And now for the obligatory message from our sponsors:

Here at the Q tree we believe in the concept of CIVIL open free speech and the discussion that fleshes out ideas. When commenting and participating in the OPEN discussion on this thread all comments MUST NOT CONTAIN personal threats, baiting, name calling, or other anti-social words fomenting hate, violence or destruction. Our host Wolfm00n has strict rules about that.

Fellow tree dweller, the late Wheatie, gave us some good reminders on the basics of civility in political discourse:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone

Please, stock up on blanks for celebratory gunfire, be ready to swing from the chandeliers…and no messing with the nuclear weapons.

Please remember to remain locked and loaded and ready for trouble should the insurrectionists try to invade your space.

Those who have things to say that do not fit the generally accepted limits of “civil” discussion, Wolf has provided a venue known as the UTree. You’re welcome to visit over there and say hi to anyone hanging out over there. The “Rescue Thread” is also over there. In the event a rendezvous of the tree is needed, please check it out, as well as the newest rescue venue.

Auntie DePat’s requests:

If you see something has not been posted, do us all a favor, and post it. Please, do not complain that it has not been done yet.

The scroll wheel on your mouse can be your friend. As mature adults, please use it here in the same manner you would in avoiding online porn.

Thank you so much for any and all attention to such details. It is GREATLY appreciated by more than one party here.

One other vital note:

Please, review these rules that our host Wolfm00n outlined toward the beginning of the growth of the tree itself. it won’t take long.

LUKE 17:11-19

11On the way to Jerusalem he was passing along between Sama’ria and Galilee. 12And as he entered a village, he was met by ten lepers, who stood at a distance 13and lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.” 14When he saw them he said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went they were cleansed. 15Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice; 16and he fell on his face at Jesus’ feet, giving him thanks. Now he was a Samaritan. 17Then said Jesus, “Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine? 18Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?” 19And he said to him, “Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well.”

As always, prayers for the fight against that which seeks to enslave us are welcome.

Please include: President Donald Trump, the Q team, our soldiers in the field, special forces, tactical units, first responders and those working behind the scenes…and any and all people with family members in the hospital, COVID or not.

And…members of the QTree who no longer participate for one reason or another.

It is quite clear, as per Wolf’s message from July, that we are under spiritual attack. Building up a robust arsenal of prayer and discipline is a must in fighting the enemy and his minions.

In that spirit, the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel from Tuesday’s threads, and the Breastplate of St. Patrick, not to mention the Litany of Humility are favorites recommended by exorcists in spiritual warfare.

And it’s in my county.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

The first time I saw Mount Rainier, I thought “Fist of God” (from Ringworld).

Apparently just a few centuries ago it was over 15,000 feet but some massive landslide shortened it.

cthulhu

It is quite impressive — there’s nothing nearby to detract from it.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

There’s a concept of “topographic prominence.” Essentially, it’s the difference between the elevation of the peak, and the elevation of the highest saddle to a higher peak. If I am standing on some 14,000 ft mountain, and there’s another mountain that’s 14,001 (or more) feet somewhere else, and I want to hike to the other peak, how low in elevation do I have to go to do it? Subtract, that’s the “topographic prominance”. Another useful number is how far away that higher peak is.

Thus, Pikes Peak is fairly prominent. Colorado has a lot of 14,000+ ft mountains (called “fourteeners”), but they show up in two large “clumps” in the state…with Pikes Peak being an outlier.

Check out the MK EYES on this broad!

TheseTruths

Do you think she’s really MK’d? I just think she’s a not-very-bright, unprincipled, bought-off opportunist for whom the concept of serving and defending the country as founded is unthinkable.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

AND logic.

She’s all of those things you mention – but she is another case (like McCarthy, recently) of “sudden banjo eyes”. Either she had work done, or something weird, that made her eyes go rounder than normal. And THAT has been associated with MK.

TheseTruths

I’m not saying she’s not MK’d, but I definitely think she’s had work done that involves the area around her eyes. Or maybe she was wearing some kind of “tape” that is supposed to help with sagging. “Mommy, Mommy, my ponytail is too tight,” LOL.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

LOL!

In any case, her 1A gaffe is gonna finish off her campaign, IMO.

Yes McCarthy looks different also. His eyes are wide open something strange in the look of their faces and the eyes are a give away.

Barb Meier

I wonder if there is a medical or mental condition causing the unnaturally wide open eyes. It is way too intense. A former colleague’s sister was a single mom with a little girl only about 5 years old at the time. One morning, she sat down on the floor in the living room and had some kind of aneurysm. Died right there before taking her daughter to school. My colleague moved back to Arkansas to finish raising her niece. I remember seeing a photo of her sister and her eyes were unnaturally wide open like that. It made me wonder…

Jack Smith is a THUG

Please read the following even though it comes from Yahoo. It has useful, even truthful historical information.

https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/nikki-haleys-family-her-husband-165537274.html

Those who read my stories and posts on here know we vacation on HHI. That began in the 80’s and as the years progressed grew to spending 4-6 weeks a year there. We considered retiring to the island, but it grew too much in population to suit our tastes.

Through her military oriented husband who has all of the classic characteristics of being MK’d – Haley became a fixture there with his family. The church mentioned in the article for their marriage is where we worshipped when visiting for over 25 years until 10 years ago. I knew the pastor there well that handled their worship life as he became a Bishop in our conference later, who has since retired. Through that we met the pastor that followed at St. Andrews. We got to know members there. As this was all going on I was offered our conference lay leader role, which covered a quarter million members in our area. I declined as I had long figured out the truth, knew the compromises that would need to be made, and soon left the UMC anyway. What truly Christian church would ever let a false religion perform a marriage on their property? The same one that continued to become a false Christian religious denomination in its own right.

She is a devious puppet on a string just like the rest of the RINOs and Dems.

Yikes, let’s not talk about Mt. Rainier blowing. If it did, it would take out the whole state.

pgroup2

Nah. But it sure would devastate Orting and Frederickson/Graham.

cthulhu

The thing about Cascades volcanoes, they have a bit of unpredictability. One could just take out things directly downhill from the summit, or parts of multiple states.

Linda

Mt. Rainier would take out a whole heck of a lot more than Mt. St. Helens did.

cthulhu

It could, but not necessarily would.

If it does a big eruption, there could be volcanic ashfall as far south as San Francisco.

Barb Meier

I was living in Kansas City, MO when Mt. St. Helens erupted and we got ash from it. Not deep of course but it was impressive how far it traveled.

cthulhu

Mazama left detectable ash in Greenland.

Be glad you’re not in Iceland!
Iceland ‘is on edge’ waiting for volcanic eruption amid fears river of lava could hit power plant after giant crack tears through town, thousands are evacuated and over 700 more earthquakes since yesterday, with ‘unholy sounds’ coming up from the earth

Iceland ‘is on edge’ as experts say earthquakes that have been rumbling beneath the surface for days and have torn through a town are a precursor to a volcanic eruption.

More than 700 quakes have been recorded in the south-western Reykjanes Peninsula since yesterday, and despite them being slightly weaker than in previous days the Fagradalsfjall volcano is still expected to erupt.

Iceland has been shaken by thousands of tremors over the past few days, with a state of emergency declared on Friday and around 4,000 people ordered to leave the fishing community of Grindavik.

Evacuated residents have reported hearing ‘unholy sounds’ from beneath the ground as they fled, while those allowed to return to collect belongings from their deserted homes were told: ‘If you hear sirens, drop everything and get out!’

Sinkholes have opened up around the town, and now aerial footage captured by the Coast Guard shows a chasm running through the centre, with smoke pouring out of the gaping splits as magma rises.

Meanwhile, authorities are urgently preparing to build defence walls around a nearby geothermal power plant which they desperately hope will protect it from lava flows – amid concerns that a volcanic eruption could be imminent.

As usual, the Daily Mail has lots of pics. You can see huge cracks in the streets.

cthulhu

During the 2010 Eyjafjallajokull eruption, we were in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

At the time, if you overstayed your visa you were screwed-a-mundo. You had to hire lawyers to go back to the consulate that issued your visa in the first place to try to get it fixed, while you were essentially under house arrest in Russia until it got sorted out.

We had contingency plans to take a hydrofoil to Finland if aviation was shut down.

cthulhu

Rainier is currently the largest volcano in the Cascades, at 14,411 feet tall. Mount Mazama was only about 12,000 feet tall before its eruption and collapse (forming Crater Lake).

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

And Mazama was a sizeable eruption. Mt. St. Helens was actually not that big an eruption as eruptions go.

Eruptions are measured on a VEI (Volcanic Explosivity Index) scale, which is logarithmic. Mt. St. Helens was a 5, Mazama was a 7. As was Tambora. Krakatoa was a 6.

Pinatubo was also a 6.

Yellowstone was an 8.

BREAKING: US District Court Rules a Lifetime Gun Ban for a Drunk Driving Conviction is Unconstitutional

A United States District Court Judge has ruled that a man convicted of drunk driving almost two decades ago cannot have his gun rights taken away. In 2005, Edward A. Williams was convicted of driving while under the influence, a first-degree misdemeanor punishable by up to five years in prison. He was allowed to serve his sentence of 90 days to two years at home because of a medical problem.

That conviction forfeited his gun rights under federal law, 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1).

He filed suit to regain his gun rights in 2017, arguing that a lifetime loss of gun rights for a non-violent misdemeanor conviction violates his Second Amendment rights. He lost.

Backed by the Firearms Policy Coalition, Williams subsequently filed for a rehearing under the Supreme Court’s Bruen decision. Today, District Court Judge John Milton Younge (a Trump appointee) ruled that under Bruen, stripping the gun rights of someone who had a previous DUI conviction is unconstitutional…

That Bruen decision has been instrumental in a lot of cases. If Trump hadn’t chosen the justices he did, it might not have happened.

Has anyone heard from phoenixrising lately? I hope she is okay.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

I was wondering about her myself. I think she bailed out of here after October 7 due to her position on Palestinians vs. Israel.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

I miss her coverage on the war in Ukraine!

litenmaus

Phoenix may be like myself Wolf. Covering foreign events is exasperating. Vetting information that’s being released and vetting those that post the information is terribly time consuming during the best of times, but during the days following October 7th, 99% of the information being reported by both the Russian & Ukraine Defense Ministries absolutely disappeared from the internet.

Statements from any regular Ukraine government officials has gone poof in the ether and it’s like NATO doesn’t exist. It has been disheartening recognizing the power of censorship & propaganda programming that is being used against the public. It wears on one after a while and hopefully Phoenix is just taking some time to recharge her batteries.

I too miss Phoenix and her desire to help keep the conversations going by presenting us with banquets of information and sharing her opinions.

kalbokalbs

MacGregor, Larry Johnson and others are doing few interviews on Ukraine since, 7 October. I’ve been looking, searching.

Mostly all I locate are short videos, which I share. IntelSlava doesn’t have much Ukraine these days. .

TheseTruths

That is what it seemed like.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Halfway down that thread, she was posting downright antisemitic or pro Islamic stuff (and I know the difference between that and not supporting Israel) and a couple of people here were rather relentless in their criticism. The last thing I saw of hers was a post that simply read “(deleted)”

Honestly with the stuff she was posting, I have to say I won’t miss her.

cthulhu

Anyone can have a bad day or get caught up in stupid stuff. I miss her and I hope she comes back.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

It wasn’t a “bad day” she had been doing that for a whole week.

It was pretty clear to me–she can’t abide Jews.

para59r

Of the opinion she may of passed and one of the professional watchers took over her account. Not much to go on, but she was aging and all of her Israel/Hamas arguments were rather impersonal with no attempt at dialogue.

Look for the cartoon she posted of the Israeli seeing himself in a mirror as a Nazi.

Someone suggested that phoenix passed away, and one of our “professional watchers” “took over” her account. I honestly hope that is what happened, because that cartoon was despicable.

singingsoul1

Not agreeing is not always criticism. That is a problem communicating with people and taking things personal. Disagreement is normal in healthy conversation. One can talk out the way one supports Israel and or Palestinian cause

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

This wasn’t a disagreement over the war. Yes, some of us don’t mind helping out Israel, and others do. That difference hasn’t been an problem.

Some of the stuff she was posting was painting Hamas in a positive light and Israel in a negative light, and it was pretty clear that it was “because Jews”

I know the difference between being anti Jewish and anti Israel. This was anti Jew.

singingsoul1

Ah I did not realize that.

Aubergine

I agree. And I’m sure “a couple of people here were rather relentless in their criticism” is referring to me, in part.

I am pretty tolerant, but that cartoon she posted with the Israeli in the mirror was a bridge too far.

Walmart, Costco and other companies rethink self-checkout

The backlash against self-checkout is growing, and stores are starting to dial back on the technology after it exploded over the past few years.

Booths, a British supermarket chain, said it’s removing self-checkout stations in all but two of its 28 stores. In the United States, Walmart, Costco, Wegmans and other chains have also revised their self-checkout strategies.

“Our customers have told us this over time — that the self-scan machines that we’ve got in our stores … can be slow, they can be unreliable (and) they’re obviously impersonal,” Booths managing director Nigel Murray told the BBC.

…But now, retailers are rethinking self-checkout. They have found that self-checkout leads to higher merchandise losses from customer errors and intentional shoplifting — known as “shrink” — than human cashiers ringing up customers.

One study of retailers in the United States, Britain and other European countries found that companies with self-checkout lanes and apps had a loss rate of about 4%, more than double the industry average.

Some products have multiple barcodes or barcodes that don’t scan properly with self-checkout technology. Produce, including fruit and meat, typically needs to be weighed and manually entered into the system using a code. Customers may type in the wrong code by accident. Other times shoppers won’t hear the “beep” confirming an item has been scanned properly.

Other customers take advantage of the lax oversight at self-checkout aisles and have developed techniques for stealing. Common tactics include not scanning an item, swapping a cheaper item (bananas) for a more expensive one (steak), scanning counterfeit barcodes attached to their wrists or properly scanning everything and then walking out without paying.

Customer mistakes and cheating were all predictable.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

I prefer self checkout. The machines at Walmart got upgraded recently and they no longer suck. I get through quicker than if I have to stand in line behind the moron who goes through six cards trying to make his payment.

But yes, I wonder how the stores have tolerated the shrink from dishonest people, or from mistakes (however mistakes should sometimes be in the store’s favor).

Another thing I hate about manned checkout is the “fast lane” that also happens to be the lane you MUST go through to buy cigarettes. So I am stuck behind some pig with dozens of items in their shopping cart, who knows they can use the fast lane so long as they buy a pack of cigarettes.

You no longer get free bags in Colorado, so at least if I do go through a line staffed by a person, I don’t have to contend with them over how to bag my stuff any more.

Last edited 1 year ago by SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA
Happy go lucky

I’m with you, I much prefer checking and bagging my own things, but then I shop at an atypically nice Wally World in a pleasant, small Americana town.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Actually I very briefly dated someone who pulled that “get special help because she wants cigarettes” thing. Turned out her card didn’t work and so the store had to hoop jump for ten minutes. She apologized profusely and thanked the employees profusely…but then I found out from a mutual acquaintance that she does it every time, complete with trying to use the same card. Glad I didn’t continue to see her.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Also I find it MORE of a nightmare to go through carbon unit checkout in lower class walmarts, because there’s more “customer in front of me ties up everything trying four different cards and/or with his erratic behavior” in those sorts of neighborhoods.

Happy go lucky

Absolutely, the store and neighborhood are the defining features.

Barb Meier

Things work fine out here in rural Walmarts. “Try That in a Small Town” rules apply.

Happy go lucky

😊

TradeBait2

All of which is built into the pricing. Video surveillance works best for some of that stuff. It is a cost study versus benefit analysis. Add employees to reduce theft or determine if there is room in pricing to add self check for potentially higher actual loss rates.

SamsClub app on the phone with personal bar code scanning and credit card payment is the bomb. No check out lines to deal with if you go that route. You simply scan the items as you go, count your items in the cart, slide the pay on the phone, walk to the store check out, the clerks use their phones to scan the QR code on yours, check three random items to verify you scanned/paid for them, then head out the door and go to the house.

The WalMart here added more self check. The vast majority of people prefer it. We always self check if given an option.

rayzorback

I also like the Sams “shop and go” app.
Skip ALL lines.

singingsoul1

I refuse self checkout because it causes a checker their job. I tell them that also and refuse to shop where their is self checkout.
Often people specially older people the checkout is the only human contact they have in a day.
Friendliness and personable is important to me because I am very friendly and like to connect with people. I also like people keep their job and not be replaced by a machine.
My husband is happy to use the self checkout 🙂

TradeBait2

I can see the jobs being an issue in some areas of the country. It isn’t here. If you want a job there are literally thousands of openings that have nothing to do with being a checkout cashier. Which is why self check is liked by so many folks. Regional differences.

singingsoul1

That is possible and personal preference also. Here they take a picture every time one shops and one is retread as if one steals. The self check out is not friendly.

TradeBait2

Good observation.

“Other criticism centered on her competence and prosecutorial decisions, including trying a disorderly conduct case involving Scott Smith, the parent of a Loudoun high school student who was sexually assaulted in what became a high-profile case.”

Catherine Engelbrecht (@TrueTheVote

Catherine challenges each one of us to become “election evangelists” by generating a list of 50 people we know (friends, family members, neighbors, coworkers, people in your church, post office, doctor’s office, hair and nail salon, barber, grocery store, etc.) and ask each person on our lists if they are registered to vote. You might be surprised by how many people on your list are NOT registered!

If they are not registered, show them how/where to register, then follow up with them before every election from local to state to national elections to remind them to double check their registration, ensure they know where to vote, and to take 3 people with them to VOTE!

Then, encourage them to come up with their list of 50 people to do the same!

Thank you for re-highlighting Dr. Buckhaults’s testimony. He did this about two months ago, and it was discussed on the board here. He, by the way, believes that mRNA-based “vaccines” can have a place, but that the technology and application thereof aren’t fully “ready for prime time” yet. IIRC, he himself is also “fully vaccinated.”

Racist A.G. Letitia James is smirking all day long from her seat in Court, as New York continues to set records in murder and other violent crimes, and businesses flee to other States. “This is a law that’s rather bazar, this is a law that doesn’t require any victims (there are none, except me!), it doesn’t require anyone to lose money – the banks didn’t complain here, they made money. You have a (Trump Hating!) Attorney General who’s seeking hundreds of millions of dollars in damages when not a single penny was lost by these banks, and that’s part of this (Unconstitutional!) Law…You can see from the reaction of A.G. James, every morning from that seat, that she is enjoying this, enjoying it a bit too much.” Law Professor Jonathan Turley. THIS LAW HAS NEVER BEEN USED FOR THIS BEFORE. It is both Unconstitutional and very UNFAIR! No businesses will come to New York, only continue to leave. The whole case is RIGGED from D.C. It is ELECTION INTERFERENCE. OUR COUNTRY IS BROKEN & CORRUPT!!!

I hear you. In some of the Q posts, misspellings were on purpose. As usual, people are carrying that idea forward and applying it universally. It is possible that a current misspelling might be done to indicate that Trump is aware of something or is signalling something, but sometimes they might just be misspellings or typos.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

I suspect that Trump would sometimes deliberately flub something easy (easier than bizarre) just to get people to show it around and say “look what a dufus.”

Or it’s possible he’s just not a good speller. Plenty of smart people are bad at it.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Another excellent article that faces the reality of Israel and Gaza:

“Few people recognize that the real issue is not Palestinians vs. Israel.  It is Muslims vs. Jews.  Muslims conquered present-day Israel and Gaza in the 600s, after which the territory has been considered by Muslims to be part of the Islamic “House of Peace,” where sharia rules the land.  When the Crusaders reclaimed the Holy Land for Christendom, their existence humiliated Muslims because it meant that the infidels took back what was considered Muslim land.  The Islamic world was determined to take back the Holy Land and remove the humiliation that infidel occupation represented, never mind that Christians had controlled that territory for hundreds of years before Islam ever existed.

History is now repeating itself, except that, instead of Crusaders, it’s Jewish infidels.  As hard as Israel has tried to make peace with its Islamic neighbors (with some success in Egypt and Jordan), Hamas found a way to undo all this progress by calling for jihad against Israel, the supposed infidel colonizers of Muslim land, even though Jews had ruled that land for millennia before Islam existed.”

Thank you very good article.
Many people even some Jews who are defending Palestinians do not realist that Muslim countries drove out all Jews. I believe it was 800 millions. They also had to leave their houses and businesses.
The question I always ask myself why should Israelis not have their own county and why other Muslim countries are not taking in Palestinians?
Palestinians will never be happy Christians and Jews are eliminated.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

So really, the problem isn’t that they’re Jewish. It’s that they’re non-Muslims ruling land that is “supposed” to be Muslim.

So the real issue is Muslim vs. Kaffir. And these kaffirs just happen to be Jewish.

Aubergine

It’s really muslims against everybody who isn’t muslim.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Well, that’s what kaffir means…a non-Muslim, an infidel. It’s almost a profane word to them.

Aubergine

Ok. I looked it up and the definition I found said it was an African, lol.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

AH…got it

My bad. The Muslim term has one f: kafir.

From Wikipedia:

The term is often translated as ‘infidel,’[7][8]pagan,’ ‘rejector,’[9]denier,’ ‘disbeliever,’[3] ‘unbeliever,’[2][3] ‘nonbeliever,’[2][3] and ‘non-Muslim.’[10] The term is used in different ways in the Quran, with the most fundamental sense being ‘ungrateful’ (toward God).[11][12]Kufr means ‘unbelief’ or ‘non-belief,’[2] ‘to be thankless,’ ‘to be faithless,’ or ‘ingratitude.’[12] The opposite term of kufr is īmān (‘faith’),[13] and the opposite of kāfir is muʾmin (‘believer’).[14] A person who denies the existence of a creator might be called a dahri.[15][16]

Yes. I’m so sorry about the death of your friend.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

I can’t blame the jabs for any one particular death of an elderly person. Lots of elderly people die, maybe this one particular elderly person (whoever it is) would have died anyway.

But I am confident that many elderly who would not have died when they did, died because of the jab. It’s just hard to know which ones in particular.

Actually that could be a really big problem when trying to bring these people to justice. You can’t point to someone who is unambiguously a victim. “You killed ten million people with those jabs!” “Oh? Which ten million people?” “Ten million, out of these twenty.” “I move the charges be dismissed; they haven’t identified any victims by name”

pgroup2

Autopsies are important. And costly.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

If it’s big rubbery clots in the circulatory system, sure, that’s conclusive. And if enough of those turn up we can get them for a smaller (but still large) number.

Cancers? I have no idea if an autopsy can tell the difference between a natural cancer and one from the clot shot.

I’m curious, though…did I actually identify a possible legal/evidentiary loophole they might try to slither through?

pgroup2

Yep.

singingsoul1

My mother in law died in her sleep. She had high blood pressure but no heart condition. True sometimes old people die in their sleep without the jab.

Did she have untreated apnea? Characterized by loud snoring.

I’ve lost 2 friends to it. Both were 65, one was obese and the other was trim.

States file brief opposing the gag order against President Trump
article
A group of 18 Republican state attorneys general argued Tuesday night that former President Donald Trump’s gag order undermines their citizen’s interest in “hearing from major political candidates” in the coming 2024 election.

The states, led by Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird and West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey, filed a friend-of-the-court brief with the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia backing Trump’s appeal of the gag order in his 2020 election case. District Judge Tanya Chutkan “overstepped” her role when she imposed the order, the states argue.

“As administrators of free and fair elections, we have an interest in ensuring no illegal prior restraint is entered against any major political candidate,” the states wrote. “Indeed, our citizens have an interest in hearing from major political candidates in that election. The Order threatens the States’ interests by infringing on President Trump’s free speech rights.”

Chutkan’s order restricts Trump from making public statements targeting Special Counsel Jack Smith or his staff, the defense counsel or their staff, court staff and “any reasonably foreseeable witness or the substance of their testimony” in the case. A carve-out included by Chutkan clarifies that the order “shall not be construed to prohibit Defendant from making statements criticizing the government generally.”

“The judge’s approach for the gag order ignores the fact that the government’s case is political to the core—it’s obvious the other side is stopping at nothing to silence Biden’s political opponent,” Morrisey said in a statement. He noted that even the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) — “an organization on the opposite side of the GOP’s political spectrum” — sided with the former president in opposing the order as a threat to free speech.

“[W]hen political foes join in a common defense, you know there’s something there,” he said

All Americans have the right to free speech & that includes @realDonaldTrump!

Restricting a political candidate’s free speech while they run for office is a dangerous precedent & a disservice to American voters. But we’re pushing back!

Thanks for your partnership @MorriseyWV! https://t.co/6cL9Ochzbe

   — Brenna Bird (@BrennaBird) November 15, 2023

The appeals court temporarily stayed the order Nov. 3 following Trump’s appeal. A three-judge panel will consider his appeal during oral arguments Nov. 20.

Trump argued in his appeal brief that Chutkan’s decision to impose the order violates both his First Amendment rights and the rights of “tens of millions of Americans to engage in and hear core political speech in the middle of an ongoing Presidential campaign.”

Special Counsel Jack Smith’s office responded Tuesday in a brief that argued Trump does not have “an unfettered right to try his case in the media.”

The states that joined Iowa and West Virginia include Alabama, Alaska, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas and Utah.

Democrats Reeling as Spanish Language News Leader Changes Its Tune on Trump

The top-rated Spanish speaking television network is under new management and has taken a much more favorable view of Trump than it did during 2020.

The Mexican media company Grupo Televisa merged with Univision in 2022 to create TelevisaUnivision, Variety reported.

In a Tuesday article, The Washington Post noted — with a clear subtext of distress — the rapprochement between Trump and Univision.

“When Donald Trump ran for re-election in 2020, his campaign called Univision, the nation’s most influential Spanish-language network, ‘a leftist propaganda machine and a mouthpiece of the Democrat Party,’” the Post recounted.

“Three years later, Trump is treating Univision and its new corporate owners like long-lost friends. He hosted a trio of its executives at Mar-a-Lago last week during an hour-long Univision interview that was notable for its gracious tone, starting with a question about how well he is doing among Latino voters in early general election polling,” the news outlet added…

I’ve seen other articles about this Heritage Foundation project. This snarky one is from the perspective of MSNBC and is encouraging IMO.

If Trump wins in 2024, he has a dangerous tool for wrecking the government

Earlier this year we learned that the Heritage Foundation, a right-wing think tank in Washington, is spearheading a project to staff a future Trump administration with tens of thousands of pre-vetted appointees, who would be tasked with “dismantling the administrative state from day one.” On Monday, Axios published details about what the vetting process looks like, and it appears custom-tailored to generate an army of mindless Trump loyalists.

“Mindless.” There’s an unbiased adjective. 🤓

Heritage’s initiative, called Project 2025, has a reported budget of over $20 million, and it is designed to help Trump transform the federal government overnight if he wins the 2024 election.

🍿🍿🍿

During his first term, Trump was routinely hamstrung in executing policies and abusing power because he either failed to fill key bureaucratic positions or he was foiled by resistant appointees.

“Hamstrung in abusing power.” 😅😂🤣

This time Trump allies are focused on gutting the federal government’s existing bureaucracy and replacing it with sycophants.

To ensure loyalty, Project 2025 has opted for hammers rather than scalpels.

Heritage helped Trump with staff members hired during his first term; Johnny McEntee, who was director of the White House Presidential Personnel Office under Trump, is a senior adviser to the project. Heritage’s president told Axios that the project is “orders of magnitude” larger than any other such project for a party out of power. If Trump were to win, it could cause a major rupture in the way the federal government operates.

To ensure loyalty, Project 2025 has opted for hammers rather than scalpels. Heritage has contracted out Oracle to use artificial intelligence to screen loyalists, and the social media feeds of potential hires are being surveilled as part of the vetting process. There aren’t many details about how AI is being used to screen applicants, but Axios reports that social media feeds are being given “intense attention” and that applicants “queasy about testing the limits of Trump’s power will get flagged and rejected.” It also seems possible that Trump-affirming commentary could result in an algorithmic boost…

The 2025 Project personnel application is also designed to screen for MAGA devotees. The application includes many blunt questions about applicants’ political orientations, asking about their beliefs on issues like abortion, trade, immigration, racism and labor unions. It even requires applicants to select what kind of conservative they identify as through a drop-down menu of answers (traditional, fiscal, social, etc.). Many people who want to serve in a future Trump administration are likely to have a lot of conservative beliefs that align with Trump’s. But this application cues applicants to at least outwardly conform to specific worldviews that align most neatly with Trump’s, and it incentivizes intellectual homogeneity and deference to leadership. On a number of occasions, applicants are asked to list living political figures they admire. One can’t help but wonder whether applicants who list Trump in at least some of these responses could be more likely to be rewarded in the hiring process.

“Intellectual homogeneity,” oh the horror, LOL. As if we don’t have that now. It is needed to a certain degree to accomplish the goals of an administration. Just not Trump. He’s not allowed to have like-minded people around him. 🙄

‘Bill allowing Texas cops to arrest undocumented migrants heads to Gov. Greg Abbott’
No doubt the Doubting Thomas & Negative Nellie squads will jump on the bill….. they always do.
Have at it guys & dolls. The demos and the immigration groups in Texas are having a fit that Governor Abbott is going to sign it….. a good sign……. that is more of an indication that it is a good bill than the DTs and NNs screams.
“The illegal entry bill, SB 4, creates a new state crime for unauthorized entry into Texas from a foreign country, a class B misdemeanor on first offense.
The charge would increase to a felony depending on the migrant’s criminal history, including whether they had been convicted on a prior illegal entry charge. The legislation also permits a judge or county magistrate to order the migrant returned to a port of entry, but only after all identifying information is obtained and cross-referenced with state and federal databases.
State Rep. David Spiller, R-Jacksboro, is the House sponsor of the bill and vehemently defended the legislation, saying the state of Texas is inherently within its rights to defend and protect its own borders.
“It’s a landmark bill that allows Texas to protect Texans and to send illegal immigrants back, and to prosecute and incarcerate those that refuse to leave,” he said.”

This would be so good. I hope it passes.

If I’m reading that right, I think it passed and just lacks the governor’s signature. 👍🏼

Oops, sorry….

It’s not one of his better columns, but at least he’s chastising Vivek…..

At the debate the other night, the first question asked how the candidates distinguish themselves from Trump and why do they think they would be a better president than him. This is a really, really good question, and probably the main one that everybody up there should answer. But Vivek didn’t. Maybe that was strategic, because he’s basically a Trump Mini-Me who is also vegan. Yeah, he’s vegan and I can’t even.

Instead, he asks the audience if they like weed. He ignores the actual question that serious people want an answer to and starts busting out crowd-pleasing clichés like “Ronna sucks!” and “NBC sucks!” Yeah, they suck. They super suck. We all know that. But you’re not an edgy rebel for ignoring a real question by basically saying something everybody agrees with like it’s some tough stand he’s going to take flak for. “Hey America, I like puppies! Cheeseburgers are great! I love the Flag! And I’ll never apologize for saying so!”

Incidentally, there are quite a few sites whose paywalls run javascript — so if you block javascript, you never see them.

Iran Tells Hamas It Won’t Be Joining War Against Israel: REPORTJake Smith on

Iran claims Hamas did not give advance notice of its Oct. 7 terrorist attacks and will not join the group in its fight against Israel, Reuters reported on Wednesday.

Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei told Hamas head Ismail Haniyeh last month that, though Iran would continue to offer moral support, it would not get directly involved in the terror group’s fight against Israel, according to Iranian and Hamas officials who anonymously spoke to Reuters. Khamenei pressured Haniyeh to suppress Palestinian calls for Iran and Hezbollah, one of its proxy terror groups, to fully join the fight.

Ramaswamy pushes ‘FireRonna.com’ while continuing to call for RNC chair to resign
Looks as if it’s a fund-raising tactic, but yes, fire her.

“I am sick & tired of this Republican Establishment that has made us a party of losers. Where is the accountability for years of losing: 2018, 2020, 2022 and now 2023? A week ago on the GOP Debate stage, I called on Ronna Romney McDaniel to resign. Now, I’m asking grassroots conservatives across the nation to join me so she can feel the power of the people. It’s time to stop the culture of surrender and losing. Resign, Ronna. Add your name to the list,” Ramaswamy tweeted, sharing the link to FireRonna.com.

The website asks whether McDaniel should be fired, offering boxes for people to select an answer. The form on the site includes fields for first and last name, cell phone number, zip code, and email address, though email is the only field required to submit. After providing an email address and clicking the “VOTE NOW” button, users are sent to a Ramaswamy campaign fundraising page…

The fourth GOP presidential primary debate is scheduled to take place on December 6.

Fascinating tale of medical truth!

Tales from the taxi:

As a taxi driver I’ve had the great fortune of speaking with people from all walks of life and professions. I’m perpetually exposed to different viewpoints and information I might never have heard otherwise.

It was just last week that I had a long conversation with a physician that proved to be very unsettling.

At first, I didn’t know his profession. He was a soft spoken and serious individual. We talked about the local wildfires, and the hassle many of my displaced clients have had with insurance companies. From there I mentioned the oddity of health insurance companies losing money for the first time that I could remember- especially in the younger age brackets. Something I was familiar with through the work of former BlackRock hedge fund manager,
@DowdEdward

“I wonder what that could be about?” He sarcastically drawled.

Dowd’s work pointed to the mRNA injections as the culprit since the highest disability rates are found among working age, and therefore the mandated cohorts, who experienced a massive rise in injuries and death. I pointed this out, and my client immediately relaxed.

“I know, I know,” he said. “It is just like the excess mortality. The countries with the highest vaccine uptake have the highest excess mortality.”

I told him about BC’s excess mortality- data which I had to compile myself from the BC gov’ts monthly death numbers- which show at the height of covid we had an 8% excess mortality, and ever since the rollout of the shots, have been oscillating between 20 and 30%. I told him how I sent this data to the MP, MLA, and office of public health, and none of them were interested.

“More people are dying right now than at the height of covid,” I said, “and they don’t have an explanation. Do you remember the news during covid? Cases and Deaths on a daily ticker- you couldn’t escape it, and now they suddenly don’t care about more deaths! No explanation whatsoever. I sent them the birth data too, which showed a baby bump of 1.4% during the lockdowns, but 9 months post rollout the birth rate plummets almost 10% below the 5 year average and it has not come back up!”

“I know. It is insane,” he said. “So I am a physician, and I can tell you all of this is happening. I have seen it. I have 3 women in their 30’s in good health. I’ve given them check ups for years. All three of them had strokes after their shots. Strokes! I had a woman in her 70’s whose cancer had been in remission for 20 years. Suddenly the cancer came back, stage 4, and she died within the month. The only thing that changed was she got her vaccines.”

He went on at some length about a multitude of other patients with sudden health complications. The more he spoke the more his calm demeanor faltered.

I asked him if he had heard about the plasmid DNA and SV(simian virus)40 promoters that
@Kevin_McKernan
, a leader of the human genome project, recently found. [A discovery that has since been acknowledged by Health Canada] I mentioned the speculation that this could be a likely pathway for the surge in sudden cancers being observed.

He told me he was familiar with it, and went into some depth about the plausibility of the plasmid DNA being transcribed into the human genome, and how it could corrupt the cells natural anti-cancer mechanisms, among other things.

I told him I had the pleasure of having
@MakisMD
, an albertan oncologist, on our podcast who told me about the “turbo-cancers” being observed around the world. Dr. Makis informed me that certain cancers don’t occur in young people, historically. Like colon cancer, which takes 40-50 years before emerging, and now they are seeing 20 year olds diagnosed with late stage colon cancer out of the blue.

The physician told me he was well aware. That he followed all of this closely but now wanted to stop.

“I want to bury my head in the sand. It is just too much,” he said. “I am seriously on the verge of having a mental breakdown.”

“Why?” I asked.

His eyes wobbled with tears- this man of calm and measured words, of science and logic, was breaking down in the back of my cab.

“Because I am not allowed to say anything about it, or the government will take my license. I’m being torn apart by this. I am the only provider for my family, and so I have to choose them- but every day I have to face the morality of that decision. What can I do? Seriously, what can I do?”

And he was genuinely asking me, a cab driver, for a solution. As if I knew another way. As if I could help. His sincerity and desperation drove me to tear up, and we were then just two men who knew something terrible was happening, and both felt helpless to change it.

I wanted to tell him to muster courage, to do the right thing. To give him a platitude about what example he would want to set for his children, what he would tell them to do if they were ever in such a bind, but how could I? I have never sacrificed 7 years to study medicine, I don’t have a dependent family, and I risk nothing in my expression but vitriol and a bad tip.

“I don’t know, but speaking out seems like the only way this changes.”

“I envy you,” he said, “keep doing what you are doing, keep talking about this.”

“But it is people like you who need to be heard, I’m just a cabby, I have no authority on the subject.”

“Yet I have the authority, but I cannot speak.”

And that was where we left it, and this story is all I can give.

So I’ll leave you here, to contemplate what our world, our province, has become. Under Bill C-36, our doctors cannot provide their expert opinion. Their experience and education are secondary to political dogmas espoused by bureaucrats. What, I ask, will be the point of a ‘Second Opinion’ when it must be the same prescription as the first? What is science when debate is not allowed, when consensus is stated rather than tested? Are we in less danger when whistleblowers are muzzled? Will the injured be able to find accountability, if wrong doing can never be pointed out or acknowledged?

1000 extra of us British Columbians are dying every month without explanation. Should our health care professionals be allowed to seek the reason why? Without the why, how can they begin to treat the cause? It is no secret that we are short on medical staff, but who would want to practice in an environment such as this?

Around the world politicians are beginning to stand up as they listen to concerned scientists and doctors. Recently the British MP Andrew Bridgen and New Zealand MP Liz Gunn have both made waves with powerful testimony about this very issue. We desperately need this sort of discourse in Canada.

To the vaccine injured, know that you are not alone. That almost daily I hear stories of people or their family members who insist the shots they received caused their malady or expiration. Some I drive to the hospital, some to the cancer clinic. I constantly hear about miscarriages, stillbirths, strokes, myocarditis, pericarditis, blood clots, chronic headaches, neurodegeneration, lethargy, brain fog, skin conditions, seizures, sudden deaths, and cancers – all attributed to the jabs.

Like everyone, I pray this it is not the case, but something is afoot and we deserve to know what. We need our experts and scientific debate if we are to ever know the answers to these questions- even if what they find is uncomfortable.

TheseTruths

IMO a doctor’s dilemma is not just personal, but that if he/she speaks up and loses their license or hospital privileges, etc., then their influence is definitely stunted.

para59r

Can’t accept that. The independents can speak up sure, but all these docs in associations and guilds? What’s an association or guild for but to act with unity. Because the guy at the top of the association or guild says no you can’t say that does not fly. That person is nothing more than a coordinator. Simply coordinate around him. Three or four put him in a corner and tell him no more, that each of them know several more of like mind. They can exercise their numbers as easily as any other association. So fear is not their worry. Perhaps greed, or a real desire to see humanity dwindled down to bare minimums, but they have to know the ethical and moral vacuum this creates. That the loss off ethics and morality will send humanity to depths of depravity that even the cavemen did not experience. Good luck with that. The medical establishment in the aggregate is fast earning the wrath people feel for it. Their silence is complicity and the same goes for all the quasi WEFfers, members of Deep State and the Cabal. It’s no wonder he cries, he’s found he’s little moar than a sniveling coward.

Believes Mark Anthony stood her up in Rome. Refused to meet with her after she took an expensive barge trip up one of the rivers with an all female crew to rekindle the flame and she was disappeared shortly after that. Fascinating life she led. Brave girl by all accounts but her family hailed from Anatolian stock, (which ever it was at the time, Macedonian I believe). What it wasn’t was black. Has no idea why everyone wants to make her black…though blacks did rule for a short period much of Egypt, but that was well before Persia ruled there and then came the Ptolemies who were part of Alexander the Great’s forces and she was of that stock.
