The 1988 carbon dating used a portion of the Shroud that was rewoven by well meaning French Nuns after a fire in 1532. For those who scoff at French reweaving, my grandmother’s aunt had a French reweaving business that was used by dry cleaners across the country for decades in the 20th century. As a little kid, I remember the magnifying glass which was on an adjustable arm with a fluorescent light that the reweavers used when they patched holes in clothing. (Somebody in the family still has one.) I also remember going to the reweaving shop downtown where the elevator was operated by an older gentleman, and there was a gate across the doorway rather than doors. It really was an art form. Aunt R’s best reweaver, G or Mrs. M, patched a silverfish hole in a kilt for me in the 90s. You’d never see that today.
They also are of the same blood type as the blood on the Crown of Thorns in Paris, and The Sudarium in Spain, and every Eucharistic Miracle known. AB for sure, and I’ve read that the Rh is negative.

Makes it look like with all this focus on the opposition, their programme might possbliy be so rotten and nasty that it best not be presented in details, lest everyone who isn’t a won-over NPC will run away screaming… So just focus on how bad the Bad Man Orange is, on and on, all day and all night long.
That’s what I was thinking. Okay, we can’t vote for Trump, we get it. But who or what are we supposed to vote for? Anybody we want? How about since you won’t say, we go vote for RFKjr?

So, a couple of thoughts on the concept of taxing unrealized gains…..
We’ll start with a confession of personal bias. At various times, I have owned shares in Ford, GM, AT&T, Sears, JC Penney, Lucent, Nortel, Xerox, and UMC. Pretty much all of them turned to crap while I owned them — sometimes after having bumped upward for a time and paying occasional dividends. If I had been obligated to pay tax every time one of them wiggled higher in its death throes, how would I have been compensated for this when they finally stopped twitching?
I live in a house in Silicon Valley. As the Fiancee and I frequently commented — we always wanted to live in a million-dollar neighborhood; we just never imagined it would be this one. We have owned this house for nearly 30 years while the government has run deficits of nearly $30T — which naturally leads to the devaluation of the dollar. Should the government be able to tax paper gains that result from inflation directly caused by the government?
There is another component to the value of our house — we have continually improved it with our hands, minds, and effort. Even if we share these improvements with nobody but ourselves, are we such slaves as any comfort we create for ourselves inures to the benefit of our masters?
Just tell ’em to F.O.
It’s not possible to tax a gain that isn’t realized, because if it isn’t realized, then you don’t HAVE it, and if you don’t HAVE it, then there isn’t anything to TAX.
By declaring a tax on something you don’t HAVE, then in order to pay it, you would have to realize the gain to cough up the money to pay the TAX.
The criminal gov’t cannot force anyone to SELL anything, in the same way that the gov’t cannot force anyone to BUY anything.
It’s a criminal violation of every conceivable understanding of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
It’s a direct assault on ALL three.
This is so FUNDAMENTAL that it murders brain cells just thinking about this idiocy.

As for ‘uninsured motorist’ they can’t force us to buy insurance either, we have the Common Law option of buying a bond (in lieu of insurance) for personal financial responsibility, and if I recall correctly, for those who are wealthy enough, they are (or can choose to be) self-insured.
Insurance is a scheme. They can attach whatever conditions they want to their schemes, and if we opt into their schemes, then we opt into the terms and conditions of their schemes, and they hold us accountable to those terms and conditions.
If we don’t opt into their schemes, then the terms and conditions don’t apply to those who are not part of their scheme.
If you are a professional football player, your employer may enforce a curfew on Saturday nights, and if you violate curfew, they can penalize you with a fine or by benching you for the game on Sunday (or both, or whatever else their contract says).
You effectively waive your ‘right’, by contract, to go out when and where you want to — at least on Saturday night — in exchange for being on the football team (and being well compensated for it).
If I am out past their team’s curfew on Saturday night, they can’t fine me or do anything else for that matter, because I’m not on their team, and I didn’t agree to any terms of their scheme. If they come knocking on my door and try to fine me, I can tell them to get off my property, and slam the door in their faces.
Two free people — one is legally bound to the terms and conditions of the scheme — and the other is not, because he did not opt into that scheme.

We have a Constitutionally guaranteed Right to work.
They can’t compel anyone to obtain a license for anything, including driving, UNLESS you drive for a commercial purpose (e.g., cab driver, semi-truck driver, UPS driver, etc.), which they can regulate.
But nobody has to do those jobs, we can do some other job that doesn’t require a license.
We have a Constitutionally guaranteed right to ‘keep and bear arms’, and eventually ALL states will recognize that reality, so no one will be expected to obtain a ‘license’ to exercise his RIGHT to carry. Many states already do.
The same principle is true about driving. There was no such thing as a ‘driver’s license’ when cars were invented, and in some states (Alaska, IIRC), there was no ‘driver’s license’ until the 1950s.
So driving a car without a license was well established in Common Law for half a century before licensing schemes were adopted nationally.
Long ago the (not)Supreme Court ruled that Americans have a RIGHT to TRAVEL by “whatever mode is common”, and besides feet, there is no mode of travel more common than the car.
A ‘license’ is a government permission to do that which is otherwise unlawful. The most famous example is James Bond’s ‘license to kill’.
The institution of marriage was created by God, for a man and a woman. There is nothing unlawful about a man and a woman getting married, and God did not require any ‘license’ for marriage.
So why is there a ‘marriage license’?
A ‘license’ to marry was only ‘required’ for people of different races to marry, which was illegal during the time when miscegenation laws (created by men) were still in existence.
No miscegenation laws today means no compelling reason for anyone to obtain a ‘license’ to get married.
So why make the State a partner in a 3-way contract, when the institution of marriage was only created for two people — a man and a woman?
Why opt into that licensing scheme?
It is not unlawful for an American to travel where he chooses to go, by whatever mode of travel is common, which includes cars.
Common Law requires personal financial responsibility, which is what a bond is for.
The point is that government is in the business of creating schemes for control. These ‘schemes’ become self-fulfilling when no one any longer questions them.
We just do them because that’s what everyone does.
With the passage of enough time and the creation of enough schemes, we are tied down by legalities and terms and conditions like Gulliver on the island of Lilliput. We are enslaved more and more, gradually over time, without even realizing it. A prison without bars.
But due to Common Law — which is the superior form of Law, the form of Law upon which our Constitution is based, and which predates modern civil law — what has been established as lawful under Common Law remains lawful.
Which means the government’s schemes must include loopholes, ways for people to live lawfully outside their concocted control schemes.
They don’t have to make it easy, and they certainly are not obligated to tell us how to do it, but they do have to make it possible.
In related news, I recently saw a video where Elon Musk claimed that in the future no one will drive, because the overwhelming safety advantage of self-driving EVs will cause the public to DEMAND self-driving cars.
This of course ignores some important considerations, at least one of which is non-negotiable.
1) some people actually like to drive, and the desire to actively participate in the control over a machine is effectively the whole reason for the existence of sports cars.
If non self-driving cars are eliminated, then sports cars are necessarily eliminated too, because there would be no reason for their existence.
And if sports cars are eliminated, then the sport of racing would be eliminated too, because who cares if a bunch of driverless cars race around a track against each other?

2) regardless of what the public may DEMAND, we don’t have a democracy where the mob rules, we have a Republic, where the rights of the individual are sacrosanct and protected from (and against) the will of the mob.
And one of those RIGHTS is the right to travel by whatever mode is common.
And there is nothing more common than the CAR.
So if the Public can be bamboozled into DEMANDING the elimination of cars in favor of self-driving electric vehicles, they can also take their ‘demand’ and shove it.
Because rights.

Including the billions in foreign aid, billions to Ukraine, billions to aid Israel, Billions to Gaza, etc etc. I don’t understand how the USA generates that much tax money.
They don’t! They PRINT it.
That certainly explains it nice and easy…..but besides me don’t any of the lemmings ever once ask themselves where all that tax payer $ comes from? Guess not 🤔

Well, isn’t this just great. Not only do we have student loans in our names that we didn’t take out, but now we’re fixing to have medical bills for services never rendered to us. Oh the “joys” of coexisting with Democrats and their voters.
Here’s the story, straight from the ugly horse’s mouth:

Now, my first big question is why aren’t these low-income people on the state health insurance plan? Is that because they’re… illegals? Here’s this, from an article at the Gothamist:
Shabnam Salih, the director of Murphy’s Health Care Affordability and Transparency Office, told Gothamist that eligible people would start receiving letters in the mail as early as Aug. 19. In New Jersey, about one in 10 people have medical debt that has been referred to collection agencies due to lack of payment as mounting bills become overwhelming, according to Salih. She said this number is ‘about double’ for Black and brown communities across the state.“Black and brown” as in the invaders from the sub-Sahara and lower-Americas? I suspect so.
Of course this isn’t to advocate for the expansion of a socialist program like Medicaid as I vehemently oppose other people receiving “free” healthcare from my labor and skills—we’re literally already paying other people’s medical bills—but to merely point out that something doesn’t quite add up. Furthermore, I can’t exactly figure out how the other $99.5 million is supposed to materialize; the Gothamist leaves it at this, with no additional detail:
The administration is utilizing $550,000 in federal funds to wipe out $100 million worth of medical debt.This really doesn’t add up.
How is Murphy accomplishing this clean slate? Debt between patient and facility is a contractual agreement between two-parties, sometimes three with insurance, so is he canceling contracts? Or, is he using taxpayer funds to pay off the outstanding debt?
My next question is, why does the bulk of this program (“$61.6 million”) apply to one provider, Prime Healthcare? Is that because founder and CEO Prem Reddy is a major donor to D.C.’s heavy-weights, on both sides of the aisle? (OpenSecrets had more than 500 records for him, totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars, if not more.) Names like Chuck Schumer, Kevin McCarthy, Hillary Clinton, Dianne Feinstein, John Kerry, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom, John McCain, etc. can all be found on the list—and just two months ago, Reddy “received the Joseph R. Biden Lifetime Achievement Award” from the White House. What is really going on?

How is this making an impact on the lives of the 50k people there letting of the hook? They haven’t paid their bills in years, and had no intention of paying it. So they’re still left with the same amount of money per month/year as before the debt was erased.

Prem Reddy was born in India, where he received his medical training. He is an MD (board-certified cardiologist). He emigrated to the US in 1976. Dr. Preddy is the owner of Prime Healthcare, a hospital chain that owns multiple facilities. He also either owns or is involved with other healthcare corporations. Prime Healthcare has been mixed up in some “financial and other types” of shenanigans. (Per Wikipedia)

One thing that has to be figured in is the ACTUAL cost of the Hospital and the BILLED cost.
Hospitals KNOW they will have to treat X number of ’emergencies’ who can not pay since they are not ALLOWED to turn these people away. (The level of care is the absolute minimum needed to ‘safe a life’ That is from an emergency room doctor.)
Because they know they have these deadbeats, just like retail stores, they will past the cost (shrinkage) along to the PAYING CUSTOMER. Therefore that $550,000 could very well wipe out the ACTUAL debt.
ALSO this type of uncollected debt is often sold to debt collectors after about a year to get it off their books. It is often sold at $0.10 on the dollar. This means when the collector comes pounding on your door you can often negotiate the amount down substantially.
It would be interesting to find out if this ‘Medical Debt’ is actually owed to a LARGE DEBT COLLECTOR…

Putting RFK Jr in any position inside the IC network is akin to giving Mary McCord and Andrew Weissman control of President Donald Trump’s teleprompter. The Intelligence Community would relish, absolutely relish the opportunity to work with RFK Jr as the CIA director.

As the story is being told, Donald “Fredo” Trump Jr, is now negotiating the terms and conditions for the RFK JR endorsement of his father, possibly later this week.
If Fredo’s commentary about putting RFK Jr in charge of the CIA is accurate, and given the fact Fredo is part of the official transition team, and given the fact that Fredo was a big impetus for the JD Vance selection, and given the fact that everyone in the close orbit of Donald Trump keeps saying that Fredo wants to make federal politics his life and career after Dad; well, you can see where this is going.
I support Donald Trump because there is no alternative – no other viable option. It’s the same reason I supported him in 2015 and every moment from then through now. I have never regretted my support of Donald Trump, ever, not for a moment.
However, that said, I do not support anything that undermines the likelihood of success.
I do not care if Alex Jones or anyone else is the advocate in support of this stupid idea.
There is no way that Robert F Kennedy Jr should have any significant role in the Trump administration outside of Health and Human Services Director or Food and Drug Commissioner…. and even that is a stretch considering that RFK JR might proclaim firearms as a national health crisis and institute regulations.

I agree with SD. RFKJ has made repeated mistakes with his campaign, IMO. The fact that Kennedy has a CIA handler in charge of his campaign is par for the course. I also think that SD is right – HHS or FDA or the like is the MAX for him, and even then, he will be played by the CIA, IMO.
Kennedy will become the Trusting Emperor of 1001 Limited Hangouts.

RFK, Jr. is a nut, true. But he is a highly intelligent, very idealistic, nut. He’s been on a crusade for a long time against Big Pharma. I think he has ALL the goods on how to bring that right down.
What kooky RFK, Jr, needs are the right hands on the reins, to give him proper guidance and discipline to accomplish his goal. Big Daddy Trump could do that, if he chooses to.
