IMO Kelly was most likely playing politics.
He sounded too “glum” about things (out of contention) with that first post, and upon speculation that it sounded like he was out of consideration for VP, he deleted and changed it to sound like he was still under consideration. But why?
NOW – here is my PRIME THEORY.
I think the leak of the Josh Shapiro pick was intentional by Kamp Kamala/Obama – on one level (“ostensibly”) to see if Shapiro has too much baggage, or is too toxic, both of which are great excuses to “shake the pesky Jew off the ticket”. So part of that is Obama trying to “shake” Shapiro out of consideration. Why? Shapiro was an early endorser of Obama, but IMO did that STRATEGICALLY for Israel (because he’s “Israel First”), knowing that Hussein is actually anti-Israel and pro-Iran. I think Shapiro is a smooth operator in cuddling up to Hussein. “Keep your enemies closer.” Snake vs. snake.
I think the ambitious Kelly is watching that sideshow like a hawk. I think he played into that in a way to show his availability, BUT he wanted it to look natural, so he “took himself out of consideration”, then waited for the inevitable calling out, so that he could “put himself back into consideration” and it would not look too needy.
A bunch of political psychology and machinations – all pretending not to be there at all.
PS – I love that Indian woman (Navajo?) giving Kelly the super-subtle side-eye! It reminds me of this meme (one example)…..

SALLY Q UPDATE – Debby is now a Hurricane with max winds of 80 mph, barely making it a hurricane – Category 1. It will make landfall about where Hurricane Idalia did last Fall and follow almost the same path as Idalia. It will pass right over the Village some time between 2-3 pm today.
We may not have internet then and right now it can be real slow. The Village does have power right now, but had a short short power outage last night. Sally has some limited emergency power to keep her lift running, and it will run the router and microwave, lights, but no AC, stove or refrigerator. Power may go out for the whole area if trees, limbs and power lines are damaged when the storm advances.
I’ll be here with Sally for the duration. She slept through the big hurricane last Fall!

Good morning again! – I managed to make hot coffee – by moving the pot to her dining where her outlets are working.
It’s really blowing and the rain is pouring down. I did a walk around – the exit doors are blowing open. There are leaks here and there. The emergency drains are backing up due to rain filling them. One new resident said her windows were leaking.
There are some refugees from the outlying neighborhoods with blankets looking sleepy. In one of the meeting rooms a very thin white-haired elderly lady is stretched out on two dining chairs.
The day is young – the storm came in at the local destination for seafood restaurants – a fishing village called Steinhatchee. It will be over us between 1-3pm today. I can’t imagine it being worse than now, but by then it will probably be a tropical storm.

Good morning, Miss Pat! Debby is now a Hurricane with max winds of 80 mph, barely making it a hurricane – Category 1. It will make landfall about where Hurricane Idalia did last Fall and follow almost the same path as Idalia. It will pass right over the Village some time between 2-3 pm today.
We may not have internet then and right now it can be real slow. The Village does have power right now, but had a short short power outage last night. Sally has some limited emergency power to keep her lift running, and it will run the router and microwave, lights, but no AC, stove or refrigerator. Power may go out for the whole area if trees, limbs and power lines are damaged when the storm advances.
I’m here with Sally for the duration. I’ve been through several Hurricanes, Tropical Storms and power outages over the 20 years. So far, my house in the city hasn’t been damaged, but trees fell on several houses at the Village last Fall. The longest power outage was 4 days at my house when Hurricane Irma passed through. However, we had a spring storm this year that, though it wasn’t a tornado, knocked down 500 power poles and many trees were damaged.

Central North Carolina is due to get the “remnants” of Debby on Thursday through Friday, with some of the “advance rainfall” coming in late Wednesday. There already are warnings about heavy rain and accumulation.
There are no actual “assault weapons” in civilian hands, without extreme licensing from FBI. All our civilian semi-automatic weapons are NOT actually “assault weapons”.
There are, however, ANTI-MOB WEAPONS, like the AR-15, which are available for civilian use.

Bitcoin is down quite a bit, too. I will be watching this as it looks like the threatened financial implosion might well be underway.
It appears that what has roiled all of the markets is what is called the ‘Japan carry trade’.
If I understand correctly, institutions have been borrowing enormous amounts of Japanese yen at very low interest rates, and using it to buy assets (primarily in the U.S. markets), which have been outperforming most world markets while also being the ‘safest’ world market.
So for example, if you borrow from Japan at 1% and invest in the U.S. and make a 5% (or more) return, you make the difference (4%) for nothing, using other people’s money.
If you borrow $10 billion worth of yen, and make 4%, that starts to add up to real profits.
And once one institution does it, all the others are monkey see, monkey do, and it grows and grows and grows.
And it worked fine, until suddenly Japan raised interest rates.
If the ‘Japan carry trade’ game is no longer profitable, or if the institutions believe it’s about to turn unprofitable, they need to get out of it.
To do that, they need to sell whatever U.S. and other assets they bought with the money they borrowed from Japan, in order to repay the hundreds of billions (or trillions) that have been borrowed.
When lots of institutions start selling all at once, markets go boom.
And the whole world suffers, because there is no one to prevent this kind of reckless market manipulation, and even if there was someone to prevent it, they would be corrupted instantly (blackmailed, bribed or both) or be replaced with someone who was.
Because that’s the world we live in.

The volatility of crypto can really make the stock markets seem silly.
If I remember correctly, the March 2020 low for Bitcoin was around $3.5k, the 2021 high for Bitcoin was $69k, and the 2022 low was around $15k. That’s a 78% drop.
2023 was mostly sideways until the end of the year (ETF news) when it hit $42k.
2024 (so far) has had a new all time high of $73.8k, and currently Bitcoin is at $53.8k.
Bitcoin can move 12% (up or down) on any given day.
And there are no ‘circuit breakers’, no training wheels, no do-overs, no bail-outs for banks, etc.
It may be the only actual ‘free market’ left in the world, because there is no one (and no one can be) in charge. If there was someone in charge, if it was possible for someone to be in charge, that person or group would be corrupt, because like every other position of power that controls access to wealth, they wouldn’t be allowed to be in charge otherwise.
That very volatility is why you can’t expect to use it for money on a regular basis.

Why is this a surprise?
Yes, but at one time there was not air conditioning and August in DC is hotter than hell. Oh wait… they should get used to it considering what’s coming for many.
The humidity is the killer, and as close as Washington is to the Bay, it’s massively humid. It’s not nearly as hot as it is here, that’s for sure. Plus, in that sort of job, some time off to recharge is a good thing. Although, this year, I’m sure there will be lots of campaigning. Plus the Democrat convention is coming up. Half of Congress would have been there anyway.
But, still, August in many places is a time to take off and unwind. Here, the city empties out for the first two weeks. I NEVER scheduled big meetings until the third week, so many people were out of town. The campgrounds are always full. The rivers have massive numbers of people on float trips. That’s why I am dog sitting this week. A relative’s extended family takes a week at one of the lakes this week every year. I’m usually here for that.

Popular restaurant chain closes locations, files for bankruptcy
Just days after abruptly closing several locations, Buca Di Beppo has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
According to the court documents filed just before midnight on August 4, 2024, the Orlando-based company currently holds $0 to $50,000 in assets and owes at least $15 million – $50 million to at least 30 creditors.
The bankruptcy filing comes only days after the company abruptly closed 13 underperforming stores.
Buca di Beppo has approximately 44 locations across 14 states and two international locations. It has eight restaurants in California, most of them in the Los Angeles area.
According to the filing, the company has been hit hard by a significant drop in sales alongside rising food and labor costs, continued staffing challenges, and changes in customer preferences.
At this time, there is no indication in the court documents that any other locations, besides the locations that closed last week, will be closing as a result of this filing.
The locations that have closed and the company is seeking to reject the leases include:

So, this guy JARED BERNSTEIN, got his bachelor’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music, double bass major. His MS and PhD degrees are in Social Work. From what Yours Truly can find, Bernstein never worked at a bank, never worked in securities, never worked in financial analysis, etc. Yet, he “taught” college courses at Columbia, for example, on “federal, state, and international economic policies.” Then he moved on to work at liberal think tanks (Economic Policy Institute), then went into government work.
Dumb as a stump. Perfectly qualified for a democrat appointment.

The market is already pointing to higher openings tomorrow. There may be some turbulence for the remainder of the week but a buy and hold will likely be well rewarded. The sheep will just follow back into market a bit later and they’ll be set and ready to do it again when Trump is President.

After that and reading the comments, for the first time it seemed like it might be possible that some of the eye witnesses were crisis actors. It never occurred to me at all. Now, it seems entirely possible
Thanks for bringing this. I was trying to raise some of these issues, rather poorly it seems, about how the “shooter”/deceased seemed to be at the Western edge of the building in multiple images, before & after death, but then the body was more like in the Eastern third or quarter of the rooftop, where it was potentially deceptively staged. I also had significant issues with the “streetlight” in multiple shots, including how large it seemed in relation to people. Those drone shots of the body alone on the roof do Not appear to have the blood trail from the body to the eaves either, at least that’s how it seems to me. But given the gun 10 feet away from the deceased authorities have already been up there at least once…but then why are they leaving that crime scene unattended while these drone shots are taken? I’m only a few minutes into the video so perhaps some of this gets addressed further on.
I was trying to show my hubby some images to get his take but he really wouldn’t bite. He said that without A Lot more info it was hard to make an accurate assessment. He knows more about photography than I do & neither of us has significant knowledge of camera lens capability or how distances might be compressed in focusing on a specific object/person in an image.
It would be awesome if a photo expert would weigh in like how Dr. Martensen has been weighing in with audio analysis…

The thing that explains the witnesses camera angle while taking pictures of him up on the roof, is that the witnesses were standing on a hill. It can also bee seen in the picture looking at the trees blocking the view of him at 9:07 clearly shows that whole building is on LOWER ground and that’s why the witnesses on the higher ground could see so well right across the roof at near roof level. I figured it out.
The top picture was RIGHT AS THEY FOUND THE BODY.
That blood trail is the original blood trail, pumped out by the shooter’s heart or a minute or so, with only slight movement of the body just before filming.
The bottom picture is after the body was examined and removed. IMO a lot of blood came out at that time.
You can see the original trail UNDERNEATH the much more massive trail in the lower picture.
The bottom picture was HOURS later.
It’s a good theory. The top pic, from the body cam I think, was at least a half hour after the shooting, iirc (Gail did the calculation some days back I believe). Given the hot roof & the heart not beating I’m not sure that Lots of blood would be oozing out of a dead body, even as it’s being moved though. Wouldn’t the blood be congealing or drying up, especially in that heat?

But given the gun “10 feet” away someone has already been up there at least once since the “killing”…
I think it would be helpful to have a timeline of the images, as well as the events, to try to nail down the “facts” as best as can be done…

While I believe there are more pressing issues affecting humanity than how much of The Trump assassination attempt is staged, I did run across an interesting (2 hr) YouTube Leon Hendrix interview with Chase Hughes, titled “US Government Brainwashing Expert on Trump Shooting and Human Hacking.” Hughes is a US Government brainwashing and interrogation expert.
The interview does not answer questions regarding what happened that day, but it does discuss brainwashing and human behavior. The first 20 to 30 minutes were especially interesting to me. In addition to discussing brainwashing, Hughes talks about Edward Bernays, considered the inventor of propaganda. His uncle was psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud. Of all Bernay’s books, “Crystalizing Public Opinion” (1923) and “Propaganda” (1928) stand out like training material for how to manipulate the public. Both US parties seem to use this material to lead us where they wish. But I would say that Swiss bankers (controllers of all Central Banks), WEF, and NATO are above them all running the show (the whole world).
Watching the Hughes interview won’t solve the assassination attempt, but it will bring insight into why we cling so tightly to the beliefs of our tribe and how our brains fill in things we did not actually see. Our brains are not merely data storage devices.
I do not endorse anyone, especially intelligence personnel, but I do believe we can learn important things from others to get clearer picture of how this world actually works.

Ground report of sorts continuing a discussion from the other day.
So, due to a gig which has me telling whining dogs, no, I’ve crossed the infernal Mighty Mississippi nine times in the last three days on two different bridges covering all interstates passing through here.
From what I can see, the majority of the big rigs (and there are a lot) appear to be coming north on I-55 and then either getting on 55/70 until the split, which I did not pass in the last few days, or continuing east on I-64 as that’s where the Poplar Street goes. I almost got wiped by one on the bridge this afternoon. he knew I was behind him in the left lane, and I was waiting for him to put a signal on just knowing how this works, and nooo, not until I was halfway past. It’s like these people don’t know that bridge splits onto two different ramps both headed for the same place (which, incidentally, has been partially resurfaced. Thank God).
Anyway, traffic is at August levels, meaning lighter as the city and the surrounding area empties out the first two weeks of August every year. Once school starts, that’s another matter.
If you were halfway past him, you were in his blind spot, right? I’m so glad you got home safe.
I’m not “home” exactly. I do spend a lot of time here with the guys, though.

Those of us who have been adults since the ’80s have now seen our economy and our savings crash for the third time. Our children are seeing their second crash. And now Gen Z is experiencing it for the first time.
Pray for the seniors who may never recover again. They will be the hardest hit by this, I’m afraid.
Check in on your older friends and family. Offer them comfort in this trying time.
Remember that they were also hardest hit by the plandemic. They’ve lost more than savings. They have lost many of their generation. On top of that, they have been hated, derided, and disrespected simply for being part of a particular generation. An “immutable characteristic” as it were.
Have some grace toward their suffering in this time.

Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me through this day and Lord, forgive me for the times when I have wandered outside Your best will for me, instead of trusting You implicitly.
Thank You, that You are such a gracious Shepherd to me and that You come and rescue me even when I lose my way and stray from the path that You have laid out for me.
As I look back over today, I know Lord that there were things that I should have said and done differently, and times when I reacted in a manner that was not honouring Your holy name. Forgive me I pray, but thank You, Father, that You always faithfully prepared to gently bring me back to Yourself.

Social media operates off of fear in many ways. Politics uses fear as a weapon against the opposing side. For those seasoned in the great meme wars of 2016-2024, you know this all too well.
Peace and tranquility are not monikers you’d give to political gamesmanship or 5G narrative warfare. It’s quite the opposite actually. Waking up the populace is more akin to guerilla warfare.
It’s ugly.
It’s fought tooth and nail in the shadows.
There is a time and place for all of this. But might I suggest employing a much-needed spiritual component into it all? Clickbait and fear rule social media. Sometimes this stuff is amusing to look at. When Nancy Pelosi says Biden should be on Mount Rushmore. It’s a good time with friends to all point and laugh at how drunk she is.
It’s like a good candy to share. But this should likely not be our main source of food. Candy eaten incessantly as a main dish will make us unhealthy and sick.
The enemy knows no peace. This is their weak point.
This is what hurts them the most.
The fact that we have made it this far despite all situations that could have caused our faith to waver is outstanding. We lifted each other when things got as rough as they did. When morale needed boosting, we found a way. And think about how close this next election is at this point. We are staring down the barrel of a potentially combustible situation in nearly every facet of this country but guess what? I personally have zero fear.
I know that mystery Babylon is falling.
I know that God is guiding us through this peril. This needs to be our anchor.

Just for the record, you may be thinking of somebody other than me (probably Scott), because 9 times out of 10, any Democrat or leftist dirty trick is something I would regard as illegal, immoral, unethical, or sufficiently un-Christian and/or un-Biblical, to the degree that I could not advocate turnabout, even in return for the same egregious play on their part.
Just take smurfing. Even if the evil Dodge never went after us for smurfing, just like they never go after ActBlue or Democrats for smurfing, I simply can’t advocate doing it, because it clearly violates election law. It’s illegal. We are no longer the good guys if we do it.
On the other hand, I do think that if the Democrats are going to engage in legal AND illegal ballot harvesting, we should certainly engage in LEGAL ballot harvesting as well, because turnabout happens to actually BE fair play, in that case, so we should match them.
Before even considering going to option 3 (“turnabout is fair play”), I in fact advocate (1) consider “turn the other cheek” – see if it applies, and (2) “do the right thing” – which may include non-violent civil disobedience, but does not include cheating of any kind.
TL’DR – IF turnabout is actually fair play, consider it, but if not, don’t do it, because you will just turn into THEM.

My guess is that while they look like ordinary people, they are far from it.
