Actually, I saw a meme about that one that explains a lot. The ruling was over lifting the injunction, not trying the case. It hasn’t been tried yet. That being said, why the injunction had to be lifted during an election year can’t really be justified.
The Left needs a lesson on what comprises official acts of a president. I think it means things the president does in the course of his Constitutional duties to uphold the laws of the country. So that leaves out:
• assassinating political opponents

The slightly longer version is: my BP was severely elevated during a multi-hour search for a VGA cable. I own at least a dozen, and am currently using two. I was looking in a room I haven’t been using much lately, and had to remove significant overburden placed there by The Fiancee (during which I found a bunch of other things I had lost). I’ve got one on the workbench and anticipate doing everything I thought I was going to do today, tomorrow.
In the meantime, I got shanghai’d into watering the front atrium area, washing a load of dishes, tightening the set-screw that keeps that patio door handle from falling off, clearing out a bunch of trash and recycling, cleaning the kitchen counter (that I just cleaned) because The Fiancee can’t prep food without spattering it across six square feet, and raking up a bunch of tree parts that was keeping the front lawn sprinklers from working properly.
Sounds like I’ve had a case of the Mondays.

I should note that the house is Joint Tenancy With Right of Survivorship — “JTWROS”. If the house is damaged by earthquake, fire, or having a semi drive through it, I have no intention of rebuilding — I would take my share of the insurance and go. If The Fiancee were to perish in traffic, I would probably have it listed before her body was cold.
We had the house repainted about 8 years ago with the narrative that a sale was imminent, but have had nothing but foot-dragging since. The plant collections, garden follies, decorative pots, and garden architecture were all dismantled and sold for pennies on the dollar to make me feel bad about wanting to leave…..but has left me no reason to want to stay.
I had built this place into a delight for the two of us…..and can build a delight for myself anywhere else once I get shut of it.

The Biden administration is flying previously deported Cameroonians whose asylum claims were determined to be invalid back into the United States, according to interviews with Immigration and Customs Enforcement staff and internal agency memos reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon.
The program, which has not been announced to the public, appears to be a response to a February 2022 Human Rights Watch report about dozens of Cameroonians deported between 2019 and 2021 and then allegedly mistreated by their government. An estimated 80 to 90 Cameroonians were deported during that period of time.
But now some are arriving back in the United States under a program with little precedent, both current and former ICE officials say. All of the individuals deported under the previous administration were found not to have valid asylum claims in the United States.
The decision to fly back the previously deported Cameroonians is the latest instance of the Biden administration reversing its predecessor’s immigration initiatives. On his first day in office, President Joe Biden rolled back a number of former president Donald Trump’s border policies and paused southern border wall construction. Biden later ended a policy that forced asylum seekers to wait in Mexico before their court hearing, which critics blame for the sharp uptick in illegal border crossings.
“Gutting deportations isn’t enough for the Biden administration, so now they’re apparently bringing back previously deported illegal aliens,” said former ICE official and director of investigations at the Center for Immigration Studies Jon Feere. “These are people who have already had their cases closed, one way or another, and they’ve been returned home.”
Internal memos reviewed by the Free Beacon show an ICE official working with outside nonprofits to help relocate the Cameroonians. One email from earlier this year reviewed by the Free Beacon shows the director of the Immigrant Rights Clinic at Texas A&M University, Fatma Marouf, informing an ICE official where one migrant will arrive.
In that incident, the migrant arrived at Washington-Dulles airport in Virginia. ICE officials familiar with the program say airports around the country are being used as ports of entry for the Cameroonians in an attempt to keep the public in the dark about the program and avoid concentrating the migrants in a single location.
Marouf did not respond to a request for comment.
The official rationale for the program, according to internal memos reviewed by the Free Beacon, is to avoid a “potential lawsuit.” There is pending litigation in New York over documents related to alleged abuse of Cameroonian migrants, but no court has ordered their return.
“These individuals were deported by the order of a court after they were afforded all due process rights,” said former ICE chief of staff Tom Blank. “For DHS to arbitrarily reverse court orders to satisfy complaints from an activist group makes a joke out of the entire legal immigration process. It looks like outside activist groups now run the DHS immigration process instead of the courts.”

How could you know that July 3 is the anniversary of my beloved father’s death; and that July 4 is the anniversary of my beloved maternal grandmother’s death? And that, even though these losses happened years ago, they can still register in the one left behind?
And that this happens in the one left behind despite the counseling, the “talking it out”, the “having a plan” for the reactions that still come on these anniversaries. the rationalizing that “they’re free of their pain now”?
The only way to really deal with these “anniversaries”, I believe, is to ask the Almighty to help the one(s) left behind to not only accept the losses of loved ones, but to embrace the losses; to allow the grief to be released to Him; to understand, at the deepest levels of the body-mind-spirit, that it really is OK now.
And, that when the ones left behind are ready for this level of understanding, the Almighty will provide a sign that it really is OK now.

Vengeance: the act of taking revenge (harming someone in retaliation for something harmful that they have done) especially in the next life.
Don’t give up or turn back in this battle. Keep the Sword of the Spirit in your hand and mouth.
Have your heart fixed on God. Magnify God, the problem solver, and not the problem.
The Body of Christ should be encouraging one another, praying for one another, and being unified.

They know there is no option where My David can take that seat of the President back. You will make greater and more desperate attempts to destroy him and your justice system. There were whispers in the enemy’s camp and now there are massive arguments…how did these things leak? Who keeps exposing us? How do they know our plans when we have been careful who hears them? Prayer for Serenity 1: When Things Seem Out of Control
You did everything you could to assure a positive outcome, but it didn’t turn out the way you wanted or expected. We’ve all been there. It tests our faith. Maybe you accept the outcome or maybe you’re frustrated. God wants to help you put the situation into perspective and remember that he is always in control of every situation—even those you so desperately want to control.
Dear Lord, It feels like everything is out of control in my life right now. I know good things are happening too but the stress is overshadowing them. I wanted a better answer, things to change, but my hopes are dashed. Many people try to comfort me by saying that you’re in control, but it doesn’t bring me comfort. It seems condescending.
Lord, I want to understand and discern the plans you have for me. Father, restore my faith as I trust that you’re omniscient and I’m not. Envelope me with your peaceful balm to soothe my questioning mind. Remind me that you hold the whole world in your hands and all things work for good to those who believe in you. I do believe! Amen

God didn’t create doubt, anxiety, or worry. Satan did to rob us of our joy, peace, and sleep. God knows common sense can flee when we’re under stress, so he gave us a remedy when we experience mind hijackers: “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7). Charles Spurgeon advised that, “Our anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows, but only empties today of its strength.”
Lord, you know how irrational I can become when I’m anxious. I can’t reign in my thoughts. Instead of expecting the best, I worry and wonder. I fret. My stomach churns, my heart races, and I can’t take my mind off the issue. I know you don’t want me living in a constant state of turmoil. It’s not good for my physical or mental health. It makes people around me miserable and keeps me living in a perpetual state of chaos instead of calmness, which I crave.
Father, you tell me in your Word to cast all my anxiety on you and so I’m doing that in this prayer. I lay at your feet the things I’m struggling with and I implore you Lord to free my mind of concerns. Remind me please to take deep breaths and trust that you can make a way even when the path is not visible to me. Father, please lead me to refreshing Scriptures when I feel anxiety approaching. Holy Spirit fill me with the serene peace and joy of the Lord. Amen

So, I mentioned that I had been running around looking for a VGA cable….
That’s because the latest victim tiny computer outputs DisplayPort — and, of course, my collection of monitors have VGA or HDMI inputs (and, in the spare CRT monitors, CGA and monochrome). Since I had a DisplayPort to VGA converter, I ran around finding a VGA cable.
Then I booted the system and got “No Signal”. I go rummaging around and find a DisplayPort to HDMI converter, hooked it up, and I’m looking at the BIOS.
Mind you, when I say “rummaging around”, I found DVI video cables, VGA cables for KVM switches (F-F), micro HDMI to HDMI, VGA to RGB breakout cables…..took hours.
Now I just have to go through the insanely convoluted BIOS to boot from Ventoy. This computer was originally designed to be used in dedicated applications, like a Chick-fil-A or similar, and the BIOS is specifically designed to resist meddling by random cashiers. I’ve successfully threaded the maze once, but it was a while back.
