Women who are obese have a much harder time getting pregnant.
In other words, it all boils down to offspring.
That’s when men are shopping. Victoria’s Secret has to appeal to women, and it doesn’t at this time. Woke is part of it, but so is the product they sell.
The truth about Vickie’s Secret is the lingerie they are selling isn’t distinct right now. Frankly, you can get stuff that looks a lot like it at Old Navy for less. And like a number of other retailers, the color variety is not vast. It’s also not as high quality as it used to be, I understand. I wear a specific brand they don’t carry so I have to rely on other women’s reviews.
I know there is a lot of focus on obesity as being the unappealing aspect, and for models it is, but that isn’t the base cause of VS’s demise. It’s ignoring the research into the core customer and not delivering what she wants.
I never wore a VS bra, because they were the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever put on.
And I don’t think VS was ever appealing to women. It was appealing to the men the women were trying to please.
It was supposed to be a joke in the beginning. The guy that developed the concept Les Wexner bought and turned into the franchise we all know started out with much higher class stuff, actually.
I read a book written by the researcher who developed the brand concept, and they specifically marketed to women. If women want to make themselves appealing to men, then they do. Dress for how you want to be treated. I believe that to my core.

This brings up a lot of points to consider and be ready for. It’s a woman cursing like a sailor when a cop covers the surveillance camera on her front door to block the view of the cops. (Seriously, every sentence contains f___, c___, etc.) It digresses from there. 3:17 long. An excellent reason to watch “Don’t Talk to the Police” and be ready for something like this.
• Is it really a safety protocol for cops to cover the camera when they knock on the door?
• The cop kept asking if she was home. To her credit, the homeowner never answered the question. Is it really not possible to know if the homeowner is home or not? In other words, if they are talking remotely, wouldn’t that be obvious?
• “Are you home to come out and talk with me?” felt like a trap.
• The cop said they had a warrant, but they never produced one.
• It looks like a lie when the cop said she was losing connection. You can hear the homeowner just fine.
• The homeowner must have told them 10-20 times to get off her property.
• At one point the homeowner says they pointed ARs at her. I didn’t see that.
• One of the commenters speculates they might have wanted the woman for a meth charge.
• Another commenter said, “If homeowner had opened the door and then slammed the door in their face, she would have become a ‘barricaded suspect.'” Chilling, if true.
This is a good reason to have multiple cameras covering your front door from multiple angles. It is also a good reason to have an obvious front door that opens into a brick wall, and a disguised door that actually opens into your home.
I would probably post something at the property line advising that the property is a cybersecurity research facility and that all electronic devices brought onto the property will be examined.

If you’re constructing a building for a certain level of security, there will be a number of options available for windows. This may involve an ironwork cover, a non-glass material, or special-purpose rooms inside the window…..or other things.
There’s no particular reason that a room’s windows must connect to the outside….you could have them show anything….

I’m sure they would like it to be, but obviously it violates the whole (legitimate) safety purpose of the homeowner installing the camera in the first place.
If the police come to your door for something, which could be for good or ill, they certainly ought to be obligated to identify themselves and not hide themselves, unless they are serving a warrant on someone with a prior history of violence toward police or similar, and I’m sure they have a term for that kind of warrant.

Both theories, IMO, make RFKJ someone who is willing to be used to go through the motions of campaigning and risking his life for whatever the actual cause is (rather than his actually wanting to be POTUS and thinking he could win).

It could be a psychological issue, a psychological self-protection mechanism where people who feel helpless to do anything about their circumstances interpret everything as white hats working magic behind the scenes.
Or it could be black hats promoting such ideas to encourage exactly that type of psychological self-defense mechanism, to placate and mollify the target population into inaction.
Probably a good dose of both.
The problem with the ‘white hat’ theory is that there is never, ever any incontrovertible evidence for it.
The good guys (if they exist), no matter how good they might be, are not perfect, and therefore would not be able to conceal all possible proof of their activities, certainly not for years (and years).
Claimed ‘proofs’ for the ‘white hat’ narrative are always the result of connecting lots of dots which are part of a much larger and complex preconceived narrative, which again could be nothing more than a manifestation of the aforementioned psychological self-defense mechanism.
So knowing that is a possibility, the question that needs to be answered is, how can one determine, with any meaningful degree of objectivity, whether the ‘white hat’ narrative is actually true, vs. something which is subjectively (and strongly) desired, but untrue?
It would require some degree of intellectual honesty with oneself.
The obvious problem, of course, is that if the belief or faith in the ‘white hat’ narrative is in fact a psychological self-defense mechanism, then how could one be intellectually honest enough with oneself to examine that possibility objectively?
It’s not impossible to think one’s way out of that box, but how many people would actually do it, or even think to do it?
No doubt the psy-ops people (on both sides, if in fact there actually are two sides) understand all of this very well and play it to their maximum advantage. It’s a perfect way to exploit fear, nurture helplessness and inaction, and promote division.
If I was a bad guy, I would be doing it all the time, it would become second nature on a personal level, and I would automate as much of the process as possible, certainly with regard to social media, using bots and AI to constantly re-tweet / re-post memes and comments that promote these concepts.
There’s never any incontrovertibel evidence against it. That’s because of the nature of the theory. Any such evidence is dismissed as falsehoods planted by the white guys.
It’s what scientists call “non-falsifiable” (and they consider such theories worthless). It’s what Objectivists call “arbitrary” (and they consider such things worthless too).
I agree with them. If a theory cannot be disproved even in prinicple, that doesn’t make it right, that makes it so nebulous as to be worthless.
I agree with those labels. I believe the thinking is that everyone just has to wait and see it all come to pass. Those who aren’t willing to wait another year, 5 years, etc., aren’t true believers, didn’t have what it takes, and weren’t savvy enough to “see,” even if the theory never comes true. Those with the “inside knowledge” and the sources they won’t reveal never admit when they are mistaken, partly because the thing *could* still happen, in their view, even when it is clearly impossible.

I think I know what Q was, and what Q wasn’t, and I think General Flynn is somewhat incorrect.
Q was a psyop. It was meant to engage and activate an entire generation of disinterested people who didn’t know or care about politics, the underbelly of the world of trafficking human beings, the sick state of society, etc.
Q stated several things unequivocally. 1) There was disinfo and misdirection in the posts. 2) DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. 3) Anyone making money or achieving fame off of Q was NEVER to be believed or trusted.
Have the people who believe “The nonsense about trump is still the president and the military is coming to the rescue” done all of the three things outlined above? NO.
I think there is a contingent of people so fearful, so unwilling to do the work, and so dependent on being spoonfed information that they are the “collateral damage” Q spoke of so often. I have not given up on the military being instrumental in *something* if and when it is called for by the appropriate leader, but that’s not the same as what people are saying will happen.
But IMO this can’t be laid at the feet of Q, and Q is not to blame. People have taken things Q said and gone way overboard, making assumptions that they assert to be true.

But at any point, DJT could have (and necessarily would needed to have) denounced and renounced Q, if he was not in control of Q or Q was not part of the U.S. military or some private ‘team’ working for DJT.
Because no legitimate government could ever afford to have an independent group represent itself as part of the government, no matter how favorable it might appear to be.
You couldn’t even allow that as a business, because you can’t have people representing themselves as part of your company doing things which will reflect on you or your brand.

Very simple. Flynn is not one of the handful of people who are on the inside and part of the Q operation. I believe Q has said there are less than 10 people, so not every military officer can be one of them.
One small but important point: there is NOTHING the military can do without orders. Seven Days in May is an excellent primer on civilian control of the military.
