would cost them A LOT of money. This limits the amount of people who could create bots, put automated porn on here, and the hacking/scrapping/DDOS attacks on the site. It protects you.
It also guarantees twitter will continue to exist without bloating it with tons of ads. This is all a part of the plan to create a free-speech place we can enjoy without being controlled by outside actors or advertising companies. I know $8 is a lot to some people but, it is for many reasons. None of the reasons are to hurt or punish people.

How?
We can’t make any other countries stop, and it’s not like the criminals running our gov’t would ever stop either, they would just keep using it and lie about it.
But even if we did stop, what would that accomplish, besides unilateral surrender, to all the countries who keep developing and using it?
How would banning AI be different from banning guns, i.e., so only the criminals and gov’t agencies (I repeat myself) have them?
There is a sort of a barn door problem here, but I think the answer is not whether AI should be unplugged — it should — but what it should be unplugged from.
For this scheme to work, AI must be capable of inhaling immense amounts of data to determine the state of narratives in the ecology. This should be unplugged, and it appears that Elon is doing so.
Second, AI must be able to exhale immense amounts of content into the ecology to steer the narrative in the desired direction. While this isn’t happening, people on their own can just start discounting narratives — saying things like “Fake News” or identifying people as “Fed, Fed, Fed”…..oh, wait, we’re already doing that.
Even as TPTB seem to be clutching the “AI controls narrative” tool, it seems to be slipping from their grasp.

Yeah, that’s interesting, because it means that the issue of reciprocity is not part of this graph, but it’s a very important part of travel. So basically Wyoming for the traveler becomes “shall issue license in home state which may be constitutional carry” (basically blue license from a green state).
Yes. A lot of these states will still issue you a permit if you want one…mainly for use in other states.

If you want to stop using sunscreen altogether, like I did a decade ago (fair skin, blue-eyed blond who burned in 15 minutes), eat a cup of dark berries every day. A mix of blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and strawberries has the antioxidants that will protect your skin.
I never wear sunscreen anymore, and even with hours in the sun, I do not burn. I only get a light tan, and never get dark.
I never wear and never have worn sunscreen and am 78. I work in the garden but never lay out in the sun to roast. I do wear a sun hat not to have sun in my eyes.
Take vitamin C I learned from people S. Africa when I visited there.
I eat berries everyday have for years because I like them. Also never wear make up never have.
I do not think it is good to wear it and be out in the sun just my thoughts on that.
A too much information story coming>>> recently my dear neice,husband and kids came to visit. While at the beach and anywhere outside, my gosh, I’ve never seen such sun fear. The kids and adults wore sun protective stuff, originally called rash guard shirts. Hats and applied and reapplied huge amounts of sunscreen.
I sat there all day same as them with no sunscreen because there was a canopy to sit under…I got some sun but not burned.
Mentally I was shaking my head and recalling as kids all of us running nuts ,swimming and whatnot without any skin suffocating sunscreen. None of us were burnt up..cuz our parents made us go inside before that happened.
The indoctrination runs deep…buy $50 worth of anti-sun lotion and be sure to buy various age related products and then buy more if you think those bottles are “old”. Suckers !

I read some time ago that sunscreen can be counter productive. My kids also used to run around in summer without sunscreen. I had a rule they come in at 1 PM until 3-4 PM. That was quiet time and reading or playing quietly in their rooms. This was to protect from the St Louise heat. No one ever was burned.
My daughter became overprotective with her daughter lots of sunscreen from first when the baby was out. She was fanatic about it. As teenager the child broke out terabyte. She had to stop sunscreen .

Now that the new construction and development crush is winding down along with other sectors who benefited from PDT’s initiatives; the banks are pulling back from the higher perceived risk of lending to invest back into the T-bonds at higher interest rates in the worsening economy. Most will not hold the current purchases long term, they will sell them to take profits as interest rates rise and reinvest one way or the other once they see if PDT goes back in or not.
This is how the “normal” banking game works.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. I think that’s correct. I don’t think the issue was whether she needed hospitalization and surgery, but how the hospital treatment should commence. Her account does not inspire confidence in patient-centered care vs. following a protocol, unfortunately.
A burst appendix spreads bad stuff in your body and you must have surgery to clean it out. I believe she had the surgery but also had very bad infection. When I was young, if an appendix burst, a person was not expected to survive it.

I should have elaborated. Laws are presumed constitutional and precedents are presumed correct. Actions of prosecutors are presumed to be in good faith (follow law and constitution).
A prosecution under a law that has already been ruled unconstitutional (or is likely unconstitutional) is NOT a prosecution in good faith. IOW the normal presumption does not exist.

I read a couple of days ago that the main forces of the Ukrainian army were leaving the Zaporozhye region. The report didn’t say where the main force was being relocated to but I was left with a sense that everyone’s eyes are supposed to focus on Zaporozhye while another offensive is being prepared for. I could be wrong RAC, but I tend to think the precise prediction is a misdirection.
Especially considering the NATO conference coming up.

Since September 2022, the ZAES power volumes that were not in demand by the former Ukraine will switch to other directions.
The high -voltage line on the Crimea destroyed by Ukrainian terrorists is restored. Lines for Mariupol, Taganrog and Rostov-on-Don and further on the Crimea will also be built, which will create an energy ring around the Sea of Azov.

Russia came in and got rid of the Ukraine management but retained the Ukraine employees until such time as Russians could be brought up to snuff.
Then if we move forward to the explosion of the Kakhovka Hydroplant and we are given information that only two of the plants stations are online.
I don’t think Russia is reducing its presence in Zaporozhye, I think there’s not as much work with much of the plant shut down and the Russian nuclear energy employees have been on site for over a year. It’s not surprising to hear that employees are leaving the Nuclear power plant at this time, but there is no way with trillions of dollars at stake that Russia is pulling troops away from Zaporozhye.

Ok, I made it through Sound of Freedom without a complete breakdown, so here is my review. No spoilers.
As bad as the subject matter is, it was not as bad as it could have been from our perspective. There was no mention of murdering children, or torturing them for adrenochrome. This was strictly about sex trafficking.
The film is very, very sad throughout, though. Jim Cavaziel is amazing. His emotional journey as Timothy Ballard is moving and real. I am sure Cavaziel has seen things he can’t unsee, and they haunt him. His eyes are windows to a tortured soul.
There is no such thing as a happy ending here, so I didn’t expect happy. But I did feel a sense that something good was accomplished and is ongoing with Operation Underground Railroad.
My conclusions, having watched this and thought about it all afternoon, is that the only way to end trafficking of children is death. Child rape, first offense, death sentence. One appeal, it fails, sentence carried out. Traffic a child, first offense, same. For “passive” abuse, i.e. possession of child porn; first offense, life sentence, one appeal. Until we are willing to punish these people to the maximum, the lure of the sin and the money are too great to overcome.
