PSALMS 145:10-13, 17-18

10All thy works shall give thanks to thee, O LORD, and all thy saints shall bless thee! 11They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and tell of thy power, 12to make known to the sons of men thy mighty deeds, and the glorious splendor of thy kingdom. 13Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endures throughout all generations. The LORD is faithful in all his words, and gracious in all his deeds. 17The LORD is just in all his ways, and kind in all his doings. 18The LORD is near to all who call upon him, to all who call upon him in truth.

LUKE 10:1-9

1After this the Lord appointed seventy others, and sent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to come. 2And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. 3Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs in the midst of wolves. 4Carry no purse, no bag, no sandals; and salute no one on the road. 5Whatever house you enter, first say, `Peace be to this house!’ 6And if a son of peace is there, your peace shall rest upon him; but if not, it shall return to you. 7And remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they provide, for the laborer deserves his wages; do not go from house to house. 8Whenever you enter a town and they receive you, eat what is set before you; 9heal the sick in it and say to them, `The kingdom of God has come near to you.’

As always, prayers for the fight against that which seeks to enslave us are welcome.

Please include: President Donald Trump, the Q team, our soldiers in the field, special forces, tactical units, first responders and those working behind the scenes…and any and all people with family members in the hospital, COVID or not.

And…members of the QTree who no longer participate for one reason or another.

It is quite clear, as per Wolf’s message from July, that we are under spiritual attack. Building up a robust arsenal of prayer and discipline is a must in fighting the enemy and his minions.

In that spirit, the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel from Tuesday’s threads, and the Breastplate of St. Patrick, not to mention the Litany of Humility are favorites recommended by exorcists in spiritual warfare.

Thank you, De Pat, for your hastily-assembled, weirdly wonderful Wednesday thread….

cthulhu

I titled one school essay, “On The Meaning of Life and Lousy Titles….”

That violated about six rules out of the block.

My teacher was lucky I didn’t start with, “We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. I remember saying something like: ‘I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive.’ Suddenly, there was a terrible roar all around us, and the sky was full of what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, and a voice was screaming: ‘Holy Jesus. What are these goddamn animals?’ *swatting the air* Huh! Huh! Huh! Fucking pigs.”

pgroup2

Can’t wait for chapter two.

I’m not sure that even Biden would be stupid enough to trigger “the internet kill switch”.

A significant number of companies do their payrolls online. Many handle purchases over the internet, as well as invoicing. Some companies do all of their accounting on “cloud-based” systems.

The reason to cut-off internet communications might be to keep the plebes from organizing a gigantic lynch mob and marching on Washington. Missed paychecks from such government action would likely increase the possibility of lynchings rather than decrease the possibility.

pgroup2

Well, your last sentence is about what I would expect from President DimBulb.

scott467

FJB.

I hope he does it.

It’ll be the last thing he ever does.

TheseTruths

People pay bills online. Some have them automatically withdrawn, and some pay manually, but it’s all online. Orders all across the country are made on the internet. Just about everything is tied to the internet, including crucial systems like electrical, sanitation, and water. Cutting off the internet would grind everything to a halt. The economic effect would be COVID lockdowns magnified exponentially, and felt immediately.

Cuppa Covfefe

Not to mention VOIP telephony, which would basically stop if said internet was turned off…

Though I imagine what’s meant is edge routers/equipment is turned off… then again, with Bye,Done, they probably wouldn’t care…

Backbone? Backbone? We don’t have no backbone, we’re DEMONRATS… and RINOs…

Why?

Why would they even bother at this point?

Does the writer not recognize the disconnect between the criminal unelected government and the People?

They don’t GAF what any of us think, about anything.

They’re gonna do whatever the #*&^ they want to do, knowing that nobody will even try to stop them.

So they don’t need false flags, they don’t need persuasion, they don’t need anyone to believe their lies, they don’t need propaganda, they don’t need to care if anyone believes a foreign war is worth fighting, they don’t need consent or permission or even acknowledgment.

They don’t need to convince anyone of anything, because they can just TAKE what they want, and DO what they want.

The whole thing is a facade.

Thinking that they care what We the People think is like some kind of narcissism disorder.

Their concern about our existence, much less what (or even whether) we think, is less than the amount of thought you give to an ant, if one somehow happens to catch your attention while taking a walk.

Last edited 1 year ago by scott467
TheseTruths

It’s not that they care. It’s that it’s easier to implement their agenda if the people are behind them. At least that way they can claim to have a political mandate.

They’re gonna do whatever the #*&^ they want to do, knowing that nobody will even try to stop them.

Possibly none of the right people, the ones who have the power to stop them, will do so. But the more of this stuff that they pull, the more people wake up and support Trump. The indictments are having that effect. With the wars, people are also seeing how different it was with Trump in office. No one wants to get drafted and sent to Ukraine or the Middle East. Without a precipitating event to gain support, sending young Dems off to fight is not a winning strategy. I do believe that even a precipitating event would not be enough at this point to make people willing to go to war, but I think the Left will use the same strategy that has worked in the past.

Now, it could be argued that none of the above matters either because they’ll just steal the next elections no matter how little support they have. I don’t have a crystal ball, but I see increased support for Trump, MAGA, and the patriotic Right every day, and something is going to have to give at some point (even if you think we reached that point a long time ago).

“It’s not that they care. It’s that it’s easier to implement their agenda if the people are behind them. At least that way, they can claim to have a political mandate.”

__________

If the People are nothing more than a shadow on a wall they never see, they don’t need the People behind them.

When there is no actual opposition party, when there is no MSM to hold anyone accountable, they don’t require a political mandate.

Why even bother putting on the show?

TheseTruths

If the People are nothing more than a shadow on a wall they never see, they don’t need the People behind them.

Who said the people are nothing more than a shadow? If that were the case, they would not need their useful idiots in the form of BLM, Antifa, trans-people, and the rest. The people matter to them, just not in a way that’s beneficial to the people.

Why even bother putting on the show?

Yes, why are they putting on the show? Because they ARE, despite all the things you mention. There is a great deal that we don’t know.

scott467

>>> …I see increased support for Trump, MAGA, and the patriotic Right every day, and something is going to have to give at some point… <<<

As do I, see a significant uptick in support for America, America First

First noticed it when I returned from the Philippines early July. Then, continually since, increasing.Sensed More Patriotic hats – Flags, Gadsden, 2A, Trump… Bumper stickers. Many fresh LGB, FJB, Trump, 2A… 3×5 Flags in front of homes, steadily increasing. (Had thought of posting this sentiment numerous times since July. Echoing your thought today, made it past time, to speak up.)

Draft Is DOA, if them dumb bastards in District of Criminals bring the Draft back.
Only caveat on that is an overt attack on US soil, of the recent Hamas or larger event(s).

^^^ This. Going to turn this into a mini-ground report.

Noticed it here on our beach fall frolic. It is really obvious. People are over it all. The leftists and libs have shut their yaps or gone into hiding.

I have seen one mask out of thousands of people around us everywhere we go. The young lady wearing it was a cashier at a retail store. None anywhere else. Nobody getting jabs despite the ads/signage. A Walmart store had hundreds of Abbott COVID self test kits in stock that were untouched at a much reduced price of $15. People are talking about how effed up the country is everywhere we go. Some outstanding T-shirts being worn.

Where I am has not been a location for deep south rednecks. The residents in this area are northern, midwestern and international types; many with deep pockets. Yuppies with families from GA ,TN, NC, etc. arrived this year for vacation though. Many more homeschoolers.

I wore my “My Rabbi Walks on Water” T-shirt on the beach right after the Gaza hospital bombing and got smiles and thumbs ups.

The employment status of labor and workers has changed back to hispanic. Many do not speak English. The black workers are gone that were here the past few years. More older and semi-retired adults are working now than ever before. Self check outs in stores have increased everywhere. Help wanted signs are literally everywhere. More retail shops and restaurants have opened, where they get the workers is the mystery. Stealing from each other I suppose. There was a lot of dark commercial rental property before this year – not much now. Stores do not have as much inventory – they are better organized, clean with easy aisle access; not crammed full, dirty and junky

Nobody much are driving EVs. A handful of hybrids around. The driving is abysmal. They don’t care. They are driving like they have death wishes and want to hurt other people, dog eat dog style. Another reflection of the anger inside.

TheseTruths

Thanks for that report! Common sense is returning in some quarters. May it continue!

TheseTruths

Thanks for that encouraging ground report!

scott467

“Only caveat on that is an overt attack on US soil, of the recent Hamas or larger event(s).”

______________

Since TCTB would love an attack on US soil, there would be no reason to have a draft.

Besides, Milley’s high heeled bois can take care of it, give ’em something to do. For the first time in their career they could play dress up and pretend to protect and defend America.

If there is any actual widespread HamISIS attack in the U.S., and TCTB actually wanted to stop it (instead of feed and promote it), they don’t need any draft.

When the enemy is inside the gates, it’s too late for a draft anyway 😂

All they need to do is offer $10K per head bounty on any muzzie brandishing a knife or a gun.

Turn the cowardly terrorist ‘hunter’ into the hunted.

Game over, nationwide, in less than 8 hours.

  • It IS OK to shutdown the government. America does NOT care. But yea, folks in the District of Criminals are the only ones that think, shutting down USG is bad. (I can sense an audible gasp when I give them that last line.)

I got to talk with Doug Adams for a long time after he gave the keynote at a Mac Developer Conference in SF. I’m 6′ tall. He was about 6 inches taller. We talked about writer stuff and I think tech is so easy compared to fiction. He did not see tech writers as the red-headed step-children of the writing world the way I did. LOL The crowd of nerds buzzed about. I was sad for his wife and family when he died. He was such a nice person and fun to talk with. At the time, I’d read nothing he had written but told him I would read it all. I did in the years after that. Last Chance to See got a whole new meaning when he died.

Trump’s inauguration.

Cuppa Covfefe

Wow! Utterly cool. His zany sense of humor and wordplay, coupled with his command of techical things (it seems) made for a very entertaining, albeit increasingly misnumbered trilogy 🙂

There was a passage in “So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish” where Arthur and Fenchurch are falling for each other, and Adams writes about the moment growing longer and longer to the point that no-one knows where all the time is coming from… very delicately and gently written, showing incredible range…

[Funny too, as a cellist I had a similar experience, albeit with the roles/genders reversed… didn’t try to fly, though 🙂 ]…..

Ahhh. Here it is (replace xyzzy with https) xyzzy://www.reddit.com/r/books/comments/3qh6kt/i_think_the_love_story_between_arthur_dent_and/?rdt=41474

I think the love story between Arthur Dent and Fenchurch (So Long and Thanks For All The Fish, Douglas Adams) is one of the most beautifully written I’ve ever read.

The story really shows the depth of Adams’ writing talent. I’ll share with you a particularly poignant passage.

“They looked at each other for a moment. The moment became a longer moment, and suddenly it was a very long moment, so long one could hardly tell where all the time was coming from.

For Arthur, who could usually contrive to feel self-conscious if left alone for long enough with a Swiss cheese plant, the moment was one of sustained revelation. He felt on the sudden like a cramped and zoo-born animal who wakes one morning to find the door to his cage hanging quietly open and the savanna stretching gray and pink to the distant rising sun, while all around new sounds are waking.

He wondered what the new sounds were as he gazed at her openly wondering face and her eyes that smiled with a shared surprise.

He hadn’t realized that life speaks with a voice to you, a voice that brings you answers to the questions you continually ask of it, had never consciously detected it or recognized its tones until it now said something it had never said to him before, which was “yes.” “

And here is Adams’s recounting of the tale of the missing packet of biscuits, as related in “So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish”. It deftly and, I think, succintly captures the essence of being British (being half-English and having grown up with this type of stiff-upper-lip behaviour 🙂 ):

“I’ll tell you a story,” said Arthur.

“Good.”

They found a patch of grass which was relatively free of couples actually lying on top of each other and sat and watched the stunning ducks and the low sunlight rippling on the water which ran beneath the stunning ducks.

“A story,” said Fenchurch, cuddling his arm to her.

“Which will tell you something of the sort of things that happen to me. It’s absolutely true.”

“You know sometimes people tell you stories that are supposed to be something that happened to their wife’s cousin’s best friend, but actually probably got made up somewhere along the line.”

“Well, it’s like one of those stories, except that it actually happened, and I know it actually happened, because the person it actually happened to was me.”

“Like the raffle ticket.”

Arthur laughed. “Yes. I had a train to catch,” he went on. “I arrived at the station …”

“Did I ever tell you,” interrupted Fenchurch, “what happened to my parents in a station?”

“Yes,” said Arthur, “you did.”

“Just checking.”

Arthur glanced at his watch. “I suppose we could think of getting back,” he said.

“Tell me the story,” said Fenchurch firmly. “You arrived at the station.”

“I was about twenty minutes early. I’d got the time of the train wrong. I suppose it is at least equally possible,” he added after a moment’s reflection, “that British Rail had got the time of the train wrong. Hadn’t occurred to me before.”

“Get on with it.” Fenchurch laughed.

“So I bought a newspaper, to do the crossword, and went to the buffet to get a cup of coffee.”

“You do the crossword?”

“Yes.”

“Which one?”

“The Guardian usually.”

“I think it tries to be too cute. I prefer the Times. Did you solve it?”

“What?”

“The crossword in the Guardian.”

“I haven’t had a chance to look at it yet,” said Arthur, “I’m still trying to buy the coffee.”

“All right then. Buy the coffee.”

“I’m buying it. I am also,” said Arthur, “buying some biscuits.”

“What sort?”

“Rich Tea.”

“Good choice.”

“I like them. Laden with all these new possessions, I go and sit at a table. And don’t ask me what the table was like because this was some time ago and I can’t remember. It was probably round.”

“All right.”

“So let me give you the layout. Me sitting at the table. On my left, the newspaper. On my right, the cup of coffee. In the middle of the table, the packet of biscuits.”

“I see it perfectly.”

“What you don’t see,” said Arthur, “because I haven’t mentioned him yet, is the guy sitting at the table already. He is sitting there opposite me.”

“What’s he like?”

“Perfectly ordinary. Briefcase. Business suit. He didn’t look,” said Arthur, “as if he was about to do anything weird.”

“Ah. I know the type. What did he do?” “He did this. He leaned across the table, picked up the packet of biscuits, tore it open, took one out, and …”

“What?”

“Ate it.”

“What?”

“He ate it.”

Fenchurch looked at him in astonishment. “What on Earth did you do?”

“Well, in the circumstances I did what any red-blooded Englishman would do. I was compelled,” said Arthur, “to ignore it.”

“What? Why?”

“Well, it’s not the sort of thing you’re trained for is it? I searched my soul, and discovered that there was nothing anywhere in my upbringing, experience or even primal instincts to tell me how to react to someone who has quite simply, calmly, sitting right there in front of me, stolen one of my biscuits.”

“Well, you could …” Fenchurch thought about it. “I must say I’m not sure what I would have done either. So what happened?”

“I stared furiously at the crossword,” said Arthur. “Couldn’t do a single clue, took a sip of coffee, it was too hot to drink, so there was nothing for it. I braced myself. I took a biscuit, trying very hard not to notice,” he added, “that the packet was already mysteriously open …”

“But you’re fighting back, taking a tough line.”

“After my fashion, yes. I ate the biscuit. I ate it very deliberately and visibly, so that he would have no doubt as to what it was I was doing. When I eat a biscuit,” Arthur said, “it stays eaten.”

“So what did he do?”

“Took another one. Honestly,” insisted Arthur, “this is exactly what happened. He took another biscuit, he ate it. Clear as daylight. Certain as we are sitting on the ground.”

Fenchurch stirred uncomfortably.

“And the problem was,” said Arthur, “that having not said anything the first time, it was somehow even more difficult to broach the subject the second time around. What do you say? `Excuse me … I couldn’t help noticing, er …’ Doesn’t work. No, I ignored it with, if anything, even more vigour than previously.”

“My man …”

“Stared at the crossword, again, still couldn’t budge a bit of it, so showing some of the spirit that Henry V did on St Crispin’s Day …”

“What?”

“I went into the breach again. I took,” said Arthur, “another biscuit. And for an instant our eyes met.”

“Like this?”

“Yes, well, no, not quite like that. But they met. Just for an instant. And we both looked away. But I am here to tell you,” said Arthur, “that there was a little electricity in the air. There was a little tension building up over the table. At about this time.”

“I can imagine.”

“We went through the whole packet like this. Him, me, him, me …”

“The whole packet?”

“Well it was only eight biscuits but it seemed like a lifetime of biscuits we were getting through at this point. Gladiators could hardly have had a tougher time.”

“Gladiators,” said Fenchurch, “would have had to do it in the sun. More physically gruelling.”

“There is that. So. When the empty packet was lying dead between us the man at last got up, having done his worst, and left. I heaved a sigh of relief, of course. As it happened, my train was announced a moment or two later, so I finished my coffee, stood up, picked up the newspaper, and underneath the newspaper …”

“Yes?”

“Were my biscuits.”

“What?” said Fenchurch. “What?”

“True.”

“No!” She gasped and tossed herself back on the grass laughing.

Thank you, Cuppa. I just remember he was fascinating and we stood there chatting until I noticed my BF was walking around us in big circles looking a little peeved. Normally, the BF did not care what I did when we went out in public and he would do whatever and leave me to my own devices. When we ate at restaurants, the BF would bring a book to read unless some of our friends went with us. LOL

The movie “Secondhand Lions” involves (among other things) a young boy and a lion. When they were filming it, they had all sorts of safety people on set, handlers and wranglers, insurance adjusters and ASPCA observers. Even with all that caution, the kid sustained a minor animal injury on set…..

Not from the lion……from a pig.

Feral pigs are absolutely serious. I can well believe they’d evict unwelcome party animals very quickly.

First, I LOVE that film.

Second, a feral hog can kill you. Then it and its buddies will eat you. They are no joke.

Mel Gibson is the only one speaking out on behalf of the Armenians. Makes you wonder why everyone else remains silent.

https://www.cfr.org/article/ethnic-cleansing-happening-nagorno-karabakh-how-can-world-respond

The ethnic Armenian population of the Nagorno-Karabakh enclave in Azerbaijan, a largely Christian community in a predominantly Muslim nation, is experiencing ethnic cleansing at warp speed. Over the last week, almost all of the estimated 120,000 ethnic Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh have fled west to Armenia. This exodus follows clashes with the Azerbaijan army that have reportedly killed upwards of four hundred people, including some civilians. The renewed conflict demonstrates the failure of years of diplomatic efforts to prevent the persecution of ethnic Armenians, and remaining options to address the situation with the tools of international law are limited.

It’s so hard to believe islamic people are acting this way.

Let the blood of every victim be on the heads of those who defend and excuse the atrocity called islam.

pgroup2

It’s described in Genesis 4:10-12 [Complete Jewish Bible] — “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying out to me from the ground! Now you are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood at your hands. When you farm the ground it will no longer yield its strength to you. You will be a fugitive, wandering the earth.”

Do King Abdullah and President al Sisi know and believe this Bible passage even though they’re muslims? IOW are the Gazans/Palestinians cursed by God for spilling innocent blood and that’s why they will not accept refugees from Gaza?

I doubt it. They claim Jesus Christ as a prophet, but don’t seem to have clue about what he was about.

rayzorback

Uh… Genesis is WAY before Jesus’ time. And yes, they share Abrahams lineage.

Cuppa Covfefe

Also relevant, Genesis 16:1-12: (the latter verse, in particular):

16 Now Sarai Abram’s wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.
And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the Lord hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.
And Sarai Abram’s wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.
And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.
And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong be upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the Lord judge between me and thee.
But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thine hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face.
And the angel of the Lord found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.
And he said, Hagar, Sarai’s maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai.
And the angel of the Lord said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.
10 And the angel of the Lord said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.
11 And the angel of the Lord said unto her, Behold, thou art with child and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the Lord hath heard thy affliction.
12 And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.

“Rand Paul: Biden May Use “Internet Kill Switch” for Emergency Powers”

______________

To kill himself.

It’s hard to imagine any other single action a politician could take, that would cause immediate disbelief (by everyone) followed three seconds later by overwhelming hate (by everyone).

There shouldn’t even BE a ‘kill switch’, but as with evil everywhere, it can’t resist the temptation of control.

Go ahead you *&^%wad.

If so, they’re shredding a LOT of them. Unless your donation was yuge, shredding it alone would make no difference.

If they’re shredding a lot of checks, I imagine they will be caught eventually.

$100, so not a huge or significant amount. Just another donation from one of the commoners.

Yea, if shredding or tossing is happening, I’d guess a small percentage.

If it is happening, the dope knows or should know they’ll get caught. AND, does NOT care.

Another month or so, I’ll send a letter with details, inquiring… Will see what reply comes back, if any. Then a post here, as FYI stuff.

Several embassies full of worthless, traitorous, State Department SES?

If they’re overrun by the locals, it won’t matter if their employment can’t be terminated in a more conventional way.

TheseTruths

In Benghazi, we lost Ambassador Stevens. I don’t think he was worthless or traitorous.

cthulhu

He got sacrificed by HRC because he wasn’t sufficiently corrupt — along with Vile Rat. At this point, so many years later, I’m not sure you could find such men at the State Department.

TheseTruths

At this point, so many years later, I’m not sure you could find such men at the State Department.

Possibly, but I tend to err on the side of “I don’t know what I don’t know” before I decide whom it’s okay to have terrorized and killed.😎 I imagine there are some good people working in our embassies.

It makes me angry to see anything American overtaken like that, with our flags 🇺🇸 burned and a foreign flag hoisted.

cthulhu

I think a solid indicator would be SES status. The Deep State might as well have issued them embroidered satin jackets with “First Up Against the Wall When the Revolution Comes” on the back.

cthulhu

In case anyone wonders, Article II of the Constitution begins with: “The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America.”

To me, that means that any executive Power unaccountable to the President is unconstitutional on its face….and anyone purporting to command such Power is in open rebellion against the Constitution.

The SES was instituted during the Carter years as a way of preserving institutional inertia between administrations [ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Senior_Executive_Service_(United_States) ] — in other words, as a way of maintaining the continuity of the bureaucracy. It was vastly expanded — IIRC, from about 2,000 to about 12,000 persons — during the Obama years as a way of sabotaging future governments.

In practice, during the Trump administration, the SES allowed mutinous bureaucrats to override administrative priorities and thwart government actions.

VSGPOTUSDJT came up with a scheme to reallocate SES onto a different Federal employment schedule and gently regain control over these rogue bureaucrats. Of course, this was promptly reversed by the Biden administration.

My own inclination would be to declare the SES a case of open insurrection and send the Marines to kill or capture them.

pgroup2

How about something in the middle? Like fire the lot of them and take your view up to SCOTUS.

para59r

Was under the impression he was involved in the gun running and was only puffed up because the narrative of loosing a good Ambassador out weighed that of loosing a corrupt one. But I could be wrong.

Aubergine

You’ve got it.

I don’t want to see anyone killed by islamist lunatics, ever, but there was a lot more to what was going on in Benghazi than an innocent ambassador just being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

rayzorback

Ask Trey Gowdy… Or Darrel Issa.
They said that they were going to get to the bottom of it.

pgroup2

A good queer ambassador. Who was supposedly greatly respected by the locals.

I’ve always wondered why Zerobama would send a govt queer to a muzzie country.

TheseTruths

You could be right, but I don’t know, and that’s the point. I don’t know if people think he deserved to die the way he did, but it was horrific. I do know that he requested more security in the weeks before the attack and Hillary did nothing. If he had been one of her own, she could have lifted a finger to preserve a valuable asset. The other side of that argument is that he knew too much, which could have been the case whether he was involved or not.

Barb Meier

There was also Sean Smith, Glen Doherty, and Tyrone Woods. Sean was killed at the same time as Chris Stevens. Glen and Ty were former Navy SEALs and killed in the second attack.

Aubergine

“Nobody in the regime seems to give a sh*t.”

Well, they don’t “seem” to because they DON’T.

Who in their right mind would work in an American embassy in a Muslim country after Benghazi? That fact if any should tell us we are being represented overseas by INSANE people.

TheseTruths

Who in their right mind would work in an American embassy in a Muslim country after Benghazi?

Perhaps a naive young person in search of adventure in a foreign country who also wants to serve their country. Someone who is not SES, who is not involved in shady dealings, and who thinks they are doing some good.

Probably not a wise choice, but no one here has ever made a less-than-optimal choice (/sarc). The consensus here seems to be that anyone working in a U.S. embassy deserves what they get. I’m not trying to talk anyone out of that, but I: 1) don’t like to see American holdings attacked, Americans killed, and flags burned, and 2) do not believe that every person in those embassies is evil and deserves rape, torture, burning, and killing by the enemies of our country.

Who works at embassies:
https://www.indeed.com/career-advice/finding-a-job/jobs-at-us-embassies

Soldiers and other active-duty military members may work as security guards at U.S. embassies.

Additionally, the U.S. embassies hire law enforcement officers to protect facilities and staff and provide insight into security issues within the host country.

Administrative assistant, translator, financial analyst, consultant, engineer, economist, IT specialist, trade compliance officer, diplomatic agent, physician.

Aubergine

No, I am NOT saying that!

I am saying that we can’t possibly be getting the “best and brightest” going overseas to work in an embassy or anywhere. Not with the way our government responds when they are under threat.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Newsweek obtained a court document Tuesday that said Chutkan, who was appointed by former President Barack Obama, was reassigned the case October 6, “taking over for [President Joe] Biden appointee Judge Ana Reyes, her colleague in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.”

Yours Truly: While Mr. Berenson is correct that people don’t want to have a modRNA COVID-19 “vaccines” put into their body now, the article does quote ALBERT BOURLA stating that “only” 1 in 6 people in the U.S. WILL get the newest “2023-2024 Formula” COVID-19 “booster vaccine” — in other words, about 55 million people in the United States.

Please, in the rapidly-swirling hot mess that the world is in right now, don’t forget this:

Translation: This means that the about 55 million people in the United States who will potentially get the “2023-2024 Formula” COVID-19 “booster vaccine” in their bodies WILL BE vulnerable to:
MYOCARDITIS and other heart conditions either suddenly appearing; or, existing heart conditions being aggravated;
CANCERS, including turbo-cancers, either suddenly appearing; or, existing cancers in treatment being aggravated, and cancers in remission coming back;
STROKE or other serious brain issues suddenly present;
FETAL ABNORMALITIES, FETAL DEATHS, MISCARRIAGES for pregnant women who get this newest COVID-19 “booster vaccine”;
SUDDEN ONSET OF MENTAL-HEALTH ISSUES; or, aggravation of existing mental-health issues;
DESTRUCTION OF THE “VACCINE” RECIPIENT’S NATURAL IMMUNE SYSTEM;
DESTRUCTION OF THE “VACCINE” RECIPIENT’S ABILITY TO FIGHT OFF CANCER;
To name only a few.

And it is now known that the modRNA COVID-19 “vaccines” DO NOT PREVENT A COVID-19 INFECTION, DO NOT PREVENT HOSPITALIZATION FROM AN INFECTION, and DO NOT PREVENT DEATH FRON AN INFECTION.

HOWEVER, your friendly local PCP, your dentist, your medical specialist practitioner (dermatologist, etc.), your physical therapist, your pharmacist, the teachers in your children’s schools — MOST LIKELY WILL GET the newest COVID-19 “booster vaccine”, because they are afraid of losing their jobs, teaching positions, professional memberships, access to grant monies, and/or, if they’re medical professionals, being “disciplined”, including losing their licenses to practice medicine, IF THEY ALL DON’T DO WHAT THEY’RE TOLD. BECAUSE, IMO, THEY ARE NOW GASLIGHTED SLAVES.

Soros-backed Louisiana district attorney carjacked at gunpoint with his mother: reports

The George Soros-backed Orleans Parish, Louisiana, district attorney and his mother were carjacked Monday night in New Orleans by two suspects who allegedly pointed high-powered automatic rifles at them, according to reports.

The same suspects were accused of carjacking a 22-year-old woman nearly 30 minutes after the DA was carjacked, less than a half-mile away, police said.

According to an analysis from the Metropolitan Crime Commission in 2022, Williams’ tactics have resulted in a “drastic decline in accountability for violent felony offenders.”

He has brought up his son Beau’s death over and over when meeting people who have lost loved ones. Now it’s his wife and daughter. He seems to think it’s a way to relate to the bereaved ones. Every time it happens, he gets criticized on the internet. I suspect that none of his advisers can get through to him or control everything he says. He’s a loose screw.

Yeah, well when you try to melt steel beams surrounded by concrete, you get a different result than when you try to soften steel beams surrounded by insulation.

The insulation was rated to work for about an hour, and it did.

Honestly, I am sick and tired of this inane, ignorant “point”.

pgroup2

The steel was not insulated.

The environmental wackoes sued to prevent asbestos use.

Last edited 1 year ago by pgroup2
SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

From what I understand some sort of spray foam was on the steel, as plan B when the asbestos was blocked.

But even if so, it would have been vastly better to have encased the steel in concrete. It certainly wasn’t.

So comparisons to concrete buildings and snarky bullshit like “gee this building didn’t fall and yet the towers did” are just goddamned irritatingly ignorant.

Last edited 1 year ago by SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA
pgroup2

I stand corrected.

The Plan B stuff was not as good as asbestos IIRC. And the towers falling is a sick kind of proof.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

I doubt that even asbestos would have been good enough, honestly.

Aubergine

Check this out:

“The I-95 bridge was supported with girders made of steel, which has a melting point above 2,500 degrees Fahrenheit.

But fire can damage steel at temperatures well below that point, said Amir Farnam, an associate professor of civil, architectural and environmental engineering at Drexel University.

The metal loses about 20% of its strength at 750 degrees, and about half of its strength at 1,000 degrees, he said. Those temperatures are easily achieved with a tanker fire like the one that occurred Sunday morning, he said.”

https://www.inquirer.com/transportation/i95-collapse-philadelphia-map-fire-bridge-20230611.html

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Bingo.

When steel is used inside concrete (rebar, or even just cast around a beam) it still has the same properties…but the concrete makes a good insulator.

The towers had almost bare steel in them. A lot of high rises now do not.

Aubergine

Neither was I. But I am very good at just ignoring stuff like that. Actual anti-Semetic propaganda? Not so much.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

I have to chuckle… we all know that “anti-Semitism” is a term for “anti-Jew-ism” but the funny thing is that both Arabs and Hebrews are Semitic peoples. So we have a situation where some of the most “anti-Semitic” people on earth are….Semites themselves. Just one of those silly things history and language doe sometimes.

More seriously, one rule of thumb I have when dealing with people on the Right. If they complain about bankers controlling the world, they’re following one of a certain category of “conspiracy theory” that I am not unsympathetic to. (I advocate hard money; it would fix the problem; I don’t sweat too much whether it’s a big conspiracy or people just thinking shortsightedly combined with individual crooks not conspiring with each other.)

But if they can’t say “banker” without putting the word “Jewish” in front of it, then I have an issue with them. The “banker” (doing crooked things) is the problem, not the “Jewish”

Aubergine

I agree. Wholeheartedly.

“Sheriff Deputy Chris Caltagirone is making a stand for J6 political prisoners and bravely says the militarized FBI pre-dawn raids wouldn’t fly in Ravalli County, located in Western Montana – ‘try that in a small town.’

Chris joined Jake Lang LIVE from the DC Jail Gulag for an episode of The Political Prisoner Podcast sponsored by The Gateway Pundit.

Deputy Caltagirone gives his unadulterated, professional examination of the violent police brutality that occurred at the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

By comparing his vast knowledge of police training and crowd response techniques to the hundreds of hours of Capitol video research he’s done, he’s come to the conclusion that fault for the incitement and escalation of violence lays at the feet of the Capitol and Metropolitan Police forces. The inexcusable incursions that were committed that day by these officers lead to the deaths of four unarmed American patriots.”

Regarding Trump saying a witness lied today, I’m going to post this entire report because it’s kind of convoluted, the way it’s presented.

https://abcnews.go.com/US/live-updates/trump-fraud-trial/jack-weisselberg-begins-his-testimony-104090812?id=103642561

‘You lied yesterday,’ Trump attorney accuses witness

With Donald Trump sitting just feet away, lawyers for Trump and New York Attorney General Letitia James engaged in a heated argument about whether an expert real estate appraiser committed perjury during his testimony yesterday.

“You lied yesterday, didn’t you?” defense lawyer Lazaro Fields asked Newmark real estate executive Doug Larson — a line of questioning that prompted Larson to be excused from the courtroom while the attorneys sparred.

“This witness has rights and a lawyer in the room,” Trump lawyer Chris Kise said, while lawyers for the state shouted “absurd” and “witness intimidation” from their chairs.

The squabble centered on Larson’s testimony about whether he assisted the Trump Organization in determining capitalization rates to value their properties.

“Did you work with Mr. McConney in 2013 to determine the cap rate that he used to value his property?” state attorney Mark Ladov asked Larson yesterday, referring to Trump Organization controller Jeffrey McConney.

“No, I did not,” Larson testified yesterday.

Fields attempted to contradict Larson’s answer this morning by showing emails between McConney and Larson that suggested the two occasionally spoke about market conditions.

“Jeff McConney would call me, periodically, not frequently, to talk about sales and market conditions,” Larson conceded.

But Larson denied having conversations with McConney about the value of Trump’s 40 Wall Street property in 2013.

After a brief interruption, Fields presented a 2014 email where McConney asked Larson, “I hate to be a pest, but the accountants are coming in tomorrow to go over my valuations. Any chance you can answer my question below?”

Asked about that email, Larson acknowledged that McConney was using his information to support Trump Organization valuations in 2013.

It was at this point that Fields directly asked if Larson had lied yesterday, prompting the witness to be excused briefly.

“He perjured himself yesterday, in my opinion,” Kise told the court.

“This is a performance … not a legal issue,” Wallace countered.

“He was accused of perjury on the stand,” Engoron noted before bringing Larson back into the courtroom.

While Larson still denied that he “worked with” McConney on the valuations, he ultimately conceded that he knew the information he provided was used to value Trump properties at the time — seemingly contradicting his testimony yesterday.

“You knew in 2013 that Mr. McConney was using the information you sent him, mainly the capitalization rates, to value the Trump properties?” Fields said.

“I did,” Larson said.

Judge asks for quiet after Trump responds to testimony

Trump, who has been sitting at the counsel table with his attorneys Chris Kise and Alina Habba, had a noticeable response when real estate appraiser Doug Larson denied having conversations with Trump Organization controller Jeffrey McConney about the value of Trump’s 40 Wall Street property in 2013.

The former president made an inaudible comment, tapped on the table, and conferred with his lawyers.

That prompted state attorney Kevin Wallace to ask Judge Engoron to tell Trump to refrain from making comments.

“Can the defendant please stop commenting during the witness’ testimony?” Wallace said. “I believe exhortations are audible on this side of the courtroom as well.”

Engoron declined to specifically tell Trump to refrain from commenting, instead saying, “I will ask everyone to be quiet when the witness is testifying.”

Oct 18, 2:08 PM EDT

‘The government just got caught in a big, fat lie,’ says Trump

Defense attorney Clifford Robert continued to hammer at real estate appraiser Doug Larson during cross-examination.

Larson — who met with attorneys from the New York attorney general’s office on Monday in advance of his testimony — was asked if he was shown either of the two emails that this morning prompted him to recall having phone calls with Trump Organization controller Jeffrey McConney, after testifying yesterday that he did not.

“During your prep session Monday, the attorney general didn’t show you these two documents?” Robert said while waving printed copies of the two emails in the air, to which Larson replied no.

State attorney Mark Ladov, on redirect examination, read a transcript from an interview with Larson from three years ago, in which Larson was shown the emails and offered a response that was consistent with yesterday’s testimony.

“This is beyond absurd,” Trump attorney Chris Kise said, objecting to Ladov’s approach.

Exiting the courtroom during a break, Trump seized on the Larson’s testimony to support his claims that the case should be dismissed.

“The government just got caught in a big, fat lie,” Trump said.
