Rights don’t work like that.
There is no ‘should have’ or ‘should not have’ with regard to ‘unalienable’ rights.
The word ‘unalienable’ precludes the possibility that the so-called ‘right’ in question could be taken away. If it really was an ‘unalienable right’, there would be no controversy, so the ‘thing’ you’re talking about is clearly not a ‘right’ at all.
What you are really talking about is a license, not a right. Rights are granted by God, but licenses are granted by government to do what would otherwise be unlawful.
The classic example being James Bond, who was granted a ‘license’ to kill.
The Left wants to be the James Bond of baby killers.
You want a license, a permission from government, to violate someone else’s unalienable right, i.e. the baby’s true and actual unalienable right to life. There can be no right more fundamental than the right to life itself. So what you are really talking about is a license to kill.
But it’s more than that, because there are many circumstances where it is lawful to kill someone in defense of self or others. But an unborn baby is a threat to no one, so what is being sought by the Left is not even a license to kill, what they seek is a license to murder.
You want a government-granted permission to act as a fig leaf, a veil of false legitimacy, to cover up murder, by calling it a ‘reproductive right’.
Besides all that, God-given rights don’t apply to some people but not others. If it really was a God-given unalienable ‘right’, then everyone would have it.
But men don’t have it.
Let a man try to murder a baby, and see where that gets him.
So no matter how you twist it, the thing Leftists purposely mischaracterize as a ‘reproductive right’ is not a ‘right’ at all, they’re just trying to falsely present it as such, in order to falsely claim the moral high ground.
But no moral high ground can be attained by lying in order to murder an innocent person.
Just take his money but keep him under close observation lest he thinks it bought him something.

Lifting the few remaining restrictions on military aid to Ukraine won’t rescue the collapsing Ukrainian Armed Forces from total annihilation or restore Washington’s military or diplomatic credibility.
Pompeo’s proposal is analogous to bringing a hammer to a chess match. The hammer won’t alter the outcome of the game, and it completely misses the point of strategic thinking.
It’s time to suspend all military aid to the corrupt Ukrainian regime, withdraw all U.S. citizens in and out of uniform from Ukraine, and offer to treat the proposals Moscow tabled in December 2021 and January 2022 as the basis for a negotiated settlement.
Washington and its European Allies need the restoration of economic stability and industrial redevelopment. It’s a recognition of strategic reality and the humanitarian needs of the Ukrainian People.

okay…this was weird. yesterday we had a power outage–for like less than minute. when the power came back on, i had no internet–hubby who’s working from home in another room HAD internet.
I rebooted and when my internet came back on, i couldn’t access any site–not email, not news sites–not any wp site–but one…tcth. wth?
then he lost his internet. ( we have satellite internet)
we left the house to go grocery shopping and while we were on the highway–we saw a huge military looking transport plane flying through the valley coming in our direction. it was low and when it flew over it was immense!

The video this came from is called the David Stewart Video. The FBI was in possession of this video before it was released back to Stewart.
A version of the above came out the day before Stewart got his video back. That early release was sped up and appeared even more shakey than the Stewart Video. When the lights appeared in that early video no shots could be heard. With the early shaky video being released the still picture above was also released. Conclusion is the video was tampered with by the FBI.

Update on my friend:
i haven’t heard from her since yesterday. they were transferring her to another hospital–a rehabilitational facility because they told her her stroke was “too mild” to stay in that unit and they needed the bed.
she hadn’t spoken to an actual doctor or gotten the results of her tests given to her. she does have weakness in her right leg, and has been unable to pick up anything as heavy as a pot for weeks.
I think not speaking with the doctor who ordered the tests is unforgivable–she has no clue what happened to her–why her heart was racing–if there is damage to her aorta–nothing!
Modern medicine. UGH.

I’m sorry about your friend and pray for her health and for her care. That said, I would be on the phone harrassing people until I got answers. Withholding information from her is completely unacceptable. She needs to know exactly who decided she needed to be moved, what her test results are, what her treatment plan is, etc. She also needs to be sure they aren’t placing her on “palliative care,” which is the road to hospice in my experience. Patients need advocates these days because health care has become an adversarial process.
I would almost bet they are placing her on “palliative care” given no test results and no Doctor consultation.
That would be my guess as well. Friggin’ quacks.

Chris Martinsen used Cullen’s work. He did his calcs at 3106 I think. Cullen used leaving muzzle at 3100 arrives at 2900, so roughly 3,000. Then the crack thump only takes me to the window and not to the kid on the roof.
This is why it is so important to have accurate measurements. It is important to know it is 472 feet to the shooter. So strange behavior, why say that distance is something other than what it is?

My college gf had gone to a small private High School where one of the other girls — a scion of the Lear family — was named Chrysta. Middle name Shanda.
While my gf was a freshman at the University of Casual Sun-Bathing, her former classmate was in February’s Hustler magazine under the name of “Candy”. She may have felt this was a step up from being a light fixture.
There was an Ima Hogg but not a Ura Hogg, although people had fun making up the names.

Somehow I doubt I would be good at guessing correctly. I don’t know what a Jeremy or a Frank or a Christine or a Sandra is supposed to look like.
I think it’s easier if a name is not in as common use anymore, so that older people would be more likely to have names like Georgia, Victoria, Harvey, or Clarence (although those are perfectly good names that young people could have too).
It would also be easier if ethnicity were involved.

Cullen has done more audio analysis at 1/10 speed and found several more (16?) silenced shots.
I really do not know enough to judge his info, although he is using crowd sourcing.
Earlier in the video (40 mins) he has the video + the audio but I found it confusing. however at 1:02:50 he has just the audio. At the slowed speed you can actually hear the silenced round. These sync with those flashes in the window.
OH and you can also see a DRONE in the earlier part.

Cullen probably used the wrong video speed on those shots. He used 8000 frames per second (the NYT camera guy’s speed) for a video that was probably at a much lower frame rate. IF the frame rate is higher (in the thousands), then he may have something, but if it’s only in the hundreds or less, it was a bogus hypothesis.
People called Cullen out on it online, and he never admitted wrongness that I could see, but he seems to have backed off on the theory.
It sounded solid at 8000 fps, but I’m afraid it’s wrong.

To me it seems that Cullen is involved in pushing divergent theories that seem alike in many ways yet different in key points. Doing this he’s going to force doubt into the publics mind and ensure even the best theories remain just theories. Conspiracy theories.
From the ground? He was shot by an officer from the ground..not those counter snipers with the tripods on the roof by DJT?
The TENTH shot was from the roof countersnipers with the tripods and spotters with rifles (2 teams), and I believe it was the far team that took the shot (#10).
The NINTH shot was 1 second after the volley of 5, and THAT was the mystery shot. It sounded like a countersniper shot, without a clear doubling. It was definitely different from the first 8, and sounded more like the 10th to me.
Is this the idea:
The 9th shot was taken by a local LE officer on the ground and it missed Crooks (or whoever that was). The 10th shot was taken by SS on the roof, and it killed him?
I’m not up on the latest theories. I’m wondering if the 9th-shot LE officer saw Crooks shooting, or whether he just knew shots had been fired and saw Crooks on the roof. In other words, it’s not clear to me how many shots Crooks fired and whether it would have been apparent that he was shooting.

As for the second paragraph…..
Opinion is generally separating the first 3 shots from the next 5 shots, with MSM and allies saying they’re all Crooks, and others (like me) saying they’re very likely different guns. Most of the latter are saying that the first three shots are not Crooks, with 4-8 being Crooks.
I’m still foggy on where the SWAT LEO who took shot 9 was located, and how he spotted his target. It may be in the WaPo piece.

It looks like he MISSED, but he spooked Crooks/Yearick, and that is what ended things.
Consider this. If the USSS were all in on the attack (which I don’t believe), having an outside SWAT guy interrupt the plot might have forced resolution by killing Yearick.
I had suspected that the pros fired the ninth shot, and that still could be true, but I suspect more strongly that this was an honest shot.
