12waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be kindled and dissolved, and the elements will melt with fire! 13But according to his promise we wait for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. 14Therefore, beloved, since you wait for these, be zealous to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace. 15And count the forbearance of our Lord as salvation. So also our beloved brother Paul wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, 17You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, beware lest you be carried away with the error of lawless men and lose your own stability. 18But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

OK, I will admit that this could be an excellent move.

Aubergine

It will be fascinating.

Say whatever you want about Dr. Phil, the guy knows his stuff and he is fearless about probing into motivations and one’s inmost beliefs. This could be Trump’s best and most revealing interview ever.

Gail Combs

Wolfie,

Burning Bright (who was an MMA fighter) says Trump went to the fights in NJ right after the conviction. He was escorted OUT OF THE FIGHTERS LOCKER ROOM TO A STANDING OVATION! He was greeted as a friend by some of the top fighters too.

My computer is completely wonky right now or I would give you the time stamps. It was in the first hour probably ~ 20 to 30 mins

This a more or less politically neutral venue and it looks like Trump will be giving a interview to Joe Rogan who started in MMA and was there also.

https://rumble.com/v4z0zz8-defected-ep.-73.html

….

On top of that, Trump just gave an interview to Tim Pool (Libertarian) during the Libertarian convention.

So Trump IS going on Alt media too.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Oh, he does ALT media very, very well – and better all the time.

BUT he also does these inexplicable (and IMO backfire) interviews with the WORST SPIES AND LIARS in the MSM – people like Maggie Haberman – and the results are spun, diluted and lied about to not only damage Trump, by reinforcing bogus narratives with “Real Trump”(TM) presence and authority, but to keep these clowns RELEVANT and in charge of the left’s opinions.

Any interaction with the MSM should be highly public, a clear victory for Trump, and a loss for the left and the MSM.

Leftist journalists will never change. They need to be REPLACED, and it is their replacements who need to have their new relevance conferred by Trump.

Gail Combs

I have never studied the history of science in any systematic way, but it seems reasonable to assume that science would be the handmaiden of whoever provides the funding for research. I presume that the state has typically provided that funding with some minor additions from university and private sources. As the state accepts the role of primary funder it follows that science will then become an instrument of state policy. I conclude that the present lamentable state of scientific integrity was predictable.

I’m still working on the sshfs command. It’s part of the ssh ecosystem (which I’ve got working), but is somewhat akin to sftp, which makes it a bit annoying.

My invocation of ssh goes something like “ssh -i ~/.ssh/aa789/id_rsa -p 10XXX aa789@aa”, which nicely logs me into system aa on port 10XXX as user aa789 using my pre-arranged sshkey at ~/.ssh/aa789/id_rsa .

The general form of sshfs is supposed to be “sshfs user@host:/remote/path /local/path”, after which reading from /local/path gets you stuff at /remote/path and you can write to /local/path and have it show up in /remote/path. Seems easy enough, except that there is no “-i” option and “-p” is “-P”.

There’s even someone asking about the lack of -i at https://serverfault.com/questions/105976/sshfs-passwordless — although some of the responses there seem a little complicated.

I had a bit of a setback because I rebooted (all that video transcoding had left me running with full memory and swap) and something along the way shut off my firewall. As an interesting side note, if both your input and output are “default drop”, turning off your firewall effectively turns your network off — only the rules let things in-and-out and if the firewall is off, there are no rules.

computer verbiage loses me too, but I still enjoy reading along 🙃

cthulhu

I certainly recognize that it’s not everyone’s cup-o’-tea, and I always enjoy your comments — I’m glad that it provides some level of entertainment and amusement for you.

One of the frightening things about Linux (that started with UNIX) is that it is fundamentally based on rabbit-holes, beginning with the conceit that EVERYTHING is a file. You can open a keyboard to read, and open a printer to write; but you can also open a disk to read and open a network to write. From there, you can plug any output into any input, and take any input and send it anywhere.

While you’re sending all the ins and outs every which way, the precise ways that you send them is less important than getting them sent. I originally had thought to use NFS to read and write data onto a remote computer’s disk, but now I’m working on getting sshfs to do the job because it is more secure (but lower performance) and should be easier.

Back when I first encountered UNIX, you would frequently type things like “ls | more” — this takes the output of the “ls” command (lists files in a directory) and routes it to another command named “more” using a “pipe” — the character “|”. The “more” command would fill the screen once with output and then pause, so you could read that and ask for another screen’s worth. It has largely been replaced by a command named “less” which, among other things, allows you to back up. The explanation for the new name was “less is more”.

Because all the little pieces have to deal with everything in some sort of a reasonable fashion with people using pipes and redirects [e.g. “ls > lsfile” will make a new file named “lsfile” with the output of “ls” {if I said “ls >> lsfile”, then the output of “ls” would be added to the end of the file “lsfile”}], the pieces tend to do one thing well — and if you want to do that one thing in a slightly different way, you might find a different command to do it.

I was first dealing with UNIX way back in 1981, putting in about 10 hours a day with a girlfriend who was a Computer Science major. It is a long-term thing with me.

You are living proof that working with Linux alters one’s DNA.

OLD notes:

This is a talk to graduates at the Univ of Texas 20 years ago. Those cheering students are now doctors, lawyers and politicians. THINK ABOUT IT.

University of Texas professor Eric Pianka illustrates how supporters of the De-Pop Shot were GROOMED into going along with the MURDER of fellow humans ‘For the GREATER GOOD of SOCIETY and EARTH.’

Forrest Mims was in the audience and this is what he reported about that 2006 speech.

ERIC PIANKA RECEIVES STANDING OVATION ADVOCATING THE ELIMINATION OF 90 PERCENT OF EARTH’S POPULATION BY AIRBORNE EBOLA

I watched in amazement as a few hundred members of the Texas Academy of Science rose to their feet and gave a standing ovation to a speech that enthusiastically advocated the elimination of 90 percent of Earth’s population by airborne Ebola. The speech was given by Dr. Eric R. Pianka, the University of Texas evolutionary ecologist and lizard expert who the Academy named the 2006 Distinguished Texas Scientist.Something curious occurred a minute before Pianka began speaking.

An official of the Academy approached a video camera operator at the front of the auditorium and engaged him in animated conversation. The camera operator did not look pleased as he pointed the lens of the big camera to the ceiling and slowly walked away.

This curious incident came to mind a few minutes later when Professor Pianka began his speech by explaining that the general public is not yet ready to hear what he was about to tell us.

Because of many years of experience as a writer and editor, Pianka’s strange introduction and the TV camera incident raised a red flag in my mind. Suddenly I forgot that I was a member of the Texas Academy of Science and chairman of its Environmental Science Section. Instead, I grabbed a notepad so I could take on the role of science reporter.

:wpds_arrow: 𝕆𝕟𝕖 𝕠𝕗 ℙ𝕚𝕒𝕟𝕜𝕒’𝕤 𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕚𝕖𝕤𝕥 𝕡𝕠𝕚𝕟𝕥𝕤 𝕨𝕒𝕤 𝕒 𝕔𝕠𝕟𝕕𝕖𝕞𝕟𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 𝕠𝕗 𝕒𝕟𝕥𝕙𝕣𝕠𝕡𝕠𝕔𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕣𝕚𝕤𝕞, 𝕠𝕣 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕚𝕕𝕖𝕒 𝕥𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕙𝕦𝕞𝕒𝕟𝕜𝕚𝕟𝕕 𝕠𝕔𝕔𝕦𝕡𝕚𝕖𝕤 𝕒 𝕡𝕣𝕚𝕧𝕚𝕝𝕖𝕘𝕖𝕕 𝕡𝕠𝕤𝕚𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 𝕚𝕟 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕌𝕟𝕚𝕧𝕖𝕣𝕤𝕖.

He told a story about how a neighbor asked him what good the lizards are that he studies. He answered, “What good are you?”

Pianka hammered his point home by exclaiming, “We’re no better than bacteria!”

Pianka then began laying out his concerns about how human overpopulation is ruining the Earth. He presented a doomsday scenario in which he claimed that the sharp increase in human population since the beginning of the industrial age is devastating the planet. He warned that quick steps must be taken to restore the planet before it’s too late.

Saving the Earth with Ebola

Professor Pianka said the Earth as we know it will not survive without drastic measures. Then, and without presenting any data to justify this number, he asserted that the only feasible solution to saving the Earth is to reduce the population to 10 percent of the present number.

He then showed solutions for reducing the world’s population in the form of a slide depicting the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. War and famine would not do, he explained. Instead, disease offered the most efficient and fastest way to kill the billions that must soon die if the population crisis is to be solved.

Pianka then displayed a slide showing rows of human skulls, one of which had red lights flashing from its eye sockets.

AIDS is not an efficient killer, he explained, because it is too slow. His favorite candidate for eliminating 90 percent of the world’s population is airborne Ebola ( Ebola Reston ), because it is both highly lethal and it kills in days, instead of years. However, Professor Pianka did not mention that Ebola victims die a slow and torturous death as the virus initiates a cascade of biological calamities inside the victim that eventually liquefy the internal organs.

After praising the Ebola virus for its efficiency at killing, Pianka paused, leaned over the lectern, looked at us and carefully said, “We’ve got airborne 90 percent mortality in humans. Killing humans. Think about that.”….

The Banning of the camera was of course deliberate. It ALLOWED Pianka to ‘disavow’ the ‘INTERPRETATION’ of his speech by Forrest Mims.

This ‘walk back’ can be seen in this News Article:

Professor’s population speeches unnerve someHe says he’s issuing warning, but others see talk of pandemics as a threat.
By Laura Heinauer
AMERICAN-STATESMAN STAFF

Wednesday, April 05, 2006

University of Texas professor Eric Pianka’s enemies say he advocates wiping out 90 percent of the population and that his seemingly giddy obsession with death and disease coupled with power over young minds is dangerous and disturbing.

His supporters say while his rhetoric may be shocking at times, he’s just trying to get people to think about the consequences of uncontrolled population growth.

Eric Pianka, a UT professor since 1968, has given recent speeches where he says disease pandemics could wipe out 90 percent of the world’s population. Some critics say he’s promoting such a disaster.

“I’ve found that it takes courage to tell people what they don’t want to know,” Pianka, 67, said Tuesday, two days after a newspaper story in Seguin’s Gazette-Enterprise ignited a firestorm that has resulted in e-mail threats on Pianka’s life….

LOOK Who Owns Dominion Voting Systems: Politically Motivated PRIVATE Equity NY Hedge Fund

Staple Street owns Dominion and is a relatively small private equity company, who has not raised capital or had substantial new investors since 2014/2015 of about $200 million. But now after a rushed Delaware Corp., filing October 5, 2020, Staple notified U.S. SEC 10/08/20 they’re expecting $800 million minimum. Yet Staple Street’s website is suddenly shut down, except for the base page.

His deputy is James Baker III, who was US Secretary of State under George Bush senior. The financial assets of the Saudi Binladen Corporation (SBC) are also managed by the Carlyle Group. The Bin Laden family liquidated its holdings in Carlyle’s funds in October 2001, just after the September 11 attacks, when the connection of their family name to the Carlyle Group’s name became impolitic.

Many influential characters have worked for or invested in the group, including John Major, former UK Prime Minister;Fidel Ramos, former Philippines President; Park Tae Joon, former South Korean Prime Minister; Saudi Prince Al-Walid; Colin Powell, former Secretary of State; James Baker III, former Secretary of State; Caspar Weinberger, former Defense Secretary; Richard Darman, former White House Budget Director; the billionaire George Soros, and some bin Laden family members. You can add Alice Albright, daughter of Madeleine Albright, former Secretary of State; Arthur Lewitt, former SEC head; William Kennard, former head of the FCC, to this list. Finally, add in the Europeans: Karl Otto Pöhl, former Bundesbank president; Henri Martre, former president of Aerospatiale; and Bilderberg steering committee member Etienne Davignon.

In 2011, Carlyle acquired AlpInvest, which is one of the largest private equity investment managers globally with over €38 billion under management, AlpInvest has historically been the exclusive manager of private equity investments for the investment managers of two of the world’s largest pension funds Stichting Pensioenfonds ABP and Stichting Pensioenfonds Zorg en Welzijn.

Carlyle’s corporate private equity business has been one of the largest investors in leveraged buyout transactions over the decade 2004–2014 (or perhaps 2000–2010),Carlyle has invested in Accolade Wines, Booz Allen Hamilton, PA Consulting, Dex Media, Dunkin’ Brands, Supreme, Freescale Semiconductor, Getty Images, HCR ManorCare, Hertz, Kinder Morgan, Nielsen, United Defense, and other companies.

The Carlyle Group is known as Crony Capitalism and the Iron Triangle, the so-called iron-triangle refers to industry, govt and the military. The Carlyle Group is infamous for the number of ex-Govt and high-ranking political leaders who work for them.

Behind Dominion Voting is a huge swamp creature with tentacles all over the world, which is the reason behind election fraud and fake news. We can notice that in 2009, the former director of Carlyle founded Staple Street Capital, and William Kennard who is an Executive Board Member of Staple Street nominated as ambassador to the EU by Barack Obama in 2009. This may be related to Obama, and the Carlyle Group is accused of being related to the Bush family, which also reveals why Bush supports the Obama Biden administration….

Gail Combs

I think it may have to do with which is dominant audio vs visual. Are you sensitive to minute differences in sound? Or in minute visual differences.

Going back to antiquity, my SWAG is men, being hunters, are VISUAL and therefore more likely to be good at science and mechanics but not English.

Women, are much more in tune with the cries of a baby or a child. And in understanding the first words of a child. Also, not being the hunters, women are more likely to be hunted by animals or enemy men so they will use their ears to alert them to danger.

BREAKING Publication: Proximal Origin of Epidemic Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza H5N1 Clade 2.3.4.4b and Spread by Migratory Waterfowl
Published evidence suggests current outbreak came from a laboratory
The above circumstances prompted us to pose a question—namely, it is possible that HPAI H5N1 clade 2.3.4.4b evolved not in nature, but as a result of serial passage or other Gain-of-Function (GOF) research in a laboratory? The evidence we have uncovered thus far strongly raises the suspicion that this is indeed the case–specifically the U.S. National and Southeast Poultry Research Laboratory (SEPRL) Centers, Athens, GA. https://open.substack.com/pub/petermcculloughmd/p/bre

Wolfie, I have been putting all the H5N1 news under The Deagel Report.

We are now over 350 comments.

Do we want a separate article devoted to the H5N1 news?

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Do whatever you want!!! The only thing I will insist on is that we NEVER have a competing daily based on any propaganda from the other side (like the COVID daily). NEVER AGAIN.

Gail Combs

I just want a separate place to ‘park’ important comments on  H5N1 or disease X.

The Deagel Report: US Population Reduction of 68.5% by 2025
is getting a bit full!

Valerie Curren

It might make sense to have a basic H5N1 article since that situation is likely going to keep getting ramped up, at least until the election. Assuming Trump wins AGAIN in yet another (even larger) massive landslide, it remains to be seen if the Deep State will allow him to actually assume office again. If he’s sworn in then the demonic powers that be will probably try to hamstring him again w/ another health “emergency” to steal his legitimate presidential powers. Playbook & all 😡

Study that shows 74% of deaths were caused by COVID vaccines was scrubbed from the web within 24 hours

[QUOTE]
…because of blatant censorship, the study was removed within 24 hours.
The paper was awaiting peer-review and was written by respected cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough, Dr. Harvey Risch, a Yale University epidemiologist, and their colleagues in the Wellness Company.
The paper was published online on July 5, on the pre-print site of The Lancet, a prestigious medical journal. Less than 24 hours later, the COVID-19 study was removed with the following note: “This preprint has been removed by Preprints with the Lancet because the study’s conclusions are not supported by the study methodology.”….

What the study foundThe study revealed that the most implicated organ systems in COVID-19 vaccine-associated death were:

  • The cardiovascular system (53 percent)
  • The hematological system (17 percent)
  • The respiratory system (eight percent)
  • Multiple organ systems (seven percent)

The study also found that three or more organ systems were affected in 21 cases. The mean time from vaccination to death was 14.3 days.
Most deaths occurred within a week from the last vaccine administration. COVID-19 vaccination was found to be directly linked to or significantly contributed to a total of 240 deaths (73.9 percent).
The research team added that continued study will help clarify their findings…

I had a friend who worked for GM building Camaros and Firebirds in Van Nuys, CA in the early ’80s. He said the same thing but I vaguely remember him telling me that GM would discount the price of a new GM car for employees. Japanese and some German cars were still cheaper.

GM was too stingy to play tit-for-tat so employees bought cheaper cars.

Our Daily Bread “Thirsty and Thankful”
As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God.
Psalm 42:1
Today’s Scripture & Insight : Psalm 42:1-5
Two friends and I were checking off a bucket list item—hiking the Grand Canyon. We wondered if we had enough water as we started out our hike, and it ran out fast. We were completely out of water with still a ways to go to reach the rim. Panting, mixed with praying, set in. Then we rounded a corner and what we maintain as a miracle happened. We spotted three water bottles tucked in a cleft in the rock with a note: “Knew you’d need this. Enjoy!” We looked at each other in disbelief, whispered a thank-you to God, took a couple of much-needed sips, and then set out on the last stretch. I’ve never been so thirsty—and thankful—in my life.
The psalmist didn’t have a Grand Canyon experience, but it’s clear he knew how a deer acts when thirsty and possibly scared. The deer “pants” (Psalm 42:1), a word that brings to mind thirst and hunger, to the point where if something doesn’t change, you’re afraid you might die. The psalmist equates the deer’s degree of thirst to his desire for God: “so my soul pants for you, my God” (v. 1).
Like much-needed water, God is our ever-present help. We pant for Him because He brings renewed strength and refreshment to our weary lives, equipping us for whatever the day’s journey holds.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Thank you so much for your poem, and for all the wonderful inspirational things you bring to the board every day.
One can perform Works of the Law and Personal Effort all day long. However, without Faith in the Supreme Being, the first two can produce some positive effect — but not in total.
Works of the Law doesn’t just mean things like knowing every verse of the 24 Old Testament books that enumerate Jewish law, or knowing every word of every secular law of a particular country. IMO, it can also include things like knowing huge amounts of medical knowledge (as in a doctor using their knowledge to make decisions regarding a patient.) But without Faith in the Supreme Being, all of the above are impersonal and, in a sense, empty.

Prayers ongoing for you here and at Marica’s blog. Be well. Sending Good Energy to you.

I do not accept that Scripture supports the notion that believers in Christ will not be subject to judgment day [Justification poster].

Rather, I believe that all will be judged but that believers in Christ can each claim an individual pardon provided by His crucifixion and resurrection.

The Book of Revelation clearly discusses this: chapter 20, verse 11-15.

A TEST OF FAITH

The Bible says Faith cometh by hearing
Hearing by the Word of God is fearing
We must walk by Faith and thus not by sight
For by Grace thru Faith we are saved upright

Being justified by Faith we have peace
Thru Jesus, the Savior, our fear will cease
Not of ourselves Faith is a Gift of God
As long as our belief is strong not flawed

Faith cannot stand alone for without works
Faith benefits not if one’s works he shirks
We are helpers of our joy by Faith we stand
With the Spirit of God in our hearts manned

It’s easy to say you have Faith until
You are tested without Faith you stand still
How many times has Jesus said to they
Your Faith has saved you now be on your way

What is it He saw lived inside of them
What power was there in His garment hem
How could He heal people from far afield
What strength within was He able to wield

The trying of your Faith worketh patience
Patience is derived thru obeisance
A Virtue by perseverance put in place
A Virtue thru practice becomes a Grace

What is it that becomes a Test of Faith
Where can we acquire a Gift of Grace
By keeping His commands and adhering
To the Word of God that we are hearing

LOL ours is so small that Hubby & I rarely do tasks together within it. We redesigned it when we bought the house in the late 90’s & we got 65% more countertop & 75% more storage space than how it was for the prior owners. It has 3 access points from the dining room, hallway, & toward the backdoor & basement steps in maybe a 8X10 footprint w/ a slight 3X3 bump out toward the hallway crossed with a 2X5 “alcove” adjacent to the stairs. If No one moves you could Theoretically have about 4 workspaces going simultaneously, one at the stove, one next to the fridge on the countertop under the cabinet suspended microwave, one at the sink, & one at the countertop on the “L” from the sink (but standing in the walkway between the fridge door & countertop. If Anyone moves even slightly it would require some serious choreography. Since Hubby & I are Both Space People we save our marriage by not attempting to do simultaneous kitchen tasks as much as possible 😉 😉

It’s not quite as tight as this but we did have to offset the sink a few inches from center to install a full-size dishwasher. The previous owners had a portable dishwasher that they had on wheels & cut out a notch on the countertop to slide it under the counter across the kitchen 🙁 We should have taken before & after pictures for our version was/is Way Better, if I do say so myself 🙂

Small kitchen is fine as long as I have a BIG pantry!

I had 2 apartments, one in Germany and one in NH with a long narrow hall with cabinets and counter top on one side. The pantry/hall was connected to but not part of the kitchen.

Valerie Curren

Sounds a bit like a “butler’s pantry” we saw in this sweet 2 1/2 story Victorian we Really wanted to buy…sigh…

Aubergine

My current kitchen is so tiny I can’t have a table in it, much less chairs!

I don’t mind too much. The “main house,” which my daughter and grandkids live in, has the “big kitchen.” By big, I mean all of 12 x 11 feet.

Valerie Curren

We don’t have an eat-in kitchen either, but we do have a dining room & that might just be 10X10 but it’s adjacent to the living room so we can Sort-Of extend the table out that way–we have one of those Amish tables w/ 3 leaves & a nice metal teeth mechanism to open & close it–if we have a gang, up to 12 around that extended table but it’s quite tight…

holly

I love this kitchen. No granite, no stainless. 💖

cthulhu

We have granite and stainless in our kitchen (and an undermount sink), and the Fiancee could deal with nothing less at this point. We have cabinets in the laundry room with regular countertops (not solid surface) and she has caused them to come apart with judicious applications of moisture.

holly

Butcher block counters would probably not work for you if moisture is a problem. I recently purchased a new stove (gas) and had to pay extra to not get stainless. Appliance salespeople can’t understand not wanting stainless.

Barb Meier

I would like not having stainless and lighter color counters. I have both but couldn’t justify changing those out. I’ve long admired white sinks. Oooh ahhh…

We got a stock Kohler “executive chef” sink in one of the non-stock colors (a grey that seems to have been discontinued). White sinks are a pain. I fully agree on the countertops, however — ours is a custom granite with tight green and black swirls. Then, for a backsplash, we used Corian in their “Matterhorn” color. It all works together nicely.

The one thing I didn’t know about the Corian is that installers charge by the inch on the edges, and each electric plug hole cost a bunch (and we had a lot). It was such a shock that I almost wish we would have used granite for the backsplash, as it would not have been that much more money.

Valerie Curren

Don’t know why your comment brought this to mind but a while back I saw this video of how people created a very cool countertop by using epoxy (I think it was) in multiple stone looking colors. They poured these colors from buckets & strategically swirled things & sprinkled certain colors to give it some punch. It looked gorgeous when done, could be custom colored to one’s taste, & was Possibly slightly more economical than granite or Corian.

This is sort of what I saw before…pretty cool stuff!

cthulhu

I see we have a new post up. Will you do the honors?

I love my kitchen having two sinks. Whenever I do sell this property, I will probably miss that the most. LOL My kitchen needs more upper cabinets but it is hard to give that up because it would mean losing windows to the forest.

Retaining a beautiful view, if you are blessed enough to have one, is More Important than cupboard space, imo. Our kitchen window looks at our neighbor’s bathroom window just across the width of a driveway. The Cottage kitchen window overlooks the garden, a split wooden fence, & then the backs of a couple cottages the next street over. It’s a nice view of the ever changing wildlife, which I love, not to mention, fruits, veggies, & flowers! & the lake is also visible in the distance 😍

Valerie Curren

My parents have a fridge in their basement & one in the Northern Michigan Cottage garage that are both (I think) 1950’s era going strong. The one in their basement they bought used when they got married in 1962. According to Dad they guy they bought it from had all sorts of used & I believe refurbed fridges for sale on his property. Dad said he offered them the pick of any fridge for a basic price, like $30. Dad chose the man’s Own Fridge, which he proceeded to unload of his foodstuffs & sold to them 🙂 It’s been running fine since! Both of these fridges have a small “freezer box” on the top shelf center interior 🙂

The interior is older than the above model w/ a smaller freezer space centered & w/ a less substantial door & a small plastic melt-water tray underneath & fewer shelves.

The ice maker in my refrigerator broke after a couple years. I didn’t bother to get it fixed and make ice with the old timey trays.

Valerie Curren

We’ve been doing that for a while too. I don’t even know if this fridge has ice maker capability but our previous one did, which was kind of spoiling & much appreciated 😉 I have 4 white plastic trays that I keep in the same order so that the bottom tray, which doesn’t have any leaking chambers, can corral any overspills from the several ones above that do leak through 🙃

Gail Combs

I never hooked up the ice maker…. That reminds me I need to go make some more ice right now!

Valerie Curren

Well the one at the Cottage gets turned off at the end of Summer, if not the end of the trip (we didn’t need it for Memorial Day since so few could make the trip), so it’s no big deal There. The one at my parents has often built up quite a substantial frost coating last I’ve checked 🙂

Gail Combs

I would LOVE manual defrost!

Our frig has DROOLED all over the kitchen floor every three days, starting about 6 months after we got it.

Now I have the linoleum delaminating.

Complaining to frigidaire got no where and defrosting it for 2 solid days only stopped the problem for a week.

cthulhu

Modern “self-defrosting” refrigerators dump the defrost water in a “likely” place and hope that it evaporates rapidly. This is typically close to the compressor, with the idea that the compressor and hot coils will help the water evaporate.

Increasing the ventilation in this area may help (although the problem is really poor design).

Yes. No more recycling plastic bags either. Theyre forbidden. They want all green waste in the big green bin. Sorry im not storing multiple trash cans in the house. https://katu.com/news/local/victim-in-portland-kidnapping-says-man-had-machete-in-car

“Here’s how that night unfolded.

According to court documents, the woman was walking down Southeast Division around 1:30 a.m. Friday when Fet offered her a ride.

The woman got inside the car and told police Fet began making sexual remarks and groped her.

Police say Fet then pulled into the parking lot of a restaurant and pulled out a machete.

The woman says she tried to get out of the car, but Fet sped off.

She says when Fet eventually slowed down, she was able to jump out of the car, and Fet backhanded her in the nose.

The woman ran down the street, banging on a stranger’s door for help.

Police say Fet drove to the house after her, but she hid behind a parked car, and Fet took off.

As police were helping the woman, other officers stopped Fet.

Officers had the woman identify Fet at the scene of that traffic stop, and they arrested him.

“There is probable cause to believe the defendant has committed a violent felony,” a judge said in court Monday, before ordering him held without bail pending a detention hearing.

Fet is known to Portland police.”

WOLF MOON AND ALL — IN ADDITION TO THE McCULLOUGH, et al. PREPRINT PAPER ABOUT THE USDA SOUTHEAST POULTRY RESEARCH LABORATORY AND H5N1:

Yours Truly will now rip the lid off the H5N1 Avian Flu research being done at the USDA Southeast Poultry Research Laboratory in Athens, Georgia (part of Georgia Tech.) This research APPEARS TO BE GAIN-OF-FUNCTION. This research is being performed in USDA laboratories that ARE LESS THAN BSL-4 SAFETY LEVEL. Links and screenshots are below:

ONE: First, the McCullough, et al. paper:
https://doi.org/10.20944/preprints202406.0060.v1
“Proximal Origin of Epidemic Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza H5N1 Clade 2.3.4.4b and Spread by Migratory Waterfowl”
3 June 2024
Peter A. McCullough, et al.
Yours Truly urges all interested persons to DOWNLOAD and SAVE this paper. One suspects that it can be either “retracted” or “reissued with new conclusions” that reflect pressure on the paper’s publisher. Case in point here is the “retraction” of the McCullough, et al., paper published by Cureus in January of this year that was retracted less than a month later — this paper is about the data distortions and “clinical trials” errors regarding the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 “vaccine” BNT162b2 (which was given its initial EUA by the FDA in December 2020.)

TWO: This is the project information link regarding the USDA Southeast Poultry Research Laboratory experiments with H5N1 Avian Influenza virus:
http://www.ars.usda.gov/research/programs-projects/?accn=No=44119
“Research Project: Control Strategies to Prevent and Respond to Diseases Outbreaks Caused by Avian Influenza Viruses”
Below is a screenshot from the document. IT APPEARS THAT GAIN-OF-FUNCTION EXPERIMENTS ARE BEING PERFORMED ON THE H5N1 AVIAN FLU VIRUS. SECTION 3.E. APPEARS TO HAVE THE GOAL OF “CREATING” BIO-ENGINEERED POULTRY. Please see Section 3.E. in the screenshot, below:

comment image

THREE: It appears that the USDA Southeast Poultry Research Laboratory IS NOT A BSL-4 LEVEL FACILITY. In addition, it appears to be a DANGEROUS PLACE TO WORK IN. In fact, IT APPEARS THAT THE LAB IS BEING REBUILT TO BSL-2 AND/OR BSL-3 SAFETY STANDARDS. Here is the link:
http://www.osha.gov/sites/default/files/2023-10/1318_agreement_20230927.pdf
Below is a screenshot from the OSHA partnership agreement for the rebuilding of the lab:

FOUR: H5N1 can affect the BRAIN, the LUNGS, and the HEART of infected mammals:
wwwnc.cdc.gov/eid/article/29/12/23-0464_article
“Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza A(H5N1) Virus Clade 2.3.4.4b Infections in Wild Terrestrial Mammals, United States, 2022”
Elizabeth J. Elsmo, et al.
published December 2023

Upon further reflection — Yours Truly will add that the H5N1 Avian Flu virus clade 2.3.4.4b is not only highly pathogenic, it is also highly infectious. IMO, any experimentation on this virus HAS to be performed in a BSL-4 level facility, AND under strict and continuous scrutiny by lab personnel.

I am going to put up a new ATTACK ON FOOD/Farm Wars Article tomorrow so we have a place to archive all this information on H5N1

PAVACA

Gail Combs
Thank you. IMO, it appears that H5N1 has been lab-enhanced to make the virus more pathogenic and dangerous, not only to birds and to non-human mammals, but also to humans.
And that the experiments for this were conducted / are being conducted, in a USDA facility that has the BSL safety level of a glorified college-level science lab.

A few may remember that about a year and a half ago I stated the real recession began two years ago. Remove defense and governmental spending increases/contracts while looking at our peacetime consumer driven economy, there was no other conclusion to make. Delinquency rates across the board continue to grow and commercial rental rates are declining with vacancies increasing. Which leads to the below over time:

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/06/bidenomics-517-billion-unrealized-losses-cripple-us-banking/

Unrealized losses on large bank balance sheets started increasing significantly 9 quarters ago as the Fed began raising rates. These are “paper losses”, however, they impact capital adequacy ratios and reported bank earnings. At some point losses become realized if the market continues to trend toward higher rates and the banks cannot sell the underlying securities without deep discounts. Banks that have large holdings of real estate backed mortgage securities to sell have major issues to address.

It is intentionally constructed so wealthy bottom feeders can take advantage of other people’s misery. Which is also why they are pushing for WW III to start. They can shift the economy from consumer to defense centered and grab more wealth from those who lose in the shift. The trust in Big Pharm is gone, so they need another sector to heat up and rape.

This is the same stuff that was happening in 2007 on through The Great Recession. The only way to address this with less pain is through PDT taking steps to bring the rates down without excessive inflation. He knows what to do, we need to make sure he gets the opportunity to do it.

This story appears to be indicative of how all the loose COVID cash Biden has sent out into hinter lands and how it’s being misused.

In this case Somali’s in Minnesota going it on their own to divide up the spoils and not using lawyers to hide their crimes got themselves entangled with the law. Now as it turns out they tried to bribe a juror at the last moment with $120,000 dollars in cash. The juror, a 23 woman, instead turned the money in. Apparently they handed the money to her dad with instructions to vote not guilty and wait for the second payment. I hope LE understands the next step by the Somali’s will be to use machetes.

This case sees 7 defendants stealing 47 million dollars from a charity and is part of a larger case dealing with 70 defendants misusing 250,000 million dollars.

THE FDA JUST APPROVED THE FIRST modRNA “VACCINE” FOR RSV.

This “vaccine”, by MODERNA, is mRNA-1345, under the name of mRESVIA.

This “vaccine” was approved by the FDA on 31 May 2024.

This “vaccine” was approved by the FDA on 31 May 2024 WITHOUT ANY PRIOR MEETING OF THE FDA’s OWN VRBPAC COMMITTEE TO EVALUATE DATA FROM MODERNA ABOUT THIS “VACCINE.” The FDA simply approved mRNA-1345 (mRESVIA) WITHOUT THE AGENCY DOING ITS JOB.

There have been NO STUDIES PERFORMED for mRNA-1345 for toxicity, for carcinogenicity, for mutagenicity, or for impairment of male fertility.

mRNA-1345 is for use ONLY in people 60 years of age or older.

mRNA-1345 has the SAME DAMNED DANGEROUS LIPID NANOPARTICLE THAT IS IN MODERNA’s COVID-19 “VACCINES” — SM-102.

mRNA-1345 has the same DAMNED PEG2000-DMG THAT IS IN MODERNA’s COVID-19 “VACCINES.”

Dr. Peter McCullough recommends that if a person wants to get an RSV vaccine, to get an ANTIGEN-BASED RSV vaccine, such as AREXVY — NOT mRNA-1345:
https://petermcculloughmd.substack.com/p/breaking-moderna-receives-us-fda
3 May 2024

**** There is ALSO the issue of COVID-19 “vaccinated” persons age 60 and older, whose IMMUNE SYSTEMS are very likely already compromised by the COVID-19 “vaccines” they took, and who now decide to get mRNA-1345. By doing this, a COVID-19 “vaccinated” person over age 60 would then have TWO DIFFERENT TYPES of modRNA “vaccines” in their body.

Here is the Package Insert for mRNA-1345 (mRESVIA):

I really wish Megyn had brought up that Congress Has a Slush Fund to Pay Off Sexual Harassment Claims and Nobody Calls It a Crime!

Dec 10, 2018

RUSH: If the SDNY is right, how come none of the members of Congress have been charged with felonies by the United States attorney in D.C.? They use tax dollars to buy silence, which was approved by the Ethics Committee. Essentially, there’s a slush fund of tax dollars. They were active members of Congress. The deals were made while they were public officials. Here’s one story

What about the $17 million dollar secret ‘slush fund Congress used to make hush money payments to sexual victims?revolver.news

April 17, 2024

The fund was set up by the Congressional Accountability Act, the 1995 law that created the Office of Compliance.

there’s been a spotlight on the use of “hush money” and secret funds to sweep indiscretions under the rug in politics. This shouldn’t come as a shock to many, given the nature of fame and power, but where do we draw the line? When is it acceptable for politicians to dip into taxpayer-funded slush funds to settle their sexual indiscretions privately and without fanfare, and when is it deemed unacceptable for a private political candidate to do the same with personal funds?…

…our elected officials are dipping into our tax dollars to clean up all their messes. Don’t forget revelations from a few years ago that Congress has its own secret slush fund of hush money—all courtesy of you, the hapless taxpayer. Funny how that works; it’s like one rule for them and another for everyone else.

Indeed, the Office of Congressional Compliance (OOC), which was set up to ensure compliance with the ludicrously named 1995 Congressional Accountability Act, controls a whole treasure chest of disputes involving congressional officials—not just congressional officials, in fact. You’ll be pleased to know that the Capitol Police, the Congressional Budget Office, and many other legislative groups get to wet their beaks in this slush fund as well. Recent reports have indicated that over $17 million has been used from this fund to take care of various “hush” projects on behalf of members of Congress and other agencies….

In Dr Martin’s post, I have trouble reading the sideways and truncated bitmap of the articles and clicking them does not take me to the actual articles. I wish it did.
