Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. My Shepherd
“The Lord is my shepherd” comes from one of the most beloved of all passages of Scripture, the 23rd Psalm. In this passage and throughout the New Testament we learn that the Lord is our Shepherd in two ways. First, as the Good Shepherd, He laid down His life for His sheep and, second, His sheep know His voice and follow Him (John 10:11, 14).
In Psalm 23, God is using the analogy of sheep and their nature to describe us. Sheep have a natural tendency to wander off and get lost. As believers, we tend to do the same thing. It’s as Isaiah has said: “We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way” (Isaiah 53:6). When sheep go astray, they are in danger of getting lost, being attacked, even killing themselves by drowning or falling off cliffs.
Likewise, within our own nature there is a strong tendency to go astray (Romans 7:5; 8:8), following the lusts of our flesh and eyes and pursuing the pride of life (1 John 2:16). As such, we are like sheep wandering away from the Shepherd through our own futile self-remedies and attempts at self-righteousness. It’s our nature to drift away (Hebrews 2:1), to reject God, and to break His commandments. When we do this, we run the risk of getting lost, even forgetting the way back to God. Furthermore, when we turn away from the Lord, we soon find ourselves confronting one enemy after another who will attack us in numerous ways.
Sheep are basically helpless creatures who cannot survive long without a shepherd, upon whose care they are totally dependent. Likewise, like sheep, we are totally dependent upon the Lord to shepherd, protect, and care for us. Sheep are essentially dumb animals that do not learn well and are extremely difficult to train. They do not have good eyesight, nor do they hear well. They are very slow animals who cannot escape predators; they have no camouflage and no weapons for defense such as claws, sharp hooves, or powerful jaws.
Furthermore, sheep are easily frightened and become easily confused. In fact, they have been known to plunge blindly off a cliff following one after another. Shepherds in Bible times faced incredible dangers in caring for their sheep, putting their own lives at risk by battling wild animals such as wolves and lions who threatened the flock. David was just such a shepherd (1 Samuel 17:34–35). In order to be good shepherds, they had to be willing to lay down their lives for the sheep.
Jesus declared that He is our Shepherd and demonstrated it by giving His life for us. “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:28). Through His willing sacrifice, the Lord made salvation possible for all who come to Him in faith (John 3:16). In proclaiming that He is the good shepherd, Jesus speaks of “laying down” His life for His sheep (John 10:15, 17–18).
Like sheep, we, too, need a shepherd. Men are spiritually blind and lost in their sin. This is why Jesus spoke of the parable of the lost sheep (Luke 15:4–6). He is the Good Shepherd who laid down His life for us. He searches for us when we’re lost, to save us and to show us the way to eternal life (Luke 19:10). We tend to be like sheep, consumed with worry and fear, following after one another. By not following or listening to the Shepherd’s voice (John 10:27), we can be easily led astray by others to our own destruction. Jesus, the Good Shepherd, warns those who do not believe and listen to Him: “I did tell you, but you do not believe . . . you do not believe because you are not my sheep. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand” (John 10:25–28).
Psalm 23:1–3 tells us that the shepherd meets the sheep’s every need: food, water, rest, safety, and direction. When we as believers follow our Shepherd, we, too, know that we will have all we need. We will not lack the necessities of life, for He knows exactly what we need (Luke 12:22–30).
Sheep will not lie down when they are hungry, nor will they drink from fast-flowing streams. Sometimes the shepherd will temporarily dam up a stream so the sheep can quench their thirst. Psalm 23:2 speaks of leading the sheep “beside the quiet [stilled] waters.” The shepherd must lead his sheep because they cannot be driven. Instead, the sheep hear the voice of their shepherd and follow him—just as we listen to our Shepherd, Jesus Christ—in His Word and follow Him (John 10:3–5, 16, 27). And if a sheep does wander off, the shepherd will leave the flock in charge of his helpers and search for the lost animal (Matthew 9:36; 18:12–14; Luke 15:3–7).
In Psalm 23:3, the Hebrew word translated “paths” means “well-worn paths or ruts.” In other words, when sheep wander onto a new path, they start to explore it, which invariably leads them into trouble. This passage is closely akin to the warning in Hebrews 13:9: “Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings.” The apostle Paul also alludes to this idea in Ephesians 4:14.
Finally, the shepherd cares for the sheep because he loves them and wants to maintain his own good reputation as a faithful shepherd. As we’ve seen in Psalm 23, the analogy of the Lord as the Good Shepherd was also applied by Jesus in John chapter 10. In declaring that He is the shepherd of the sheep, Jesus is confirming that He is God. The Eternal God is our Shepherd. And we would not want it any other way.

One nuance that I have appreciated since I learned about it — “Thy rod and Thy staff” have very particular functions.
When a shepherd leads his flock, he goes before with a staff to show the way. It is a tall and visible implement. When planted, you are within the shepherd’s protection while the staff can still be seen.
By contrast, a shepherd might use a rod to divide a flock, to manage one sheep to pass a gate before another, to specifically guide away from a problem. It is a means of discipline — though not of punishment — the type of discipline that involves standing in line, walking and not running, going along a path in single file, or continuing to a bridge instead of wading a creek.
In the psalm, the speaker is comforted both by the knowledge given of the proper path, but also by the day-to-day corrections made to follow the path properly.

I’ve also heard another use for the rod. When a sheep is prone to wander & has done so many times, then the shepherd may use the rod to break it’s leg & carry the sheep on his shoulders until the sheep is healed. In so doing this ensures that that particular sheep will never wander far from its shepherd again. The picture at the end of the teaching reminds me of this loving discipline…

For one thing, nobody is going to schlep around a full-grown sheep, so this would have to be some thing to do with lambs — and would likely leave them as life-long cripples. It’s malware I’m dealing with. It began about 3 weeks ago. P.C. starts acting wonky. The last post I made last Tuesday was a short one, but it got so bad I was surprised it posted. A hard shutdown ensued.
(1) Try a malware scan. There are various free ones available (including at least one that is actual malware itself).
(2) Try reinstalling your browser — or installing a new one. Brave and Firefox are available across platforms.
I have malware scanning through my internet security suite (AVG), so that should be okay.
I suspect that the email address I’m using for posting is how I am being specifically targeted. I’m sure such capability is now in use.. I think that would imply ‘black hat’ actors.
I’m currently in the process of switching to a different operating system.

My office currently has an ongoing investigation as it relates to dominion CEO John Poulos, Dominion employees and contractors, Jocelyn Benson, Dana Nessle, J. Alex Halderman, and others. My department is in possession of sensitive documents that are part of an ongoing investigation involving Dominion employees. These Dominion employees directed, and tasks Serbian foreign nationals to remotely access the Michigan election system. I am not willing to compromise my investigation by providing my entire file. I am attaching to this affidavit several emails to demonstrate to this Honorable Court that this is a very serious ongoing investigation. The emails in my file cooperate evidence contained in expert reports in my possession. These expert reports prove foreign access to Michigan election equipment prior to certification of the November 3rd 2020 election. In addition to Dominion emails, I’m in possession of emails from J. Alex Halderman, SOS Jocelyn Benson’s expert witness on the Antrim County civil litigation. The e-mail from J. Alex Halderman offers to help the Dominion employees, the same ones tasking the foreign nationals to enter the Michigan election system prior to certification, by rebutting statements made by president trump on television. J. Alex Halderman failed to report and disclose the serious remote security breaches to the election equipment identified by expert experts on the Antrim County case, and he concealed and hid significant evidence that is addressed in the “Halderman Rebuttal” expert reports. Further, he incorrectly dismissed the vote shifting that occurred in Antrim blaming the local clerk for “human error” when in fact the correct, and corroborating vote shifting explanation as explained in the “Rebuttal Report” and corroborated with Dominion emails. [exhibit 1]. I intend to file a motion to Quash the subpoena attached as well as a civil lawsuit against the Muskegon County prosecutor D. J. Hilson for attempting to usurp my investigation. D. J. Hilson worked with AG Dana Nessel and successfully buried the Muskegon County fraud that is now under investigation by the FBI. The Muskegon County Prosecutor failed to appropriately prosecute as requested by the Muskegon Police Department. Moreover, this court should know that my office and our central dispatch had our network line go down on March 7th 2024 at about 4:00 AM through March 7th 2024 until approximately 5:23 PM. You can see why the Bible uses sheep to teach lessons. My above story was in the Middle East BTW, so the people of that region would understand ‘sheep’ while the American would not.

Yours Truly: If one is reading this study paper correctly, BOTH mice and HUMAN subjects were used in the experiments. The S1 spike protein that was “inserted” into the tomato plants is a copy of the spike protein in the original Wuhan Hu1 SARS-CoV-2 virus code. It appears that the mice were injected with a kind of “liquid version” of the “enhanced” tomato plant results. If one is reading this study paper correctly, the IgGs “neutralized” are the IgG3 “good” cells.
Further thought: If it is true that the TOMAVAC COVID-19 “edible vaccine” does indeed “neutralize” the IgG3 “good” cells (that fight off “enemy invader cells” in the body) — that would then indicate that these “good” IgG3 cells would be replaced with IgG4 cells (the “tolerate but never clear” immune system cells.)
They’ve been doing this with GMO foods for a while, with the excuse that they are “more nutritious”… There’s a special yellow GMO rice, and other plants (tomatoes, for one) that they’ve fiddled with at the behest of the UN and the WHO…

School leaders are now apologizing after a social media post went viral. The principal said it was a misunderstanding and that the school reversed its decision in 24 hours.
Cameron Blasek, a student at East Central High School, was pulled into the principal’s office over the situation. He said that they asked him to take it down or be threatened with insubordination. Blasek said that it wasn’t a problem all school year until now.
He put up the flag because he said it’s a unique way to show his pride for the country and pay respect to those who lost their lives fighting for his freedom. Blasek said the school admin asked him twice to remove it and twice he stood his ground.
“He said, ‘You got to take it down.’ And I said, ‘But there’s no written rules or anything about that in the Student Handbook.’ I even read off to him [the] student handbook and all the guidelines in there, the word flag isn’t even in there, aside from the flag twirling section,” Blasek said.
He said the school argued that since there wasn’t a written rule, it could enforce one on a case-by-case basis. He even said that the school tried to say that since his truck was on school property, the school had the right to ask him to take it down.
“Well, he’s like, ‘The school has a right to request that you remove the flag off the back of your vehicle.’ I said, ‘You’re right.’ I said, ‘The school does have a right to request that, but since it’s just a request, a request means that you’re not demanding or telling me that I have to. So, I’m going to decline your request,’” Blasek said.
Blasek said he still doesn’t know what prompted the request.
Principal Tom Black said no high school staff member or administrators stated or insinuated that the flag of the United States was offensive, nor has there ever been a complaint received about the U.S. flag. But, word still got around.
“People were sending me messages throughout the night and everything of everybody going out and buying flags left and right. I was getting messages. My phone was blowing up,” Blasek said. He said at least two dozen students donned flags. The school apologized adding that students are “allowed” to fly an American flag.
“That was kind of a shocker because I don’t see the “confusion” on you telling a student to take an American flag down off the back of their truck,” Blasek said. Blasek is planning on joining the military after high school. He said that he’s still deciding on which branch.
Principal Black said they tried to meet with students who displayed the flag to clarify, but weren’t able to meet with all of them before the viral post. He also said there’s no plan to change the school’s current handbook.

back in my elementary days, there were corner stores that had penny candy–gosh with a dime or a quarter–you could be queen (or king) of the neighborhood for a while. and the store owners had cool miniature paper bags and large displays of penny candies. they patiently waited while you made your coveted purchases too…
I was laughed at in high school for picking pennies up off the floor. The fact was, you could buy milk for 5 cents in the cafeteria back then, and there were often 10-20 of them on the floor. I could get more than that when I came across a (finished) game of pitching pennies. (I guess the winner was whoever got their penny closest to the wall.)
I still pick up pennies even though I have trouble bending over because of arthritis in my back and knees. It is amazing how much change is just left lying on the ground.

My opinion:
NEVER trust any photo on the internet, especially when someone is “proving” a point like this, EVER. That includes offerings of people who post here, who are capable of being fooled by such things and who will not entertain the idea that they, or their sources, could be mistaken. Further, they never admit when they are wrong, and they don’t apologize.People who are purportedly on our side will lie just so they can appear to be right.
People on the other side will lie to make us look like fools and to keep us running in circles trying to prove something that is false and/or immaterial.
In the pics you posted, the top one is either taken at a camera angle that makes his head look elongated, or someone has altered the photo to make it look that way.
As for the earlobes, lighting and camera angle and other factors can make various features appear different. Same for his nose. Plastic surgery has changed a number of things about his appearance over the years. So has aging.
I imagine that some photos of famous people are retouched before publication. Shadows might be removed, etc. That can also account for the appearance of differences.

One last thing: I am sometimes dumbfounded at the things people will claim are “exactly alike” or “absolutely different,” as well as people’s believing that anyone could be fooled by an imposter, up close and personal. I don’t understand how anyone could think that all of JB’s thousands of acquaintances have been fooled, or, alternatively, that they all know that’s not really him and have kept silent. Does anyone believe that people who come in close contact with JB, and have for years, who are on the opposite end of the political spectrum from him, would be silent about changes in his appearance and questions about his true identity? Not one of those people has asked even one question that I’ve seen. No, it’s only sophomoric people on the internet. Just as a refresher.
Joe has a demonstrated stamina problem. Currently noted as the most vacationed US President in history, his most notable routines are his short work weeks and early lid times. With little energy but many engagements, it’s fair to think that an unscrupulous staff finding their boss often being ridiculed for these things might cheat, especially since they are Democrats it’s easy and they are trying desperately to make him appear as super human. <—the theory.

Now that is not to say Joe is not making more appearances. Problems are often worked from differing directions. So drug regimens are often suspected as well.

There is a difference between a disguise, which enables a person to appear before others as someone they are not, vs. making oneself INTO another person whom other people know well. That is what so many will not acknowledge. They continue to conflate disguises and impersonations.
It is only possible to fool people who know one well, from a distance. The moment a person speaks a few words, gestures, walks, etc., people will notice if something is off. And no one can act that convincingly because they do not have the same knowledge and experience base as the person they are impersonating.
As for JB being isolated, he still interacts with the press and members of Congress. I also have no doubt that serious journalists and Congresspeople and highly intelligent people have seen the cutesy “look what I found” posts on the internet. Those people could look into them if they thought there was reason for concern. They also have enough influence to have others investigate. Instead, they see them for what they are.
It would not surprise me to know that there are doubles or masked people impersonating JB from a distance to make him appear more active, as when riding a bike or in the presidential limo from a distance. But up close, no way. And that is the theory: that the person we see as JB in the White House is not him, and has not been him for a long time.
If you can tell me the reason for having someone impersonate him as a president with dementia, please do. I would like to understand the theory of how that helps the Dems.

There are ways to test this argument, but I can keep their argument afloat for another day. And it is an INTERESTING theory, but it has nothing to do with “Trump in charge”. In fact, it’s the opposite.
Biden could be in far worse shape than he appears publicly, but his handlers are fooling most of us, by using doubles, with the complete support of the deep state. As in, Joe Biden could be in such bad shape, that he’s totally unelectable. As in, if the public knew, the public would demand the 25th Amendment.
What if Biden is only healthy enough for 10% of his already light schedule?
What if he’s basically only good for one or two real events a week?

Your hypothesis fits in with what I’ve been saying. Doubles can be used on an as-needed, temporary basis.
I understand your point that they would want us to argue against that idea because it is exactly what they’re doing, but this has been going on for a long time. My argument from Day One of the JB fraudministration is that a) no, Trump is not still the president, and b) no, someone else has not taken JB’s place and is pretending to be him. That was true then, and I believe it is true now.
If he has reached the point where he can barely function and they are using doubles as much as possible now, that is not the hypothesis that people have been aruing all this time.
If they’re using doubles to shelter a mental cripple, his own people would be in on it. For those occasions where he has to meet an opponent, the situation can be classified and revealing it would then be subject to prison time. Or perhaps an appeal to patriotism might work (“Surely you don’t want our enemies to see how weak our leader is; they’d take advantage of it”).
It would still be damned tricky. But let’s assume for the sake of argument that this is true.

Has a double taken the place of JB from early on in his presidency, or even before that, to the extent that JB has not been in the White House? Because that has been the theory till now. No one says how that would work, or why. And then the subject gets subtly changed, as it has been here.
And those who push the impossible theories continue to spread them and influence others to accept them because there is not enough pushback of common sense and facts.

I can’t get into anyone’s head, of course. My impression is that some embrace a mentality that encompasses these characteristics:
• They are pursuing a mystery that others aren’t privy to and can’t see; therefore *they* are ______ in some way. I don’t know what adjective to use there — “superior” seems harsh. But I get the impression that they think they have the upper hand over others.
• They think those who “can’t see” are lacking in imagination or intellect. Again, that makes *them* superior in some way.
• They are so anxious to be proved right that they seem blinded to what is obvious, so they will never admit it.
• They relish the idea of being in a position to say “I told you so,” to the extent that they will never give up on their theories, even when they are shown to be false.
• They can’t support their theories with evidence or even reasonable explanations, so they ignore all requests to do so. That should be a major red flag.
• People in a group are much more disposed to seeing the other members in a positive light than to see what they are actually saying and doing. It happened “over there.” Within a day of beginning to read there, I could see that one had to tread lightly and be extremely careful even to ask questions of SD. Yet people have said they had no clue. Here, similar things get overlooked (and I’m not referring to Wolf, at all). Very few people look objectively at what is being said or done. It’s an interesting phenomenon.
Some might say disinformation is being pushed on purpose. I suppose that is always possible, and it is something to watch for. I would be willing to bet that disinformation is being pushed to those who probably unwittingly post it here.
The bottom line for me is that truth is willfully ignored. I have debunked several theories with hard facts; yet there has been no acknowledgment of that. No “I see what you mean” or “interesting point” or even “I’ll consider that.” Just a continual pushing of some of the most outlandish theories I’ve ever heard. And the more they are pushed here, the more people start to think they could be true. In my opinion, some are being led down a path of intellectual dishonesty and superstition, and are being dumbed down to the point where they don’t apply common sense or even real science anymore in some areas.
Here’s another possibly relevant (and possibly irrelevant) observation I’ve been making lately. When I go looking for atheist videos on Youtube, there are often “hits” for videos about how fundamentalist Christians are *especially* susceptible to wacky conspiracy theories. I’ve not watched any of them but I can just guess at the connections they try to draw.
As many good people as fall for the sorts of tripe you are discussing, they have plenty of data points. Connect “tripe” to “some evangelical who believes it” and they can make a case.
Of course they can use this to bury: a) the “conspiracy theories” that actually ARE true that we know about over here on the allegedly-far right, [note it doesn’t help when we post memes about how all conspiracy theories turn out to be right; no there’s plenty of ones that aren’t right and are ridiculous]. b) [also buried] are the absolute batshit silly things that so many of the non-religious and/or leftists believe.
There is no shortage of credulous people ANYWHERE on EITHER the political or religious spectrum.
What may or may not be new here is disinformation spread among the “other” side (whichever side that may be) for the sole purpose of making many of them look like damnfools to try to discredit all of them.
In my case I’ve argued against a few things…and the other party simply goes silent. Have I won? Have I convinced them and they just stop and maybe are too embarrassed to come out and say “I was wrong?” No. It turns out they’re still spewing the hogwash elsewhere, and the implication is I am a bad guy for silencing them here. It’s not my fault they can’t answer me with something substantive; maybe they should have an introspective moment and consider that maybe they’ve bought into some lie.
