Why is 2023 looking so bad AFTER a ‘pandemic’?
In 2020, the elderly died in Care Homes (NG163, Isolation, Ventilators…).

In 2023, death in every age group accelerates when they should be the lowest on record.

Most official sources will give the number around 3 million. In reality homeschooling has grown to somewhere around 5-6 million per the umbrella schools and curriculum providers.
There is an unknown number of kids who were never brought to the attention of the state educational establishments, who would thereby have trouble counting them.

He didn’t throw the election — if anything, he threw the inauguration. On the night of the election, he was shown the cheating in real-time. He probably figured, “this should be easy to fix.”

By the time of January 6, he saw how the narrative for a buffalo jump could be slanted against the buffalo, and judged that the time wasn’t right to do a full-court press because people had to be shown. It was clear that the enemy had thoroughly prepared and there would be series of ambushes.

He knew that cheating was going on and had made a number of statements about it in the months before the election. He might have suspected there would be enough cheating to make it look as if he had lost.
As for “getting out of the way,” that is the theory that he allowed the cheating because “you have to show the people.” I need someone to explain what he could have done to stop it, because if you allow something, then you also have the power to keep it from happening. If it can’t be explained how he could have stopped the steal but allowed it anyway, then the theory falls apart.
There is a difference between “allowing” and “not trying to stop something that can’t be stopped easily or with acceptable losses” – the latter being what I think really happened.
Which again begs the question, what could he have done to stop it? He had no power over individual states’ new, unlawful rules. I can’t think of one thing he could have done, lawfully and Constitutionally. I also don’t know what the “acceptable losses” would have been. If people are going to keep saying he stood by and let the election be stolen — which is what this is, regardless of the chosen rhetoric — then I’d like for them to provide details.
IMO, talk of his “stepping aside,” “allowing,” “not trying to stop,” etc., are not only euphemistic ways of saying the same thing, but I see it as accusing Trump of doing something egregious by omission. I’m tired of THAT being the accepted narrative when we have no idea where the truth resides.
Is the idea that he could have used the military in some way? If so, I’d like for someone to explain exactly, in detail, how that could have gone down, including what the aftermath and consequences of it would have been. No one will flesh out the theory. No one seems to be thinking about what they’re expecting people to believe, or even what they themselves believe.
If there was nothing he could have done, then to keep saying he failed to act (which really means he stood by and let our election be stolen) is moot. There is no reason to say it. The really cool clearances and accesses we had, should have been revoked, IF the Feds thought we were bad guys or a danger to anyone / anything.

Truly no idea, other than, each time SSSS showed, we received extra attention going through security. Airline check-in goofs always, had their highlighter out, to highlight the SSSS.
We were never denied boarding, ticketing, etc.
At least once, during boarding process, we were pulled out for an extra pat down.
Feds, TSA, even when “security” was airline contracted, has always been goofy, at best. IMO.
There was a time they’d draw a big heart on the boarding pass with highlighter, too.
I got that once simply because it was a one way ticket. (Really a replacement for a return flight I missed.)

I am not quite following kalb. I was drawing a conclusion based on what might be TSA’s uses for that code based on just randomly assigning the code like manufacturers randomly pick items from the production line to do quality control testing. Same idea for security. The fact that you had that code several times on your flights would suggest that my conclusions are unlikely. I can think of no other reason why an infant would be assigned such a code but random happenstance.

I’m doing one called “Future Skills — How to Succeed in a Digital World”. I’m in Chapter 2, where the author is going on-and-f’ing-on about the importance of data and data literacy.
Years ago, there was a science-fiction story about a guy who had a near-miraculous talent. You could ask him about whether you should do a specific course of action and he’d do a certain amount of research (some on-site) and come back with a “yes” or “no” — which was about 80% accurate. He commanded immense consulting fees and was flown around the galaxy to provide his services. That’s because he provided actionable information.
Information is immensely valuable. By contrast, we are awash in data — more every year — but data by itself is crap. Just like the meme about underwear gnomes, whose business plan is:

this is a story for wolf…
about 5 years ago, my granddaughter was visiting and she asked where all the trees came from in the woods surrounding us. after a brief discussion, we came upon some acorns from the huge oak trees on the edge of the woods. she asked if we could plant them and grow trees. I said sure.
we planted them in pots and brought them inside the house. i watered them and waited and in spring, they sprouted–not all by any stretch of the imagination but more than half did. In the summer, i put the pots out on the deck which was a grave mistake. by morning the deck was littered with dirt as the squirrels dug out the acorn bottoms, ate them and left the tender shoots to die. i called and told my granddaughter and she said…we’ll try again!
the following fall, we planted 6 acorns, but by spring only 2 sprouted. I kept these in the house. in the fall, their leaves turned brown and fell off. the following spring, the shoots remained brown and looked dead.
i kept watering the brown sticks but nothing turned green and my husband suggested we start over. I said they just need more time, so i continued to water the sticks for over a year.
last week, the one “stick” sprouted SIX new leaves and looks awesome. I haven’t given up and neither have the acorns.
You were right, IMO, the “sticks” just needed more time!
That is cool! I have had plants seemingly “die,” but kept watering. Sometimes they come back.
Orchids are famous for it. They’re frequently grown in greenhouses, and you might find a pot with a “dead” orchid in it, and put the pot under a bench so you can salvage it later — and discover a flourishing plant the next time you look.

Reacting to a clip from McConnell, who suggested the comprised states are tantamount to a new “axis of evil,” Paul tells “Eric Bolling The Balance” that “I think Sen. McConnell is siding with Biden and with Schumer on this, and I think he doesn’t represent conservatives or Kentucky rather that well. Because folks in Kentucky think we’ve got some problems at home, and we don’t need to be sending borrowed money abroad.”
“It’s not a conservative notion to borrow money from China to send it to Ukraine. There is no extra money,” Paul adds. “There’s no rainy day fund. There is no surplus fund to draw from. It’s all got to be borrowed. So I think it’s a big mistake for McConnell to be siding with Biden and Schumer on this, and I think people at home aren’t happy with it.”
