God’s Protection
Ultimately, our protection comes from God. In times of physical and spiritual attack and in threatening situations of all kinds, those who trust in the Lord find Him to be a strong Protector. “He shields all who take refuge in him” (Psalm 18:30). Here are some other passages that emphasize the protection of God:
“You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance” (Psalm 32:7).
“You make your saving help my shield, and your right hand sustains me; your help has made me great. You provide a broad path for my feet, so that my ankles do not give way” (Psalm 18:35–36).
“You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word” (Psalm 119:114).
“Lord, how many are my foes! How many rise up against me! . . . But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high” (Psalm 3:1, 3).
Under the Old Covenant, God promised physical protection to His people, the Israelites, as they kept the law (Deuteronomy 7:11–26). That divine protection extended to keeping them safe against the nations that would come against them as they entered the Promised Land: “I will send My terror ahead of you, and throw into confusion all the people among whom you come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you” (Exodus 23:27, NASB). Here we see God protecting those whose actions accorded with His foreordained plans and purpose.
Psalm 121 is a wonderfully encouraging song for those who trust fully in God. The psalmist first identifies that his help comes from the Lord of all the earth (Psalm 121:1–2). He then instructs us on the attentiveness of the Lord toward His children—the One who never slumbers is on duty night and day (Psalm 121:3–6). Finally, the psalmist assures us that the God who watches us will keep us from harm and that He oversees all our activities now and forever (Psalm 121:7–8).
Individuals who knew the protection of God include David (Psalm 18:3; 54:7; 138:7); Noah (Genesis 7); Daniel (Daniel 6); and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego (Daniel 3). God’s protection was even evident in Job’s life. Yes, Job suffered many trials as a result of the attacks of Satan, but God established boundaries that Satan could not cross. Satan was limited to doing only what God allowed, and nothing more (Job 1—3). Through all the misery and afflictions Job endured, God was protecting him from greater harm. God also protected Job’s faith, allowing Job to be tested only so far before He stepped in and spoke to Job (Job 38—42). Job could not see God working behind the scenes, but he came to understand that God’s protection is sure and faithful. God promises His people, “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (see Deuteronomy 31:6; Joshua 1:5; 1 Chronicles 28:20; Hebrews 13:5).
In Scripture, God used several means of protecting His people, including angels (Psalm 91:11–12), fire (2 Kings 1:9–10), floods (Judges 5:21), escape routes (Acts 9:24–25), royal decrees (Ezra 6:11–12), pagan armies (Acts 23:23–24), and insomnia (Esther 6). God’s power and creativity are unlimited.
God’s promise of protection does not guarantee that we will never know pain or loss. Job’s story shows us that, although God is able to deliver us out of every physical calamity or trouble, it may not be His will to do so. Sometimes He uses trials to purify us. At these times, we should “count it pure joy” because, by allowing trials, God tests our faith to develop a deeper faith so that we persevere and grow to maturity and Christlikeness (James 1:2–3). Protecting us from trials is not always beneficial to us.
Also, God does not always shield us from the results of our own sins or the negative effects of the sins of others. Our world is fallen, and we endure its hardships. Many in Jesus Christ endure persecution (2 Timothy 3:12). Jesus assured His disciples, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). In every situation, however, God remains in control, and our sufferings have a limit. God will not allow us to be tested beyond our ability to bear it (1 Corinthians 10:13). “The waves may toss and roar,” God says, “but they can never pass the boundaries I set” (Jeremiah 5:22, NLT).
The promise of physical protection is not ours under the New Covenant; rather, our focus is on God’s spiritual protection against the enemies of our soul. For our spiritual protection, God has given us spiritual armor (Ephesians 6:10–18) and His own peace to guard our hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7). The essence of God’s protection is the eternal indwelling of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 2:21–22). It is this protection that Paul had in mind when he wrote, “The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen” (2 Timothy 4:18). The Romans could do their worst, but Paul had confidence that “to be absent from the body [is] to be present with the Lord” (2 Corinthians 5:8).
The believer is sealed for the day of final glorification (Ephesians 1:13–14). No matter what happens in this world, heaven is our home. We are spiritually safe. “Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit” (Jeremiah 17:8). We draw near to God and trust His protection. We invite His work in us, knowing that He will accomplish His good purpose in our lives (Romans 8:28–39).

IMO, because of several things.
FIRST, the bullet that hit the real shooter’s head lost a lot of energy from a long shot.
SECOND, because that fake head is actually a poor substitute for a real human head.
THIRD, because I suspect the round used in reality was not the same one used in the test.
To be very blunt about point 2, a human head actually exploding like the fake head did in that video is RARE, and typically requires a projectile substantially bigger than those from normal rifles and pistols.

On Women vs Men.
I am a great believer in EQUAL PAY FOR EQUAL WORK. However WOMEN =/= MEN physically PERIOD. (It is why men should not compete in Women’s Sports after all.)
Back in 2015/6 there was a discussion in the comments at American Stinker on the subject. A female marine in the chat backed me up. BECAUSE of the difference between a man’s pelvis vs a women’s, we CAN NOT carry heavy weight for years and years as a career combat, Fire Fighter Leo should be able to. It eventually takes it’s toll. She backed this up with her long term pelvic/hip problems as a career marine.
What is very interesting is the photos/diagrams I used back then are NOW GONE! The currently available photos/diagrams DO NOT SHOW THE SHARP DIFFERENTIATION IN THE ATTACHMENT ANGLE OF THE LEGS! This is very important because the load on the back/shoulders is much more directly transferred in a man.

Even back in the 19th century when women were expected to be stay-at-home moms, the US mint loved to employ them as adjusters and even sometimes as press operators. (The hirsute folks worked in the places where alloys were mixed and planchets were punched out.)
What was an “adjuster”? They were responsible for taking the unstruck blanks, metal disks of 90 percent silver or gold, and ensuring they were at exactly the right weight. This was especially critical for gold, because an underweight or overweight coin would legally not be worth its face value, and people trusted that face value. (25.8 grains of 90 percent pure gold was a dollar…by definition…from 1837 onwards. It wasn’t worth a dollar, it was a dollar.) So these adjusters were expected to weigh each gold blank, individually, and if it was overweight, file just enough off to get it down to weight. (I believe that they did this by grabbing the coin between thumb and forefinger, torquing it a bit (so the disk would spin) while it was set next to a file. That way the shavings would come off the edge of the coin. I’m partly speculating here.) Underweight blanks had to go back to the melting pot, which was more expensive, so the mint workers who created the planchets tended to err on the side of making them a bit too heavy.
The adjusters got to the point where they could tell a blank was too heavy just from picking it up…even if only by a tiny fraction of a grain.
Women were preferred because the perception was they were better for such finely detailed, yet monotonous, work. Which lines up with what Gail is saying here.
[as an aside, in the very early, 1790s days of the mint, adjustment was done by filing across the flat surface of the planchet, so many coins made back then still show “adjustment marks” even after they were struck. I’ve been unable to find a picture.]
Steve, mine is based on a dept. with over 60 workers. The department head was NEVER able to get ONE man to work in the department beyond a couple months. He was in the company a lot longer than I am so probably had a sample size of 100 or more.
Finally found a picture of the old-style adjustment marks. on a silver half dime of 1795. And in this case it’s clear the adjustment happened after the coin was struck, otherwise the grooves would go through the fields as well.

However, at the next glance … there is what is obvious and then there is what lurks under the surface. And the magician that does the show and tell with one hand while no-one gets to notice what trick he does with his other.
So perhaps all this sound and fury is generated in order to mask the insertion of some other bad component with a latent issue, which can be made apparent at such time as the Cabal decides.

One way to mitigate this would be to make sure there is a firewall in front of the server which is closed to all inbound connections for the duration — it must be closed before the recovery and update job is done, and left closed until it has been completed.
But if this isn’t carefully done, ouch and yikes.
The analogy to biological diversity is again apt: with all the machines running the Crowdstrike on certain recent version of Windows Server, the situation is like with the Cavendish bananas, that if one pest or disease can gain a hold on the banana and do damage and spread — where it goes off on one they will all go.
Not that Linux are free of worms and bugs, but there are some major differences, in that updating anything there generally does not require any special opened-up state of the machine that has to last for a while, and usually not require a reboot either. Remediation generally will be a matter of copying in new and improved file in some particular privileged location, then re-starting an associated daemon (background process, service; whatever the local terminology uses).
And on the side of binary threats, something that affects an Intel system will not do much on an ARM based system since the processor talks a different language. And vice versa. But as there are some very commonly and widespread versions, such as all the Debian derivatives, a hole in one component available through some common access mechanism, such as web browsing, will open up in all the similar systems. Yet, replacing these components can be done with no need to ever have the machine wide-open.

Two days later Crowdstrike causes the biggest computer network crash in all of history, knocking millions of corporate and government systems offline for hours.

So if DJT announces Bitcoin as a U.S. treasury asset, and if he then says he will appoint Larry Fink as Treasury secretary, then nobody is bullish enough on Bitcoin 😁 🚀 🚀 🚀
I think DJT finally understands, thanks to his recent Bitcoin advisors, what everyone who pays attention to Bitcoin understands.
Bitcoin has a finite supply that can never be debased or inflated.
America has the world reserve currency (for the time being).
If they wanted to, the government could print worthless fiat currency and use it to buy Bitcoin, which is finite.
It may take 1 more 4-year cycle, but the price of Bitcoin, on it’s current trajectory, could easily hit $1M per Bitcoin by 2028-2029.
If the U.S. gov’t was buying it at sub $100k, and it goes 10x over the next couple years, that could pay down a huge amount of debt, and it costs the government practically nothing besides interest, and even borrowing at 10% interest is nothing compared to a 10x return on investment.
But I don’t think a gov’t run by someone like DJT would sell Bitcoin to pay off debt, I think they would hold it as a treasury reserve asset, just like gold, to support the otherwise meaningless ‘full faith and credit’ in the U.S. dollar.
The more Bitcoin the Treasury held, the stronger the dollar would be. The stronger the dollar is, the more Bitcoin they can buy with it.
It’s a variation on what Michael Saylor of Microstrategy (ticker: MSTR) has been doing, what people have called ‘the infinite money’ glitch.
Saylor issues convertible debt or dilutes (adds) shares or borrows money outright at very low interest rates (whichever strategy makes most sense at a given time).
He uses all of the money to buy Bitcoin. This makes MSTR stock more valuable because every share of MSTR represents more Bitcoin.
As the value of the stock goes up, they issue more shares (or debt, or borrow more money) to buy more Bitcoin.
After doing this repeatedly for several years, MSTR is about to be added to the S&P 500 (apparently it’s currently in the top 300 companies, so they blew right past the 500 cut-off).
Funds from all over the world hold S&P 500 ETFs, so when MSTR is added to the S&P 500, those ETFs will all have to buy MSTR as part of their ETF.
This makes MSTR stock price go up, which allows Saylor to issue more debt and buy more Bitcoin.
DJT could do the same thing, on a scale that makes MSTR insignificant.
I don’t really expect it to happen, but then the fact that it could happen, and the fact that it offers an escape from the global debt problem, means it should happen, if anyone was in charge who actually wanted to solve the problem instead of make it worse.
DJT is a problem solver.
And he is getting counsel now from people who understand the solution.

You have heard about fake lab grown meat – But now the new thing is fake lab made butter.
And you can never guess who is supporting and promoting this? None other than Bill Gates…
The company is called Savor and is making butter out of thin air. They capture CO2 out of the air and then turn it into butter in their lab. They use a therm o-chemical process to build fat molecules and making chains of carbon dioxide, hydrogen and oxygen. This is not margarine, and it is not butter. It is completely chemically made in a lab without dairy and without vegetable oils like margarine.
And all of this is supposed to stop climate change
Sludge and waste mass gassification :
Interesting enough the process, take energy and CO2 (and presumably water) and make long chain molecules out of that. Similar to the ones in butter or oils. Now, hopefuly they can control whether these are going to be cis-fats (good to less good) or trans-fats (very bad)? Why bother with eating, wouldn’t it be even more useful to make fuel hydrocarbons in this process?
All this just to get rid of a little CO2….
Still, it looks like a waste of energy compared to the natural process, of grass growing, then have cows eat the grass, and produce milk which is churned into real butter. But that is old-school and legacy and non-sexy and unfashionable and no-one wants to invest.
This Savor thing may be something real or it might be like a lot of these other «green and environment» inspired enterprises, that start out loud and brash with visions and funding, then three months and $10 M later the air has gone out of the bubble and everyone has resigned or been laid off. We will see what it is in three months’ time.

Remember burning, the release of energy, is taking those hydrocarbons apart to form H2O and CO2.

Agreed this requires energy. (Things that require energy won’t happen spontaneously without it; but as you know, not everything that gives off energy will just happen either, there’s entropy to think about as well as heats of ignition and so on.)
Of course it take energy to get butter from cows, too, though the cows (and the grass they eat) supply much of it for “free.”

That photo and the other one definitely look like Crooks, not Yearick, and they are said to have been taken on the scene.
The second video is fascinating. It shows that the second-story window was not only open, but that it had a clear view of Crooks’s position on the roof. So whoever was in there would have known about Crooks not only from people’s reports, but by seeing him with their own eyes. Yet nothing was done.
But IMO the most interesting thing is the theory that the shot that hit Trump came from the second-floor window, not from Crooks. That would make this a coordinated assassination attempt and Crooks a patsy.
The question is raised about the bullet casings. Crooks’s casings would have ejected to his right and should have been easy to find either on the roof or in the grass below. That would reveal how many there were (how many shots he fired), the caliber, etc. I have no doubt that information about all the casings has been known since right after the event.
The video makes it clear that it is not accusing the SS or any law enforcement, but that someone made the decision that those buildings were outside the perimeter, and that person(s) needs to be questioned.
@ 10:20 on the right of 2nd story bldg you can see the outline of the DOOR onto the roof. It has a smaller window. You can also see it at 22:30 although it looks like a rain water down spout next to the access door.

The Two Alex’s seem a bit baffled over how Joe can step aside from the campaign and stay POTUS. Well, it is rather simple and it has been done before. Johnson did it. Just announced that you want to focus on running the country without being distracted by campaigning “in these troubled times” and that you are leaving the door open for new younger folks to carry on your legacy. No problem at all.
The part I find interesting is how the infighting and backbiting of the Old Guard brought all this about. There’s a big fight between the Back Room Money Men, the Obama Faction, the Hillary Faction, and there is clueless Kamala in the headlights…
All because these folks come from Negative Motivations. They embrace deception, manipulation, and self dealing / self interest. They want suck up underlings and yes men galore. In the end, that decay leads to rot and collapse. They are left with no one of merit to run as their “public face”. Empty Suit (and empty brain…) Old Joe? Cackling Kamala?
