You’d be surprised at how good actors can be. I listened to a podcast this week that told a story about Jorge Bergoglio before he was elected pope. It seems he – the REAL Bergoglio, if he’s still alive which I doubt given some details of late – is/was a great actor. He fooled one of the smartest men in the Curia into thinking he was a conservative.
But he didn’t fool them into thinking he actually WAS Benedict! 😉
Actually, no. That Conclave hadn’t happened yet. That was the point. He and Ratzinger were the frontrunners when JPII died, and Bergoglio was pumping the man who knew everyone in the Curia, Monsignor Mario Marini, for information on all of them trying to get the lay of the land.

I have a much wider number of sources, I would imagine, and do have enough of an open mind and imagination to admit some things are possible, and that there is much more going on than we see on the surface.

And there you have it, in black and white. DPat imagines she has a wider number of sources than everyone here, even though she knows nothing about people’s lives or contacts, or what they read.
She thinks she has a more open mind and more imagination than we do. She thinks that we don’t admit some things that are possible but she (apparently being superior) does.
Unlike us, she realizes that there’s much more going on than can be seen on the surface.
And she continues to feel the need to lecture to us that there are great actors out there, because we’re too dense to see it.
She pushes and pushes because she thinks we need to believe what she does and that we need her to show us. She knows things that we don’t because she has superior abilities, experience, and intellect.
Our ideas and theories and rebuttals are not worthy of consideration. We don’t have discussions; we have lectures. We’re just “you people” who are unenlightened because we don’t think JB is gone (who knows where or when) and that someone in a mask has taken his place.
I’ll use a phrase I detest when I see it in memes. “Are you awake yet?”

I believe it works both ways. The things I mentioned constitute a steady diet here that we are subjected to, but that seems to be okay, while pointing it out isn’t.
I suspect the reason it seems a “steady diet” is that the same person is producing 4/7 of our daily content — which, BTW, is much appreciated.
If you do not appreciate said content, you can just skip it — or, perhaps, produce a portion of such content yourself.
I respect your thoughts, but that is not it at all. This has been going on since long before DPat was producing daily content, which I agree is much appreciated.
Comments amounting to “if you don’t like it or appreciate it, then produce some of it yourself,” while I understand where they’re coming from, do not apply.
I’m talking about the realm of ideas, not the production of content. I’m talking about sources who have been proven to be non-credible, who literally make things up, and who do not consider alternatives even when confronted with them, which IMO needs to be pointed out for the sake of the situation we’re in, which is dire. I’m talking about truth versus fiction and fantasy. I’m talking about tactics the enemy uses against us and about seeds the enemy plants to take us off track. I’m talking about honing our skills of discernment. Yet the battle AGAINST that, surprisingly, is here.
Perhaps you can further explicate why “that is not it at all” and “do not apply”.
When you’re “talking about the realm of ideas”, the normal phrase is “the marketplace of ideas” — sellers bring what they want to a market, and customers are not forced to buy. Forbidding disclosure or discussion of particular ideas is censorship.
Instead, perhaps, we should consider “the fitting remedy for evil counsels is good ones”.
It has been suggested that further discussion along these lines belongs on the UTree. A great deal has happened that most people here appear unaware of. It’s not fantasy on my part; it has been in black and white in full view of all. A few have seen it.
Realm:
“the region, sphere, or domain within which anything occurs, prevails, or dominates: the realm of dreams.”
“Marketplace” goes without saying on this comment board. People are allowed to express their opinions, as am I, and others do not have to agree.
I have given “good counsel” until I’m blue in the face. It has been completely ignored in certain quarters. I have worked diligently to bring truth and to shine the light of reason.
Group-think has been impossible to penetrate except in a few cases. It continues to be surprising, given the level of intellect on the site.
I don’t recall any objection to you having your say, so long as it doesn’t devolve into personal attacks.
Yet I have been personally attacked several times, with nary a whimper. People don’t see things.
I would suggest that, in the future, you respond to same with “I consider that a personal attack.”
I said something like that once, but it was in response to a general derogatory comment about “some people” here. I can’t think of anyone else who has used that kind of reference to others here.
I will definitely bring up personal attacks in the future, but they are often done with vague language that IMO is not in the spirit of goodwill. Yet almost no one notices.
The fact that no one saw what I mentioned in the first paragraph is what I’m talking about. One person can get away with things, like the kid in school whom the teacher never sees throwing spit wads or making mischief. My wish is that people would pay more attention, without filters.
Your decisions about what is true or not is listened to by us. You can not teach us discernment. That learned from the Holy Spirit.
That you believe certain sources are not truth is fine. But not defining exactly which source to which you are referring is confusing.
I wonder if somehow you believe you are the only one with a link to the Truth.
I don’t presume to teach discernment. I believe that, as people are open to hearing things, they are led into discernment. When they are not open to seeing even the errors in their sources, they will not begin to see. The same is true for those who are reading content: If they are not open to using their own sense and seeing the errors in others’ thinking, they also will not see. God uses us as He will to make things known, and I do not presume to speak for Him or to know what He is doing. A wise man suggested that it is beneficial to pray for wisdom and discernment.
This is one reason why I said I didn’t have more to say here, because without my going through point by point, discussion by discussion, and rehashing what has been said, it will not be clear to those who didn’t pick up on it the first time. (And I’m not denigrating anyone. People don’t always pay attention to every discussion.)
I’ve debunked sources frequently, as well as some stories and theories. Yet I was told the other day that I hadn’t debunked anything (even though I have records of particular research I’ve done and could give you chapter and verse). That was a direct assault on the truth.
I don’t have time to keep a record of all the random false things that are said and which person on the internet said them, but I did make a couple of notes recently. One name that came up is Shadow of Ezra. Another is Matt Wallace, who said “the government is building secret detention facilities all over the United States.”
I don’t know about others, but that immediately strikes me as something that needs to be verified. So I did a couple of seconds of research and found his Rumble channel, which has these titles (among others):

• Ominous Footage Exposes Titanic Sinking
• US Government Secret Prison Camps Exposed
• Urgent Footage WWIII Beginning
That confirms my first impression that the person is not credible. No big deal, but my hope is that people will start to research these things before they even post them.
But then it was claimed that there are multiple sources for those claims. If you saw “multiple sources” for those items on the internet, would that make you think them more believable?
This is the kind of thing that is pushed and pushed no matter how much it goes against facts and common sense, and no matter what I, or anyone else, says.
I do not believe I am the only one with a link to the truth, and it makes me very sad that someone might think that. All I’m doing is shining the light on things with facts and reason and common sense, and in the midst of that am enduring a continual pushing of untenable and disproved theories. As I said above, I have debunked several of them with facts, but that is not accepted, and the pushing continues. And while we are all free to comment here, I find it interesting that people don’t seem to notice that we are being inundated with things like this.
There is objective truth. If someone says you robbed the bank on Thursday but you were at work at the time, that is a fact that my bringing here would not make me “the only one with a link to the truth.” Yet, according to some of the arguments that I’ve seen, some would say you did rob the bank and that a body double of you was at work, fooling everyone there. Does that seem like something that could happen? If you analyze and follow it to its logical conclusion, does it make sense? It makes no sense to me, but these kinds of ideas are frequently promoted here, with no engaging in back-and-forth discussion about their merits.
Generally speaking, the controversies in question aren’t in the daily content which of course is highly appreciated.
I’ve quit presenting much of what I have stashed which has formed my opinion that there are MANY different Joe Bidens out there. I can’t convince anyone here of what I am seeing. I know that. It’s frustrating.
Am I smarter than the other people here? Not for me to say. I don’t think of it that way, though.
I guess being part of the conspiracy world for over 30 years I see things differently.

I have been hanging back from commenting, but your point makes a good hanger for this comment.
I have to keep reminding myself that this is a free speech site, and that as part of that, in particular, all “conspiracy theories” are welcome here. By that, I mean that criticisms of all theories need to be friendly, even if those theories are repeated ad infinitum in the face of obvious if not conclusive conflicting evidence.
We all have crosses to bear in this regard. Thus, FG&C was required to be nice to people who believe in chemtrails. Steve has to be nice to people who believe in flat Earth. I have to be nice to people who believe in a whole bunch of things I find unlikely. Etc., etc.
The U Tree is not there to provide for free speech – that provision is right here. The U Tree is there for UNCIVIL free speech, which is largely unnecessary, IMO, but sometimes needs to be let off like steam.
People are free to bring anything here, but people are also free to challenge anything here. It just has to be civil, both ways.
There is no requirement that people accept reason here. But at the same time, there is no prohibition of anybody posting what they think is reasonable.
Just keep it all friendly and civil. Delaying replies is a strong tactic in this regard, and it works for me!

Obviously I was addressing a person, who, IMO, set it off with the derogatory “you people” comment. I directly responded to the things she said and restated some of them.
I could have been more tactful, saying, “It seems like you are saying this. Is that what you meant?” but things are way beyond that for me today. And I get zero such consideration back. In fact, I get almost no discussion back. I was told a while back that she has a personal rule not to respond to my comments at all, with no reason given. That precludes addressing things or working them out or coming to an understanding. Do you think that promotes good will? What would you think if someone said that to you, and if you had things you wanted to discuss but knew it to be impossible?

I think there MAY be some limited doubles of Dementia Boy – which is why I keep checking, despite never having found a single provable instance.
This position is based on the known, caught, Kamala double, who got “Loomered”.
Thus, if there are any doubles (unproven), then it would be for the benefit of the other side, such as when Biden can’t physically appear in certain places. I find it reasonable that the other side would then promote “doubles theories” to our side, as both protection of their various operations, by making any witnesses “conspiracy theorists”, AND to make us look stupid as we claim their crimes as our “secret winning”.

I use tineye but have never gotten a resulting hit. I have also used Bing’s image search but that seems to be gone now and I won’t try their AI. So I go to google and they also have an image search (may be called lens) that seemed to work very well today on a photo my friend took of a moth in her yard. I got other photos plus a link to a site giving the moth’s name and region where it lives.

I’ve asked before, many times, for people to flesh out theories with specifics. No one seems to be able to do that, which only casts more doubt on them.
My dad & his first cousin used to date a set of identical twins during the summers of their teen years (both Dad & Tom had family cottages in Northern Michigan & the twins were in a neighboring community w/ lots of teen gatherings between these different beach groups). I guess this would happen on either double dates or at group events. The twins would dress similarly but wear different jackets or hairbows or something to distinguish them. Apparently at some point they would switch out the different item & then try to fool their dates as to their identities. It was kind of a game for everyone so you never wanted to be the last guy to figure out the switcheroo & feel like a dodo. The dates could Always tell the difference…Eventually. It could take a while though…
With cute girls, it sometimes warrants a thorough inspection.

I have always thought there could be some doubles. Where I draw the line is at someone (or a couple of people, which would be even harder) wearing a lifelike mask and fooling people who know JB well.
The alternative to that is that everyone, including all the conservative media, Congresspeople, Trump, and all his aides, know that a body double is running the country and are allowing it to happen because “the plan.” It’s unthinkable.

You might as well accept that you will never change some people’s minds about this stuff. It is a psychological crutch for many people. The fear that all this bullshit happening is real, not a “movie” is just too much to bear.
I have a couple of friends in real life like this. There is always some explanation for what is going on that “only” the really “dialed in” people understand.
I doubt the “sources” anyone here has are greater than mine. I read pretty much everything I come across. I am just relying on my life rule of “be a skeptic.” And most of the stuff I read, if I’m honest, reads like CIA clickbait designed to manipulate the gullible. They use it to make us look stupid. I hate that.
When we know something REAL, nobody will here us. Like with the Covid vaxx. It’s easy to dismiss any information from the guy who acts like this:

(I think you and I likely agree on that, but just in case we don’t…let’s go with it for the sake of discussion.)
I don’t see how believing that he’s been dead and a bunch of doubles are faking him, would comfort people compared to believing that Joe Biden still being alive. How could this be a psychological crutch?
I can understand how “this is a movie and we’re really in control ready to swoop in when the time is right” would do so, but “Those are fake Joe Bidens” shouldn’t make a damned bit of difference to someone’s comfort level with what’s going on.
I think in this case it’s someone who has a vast overestimate of their own abilities to “see things others cannot see.” (And this is someone who called the real Wayne Newton fake, so their ability is demonstrably lower than they claim.)

The crutch is believing that none of what is happening is actually real, but part of an elaborate, but fully white hat controlled, operation.
So, you see, we are not really on the edge of nuclear Armageddon, because Biden isn’t “real.” A senile old pervert doesn’t have his hand on the football, it’s a body-double. And he isn’t really President.
That’s the comfort I observe. It allows these people to blithely go on about their business, secure in the knowledge that nothing “bad” is going to happen. It’s all a movie to “wake up” the ones of us who are “asleep.”

Not necessarily the end. I got made redundant age 50, previous to that I’d worked in house maintenance for several companies. Unable to find work out of desperation I tried agency work in construction (still in my trade), had always thought of that as lowest of the low, how wrong I was. Takes about half a year to find out, by word of mouth the better agencies, I had started off with one that had a bad reputation. I found a totally different attitude, best ever workmates and if the big contractors like your work they will always take one back on the next job, I’ve even had them contact me when a new job was starting, tell me which agency they were using and if you’re not on their books get on them now and we’ll tell them we want you.
I wished I’d gone down that path decades ago. Been retired now for nearly ten year and still get unsolicited job offers occasionally, got one only yesterday for thirty weeks work.

When I am researching for next contract jobs, I notice that some companies include age as one of the things they do not discriminate based on. I once worked with an IT guy who kept working until he was in his 80s. We were all fine with that because he did a great job and knew a lot about IT. That’s all that mattered. Other companies omit age from the list of stuff they don’t discriminate based on.

Reminds me of the Abby Hoffman 1971 book “Steal This Book”. Rumor said CIA had purposefully changed contents of book so some of the tricks techniques and tactics would fail. Doesn’t know if that was true, but it was the rumor going around at the time.
Meanwhile buying civilian equipment vs Mil Spec equipment should always be a worry and should be examined closely when data is available which often it’s very hard to find the proper comparison.
As an example thinking your AR can reach sustained and rapid rates of fire the same as a Mil Spec weapon could get you in hot water in a head to head match even though you might be able to match the trigger pulls of a Mil Spec weapon.
A mil spec M4 should allow for sustained rate of fire of 12 to 15 rds a minute, appox one round every 4 seconds. (since they don’t tell you for civilian versions think 8 to 12 rds a min?)
A rapid rate of fire is normally considered 45 rds a minute for an M4 which should not exceed past two minutes. (Civilian version think closer to 30 rds a minute?).
Having a thinner barrel which is common with budget AR’s would be a good indicator that you need to be careful not to exceed your rates of fire. What your guarding against is your weapon heating up past it’s limitations which will interfere in it’s serviceability, meaning it will stop functioning. A coal white barrel is a good indicator that the barrel is too hot. Another test might be to touch the barrel to you partners neck and if he wants to kill you for burning him and being so dumb the weapon needs to cool off before you ruin it.
Cyclic rate of fire for an assault rifle is 500 to 1100 rds a minute and should not be exceeded past one minute. (Not to worry because unless you did an illegal modification you can’t do full auto).
Open to advice or feed back or better information. Finding the right information seems difficult and learning by trial and error is cost prohibitive to most of us, not to mention a hassle to get the range with lots of ammo.

The Book of the Heavenly Cow is fascinating in the sense of being similar in some ways to our own collective religious beliefs.
Interesting. While “good” and “benign” aspects can be found within their belief system some of what we’d call “inappropriate or evil” aspects seemed to compete with in the over all structure instead of being divorced from it as I think it is with Christianity where it’s simply Good vs Evil.
What may account for it is the over all power struggle between the upper nile (south) and lower nile (north/delta region). While general agreement on the gods could be found, the underlying myths seemed to struggle for supremacy and propaganda wars likely festered under the surface between cult centers along the river.
That seemed to show up mostly with the Seth vs Osiris conflict that continued on with Seth vs Horus. I’m sure I’m over simplifying it, but what we would consider evil, wrong or unfair, they appear to have had a certain allowance for it in their collective beliefs.

The upgrade halted in three places that I could see. Two were trying to change browsers from regular packages to snaps — chromium and firefox. One was with the package libdvd-pkg, which seems to be a long-standing known issue ( https://askubuntu.com/questions/1094062/libdvd-pkg-apt-get-check-failed-you-may-have-broken-packages-aborting )(which may be fixed).
In the meantime, my reboots hang ( https://ubuntu-mate.community/t/issue-shutting-down-16-04-at-spi-registryd-desktop/5435 ) — which might be fixed. And my boots issue four crash reports (one of which is firefox, and another is the default display (which is supposed to display a firefox link).
And, for some reason, my eyes’ performance is decidedly subpar today….

OK, I’ve done “sudo apt –reinstall install xxxx” to all the packages that crashed on my last boot. I’ve also done a few other “cleanup” issues. Time for a reboot to see what stuck.
Pretty good. It shut down properly, but still wanted to send a trouble report to Ubuntu on boot. No new crash reports. And…..firefox works!

Yours Truly: One takes no pleasure in confirming that the blood of COVID-19 “vaccinated” persons is not only contaminated with the spike protein; but also contains amyloid aggregates.
“Amyloid aggregates” may be defined as a collection or mass of amyloid (misfolded or misshapen) fibrils; in other words, a kind of “prion presence” in the blood, or “prionification” of the blood. Amyloid fibrils are resistant to degradation.

Yours Truly again: The COVID-19 “vaccines” are called “genetic vaccines” in this paper. It’s a 25-page read, but IMO is “accessible” in its presentation to interested readers. There are graphs that help also.
The bottom line is that persons who have mRNA (modRNA) COVID-19 “vaccines” in their bodies have blood that is compromised and damaged. And the “fingerprints” of that damned N1-methylpseudouridine, along with the spike protein itself, are all over the place.
The authors of the paper send an urgent message that blood-derived products from COVID-19 “vaccinated” persons must be made safer. They present various ways this can be accomplished.
Here, again, is Page 8 of the Pharmacokinetics Tabulated Summary of the Pfizer-BioNTech “flagship” COVID-19 “vaccine”, BNT162b2, that was given to the FDA on 21 January 2021. Note the accumulations listed for Whole Blood, for Plasma, and for Blood:Plasma ratio. However, I question whether “speaking with a doctor,” considering the events of the last four years, would make any sense.
After all, we have discovered that 95% or more of them are just paid shills for the Big Pharma cabal. So they have a vested interest in keeping you on the drugs.
I’m not advocating just winging it on one’s own. I am, however, wondering just how to find medical advice regarding natural medicines from Big Pharma quacks.
