2023·12·09 Joe Biden Didn’t Win Daily Thread

What is it that feeds our battle, yet starves our victory?

Speaker Johnson: A Reminder.

January 6 tapes. A good start…but then nothing.

Were you just hoping we’d be distracted by the first set and not notice?

Are you THAT kind of “Republican”?

Are you Kevin McCarthy lite?

What are you waiting for?

I have a personal interest in this issue.

This Man is Pissed!

And if you aren’t…what the hell is wrong with you?

Is This Our Anthem?

Or at least our song to march to?

I’m sure most of you know I don’t believe in “devolution” or any variant of “we’re really still in charge” and certainly not the ones that come with “They’re waiting for everyone to wake up.”

No, I don’t think the good guys are in charge. But that makes it even more necessary that people wake up.

This might be the Uncle Tom’s Cabin of our age. (Or perhaps the recent trafficking movie was it. Or maybe both.)

Certainly there seem to be a huge number of people who are finally having the light bulb turning on when they hear this song.

Joining The Herd Of Lemmings

I’ve had cause to consider a few things. Maybe we’re going about it the wrong way, and we need to ditch Trump

Yeah, NO

Trump all the way! Why? Because being hated by the people who hate him is a sign of impeccable character, that’s why.

The haters can go fuck themselves with rusty twelve gauge bore brushes. I’d prefer ten gauge but that’s kind of scarce, so…I’m willing to compromise.

The RINO’s Dilemma

The RINOs who who have burrowed in and taken over most GOP organizations, from the state down to local organizations, have quite a dilemma on their hands, and most of them have their heads too far up their asses to realize it.

OK, I’m not talking about the liberal in a Republican area, who knows they’re in the wrong party, but is there because it’s the only game in their town; they hope to capture a nomination someday, at which point they’re guaranteed to be elected…otherwise, they never will be. These people are a hazard in any heavily conservative area.

No, I’m talking about the guys who are a little bit conservative and want to do some good by going into politics, and they’re in a closely matched area, closely enough that they can join the party they are most aligned with and still have a chance. They think the Democrats…particularly the ones who end up running for office…are nuts.

They don’t think much better of the Deplorable types, either. A bunch of bumpkins whose hearts are in the right place, mostly…OK a bit extreme. But they think Deplorables can’t understand that first you have to get elected, then work within the system to change things…a slow process. They genuinely want many of the things Deplorables want…just not as much. The government is spending too much. Or they need to spend money on highways instead of welfare for illegal immigrants. But they want to work within the system to get these things done.

Or maybe they think things are pretty close to ideal right now, and they want to nail it in place.

The problem is, that means they don’t stand for anything in particular. And it shows. They’re about as unappetizing to the electorate as a puddle of dog vomit. The folks in the middle, who they think they are appealing to because they themselves are not extreme, would honestly prefer a clear-spoken radical to someone who qualifies everything they say to the point where they sound like they don’t believe anything at all.

The problem these “Mild RINOs” have, is they just can’t see that. And the reason they just can’t see that, is their entire sense of self-worth is tied up in not seeing that. In their minds, they’ve worked tirelessly for their party, to keep those crazy Democrats out…only to have to constantly fight with a small number of crazy Republicans–who are only liabilities if they end up as candidates. They’ve fought the good fight, and if they can just find the right candidate, someone with some charisma, they might stop the crazies…without being too beholden to the OTHER crazies. In the meantime it’s not working. What’s a responsible guy in politics to do?

They simply cannot understand that the Republicans can’t succeed as the party of nothing in particular. Not really in the past, and certainly not today when people are starting to realize that no matter what they do in the voting booth, the country is still about to fly off a precipice. If they did see it, they’d suddenly have two choices: Go away and let the GOP succeed, or stay and fight. But “go away” isn’t really an option, because what’s the point of having a party now owned by the crazies, win?

Well, they have a dilemma…and WE, therefore have a problem. And we would have that problem even IF they realized that they had a problem…that they were the problem.

No one ever thinks they are the bad guy. Even Epstein probably thought he was the good guy. Right up to the moment where he didn’t kill himself.

So if you ever wonder why these unappetizing dufuses cling on even when their fingernails are being left behind…that’s why. They don’t understand no one wants them, and can’t imagine that no one should want them. And oftentimes their greatest pride is in all the hard work they’ve done for the party. They’re not going to give that up; it’d be psychological suicide.

If you’ve worked with these people, there’s a good chance you like them and consider some of them your friends. But even if so…we’re going to have to give them a good, hard shove. Because America is more important than those milquetoasts’ egos.

Justice Must Be Done

The prior election must be acknowledged as fraudulent, and steps must be taken to prosecute the fraudsters and restore integrity to the system.

Nothing else matters at this point. Talking about trying again in 2022 or 2024 is hopeless otherwise. Which is not to say one must never talk about this, but rather that one must account for this in ones planning; if fixing the fraud is not part of the plan, you have no plan.

OK now for the fine print.

This is the WQTH Daily Thread. You know the drill. There’s no Poltical correctness, but civility is a requirement. There are Important Guidelines,  here, with an addendum on 20191110.

We have a new board – called The U Tree – where people can take each other to the woodshed without fear of censorship or moderation.

And remember Wheatie’s Rules:

1. No food fights
2. No running with scissors.
3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.
4. Zeroth rule of gun safety: Don’t let the government get your guns.
5. Rule one of gun safety: The gun is always loaded.
5a. If you actually want the gun to be loaded, like because you’re checking out a bump in the night, then it’s empty.
6. Rule two of gun safety: Never point the gun at anything you’re not willing to destroy.
7. Rule three: Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire.
8. Rule the fourth: Be sure of your target and what is behind it.

(Hmm a few extras seem to have crept in.)

Spot (i.e., paper) Prices

Last week:

Gold $2,072.00
Silver $25.52
Platinum $944.00
Palladium $1026.00
Rhodium $4,800.00

This week, 3PM Mountain Time, markets have closed for the weekend.

Gold $2,005.50
Silver $23.07
Platinum $927.00
Palladium $970.00
Rhodium $4,950.00

Gold went on a really wild ride this week. It broke through $2100 in early trading Monday, before closing down that day. It seemed to be settling in at $2,025 or so but today it took almost a $24 hit. That’s not unusual for Fridays. If you have a big enough position that you don’t get eaten alive on the spread (which for us mortals is a lot more than the dollar an ounce that Kitco indicates), you could probably make money just by selling gold early each Friday and then buying it back late in the day. Sometimes you’d lose, but usually you’d win.

Palladium continues its long term drop; while rhodium seems to have found a new level…quite a bit lower than $30K. Silver took a large hit (almost 10 percent) this week.

Another Voice On Rocketry and Orbits

A while ago I did a series on orbital mechanics. I just discovered this channel on YouTube where the difference between “in space” and “in orbit” are explained; why “zero g” or “freefall” or “microgravity” is not the same as “no gravity” and so on. His visuals make a lot of things I tried to get at, very clear.

His channel has a lot of other material, too, largely on current technology in rocketry. (I know he reminded me of a few things I had forgotten over the last 30 years.) Highly recommended to anyone with an interest in the topic.

Fuck Joe B*d*n

Due to complaints about foul language, I’ve censored the most objectionable word in the title of this section.

B*d*n, you don’t even get ONE scoop of ice cream today.

(Please post this somewhere permanent, as it will continue to be true; the SOB will never deserve a scoop.)

China is in the White House, because Joe Biden is in the White House, and Joe Biden is identically equal to China. China is Asshoe. Therefore, Joe Biden is Asshoe.

Have they ever been hunting?

Send one of these 2nd Amendment haters into the woods with 30 rounds and have them try to hit something.

Guy avoids using pronouns by calling a transgender co-worker “my esteemed colleague,” thereby hacking civil rights law and HR tyranny.

…and the trans person feels “unsafe” as a result. To me, “unsafe” is when your life is being threatened or a severe storm is raging. I had not connected it to pronoun usage or the lack thereof. 🤔

The rest of it:

I even spoke to HR about this but they said they can’t do

anything because “my esteemed colleague” is apparently not

discriminatory.

It’s genuinely uncomfortable working with him because

of this. It really gives me the creeps and makes me feel

Unfortunately, those rules exist, to protect snowflake politicians from truth AND citizens NOT hearing truth.

YOUR HONOR sounds like a good “pronoun” to me. Especially to be adopted at the moment of a pronoun fight with a lying “she/her”.

Aubergine

Demons REALLY want you to call them forth. Using their “preferred” name or pronoun affirms them.

Nobody sane calls someone a pronoun to their face. It’s not how the English language works. But a demon enjoys forcing people to affirm it.

Guys, I’m not kidding about this. It may sound crazy, but any work-around to avoid doing it is acceptable. Affirming the demons only makes them stronger.

I have known people who associate themselves with the occult, and this is a common practice with them.

Cuppa Covfefe

That’s where the “say his name” cr@p came from….

Aubergine

Yep.

TheseTruths

We do use pronouns to people’s faces in situations like these:

“Are you coming with us?”
I don’t know if this trans person wants to change the second person you/your pronouns.

At work, if someone asks if you know where the trans person is, and the trans person can hear this, you might say:
“He (or she) just went into the break room.”
This particular trans wants to force people to use the pronoun of their choice instead of the correct one. I think “My esteemed colleague went to the break room” works very well.

Aubergine

I think it works fine, too.

The “changing of the second person pronoun” is a crazy ask, not acceptable in the English language, either.

“Are he (she) (dipshit) coming with us?”

It makes no sense.

I think “it just went into the break room” makes the most sense in plain English!

Cuppa Covfefe

If you purposely (or accidentally) use the “wrong” pronoun, you could well say “My (es)teeming colleague…..”…..

For indeed, they would be steaming 😆

(Yep, a steaming load of 💩 )…..

Aubergine

Lol!

Aubergine

Well, yes, that’s what I did. I substituted for “you.”

If you look at the “pronoun shift” these people are asking for, it’s generally not a substitute for you, but for he/she.

So to call them what they want, it would be “are he/she/dipshit coming with us?” to their face. That’s the only time in actually English when you use a pronoun to address someone directly.

Please

Couldn’t a case be made by the normie from his point of view being uncomfortable and unsafe working next to a potentially dangerous mental case tranny who’s easily triggered? Proof being recent tranny mass shooting attacks.

The Reckoning Begins…

Are gold prices and interest rates joined at the hip? Based on recent market action, it would appear the answer is: yes.

A major rally in gold is now underway. Gold moved from $1,831 per ounce on Oct. 6 to $2,091 per ounce on Dec. 1, a 14.1% rally in just eight weeks and a new all-time high price for gold.

Gold has pulled back to $2,037 as of today, but that’s not surprising given its previous surge. Like every other asset, gold can sometimes get ahead of itself and experience a pullback. Importantly, it’s still holding firm above $2,000.

This rally correlated almost perfectly with the rally in 10-year Treasury notes that occurred at the same time. Treasury note rates plunged from 5.00% on Oct. 19 to 4.17% as of today. That 83-basis point drop may seem small but it’s not.

That’s like an earthquake in the world of Treasury notes. As explained below, market signs indicate that these dual rallies and close correlations will continue for months to come.

This dual rally gives investors a double-barreled opportunity to make huge gains.

DVO1: A Quirk of Bond Math

As interest rates drop, the market value of Treasury notes goes up. That’s bond math 101. Yet there’s a quirk in the bond math that many investors (and even financial advisers) don’t appreciate.

When interest rates drop, bond prices go up. But the rate at which they go up relative to each drop in rates (measured in basis points or 0.01%) isn’t constant.

The dollar value of the capital gain for each basis point drop in rates rises as interest rates hit lower levels. (The technical name for this is DVO1 for “dollar value of one basis point.” You don’t need to be expert on this; it’s just useful to understand the concept).

Put differently, if interest rates drop from 7.0% to 6.5%, notes have a capital gain. If rates drop from 4.0% to 3.5%, they also have a capital gain. In both cases, the rate drop is 0.50%. But the capital gain in the second case is materially larger than in the first case.

Right now, we’re in that zone where rates are low and going lower, which means the capital gains are getting larger. That’s a big win for investors on a security with almost no credit risk.

What Explains the Gold Rally?

What accounts for the rally in gold prices? There are numerous factors that affect the gold price, but certain factors dominate at certain times. Right now, the key factor is interest rates. Rates are going down at a rapid pace and gold is going up in a kind of synchronicity. Why?

The simplest explanation for the correlation is that Treasury notes and gold are both high-quality assets that compete for investor allocations. Gold does not have a yield (although it can produce significant capital gains).

When yields on Treasuries drop, the zero yield on gold is relatively more attractive compared with the note yield and gold prices start to rally.

The key questions for investors are: Will rates continue to drop? And will gold continue to rally in sync with falling rates?

To forecast rates, we have to look at economic fundamentals. (By the way, the Federal Reserve is almost irrelevant for this purpose. The Fed controls the short end of the yield curve only and has almost no impact on longer-term rates including the 10-year Treasury note rate we are considering here.)

One conundrum of recent U.S. economic performance is that GDP has remained robust while signs of a recession and possible a financial crisis keep accumulating.

The Trend Isn’t the Economy’s Friend

U.S. GDP was 2.2% in the first quarter of 2023, 2.1% in the second quarter and a strong 4.9% in the third quarter. The best estimate for fourth-quarter growth from the Atlanta Fed is currently 1.2%, a substantial drop from the third quarter.

https://ads.agorafinancial.com/www/delivery/lg.php?bannerid=0&campaignid=0&zoneid=323&loc=https%3A%2F%2Fdailyreckoning.com%2Fthe-reckoning-begins%2F&cb=913b6891cd

If that Q4 figure holds, growth for the entire year of 2023 will come in around 2.5%. That’s not too shabby, and it’s slightly better than the 2.2% average annual growth from 2009–2019 in the 10-year period between the global financial crisis and the pandemic.

In any case, it’s a far cry from a recession.

Still, a focus on full-year growth of around 2.5% ignores the trend. When growth goes from 4.9% in the third quarter to 1.2% in the fourth quarter, something extreme happened. It’s almost certainly the case that consumers slammed on the brakes in October.

Recession signs are real and growing worse. These include credit contraction, rising bad debts, increasing jobless claims, collapsing commercial real estate markets, contracting world trade, inverted yield curves and many other reliable technical indicators.

How can the economy be headed into recession after such strong growth recently?

The Credit Crunch Reckoning Begins

The riddle is solved by the fact that the economy has been propped up by the consumer. That explains the growth. But the consumer has been on a non-sustainable path. That explains the warning signs.

The consumer came out of the pandemic with a head of steam provided by handouts from Trump ($1,800 per adult), and Biden (also about $1,400 per adult) between April 2020 and March 2021. That was supplemented by $900 billion of Paycheck Protection Program loans, which were forgiven one year later.

Student loan payments were suspended from 2020–2023. The Federal Reserve held interest rates at zero from 2020–2022. Then the misnamed Inflation Reduction Act of August 2022 handed $1 trillion of taxpayer money to Green New Scam businesses and other pet projects.

With that money, Americans were able to pay down credit card balances and build up savings. It was a powerful double-dose of fiscal and monetary stimulus. Much of this operates with a lag so the growth momentum carried over into 2023.

Now it’s all gone. Short-term interest rates are over 5%. Mortgage rates are over 7%. Student loan repayments have started again. There are no more pandemic handouts. Americans’ savings are depleted, and their credit cards are tapped out.

Now the reckoning begins. In fact, the recession may already be here.

Bad Omens

Interest rates do not typically peak at the start of a recession; they peak somewhat after the recession begins. Businesses see revenues decline and turn to lines of credit to help with cash flow.

Only later, when unemployment goes up and credit losses accumulate, do banks rein in credit and then interest rates start to decline. We may already be at that stage. The fact that interest rates are already in sharp decline suggests the recession has already begun.

The importance of this for investors is that interest rate declines have much further to go (probably down to the level of 2% or lower over the next six months), which means gold prices have further to rise (perhaps to the $2,300 per ounce level or higher).

With both trends in place and a positive feedback loop between them, this is a once-in-a-decade opportunity for investors.

It really doesn’t get much better than that!

scott467

“The consumer came out of the pandemic with a head of steam provided by handouts from Trump ($1,800 per adult), and Biden (also about $1,400 per adult) between April 2020 and March 2021.”

_________

The math on this never adds up, not even close, but the narrative is all that ever matters.

So… $3,200 per adult.

This was supposedly enough to “pay down credit card balances and build up savings”. Oh, and to LIVE on, for a year or more, while tyranny of covid shut down the economy of the whole planet for a year.

Let’s see how those numbers work out… “the average consumer” has $6,088 of credit card debt.

And the average monthly expenses in the U.S. are:

The average monthly expenses for a family of four range from $7,875 to $9,168 (depending on the ages of your kids). For single folks, the average monthly expenses are $4,337.For married couples with no kids, monthly expenses are $7,111So $7,875 + $9,168 = $17,043 ÷ 2 = $8,521 ave for a family of four, or $2,130 per person

Married couple: $7,111 ÷ 2 = $3,556

$2,130 + $3,556 + $4,337 = $10,023 ÷ 3 = $3,341 as a rough estimate average per person in the U.S., per month.

And between Trump and Biden, the adults only (and certainly not all of them) received a total of $3,200.

$3,200 ÷ 12 months = $267 per month, for 12 months.

But the average American requires $3,341 per month. Plus however much was needed to “pay down credit card balances” ($300/month?) and “build up savings” ($300/month?).

So if they were only paying $300/month on the credit cards, and only building up savings by $300/month, and they need $3,341 just to tread water on their living expenses, that’s $3,941 per month, or a total of $47,292 (after taxes) over 12 months.

That’s the bare minimum that was needed to survive and pay off a little credit card debt and build up a little savings.

And in order to accomplish this little economic fantasy narrative, the People received a total of $3,200… in two lump sums, between two different administrations.

I’m no math wizard, but my calculator does have fresh batteries, so I have that goin’ for me. Best case scenario, it seems like the People are coming up about $44,092 short.

People like Jim Rickards and Chevy Chase can find that much (or more) laying around the house in uncashed checks.

.

.

But I have a funny feeling that most regular people, can’t.

$3,200 doesn’t even cover ONE month, not even if zero is used to pay down credit cards or build up savings.

I’d like to see any of the people peddling this fantasy try to live on $267 per month.

Show us how it’s done, Jimmy.

Thank you.
And the “bare minimums” don’t begin to address things like the increased premiums on all types of insurance; increased taxes of all types; having an “emergency fund”; and so on.

Aubergine

Yeah, I have never understood how ANYONE believes the lie that the “stimulus” helped anything at all. That amount of money is a drop in almost any household budget I’ve ever seen.

Good math, good job.

pgroup2

Rents were suspended. IIRC.

And car repos were very much the growth industry.

kalbokalbs

Never followed, but read headlines of rent suspended.

Were suspended rents cancelled out right? Feds paid the rent or renter ultimately paid (with or without Fed money).

pgroup2

Suspended AFAIK.

Aubergine

Well, yeah. It paid for some stuff. But unless you live in a tent, ride the bus, and have no utility bills at all, pifflesquit (great word!), is exactly right!

pgroup2

We were never 100% unemployed.

Most people had jobs or sources of income.

________________

Gold is at $2,005/oz. If he predicts it could (‘perhaps’) go to $2,300/oz, that’s a little less than 15% increase from here.

The dollar is being debased at a rate of about 14% per year. So if gold manages to go up 15% we’re barely treading water.

If a 15% return is ‘perhaps’ in the cards, then we might want a faster horse to stay ahead of inflation / debasement of the currency.

This is the whole reason Michael Saylor (founder of MicroStrategy) invested his company’s treasury in Bitcoin. Holding cash was like holding a melting ice cube, losing 14% per year, compounded annually. At the time (2020, if I remember correctly), interest rates were practically zero, so he borrowed $1 billion (again, if I remember correctly) and invested it in Bitcoin, along with his own company’s cash holdings.

Since then, depending on market circumstances, he has issued corporate bonds to raise cash, sold additional shares of MSTR to raise cash, borrowed more money at low rates, whatever makes the most sense at the time, to buy more Bitcoin.

MicroStrategy now has over 174,000 Bitcoin, with over $2 billion in unrealized profit. Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (ticker: GBTC) has over 600,000 Bitcoin. Satoshi Nakamoto (the pseudonym of the supposedly anonymous inventor of Bitcoin) has 1 million Bitcoin that have never moved from his wallet since 2009.

There will only ever be 21 million Bitcoin mined. 19 million have been mined so far, and the amount that can be mined is cut in half every four years, so the last Bitcoin won’t be mined for about 100 years from now. The vast majority that will ever be mined have already been mined, and are in circulation now.

It is estimated, based on known losses of large quantities and aggregate amounts of smaller quantities, that at least 4 million Bitcoin have been ‘lost’, meaning that of the 19 million mined so far, only 15 million still exist.

8 billion people in the world. 15 million Bitcoin. That works out to 0.001875 Bitcoin per person.

Except Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), Michael Saylor (MicroStrategy, MSTR) and Satoshi Nakamoto have 1,774,000 of the 15 million, and they’re not selling. So the actual available supply is closer to 13 million Bitcoin, at least until Michael Saylor buys another $600 million worth, like he did again last month.

Jim Rickards mentions a 14% rally in gold over the past eight weeks, and is predicting that gold will ‘perhaps’ be up 15% this coming year, making this a ‘once-in-a-decade opportunity for investors‘.

If 15% is a once-in-a-decade opportunity, then what kind of opportunity is Bitcoin?

Bitcoin was at $15K earlier this year, it’s at $44K right now. That’s up almost 200%. Bitcoin is up 15% over the last eight days.

Cleanspark (ticker: CLSK), one of the best publicly traded Bitcoin miners, is up about 100% in the last eight days.

Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (ticker: GBTC) is up 15% in the past eight days.

MicroStrategy (ticker: MSTR) is up 20% in the last eight days.

The Bitcoin bull run hasn’t even begun yet. It’s still early in the 4-year cycle.

The Blackrock, Fidelity, VanEck, Ark Invest (and at least nine more) Bitcoin (spot price) ETFs probably won’t be approved until January 2024. The companies sponsoring these ETFs have trillions of dollars of assets (combined) under management.

The Bitcoin halving doesn’t take place until April 2024, when the amount of Bitcoin that can be mined is cut in half (this halving is programmed into Bitcoin and happens every 4 years).

So what happens when all of these Bitcoin spot price ETFs are approved in January, giving Bitcoin the official Wall Street ‘Good Housekeeping’ seal of approval?

Are they gonna do like William Devane, and buy gold? There have been gold ETFs for nearly 20 years now. If Blackrock’s and Fidelity’s clientele have wanted to buy gold, they could get it any time, for the past two decades.

What they haven’t been able to do, is buy Bitcoin. Not as an ETF that accommodates all of the accounting regulations and infrastructure of traditional finance.

What happens in April, when the halving occurs, when the Bitcoin supply is cut in half?

What must happen, if demand remains constant, but supply is cut in half?

Once the Bitcoin ETFs are approved, are these fund managers (Blackrock, Fidelity, VanEck, etc.) going to be recommending to their clients to allocate to Bitcoin? That’s the whole reason for creating the ETFs, isn’t it? Are retail and institutional investors, pension funds, etc., going to be buying Bitcoin via these newly available ETFs?

What happens if demand is going up, just when the supply is cut in half?

If the price of gold (or silver) increases substantially, miners are incentivized to invest more resources in exploration for more gold, or to reopen mines that were not commercially viable at under $2,000/oz but make economic sense at $2,300+ per ounce. When demand increases, and price rises, supply will increase to meet the increased demand.

With the possible exception of rare art, Bitcoin is the only asset on earth with a fixed supply that cannot be increased when demand increases.

There are no guarantees of course, I’m just an ape with a keyboard, observing that there are some major positive events coming in the near future for Bitcoin, which will officially become a new asset class on Wall Street when the Bitcoin spot-price ETFs are approved.

Retail investors are buying the Bitcoin proxies (MSTR, GBTC and Bitcoin mining companies) now, and institutions are buying proxies and the Bitcoin Futures ETF (approved in late 2021) to front-run these known upcoming events.

We can be absolutely certain Jim Rickards knows all of this, while he recommends people to buy gold and hope for a 15% return, in a world where the currency is being debased at 14% per year.

It would be interesting to know how many of the professional gold bugs are selling their followers precious metals, while they sock away as much Bitcoin and/or Bitcoin proxies as they can, for themselves.

Standard fare from a bond/commodity trader with intent to lead others in a direction that benefits himself.

The truth is nobody knows where this is going to go because the 2024 election or lack thereof has not occurred yet. WEF/globalists are still playing cards while Rome burns and BRICS gets stronger.

The Fed knows if they will continue the money supply shrinkage at the present rate or change it. The war pigs in government know if they are going to send another $60 B to Ukraine or start a war over Taiwan or not. Consumers have been out of the mix for over a year, so acting like that has just now started is disingenuous. The work force shrinkage continues and more people have part time jobs than ever.

The purpose of part-time is to avoid regs that apply to full-time.

I think I read just yesterday that Ronna had a couple more planned with CNN. Guess not.

That CNN move was the last straw. If she didn’t realize how bad that was going to look for her…..

A few years ago, I had a powerful recurring dream that has shaped the way I think about regrets. I was 37 at the time. I had the dream around 4 times in the span of six weeks.

In the dream, I awake in my 19 year old self. It was a good time. I was in excellent shape. I had no debt. I was teaching bible studies and dating my now wife, Emily.

But I had all the knowledge of my 37 year old self.
I knew all my mistakes…

Accumulating student debt, delaying children, putting off seminary, aligning myself with the wrong churches, not buying that stock, wasting money on dumb stuff, letting my health slip, etc.

And now I could avoid it all for my family and give us an even brighter future.
Or could I?

In my dream, I realized I could do it for a family but not the family I have now.

If we got married sooner and immediately had kids, it wouldn’t be the kids we have now.

A different sperm would find its way to a different ovum and a different child would be conceived.

No doubt we would love that child but it wouldn’t be our first born son, Hudson. And we wouldn’t have Athanasius, Caedmon, Nicaea, etc either. To have them, I would have to perfectly recreate my life. And that’s where this dream becomes a nightmare.

Every little decision. Every little word spoken. Every little… and big mistake. I would have to recreate them all to have the family I now love. At this point, fear would overwhelm and I’d usually wake up.

This dream freed me from the tyranny of regrets.

Many mistakes were made. Many sins were committed. I do regret things in my past but I’ve also repent of those sins. Christ has forgiven me.

And somehow Christ has worked through all those things, both good and bad, to give me the blessed life I have now.

I can’t change the past and if I could I’d still screw things up.

So I simply repent of sin and trust in God’s perfect providence.

These days I mostly enjoy the present and dream about the future. God is good.

Reliving our past sins is definitely difficult to deal with. For myself I always remember sins with regrets. But on the other hand, God used it to turn me into who I am today.
Totally agree with the children would be different perspective.

I was struck by those unusual names too, thinking only Nicaea was possibly a girl.

In genealogy, some generations past, there were “conventions” applied, depending on one’s culture in part, that could assist in compiling, via educated guesses, some of the likely forebears. One such naming “convention” went like this, iirc:

1st son–after father
2nd son–after father’s father
3rd son–after mother’s father
1st daughter–after mother
2nd daughter–after father’s mother
3rd daughter–after mother’s mother

Smaller communities could thus have multiple people w/ the same name. The local conventions of applying “jr” or “II” or “III” might not be like we would expect. The oldest “John Stoddard” (to use a name from my family tree from the 1600-1800’s) might have no suffix but the youngest in town might be called “jr” yet not necessarily the oldest JS’s son. It might also be based on when someone arrived to the community. Keeping track of multiple people with the same name from old records can thus be quite challenging & helped when other relations are also named in a document along with dates & places of birth or recent origin, like the town from which the current JS moved, for example.

From my aunt’s work on our family history the first three generations of our direct ancestor Stoddards in America all were named JS…

https://archive.org/details/johnstoddardofwe00patt/mode/2up

Valerie Curren

Amazing…and confusing. In the church I attended as an adolescent there were 2 brothers both named after their father. We called one Edward & the other Eddie.

There were also government assistance clients in the computer system in Oklahoma who had multiple kids named after the same father with different mothers, sometimes only a few months apart in age–ugh! I think one guy had 3 different sons, his name junior, w/ 3 different women :wpds_shock:

I’m a big fan of giving kids their own unique name, but often passing down family names in the middle name.

I have a cousin whose husband is Jay H. VI so of course his firstborn son is Jay H. VII, & I can understand not wanting to break such a long standing naming chain. Given that this son is severely autistic it’s unlikely that JH VIII will arrive, but that’s in God’s hands…

We have an Ellsworth tradition in our family. Both my husband’s & my fathers & their grandfathers were named William Ellsworth. My husband also has the Ellsworth middle name, as does our first son, Nathaniel, & now our daughter’s first child, Lillian Ellsworth.

In fact when I was pregnant with Nathaniel Ellsworth my husband & father were photographed in front of the Ellsworth, MI welcome sign 🙂

After doing some genealogical digging on my husband’s behalf we discovered some of his ancestry going back a few generations, he didn’t even know Any of his dad’s forebears’ names prior to my searches.

So far, in that Curren line we have multi-generations of the unbroken Ellsworth middle name. If Nathaniel ever has a son we hope he will choose to pass along the Ellsworth to keep the line going.

Here are the known Curren Ellsworths in the unbroken line, thus far:

William Ellsworth, 1860’s
Clarence Ellsworth, 1880’s
William Ellsworth, 1910’s
Michael Ellsworth, 1960’s
Nathaniel Ellsworth, 1990’s

On my side Ellsworths are broken generationally & w/ different surnames &/or different middle names, & even jumping sex at the last installment:

William Ellsworth, 1860’s
son, 1900’s
William Ellsworth, 1930’s
daughter, 1960’s
Nathaniel Ellsworth, 1990’s
great granddaughter, via WE 1930’s daughter, 2020’s

Yes, interesting names. I had not heard of Nicaea as a name, either, but sometimes people are baptized in the name of a saint, and I have known of one person named Athanasius. Not Caedmon, though.

Barb Meier

From Britannica. https://www.britannica.com/biography/Caedmon

Caedmon, (flourished 658–680), first Old English Christian poet, whose fragmentary hymn to the creation remains a symbol of the adaptation of the aristocratic-heroic Anglo-Saxon verse tradition to the expression of Christian themes. His story is known from Bede’s Ecclesiastical History of the English People, which tells how Caedmon, an illiterate herdsman, retired from company one night in shame because he could not comply with the demand made of each guest to sing. Then in a dream a stranger appeared commanding him to sing of “the beginning of things,” and the herdsman found himself uttering “verses which he had never heard.” When Caedmon awoke he related his dream to the farm bailiff under whom he worked and was conducted by him to the monastery at Streaneshalch (now called Whitby). The abbess St. Hilda believed that Caedmon was divinely inspired and, to test his powers, proposed that he should render into verse a portion of sacred history, which the monks explained. By the following morning he had fulfilled the task. At the request of the abbess he became an inmate of the monastery. Throughout the remainder of his life his more learned brethren expounded Scripture to him, and all that he heard he reproduced in vernacular poetry. All of his poetry was on sacred themes, and its unvarying aim was to turn men from sin to righteousness. In spite of all the poetic renderings that Caedmon supposedly made, however, it is only the original dream hymn of nine historically precious, but poetically uninspired, lines that can be attributed to him with confidence. The hymn—extant in 17 manuscripts, some in the poet’s Northumbrian dialect, some in other Old English dialects—set the pattern for almost the whole art of Anglo-Saxon verse.”

Perhaps Ursa Minor Beta?

(from HHGTTG):

The rich and sunny planet Ursa Minor Beta has the quite peculiar property that most of its surface consists of subtropic coastline. Even more peculiar, on this world it’s always Saturday afternoon, just right before the beach bars close. Light City, the only city on Ursa Minor Beta, which can only be reached by plane, is the very place where the editorial offices of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy reside.

A further anomaly in Light City is that the Lalamatine district, just behind the beach, is the only place on the planet not to enjoy a perpetual Saturday afternoon. Instead it is always early evening, with cooling breezes – this is where the nightclubs are located.

The novel The Restaurant at the End of the Universe states that “Ursa Minor Beta is, some say, one of the most appalling places in the known Universe.”

“Although it is excruciatingly rich, horrifyingly sunny and more full of wonderfully exciting people than a pomegranate is of pips, it can hardly be insignificant that when a recent edition of Playbeing Magazine headlined an article with the words, ‘When you are tired of Ursa Minor Beta you are tired of life’, the suicide rate there quadrupled overnight.”

TheseTruths

…kind of “Mars” it… 😆

You reminded me of this story with a photo of the Sun with a big hole in it.

https://www.breitbart.com/science/2023/12/09/scientists-unprecedented-dark-hole-on-sun-emitting-unusually-fast-radiation-toward-earth/

The author, Olivia Rondeau, attributes the photo to NASA. So, I went to NASA’s site to try and verify the photo but did not find it by searching there.

Next, I saved a copy of the photo and used Bing to find that photo elsewhere. I don’t find the exact photo at NASA, but found something similar (without stars in the black opening from 1993 that goes to a NASA URL).

Is the Breitbart photo attributed to NASA real or not? It seems weird to me because I thought the Sun would be thicker and have a central core of hot stuff. I did not expect any holes going all the way through it.

I just had this conversation with my son the other day.

I have childhood abuse issues, which led to many, many mistakes, sins, and outright stupid decisions as I navigated my early life.

BUT, I would not change ONE THING.

Not the abuse, not the mistakes, none of it. Because I love my life, my children, all of it. It made me who I am today. And I have been forgiven for my sins. They are the past.

Philippians 3:13-14

13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,

14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Thank you for this.
Dr. Martin specifically references the 1992 paper by RALPH BARIC regarding his experiments to induce CARDIOMYOPATHY / MYOCARDITIS in lab rabbits. These experiments and the 1992 paper that Baric co-authored was presented and discussed on this board:

https://academic.oup.com/jid/article/166/5/978/900295
The Journal of Infectious Diseases 1992;166:978-85
“An Experimental Model for Dilated Cardiomyopathy after Rabbit Coronavirus Infection”
Ralph Baric, et el.
(scroll down the linked page above to “PDF” to download the paper)
Yours Truly: This paper by Baric, the result of experiments at his lab at UNC-Chapel Hill (partly funded by NIH grant # AI-23946), reports the findings of induced DCM (Dilated Cardiomyopathy) and CHF (Congestive Heart Failure) from RbCV (Rabbit Coronavirus) injected into lab rabbits.
DCM is the “early-stage” presentation of the cardiomyopathy; CHF is the “later-stage” presentation. In the DCM “early-stage”, both biventricular dilation and hypertrophy (thickening of the heart muscle) are present.
The paper states clearly that “The etiologic agent for this disease [CHF] is an enveloped RNA virus,…”
But here’s the kicker, at the very end of the paper:
Studies in this laboratory and others demonstrate that viral infection of the heart results in degeneration and necrosis of myocytes, myocarditis, and CHF [15,17,18,34]…Such findings support the theory that viral infection of the heart may lead to dilated cardiomyopathy in humans.” (bolding mine)

Recall that the COVID-19 “vaccines” INDUCE A CONTINUOUS STATE OF INFLAMMATION / “FAKE COVID-19 INFECTION” IN THE BODY OF THE “VACCINE” RECIPIENT; THE BODY IS FORCED TO MAKE A CONTINUOUS LARGE SUPPLY OF IMMUNE SYSTEM “FIGHTER CELLS” TO WARD OFF THIS “FAKE INFECTION”; AND THAT THE COVID-19 “VACCINES” INCREMENTALLY DAMAGE / DESTROY THE IMMUNE SYSTEM OF THE “VACCINE” RECIPIENT.

Here’s a “take away” graph from the 1992 Baric paper:
comment image

For further reference regarding how the COVID-19 “vaccines” induce myocarditis, please see:
https://doi.org/10.7759/cureus.27883
September, 2022
“Catecholamines Are the Key Trigger of COVID-19 mRNA Vaccine-Induced Myocarditis: A Compelling Hypothesis Supported by Epidemiological, Anatomopathological, Molecular, and Physiological Findings”
Flavio A. Cadegiani
Yours Truly: Catecholamines work as neurotransmitters and hormones within the body. They help to govern things like heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, muscle strength, and mental alertness. The above paper basically hypothesizes that the COVID-19 “vaccines” induce a “hypercatecholaminergic state” that triggers myocarditis.

NOW, here’s the “$64,000 question”:
Are the elements that induced the myocarditis / DCM / CHF in the Baric lab rabbits back in 1992 PRESENT IN THE mRNA OF THE COVID-19 VIRUS ITSELF, IN ADDITION TO BEING PRESENT IN THE COVID-19 “VACCINES?”

Last edited 1 year ago by PAVACA
PAVACA

By the way, Yours Truly IS NOT saying that ONLY the COVID-19 “vaccines” cause cardio problems like DCM / CHF. There are many OTHER reasons why these occur. BUT, these other reasons are usually the results of things like NATURALLY-occurring issues (coronary artery disease; blood pressure problems; among others); GENETIC ISSUES that are within the body of the person affected; senescence (being quite old); etc.
HOWEVER, the COVID-19 “vaccines” (and perhaps the COVID-19 virus itself) contain elements that INDUCE / ENGENDER cardio problems in the “vaccine” recipient’s body THAT WOULD OTHERWISE HAVE OCCURRED DUE TO THE ITEMS LISTED ABOVE.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Yes that is how to fix the problem. Had to resort to the foil many times 🙂

Oh they love high spaces what better way then the countertop 🙂 Mine like the dining room table we seldom use. I see little pow prints on the stove after we are gone.
By the way love red cats had 4 in the past. 🙂

Aubergine

We made a two-shelf climbing wall that leads to a hammock about six feet above the floor. That is my cat’s favorite place in the world.

singingsoul1

Mine have a big climbing tree to watch the birds on the bird feeder.

Aubergine

I actually fenced a small part of my yard so my guy can be outside some. He likes to watch the birds out there, too. He chirps at them.

That is great for them 🙂
My cats have a run outside where they can go out from the basement window. All nice and safe . Animals are wonderful 🙂

Barkerjim t hank you for sharing this article 🙂
Concerning fats that is why we only use butter, Ghee, olive oil duck fat for red cabbage and pork if needed.
I use wheat sparingly Einkorn or rye and other grains all organically grown and no GMO. I have a mill to mill my own grains. My husband likes his oatmeal and has a flaker to make his own from seeds. All organic and no GMO.
Meats all organic grass fed.
Eating like this is not more expensive but then we are only two people.
I have seen health benefits for my husband who is diabetic and some heart issues. His kidney functions are almost normal.Took a long time to get him leave old habits. He began with bad habits being a kid of a Baker.
By the way in Europe there are strict rules about food to protect the population.

Personal note 🙂
My husband signed a 5 year adjunct contract with the University beginning an 2025.
He will be going on 87 years old when the contract expire.
We are laughing normally they only extent a 3 year contract. 😅
I think he will teach until he dies. He loves being busy and being among young people teaching. His father was the same worked up to a year before he past away.
Work ethic is so ingrained in the older generation one cannot change it.

No one believe he is as old as he is. He is slim still has hair and is not all white. He walks everyday 2 miles with the dog. He cannot sit still and has to do something. Loves to shop loves to drive. Of course I am the cook and keep him going 🙂 No poison food in our house allowed.

Yes! My mom’s Birth GGM was an avid reader & apparently walked a mile to the library every day, checked out a book, walked home, read it over night, & repeated the process. I know many don’t trust Patrick Byrne, but this is insane:

Whistleblower complaint with inspector Horrowitz.
https://www.deepcapture.com/wp-content/uploads/Finalized_Complaint_COMPRESSED.pdf

Jack Smith DJT’s prosecutor extorted money from potential or real criminals of the Kosovo war when he was prosecutor at the Hague (ICC)

Extortions between $400,000 to $9 million. He tried to extort the ex-president of Kosovo with $100 million. He didn’t pay and is still in prison.

Is Extortionist Jack Smith Being Extorted to Pursue Trump? – Deep Capture

Is Extortionist Jack Smith Being Extorted to Pursue Trump?

It started off as a typical DeepCapture intrigue, this one set in Europe, with whistleblowers whispering in the backs of airport hotel bars, stakeouts in obscure Swiss hamlets, and back-alley brush-passes in Eastern Europe capitals. It ended with proof that is a liver-punch to Garland’s politicized Department of Justice and its Southern District of New York offices.

The superb 151-page whistleblower complaint (attached) speaks for itself. Three allegations to take from it:

Jack Smith is the current Special Counsel prosecuting Donald Trump on two grounds, one related to J6 (for which I take full responsibility) and the other related to the “crime” of being an ex-President with an active Department of Energy clearance possessing classified materials. Before pursuing such novel legal theories as are expressed in those indictments, Jack Smith was the US prosecutor in the International Criminal Court in The Hague, where Jack Smith was a blackmailer.

Jack was sending henchmen to Eastern European to convey the following message to various parties (both innocent and perhaps not-so-innocent): We know that during the Yugoslavian Civil War you murdered some people, Jack is going to indict you but if you will put $X in a suitcase for me to carry back to Jack your problems go away.

$X = from $400,000 to $9 million (bribes of $7 million and $9 million were paid through Bitcoin, not suitcases).

Jack sought a $100 million bribe from a head of state who refused payment and is now in prison.

We learned of these allegations because of a passel of European whistleblowers who not only shared the stories, they wrote superbly detailed affidavits, provided texts and financial records, etc. Read the 151 pages with exhibits yourselves. From where I sit, Jack looks shtuped.

In April 2022 (18 months ago) this information with supporting documentation was provided by these whistleblowers to the offices of the DOJ in the Southern District of New York (SDNY) in lengthy phone calls.

SDNY arranged for these European whistleblowers to have a follow-on meeting with someone named Alan Tieger, someone whom they understood to be a high-level Internal Affairs officer. Alan Tieger had a phone call with some of these European whistleblowers from inside the SDNY offices in April, 2022.

Alan Tieger spent the first few minutes of the call trying to get the whistleblowers to recant, and when they refused, reluctantly walked through their allegations and evidence. We know this not only from the whistleblowers affidavits, but in addition, because they recorded the 90-minute Zoom call (which is dynamite to hear, and which, of course, we have).

The SDNY then buried the matter. That is likely explained by the fact that Alan Tieger turns out not to be from DOJ Internal Affairs, but a man who spent his career carrying Jack Smith’s luggage around the DOJ (and he has since replaced Jack as the American prosecutor at the ICC). So while the whistleblowers thought they were blowing the whistle on Jack Smith, they were tricked into doing so to Jack Smith’s own DOJ-butt-boy.

infer:

Attorney General Merick Garland learned about this material 18 months ago, and he (or Lisa Monaco, the Littlefinger of Garland’s DOJ) summoned Jack Smith back to Washington, DC to tell him something along the following lines: Listen you SOB, we know that you have been blackmailing people over in Europe and we are going to put you away for 30 years…. or you are going to come home and bring a prosecution against Donald J. Trump. We don’t care how far-fetched the legal theories, you are going to indict him and hound him to thwart his return to office.

This explains why Jack Smith has brought indictments against a man with an active DoE clearance for possessing classified materials, and also for whatever he did on J6 that no one can really explain.

NB: A word of caution to any in DOJ DC or SDNY prosecutors considering retaliating against me for making this information public: retaliating against a federal whistleblower is a felony with provision for 15 years in prison for each occurrence. I am sure you good folks are getting enormous pressure from DC to retaliate against me. But if you step aside, I will make sure no harm befalls you when these traitorous punks get lit. Think it through.

See complained in this article:

Tucker Carlson Responds to Becoming Donald Trump’s Vice President
As Semafor reported, Tucker gave the keynote speech Thursday night at the American Principles Project Foundation’s annual Christmas gala where he spoke about his Christian faith, optimism, and an America where “everything’s falling apart. Afterward, an audience member asked him to address the VP reports.

While Tucker did not wholly rule out serving as Trump’s sidekick, he said, “God would have to yell at me very loud.” He also expressed anxiety about transitioning from being a well-paid private citizen to becoming a politician.

“To go from being, like, a well-paid street corner schizophrenic to, like, a politician — it’s just kind of hard to envision,” Tucker said.

Now that might be a shocker to know the muslims were raiding for white gold that far north in the 1600’s unless you read Neal Stephenson’s Baroque Cycle, where in Book I, “Quick Silver” in one of the opening scenes… (every character got an opening scene) Young Eliza is far from shore clamming with her mother while the tide was out, when upon the horizon and in conjunction with the tides coming in a black sail swoops toward them. Long story short, Barbary Pirates took both of them away making them slaves in the Sultan’s Turkish Harem and we’d not hear much else about Eliza until Half Cock Jack shows up and saves her at the Battle of Vienna. All that also in the 1600s. And just the start of the story…

Cuppa Covfefe

Was it architected in the Bell Epoque?

(ducks and runs from flying bricks, stones, buttresses, etc.) 🙂

Aubergine

Good one!

Cuppa Covfefe

Reminds me of this 😀

Quasimodo was the famous hunchback of Notre Dame. After his death, the bishop of his Cathedral sent word through the streets of Paris that he needed a new bell ringer. The Bishop decided that he would conduct the interviews personally and so he went up into the belfry to begin the screening process. After observing several applicants demonstrate their skills, he shook his head – none were as good as Quasimodo.

Just as the bishop was leaving, a man with no arms approached him and announced that he was there to apply for the bell ringer’s job. The bishop was incredulous. ‘But, you have no arms!’ ‘No matter’, said the man. ‘Observe!’ And he began striking the bells with his face, producing a beautiful melody on the bells. The bishop listened in astonishment; convinced he had finally found a replacement for Quasimodo.

But suddenly, rushing forward to head the bell, the armless man tripped and plunged headlong out of the belfry window. Sadly, he died on the the street below. The stunned bishop rushed to the armless man. When he reached the street, a crowd had gathered around the fallen figure, drawn by the beautiful music they had heard only moments before. As they silently parted to let the bishop through, one of them asked, ‘Bishop, who was this man?’

‘I don’t know his name’, the bishop sadly replied, ‘but his face rings a bell.’

But wait; there’s more…

The next day, despite the sadness of the unfortunate death of the armless campanologist, the bishop continued his interviews for the bell ringer of Notre Dame. The first man to approach him said, ‘Your Excellency, I am the brother of the poor armless wretch that fell to his death from this very belfry yesterday. I pray that you will honour my brother’s life by allowing me to replace him as your esteemed bell ringer’.

The bishop agreed to give the man an audition and, as the armless man’s brother stooped to pick up a mallet to strike the first bell, he groaned, clutched at his chest, twirled around, and died on the spot. A monk, hearing the bishop’s cries of grief at this second tragedy, rushed up the stairs to his side.

‘What has happened? Who is this man?’ the monk asked breathlessly.

‘I don’t know his name’, sighed the distraught bishop, but…. ‘He was a dead ringer for his brother’.

Canadian Journalist Who Advocated Draconian Vaxx-Passport Mandates Dies Mysteriously at 33 By J.D. Rucker • Dec. 9, 2023

33-year-old Canadian MSM journalist who heavily promoted the Covid-19 vaccine, advocated for vaccine passports, and the firing of those who refused the jab has died after being hospitalized and “declared neurologically dead.”

Ian Vandaelle, a 33-year-old Canadian business journalist, worked as a reporter and editor at the Financial Post and was previously a producer at BNN Bloomberg for over a decade.

Stephanie Hughes, Vandaelle’s partner, shared the news of his death on her X account on December 5, 2023, stating, “I haven’t been on Twitter for a while because my partner, @IanVandaelle, has been in the hospital since Nov. 18. It’s with a heavy heart today that I say he was declared neurologically deceased this week and taken off life support this morning. He was 33 years old.”

Vandaelle had taken to social media multiple times, advocating for incentives to encourage Covid-19 vaccination, the implementation of vaccine passports, and the termination of those who refused the jab.

In one social media post, Vandaelle stated, “I, for one, advocate we bring the carrot and the stick. Incentivize getting the vaccine however we like – ice cream, lotteries, literally whatever, I don’t care – and require vaccination to do non-essential things. Wanna go to a bar to watch the game? Passport.”

In another post, he urged the Toronto Police to terminate members who declined the jab, saying, “Take the jab or resign; anything else is moral and ethical cowardice. You take an oath to protect citizens? You get vaxxed. Shameful that we have to say this.”

Vandaelle seemed in good health and actively engaged in work, as indicated by various social media posts before his hospitalization.

Recall that leaked audio of Texas Democrat Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee berating her staffer using foul and abusive language was obtained and published by Current Revolt in October shortly before the election.

Earlier this year Sheila Jackson Lee announced her bid for Houston Mayor from a church – then Current Revolt published audio of Sheila Jackson Lee screaming and cursing at her aides. ..
