Here at the Q tree we believe in the concept of CIVIL open free speech and the discussion that fleshes out ideas. When commenting and participating in the OPEN discussion on this thread all comments MUST NOT CONTAIN personal threats, baiting, name calling, or other anti-social words fomenting hate, violence or destruction. Our host Wolfm00n has strict rules about that.

Fellow tree dweller, the late Wheatie, gave us some good reminders on the basics of civility in political discourse:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone

Please, stock up on blanks for celebratory gunfire, be ready to swing from the chandeliers…and no messing with the nuclear weapons.

Those who have things to say that do not fit the generally accepted limits of “civil” discussion, Wolf has provided a venue known as the UTree. You’re welcome to visit over there and say hi to anyone hanging out over there. The “Rescue Thread” is also over there. In the event a rendezvous of the tree is needed, please check it out, as well as the newest rescue venue.

GENESIS 1:26–2:3

1 26Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.” 27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. 28And God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.” 29And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit; you shall have them for food. 30And to every beast of the earth, and to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so. 31And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, a sixth day. 2 1Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2And on the seventh day God finished his work which he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had done. 3So God blessed the seventh day and hallowed it, because on it God rested from all his work which he had done in creation.

So many settings of this one…so little time.

As always, prayers for the fight against that which seeks to enslave us are welcome.

Please include: President Donald Trump, the Q team, our soldiers in the field, special forces, tactical units, first responders and those working behind the scenes…and any and all people with family members in the hospital, COVID or not.

And…members of the QTree who no longer participate for one reason or another.

It is quite clear, as per Wolf’s message from July, that we are under spiritual attack. Building up a robust arsenal of prayer and discipline is a must in fighting the enemy and his minions.

In that spirit, the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel from Tuesday’s threads, and the Breastplate of St. Patrick, not to mention the Litany of Humility are favorites recommended by exorcists in spiritual warfare.

I will translate. She thinks that prevailing thought about the “Romantic imagination” of the years 1760-1860 is colored by capitalist ideology, and she wants to reinterpret it through the lens of Marxism. 🙄

What she wrote is grammatically correct, but she fails the test of making her writing readily comprehensible. She also fails the test of writing about something useful. 😅

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Ah, OK. Part of my confusion was not realizing that “Romantic Imagination” was a proper noun of some sort. Of course I’ve still never heard of it and I’m not sure I care enough to go look it up.

When I used the word ‘bafflegab’ I refered to this paper by Scott Armstrong.

(You used to be able to actually read the paper. It was hilarious.)

Bafflegab Pays by J. Scott Armstrong

Date Written: July 27, 2008

Abstract

“If you can’t convince them, confuse them.” Simply put, this is the advice that J. Scott Armstrong, a marketing professor at the Wharton School, coolly gives his fellow academics these days. It is based on his studies confirming what he calls the Dr. Fox hypothesis: “An unintelligible communication from a legitimate source in the recipient’s area of expertise will increase the recipient’s rating of the author’s competence.”

FOUND IT!! Thank You YANDEX! PDF

…. It is based on his studies confirming what he calls the Dr. Fox hypothesis: “An unintelligible communication from a legitimate source in the recipient’s area of expertise will increase the recipient’s rating of the author’s competence.”

Eight years ago, Dr. Myron L. Fox gave a celebrated one-hour talk, followed by a half hour discussion period, on “Mathematical Game Theory as Applied to Physician Education.” His audiences were professional groups, including psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and educators; afterward, on anonymous questionnaires, they said they found the lecture clear and stimulating.

Fox, in short, was a smashing success. He was also a complete phony—a professional actor whom three researchers had told to make up a lecture of double-talk, patching raw material from a Scientific American article into nonsequiturs and contradictory statements interspersed with jokes and meaningless references to unrelated topics.

(See “Newsline,” October 1973.)

To test whether such bafflegab also pays in print, Armstrong asked 20 management professors to rank the academic prestige of 10 management journals that had varying degrees of readability according to the well-known Flesch Reading Ease Test. Sure enough, the top-rated journal was the hardest to read; the lowest-rated one, the easiest….

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

I actually bought the Fashionable Nonsense book by Sokal and Bricmont (where they talk about successfully submitting a nonsense paper to a postmodernist social sciences journal).

One of the examples they cite is a paper that read “As one knows, ” followed by an utterly irrelevant set theory formula. They described that as “intellectual terrorism” because of course no one reading the paper would have any idea what that formula was, or realize it wasn’t relevant, but it made the authors look smart.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

A joke I heard a physics major tell: if there was some part of your thesis that seemed a bit iffy and you didn’t want it challenged during your oral presentation, you should, right beforehand, be sure to throw a formula with a cross product on the screen.

The board would be spending their time looking at their right hands trying to visualize what the formula was saying (cross products following the “right hand rule”), so you could quickly get past the next, weak point before they snapped out of it.

Sounds about right to me.

The Time article — “How Far Trump Would Go” — is really something spectacularly else.

TheseTruths
TheseTruths

On illegal immigration:

You would use the military inland as well as at the border?

Trump: I don’t think I’d have to do that. I think the National Guard would be able to do that. If they weren’t able to, then I’d use the military. You know, we have a different situation. We have millions of people now that we didn’t have two years ago.

Sir, the Posse Comitatus Act says that you can’t deploy the U.S. military against civilians. Would you override that?

comment image

Trump: Well, these aren’t civilians. These are people that aren’t legally in our country. This is an invasion of our country. An invasion like probably no country has ever seen before. They’re coming in by the millions. I believe we have 15 million now. And I think you’ll have 20 million by the time this ends. And that’s bigger than almost every state.

So you can see yourself using the military to address this?

Trump: I can see myself using the National Guard and, if necessary, I’d have to go a step further. We have to do whatever we have to do to stop the problem we have. Again, we have a major force that’s forming in our country, when you see that over the last three weeks, 29,000 people came in from China, and they’re all fighting age, and they’re mostly males. Yeah, you have to do what you have to do to stop crime and to stop what’s taking place at the border.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Beautiful! Trump is just machine-gunning the red pills right over their heads.

Gail Combs

IIRC, while the US Armed forces can not be used as a ‘POLICING FORCE’ they CAN be used in surveillance.

From the Congressional Research Service:

The Posse Comitatus Act and Related Matters: The Use of the Military to Execute Civilian Law (73 pages)
Updated November 6, 2018

A very small part of the summary:

Summary

The Constitution permits Congress to authorize the use of the militia “to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and 👉repel Invasions.👈

And it guarantees the states protection against invasion or usurpation of their “republican form of government,” and, upon the request of the state legislature, against “domestic violence.”

These constitutional provisions are reflected in the Insurrection Acts, which have been invoked numerous times both before and after passage of the Posse Comitatus Act, 18 U.S.C. Section 1385, in 1878.

Congress has also enacted a number of statutes that authorize the use of land and naval forces to execute their objective. The Posse Comitatus Act outlaws the willful use of any part of the Army or Air Force to execute the law unless expressly authorized by the Constitution or an act of Congress.

History supplies the grist for an argument that the Constitution prohibits military involvement in civilian affairs subject to only limited alterations by Congress or the President, but the courts do not appear to have ever accepted the argument unless violation of more explicit constitutional command could also be shown.

:wpds_arrow: The express statutory exceptions include the legislation that allows the President to use military force to suppress insurrection or to enforce federal authority, 10 U.S.C. Sections 251-255, and laws that permit the Department of Defense to provide federal, state and local police with information, equipment, and personnel, 10 U.S.C. §§ 271-284.

Case law indicates that “execution of the law” in violation of the Posse Comitatus Act occurs (a) when the Armed Forces perform tasks assigned to an organ of civil government, or (b) when the Armed Forces perform tasks assigned to them solely for purposes of civilian government….

:wpds_arrow: The express statutory exceptions include the legislation that allows the President to use military force to suppress insurrection or to enforce federal authority, 10 U.S.C. Sections 251-255, and laws that permit the Department of Defense to provide federal, state and local police with information, equipment, 👉and personnel,👈 10 U.S.C. §§ 271-284.

….

Remember we have LAWS on the books about LEGAL immigration that have been ignored.

Here is an overview by Cornell Law:

Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigration Responsibility Act

Overview

The Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 (IIRAIRA) strengthened U.S. immigration laws, adding penalties for undocumented immigrants who commit crimes while in the United States or who stay in the U.S. for statutorily defined periods of time.

The Act was designed to improve border control by imposing criminal penalties for racketeering, alien smuggling and the use or creation of fraudulent immigration-related documents and increasing interior enforcement by agencies charged with monitoring visa applications and visa abusers. The Act also allows for the deportation of undocumented immigrants who commit a misdemeanor or a felony.

The Act mandates that immigrants who are unlawfully present in the U.S. for 180 days but under 365 days must remain outside the United States for three years unless pardoned. If they remain in the United States for 365 days or more, they must stay outside the United States for ten years unless they obtain a waiver. However, if they return to the U.S. without the pardon, they must wait 10 years until they may apply for a waiver.

An article I came across while trying to find info:

What percentage of the US military is Democrat?
March 2, 2024 by Mike McMaken

According to a 2017 survey, approximately 24% of active-duty military members identified as Democrat.

Also remember that Capt Seth Keshel said** it was voting in REPUBLICAN COUNTIES, where most voter fraud occurred by turning an ACTUAL 14 point lead into a 5 point lead. The republicans won, so no one bothers to LOOK for fraud.

Walmart to shut all health clinics in US over lack of profitability

Companies such as Walmart, Walgreens, Amazon and CVS have expanded into providing healthcare services during the past five years, seeing opportunities in the highly fragmented U.S. system. But it has not been clear that consumers want such services from retailers or that they are profitable.

To the extent that this stops them from giving out vaxes like candy, maybe it’s a good thing.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

It’s a good thing, IMO. Returning medicine to doctors is where I think things should go!

TheseTruths

I agree.

cthulhu

With all due respect, I do not agree. Medicine should be returned to the people — a doctor is just a hired hand to help individuals pursue their own health.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

I do agree with that, as far a decision-making for individuals (medical freedom), but the other end of the “deal” (what things are being offered by doctors) is currently “big pharma and big government” in charge.

Doctors used to be higher in the totem pole than drug reps. Now it’s the reverse. And people are on the bottom. Patients need to be on top – but doctors need to be up there, too. They need to be more in control of their own practice of medicine. Their own choices about how THEY want to treat their patients.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

You’ve totally left out of this (probably for brevity) the ridiculousness of the way medical insurance operates, too.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Oh, yeah. What a minefield!

TheseTruths

Doctors used to be higher in the totem pole than drug reps. Now it’s the reverse.

Yes, this is a problem.

They need to be more in control of their own practice of medicine. Their own choices about how THEY want to treat their patients.

This. I think these changes have been made on purpose to make doctors slaves of the 3-letter health agencies and to make medicine a cookie-cutter operation. That eliminates the skill and even the prestige of doctors, as well as the respect the public used to have. I think that, without the pressure of hospitals and agencies, more doctors would have spoken against the COVID vax and in favor of IVM and HCL.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

I think that, without the pressure of hospitals and agencies, more doctors would have spoken against the COVID vax and in favor of IVM and HCL

YES! Very much agreed.

Brave and Free

I’ve become friends recently with a retired Doctor, he retired at the beginning of Covid because of what he saw coming.
He told me he got spoken to once from the university where he was on staff. He was spending too much time with his patients , and he is in a highly specialized field.

Valerie Curren

sad 🙁

Brave and Free

Doctors used to be higher in the totem pole than drug reps. Now it’s the reverse.

The pharmacist replaced the Doctors in the retail end. IMO the drug reps saw an opportunity to convince the retail CEO’s to use the highly paid pharmacists in a new way. Plus all the FREE flu shots were money makers for retail which they never had before.

That’s what a saw anyway where I was employed.

Last edited 7 months ago by Brave and Free
TheseTruths

It might depend on the level of expertise people want in their “hired hands,” because a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. I have lost a great deal of trust in the medical profession over COVID, but I know there is no substitute for a well-educated, experienced, skilled practitioner who knows a lot more than I do.

I’ve heard of people self-treating because “what’s the doctor gonna do, anyway?” when they really needed a doctor’s expertise. Skin cancers get missed, etc. At the same time, people here give lots of good suggestions for health that most doctors would not recommend because it’s not part of their training. We have to know when a doctor is needed. And it’s my opinion that a person should have a doctor who knows their health history help them decide whether to take a vaccine. Maybe that wouldn’t apply in the case that Steve mentioned of routine vaxes for travel, but for other conditions, I think it would.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

I like people being able to self-test without a doctor. But remember – at the other end of those tests, is typically a specialist doctor looking at the results, and calling out any abnormal results.

TheseTruths

Yes, I like the ability to monitor one’s health with self-testing.

cthulhu

In other words, we can perform the sacrifice but have to call in a professional to read the entrails.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

that’s what reading the entrails entails now.

cthulhu

When I have blood tests done, I get the full printed results. The testing company clearly indicates the result and the normal range. I shouldn’t have to go to a doctor’s office to be told “X is low, Y is high, and Z is in the normal range.”

TheseTruths

I shouldn’t have to go to a doctor’s office to be told “X is low, Y is high, and Z is in the normal range.”

True. But there are situations where the totality of a blood test can give indications that something is going on and further testing would be wise. There is more to it than looking at the “normal range” columns.

cthulhu

While I understand this to be true in theory, my experience has been that doctors have their predetermined ideas and will interpret all evidence to line up with those ideas….despite a reasonable read leading somewhere completely different.

TheseTruths

I know some doctors who would agree with that assessment, but who themselves are excellent diagnosticians who think for themselves. It’s a shame that there are so many who seem to be automatons.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Very true. This is the normal scientific mindset – interpret the world though what we think are the rules.

What I’ve discovered is that providing important context to the doctors can change their minds to agree with me, much like one would change the mind of a fellow scientist by providing perspective (e.g., pointing them to new evidence). Often that context will include admitting any deviations from prior directives, or adding critical information about diet, unmentioned illnesses or complaints, etc.

Doctors learn that patients taking their health seriously can be a double-edged sword. Those patients are involved, which is desirable, but those same patients may choose to modify solutions.

cthulhu

As another example, I was referred to a GI specialist. First thing they wanted was a list of all medications and supplements I was taking. I normally blow these off, but…..so I listed them out.

She took one look and said, “you take too many supplements.”

A year-and-a-half later, on one of my lab tests, it comes back that I was on the low side of B12 and D. Part of the supplements I had been taking for years included hefty doses of B12 and D. I can just imagine how those would have looked if I weren’t taking “too many supplements.”

(She had also caught me when it was “cold-and-flu” season, so I was taking Quercetin, Zinc, and Selenium. I haven’t had a major cold-flu-or-covid in years — probably due to those “too many supplements” I was taking.)

She didn’t ask why I was taking each supplement, she just said I was taking too many.

That was enough to put me on guard. Subsequent behavior has led me to believe that she is totally worthless.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Obviously you shouldn’t have to go into a doctor to get a test result – it destroys the very idea of self-testing. However – like it or not – a doctor just told you what your results were – and if they thought it was normal or not – even if they just approved the process and the ranges and walked away, letting techs do everything.

It may have been cursory – it may have been automated – and it was definitely impersonal. But a doctor was involved in the test.

I actually get to see the names of the doctors who supervise my tests, and their written opinions of the results.

Yes – a tech ran the test – but it was set up by doctors, interpreted by doctors, and copied to my personal doctor. You can argue with the doctors about the results and what they mean, or you can simply ignore those doctors. I actually like having myself and two doctors looking at the results. What’s great is that my PCP very frequently overrules the testing doctor in terms of whether something needs to be worried about – and I myself have learned the same behavior, and may overrule my PCP. Although, to be honest, some of the time I’m right, but some of the time my PCP is right, and I learn the hard way.

I do like being in charge of my own health – and I’m ultimately in control of every pill that I swallow. I’m a very difficult patient in that regard. BUT I do like having doctors involved, so that mine is not the only mind working the problem.

cthulhu

When I left my previous doctor at age 40, I asked around the medical community before selecting a new PCP.

I got a new one and kept him for 14 years, until he closed his practice due to Obamacare. Since then, I’ve been on a cycle of new PCPs every year as “health insurance” has changed, and none have impressed me that much. My current one is tolerable, but I just received word that the State of California is dorking my insurance and I may not get to see him again.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

In my experience, my doctors have improved with age. I hope you can find one they will let you keep!

cthulhu

I hope to have better luck after moving next to a North Carolina medical school.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

THAT could be really good – and should be a selling point to the fiance. The Research Triangle area is one of the best places in the world to get excellent medical treatment of any kind.

cthulhu

Well, we’re right next to Stanford and UCSF now.

The problem is not at the excellence end, it’s at the bread-and-butter end…..and nobody can afford to live here and do bread-and-butter anything.

The PCP I was using, I had to drive 40 miles out into the boondocks to see…..because that’s where he could afford to live.

Yikes!

Gail Combs

True.

That is why I want the specific Clinic Hubby goes to.

Gail Combs

Well the UNC Family Medicine Practice, that Hubby goes to said they had NO RECORD of me, despite removing a possibly cancerous wart and other stuff. Since I had not been working, had NO INSURANCE, I had not seen a doctor for about 5 years so my records got tossed.

As a result, when I turned 65, they told me NOPE, we are not taking NEW patients…

Aside from my emergency visit for Covid Long haulers in Dec of 2018, I have not bothered to see a doctor since. I had been planning on going hunting for one again but then Covid mania hit.

In other words, we can perform the sacrifice but have to call in a professional to read the entrails.

😱 Is that your needle phobia speaking? 😉

cthulhu

When I was 40, I had a course of sulfa drugs to try to clear up a case of lung crud. After taking them a couple of days, I developed a fever. I went to the doctor and he ordered labs — so I went to the blood draw and ran labs, that were inconclusive.

The fever was getting higher, and I started breaking out in spots, so I went back in to the doctor and he wanted to run labs again.

I explained that this was a problem, and we should try to run as many labs as possible out of each blood draw so as to minimize the blood draws…..at which point, he informed me that the second round of labs would be the same labs as the first, just more recent.

I then went home, stopped the sulfa drugs, and was rid of the fever and the spots and that doctor within 48 hours.

There are none so blind as those who will not see.

TheseTruths

Yes, there are a lot of stories like this, unfortunately. I would have thought that your breaking out in spots after starting a sulfa drug would have been a major clue.

Unfortunately, there are bad apples in every bunch, and it taints entire professions.

I think that, in general, people are not being taught how to think. I suspect that in the case of doctors they also have their hands tied by all the regulatory agencies and insurance. But that doesn’t excuse missing a drug reaction.

cthulhu

Half my relatives are allergic to sulfa, and I initially missed the drug reaction because of an extremely delayed onset (and getting the fever well before I got the spots).

Gail Combs

GOOD GRIEF!

SPOTS + FEVER + SULFA DRUGS = ALLERGY

Allergies happen most often with sulfa antibiotics

That is as bad as the idiot who thought I had scarlet fever (I had eaten to many oranges) and also thought I had a psychosomatic rash (It was poison ivy) Luckily Mom got rid of the turkey!

Valerie Curren

My son recently discussed a skin condition he’s struggled with with Three different doctors. Each doctor diagnosed something different (for the same condition). Doc #3 explicitly outlined why #2’s diagnosis was Wrong so my son decided #3 was most likely correct & I think that was the dermatologist.

cthulhu

If I had immediately got the spots, then the fever, this would have been a shorter story.

Instead, I started the 10 days of sulfa drugs, then went on a trip where I could have been exposed to a variety of things. Got back from the trip and potentially incubated, then around day 6 showed a fever. Then did doc and first round test, then fever went up and saw doc with second round of tests. Went home and got spots on about day 9.

At which point I had the trifecta and took action myself.

The thing that got me (aside from mental fuzz from fever) was the lack of symptoms for the first five days.

Gail Combs

FWIW, My allergy doctor used this to explain my allergies:

Think of a glass 1/2 full of water = no symptoms. Each thing you are (mildly) allergic to adds more water to that glass until it over flows = symptoms.

So I can eat oranges. I can eat eggs. I can eat chocolate, I can eat green beans and melon….

BUT if it is pollen season, I maybe OK until I eat all of those in one day. Then MAJOR attack.

You are probably mildly allergic and something else set off the allergic reaction.

cthulhu

I used to have this thing where I could have red wine, chocolate, peanuts, or yellow cheese….but if I had 3 in one day, I’d reliably get a migraine.

I seem to have outgrown this a bit, but in my 30s-40s it was a thing.

Gail Combs

YUP!

I have to be careful about eating my ‘list’ of mildly allergic food . Unfortunately it is rather LOOOOooong. SIGHhhh

Luckily MEAT is not a problem except for crab.

Gail Combs

Wolfie, Self testing would cut down on the COST of medicine.

ALSO there has been a BLOOD TEST for cancer since the 1970s!!

At that time the doctor said it could not pick up WHERE the cancer was so it was useless. 🙄 (This is the same doctor who killed my Mom.)

I would think, given the advances, test for cancer and if you find it you can then look for indicators of WHERE it is.

Or just to a general treatment (Fenben + vit — HINT HINT)

Valerie Curren

Before my son’s liver transplant there was an imaging study of his liver, I forget why now, but they found it was filled with masses/tumors. A thorough doctor ordered a brain scan to look for possible encephalopathy & that’s when his pituitary adenoma was Incidentally discovered. Blood tests showed NO Markers for cancers (his liver masses were initially called “normal liver tissue” on biopsy, but later were reevaluated under new protocols & called “pre-cancerous” which is what ultimately put him on the transplant list).

A few years later, after the brain tumor had been removed (through his nostril) & after his liver transplant, I asked for referral to a tumor specialist to see if they would do a Full Body Scan, to confirm there were no further tumors that needed attention. They Refused to do such a scan, saying that his blood showed no tumor markers!

Given the KNOWN HISTORY of Tumors in the brain & liver and the fact that NONE of those tumors were revealed via bloodwork I found this refusal to scan Unconscionable!

His adenoma was of a type & location that made no sense based on his age & sex too…all his issues were Way Outside “typical” parameters, as was pretty usual for him…sigh.

Someone suggested that “they” don’t want to do full body scans because they don’t want to address issues that don’t reveal themselves per more normal diagnostic channels 😡

Walmart understands the entire Medicare/Medicaid system is going bust with the potential that the recent surge of 15 million invaders being added to the Medicare and Social Security rolls will result in reimbursement for their services being stopped. Simply said, they’ve decided that they are not going to be left holding the bag.

Cross winds on the invasion are beginning to be felt. While many are still trying to expand coverage (and those stories are numerous), some have begun to realize their is nothing to expand with and that instead pull backs are a must.

So it is not just happening with Walmart. States are reevaluating too.

I hate to see them go. For years I’ve used them for things that I’m sure already what it is like shingles, yeast infection, flu. I’ve gone in and said what I’m sure is happening and what medication has been effective in the past. Beyond a pee test or throat swab they don’t insist on a battery of tests. I can walk directly to the pharmacy and pick up the prescription and go home.
The doctor’s office is crowded, time consuming and I usually see the PA there same as at the CVS or Walgreens except that at the Dr’s office they always order a slew of blood tests and have to wait for antibiotic or other medication..which invariably is hwat I knew it would be.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

ONE DAY, SOMEDAY

Have you been abandoned and left alone
Is the pain so unbearable you’re thrown
It comes not from the body or the head
It comes spiritually inside instead

One day, someday you’ll discover that He
Will reveal more than imagined to be
Quit waiting for man to make it alright
Quit sitting on your bum get in the fight

Armor up daily and please pray pray pray
There really is no other possible way
We fight an enemy fierce and unseen
An enemy in plain sight ever been

Blind to the peril under which we survive
Unable to progress or even thrive
Twas not what God wanted or even planned
This surreptitious slavery under man

Some have claimed God could really care less
Despite her gifts ‘Merica is a mess
Look at what we accepted without a peep
How did we manage to get in so deep

The web the enemy cleverly weaved
Has cause devastation so bereaved
We’ve lost what we valued so dear to our hearts
Broken to pieces and left without parts

When will God move as He promised of old
When will He free us from bondage foretold
When will the fruits of the wicked be torn
When will our nation be no more forlorn

Someday soon you will see His Almighty Hand
Spread worldwide over the sky sea and land
The Trumpet will sound everyone will hear
There’ll be joy everywhere not a single tear

Republican Weakness Taught Democrats Power Works Better Than Persuasion

….Thus, the Jew-hatingterrorist-supporting mobs currently in the streets and on campuses may achieve their ends without convincing anyone. Intimidation often works as well as argument, if not better.

What they are demonstrating is not the righteousness of their cause, but that they have the power to work their will, from driving Jews off Columbia University’s campus to shutting down roads and bridges with no real consequences.

These efforts, of course, depend upon the acquiescence of those in official positions of authority, such as mayors, prosecutors, and university presidents, and securing this compliance is itself a further demonstration of power the radical left wields.

Leftists are granted far more leeway to disrupt, intimidate, and assault, and the consequences, if and when they finally come, tend to be minimal. Imagine the rapid, severe response if major roads and bridges in New York and San Francisco were blockaded by pro-lifers or gun-rights advocates. Contrast the relentless prosecutions of those involved (even marginally) with the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol and the leniency toward those who participated in the far more destructive Black Lives Matter riots of the previous summer.

As has been noted, this is not hypocrisy, but hierarchy. Leftists are allowed to break the rules,…

Well NO SCHIFF Dick Tracy, glad you caught up with the rest of us!

Of course the Republicans aren’t WEAK, they are, just like the Left GLOBALISTS willing to sell out our country AND WORSE they are two face LIARS  Judas goats.

AND THERE IT IS:

:wpds_arrow: ….After all, Donald Trump tweeted about law and order during the 2020 riots, but he didn’t impose it, even after federal buildings, including the White House, were besieged by violent mobs. The president does not have jurisdiction everywhere, but he could have done much more to at least defend federal property and personnel…..

If I interpret what Ivan Raiklin is saying correctly, The CAPITOL POLICE, run by Mayor ‘Give them room to destroy’ Bowser is in control of policing the capital grounds.

As we know ORDERS by POTUS Trump WERE IGNORED AND SUBVERTED by the Deep State that actually runs the US Government. I do not know the legal ins and outs of what POTUS can and can not do when it comes to enforcement or protection, but neither does this guy.

I DO KNOW the Left was trying to get Trump to come down hard on the protesters so the Fake News could shout HITLER!! FASCIST!! DICTATOR!! AND so Congress could run ANOTHER impeachment trial.

Aubergine

As regards vitamin D.

I tried an experiment on myself to see what would happen to my vitamin D numbers if I dropped my dosage from 10,000 iu per day over the winter to 5000 iu.

Last year, my blood work in April showed my vit. D level at 90, which I consider to be about perfect. I had been taking the 10,000 iu since September. Remember, the days get shorter starting the end of June. It’s warm, we are outside more, but by September the sun is lower in the sky (especially here), and the days are shortened considerably.

This year, I continued with the 5000 iu per day that I take all summer. My blood work that just came back showed my vitamin D level at 60!

Given my family history of osteoporosis, even my doctor told me to up my D intake. Of course, I intended to, anyway.

So, I proved, at least on myself, that 10,000 iu per day in the winter months is necessary. Each INDIVIDUAL should do a yearly blood test to check your D levels to see how much you need to be taking since we all are different.

So here’s the deal with the GEORGE SOROS “protesters” at UNC, Chapel Hill.

These “protesters” were organized by the Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP).
Dozens of the SOROS TENTS were pitched on the main UNC quad.
The American flag on the quad was taken down by the “protesters” and replaced with the Palestinian flag.
The UNC interim chancellor showed up (wearing suit and tie, thank you), watched as the Palestinian flag was removed, and watched as the American flag was re-hoisted onto the flagpole,
After he left, the “protesters” apparently TOOK THE AMERICAN FLAG DOWN AGAIN and AGAIN replaced it with the Palestinian flag.
It appears that this point, the police moved in, carefully and respectfully took down the American flag, folded it properly, and then secured the flagpole with fences.
The police also removed the SOROS TENTS from the quad.
The “protesters” then attempted to take over South Building on the UNC campus. They were told to cease and desist. Those who refused were arrested.

An example of the local coverage of the UNC Chapel Hill situation:

It seems that we are way ahead in terms of awareness than where we have been in the past with these kinds of protests. We already know exactly who is funding them. Law enforcement is stopping at least some of it. Parents are angry with the schools, and I think some donors are withdrawing their money. And they’re b.o.r.i.n.g 🙄, but not for the students who just want to attend college and their graduation ceremonies in peace.

I don’t know if this is an issue that will resonate with a segment of the larger population as much as BLM did. I can’t see this gaining Dem voters or even inspiring young people to get out and vote. I believe chaos is one goal, but I also think it is not spreading outside of the target areas. No doubt there are other plans in store.

Northwestern University has reached an agreement with pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel demonstrators that will see them take down their “Gaza solidarity encampment,” in one of the first such deals aimed at de-escalating protests that have rocked campuses across the US.
The students agreed to take down all but one of the nearly 100 tents erected on the school quad since Thursday.
In exchange, Northwestern has agreed to take several steps to expand student engagement in the school’s financial investments.
The protesters have demanded that the university divest from Israeli companies and cease partnerships with Israeli institutions.
Northwestern also agreed to fund the tuition of five Palestinian undergraduates and hire two visiting Palestinian faculty members in addition to providing a temporary space on campus for Middle Eastern and Muslim students until their existing house finishes renovation.
Jewish and pro-Israel groups slammed the agreement.

Big Development: Fractal Technology Uncovers the Central Nervous System of the Left – NGO Funding

3 years ago, Sheriff Clarke of Wisconsin asked the Fractal team to review the Wisconsin voter rolls – and the result was the Fractal Election Management application finding anomalies that cannot be found with current relational database.

The Fractal team is not a political activist organization – we are high tech guys – who saw a problem and offered a solution…

Fractal shows, in multiple videos on the Omega4America site – vast voter roll anomalies in place for over 20 years! Fractal showed thousands of voters at illegitimate addresses – FOR DECADES!

The Fractal ecosystem recognized delivering free, fair, transparent elections – is a fight against a multi-headed – hydra monster.

That monster includes contribution fraud groups and Dark Money NGOs operating under the cover of massive, interconnected financial networks – hidden in plain sight.

Harnessing the power of Fractal quantum technology, the team delivered the FEC Contribution System – identifying every contribution, from every person or group to every Federal level candidate – for the last 50 years.

With one click, there is total transparency – across 680,000,000 (six hundred eighty million) records.

For the first time, any contribution in the FEC database is visible, from a phone. State databases followed…

The results are so interconnected, artificial intelligence queries were brought in to trace money across connections.

The intricacy of these networks is simply breathtaking.

In the video below, one click shows the second level connections from just one NGO.

The numbers of connections run into the hundreds of thousands – most delivering Leftist money to Leftist causes – in every state.

Several election integrity groups are actively using the system to challenge the tax status of some of these groups where their records show they are receiving money from illegitimate sources or in other cases where they are spending money on prohibited activities.

The video is of ONE organization – when you see how large its network is – just imagine what we are finding looking at hundreds of thousands of such Dark Money groups.

Much more info at the link. The author criticizes systems of cleaning voter rolls as not being effective, but I think every means should be used in this fight.

Assange stated back before the pandemic that Trump goes to jail. Or how he stated it – “Thrown in the back of a paddy wagon.” He continues to state that he’s confined for a little bit of time – chaos does indeed ensure. Internet goes down. Nobody knows what is going on. Then Trump gets released and this whole show comes to an end. I watched the video of Assange explain this while deep diving on bitchute during the pandemic.

You’re right. I couldn’t find anything about Trump saying that. I found some Tik Toks that showed Trump and the statement about “shockwaves” but it wasn’t an actual quote from him.

ANY arrest would send a shockwave around the world.

In fact, people wouldn’t be able to handle it.

They should postpone any action, and spend the next 4 years trying to gently awaken people to the possibility that an arrest might happen.

Hmmm. It’s odd that this doesn’t seem to have circulated before.

Then Trump gets released and this whole show comes to an end” is vague and short on details. How and why would he be released, and how would that restore the internet and “end the whole show”?

It wouldn’t surprise me if Assange does (or did) think Trump would be incarcerated. I think that has been the goal. But I think it’s part of the larger goal to keep Trump out of the WH, and the Left might be waking up to the fact that their lawfare is helping him rather than hurting.

I tend to be “pics or it didn’t happen” on things like this. The video needs to be produced, which might be impossible at this point–if it ever existed. And even if Assange said those things, he is not a prophet. I don’t know if he is privy to the kind of information that would enable him to make such a prediction, factually rather than through opinion.

Vitamin D regulates microbiome-dependent cancer immunity

Editor’s summary

The gut microbiome has been shown to modulate the response of cancer patients to therapy, but precisely how microbiota affect anticancer immunity is still being elucidated. Giampazolias et al. report that vitamin D bioavailability in mice influences the composition of the gut microbiome (see the Perspective by Franco and McCoy). After dietary manipulation, vitamin D levels were observed to affect gut bacteria, which in turn improved cancer immunotherapy and antitumor immunity. In humans, low vitamin D levels were correlated with tumor development, and gene signatures of vitamin D activity were associated with improved patient responses to immunotherapy. These findings highlight the connection between vitamin D and the immune system through gut bacteria and may have applications for improving cancer therapies. —Priscilla N. Kelly

The Fordham University Administration had told Pro-Hamas Supporters and other Demonstrators within the Encampment established earlier inside of the Lincoln Center Campus that if they do not Immediately Vacate the Building, then they will face Arrest by the NYPD as well as Suspension from the School, with Former Alumni also being subjected to a Total Ban from School Grounds.

This morning, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Thomas Massie held a press conference to announce that they will move to vacate the Speaker next week. Each of them outlined how Johnson is working with Dems and giving Schumer everything he wants. Johnson has been endorsed by Hakeem Jeffries, which says it all. MTG thinks that if Johnson is left in place, we will lose the House in November. Link:

Given the RINOs this could be a BAD MOVE where we end up with an even WORSE RINO thanks to a RINO & Democrat move. OR even a DEMON-RAT speaker.

TheseTruths

This is always the dilemma, and it is what keeps people from standing up and doing the right thing. If you watch the press conference, Johnson has to go or I think we will definitely lose the House this fall. He is running the House hand-in-hand with Dems.

pgroup2

Everybody should have considered all the possibilities before they voted McCarthy in.

pgroup2

There are four or five RINOs ready to resign. Even two of them resigning will put the donkey party in the majority. Hakeem Jeffries will then be elected speaker.

side note – he will also be second in line to be POTUS.

Greene and Massie are making a bad move.

Gail Combs

EXACTLY!!

BASTARDS!
  :wpds_mad:

TheseTruths

They don’t want to lose any members, just have Johnson announce his intention to resign so the Repubs can elect a new speaker, as happened with McCarthy. Are you saying that if Johnson resigns as speaker, some RINOs will resign from Congress before the election?

pgroup2

It sure looks like it.

pgroup2

I didn’t say anything about Johnson resigning; only run-of-the-mill RINO reps.

TheseTruths

It’s just a vote to vacate the chair. The Dems love Johnson, so they will vote against it. And probably enough RINOs will too, so I doubt there will be any changes.

pgroup2

Why would the donkeys vote Johnson over their own guy? Sorry but that makes no sense to me.

Last edited 7 months ago by pgroup2
SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

ThesTruths is talking about the initial motion to vacate the chair, not the vote afterwards to see who becomes speaker.

Unless the dems are positive they can somehow get Jeffries into that speaker’s chair, a case can be made that they should do what they can to ensure Johnson stays there since he’s doing such a great job giving them what they want, and that would come to a halt during the tumultuous process of finding a false conservative the RINOs could live with.

Thank you for this. It confirms the discussions on this board some months ago regarding the use of RNA-based technology in animal “vaccines.”

Here’s the Merck website that talks about Sequivity:
http://www.merck-animal-health-usa.com/species/swine/sequivity

Please scroll down the page to the section “The Sequivity Process”.
There appears to be NO testing of the created RNA-based “vaccines” in the Sequivity line — instead, new RNA-based “swine vaccines” are made in 8 to 12 weeks simply by “plugging in” components into a “template.”

Everybody needs to pay attention to the above method for creating RNA-based swine “vaccines” — because THIS IS HOW THE “NEW FORMULA COVID-19 VACCINES” WILL BE MADE. THERE WILL BE NO HUMAN TESTING BEFORE THESE “VACCINES” ARE AUTHORIZED BY THE FDA.

James O’Keefe:

BREAKING – EXPOSING THE CIA: “So the agencies kind of, like, all got together and said, we’re not gonna tell Trump…Director of the CIA would keep [information from Trump]…” A project manager working in Cyber Operations for the @CIA and an @NSAGov

contractor with top-secret clearance working for @Deloitte, Amjad Fseisi, is caught on undercover cameras implicating the highest levels of the intelligence agencies, including “The executive staff. We’re talking about the director and his subordinates,” former CIA Directors “Gina Haspel….And I believe Mike Pompeo did the same thing too,” “kept information from him [Trump] because we knew he’d fucking disclose it.” Amjad reasons “There are certain people that would…give him a high-level overview but never give him any details. You know why? Because he’ll leak those details…He’s a Russian asset. He’s owned by the fucking Russians.” @mikepompeo

Amjad reveals to OMG’s Undercover American Swiper that intel agencies not only kept intelligence information from a sitting United States President and Commander-In-Chief, they also used FISA to spy on @realDonaldTrump

and his team and are still monitoring President Trump according to Amjad who says, “We monitor everything.” Amjad adds “we also have people that monitor his ex-wife. He likes to use burner phones” – information only an insider with access to highly sensitive information would state.

“We steal it [information]” and “We hack other countries just like that,” Amjad, who states he currently works on the CIA’s China Mission Center, explains how intel agencies obtain information. He also describes a broken intelligence system where “We don’t share information across agencies” because the CIA is “very reluctant” to share information with the “careless” NSA.

O’Keefe Media Group’s bombshell undercover footage supports earlier reports by investigative journalists Michael Shellenberger, Matt Taibbi, and Alex Gutentag that revealed how the American intelligence community illegally ran a spy operation against then-candidate Trump’s presidential campaign in 2016 and illegally acquired intelligence that was later used to justify the Federal Bureau of Investigation (@FBI) official probe, “Crossfire Hurricane,” which in turn led to Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation that ultimately did not find evidence of Russia collusion by the 2016 Trump campaign. @shellenberger @mtaibbi @galexybrane

Contractors like Fseisi hold the duty to withhold sharing confidential or national security information. In denying his statements, Fseisi may have realized he could be held liable for violating internal agency provisions and federal laws like the Executive Agency ethics provisions, which restrict what he may share with others outside of his contracted-to agency. Additionally, any government worker or agency head who withheld information from a superior (i.e. President Trump) may violate: (a) obstruction of justice by deception (18 USC 1512); (b) conspiracy to obstruct (18 USC 371); and false statements (18 USC 1001). Agency regulations may also provide offenses related to insubordination, reflecting poorly on the agency in public, or misrepresentation or dishonesty.

When James O’Keefe caught up with Amjad Fseisi on the streets of Washington, D.C., Fseisi could not tell O’Keefe whether he had top secret clearance, denied making statements clearly caught on camera, and would not even confirm it was him on the video saying only “It looks like me.” When asked directly if he works at the CIA, Fseisi said, “I can’t tell you that.”

A good article, but I’m scratching my head a little. On the one hand, he seems to be setting up the straw man that everyone was looking at China as the culprit in the election steal, so he can then knock down that straw man. But that doesn’t jibe with my experience of events at all.

I think that every bit of work that has been done on election fraud is valuable, whether it exposes Konnech or voting machines or ballot stuffing or mail-in ballot fraud or voter roll issues, etc. IMO Cates appears to denigrate those efforts. The public is much more aware now that it was in 2020, and that is to our advantage.

Cates:

Do you understand what I’m telling you here? People supposedly on our side have invested more than 3 1/2 years in ensuring you keep LOOKING IN THE WRONG DIRECTION when it comes to actually understanding how they stole it and who stole it.

I don’t see that at all. People investigating election fraud are not ensuring we not look in certain directions. They naturally emphasize the particular work they’re doing. We’ve known about Five Eyes and the issues with Ukraine, for example, for years. Cates’ statement makes those investigating voter fraud seem complicit in keeping information from the public. I definitely disagree with “supposedly on our side.”

Cates:

Trump knows which foreign entities it is who’ve spent decades playing the critical roles in fixing and stealing American elections – as well as buying control of our Congress, using our own laundered tax money to do it.

At this point, they realize he’s not planning on opening that dreaded Israel/Ukraine door until he’s safely back in the White House. This is just another reason you’ve been seeing all these over-the-top, nonsensical, rabid, and frantic lawfare efforts to sabotage and stop him.

The dreadful bastards at the CDC knew most of the information proving that the COVID-19 “vaccines” are dangerous and deadly BY THE END OF THE YEAR 2021.
The head of the CDC in 2021 was ROCHELLE WALENSKY.
The hyperlinked VAERS report on the MI death shows that the deceased had taken the MODERNA COVID-19 “vaccine”, mRNA-1273.
The MODERNA COVID-19 “vaccines” — all of them — have HIGHER amounts of the “vaccine” ingredients than do the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 “vaccines.” This does NOT mean that the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 “vaccines” are somehow “safer.” THEY ARE NOT. ALL OF THE COVID-19 “VACCINES” ARE DANGEROUS AND DEADLY.
