Are There Angels Among Us?
Throughout Scripture, we see numerous instances in which angels were an integral part of God’s plan. One verse alludes to the possibility of angels walking among us today: “Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it” (Hebrews 13:2). The obvious reference is to Abraham, whose angelic visitors appeared to him as men (Genesis 18). This verse may or may not confirm that angels are indeed walking among us unawares; “have shown” is past tense, so present-day encounters are not explicitly mentioned.
There are dozens of scriptural examples of angelic encounters, so we know that God can and does use angels to accomplish certain things. What we don’t know for sure is how often angels allow themselves to be seen by people. Here are the basics about angels from the Bible: angels can instruct people (Genesis 16:9), help people (Daniel 6:22), deliver messages to people (Luke 1:35), appear in visions and dreams (Daniel 10:13), protect people (Exodus 23:20), and help carry out God’s plans.
We know that God created angels, and He uses angels in His plan. Angels have a sense of individuality, as some have names (such as Gabriel and Michael) and all have different responsibilities within the angelic hierarchy.
But do they walk among us? If God so chooses to use them in His custom-made plans for us, yes, they absolutely can walk among us doing God’s will. Angels are mentioned in Genesis and in Revelation, and they witnessed the creation of the world (Job 38:7). God has used His heavenly host from the beginning of time and will still use them at the end of time, according to Scripture. It is quite possible that many people today have met or seen an angel without realizing it.
If angels do walk among us, it is because they are serving a God-ordained purpose. The Bible mentions demons who wander the earth with no purpose other than to destroy (Matthew 12:43–45). Satan and his demonic force can probably appear physically, much like holy angels can. Satan’s purpose is to deceive and kill. Satan “masquerades as an angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:14).
An important note: angels are not to be glorified or worshiped (Colossians 2:18). They are entities who carry out God’s will, and they refer to themselves as “fellow servants” with us (Revelation 22:9).
Regardless of whether we actually experience angelic encounters, the most important thing is that we experience salvation through Jesus Christ. He is beyond all angels and all humans, and He alone is worthy of worship. “You alone are the LORD. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you” (Nehemiah 9:6).

A photo from that article. The female agent is too small to support a protectee the size of Trump. If he had not been able to stand on his own, she could not have held him up and she would not have been able to provide enough help to others to support him.

Guy was very young to be a trained sniper or an experienced distance shooter who could handle 250 yards or more.
And that was my point. Irrespective of my original query about AR-15 range, how long does it take someone to be proficient enough to snipe someone at 130 yards. Twenty years old doesn’t seem to be long enough unless he was military at 17, which would mean he’s still on active duty.
Too many questions. Insufficient answers.
Once you have your weapon properly zero’d, just the zeroing process will likely make you proficient enough to hit such a target so 12 rounds with proper instruction. Now if your not going to use the 8 steady hold factors, and obtain proper sight alignment, sight picture and zero your weapon as instructed, then you might actually miss the side of a barn if it’s more than 50 meters / 55 yards away.
On sleeping on things, this shooter had too much “luck” for it to be luck. The opportunity was too well-exploited. IMO, somebody understood the weaknesses of Trump’s Biden-limited security package, and exploited them in prepping this shooter.

The assassin was a decent shot. That first, surprise shot was very close to what was needed.
I purchased 12 shots with a glock one time in PA. Just allowed this on one day. Never shot before.

Thats true, although we havent learned really anything about him or his family yet, beyond his father being some type of counselor. I bet he has known issues but dad bought the gun anyway. Like the kid who shot up the 4th of july parade.
The military can take an 18 year old and send him to sniper school and turn out a soldier who can hit a target that close inside a year. If the kid is talented or grew up hunting big game that range should not be difficult. You would not think a trained shooter would miss from that range so he may not have been trained by the military, at least sniper trained. There are literally thousands of videos on YouTube and Vimeo that teach marksmanship.
Marine recruits qualify at 200, 300, and 500 yards. Not sure if they still do, but when I was a Marine wife many years ago, they re-qualified yearly.
Marine, any marine, would have not missed. They do snap in exercises and treat marksmanship seriously as opposed to army who normally just qualify once a year.

That’s not a bad distance for an AR-15 / .223 / 5.56, but at over 100 yards, accuracy will be highly dependent on the skill of the shooter. I know people who get tiny groups at significantly longer distances, but most people are not them (distance-shooting hobbyists), who are comparable to professionals / military snipers.
The fact that this guy was off by several inches on Trump’s head, resulting in the ear shot, sounds about right for a “regular” shooter at 125 yards, trying to take a head shot.
I’m not getting any weird vibes on this. If this guy was 250-400 yards away, I would be saying NO FUCKING WAY.

Not at all. It’s a very short range for an AR-15. It comes out to 119 meters. 300 meters is the max effective range of an AR-15 so that is much less and all soldiers are expected to be able to hit targets out to 300 meters. 119 meters should be fairly easy. The only thing that makes it hard is that your not aiming center mass, but for a head shot so that would be like trying to hit a target out at 200 to 250 meters. Apparently Trump has an angel. 🤗

Yes – I can’t quite make out the details or be sure of the length, but it looks like he has some kind of a distance-compatible scope on it.
It’s hard to tell, but if it was a scope, his eye should be right up against it, and I don’t see that. Looks like the guy is wearing glasses.
Looks like there could be a red-dot sight about halfway down the length of the rifle, which would be roughly the right position.
There’s eye relief with any rife scope.
You do NOT put your eye up against a scope. That’s the fastest way to give yourself a black eye (or worse) once the round goes off.
The scopes are designed such that you will want your eye several inches behind the scope to get an image. This is what Brave and Free (correctly) identified as “eye relief”

I have seen so much crap accusations against the Secret Service that are just OFF – and largely because people don’t understand simple physics, perspective, and geometry. PLUS they rush in with preconceived notions.
IMO the rooftop SS to Trump’s right were NOT scanning the shooter, who was to their right. The earliest shots that might have been from the USSS, start with the volley AFTER the first three shots which were almost certainly from the assassin. If not that volley, then the FINAL SHOT about half a minute after all the other shots, might have been one of the ones from the SS, taking out the shooter.
Well, good luck changing people’s minds with the truth. 🙄 I would like to see a graphic that shows all the positions of the people involved.

Check that video TT linked to again, I just watched again and Trump is talking. Watch the SS sniper, he’s aiming right at something.
Then he looks UP from his scope momentarily, his head clearly pops up from the scope.
DJT is in mid-sentence. Then the SS sniper puts his eye back to his rifle scope and fires, at what appears to be the same moment as the assassin, the same moment DJT is hit.
The SS sniper fired in the same direction he was looking and aiming since long before DJT was shot. He didn’t change is aim one inch.
I think the shot we hear is the SS sniper, NOT the assassin’s gun.

In the photo on the left you can see the bullet whizzing past Trump’s head. Then he touches his ear, and in the photo on the right you can see blood on his hand.
In the first photo, to the right of his head, after the bullet had passed, there is what looks like a vapor trail. There may be another name for it with regard to bullets.
I have seen that many times in video from the shooter’s perspective (usually with a larger round, like a .50 Cal.), but this is a side view.
I wonder if that’s what appeared like a puff of smoke that I saw in the video. It couldn’t have lasted more than one single frame, which should probably have been invisible at standard video frame rates.
I have been thinking that the image is the literally SMEARED image of the bullet moving at high speed through the digital recording of where exactly it is.
I was thinking old fashioned camera were one had to get the film developed would get the bullet like that if using a high speed film. How that translates to modern video cameras I don’t know, would it be a high rate of frames per second?

I don’t think that is what is being said. The bullet that hit his right ear flew past his head on his right side. The reference to “left” above was to the sequence of photos, not Trump’s head.

If DJT’s security detail can provide proof of repeated requests for beefed up security (which they certainly can), then DHS is totally exposed.
The SS security detail is ‘on scene’, they are the ‘boots on the ground’, and in their professional opinion, extra security was needed and therefore requested, on multiple occasions, all of which were denied by the protectee’s political adversary.
If the SS security detail requested extra security, there is ZERO legitimate reason to have denied extra security, except to jeopardize the life of the protectee.

All of the SS detail near the protectee were also at great risk of murder by assassination attempt. Just a few inches or feet and their own lives would have ended. They should have self-interest in speaking truth now.

Below is a 2:45-minute Rumble video of the shooting and the aftermath. This is where leftists are getting the idea that Trump “hid” behind the podium. (I’d like to see what they would do after being shot in the head. Maybe stand up and wait for more? SMH.) Trump did the instinctual thing, and the right thing, and the SS kept him down and were no doubt examining him. Then when he had the chance, he told them to wait and adressed the crowd with “Fight!”

I don’t think he was in the ambulance unless he switched out. When they left the rally he was seen getting in one of the SUVs.

Nearly all large meetings of people will include the presence of an ambulance but the Trump motorcade always includes an ambulance. Even if Trump was not seen getting into one of the SUVs it is safe to assume he was not in the ambulance because the ambulance was at the end of the exiting motorcade. It would have been very near the front if Trump was in fact in the ambulance.

To those saying the election is over and Trump will win by a landslide, you’re being naive.
Here are my concerns:
1. He must first stay ALIVE in order to win
2. There’s a potential leak in Secret Service and protection of the president.
Too many blind spots. There needs to be better system of protection.
One bystander said he saw a shooter climbing up on top of the building. He told secret service and police but they didn’t react for several minutes.
A PMC needs to be hired to protect the President – someone like an Erik Prince from BlackWater (private military contractor).
3. Stage and AV security team needs to be upgraded.
I understand for optics not wanting to put bullet proof glass in front of a President when he speaks.
There’s no way if I’m running stage security and AV, a shooter should have any chance of getting an angle from the side or the back.
The biggest stage and AV companies in America who support high risk targets (political leaders) need to reach out to offer strategies.
This is insane.
4. RNC needs to double down on end to end security In Milwaukee.

And again, if you watch Trump and then watch the sniper and then watch either one while listening for the sound of the gunfire, it coincides with what looks like the wild-shot by the sniper, or the sniper and the assassin fired at practically the same moment.

In my opinion that initial movement of the gun isn’t recoil. Right now, I think the first 3 shots are the shooter, who surprised the SS.
It is possible that SS was alerted to somebody on the roofs to the right, and the SS snipers were scanning the buildings further back. Then the guy with the tripod (either eye) caught the movement on the close building.
You can tell by the sound of the shots that the later ones near the end of the video are louder and closer – those are the SS, IMO.

My nephew was injured at the Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Thankfully his injury was not serious and he is doing well. My family was sitting in the front, near where the President was speaking. They heard shots ringing out — my nephew then realized he had blood on his neck and something had grazed and cut his neck. He was treated by the providers in the medical tent. Thank you to all those that have reached out to check on him.
Please join my family and me in praying for all who were injured and the life lost.
The President and the survivors are lucky to be alive.

I was trying to find out what AGR Internationl Inc does (the company whose building the shooter shot from) but their site was down (at least when I tried).
The CEO and majority shareholder is Henry M Dimmick Jr. Nothing immediately stuck out when I searched his name; however, he was listed on a PAC donation to Friends of Marci Mustello ( https://www.campaignfinanceonline.pa.gov/Pages/ShowReport.aspx?ReportID=364947&isStatement=0&is24Hour=0 – page 19)
This is what one of Mustello’s primary challengers in the last election had to say:

When you look at the true north view on Google Earth, there could be no more of a perfect scenario for an attempt: the slight angle of the roof providing cover while getting into position with the angle of the building providing perfect view to the target, his clothing was almost perfect to camouflage with the building material while looking like “normal” clothing – I.e. not wearing a trench coat on a 110 degree day to conceal a weapon (took forethought and prep). Probably not his normal attire (the t-shirt) and needed to be ordered ahead of time with the layout of the event known as—> that particular building (color) for the perfect angle.

Shooter doesn’t live in Butler. How did he know before driving(?) a hundred or so miles what was the layout of the area, what would be the layout of the rally, where to set up, that this roof would be available — and that he could get on it… No one from police or SS noticed a guy with a rifle just outside the venue? Where was his car? or did someone else drive him. Smells.

First shot hits Trump at exactly 8 second mark (beginning), and you can hear three shots, then a volley (12-13 seconds) in response (possibly mixed with shots by the shooter, then silence until there is a SINGLE shot (24 seconds) which make a woman scream.
That last single shot matters. Was it a shot to make sure the shooter was dead?

Maybe SS does not shoot until they are sure the person is a shooter trying to kill. I know it sounds crazy but police have become limit also because of consequences making an mistake. Were the guys on the roof special police force not SS?

Yours Truly played the video clip at 0.25 speed. It appears that at 6 seconds in, the first bullet (aimed at the LEFT side of President Trump’s head) missed; then, at 8-9 seconds in, President Trump’s left shoulder flinches; at 9 seconds in, he touches his RIGHT ear. Then he hits the deck (trained military response, IMO.)
To me, this indicates:
That there were TWO ASSASSINS stationed for the hit. The FIRST ASSASSIN was stationed to the LEFT side of the President’s body. This shot missed its mark because President Trump turned his head to speak to the “angel” on his RIGHT. The SECOND assassin, IMO, was placed at an angle that faced the President’s RIGHT side, but at angle that was further away from the center line of the President’s body. The SECOND ASSASSIN shot, missed his mark (the President’s brain) and the bullet instead grazed the RIGHT ear.
The use of quarter speed definitely solves this, but I’m going to disagree on any shots prior to the one at 8 seconds.
The shots by shooter and SS response are doubled, due to supersonic speed. The first three shots make a classic pattern of supersonic crack and then the muzzle sound.
The first one is at 8 seconds. The second two are at the beginning and end of the 9 second span.
The three shot burst at 12 seconds is the SS sniper. They are classic doublets, but sound different from the shooter. There is also an ECHO of the three shots afterward. It sounds like more shots, but I suspect it’s an echo.
The shot at 24 seconds is not doubled, and I have no explanation, but one theory would be that it’s a subsonic shot. My most radical theory is that it was the “Jack Ruby” shot, to make sure the shooter was dead. It could have also been an SS shot to make sure the perp was dead before approaching him.

So, the first shot was the missed one aimed at the left side of President Trump’s head, then the other two shots at 9 seconds are the ones aimed at the right side of his head, with one of those shots the one that grazed his right ear? How could one assassin make shots to opposite sides of a turned head in less than 1 second? Something just doesn’t “‘pass the smell test” here to Yours Truly.
IMO the shot which hit the right ear was the first shot. That was the closest they got to getting him. Trump was facing perfectly toward the shooter, who was aiming at the head, and missed to his left, Trump’s right. Trump stops speaking right at that first shot, and then reaches up in a fraction of a second, as two more shots are released, spaced from the first one by about a second each. Trump and the SS hear the sound of those shots “zinging” past, and react.
Trump begins crouching down right at 10 seconds beginning (10.0, maybe 9.9). It basically took him two seconds to realize what was happening.
The shooter was not making precise shots, IMO. He was just “aiming at the head”, and didn’t have good control.
The shooter may have had a bad scope, more designed for standard combat, and had not practiced with it. Also, I suspect that the shooter had just “popped up” for the shot, and had not spent much time sighting in, so that SS would not see him.

And the other one that really sets me off is using “injury” for a person who has been “wounded.” I see this constantly in the context of our military who are deployed. There is a difference between being INJURED when a truck overturns and being WOUNDED by gunfire.
Now I 🙄🙄🙄 when I read the headlines or copy about President Trump being injured. He might have been injured when he dropped to the ground, but he was WOUNDED and sustained WOUNDS from the gunshot, not injuries.

Crooks worked at a nearby nursing home. An administrator there told USA TODAY that the company was shocked to learn of the shooting and that Crooks had passed a background check for his job.
Crooks worked as a dietary aid, a job that generally involves food preparation, at Bethel Park Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, less than a mile from his home. In a statement provided to USA TODAY on Sunday, Marcie Grimm, the facility’s administrator, said she was “shocked and saddened to learn of his involvement.”
Crooks’ home address is listed in Bethel Park, a suburb in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area, voter records show. That three-bedroom brick house has been owned since 1998 by Matthew and Mary Crooks,
Lily Sierka, attended school with Crooks from elementary school through Bethel Park High School, and said she remembers him as quiet and shy.
Dean and his daughter Lily said they would see Crooks at least once a week, often when Crooks was walking to work.
A Thomas Crooks graduated two years ago from Bethel Park High School, according to an online video of the ceremony, and was included in a 2022 local news article about recipients of a National Math & Science Initiative Star Award at the public high school, which enrolls about 1,300 students.
Jason Kohler attended Bethel Park High School with Crooks and said he remembers the 20-year-old sat alone at lunch and was “bullied every day.” Kids picked on Crooks for wearing camouflage to class and his quiet demeanor, Kohler, 21, said.

Bethel Park is a suburb to the south of Pittsburgh. Yours Truly knows it well, having grown up in Pittsburgh. Mostly middle- to upper-middle income earners. Don’t know about the current status, but years ago, the public school system was pretty amazing.

Clearly USSS failed at the basics of a secure perimeter and once shots were fired their extraction was clumsy and left DJT highly exposed to follow on attacks. It looked like they had never drilled together because those responses should be effectively autonomic. Will there be accountability? That’s not the Washington way.
Unserious and unworthy people in positions of authority got us to this near disaster. Merit and execution must be the only deciding factors in hiring and leadership, not the social engineering priority of the day. Sadly nothing in Washington reflects that any longer. DJT is right to question the competence of those protecting him because yesterday they failed in almost every way. Nature abhors a vacuum and there are always other options.
Most importantly, as Americans let’s come together and run a proper valid election so we can get back to what matters a merit based society that judges on character and skill. Nothing else.

If a shotgun or rifle was FIRED next to his head, then yes, there is more chance of damage elsewhere, but a single rifle bullet that didn’t hit his actual head (leaving obvious evidence in its trail) is not going to do much other damage, IMO.
I think a very basic test of Trump’s hearing is in order, and a close examination to make sure that his skull was not grazed.

Yours Truly was one of the board that brought up the possibility of concussion and/or damage to hearing of the right ear. IMO, a neurologist needs to make a thorough examination to rule out concussion and/or damage to the skull, and an ENT needs to make a thorough examination to rule out damage to the ear canal or inner ear.
And there needs to be followup exams, IMO.
The only experience I have with this kind of event was when a bullet whizzed by my ear. It was a 22 caliber and it just sounded like the air was crackling as it went by. There was no concussion wave or high decibel sound associated. I have doubts that it was sufficient to cause a concussion or damage to the ear drum. I can’t say how close it came to my ear but it was not close enough to cause me to note anything other than its passing.
Yes – I’ve experienced BOTH “bullets whizzing by” and “gunfire close enough to cause blast damage” – and they’re two completely different things.
My main worry is that Trump could have received a “head knock” by the bullet just grazing him. THAT is something that could cause a concussion. Under most circumstance, that would leave a slight head wound, but not always.
That’s the person who said the shooter should have practiced and had better aim.

I stopped at a stand selling Trump merchandise to pick up some new MAGA gear. The woman working at the stand said this has been one of her busiest days ever. 3) If I am a sniper or policeman and I see a guy with a gun pointed at the once and future President of the United States, I don’t give one fuck what my “orders” are. I’m shooting the motherfucker dead. They can sue me. I answer to God, not men. What the hell is wrong with these cowards?
4) The FBI is investigating. Great. They planned it, they executed it, and now they will cover it up. When Trump wins, there needs to be a reckoning the likes of which our government has never seen. All these unconstitutional federal law enforcement agencies need to be shuttered, bulldozed, and the ground salted where they stood.
5) We as Americans were collectively granted a miracle from Almighty God yesterday. It is infuriating to me that leftists don’t realize what they are wishing on our country. BREAKING: Dan Bongino says sources tell him there were very few actual Secret Service agents posted at the Butler rally site. He says a lot of them were temp Homeland Security agents.
Bongino says this was gross incompetence by the Secret Service Counter Sniper Team and the entire Secret Service.
