The Deep State’s Attempt to Destroy Elon Musk

Whatever. He needs to take his high heeled boots, and beat it.
Tweet hopper:
X Has Already Won Elon Musk closed the acquisition of Twitter, now X, in October of 2022. Once that deal was closed, a bunch of advertisers left the platform out of fear of their brands being impacted by the new “Freedom of Speech” rules that X was looking to implement. The premise was that ads would be shown next to content that advertisers don’t want to be associated with, and because X would now allow more “improper” content, the chances of having a negative ad experience could increase. After leaving the platform for a few weeks, almost all advertisers have come back, albeit with lower ad spends. However, earlier this year, X gave guidance that the platform is near cash-flow neutral, minus debt obligations. This means that even though the platform has suffered losses in terms of ad revenue, the company is close to being self-sufficient. In other words, no outside cash has to be brought into the company to keep it alive, as long as the trend continues. Fast forward a few months, and after controversial comments made by Elon and an effort by Media Matters to encourage advertisers to boycott the platform, advertisers left again. However – just like the first time, after a few weeks, advertisers are beginning to come back. There’s confirmation that Netflix has started to spend ad money on the platform again, and per Elon at his recent conference in Italy, advertisers are beginning to come back to the platform en masse. I think all of this points to something quite clear – the Overton Window is beginning to shift, and with it, a massively profitable endeavor for advertisers. For those that are not familiar, the Overton Window is a term used to express what is “acceptable” to be discussed in a given time period. If you compare what is acceptable to be discussed on X today, vs what was acceptable on Twitter pre-acquisition, you can very clearly see that the “acceptable” topics are much more diverse and plentiful. This means that the Overton Window has shifted. Another example of this is also on YouTube. A few days ago, Mario hosted a space with Elon Musk, Alex Jones, Andrew Tate, and other folks discussing Alex’s reinstatement and a bunch of other topics. These topics pre-acquisition would not be admissible under Twitter’s former rules. What’s really interesting is that after making this edited content available on YouTube, YouTube has a) not taken down the content from the platform and b) allowed monetization on the content. This implies that advertisers are now becoming comfortable advertising on content that they weren’t comfortable with in the past. What does this mean for X? It’s quite simple – X’s willingness to stand for Free Speech, even when the CEO makes statements that cause the business to temporarily lose revenue, is creating a brand new market for advertisers that previously did not exist precisely due to an unwillingness to embrace Freedom of Speech. And because X’s entire approach has been to uphold Freedom of Speech and accept the repercussions that come with it, the platform has positioned itself as the premier place for content that will be generated on this principle. This same content is a market that advertisers have had 0 access to in the past because of the unwillingness of platforms to embrace Freedom of Speech, and the skittishness of ad agencies to sully their brands with controversial topics. On top of this, it’s a market that is untapped, which will generate billions of views, and billions of dollars, for creators and advertisers alike. I do not suspect we’ll see another advertisers boycott in the future because of this dynamic. There’s way too much money to be made, and now that the Overton Window has shifted to where the “public” is now “comfortable” with listening to dissenting and controversial opinions, advertisers will be tripping over themselves to advertise on X over the long term. In my opinion, people respect the notion of being allowed to think for themselves, and because this has been subdued for far too long, there will be an avalanche of interest for content that is specifically challenging and controversial. Ultimately, this will be massively profitable for advertisers due to the engagement and attention it’ll receive from the public. I posited when Elon bought the platform that X would win if they could make Freedom of Speech profitable, and I think we’re starting to see glimpses of this being the case.
Just to clear the air in the middle of deliberate confusing of affairs….

LUKE 1:5-25
5In the days of Herod, king of Judea, there was a priest named Zechari’ah, of the division of Abi’jah; and he had a wife of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth. 6And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. 7But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and both were advanced in years. 8Now while he was serving as priest before God when his division was on duty, 9according to the custom of the priesthood, it fell to him by lot to enter the temple of the Lord and burn incense. 10And the whole multitude of the people were praying outside at the hour of incense. 11And there appeared to him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense. 12And Zechari’ah was troubled when he saw him, and fear fell upon him. 13But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zechari’ah, for your prayer is heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. 14And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth; 15for he will be great before the Lord, and he shall drink no wine nor strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb. 16And he will turn many of the sons of Israel to the Lord their God, 17and he will go before him in the spirit and power of Eli’jah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready for the Lord a people prepared.” 18And Zechari’ah said to the angel, “How shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is advanced in years.” 19And the angel answered him, “I am Gabriel, who stand in the presence of God; and I was sent to speak to you, and to bring you this good news. 20And behold, you will be silent and unable to speak until the day that these things come to pass, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their time.” 21And the people were waiting for Zechari’ah, and they wondered at his delay in the temple. 22And when he came out, he could not speak to them, and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple; and he made signs to them and remained dumb. 23And when his time of service was ended, he went to his home. 24After these days his wife Elizabeth conceived, and for five months she hid herself, saying, 25“Thus the Lord has done to me in the days when he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men.”

Thank you, De Pat, for a beautiful Tuesday thread.

Details on the Brandon Streaka case that he won:
Brandon Straka WINS Huge Lawfare Case Brought Against Him by DC Police and a Far Left Non-Profit Law Firm
Sue for the attorney fees. Malicious prosecution.
And damages!!!
I think he mentioned that he is.
I love what his lawyers did afterwards (see last part of the video posted):
They sent a letter to these lawfare lawyers in which they stated:
“………….If you file more lies about Mr Straka – eg. that he ‘directed’ anybody to do anything tortious that day – we’ll seek sanctions.
We already have a strong case for Mr. Strakas legal fees.
………”
These lawyers ran away with the tail between their legs and wrote back that the case against Brandon is over.
Excellent!
If they have a case for sanctions they better bring it right now.
When your mortal enemy is down, you don’t let him run away to fight another day.
You finish him.
EXACTLY
because they will regroup and return otherwise
And now Brandon is free with a fire in his belly just in time to campaign for Trump…. OOOOooooops.
The Lectern Guy:
Yes but he must first change his voter registration.
Didn’t anyone explain to you that logic was forbidden?
No?
Well they explained it to me and I ignored it…other than telling them to just fuck right off the edge of the earth.
Because they’re flat earthers, they fell off.
Nah, the cats pushed them off.
THIS^^^^ is the more likely explanation imo
It takes a true believer to actually fall off an edge that doesn’t exist!!
Well if they went into orbit it Could feel like falling forever! 😉 😉
That is exactly what orbit is – falling in an arc that matches the arc of the earth.
Yep. And if it doesn’t work, they need an arc fault interrupter 😀
I tripped & fell into that right answer 🙃
True that…since that’s essentially what it is!
There’s a line in Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy that tells people how to fly: they throw themselves at the ground and miss. This is flying like Superman, not flying like orbiting, but it’s a fair description of orbiting.
!!!
Flat earther! 😜
For some reason your commentary is bringing to mind a story Hubby told me happened at his last OK job 30+ years ago. A co-worker brought their (annoying little lap) dog to work. They were standing around jawing w/ the good old boys that ran his company when everyone noticed the dog attempting to bang the crap out of its toy ball across the warehouse floor…
& this classic from Awkward Family Photos…
😂
Definitely needs a bit of cropping. 😋
Nor can they keep drugs out of the White House.

This is 1800s schooling! Back in the days when people in a community built a little schoolhouse and recruited a teacher for their kids.
Nothing new under the sun. I love it.
A good friend of mine who grow up in northern NY went to a one room school house. He was another Chemist/Caver.
We still have one room school houses in parts of Eastern Montana. The graduating classes are usually 4-7 kids.
Plastics…

Laura Loomer is reporting that the woman behind the ousting of George Santos is dating Santos’ Director of Operations. Loomer also believes she has uncovered an Only Fans account for the woman.
LOOMERED!!!!!
This makes me laugh. 😂
So what? Know the enemy is the first rule of winning.
Plus, to learn public speaking – learn from the masters of it. Adolph certainly was one, and so is Barry Soetero.
Does reading Hegel and Marx make you a Commie? Or is it KNOW THY ENEMY.
Given how the Nazis keep cropping up all over the place, understanding Hitler and Nazis makes a lot of sense.
They are using all shenanigans to stop Trump. I have known people who were reading “Mein Kampf” and were democrats. Lots of people have read that book some even in college. Anything to smear Trump. These people are sick.
Any historian of modern Gerrmany would have to read it, if only to gain an understanding of 1933-1945.
Yes we have become complicit ? Unfortunately one does not realize the seriousness what is happening . I myself was in denial for the longest time because this cannot happen in the US. False it is happening but still people are in denial even in my family. We all know what happens when no one speaks truth we get Naziz or Mao or Stalin. Maybe it is already to late.
Trump on Truth Social:
That’s disturbing news about Janet Ossebaard. I would like to know more details about how long she had been missing, what people thought her frame of mind was, etc. The Fall of the Cabal is a good series and not something the cabal would be happy about. But that cat is already out of the bag. If they harmed or killed her, maybe it serves as a warning to others.
Methinks it was a shot across the bow that didn’t miss…. They’re getting desperate, as well they should.

And the normies are getting angrier and angrier.
I wonder just how many of the upper level brains have died in the last decade or two.
For example Prince Chuckles is not in his Mamma’s league. David Rockefeller is dead and some of his estates sold. Kissinger is dead, Evelyn de Rothschild died a year ago.
Since 2013 bankers have died too.

When my Ex was in officer training, one of the instructors had been shot in the back by his own troops — THREE TIMES.
He would be shipped state side to heal and then back to ‘Nam and get shot again. That happened to him by three separate sets of troops.
One has to wonder what they had that fellow teaching…
Leadership. That’s why he got shot in the back.
My Ex never said.

The sheer number of executive orders that have not been reversed is another indicator. The Biden regime didn’t move the Embassy in Israel back to Tel Aviv, either.
The signs are there if you look and connect the dots.
Well, … that certainly gave my coffee a funny aftertaste.
The theory that Trump is in on it is ridiculous. I wonder who believes it.
That’s the most complete explanation of a political turnaround that I’ve seen. Cates takes total responsibility for his changing views.
That scenario sounds like a brainstorm idea from a CIA seminar.
Where they hope we are STUPID ENOUGH to actually believe it.
Are we missing something big in Egyptology? Or is this too way out?
Not so sure about this, but I’m open to being skeptical about it. What physical evidence do we need to disprove it?
If the ocean level was ever that high after the pyramid was built, wouldn’t that be evident in the stone, i.e., wouldn’t whatever part of the pyramid that remained above the water be different in some way under close analysis?
Unless they are suggesting that the entire pyramid at Giza was submerged, so the water damage would be more or less uniform.
If that was the case, if the flood water was ever that high, how far would the water necessarily have flooded? There should be flood damage evident to all kinds of rock formations for thousands of miles in every direction.
And how long are they suggesting such a flood would need to remain, to cause the kind of damage claimed to be from flood waters?
However much time that is, the pyramids would have to have been built before that time, and how much further back in time does that mean the pyramids were built, and by whom?
Read the article, but do not forget that the ocean levels were different during the Holocene Optimum.
https://judithcurry.com/2011/07/12/historic-variations-in-sea-levels-part-1-from-the-holocene-to-romans/
Not only were the glaciers smaller, there was land ‘rebound’
Ocean levels were 3-6m higher 6000-8000 years ago. This is the time when the Bosporus formed and the water from the Mediterranen Sea did flow into the Black Sea, turning it into the salty lake.
These levels are however not sufficient to even reach the foot of the pyramids, which are currently at 55m above sea level.
OTH this would be sufficient that a connection between the Red Sea and the Mediterranen may have formed via the Nile delta (the Suez Canal follows most of the possible connection).
Someone in the comments suggested plate tectonic shift. Fair guess as these continents butt up against each other and if it was a massive enough movement it could of caused such a tidal wave IMO.
Meanwhile whatever glaciation covered Europe could of taken long periods to break down glacial dams.
These are two of the largest known floods caused by such events.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Agassiz
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glacial_Lake_Missoula
Both are prehistoric happening in North America. Possible other events happened in Europe.
Reminds me of Tilak’s “Arctic Home in the Vedas” but that is a different, controversial and hushed up subject though possibly related subject as it hypothsis an Artic home for Aryans roughly 10,000 years ago that was abandoned due to to forseen climatic change as evidenced in both the Veda’s and the Avesta (Zoroastrian holy book).
Instead brings this vid someone else brought to the site one year ago according to my youtube history. This well may be his flood and may provide general support for both hypothesis from ethical skeptic and Tilak.
I was also thinking of that Eye of Sahara as Atlantis.
The tell tale signs of a massive flood stretching from Egypt through the desert and dumping into the Atlantic are rather intriguing as it appears some uniform process that can best be explained as very huge flood seems to have left quite the scar as can be seen on Google Earth.
Exactly. There should be an extraordinary amount of additional evidence, but when and where to find it is the question. There are big ranges of both time and space involved, if it happened.
On the other hand, sometimes the evidence just needs the theory for people to begin to spot the evidence it requires.
I remain highly, highly dubious, but am willing to wait for convincing evidence.
You could be waiting for the rest of your life.
😂
Indeed these big ranges of time are easy places for data to hide naturally or even places for man to hide data or places to misdirect from.
Meanwhile purged or lost data is likely a factor too.
Pretty much every past civilization had the things they thought important to them get destroyed and in some cases carried off. Arabs were notorious for it. If it wasn’t about Allah, into the fire it went unless some newly conscripted follower made special pleas for it to be saved. The Christian’s were just as bad as they systematically combed over the entirety of Christendom destroying anything remotely Gnostic.
That last plays into the Church or other Christian sects which have retained their powers right up to this last decade where some, the Church itself, or independent actors representing the Christian faith may have been rather particular about protecting anything that might spoil the Word just as a scientist might protect his pet theory and cover up or alter anything that points away from it. Indeed when archeology became a big thing, the Church et al, tried to have some representation so they would could ensure they got a fair shake.
Then there are all the old libraries the world over that get devoured in flame by accident or not.
And returning back to organized Religion, we now have to deal with the New Green Deal folk who don’t hesitate to conceal or change data to perpetuate their global climate change scam. Try to put together a grant for anything that might disprove such and it’s likely going to get rejected.
Oh and we may of left out England and the Royal Society where in it’s strongly rumored that 500BC was as far back as they wanted to hear about India’s history. Anything further was said to get an icy response. Partly to do supporting the Christianity, but also a slap back at getting kicked out of their colony.
Lastly comes shoddy practices, where in what once was one, gets fragmented and shipped off to differing museums around the world making it incredibly difficult getting the peices re-joined and proper examination or decipherment made, not to mention all the stuff that just sits waiting in some attic for even a first look. In this section is ofcourse all the private collectors who paid for relics for relics sake and never understood what it is they had, likely now tossed out in the trash by next of kin.
Lots of reasons why we may never know a thing. Heck, some of its still buried or has been built over which seems to be the chief excuse on why they can’t find hide or hair of Sargon’s great city of Agade.
You can read the article by the ethical Skeptic HERE:

I liked that one.
It is always interesting to see a different view point. Our knowledge is now so compartmentalized that a new comer from a completely different discipline can often spot something, very obvious to them, that is completely over looked by the ‘experts’

I recall reading an online article once about how vowel sounds are formed. Apparently there are three frequencies at play. The lowest and middle frequences played together at the right volumes will generally sound like some particular vowel sound, the third frequency adds a rounding.
The guy writing the article was struggling with pitch. If he raised both frequencies a few hundred hertz it no longer sounded like the same vowel, so he was continually tweaking the difference between the two to find an offset that worked no matter what.
I had no way to contact him, or I’d have suggest he work with ratios of frequencies rather than fixed offsets. Any person with a smidge of music theory would know that.
Maybe he did figure it out eventually.
He would have done well to look at something like the works of Mersenne, or Vennard (https://vocalpedagogy.com/vocal-pedagogue/william-vennard)…
This gal thinks things are going to get worse fast.
They need to get as many illegals in , mainly fighting age men , before Trump gets back in office. They are creating a impossible situation of getting illegals them back out of the country. We will be fighting illegal men and maybe anifa, gangs and whatever they let loose on white people because in deranged minds we are the problem. I can blame Obama but there are way more then him the whole deep state is polluted.
My only weapon against that evil is prayer I have no gun.
i like the bounty hunter system…
Eisenhower’s “Project Wetback” worked just fine… he repatriated the illegals regardless of what their countries of origin wanted…
see? there are options!
Give them 30 days to turn themselves in for deportation and after that put bounties on their heads…. Dead or Alive.
That is perfect 🙂
So do I. They are ILLEGAL so open hunting season with $100 per.

Golding or Gelding…
LOL! And he would say the same if an aide to Matt Gaetz or Marjorie Tayloe Greene in the House did the same thing…
I found the actual article
NOTE THE PURPLE = Soros/Hillary Purple Revolution and Commie fist painted in rainbow.
https://afru.com/senate-hearing-room-love-incident/
And no it is not a satire site although I did wonder.
Considering the fists all have the six colors of the gaybow, the pic has an embedded 666…
I did not notice that point. I have no doubt it is deliberate.
Yep. I was looking to count the number of fingers, and the six colors really fouled it up. Then I noticed that it was three fists…

The comments on this are just awesome!

I am playing that for Hubby. We have his book of songs.
Have a look at this link:

It’s interesting how that website/etc. came about. Seems that there was so much traffic of his songs being posted/commented/etc. that he noticed, and decided to put up recordings of his concerts, e.g. the ones in Denmark, which include (hilarious) intros…
Kinda funny to think that he’d be considered conservative in today’s environment…
Hope and pray that all is well with you and yours… We had some dear friends, years ago, who had a similar experience… may GOD Bless you and and keep you!!!!!!!!
They always said they did. 😡
That is a sucker bet.

Two Strategic War Fronts to Watch – The First to Be Announced Tomorrow
In the world of tracking geopolitical maneuvers closely, particularly as it relates to military intervention, it becomes critical at a certain point to get more deliberate.
Two fronts seem like they are about to open on the geopolitical stage. The first in Yemen, the second in Moldova. We can watch them unfold together if we begin from the same baseline.
Against the background of the Israeli-Gaza war against Hamas terrorists, the U.S. military is about to begin a large-scale operation in the Red Sea under the auspices of combating Houthi rebels and terrorist attacks. Against the background of the Ukraine-Russia conflict, we can also anticipate NATO opening a new front using Moldova.
…
♦ YEMEN – As the U.S. and “coalition partners” begin military engagement against the Houthi rebels, no one in Western media will draw contrast to the State Dept earlier this year sending another $444 million via USAID (a CIA front group) to Yemen. Factually, the U.S. has spent $5.4 billion, yes that’s with a “b”, in Yemen through the State Dept {link}.
We are now going to begin military operations against elements within Yemen as part of something called “Operation Prosperity Guardian,” a new international effort deal with Houthi threats.” As this announcement is made, likely tomorrow, ask yourself what we spent $5.4 billion to achieve in Yemen, if we are now forced to use the U.S. military.
…
♦ MOLDOVA – Watch this landscape closely.
Ukraine is losing badly, and U.S. led NATO efforts need to change the dynamic. We can anticipate Moldova playing a key role in what comes next.
Watch out for the CIA, DoS, influence over Western NATO allies to create a battlefront against Russia using Moldova.
The basic premise would be for some kind of kinetic action to take place on the Moldova/Ukraine -v- Russia conflict zone (Odessa region), likely created by organized CIA operations, that will then provide the predicate for a second and more direct NATO front against Russia to take the pressure away from direct engagement in Ukraine.
Again, USAID operations (non-pretending, the CIA) have been all over Moldova for the past several months. Something is going to trigger there, and Vladimir Putin can also see it, see the Lavrov statement from November 30.

The Cabal desperately NEEDS a war.
For many reasons. It would also make JB a “wartime president,” which sometimes aids in popularity if the country rallies around the cause. But IMO there is no way the people are going to support war of any kind right now. JB will be blamed by many for getting us into it.
I am pretty sure you are correct.
MAGA = Anti – War
College kids = Anti – War
Libertarians = Anti – War
General run of the mill Democrats = Anti – War

Burning Bright, who lives in Liberalville (Boston) and was a Democrat, said it was Trump’s stance on war that made him into a Trump supporter.

Brian Cates tweet: “As the returns came in on Election night, by 9 pm they realized if they didn’t pull the trigger on ‘Plan B’, TRUMP WAS GOING TO BE DECLARED THE WINNER.
So in a coordinated ‘Plan B’, they **stopped the vote counting** by hitting the ‘pause’ button [yes they could do that!] in the six key battleground states and dispatched the vans will all the boxes and boxes of preprinted ballots to the counting centers for the 3 am ballot dumps. It **still** took them 3 more days to count the fake ballots and declare Joe Biden the ‘winner’ of the electoral college vote by a mere 40,000 fake votes across those 6 battlegrounds of AZ, GA, MI, WI, PA and NV.
It was ugly. It was brutal. But if they had to, they would do it again, of course.
But this is problem that has presented itself. The problem they can’t surmount: 40,000 votes across six states is NOT gonna get it done in 2024. They can already SEE that even if some talking head idiots out there on your TV just parrot the same talking point over and over: “They’ll just steal it again!”
________
What part of this doesn’t Brian (and others) understand?
It’s MADDENING.
If they need to manufacture 400,000 votes instead of 40,000 votes, all they have to do is add a ZERO to the total.
If they need 4,000,000 extra votes, they just add TWO zeroes. Gosh, I wonder if they can figure out how to add two zeroes to 40,000… 🙄
They can use a freakin’ ball point PEN if they need to.
WTH don’t people understand about that?
Are their minds trapped in box of procedural irrelevancy?
They don’t even need a pen to do it.
They can just verbally SAY whatever vote total they need, like a pronouncement from on high. They can do whatever they want, because the MSM will run with their narrative, and their lies will get around the world a hundred times before truth gets its boots on.
The way they did it last time, trucking in physical fraudulent ballots, and running the rigged electronic voting machines, etc., was only necessary when TRUMP was in power, and the criminals were on the OUTSIDE looking in.
Now, the criminals are on the INSIDE. They control everything.
There will never be any evidence needed or presented to back up the CRIMs claimed vote totals, so they don’t even need to manufacture any. All they have to do is assert it.
Because who is going to credibly challenge them or STOP them?!?
Nothing will ever make it to court, and even if it ever did, just like last time, they’ll just stall until it doesn’t matter anymore, until the ‘game’ is already over and the ‘nation’ has ‘moved on’.
Suppose Mike Lindell or similar has “ironclad evidence” (again). So what? Nobody will hear the evidence.
But suppose some court did. So what?
Six or eight months after Brandon is sworn in for his second term, what ARMY is going to march into the WH and arrest him?
NONE, that’s the name of the Army.
People who are focused on the NUMBER of votes don’t see the forest for the trees.
The NUMBER of votes is truly IRRELEVANT. The only thing that matters is who COUNTS the votes.
That’s why you can’t vote your way out of tyranny.
That’s why it makes no sense to suggest that ANY amount of votes for Trump is enough to overcome the cheat.
Suppose Trump got 300 MILLION votes. There aren’t even 300 million registered adult voters in America, but suppose he got 300 million votes anyway, for the sake of argument.
The people who count the votes wait for Trump’s vote total, and then announce (without any evidence, if they want to), that Brandon received 301 million votes.
It doesn’t matter if there are only 330 million people in America. It doesn’t matter that there aren’t anywhere near 601 million people in America.
Logic doesn’t matter. Reason doesn’t matter. The numbers don’t have to ‘add up’. The only thing that matters is the assertion or claim that Brandon ended up with more votes than Trump.
That’s it.
That’s all they need to fuel the ‘narrative’.
They don’t have to PROVE nothin’ to nobody, because they are in power, so if they decide a ‘peaceful transition’ is against their best interests (they crossed that Rubicon a long time ago), then they simply don’t leave, and claim they won.
At that point, Trump has to prove that they cheated, get it into court, have a court rule in his favor, and then find a way to enforce the court ruling (extra emphasis on the ‘force’ part of enforce). All of that takes TIME.
And even if he succeeds and wins the case, Brandon and MSM can just dismiss it as conspiracy theory or crooked judges or whatever they want to say, and that will be enough to convince the half of the population who want to believe the lie, and we’re right back to the Mexican standoff.
Or they can start WWIII or start a new plague or any of a hundred similar false-flag plot devices.
Because Brandon (or whoever runs on the CRIM ticket) is on the inside, with all the power (and the military to protect him, just as they’ve done since 2020), and Trump is on the outside, with SQUAT.
So what is needed is a plan that’s actually better than SQUAT.
A plan that also takes the U.S. military into account, one way or another.

Tucker Carlson Calls DeSantis Influencers: “the nastiest, stupidest, and the most zero-sum people I’ve ever seen in my life.”
Oh snap, this is buckets of funny. The DeSantis influencers are having major ‘splodey heads right now. The meltdowns are too funny. What makes this even more hilarious is that DeSantis online influencers considered Tucker Carlson to be a major player in their tribe.
Speaking at the Turning Point USA event to Tim Pool {Direct Rumble Link}, Tucker Carlson gave his opinion on the Ron DeSantis online influence campaign; saying, “the people who represent him online are the nastiest, the stupidest, and the most zero-sum people I’ve ever seen in my life.”

They are making steady progress it appears. Will probably hit interlocking of 50% of the world’s economy in the next year or two. They will roll out their own currency and/or standards. Current US sanctions are having less and less effect except on us and allies.
No doubt in my mind that the world economy is headed toward multi-region economic polarity. Will not happen tomorrow, but will happen over time if the Lord does not return first. USMCA represented the first step in North America. When PDT comes back I expect him to support that concept. Russia and China have already established their economic beachheads in South and Central America. The Aussies are locked at the hip with China now. We are losing our influence in Africa.
It is time for the war pigs to die so we can be about competing well in the world economy to protect our nation and its culture.
When Trump gets back, he should declare war on Mexico.
That country’s leadership has 100% facilitated the invasion of our country, by the millions, allowing Mexico to be a gateway into America for terrorists from all over the world.
I would shut that whole country down and send it back to the stone age.

Then wipe out the Commies in South America AND take back OUR Panama canal!
While I have no disagreement with your facts I have observed that your solutions could be objectively classified as absolute.
Unfortunately that becomes necessary, when lawlessness abounds without restraint.
Everything gets worse and worse, until ‘absolute’ solutions are the only credible option.
This is why it is so important to not lose the rule of law in the first place, so that we never arrive at the place where we are now.

Over 170 of Jeffrey Epstein’s high-profile associates will be NAMED in court documents set to be unsealed in the first days of 2024
Dozens of Jeffrey Epstein‘s high profile associates are in for a New Year’s surprise as they will be named in court documents set to be released in the first days of 2024.
The pedophile’s powerful friends are set to be exposed as part of a vast unsealing that a judge ordered on Monday will take place in 14 days.
That will take the release day to January 1 – but as that is a holiday it is likely the files will be made public the following day.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12881277/Pedophile-Jeffrey-Epstein-associates-named-unsealed-court-document.html
The timing is exquisite! It is too late in Bite-me’s term for court cases to come to a conclusion BUT it is just the right time for NAME & SHAME to be effective during an election year.
I’ll believe it when I see it.
The people on that list have trillions of dollars in personal wealth and many are leaders of nations.
The amount of bribery, blackmail and murder they will exert to keep that list secret is incalculable.
So let’s pray that the list IS unveiled and the people doing so are well protected.
“That will take the release day to January 1 – but as that is a holiday it is likely the files will be made public the following day.”

Verse of the Day for Tuesday, December 19, 2023
✟
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”
Isaiah 26:3 (KJV)
Thank You, Jesus, for blessings received and prayers answered !!!
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Down here is hillbilly land we know that every ground rat and varmint has two holes for entrance and exit. If the hillbilly wants to exterminate or otherwise move them on to other locales, he/she pours poisons and other unmentioned deterrents into the holes and plugs them with rocks or quikrete. Not very humane, but then rats and varmints are filthy animals that spread disease and attract more dangerous predatory animals to areas of human existence. It is akin to leaving uncovered trash cans and easy to reach bird feeders as enticements for local bears around here. Pretty dumb practices.
The Hamas rats have multiple entrance and exit holes, but they all connect. It does not take a great deal of intelligence to understand how to exterminate them unless you watch the idgit box for all of your information and err on the side of all of the “innocent” (LMAO at the one) civilians who get blown up in the process.
When the Hamas rats don’t attack, they are prepping to attack. That methodology has gone on forever. With all of the seismic equipment, video tracking, funds flow and other detection technology available, I find it very hard to believe the IDF did not know the tunnels and enemy existed right at their door step. So my side eye kicks in. Did Israel willingly allow the sacrifice of their own people to vile animals to give justification to wipe out Hamas and other inhabitants of Gaza?
Which leads to COVID. Did America’s leaders actively participate and willingly permit Mengele’s Minions to infect its own citizens and the rest of the world as sacrifices to turn public attention away from their real mission to form and control the globalist’s dream of a NWO?
Well, yes, they did.
Cavers were aware of the equipment that would locate tunnels back in the 1970s (Think Vietnam war)
I am sure the equipment isa heck of a lot more precise and sophistcated by now.
Samples. As we know, by the time it makes it into the public sphere, it has already been tested and used for many years in DOD applications. If we know it, the IDF had access years ago as they would be the one of the militaries testing it.

So, the last few weeks have included a sequence of things that all seem related.
First, I was in a Bible study. A huge group disagreement commenced when someone asked if God “answered the prayers of non-believers.” I think yes. I think we all have heard examples of someone praying in desperation for something, and saying they would believe if their prayer was answered. It was, and they converted. There were a few people who were just aghast that some of us believed this. This disagreement is ongoing.
Then, a couple of weeks ago, part of our sermon on Sunday was the parable of the wheat and tares. The end of the parable states that the tares (weeds) are to be allowed to grow with the wheat until “the harvest.” Which led the pastor to explain that God will separate the tares (bad people) from the wheat (righteous people) when it is time. That it isn’t up to us to try to rip the tares (sinners) out of our midst.
This led to angry emails and such, from people who I guess don’t want sinners in the church. But isn’t that where they need to be?
Then the thing with the Pope allowing “blessings” of people in “non-traditional” relationships came out. Not to marry them, but to give them general blessings in church.
Jesus certainly associated with sinners. Shouldn’t we? But how far do we take that? I know from personal experience that often laying down with dogs means you get up with fleas. And psychological studies prove that behaviors can “rub off,” degrading others.
Then I read yesterday that in states where so-called “conversion therapy” for homosexuality and other sexual issues was banned, the suicide rate for those people actually went UP.
All of these things appear related to me.
Somehow, we have to, as Christians, find a way to call the sinners in, and help them. That means we have to associate with them, not just “love” them from afar. I don’t know what this should look like exactly. I know I certainly don’t want to associate myself with perversion in church. I get enough of that out here in the world. But at the same time, if they don’t come to church, how will they ever know there’s a better way?
I am struggling to find a way to balance my need for a space where the world is “without,” and the spirit is “within,” and having that space be open to people who are struggling with what we believe is terrible sin. I know we are all sinners, don’t get me wrong, but some people seem to be trying to either “include” everybody, or “exclude” many who need help.
I suppose this is no different than it ever was in some ways.
For what it is worth, somewhere recently I heard/read that the churches were targeted by the communists/satanists early on, so please keep that in mind.
Seems I did add it to my notes 🤓
“Socialism will triumph by first capturing the culture via infiltration of schools, universities, churches and the media by transforming the consciousness of society” – Antonio Gramsci
The quote comes from ‘Audacia e Fide’ in Avanti!; reprinted in Sotto la Mole (1916-1920), p. 148. — Benito, Rome
http://libertytree.ca/quotes/Antonio.Gramsci.Quote.E447
1954 — Churches were only added to section 501c3 of the tax code in 1954. We can thank Sen. Lyndon B. Johnson for that. Johnson was no ally of the church. As part of his political agenda, Johnson had it in mind to silence the church and eliminate the significant influence the church had always had on shaping “public policy.” — https://hushmoney.org/501c3-facts.htm
They went for the seminaries in the 20th century. Slowly and methodically seeding homosexuals, specifically, in the priesthood. According to Bella Dodd, they specifically looked for men smart enough to lead a double life. I believe the date I’ve heard was 1924 when it started. As these men rose in the ranks, the socialism mores started to surface. When the JPII generations of priests FINALLY make it to bishop age, expect that to change. The younger guys are really far more conservative.
THis is a good talk on it.
I don’t know how it happened in the various protestant sects, but I do know that the 1930 Lambeth Conference saw a major change in teaching on birth control for the Anglicans, and it was all downhill from there. My brother read a study claiming the average age of congregants in the Anglican/Episcopalian communion is in the mid-60s. I think the Lutherans are stable, and really don’t know about the others.
I think a lot of the “upstart” young churches are in decent shape.
I just found out this Sunday that our very gifted pastor never went to seminary. He told a hilarious story about being in a group of other pastors recently, and they asked him about his “degrees.” He told them he had a “ninety degree,” and did this to show us what he meant:
We all just howled laughing, of course. But thinking about it, I’m glad he didn’t go to seminary, really. He has just studied the Bible for twenty years. He is awesome. Seminary might have ruined him.
One thing that seminary students, or at least theology majors (one of my roommates was that in undergrad), typically acquire is knowledge of Hebrew & Greek. That can help them dive deeper into the original scriptures for further insight, Holy Spirit led of course. Other than that it sure is possible that seminary can lead a lot of people astray.
When I was in grad school, it was the seminary or “School of Graduate Theology” at my university, we were taught that many of the biblical scholars were not even Believers. That seemed pretty unfathomable to me. I think it was especially associated with “higher textual criticism”. This approach takes a rather scientific, iirc, view of analyzing scripture, but since so many of the leaders are/were (I was learning this stuff in the 80’s) non-believers it seems likely that their analyses would be skewed…
You identify the primary reason to go unless you study the languages in a different manner. Comprehending the various definitions and interpretations of wording leads to understanding the context of each statement. So much of what we read and hear concerning The Word is taken out of context.
As I have studied through the years I found that I needed to drill down on scholars and theologians that I learned to trust who have devoted their lives to understanding the languages since I never did. Otherwise my understanding could easily be manipulated as you state. But once you pick up the patterns and how it all weaves together so comprehensively and beautifully, it becomes harder to be deceived.
I am currently working up to taking on authority over the concept of happiness versus joy. Happiness has been getting a bad rap in the Protestant church over the last century or so. Some are teaching that the state of happiness is a temporary worldly thing only. Some devout Christians including the scholars and theologians you mention are driving a wedge into the synonyms of happy and joy, when forms of the term happy appear in the Bible some 2700 times and are even connected to the term of blessing. It is ridiculous and just leads to contentiousness and division. Finding happiness in sin and finding happiness in faithful living are different uses of the word. As an example I am still very happy I gave my life to Christ decades later after the decision. As another example the pursuit of happiness in America is an inalienable right granted by God per the Declaration of Independence. Today the Protestant church would probably change that to the pursuit of joy because, well, because.
If a person is unhappy he is more likely to be tempted by EVIL.

Of course we know the Commies LOVE to pay fast and loose with definitions so the definitions Valerie is using are probably different than the ‘modern definition.
(If I was not so lazy and my dictionary from the fifties was not down stairs, I would look up the OLD definitions.)
“my” definitions were just pulled from my head & the fact that one of the items under discussion is a Fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance/self-control) so wouldn’t be undesirable in my view…

16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever[c] you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
Footnote c: Galatians 5:17 Or you do not do what
Here it is in the KJV
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

These passages juxtapose living by/in the flesh versus by/in the Spirit…
Well joy is a Fruit of the Spirit, which is different than happiness, in my view, though there is seeming overlap in the concepts as they both involve good feelings & contentment though the first seems more intrinsic while the latter more extrinsic. One can have joy in the midst of sorrows but probably not happiness, fwiw…
The problem is in the action of defining. The proponents of joy over happiness always frame their argument with their definition of the two terms. They then proceed to make their argument.
I prefer to use unquestioned sources such as Strong’s before making my point.
In Hebrew:
Happiness
https://biblehub.com/hebrew/835.htm
Joy
https://biblehub.com/hebrew/8057.htm
In Greek – Happiness
https://biblehub.com/greek/3107.htm
Joy
https://biblehub.com/greek/5479.htm
Similar in both. By definition joy is more fleeting, gleeful, and situational gladness related than happiness, which is directly linked to the overall condition of blessedness.
This is precisely what happens in every aspect of our existence today. Somebody(ies) comes up with a narrative they want to sell for some reason. It gets repeated in the pulpit, the colleges and seminaries, government, media, etc, and becomes a part of the lexicon. Most people then accept it as fact.
Hmmm.
You know what I noticed right away? According to Strong’s:
In Hebrew, “happiness” is a masculine noun. “Joy” is a feminine noun.
In Greek, happiness is an adjective, but joy is a feminine noun.
I have to wonder if that is in any way significant.
The “We/Them/It” will never/can/t get this.
Lol, probably not!
Traditional Hebrew is a binary gendered language. Everything has a gender and that makes it difficult to learn. We Americans typically think Greek. So our understanding of the Hebrew language is dependent on our ability to think and talk differently like an orthodox Hebrew. As an example the Yah in Yahweh is feminine while the weh is masculine. But that does not mean God is one or the other or both.
I suck at it, but keep trying.
Read this for a snippet about the on-going, current state of thinking and speaking Hebrew. There is even a progressive movement on that language to change to non-binary.

FWIW, until two centuries ago most everybody understood happiness and joy were synonyms for each other for the majority of applications. Being a contrarian at heart I am convinced there are non-Biblical reasons that even a respected theologian like Oswald Chambers got this so wrong. Gail’s post about the impact of cabal on colleges and seminaries may be a key that helps unlock that mystery.
One only has to look at what they’ve done to the meaning of happy, frivolous, carefree, cheerful, pleasant, joyful, unencumbered mirth by rendering and misappropriating it (to borrow one of THEIR terms) as GAY, to see how the Devil uses them to pervert normalcy to his ways…….
Exactly – another pet peeve of mine. I refuse to say it in that context. Homosexual is the term before we slip into the cruder synonyms.
Interesting. Thanks!
An interesting discussion. I thought I would bring in one theological source that others may not have easy access to in this discussion of joy and happiness. It is a rather long but comprehensive treatment of joy but some will find it interesting.
Joy
Joy is the sense or state of gladness or elation that people experience through their relationship with God and through good things in their lives.
Concept Summary
Joy represents a sense or feeling of gladness, elation, or happiness in the Bible. It is an inward reality that may express itself outwardly. Joy is a response to God and/or circumstances. Several Hebrew words for joy refer both to the feeling of joy and its outward expression (e.g., שִׂמְחָה [śimḥâ]). Joy is found in a literal sense in the knowledge or experience of God. When the law is read by Ezra to the people in Neh 8, they become sad, but Nehemiah tells them to not mourn, for the joy (חֶדְוָה, ḥedwâ) that comes from Yahweh is their refuge (Neh 8:10). Joy also flows from the experience of many aspects of life. When Solomon was anointed to be king, the people rejoiced (שָׂמֵחַ, śāmēaḥ) with jubilation (śimḥâ; 1 Kgs 1:40). Ecclesiastes encourages enjoyment of life, for there is nothing good under the sun except to eat, to drink, and to be merry (לִשְׂמוחַ, liśmôaḥ) in the troubles of life (Eccl 8:15). There is also joy at victory over enemies. In the latter case, joy describes Israel’s or an individual’s response to victory over an adversary, whether God is seen as the agent of the victory, or it is the rejoicing or gloating of the enemies of God’s people over Israel’s defeat (Hab 3:14). Joy is also used metaphorically. A city rejoices (עָלַץ, ʿālaṣ) over the righteous people in it (Prov 11:10). Isaiah predicts the mountains and the hills will break forth in cheerful jubilation (Isa 55:12).
The NT authors also express joy over God’s benefits to others, as when Paul asks the Thessalonian believers how he, Silas, and Timothy are to offer God sufficient thanks for them in all the joy in which they rejoice (ἐπὶ πάσῃ τῇ χαρᾷ ᾗ χαίρομεν, epi pasē tē chara hē chairomen) before God because of these new believers (1 Thess 3:9). Paul’s use of “rejoice” (χαίρω, chairō) for the proper response to suffering (Col 1:24) also shows a new basis for rejoicing not present in the OT. James encourages believers to consider it all joy (χαρά, chara) when they face trials (Jas 1:2). Paul often tells believers to rejoice (chairō) regardless of present circumstances (e.g., Phil 4:4; 1 Thess 5:16). Peter tells his audience that as they are sharing in the sufferings of Christ, they should rejoice in the present, in order that at the revelation of Christ’s glory, they may rejoice (chairō) with gladness (agalliaō; 1 Pet 4:13). In short, both Hebrew and Greek have several terms that express the joy that human beings experience in relation to God and other people.
Theological Overview
For the biblical writers, joy is rooted in God and what he has done for people in general and his people in particular. As part of Solomon’s dedication of the temple, the people of Israel feasted for eight days. On the eighth day, Solomon sent them home with joyful (שָׂמֵחַ, śāmēaḥ) hearts because of all the good that God had done for his servant David and his people Israel (1 Kgs 8:66). When David, the elders of Israel, and military leaders brought the ark of the covenant, carried by the Levites, to Jerusalem, they did so with joy (שִׂמְחָה, śimḥâ; 1 Chr 15:25). When an angel announces to the shepherds that a savior has been born, he says, “Behold, I am proclaiming to you good news of great joy (χαρὰν μεγάλην, charan megalēn)” (Luke 2:10). After Peter’s miraculous release from prison, he went to the house of Mary, where people had gathered to pray for Peter (Acts 12:7–11). When Mary’s servant Rhoda recognizes Peter’s voice at the gate, Rhoda is so filled with joy (χαρά, chara) that instead of letting Peter in, she runs into the house and tells the group that Peter is at the gate (Acts 12:14).
Joy marks the people of God both individually and corporately. This characteristic of God’s people is present in the OT but is most evident in the NT. Paul tells the Roman believers that the kingdom of God is marked by righteousness, peace, and joy (chara) in or by the Holy Spirit (Rom 14:17). He also tells the believers in Corinth, “I am being supplied lavishly with joy (chara) in all our affliction” (2 Cor 7:4).
Joy (chara) is part of the fruit of the Holy Spirit that should be evident in the Christian community (Gal 5:22). When Moses is describing the covenantal curses that will come upon his people if they forsake Yahweh and his covenant with them, Moses declares that since they did not serve God with joy (śimḥâ) as a response to the abundance that God blessed them with, they will serve their enemies (Deut 28:47). In the NT, the concept of joy also relates to the eschatological future. For instance, Revelation 19 describes future events related to Jesus’ second coming and other aspects of the coming consummation of all things. The author of revelation exhorts his audience by saying, “Let us rejoice and be glad and give him the glory; the wedding celebration of the Lamb has come” (Rev 19:7).
Lexical Information
Old Testament
עָלַץ (ʿālaṣ). vb. rejoice, exult, gloat. Rejoice, based in a victory that God has won or will win; gloat maliciously at the defeat or trouble of an enemy.
This verb describes the rejoicing that stems from a victory or gloating over the defeat of enemies. This can be gladness because of a victory brought by God to his people as a whole or to an individual, as in the story of Hannah. When Hannah finally becomes pregnant and gives birth to Samuel, she rejoices in God who has now blessed her with a child, and she will no longer suffer mockery from Elkanah’s other wife (1 Sam 2:1). In 1 Chronicles 16:31–33, nature rejoices (שָׂמַח, śāmaḥ) over God’s rule. The sea roars and all that is in it; the fields rejoice (ʿālaṣ; 1 Chr 16:32) and everything in them. The heavens and the earth will be glad and the trees will sing when God comes to rule. By contrast, the psalmist prays for deliverance from his enemies who rejoice (ʿālaṣ) over him (Psa 25:2). He prays that God would keep him from being ashamed or from his enemies rejoicing or exulting over him. Like similar words used for joy, gladness, rejoicing, and so forth, ʿālaṣ presents joy as a response to what God has done, and the gladness of enemies for the misfortunes of the righteous.
הָלַל (hālal). vb. boast, praise, rejoicing, be praiseworthy. To admire, show appreciation, or praise someone or something for good qualities; to rejoice or boast.
This verb primarily has the sense of praising someone or something. In the vast majority of cases, it is praising God. Isaiah 62:9 declares that the inhabitants of Jerusalem will praise Yahweh. The predominant use of the verb for offering praise to God is in the psalms, which use an imperative form. The psalmist declares that “I will praise you (אֲהַלְלֶךָּ, ʾăhallekkā) in the congregation” (Psa 22:23; e.g., Pss 35:18; 107:32). God is to be מְהֻלָּל מְאֹד (mĕhullāl mĕʾōd, “praised greatly”; Psa 48:2). It is in the Hithpael stem that the verb comes closest to the concept of joy. For example, in Isa 41:16, boasting or exulting in God is set in parallel with rejoicing in Yahweh. So, when hālal means to boast or exult, it relates to the concept of joy because that can be understood as boasting, glorying, or exulting, especially in God or his name.
שָׂמַח (śāmaḥ). vb. To rejoice, to be glad, to be joyful, to make someone joyful. Spontaneous and oral expression of joy, rather than a general disposition.
The verb śāmaḥ is used many times to speak of God or his actions in the OT. The psalmist declares—using two different verbs related to joy—that he will “rejoice and be glad at your lovingkindness” (אָגִילָה וְאֶשְׂמְחָה בְּחַסְדֶּךָ, ʾāgîlâa wĕʾeśmĕḥâ bĕḥasdekā; Psa 31:8). As this shows, there are several words for joy that are regularly put in parallel or together to express similar senses of joy or rejoicing. Joel tells the people to rejoice because God has given them early and latter rain (Joel 2:23). The verb also describes the actions of those who pillage Jerusalem after the Babylonian invasion (Jer 50:11), and the psalmist pleads for God to prevent those who are the psalmist’s enemies for no reason from rejoicing (śāmaḥ) over his misfortune (Psa 35:19). This use illustrates that joy can be viewed by the biblical authors as a good thing if done by God’s people or the righteous but as a bad thing if the rejoicing is done by enemies of God’s people. The verb is used, then, with God and a wide variety of people and things as both subjects and objects of the rejoicing. In the prophetic woe oracle against the king of Babylon, the cypress trees and cedars of Lebanon rejoice over the downfall of the king (Isa 14:8). Jonah rejoiced for the plant that God caused to grow up over Jonah to give him shade (Jonah 4:6). The psalmist calls upon God to make those who seek him be glad (שׂוּש, śûš) and rejoice (śāmaḥ; Psa 70:4). The psalmist, in the midst of sorrow, prays to God to make him glad (Psa 86:4).
שָׂמֵח (śāmēaḥ). adj. happy, filled with joy. The state of being joyful or glad.
The term śāmēaḥ can be applied to God, people, and things. In Isaiah 24:7, the word is used to describe merry or joyful (śāmēaḥ) hearts that now sigh because of God’s judgment (Esth 5:9; Psa 16:9). The Israelites are to have a feast for seven days during the Festival of Booths and celebrate, for Yahweh will bless them and they will be joyful (śāmēaḥ; Deut 16:15). In Psalm 86:4, the psalmist prays for the Lord to give him a joyful (śāmēaḥ) soul. Those who mock the poor with joy will be punished (Prov 17:5). Amos rebukes those who are joyful over Lo-Debar (Amos 6:13). This adjective, like the related noun and verb from the same root, relate to having a joyful feeling.
שִׂמְחָה (śimḥâ). n. fem. joy, jubilation. The feeling or display of joy or jubilation.
This word is used for the joy of celebrations, as when the women of Israel meet King Saul and David as they returned from killing the Philistines (1 Sam 18:6). Laban complains to Jacob for leaving secretly because Laban would have sent him away with joy (śimḥâ) and singing (Gen 31:27). The Israelites have great joy (śimḥâ) on the day of Solomon’s coronation (1 Chr 29:22). The Philistines offer sacrifices and have joy (śimḥâ) over the capture of Samson, their enemy (Judg 16:23). The noun is used in relation to God and his deeds. Moses tells the Israelites that they will suffer the curses God has declared for rejecting the laws of their covenant with the Lord because they did not serve Yahweh with joy and a good heart (Deut 28:47). The word śimḥâ is the opposite of mourning, as when the psalmist celebrates that God has turned his mourning into dancing, loosed his sackcloth, and clothed him with joy (תְּאַזְּרֵנִי שִׂמְחָה, tĕʾazzĕrēnî śimḥâ; Psa 30:11). God gives gladness (śimḥâ) to the king when in God’s presence (Psa 21:6). Psalm 68:3 contains this verb, its related verb, and other verbs for rejoicing, when the psalmist prays that God would let the righteous rejoice before him. Like other words for joy, this noun can be used for human relations and activities as well as for joy connected to God and his deeds on behalf of his people.
שׂוּשׂ/שִׂישׂ (śûś/śîś). vb. to delight, rejoice. Rejoice in or over or take delight in someone or something.
The verb שׂוּשׂ (śûś) often occurs along with a preposition indicating what the object of rejoicing is. In Deuteronomy, it is used of God delighting in his people after he regathers them (Deut 30:9). Isaiah 65:18 illustrates the overlap in meaning among four words related to joy. The people are to rejoice and delight (שִׂישׂוּ וְגִילוּ, śîśû wĕgîlû) in what God has done or will do. God will create Jerusalem for rejoicing (גִּילָה, gîlâ) and its people for gladness (מָשׂוֹשׂ, māśôś; Isa 65:18). The psalmist in the midst of difficulty prays that those who seek God would rejoice in him (Psa 40:16). Like other verbs that mean “rejoice,” śûś can also have a negative use. Enemies rejoice over the misfortunes of an adversary, such as Zion’s enemies (Lam 1:21). This verb reflects the general aspects of joy, including a sense of gladness in God, in favorable experiences, and exulting over the adversity of an enemy.
מָשׂוֹשׂ (māśôś). n. joy, rejoicing, exultation. The joyfulness that accompanies music or is attached to or caused by something.
This term points to the feeling of gladness or joy and is connected primarily with places, especially Mount Zion, or inanimate objects. Zion is the joy (מְשׂוֹשׂ; mĕśôś) of the whole earth (Psa 48:3). Used mockingly, those who pass by Jerusalem after the Babylonians have destroyed it ask, “Is this the city of which it is said, ‘the joy of the whole earth?’ ” (Lam 2:15). When God brings his dispersed people back to Zion, he will make them an everlasting joy (Isa 60:15). Isaiah compares the rejoicing of a bridegroom to the way that God will rejoice over his people.
שָׂשׂוֹן (śāśôn). n. joy, jubilation. Joy or gladness that comes in response to God’s blessings.
The term שָׂשׂוֹן (sasŏn) may refer to joy that stems from human relations, such as the joy connected to the voice of the bride and bridegroom, which have ceased in the cities of Judah (Jer 33:10). It also refers to joy connected with God’s activity, such as anointing the king with the oil of joy (Psa 45:8). The psalmist longs to know again the joy that stems from God’s salvation (Psa 51:13). Psalm 105 celebrates what God has done for Israel, including bringing them out of Egypt “with joy” (Psa 105:43).
חָפֵץ (ḥāpēṣ). vb. to delight, take pleasure in. The core idea of this verb is to experience emotional delight.
This verb often stands in parallel with other words for joy or rejoicing such as רָצָה (rātsāh, “to delight”). However, חָפֵץ (ḥāpēṣ) expresses more emotional content. The verb חָפֵץ (ḥāpēṣ) can refer to delighting in a wide array of experiences and things and is used for both God and humans. Second Samuel 22 contains a song commemorating God’s deliverance of David from his enemies and from King Saul. In 2 Samuel 22:20, David says that God delivered him because God delighted in him. Nehemiah prayed that God would be attentive to the prayer of his servants who delight to fear God (Neh 1:11). God delights in “covenant love” (or “lovingkindness”; Mic 7:18) to display his righteousness by making the law great (Isa 42:21). The psalmist delights in the pathway of God’s commandments (Psa 119:35). Men have delight in women. Shechem delighted in Jacob’s daughter Dinah (Gen 34:19). The women viewed by King Ahasuerus were only brought back to him if he delighted in them (Esth 2:14). Joab said that David delighted in taking a census (2 Sam 24:1–9). To the extent that delighting in or being pleased by something is similar to the feeling of joy, ḥāpēṣ is similar to joy because God or humans can delight in people or things.
חֵפֶץ (ḥēpeṣ). n. masc. delight, joy. The joy or delight that one experiences and which comes from someone or something.
This noun applies to a wide range of things. The psalmist speaks of the blessedness of the one who has delight in the law of Yahweh (Psa 1:2). All delightful things cannot compare with wisdom (Prov 8:11). In the future, all nations will come to Israel’s land of delight (Mal 3:12). Hosea declares that Israel has been scattered among the nations and is now like a vessel or jar in which no one has delight (Hos 8:8).
חָפֵץ (chāpēts). adj. delighting in, desiring. One who delights in someone or something, one who desires someone or something.
This adjective functions as a substantive and denotes to one who delights or desires. For example, Psalm 5:5 states that God is not a god who delights in evil. According to the psalmist, the works of Yahweh are studied by all who delight in them (Psa 111:2). God does not take pleasure or delight in the sacrifices of the people because of their spiritual condition (Isa 1:11). Like the verb, the adjective expresses the idea of one who desires something, whether persons or things.
רָנַן (rānah). vb. rejoice, cry out, shout for joy. Shout or cry out (for joy).
The shouting or crying out can be done by an individual, such as the barren woman in Isa 54:1, or by a group as in Lev 9:24. Zephaniah 3:14 exhorts the daughter of Zion to shout for joy; this passage uses several terms for joy and rejoicing, beginning with the imperative רָנִּי (rānî, “shout for joy”; compare Zech 2:10). The instruction in Lam 2:19 to cry out shows that this verb is not solely for joyous crying out. This verb expresses rejoicing or shouting out for joy. The negative side of it, crying out in pain or suffering, however, is not part of the semantic domain of joy. These senses of the verb are also present in the related noun רִנָּה (rināh, “shout of joy”).
גִּיל (gîl). vb. to shout in exultation, rejoice. The core idea of this verb is to rejoice in response to God and his deeds.
In Zechariah 9:9, the daughter of Zion is told to shout for joy (גִּילִי, gîîl). One day God will increase the joy of the people to be like those who rejoice in dividing the spoil (Isa 9:2). Often used in parallel with other words for joy or rejoicing, gîl is frequently connected with what God has done for his people, often using Jerusalem as a metonym for his people. Other inanimate things also rejoice. In Isaiah 49:13, the heavens are told to shout for joy, the earth to rejoice, and the mountains to break forth with a shout of joy. Zephaniah prophesies that God will rejoice over his people with shouts of joy (Zeph 3:17). Used in a negative way, the Chaldeans rejoice over taking captives (Hab 1:15). The psalmist prays for God’s help in order that his enemies do not rejoice when they have overcome him (Psa 13:4 [13:5]).
New Testament
χαρά (chara). n. joy. The experience of gladness.
In the NT, the term chara often denotes a primary response to the reception of the event of eschatological salvation by human beings. There are other cases in which joy is attributed to God or his representatives. The term chara often comes as a result of people experiencing God’s presence by the Holy Spirit. Joy is part of the fruit of the Spirit’s presence and work in the lives of believers (Gal 5:22). Joy enables believers to endure trials and suffering of the Christian life. The Thessalonians received the Word “with much suffering and with the joy of the Holy Spirit,” which probably means joy given by the Holy Spirit (1 Thess 1:6). At the same time, believers are to count their difficulties as joy (χαρὰν, charan; Jas 1:2), and God gives joy along with patient endurance (Col 1:11). In an analogy between parental discipline and God’s discipline, the author of Hebrews acknowledges that discipline does not seem to be joy (Heb 12:11). Joy is connected with and is an evidence of faith (Phil 1:25). For example, Peter tells his audience that though they do not see Jesus Christ, they believe and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and full of glory (1 Pet 1:8). Paul experiences joy when he prays for believers (Phil 1:4). Jesus teaches that one who finds the kingdom of God will, with great joy, give up all of one’s possessions to gain it (Matt 13:44). Chara thus refers to both an internal emotional response and an action that one does. In both ways, this noun is similar to many other words for joy.
χαίρω (chairō). vb. rejoice, be glad. Be in a state of gladness, happiness, or well-being.
The kind of rejoicing the term chairō denotes is not only a feeling and expression of joy but also an action one chooses. For instance, Paul exhorts his believers to “rejoice with those who rejoice (χαίρειν μετὰ χαιρόντων, chairein meta chairontōn)” (Rom 12:15). Like other verbs for rejoicing, chairō can be used in a positive way (e.g., 1 Cor 13:6) and in a negative way (e.g., Rev 11:10). Jesus’ disciples are instructed to rejoice when they are persecuted (Matt 5:12; Luke 5:23) and believers are to rejoice as they share in the sufferings that Christ experienced (1 Pet 4:13). While the world may rejoice now, when Jesus returns to the disciples they will rejoice (John 16:20–22). Paul exhorts believers to rejoice in the Lord (χαίρετε ἐν κυρίῳ, chairete en kyriō; Phil 3:1). This again emphasizes that joy or rejoicing is the appropriate response to what God has done. Philippians 4:4 suggests that the believers who are at Philippi need extra encouragement to choose to rejoice, as Paul says it twice: “Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say, ‘Rejoice.’ ” The stress that this rejoicing is in the Lord implies gratitude for what God has done for them. As with other biblical words for rejoicing, chairō has both positive and negative uses, points both to an emotional state and a chosen behavior, and can be a response to people, things, events, and is especially connected with God and his actions among humans.
εὐφροσύνη (euphrosynē). n. joy, gladness, cheerfulness. State of joyful happiness.
This word, frequent in the LXX, occurs only twice in the NT. The term appears in Acts 2:28 as part of Peter’s Pentecost speech, which interprets Ps 16 as a psalm about the resurrection of Christ. Thus, Acts 2:28 uses the term euphrosynē because it cites the Septuagint, which translates the Hebrew שִׂמְחָה (śimḥâ) with euphrosynē. The other instance is in Acts 14:17. Paul tells the inhabitants of Lystra that God fills their hearts with joy. These two examples present εὐφροσύνη (euphrosynē) as one of many Greek words for joy that relate to an emotional state.
εὐφραίνω (euphrainō). vb. gladden, cheer up, be glad, enjoy, celebrate. Make someone glad or happy; be glad.
This word is often connected to food, as in the parable of the rich fool (Luke 12:19), Stephen’s reference to the golden calf incident, and the celebration held because the lost son returned (Luke 15:23–24, 29). Several references show that being glad and celebrating are responses to what God has done in the world (e.g., Rom 15:10). The verb is used negatively in Revelation for inappropriate human rejoicing (Rev 11:10), and twice the heavens and those who dwell in them are told to rejoice because of the woes taking place upon the earth (Rev 12:12; 18:20). Most often euphrainō is linked to humans in relationship to God, indicating as other words for joy do, that God is the source of joy and rejoicing for humans, most often flowing from experiencing God’s presence or his saving acts.
ἀγαλλιάω (agalliaō). vb. to be overjoyed, glad, extremely joyful. The state of experiencing such great joy and gladness that it is expressed outwardly.
The verb agalliaō and the related noun ἀγαλλίασις (agalliasis) refer to joy that is expressed outwardly. These words are only used in biblical and ecclesiastical writings. The rejoicing or joy that this word points to can be experienced in the present, such as Luke’s recording of Mary’s song in which she declares, “My spirit rejoices in God” (Luke 1:47). The Philippian jailer rejoiced greatly that he and his household had come to believe in God (Acts 16:34; 1 Pet 1:8). At other times it is clearly something for the future eschatological consummation of all things (e.g., Rev 19:7). This word is basically synonymous with other words for being joyful in the NT, but it has the sense of “great joy,” and that joy generally is displayed in some way.
ἀγαλλίασις (agalliasis). n. extreme joy, be extremely joyful, extreme gladness, rejoicing greatly. State of intense joy and gladness, often expressed verbally or through bodily movement.
This noun is used five times in the NT. Gabriel tells Zechariah that there will be “joy and great gladness (χαρά σοι καὶ ἀγαλλίασις; chara kai agalliasis)” at John’s birth (Luke 1:14, 44). In Luke’s description of the events that followed the Holy Spirit being poured out at Pentecost, he says that they were continually in the temple, breaking bread from house to house and sharing food in or with great gladness (ἐν ἀγαλλιάσει, en agalliasai) and humility of heart (Acts 2:46).
συγχαίρω (synchairō). vb. to enjoy with, rejoice with. The state of experiencing joy or enjoyment together with someone.
This verb points to a communal time of rejoicing, usually in response to an event. For example, Elizabeth’s neighbors and kin rejoice with her at the birth of her baby (Luke 1:58). This verb also appears twice in Luke 15. The shepherd who finds his lost sheep and the woman who finds her lost coin call people to rejoice with them (Luke 15:6, 9). There are also times when this word seems to be equivalent to χαίρω (chairō), as when Paul says that love does not rejoice at evil but rejoices in the truth (1 Cor 13:6).
εὐδοκέω (eudokeō). vb. to be pleased with, take pleasure in. Be pleased with someone or something because the person or thing leads to pleasure.
The verb eudokeō typically means to be well pleased with something or delighting in it. One important use is for God’s approval of Jesus. Twice in Matthew’s Gospel, God speaks from heaven and declares that Jesus is God’s beloved Son, in whom he is well pleased—an allusion to Psa 2 (compare 2 Pet 1:17). In Matthew 12:17–18, after Jesus has healed many people and told his followers not to tell anyone what he has done, Matthew says that Jesus has fulfilled the Scriptures and cites Isa 42:1, which refers to the Servant of Yahweh as one who is chosen and well pleasing to God (compare Mark 1:11; Luke 3:22). The verb eudokeō also can mean to consider something good and therefore worthy of being chosen. God determines to save those who believe through the foolishness of preaching (1 Cor 1:21). Paul employs this verb with negation to say that God was not pleased with those in the wilderness (1 Cor 10:5). Similarly, the author of Hebrews cites Hab 2:4 to say that God is not pleased with those who do not continue in faith (Heb 10:38). In his response to false teaching at Colossae, Paul issues the (somewhat enigmatic) statement that all the fullness was pleased to dwell in Jesus (Col 1:19).
Kenneth D. Litwak, “Joy,” ed. Douglas Mangum et al., Lexham Theological Wordbook, Lexham Bible Reference Series (Bellingham, WA: Lexham Press, 2014).
From an older time (OK, a few decades), now since revised (by the Cedarmont Kids), a simple hymn tune about joy down in one’s heart. A joy that comes from the soul, upward and outwards, and not of oneself, but of one’s faith…
I sung that song many times many decades ago. But I still remember the words.
Wow that one takes me back 🙂
TY for sharing this very thorough treatment 🙂
From my point of view, happiness seems to relate to circumstances. Joy seems to reside within us, and is directly related to a relationship with God.
And I find no reason not to pursue circumstances which lead to happiness, so long as it doesn’t interfere with ones relationship to God, the source of joy.
Because who doesn’t want to be both happy and joyful?
The problem comes when the source of happiness is sin. I think this may be why the people who are living in contradiction to God seem so joyless all the time. They have none of the peace and contentment which come from joy. Their lives are a frenetic pursuit of happiness (circumstances).
I think many are trying to find joy in paganism, a false religion. But paganism doesn’t require people to change their circumstances in any way to participate in it, so they can be “happy,” but they will never be joyful. I also think they are aware they are missing “something,” but they don’t understand what it is.
It does look like the definitions have been flipped.
They have. See my post responding about the masculine and feminine aspects of Hebrew because you may be on to something with your post about the Carnegie and Rockefellers
Not to mention C. Emerson Fosdick…
I think Al Capp had “Fearless Fosdick” as a parody of Dick Tracy for a reason…
Yeah, that’s weird.
Do not forget that the Carnegie and Rockefeller foundations were paying for PhDs in history in exchange for a promise to rewrite US History. I imagine they did the same for Graduates of Theology who would then go on to TEACH theology.
(Info care of G Edward Griffin)
Good grief!
I do not know that for sure, but it seems to fit the known facts and explains non religious Theologians. Not something you would expect in a ‘Christian Nation’
^^^ My gut says you just hit a grand slam on this issue. Do you realize the implications if true? Holy smokes!
This one issue alone undermines the intent of The Word. We can be assured there are others, where there is smoke there is fire. Their intent may have been to remove the pursuit of happiness written into the Bible as well as our founding documents – to undermine the connection our founding fathers and early citizens knew to be true with the nation’s founding.
The founders wrote the pursuit of happiness, not joy, and the vast majority were devout Christians. So that is the context, a condition of being blessed by God and not that of being gleeful and glad that is associated with joy; or they would have said pursuit of joy.
C. Emerson Fosdick and Rockefeller moved the “Overton Window” far to the left, so that middle-of-the-road Evangelical Christianity suddenly became right-wing-radical-fundamentalist-extremist-Bible-Thumping…..
Seems the Rockefellers were involved in destroying institutions and beliefs and faiths even back then (not to mention Dewey and Mann)(wonder about if he’s related to Michael Mann)…
So, it seems the early 1900s were bad for just about everyone.
Not to mention Woodrow Wilson and “Colonel” House back in 1912…(and earlier)…..
Add to that all the faux-religions birthed in the mid-late 1800s… (Mary Baker Eddy, I’m looking at YOU)…..
Good post. This link describes how they did it with Vanderbilt and the Methodist Church pre-Civil war among other topics.

Hmmm. Interesting.
I have a friend who belongs to a small church that has avoided 501c3 status at all costs because of the “control” aspect. They are probably wise.
Yes they are very very wise.
Not all churches have been infiltrated, but I have seen many who are ‘WOKE’ here in NC. We do a lot of church gigs so I notice who is and who is not.
Many around here have not incorporated for that very reason.
As DP puts into her posts every so often

Good lesson, TT. Thanks.
I think you are addressing the adage to love the sinner but hate the sin. Sinful people must be embraced, but as you said yesterday, the “go & sin no more” aspect of Christ’s message cannot be overlooked.
How we walk this out in the real world is through the wisdom imparted by God, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, & maintaining humility as we extend Christ’s love & compassion to those caught in sin, recognizing that we are all subject to stumbling & falling.
What we can’t/shouldn’t do is excuse the sin or embrace it when we embrace the sinners. Only God can help us to do this in ways that bring Him glory & bring great good to ourselves & others.
Galatians 6
New International Version
Doing Good to All
6 Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. 2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. 3 If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves. 4 Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, 5 for each one should carry their own load. 6 Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor.
7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Galatians%206&version=NIV
Yes, this is a good answer, thank you. Loving the sinner, but hating the sin.
I am just selfishly wanting one place I go to be peaceful and free of perversion. And so far, my church has no openly gay people, or anything like that. I have no idea how it would be addressed if some did show up.
I don’t hate the perverse ones, I really don’t. I just don’t want it in my face all the time.
That’s a very understandable perspective. My husband used to play worship w/ a guy who has now revealed that he thinks he’s a woman (has/had a wife & a couple kids). Now he wears dresses, uses a female name, & found a gay-friendly church where he can continue to lead worship…
It absolutely breaks my husband’s heart for this guy has/had a real anointing in worship ministry. He’s mostly cut himself off from anyone that would speak truth to him, even in gentle love. I don’t know if the church asked him to leave/step down or if he chose to go on his own not feeling “accepted” in his lifestyle choices, which he didn’t put on display at Michael’s church.
It’s impossible to understand the levels of deception people are choosing to surrender themselves to. Having such obvious perversions front & center in a church setting would be pretty upsetting to those w/ young kids & to the Christian culture-raised elderly & just the traditionally morally sound.
Unfortunately the youth & young adults are so heavily indoctrinated in cultural marxism that it might not phase them at all at this point though.
Hubby’s church went all in on covid crapola in the beginning of the scamdemic so we don’t have complete trust in their current leadership, fwiw. Michael mostly keeps his head down & does music ministry & mentoring of many of the musicians. I think they’ve toned down the more “woke” aspects of their approach, or at least have had it more behind the scenes now at least.
I have some big trust issues w/ organized church of late so my view is probably skewed by some of that, to be honest…
Sounds like you have good instincts.
What you do in the privacy of your own bedroom — between consenting ADULTS — is between you and God.
KEEP IT THAT WAY AND DO NOT RUB MY FACE IN IT!
AND KEEP AWAY FROM KIDS!!!
….
MAKING/SHAMING people into accepting openly gay acts is the first step towards making pedophilia ‘acceptable’ They have point blank said it.
This!
I know.
I used to have this attitude, too. But I began to realize that they WON’T keep it in the bedroom.
I think I figured out why. Deep down, they know they are wrong.
Attention seeking, which is what they are doing with their constant “displays,” is really about seeking reassurance that one is “okay.” They know somehow they are not okay, so they are acting out in hopes of receiving that reassurance.
At least, that’s my view.
My view is they are acting out because the Communists encourage it. Also because LBJ defanged the Church in the USA.
Interesting that so many folks don’t realize just what a crook LBJ was…
Would that we had generational memory so that we could see stuff over hundreds of years, instead of just two, three, or four decades…
Bubba Klint00n was bad, Øbløwhøle was bad, Carter was incompetent, Sleepy Creepy is both, yet LBJ did an enormous amount of damage most people either don’t know, or have forgotten…
He put the DEMON in DEMONRAT… along with Byrd, Warren, and others…….
Your stumbling block is one which afflicts most of the world’s population.
Church.
Yeah, I said it.
Look around you and see if the church people are worshiping the church. IOW they see it as the earthly destination for the faithful.
But it’s not. The earthly destination for the faithful is a repentant heart that worships God in all its ability. That heart is the Temple of God. Not a building made of man’s hand.
Go back to house meetings.
Our family “house church” meeting, against Witchmer “mandates”, was one of the best “church” services I’ve experienced in Many years!
😍
The Salvation Army, back in the “good old days” before they went woke, was founded as a church. They intentionally opened their ministries among the poor, the destitute, the drug-addled, the drunks, and the criminals…..because that is where the souls needed saving.
And then they were infiltrated… DARN IT!
Somebody has been paying attention to the call on her mind and heart.
Well done, sister. My take and that of the church congregation we are joining is the following.
To summarize we are to be lights into the world and do as Jesus did. That is scripturally supported. Did He bless non-believers at the point of them seeking His assistance? Yes. He made Himself available to all. Some became believers in Him as the Messiah and worshipped Him at that point, but others most likely did not. Luke 17:11-19 tells us an important story. One former leper was clearly in the boat, the other nine called into question their salvation even after they had been healed. Did they go back to their former lives? Probably.
The elect He called into action such as the disciples. For the masses it was up to them to come to Him once they heard about Him. So our role as believers is to invite others outside of His kingdom in to Christ’s church to give them the opportunity to find the same joy and peace believers have. It is not for us to become part of their ungodly sphere. To invite them in we have to be where they are and a trust as people needs to be developed.
Be in the world and exclude nobody from coming to Jesus or church. The nutrients of the environment are shared with the tares and the wheat. However, behavior and membership in His universal church or a local congregation of same has stipulations that must be followed that are clearly presented in The Word. Permitting behavior outside of scriptural bounds within the congregation is not acceptable. It leads to apostasy. Which is the condition we find throughout the Christian world today that the enemy has sown within the body.
To be sure the tares and wheat are separated at their harvest (death).
Amen & very well said!
Thank you for what you are bringing, Valerie.
YW, TB We’re having some Body ministry here the last couple days! God is so good to have drawn us together in Wolf’s epic Tree!
“Body ministry”? Is that where you run down sinners and tackle ’em?
LOL I guess that phrase could be interpreted from an even darker view too…oops!
Thanks, TB. That is very well reasoned. I appreciate you!
Back at you friend.
This needs to be repeated and remembered like Aubergine’s Razor.
“…However, behavior and membership in His universal church or a local congregation of same has stipulations that must be followed that are clearly presented in The Word. Permitting behavior outside of scriptural bounds within the congregation is not acceptable. It leads to apostasy. Which is the condition we find throughout the Christian world today that the enemy has sown within the body….”
At least a few of these issues are dealt with in Scripture, so we have an example to follow.
.
“Which led the pastor to explain that God will separate the tares (bad people) from the wheat (righteous people) when it is time. That it isn’t up to us to try to rip the tares (sinners) out of our midst.”
___________
Does that mean we allow unrepentant sinners to pervert and defile the Lord’s church, leading others away from Christ, leading other into following their sin?
It is His church, and we are members of it (hopefully).
See Revelation chapters 2 and 3, where Jesus directly addressed the 7 churches in Asia individually. Only two of them were not in danger. The other five were in danger of having their candlestick removed, i.e., they were in danger of apostasy.
What the churches addressed by Christ in Revelation were doing was far less egregious than what many churches are doing today.
.
“This led to angry emails and such, from people who I guess don’t want sinners in the church. But isn’t that where they need to be?”
“Jesus certainly associated with sinners. Shouldn’t we? But how far do we take that?”
______________
As guests, absolutely. Every Sunday and during weekly Bible study if possible. Come and hear the gospel, as often as they can. Ask questions and get Biblical answers. Hopefully they will hear, believe, repent, confess Christ, be baptized, remain faithful, and thereafter pray for forgiveness when we sin, because we have that avenue in Christ.
There is direct Scripture for all of the above.
Once someone becomes a member of the church, if he or she becomes entangled in unrepentant sin, and it becomes known to the leadership or to the congregation, it cannot be ignored or overlooked.
This is according to Scripture, it would be corrosive and harmful to the rest of the church. Members cannot be allowed to willfully or knowingly defy or rebel against the Lord and His church.
………………….
“Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.” (2 Thessalonians 3:6, KJV)
………………….
That is a command, in the name of Christ, by the Apostles of the Lord.
Which member of the Lord’s church has the authority to defy that command with regard to another member?
Who is it in reference to? To a ‘brother’, a member of the congregation, not an outsider, who is presumed to still be lost in sin.
Then we have the example in 1st Corinthians, where one of the members of the congregation was having a relationship with his father’s wife (presumably his stepmother, not his real mother).
……………………
“It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife. [2] And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you. [3] For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
[4] In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, [5] To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
[6] Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? [7] Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:” (1 Corinthians 5:1-7, KJV)
……………………
About once a year or so, our congregation has need to withdraw from someone, over some type of sin which the person in question refuses to repent of. If some sin comes to the attention of the congregation, the elders will follow Scripture.
…………………
“Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. [16] But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. [17] And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.” (Matthew 18:15-17, KJV)
…………………
If that is how we should handle a situation where a brother has trespassed against a brother, how much more so must the situation be addressed, if a brother is trespassing (sinning) against Christ?
The elders will speak with the person privately, review the conduct with an open Bible, and show them exactly what God’s Word says about it. Whatever the sin is, the issue is ultimately with God, it is God who they are sinning against. The elders will try to help them see and understand that. Hopefully that is enough to change the person’s heart and therefore, their conduct, and the matter is resolved.
The elders may work with the individual for some time, the hope and desire being that the errant member recognizes his error and repents.
For example, if a member has an addiction of some kind, and is sincerely trying to break the addiction, that is a good thing, and the elders would want to support and encourage that person as much as possible.
But if he or she is defiant and will not repent, if they are not even trying to turn away from their sin, then that member must be withdrawn from — until or unless the individual repents, at which point he or she should be welcomed back into the congregation.
As happened in the Scriptural example in 2nd Corinthians, in response to the problem mentioned in 1st Corinthians above. It appears that the individual was withdrawn from (essentially shunned, not permitted to attend worship services or partake of communion, etc.), because he would not repent of his sinful relationship with his father’s wife.
Here is the resolution in 2nd Corinthians, to the issue we learned about in 1st Corinthians:
……………..
“And I wrote this same unto you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all. [4] For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you.
[5] But if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all. [6] Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.
[7] So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow. [8] Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm your love toward him.
[9] For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things. [10] To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;
[11] Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” (2 Corinthians 2:3-11, KJV)
……………..
So church discipline was exercised by the congregation, and the member who was engaged in unrepentant sin was withdrawn from. Fortunately, this had the desired and hoped for effect. The person in question turned away from the sin, he repented of it, and Paul instructed the congregation to forgive him and welcome this previously errant brother back into the congregation.
That is what God’s Word says to do, that is how God’s Word says to deal with a situation where a member is engaged in unrepentant sin, so we follow God’s Word.
It is very simple, not complicated. It is not according to any doctrine or commandment or tradition of men, it is according to the Word of God — by command, by approved example, or by necessary (not possible, but necessary) inference.
Everyone in the congregation understands that the Head of Christ’s church is Jesus Christ, that Christ is the highest Authority there is or ever can be, and so we look to His Word and then follow it.
Many churches now, including mine, don’t offer “membership.” There are elders.
One wonders if they offer timeshares…..

Not familiar w/ this play but that moniker sounds pretty racy for high school! LOL
Yeah, it was a pretty racy role, actually. The play is L’il Abner.
OK TY–I’ve heard of L’il Abner but knew nothing about it 🙂
“Gen. Bullmoose : [talking about Appassionata von Climax] She works for me. She gets a salary, and she sort of lives in my house.
Li’l Abner Yokum : [to Appassionata von Climax] Really? Does that mean you gets bed and board, ma’m?
Appassionata Von Climax : Extremely!”
Wow that’s definitely racy for HS (back in the 80s?)….
I graduated in 1982.
Things were a LOT different back then.

CBDC – The End of All Freedom
Apparently, there is no Supreme Court decision deciding whether or not a President can unilaterally break a treaty:
In Goldwater v. Carter, Congress challenged the constitutionality of President Jimmy Carter‘s unilateral termination of a defense treaty with Taiwan.[37] The case went before the Supreme Court but was dismissed without hearing an oral argument by a majority of six Justices, on the grounds that “The issue at hand … was essentially a political question and could not be reviewed by the court, as Congress had not issued a formal opposition”; Justice Brennan dissented, arguing that the “issue of decision-making authority must be resolved as a matter of constitutional law, not political discretion” and therefore was subject to judicial review.
Presently, there is no Supreme Court ruling on whether the President has the power to break a treaty without the approval of Congress; it remains unclear which branch of government is empowered by the Constitution to terminate a treaty, much less the procedure for doing so.[38] In practice, a president may terminate a treaty unilaterally if permitted by said treaty’s terms.[39] President George W. Bush unilaterally withdrew the United States from the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty in 2002, six months after giving the required notice of intent,[40] but faced no judicial interference nor legal action.[39]

I know it’s Wikipedia, but this seems correct.
He doesn’t have to break any treaty.
He will be the CIC of the U.S. military.
If he chooses not to use the U.S. military to backstop NATO, then effectively, NATO ceases to exist.
Treaty or no treaty.
The criminal political-class is stupid.
Amen to that.
“But they are desperate to stop Trump. Congress, including the traitors pretending to be Republicans, passed legislation that NO president can withdraw the US from NATO.”

Good for those dopes.
Trump won’t need to withdraw from NATO.
He can just cut funding and/or announce to the world he supports NATO with his whole heart, but we won’t be sending U.S. troops to bail out the NATO globalists going forward.

I will write Donald J. Trump across my ballot with a Sharpie. And I won’t vote for anybody down ballot who doesn’t publicly fight like hell for DJT, either. So they’d better get their act together and figure this shit out, pronto.
Thats the clincher right there.
No down ballot Votes for ANYONE just bc they have an R unless they support maga. THAT should make them stop f n around.
I was hoping a ruling on one would stop all this nonsense.
The Supreme Court can and must put an end to it. ASAP.
Something a bit lighter in the news…maybe they made it up. Too stupid to contemplate.
Looks manufactured to me, to make a point. Maybe it will resonate with some.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…..
Wait….
Taylor not-so-swift?????????????
(ok, not THAT much of a resemblance, but still….. MK and all)….
It did seem a bit over the top with everyone there to play their part. But close enough for good humor and bafflement at the antics of the left.
I assume No One would click on that ignorance.
OR, perhaps I am less tolerant than some or most.
Headlines Screams, scroll on…
No, it’s funny. Really.
There was a guy in L.A. many years ago who had his girlfriend give him her pee so he could beat a drug screen.
A few days later, his probation officer showed up at his house with a cop. He opened the door and the cop told him to turn around and put his hands behind his back.
He complied while protesting, “What did I do?”
His probation officer said, “You’re under arrest for being pregnant.”
Sputtering, the guy managed to say, “Are you nuts? Guys can’t get pregnant.”
P.O. said, “That’s not what your pee test is telling us.”
One place I worked in the summers when I was in Uni had the obligatory random drug tests (being CA)…
One wiseacre poured orange juice and some water into the provided cup and gave it to the factory doc for analysis…
A few minutes later (as one might expect) he was fired on the spot…
Sounds like they have set themselves up for failure. Primary ballot? This is getting funny and since he’s on the ballot and you can pull the lever for him and then wait for what, the CO Supreme court to nullify a vote already taken in the event the US Supreme Court does not act. Am I reading this right? It sounds incredibly stupid. Unforseen something strange happening the Primary is Trump’s with or without CO. At this point I wonder if the US Supreme Court even cares what CO is going to do. Seems moot. 😆 Unless I’m reading something wrong…
you read right. This is a psych- op. The court is evil.
They haven’t learned that lies, smears, indictments, and trials just make more people support Trump. Removing his name from the ballot will not bode well for them. And certainly, nullifying any votes he gets in Colorado would be disastrous for the Left.
Closer look. Oh my, its a woman.
Persistent little bastards.
What in the world?
Did he blow-torch the locked bins so they would open? Then they let him take everything he wanted without stopping him and without locking the doors so he couldn’t exit. I suppose no one was allowed to have a gun.
