I think that an island like Maui is a great test case.
If the majority of Maui residents revolted against the insanely evil power structure and eradicated it, burned it down and chased the survivors into the sea, what would happen to them?
There would be nobody left on the island to try to arrest anyone, and even if some gov’t criminal escaped into the woods, he isn’t going to be showing his face again, ever.
There would be nobody left to prosecute anyone, and even if there was, who’s going to convict them? What potential member of the jury didn’t know someone who was murdered by the government burning their friends and loved ones to death?
So there is nothing that would happen to them, because there wouldn’t be anyone to do anything to them, and even if there was, nobody would be convicted.
I can already hear you, making criminal officials go swimming with the fishes is probably considered a federal crime, so Brandon will send the fibbies in to arrest everybody.

I don’t enjoy defending electric cars, and the only company whose product I know anything about is Tesla, but I’m pretty sure at least Tesla is aware that releasing a self-driving car that drives into walls is unlikely to boost sales 😂
I would also expect the doors to have manual overrides, either that, or Tesla better have massive liability insurance to cover inevitable baked driver and passenger claims.
I always wondered about that same problem with regular cars. If the car has power locks and windows, and the electric is cut (due to collision destroying or disconnecting the battery, or car sinking into a lake, etc.), how do you open the door or get the window down?
The Tesla is the car I was thinking of. They’ve had problems with their “self-driving” feature, and there have been crashes (self-driving or not) where the main battery caught fire, the auxiliary (12v) battery was damaged (or the control wiring toasted) and the occupants were not able to get out of the car as the doors open ELECTRICALLY.
I’ve had a number of cars with power locks over the last 50 years, and they all still had a manual release…..
Ass-u-ming a design (or designer) will work correctly is just as bad (or worse) an idea in cars as it is in software..
The crypto and stock investment guy I watch every day on youtube has had a Tesla for something like 4 years now, with regularly updated Full Self Driving (FSD).
He loves it. It gets auto-updated regularly, I think he’s on version 11 something. Says he has had ZERO maintenance since he bought the car. Hasn’t even changed the tires. He mostly recharges at home, so his cost is practically nothing compared to gas.
I often see things posted here from the MSM about Telsa, and then check this guy’s Patreon website, and he has already debunked it and laid out the facts.
It’s like watching MSM about anything else, it’s either bogus for political reasons, or it’s straight up pay-to-play and the MSM is trashing Tesla at the behest of their advertisers like Ford, GM, etc.

We have a number of parking structures and garages that don’t allow electric cars to park there. And now a number of ferry operators are doing the same.
Seems a couple of ships have already run into trouble….
N.B. Parking lots have attendants checking for “overstays” and other issues (e.g. dog or child(!) left unattended in a car, etc.), and they can see if a car is electric or not… license plates here have an “E” on the end, although just seeing what make an model a car is is sufficient…

Our house in Livermore (Livenomore) had sprinklers, required by code. As a bonus, the 1¼ or 1½ water main to the house allowed for an impressive lawn/garden sprinkler system 🙂

On the one hand, I didn’t like the idea of stuff getting wet if a sprinkler went off accidentally; on the other, if there really was a fire, it would (probably) help quite a bit.
I think there was an alarm that detected if the sprinklers were going, but it’s been a long, long time (almost 30 years), though my cobwebbed brain should remember. I know I’d remember if it had gone off 😆

Almost assuredly a dry system – no water past the sprinkler valve. Water gets past the valve, sensor activated.
Have some history maintaining wet and dry systems while in the Navy. Dry, no water at the individual sprinkler head. Wet, water at the sprinkler heads.
IIRC they were the wet type, with a wax seal. If the temperature goes up enough to melt the way, on come the sprinklers…

Wow, and here I am trying to give people encouragement of who we actually are not who the uniparty/media tell us we are. Lots to be done.
I did listen to Tucker’s interview with Vivek and he had a lot of great points and is a very smart person. It has gotten so hard to trust anyone. He suggests the fix must come within our families filling the void. They played a clip of a lady who asked Vivek a question about LGBT and his response to her. Vivek told Tucker that he felt the young lady was lost and when he asked her what she thought, she had a vacant look in her eyes. He says we need to learn again who we are and fill that void.
It’s the problem with parroting propaganda. The person doing that doesn’t really know why. The young lady said she’s pan sexual. I don’t know why anyone cares about other adults’ sex lives unless they are harming children or other unwilling adults.
Lol! It is amazing how everyone I know, from 20 years old to 70, knows this guy now.
And I read today he turned down eight million dollars for a record deal. Apparently, he’s not for sale!
On FB, he warned to watch out for fakes trying to cash in on his name but said he’s only selling stuff at his live appearances until he gets a website set up. He said he wants to keep everything local with people he knows. He’s getting good advice. So glad for him not to get suckered.

I did a lot of “shaking the tree” for medical stuff on Thursday. If I’m lucky, it all worked and I can verify Friday morning, then have labs done Friday afternoon.
I’ve got three different doctors’ orders that need to all be ready before the stick, and they need to include adrenal function from the endocrinologist when she wanted to do a ton of diabetes labs (which duplicated my PCP’s) instead. I give this about a 30% chance of working.
On a slightly different track, the same endocrinologist had asked for a detailed CT scan of the blob on my adrenal gland, with and without IV dye. This fell into the cracks between the insurance company and the doctor, but I think I’ve managed to rescue it. I am, naturally, terrified at the prospect (might need 2 Xanax), but it is on a direct track to possibly solve my real problem so I need to make it happen. To make matters even worse, imaging dye made my mom sick as a dog, and my reactions tend to follow hers.
It’s 3AM here, so I probably won’t be doing much before 11AM. Either things will be on track for a 3PM blood draw or it will be a complete clusterfark I can contemplate over the weekend.

“No data are available regarding the use of Pfizer-BioNTech Vaccine, Bivalent during pregnancy.”
Section 8.1 then goes on to state that the risk of pregnancy loss or birth defects can be up to 20% in “clinically recognized pregnancies.” The document ALSO states that the “lab rats experiments” in which female rats were injected with BNT162b2 showed “No vaccine-related adverse effects” for female fertility, fetal development, or postnatal development were reported. THESE ARE LIES. The huge C4591001 study conducted by Pfizer-BioNTech, THE ACTUAL RESULTS DATA OF WHICH WERE GIVEN TO THE FDA, shows NUMEROUS reports of injected female lab rats with gestational problems and pups that had numerous physical problems (skeletal deformities, etc.) The reports from the C4591001 study are available at https://icandecide.org/ by searching “Pfizers documents.” The C4591001 study data was collected and submitted to the FDA by Pfizer-BioNTech under the identifier number 125742.

I know this is not a theology forum but I was reading a new book by Metzger on personalist philosophy when I read his interesting comment concerning the Trinitarian God. The final sentence was particularly compelling. For the Catholics in the group they may remember that John Paul II was particularly engaged in personalist philosophy as a component of his world view.
Each of the divine persons retains their distinctive identity. The Father is not the Son, nor the Son the Father. The Father is always the Father of the Son and the Son is always the Son of God the Father. As the eternally begotten, uncreated, and entirely unique Son, he is also the eternal Word who is the self-expression of God. The Spirit is also unique as the eternal Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ. The Spirit is the Lord and Giver of life, as the Nicene Creed declares. Whereas the Son is eternally begotten, the Spirit eternally proceeds. The Father creates, redeems, and perfects the creation through the Son and Spirit.[1]

This is a first amendment supporting site. 😃 Thanks for sharing this. I really liked Pope John Paul II but had never heard of the Personalist philosophy, so I’m glad to read this perspective. Thank you, Robert!
As I understand it, Personalist philosophy from a Christian perspective is essentially this: every human being is made in the image of God and must therefore be treated with dignity and as a person, not a thing or a commodity to be used for another person’s or government’s selfish reasons. Although I do not believe myself to be a personalist per se, I find that assuming every human being I meet deserves dignity set aside for creatures who specifically reflect the image of God affects my behavior in a good way. Dallas Willard, a Christian philosopher who until his death some years ago was a professor of philosophy at USC who’s books are also important. He was also a former Baptist preacher (just goes to show that God can use anyone 😃 ). He has written several books but the one most critical to my spiritual formation was The Divine Conspiracy. He thought that the importance of treating others with dignity was critical to a disciple’s walk with God. Along with CS Lewis, Willard has had an outsized impact on my ability to internalize the Scriptures in ways that influence my conduct and particularly my way of speaking to and about others. I did not know the personalist views of John Paul II until reading Metzger.
Thanks for the info, Robert! My mom taught me to treat others with dignity as a person and not to get into cliques when I was little. She gave me many lessons on compassion and respect for others by sending me to visit with elderly people I had not met yet and to play with a wide range of kids, some who were from families of little means. She taught me to be comfy playing on my own. She also had me visit the various Christian churches in our town. Share your toys. Thank God often for all we have. It was a great start. I’ll keep my ideology simple like my small town start. Treat everybody with respect regardless of their job or financial situation. Avoid a-holes and people who only want to take from you. What you see someone doing to someone else, you can expect they would also do to you. If my dog doesn’t like a person, I know not to trust them or spend time with them. The doggies know… Biden’s dogs are mean because Joe is mean and mistreats them. The Bidens should be nowhere near pets or kids IMHO.

I was just referencing some of what he proposed in the Narnian The Last Battle book, regarding Heaven & eternity in conversations with my husband the other day. Also I was referencing Out of the Silent Planet in relation to Creation & the theoretical possibility of beings elsewhere than Earth either knowing of Christ’s redemption or never having fallen, like in Perelandra, I believe. I guess Lewis’ stories have impacted my thinking & helped me understand God in imaginative & articulate ways.

I’m so sorry to hear that, Coothie. Maybe you need to find a different doctor. Most endocrinologists seem to be good at treating diabetes, but could care less about adrenal issues or thyroid issues. I guess they don’t pay enough.
