Ingredients
- 5 family-sized black tea bags
- 1/2 c. fresh mint leaves, plus more for serving
- 4 c. granulated sugar
- 2 c. strained lemon juice from 12 whole lemons, chilled
- 3 c. bourbon
- Ice
- Lemon slices, for serving
Directions
- In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, bring 2 quarts of water to a boil. Dunk the tea bags and the mint into the water and allow them to steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and whisk in the sugar until dissolved.
- Strain the sweet tea base into a large pitcher or vat, discard the mint leaves. Stir in 4 quarts of water, the lemon juice, and bourbon.
- Serve chilled over ice with lemon slices and mint sprigs.

I honestly believe one entity is controlling both sides in this one for sheer propaganda purposes. They, whoever they are, are trying to spark WWIII. Without raw media – not photoshopped or written – we have no way of knowing.

First, I wonder who thinks they have the authority to make a “translation” (their word) of Trump’s words into their own interpretation.
Second, it is expressed in the passive voice: saving the world “was put on pause.” Then who placed it on pause?
I want to know what the author of this tweet, and those who agree with it, think.
Did Trump and his team “put things on pause”? Did they cause the US to almost be destroyed, to have war and the possibility of deploying our troops, to have our country invaded by millions of people including terrorists, and to have the economy collapse?
“To avert a civil war” – I don’t remember being overly concerned about a civil war. It certainly was not imminent. So we averted a potential civil war that might have occurred far into the future in exchange for a current hot war around the world?
If Trump and his team are not the ones who “put things on pause,” then is the theory that there is a force behind all of this that has that much power, to allow or orchestrate a stolen election, to have Trump play a role, and to decide what should happen with our elections while placing the country in dire straits? All of that is extra-Constitutional. I would like to know who people think could have done / is doing that. The author of the tweet, and those who have the same view, seem to think this is all great.
If no one had the power to control an election, then things weren’t orchestrated and they happened organically.
A video of Trump from yesterday, I think, shows him gravely stating that he doesn’t think we can survive another year like this. Do people think he “put things on pause” in order to make things this bad? If not, then he didn’t realize how bad it could get? I find that unlikely in the extreme.
When Trump speaks of a pause, is there any other possible meaning besides someone having caused the pause? Could it be that things actually are as they seem, that the election was stolen from Trump and we are watching the demise of everything good in this country as a result? That would still be a pause in his plans to MAGA. And it would still have the effect that we can all see: people are waking up and Trump is gaining support.
When things are expressed that have no basis in reality, and I am expected to believe that shadowy players are controlling things and it’s for our own good, then that feels like gaslighting. This is not the same as having a Q team working behind the scenes with Trump to save the country. IMO, this takes it to another level that is out of the realm of reality and out of the realm of the rule of law, so I am always stunned when people don’t question it.

The people had to be shown. Not nearly enough were awake. They still aren’t. But they are waking up. VERY slowly.
I have read somewhere that once a ethnic group reaches 5% of the target population they can begin to change the political and social culture. I assume that the aware population exceeds 5% by a substantial margin. The problem that the awakened population faces in this instance is that characteristically they generally are law-abiding citizens who want to be left alone. They respond to personal threats as opposed to cultural trends and ideologies. That is the primary reason they need a national leader around which to coalesce. Thus the obvious strategy of the globalists is to divide these people into competing groups.
MAGA is the Tea Party on STEROIDS because we finally had a LEADER. It does not mean that a bunch of very wealthy sadistic psychopaths have not been fighting Us and Trump tooth and nail.

What still strikes me is that people who state that they know what certain things mean, never say who they think is orchestrating them. If they think Q is behind allowing or causing 2020 to be stolen, with all the disaster that has ensued, I wish they would say so. If they think Trump did that or had a part in it, I wish they would say so. If they think there is an entity or entities above the Q or Trump level who are running the show, I’d like to see that too.
I am willing to let Q be Q and to state things that are not concrete because I believe Q is MAGA and working on our behalf. But when people take it to another level, interpreting current statements and events as necessarily being “part of the plan,” then I want it to be couched in concrete terms. In other words, Q is the only entity that I will “allow” to be cryptic. Those who are asking me to accept their interpretations need to show me their thought process and exactly what they think is going on.
But they never do. That is the problem I’m having. Things get posted, and people lap them up, apparently without a thought to what it would really mean if what they were saying were true, or how such things would work. They don’t appear to have followed the process through in their thoughts to its logical conclusion. That is what I object to. Don’t ask me to accept something that you can’t, and won’t, explain, yourself.
I trust Q to be working in the country’s best interests. I don’t trust people on the internet who claim to be able to navigate events and interpret them when they won’t explain them fully. It seems to turn into magical thinking.
I searched the Q drops for that phrase and didn’t find it. Q did say, “It had to be this way.”

The two phrases are similar, but they are not the same. “It had to be this way” does not necessarily mean that someone orchestrated it, while “it had to be done this way” does. And people are taking “it had to be done this way” to support their conclusions.
Good catch. I think that the Q folks are like every other faction – they have a plan. But so does everybody else.
You are NEVER going to convince the “people had to be shown” people. Ever. They are too invested.
I fear, like Trump states, that we may not survive another year like this.

If the above is true, then Trump & Co. neither merit nor deserve another four years. Because four years will not be enough to repair all this damage. It’s going to be uphill all the way, against all the globalist forces that have been gathering strength over these last three years and counting. Our recovery is going to take a decade or more.
I really believe that reality is just too damned scary for some people. I know a few of them. They are not stupid, they are generally quite bright. But they don’t want to face that times really are just that bad, that it’s not some sort of mysterious “plan,” and that they are actually NOT safe.
It’s no accident that the people I know who believe this fall into two categories. Category 1 is women over 45. For one thing, women are hard-wired to seek protection and safety. For another, women of earlier days were trained to expect to be protected.
Category 2 is young males who grew up in the video game culture. NOTHING is real, everything is a game. As an example, my older son once told me he could be the CEO of a huge company, as he had all the necessary skills and training for it. I asked how that could be, and he told me it was because he had very successfully played the video game “Eve.” He was dead serious!
We are in deep shit. Some people can’t face it. I don’t blame or condemn them.
Trump is not God, and neither is the Q team.

As far as I can tell, ‘The Plan’ had more than one goal.
First was on the international stage, the Cabal had to be defeated. We are seeing that play out with Putin in Ukraine and now Prince MBS in the Middle East. Q even said Saudi Arabia was the first. As a kingdom it was the easiest to clean up. North Korea has had some strings cut and Xi in China seems to be doing a major clean-up of corrupt Commie Members. What is interesting is Q said “Israel will be last.”
Turkey has also made an interesting move. While Russia was fighting Ukraine, Turkey BLOCKED the entry of Sweden into NATO. NOW Turkey is SPONSORING Sweden into NATO…. On the other hand Turkey, a NATO member is Saber rattling at Isreal and NATO MUST DEFEND TURKEY if Israel attacks. 😋
Clif High calls these leaders the ‘Self Organizing Collective’ and Badlands calls them the ‘Sovereign Alliance’ No matter how you look at it the BRIC+ nations are FOR NATIONALISM and against a New World Order run by the corrupt Banksters.

I am afraid this ^^^ is reality. Most American have just gone about their lives without giving any thought to what we now know for certain was worldwide evil dating back a very long time. They believe what they see and hear because it is beyond their inclinations and comprehension to accept their leaders, government, media, etc. could be lying and manipulative. Trusting the untrustable has been a big ingredient in the recipe for destruction.
All of us need to take a walk back on memory lane. Think about how you once believed the world worked and your response to it when you were a teenager; then move through life a decade or so at a time to today. Eyeopener. That has been one of the central themes of my BIMD series.
It’s the same process here, just more accelerated with all of the proofs and input from people who truly care. We are so far ahead on understanding the world than the average person it is crazy.
Now go to PDT and the team. They are dealing with it on a world wide stage. Mind boggling what has to be understood and acted upon.
I have gone from being highly skeptical to now believing there are elements of the destruction and misery that did have to be that way. There is probably more exposure on tap before the total reset button is pushed. Restoration of national sovereignty has to be completed. It is Biblical anyway. Even in the End of Days nations exist.
This is a concrete statement, that Trump himself allowed the stolen election.
It raises more questions for me.
•Do people think Trump, et al., knew all of the ways people were cheating in the elections?
•What were the ways that he could have stopped it (instead of allowing it)? He didn’t have the courts behind him, and he didn’t have Congress. So if he had two choices — allow the cheating or stop it — how could he have stopped it?
If he had no way to stop it, then of course he is blameless.
But that’s counter to the premise of all these “theories” (I shouldn’t dignify rampant arbitrary speculation with that term), that he (or allied white hats) are really in control and allowing all this shit to happen.

Yes, and it goes against everything I’ve seen regarding Trump. He follows the law. To have known all the cheating mechanisms and not done anything about it in order to “show” the people how bad things could get while allowing America to be destroyed over the next four years would have been to make a gamble, with our country as a pawn, that things would eventually turn out right in the end.

The idea that he Trump could have stopped all this without millions of people dying is the error, IMO. It was never WORTH IT to stop things.
The cost/benefit of stopping the criminals has simply not reached a point where “doing anything that can be done” makes sense.
My *hypothesis* is more like “people had to SUFFER to get them off their asses”.
After this election, hopefully, I’ll have some time to talk a bit about this, in some detail. But until then, think of it this way. “The cure can’t be worse than the disease.” Stopping the insane left and cheating criminals in 2020 would have resulted in far greater division than stopping them in 2024.
Trump actually worked very hard not to push too hard.
The easy way to think about this is to craft a plan to stop things in 2020. I have considered a great number of things that could have been done – and that’s assuming that Trump sacked Milley Vanilley and did any other moves required to deal with all the other obstructions. EVERY solution would be painted as “insurrection” by the left. In the end, the regime actually had to FAKE an “insurrection” themselves.
I think the forces behind Trump knew that “natural consequences” was the way to deal with it. Let America suffer for 4 years. It makes tons of sense to me.
All of that makes sense. I also try to always keep in mind that there can be negative consequences to any decision that is made. Sometimes in war, for example, either of two decisions will get people killed, but a choice is still required.
I had not considered that the idea that Trump allowed this to happen meant that he didn’t take major actions that are not Constitutional and that might get people killed, because he would not do that.
He had already been impeached twice. Anything he had tried to do would have been labeled an insurrection, as you say, or would have resulted in impeachment or worse.
But I haven’t considered any of that as Trump willfully allowing the election to be stolen. I consider it to be that Trump’s hands were tied. I don’t see the situation he was in, in November of 2020, as being one where he had any choices that I can think of to stop cheating or make any major changes of that sort.
So to me, the constantly parroted “Trump knew it had to be this way because the people had to see how bad things were” is completely disingenuous. Of course he knew it would be better if people were more aware of the situation we’re in. But to take that further and say he caused his loss in the election is a bridge too far for me.

Excellent point. In the four-year “pause,” the damage has increased exponentially. (As we have said, Trump himself points this out.) Another four years of Trump executive orders will not fix the problem. They will just be undone by the next office holders.
Of course Trump and team are planning more than executive orders, but I agree that four years is not nearly enough to fix the problems. It would take years of strong MAGA control of Congress and the courts.
I agree with you about facing reality being too scary for some. IMO, that places us in danger just as much as the reality itself. We can’t become a complacent people who are waiting to be saved, thinking all we have to do is vote Trump in. The road ahead is extremely rocky.

For the record, I’m not saying that the things that appear to be Q proofs are not; I’m saying that those who insist that Trump caused the stolen election because he “had to show people how bad things are” are actually accusing Trump of something bad. I’m keeping an open mind about how things have gone down, but it’s also possible that Trump was taken off guard by the election and that we indeed in a “pause” that was forced because of it. the county where i used to live spent a ton of $$ to repurpose old railway lines that were no longer in use by the railroads. they created a wonderful bike trail system that my son used to bike to work everyday. he said he SELDOM saw other bikers.
we have the same. It is called the Tobacco trail. It is not much used.
Memphis has one too. My brother uses it to get downtown faster when he’s feeling invincible. The occupants nearby are urban destroyers who break bottles , trash it up and if they happen to be loitering about give off menacing vibes.

For Cycle 25 Jan 2020 to Sept 2023 (3 yrs 8 months) and we do not know if there will be a second peak.
Given most solar cycles are ~11 years long, I think the chances of a second peak look pretty high.Esp. since the last three cycles were double peaked.

OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina/Gray News) – The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office said deputies are investigating following an incident at the Oconee Nuclear Station Thursday night.
Deputies said they responded to the plant at around 8:05 p.m. after someone reported that a car had driven through the exit side of the gate on the part of the facility facing Highway 183.
According to deputies, once the driver hit the pop-up barricades that plant security activated, they backed the vehicle up and went down a dirt road where Duke Energy security members blocked the car in.
Deputies stated that the driver then drove through a fence after trying to hit the security officers there. There, the driver drove out of the plant’s exit, where he tried to hit a security member’s truck before going back onto Highway 183 and onto a property on Jones Mill Road, where shots were fired. Deputies added that they are currently unsure what the source of the gunshots was.
None of the security staff was injured, Duke Energy said.
The same car showed up an hour before trying to crash through the gate, and the driver was asked to leave, deputies said.,
Deputies said they are currently searching for this suspect. They described his car as a 2002 Toyota Camry that has a license plate from Arkansas with tag number 380VDR.
Anyone with information about this car or the driver is asked to call 911 immediately.
The Oconee Nuclear Station has three nuclear reactors and started generating power 50 years ago on Lake Keowee.
The plant continues to operate safely, officials said.
“Duke Energy has comprehensive security plans and a well-trained security workforce in place. A vehicle entered an administrative gate, but was not able to access the plant due to our multiple layers of security,” Duke Energy said in statement.

BREAKING: As expected, Judge Cannon will delay the trial schedule in Jack Smith’s classified documents case against Trump. Details to follow

You will see much caterwauling by corporate media types and usual suspects like Weissmann and McQuade how Cannon is doing Trump’s bidding.
But the blame lies SOLELY at the feet of DOJ. Jack Smith brought 2 unprecedented federal cases against a former president within two months of each other. He asked for, and was granted, an expedited trial schedule in D.C. Judge Chutkan gave Trump 7 months to prepare for trial–the typical J6 case goes to trial over a year after indictment.
The classified docs trial represents major obstacles to defense (Trump and 2 co-defendants) as they attempt to view classified discovery in a Miami SCIF the government just set up on October 18. All attorneys had to obtain security clearances.
Discovery is voluminous–1.3 million pages of unclassified, 5,500 pages of classified, and years’ worth of security footage from Trump’s properties.
Further, Smith brought a superseding indictment in classified docs case several weeks after June indictment was handed down, adding another defendant and more charges against Trump.
Smith is playing games–Chutkan lets him, Cannon doesn’t. Which is why she has earned the enmity of corporate media and their “expert” lapdogs.

House Republicans approved legislation Friday that would slash nearly 40 percent of the budget for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The funding bill, passed by a 213-203 vote, cuts 39 percent of the EPA’s budget and would be the smallest budget the agency has had in three decades. Republican Reps. Brian Fitzpatrick (Pa.), Mike Lawler (N.Y.) and Marc Molinaro (N.Y.) voted against the bill, while Democratic Rep. Vicente Gonzalez (Texas) was recorded as voting for it.
Republicans have had longstanding complaints about the agency, which takes on pollution, contamination and climate change, arguing that it overreaches.
Rep. Mike Simpson (R-Idaho), who chairs the subcommittee that wrote the bill, characterized the funding reductions it would deliver as necessary to curtail Inflation and the national debt.
“Cutting funding is never easy or pretty, but with the national debt in excess of $33 trillion and inflation at an unacceptable level, we had to make tough choices to rein in federal spending,” Simpson said on the floor Thursday.
The massive funding cut proposed by the GOP has virtually no chance of becoming law in this year’s budget but marks a starting point in negotiations for Republicans as they look to negotiate with Democrats in the Senate on funding the government.
The bill is one of 12 annual government funding bills Republicans hoped to have passed by a Nov. 17 deadline to prevent a shutdown. However, Republicans face a challenge in staying unified on spending as they look to approve the remaining five bills in the tight window.
In addition to the top-line EPA cuts, the GOP bill would also rescind provisions from the climate, tax and health care bill that Democrats passed last year. It targets funding aimed at helping underserved communities combat climate change and pollution.

If this bill is not serious, then the GOP is playing games. If the bill is serious, then the Senate better get off its duff and either vote on the House bill or amend it.
Assuming the Senate amends the bill, the two versions will go to a joint committee of House and Senate for negotiation. But assuming the Senate wants to “force” a CR / omnibus, it will not produce anything even close to the House bill and then use propaganda to squeeze the wimpy House GOP into doing a CR.
If Mike Johnson sent over a bill that is serious, he needs to establish his bona fides by refusing to alter what he has already sent over. IOW this is it and you can’t do anything about it, Mr. Senate.
And by the way, there’s a half dozen more bills that we will send over and they will all be in the same way – this is what we will authorize and no more.
We’ll see if Johnson’s rhetoric and reputation matches reality. 😮

Ground report: I have big sads. I got an emergency notice on the phone at home. A 6-year-old boy has gone missing with his two dogs not so far from my home. There’s forest all around the long road he lives on and I don’t know if he is on my side of the highway or the other. There are homes sprinkled along both sides, but it is rural. It got dark not long after I got the message. I turned on all the outside lights in case he is lost and looking for a home to go to. Prayers please.
Wondering. Tonight’s forecast low? Afternoon weather, such that he likely has a coat… Good the emergency notice went out. Folks are looking and boy has two dogs with him. Lights on, great idea.
A call to the sheriff’s office will likely yield which side of the road he lives, likely wandered off. Yea, not definitive. Indicator.
As an aside, after several hours, suggest contact Sheriff’s office (whoever initiated the emergency broadcast), inquiring if the boy was found. Repeat as reasonable.
FWIW. ~Four years ago. Autistic child didn’t arrive at home, as expected. Elementary school along a river. They guessed the child went down to the river, and… Fell in, or turned left…towards a canyon / valley with few houses… Colder part of the year. Dark earlier.
Emergency alert went out. Lots of folks walking about with flashlights, 4x4s… Called, they had lots of searchers. No more needed.
Several hours later, called. boy was found safe.
Point here. NO follow up message saying boy was found, safe, now home…
Prayers the boy is found quickly.

Very goof the dogs are with him. My Black Lab took care of me at that age when I went roaming all over creation. (I actually walked the 6 miles thru the wood all the way to town once. I was around 7 or 8.)
