“Less crazy is still crazy.”

I always expect that response, more so from lawyers than anyone else. I was very skeptical myself when I first encountered it. I don’t know if you have seen me post here before, but I’m a fairly skeptical person 😁

Every person I’ve ever talked to about it, who didn’t already have some prior understanding, responded the way people did (and still do) when I talk to them about covid. If they are not prepared to hear it, they won’t.

They don’t (or can’t) present an argument against it, mostly because they haven’t looked at the information, and they don’t want to either, they just reject it out of hand, so we can’t even have a rational discussion about it.

When I first heard about what the woman in the video was talking about, I was interested. I am always interested in a way to get out of this prison without bars, that most people convince themselves we don’t live in. I was also very critical.

But consider the adversary, TPTB, the corrupt men who, through countless iterations of corruption, trial and error, for centuries, have designed the entire system in which we currently live, and all of the false constructs which we are either voluntarily or involuntarily bound by. Consider the track record of TPTB.

Consider their interest in hiding the truth about nearly every thing they do. Their entire system exists to keep the People in the dark, and powerless.

It is certainly worth exploring any potential weapon that could be used against them.

It reminds me of Bitcoin, in a way.

Most people are (as I was too) so dead set against it, without really learning about it or understanding it, that they reject it out of hand. I did the same. I missed it in 2010 when it was only pennies. I missed it again about four years later at the first halving, when it was around $50.

I am very stiff-necked, so I still rejected it even four years later, when it was a few hundred. Four years later (five years actually, 2021) it started to get my interest, as it went past $50,000. It had become harder not to notice.

So I began to look into it, for the first time. I’m not very smart, that’s why I waited until it was worth the price of a nice car, before I bothered to even think about it. I wasn’t interested when I could buy a thousand Bitcoin at a dollar each. If I was smart, I would have, and it would be worth $62 million dollars right now. [edit: $64 million dollars, if I had a thousand Bitcoin, the value would have gone up by two million dollars since I started writing this post.]

It’s not really about being smart (or not) though, it’s no different than anything else that people’s minds are not prepared to consider.

The entire Old Testament was preparation for the coming of Christ. In the New Testament, the testimony of John the Baptist, specifically, was to prepare the People for the teaching of Christ.

Imagine if Christ had just appeared, without warning or preparation, without the Old Testament having been written, and all the prophecies concerning Him, which He would fulfill.

To some extent, maybe a large extent, that is what every ‘new thing’ is like, if people do not have any prior knowledge or exposure. So they reject it out of hand, because their minds are not prepared to receive it.

They do not have ears to hear, or eyes to see, because (to them) it is a ‘new’ thing.

It’s not a criticism, but more of an observation, that people cannot see or hear what they don’t want to see or hear, or what they are not prepared to see or hear.

I don’t mean to imply that I have any immunity from it either, I don’t, except possibly to the extent that like all of us, since covid, I have noticed my preconceived notions about many things have turned out to be flat out wrong. So I try to be more suspicious now of preconceived notions that I have, or allow to form.

But it’s not easy to remember a thing that is not there, something that we don’t ‘see’, without reminding oneself that it is there — which is easy to forget 😁

And because I have zero trust or faith in human agencies of authority, or the traditions or institutions of men — because let’s face it, humanity’s track record is obscene and depraved and horrific — so I tend not to accept that things are the way they are for any good or practical reason, or that they should remain the way they are, just because that’s they way they have always been done before, at least during my time on this rock.

It reminds me of the parable of Grandma’s ham.

Going by memory, a little girl observed her Mom cutting off the end of a ham before putting it in the oven.

She asked her Mom why she did that. Her Mom answered that she didn’t know, that’s the way her Mom had always done it, so go ask your Grandma.

The little girl went to ask her Grandma, and she received the same answer, that was the way Grandma’s Mom had always done it, so she said go ask your Great Grandma.

The little girl asked her Great Grandma why she cut off the end of the ham before cooking it. Great Grandma answered “Because we were poor, and we didn’t have a baking pan big enough to cook the whole ham.”

This is what frustrates me about humanity. We are creatures of habit, and we are prone to following the doctrines, commandments and traditions of men.

They become our own commandments and doctrines and traditions, and we rarely question them. They become the prison bars to our invisible cell. And by our belief in those bars, and the way we confine ourselves within them, we compel everyone who comes after us to observe and do the same.

I want out.

I want to be free.
