…In order for all Arab leaders to sign on to the idea of rebelling against the Ottoman Sultan, there needed to be a viable leader that was Arab, for they certainly would not agree to rebel at the behest of Britain. Lord Kitchener, the Butcher of Sudan, was to be at the helm of this operation as Britain’s Minister of War. Kitchener’s choice for Arab leadership was the scion of the Hashemite dynasty, Hussein ibn Ali, known as the Sherif of Mecca who ruled the region of Hejaz under the ottoman Sultan. Charles Hardinge of the British India Office disagreed with this choice and wanted Wahhabite Abdul-Aziz ibn Saud instead. However, Lord Kitchener over-ruled this stating that their intelligence revealed that more Arabs would follow Hussein. [Notice the Brits double-crossed Hussein and eventually gave Arabia to the Saud’s instead. — GC]
Since the Young Turk Revolution which seized the Ottoman government in 1908, Hussein was very aware that his dynasty was in no way guaranteed and thus was open to Britain’s invitation to Crown him King of the Arab kingdom. Kitchener wrote to one of Hussein’s sons, Abdallah, as reassurance of Britain’s support: “If the Arab nation assist England in this war that has been forced upon us by Turkey, England will guarantee that no internal intervention take place in Arabia, and will give Arabs every assistance against Foreign aggression.” [653]
Sir Henry McMahon who was the British High Commissioner to Egypt, would have several correspondences [654] with Sherif Hussein between July 1915 to March 1916 to convince Hussein to lead the rebellion for the ‘independence’ of the Arab states.
However, in a private letter to India’s Viceroy Charles Hardinge, sent December 4th, 1915, McMahon expressed a rather different view of what the future of Arabia would be, contrary to what he had led Sherif Hussien to believe: “I do not take the idea of a future strong united independent Arab State… too seriously… the conditions of Arabia do not and will not for a very long time to come, lend themselves to such a thing”
Such a view meant that Arabia would be subject to Britain’s heavy handed ‘advising’ in all its affairs, whether it sought it or not. [This is why I think it is true the Brits kept control and blocked Arab industrialization. GC]
In the meantime, Sherif Hussein was receiving dispatches issued by the British Cairo Office to the effect that the Arabs of Palestine, Syria, and Mesopotamia (Iraq) would be given independence guaranteed by Britain, if they rose up against the Ottoman Empire.

Once the Arab Revolt was ‘won’ against the Ottoman Empire, instead of the promised Arab independence, the Middle East was carved up into zones of influence under British and French colonial rule. Puppet monarchies were created in regions that were considered not under direct colonial subjugation in order to continue the illusion that Arabs remained in charge of sacred regions such as Mecca and Medina.

The Roots of Islamic Terrorism
As we related in Part One, the British used Islam to legitimize their puppet rulers in Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Palestine after taking over the Middle East in World War I. Because of this Islam was seen by much of the Arab populace as just another part of the corrupt colonial establishment. That is why 👉the legitimate anti-colonial movements, such as those of Nasser, Mossadegh and Bhutto, were primarily secular in nature. When these nationalist movements began to succeed outside of the British sphere of influence the British turned to their Islamic allies to subvert these independent regimes.
👉The Muslim Brotherhood stands out as the most important counter-revolutionary movement of this period in the Middle East, 👉and one of the British-based Globalists’ most important strategic assets today.
The Muslim Brotherhood emerged out of Egypt in 1928 to evolve into “the largest and most influential Sunni revivalist organization in the 20th century.” It was founded by Hasan al-Banna, the first son of a respected sheik who was also an author and the leader of a local mosque. Hasan was born in 1906 and was brought up immersed in Islam under his father’s tutelage. He memorized the Koran and at age twelve he founded an organization called the Society For Moral Behavior….In Part One of this study 👉we related several allegations that the Muslim Brotherhood was created, infiltrated, or at least promoted by British Intelligence and/or British Freemasonry. Dr. John Coleman alleges that it was created by “the great names of British Middle East intelligence…”, Stephen Dorril writes that the Brotherhood was linked to British Intelligence through dame Freya Stark prior to World War II, and the Shah’s regime in Iran considered it to be a tool of British Freemasonry.
Some Muslims will find these claims hard to believe but they should not be rejected out of hand. Hasan al-Banna was a devout Muslim who put Islam first but it should not be considered inconceivable that he was influenced by Britain’s Masonic Brotherhood, or that he accepted British aid to advance his movement, at least in the early stages….There was of course an ulterior motive for Cromer making Abduh the most powerful figure in all of Islam. You see, in 1898 the ruling council of Al-Azhar University had reaffirmed that usury, and thus banking according to the Western model, was harem (illegal) according to Islamic Law. This was unacceptable to Lord Cromer because his given name happened to be Evelyn Baring – he was an important member of England’s prestigious Baring banking family that had grown rich off of the opium trade in India and China….
👉Lord Cromer installed his friend Sheikh Abduh to change the law forbidding banking, and once he was made Grand Mufti he used a very liberal and creative interpretation of the Quran to fabricate a loophole that allowed the forbidden practice of usury. British banks then had free reign to dominate Egypt. In Lord Cromer’s writings he says, “I suspect my friend Abduh was in reality an agnostic,” and he commented on Abduh’s Salafiyya movement saying, “They are the natural allies of the European reformer.” Even Cromer saw that the Islamist movement could be used to Britain’s advantage…

I asked a panel of three of the leading “experts” about the links between al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood, and I mentioned that the staff reports of the 9/11 Commission had noted that the purported mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, Khaled Sheikh Mohammed, had been captured, and had boasted that he had been recruited to the Muslim Brotherhood at the age of 16. The question drew blank stares from the self-professed al-Qaeda experts, and none chose to answer. In fairness, one of the three approached me afterwards, to say that he did know something about the Brotherhood ties to al-Qaeda, but he felt that the audience, made up of senior Congressional staffers and think-tank policy wonks, was incapable of understanding the complicated answer he would have had to give.
The incident offers a telling snapshot of the state of affairs among so-called terrorism experts, many of whom boast of degrees in sociology, psychology, and computer science. Few have a grasp of history, and even fewer attempt to draw the lessons of history in peddling their dubious expertise. When I recounted the incident at the terrorism symposium to several retired military and intelligence officers who do have credentials as Middle East specialists, they shook their heads in pained acknowledgement of the problem.
Fortunately, author Robert Dreyfuss has provided a timely work that offers some relief to this major deficiency in our so-called Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) in particular, and American diplomacy and intelligence operations in general.

Although the Muslim Brotherhood was formally launched in Egypt in 1928, the roots of the British-sponsored Freemasonic secret society date further back two generations, to the last quarter of the 19th Century. At that time, British intelligence sponsored the career of a Persian-born Shi’ite named Jamal Eddine, later known as Jamal Eddine al-Afghani (1838-97). In the finest “Venetian” tradition, al-Afghani promoted a doctrine of “economy of truth”—i.e., truth as an instrument of imperial intrigues. He adopted the name “al-Afghani” to conceal his Persian birth and his Shi’ite Muslim roots, to better serve his British handlers in the largely Sunni regions where he operated. He also spoke cynically of “the social utility of religion.”
Al-Afghani was backed by one of Britain’s leading Orientalists, Edward Granville Browne, and whenever he ran out of cash, he made a bee-line for London, where he was always provided with funding, a publishing house, and other amenities.
Al-Afghani’s leading disciple and fellow British agent was Mohammed Abduh (1849-1905). The Egyptian-born Abduh 👉founded the Salafiyya movement, under the patronage of the British proconsul of Egypt, Evelyn Baring (Lord Cromer).👈 In the 1870s, al-Afghani and Abduh founded the Young Egypt movement, which battled against secular Egyptian nationalists. In the mid-1880s, the two men moved to Paris, where they launched a magazine under British and French Freemasonic sponsorship, called Indissoluble Bond. There are some accounts of al-Afghani’s and Abduh’s three years in Paris that suggest that they were in direct contact with St. Yves d’Alveydre, the founder of the Synarchist movement. From Paris, the duo returned to London.
In 1899, two years after al-Afghani died, Lord Cromer made Abduh the Grand Mufti of Egypt. Abduh in turn, begat Mohammed Rashid Rida (1865-1935), a Syrian who migrated to Egypt to become Abduh’s leading disciple. Rida founded the organization that would be the immediate precursor to the Muslim Brotherhood, the Society of Propaganda and Guidance. That Freemasonic organization published a journal, The Lighthouse, which provided “Islamist” backing to the British colonial rule over Egypt, by attacking Egyptian nationalists as “atheists and infidels.” In Cairo, under British patronage, Rida launched the Institute of Propaganda and Guidance, which brought in Islamists from every part of the Muslim world to be trained in political agitation. Rida and other disciples of Abduh founded the People’s Party, which openly agitated in support of British colonial rule.
One graduate of the Institute for Propaganda and Guidance, who also was a central figure in the People’s Party was Hassan al-Banna (1906-49). Al-Banna would found the Muslim Brotherhood in 1928.

Might be bone-conduction. Coupling the vibrations from the sound to the bone of the skull causes the cochleas to detect them as sound, just as if they were excited in the usual way via the external and middle ear. Most of the time the transmitting device is placed against the skin right behind the ear.
This is useful for hearing aids when the cochlea is OK but the middle ear has damage, and it is used with audiometers for testing for this.

I don’t think all muzzies are evil, based on my own experience with an obviously small sample size of one. A friend of mine in college was a muslim from Turkey. He spent lots of time with our group of friends, and by our junior year, he lived in the same off campus house with 4 or 5 of my friends.
This was long before 9/11, so I knew nothing about islam. It was just another belief system. I had the naive impression that all religions were good in their own way, I thought the whole point of being religious was to live up to some higher moral standard.
We didn’t learn anything about islam in school. It wasn’t relevant to my existence.
My introduction to islam was September 11, 2001. Suicide hijackers murdering over 3,000 innocent Americans makes for a lasting first impression. It wasn’t until 9/11 and the aftermath, that I was compelled to look directly at islam, and realized what a horrific, barbaric and evil belief system it really is. And how evil the people who fully embrace it really are.
While Shrub (GHWB) claimed insanely that islam was a ‘religion of peace’. What a total lying mass mind-rape that was. He took a nation of 300 million people, in shock from the equivalent of the Pearl Harbor attack, and re-victimized them, straight up lying to the whole country, giving aid and comfort to the enemy.
I don’t doubt that many, maybe the majority of muslims, are good people, in the general sense or common meaning of good.
The problem is that if their belief system is actually and faithfully followed, great evil (not to mention violation of every kind of God-given rights) is a guaranteed result.
Rape and murder and enslavement are inherent aspects of islam, and you can’t do good to someone by raping or murdering or enslaving them. You just can’t. That should be self-evident, and it’s a sad commentary on humanity that for so many, it isn’t.
It is the belief system itself which is evil, and teaches evil toward others. So those who faithfully follow the teachings of islam will necessarily be engaged in evil.
But there must be lots of people who are only muslim because they were born into muslim families, raised in the belief system, everyone they know is muslim, and it has never occurred to them not to be muslim, because it’s the cultural reality in which they exist.
And because rejecting islam could get them ostracized by everyone they know, or worse.

Good early morning friends! As I thought last night. Trump was great in the debate. Even ABC’s own poll showed Trump won big. CNN’s group of watchers torched Kamala.
There are only two issues in this election. Inflation/economy Border/crime Trump kept hammering Kamala on those two issues and she had no answer, just insults.

The two issues they care about: (inflation/border) Trump hammered her all night on those issues. She had no answer and wouldn’t finish the wall.
Then when he closed, asking why she hasn’t done anything for four years to fix the problems that they created, the game was over. And now, both ABC and Kamala are being fact checked all over X for their lies and they can’t censor it. I think it was a perfect night.
Add the strategy of Trump not ever looking at her to his brilliance. He didn’t acknowledge her at all because she isn’t worthy of respect.
She wanted to get into a mudslinging contest to try and win some women undecideds and completely failed.
He took the personal insults knowing that he is Teflon Don and didn’t take the bate to sling personal insults.

Back when I used to work at the grocery store, there was this oriental kid working at the Asian food section. It wasn’t part of HEB, they were contracted. Kid used to have to work 12 hour plus days, with no week ends and lived with other types like him in a boarding house. I’d see him on smoke breaks. Hard to understand as his English wasn’t much at all. HEB no longer has that section in the store. My guess is they found out what was behind it, but it was there for an awfully long time, several years before I started to work there and several years while I worked there.

She took away something that Trump and his coaches must have assumed was a given. Everything she says is still a string of lies – but make no mistake the new Kamala has emerged. She was able to get on television and coldly regurgitate carefully rehearsed material in a cogent manner. She sounded in control and DIFFERENT, so they’re all stoked. It went so well they gave Swift the OK to pull the plug. She can now hide, do occasional scripted appearances, try to taunt Trump into another debate and run out the clock.

Statement on the debate last night:
I haven’t changed my mind in the slightest. Donald Trump won the debate. There is no question.
Before anybody calls me delusional or desperate, know a few things…
I have been openly critical the past few years about my opinions about the Trump Campaign’s missteps and missed opportunities in this election cycle. I am in no way a Trump cultist. I’ve even said many times that his performance in the last debate with Biden was not stellar, and it’s only the fact that Biden was a total disaster that distracted from the fact that Trump could and should have been more potent at that debate.
Reading and watching commentary from conservatives about last night makes one thing perfectly clear: the majority of conservatives foolishly believed that Kamala wouldn’t prepare for the debate. Why? Sorry to be so blunt- but if you honestly believed she was going to show up last night and just cackle and make no sense, shame on you for being so gullible.
Everybody has been asking for months, “why isn’t she doing any media?”, “why isn’t she answering questions?”. It seems crystal clear- she’s been spending weeks and weeks being coached and prepped for her moment last night.
Is she qualified to become president? No.
Is she smart enough for the job? No.
Is she prepared & knowledgable enough to do this? No.
But the woman is not a shiftless moron. She went to law school, she passed the bar, she became a lawyer.
We know for a fact that she’s coachable and capable of memorizing lines. That’s what she’s spent the last 2 months doing.
But what astonishes me most is that conservatives are acting like she came out last night like Winston Churchill and brought the house down with a policy recitation that will live in infamy.
No such thing happened.
She dodged questions. When asked about one of the most important issue to most voters: border security, she deflected entirely- her entire answer was about Trump’s bogus indictments and innuendos about sexual assaults- and of course… Charlottesville and January 6th.
She had no substance, no depth. Her finest moments were in fact… weak. Thin. Flimsy. Well memorized, but absolutely vacuous tropes that did absolutely nothing to illuminate how exactly Kamala Harris is going to make our lives and our country better in 4 years than they are today.
On to Trump.
I never worry about Trump’s reactions. I know this is a great source of anxiety for many conservatives- but I don’t understand why. This belief that he’s going to come unglued because somebody gets under his skin seems to be based on nothing at all that I can see. This isn’t to say that I always believe he says the right thing or reacts the way I wish he would. But I can honestly say I have never once in 8 years been watching through my fingers as he’s coming unhinged before my eyes. That simply has never happened, and I don’t worry that it ever will.
What I worry about with Trump in debate scenarios is his energy- which has been inconsistent in the past. Sometimes we’ve gotten the quick paced, lightning fast guy who sets the room on fire. Other times we’ve gotten the soft spoken Trump whose relaxed demeanor lacks the power and punch that’s needed in the moment.
He’s not up against a walking corpse anymore. Last night I needed him to bring his best energy and his most solid focus… and he DID.
All I’m reading today are comments about how she won because she got under his skin. Preposterous. It was literally the opposite. Last night I watched a guy who took on three opponents at the same time, and handled it with sharp precision and skillful messaging and wit.
On the other hand, it was Kamala who I watched repeatedly become emotional, unnerved, defensive, insecure, and reactionary. Her face oscillated between looking pained and tense to looking lost, helpless, and confused.
So many conservatives were rolling over in defeat starting last night that I began to wonder if I had missed something. So I watched the debate again.
No. I didn’t miss anything.
Last night two candidates took the stage to make their case to the American people about why they should be our next Commander in Chief.
Donald Trump identified the problems and the existential threats facing our nation today, and spoke from a place of wisdom and experience, laying out clear and comprehensive plans for what needs to be done to right the ship of America that has been steered so far off course. He was strong, confident, and poised.
Kamala Harris spent the night deflecting, hypocritically telling us again and again that it was time to “turn the page” and “move on” while she spent the entire night referencing thoroughly debunked lies about Charlottesville, J6, bloodbaths, and even the Central Park 5- taking us back 5 to 40+ years all night long, avoiding accountability for her failed vice presidency by reiterating leftist hoax after leftist hoax.
Kamala Harris did not win this debate. Apparently, she surprised a significant number of people by proving that she’s capable of memorizing enough superficial talking points to ride out an hour of television programming.
This election will ultimately be decided by convincing enough undecided people which of the two choices they had last night was better for the country.
It will not be decided by MAGA loyalists or post-debate panicked conservatives, and it won’t be decided by Trump hating leftists or the crowds of people being bussed in to Kamala’s rallies. It will be decided by the people who know that their lives are fundamentally worse today than they were 5 years ago, and who know that last night they were shown a picture of two candidates: one strong, experienced, and ready to give them back the life they had 5 years ago; and one who divides, lies, fear mongers, and deceives.
Again, if you tuned in last night expecting to see Kamala Harris show up as a bumbling unprepared idiot, that’s on you. Clearly you haven’t been paying attention to the fact that the Democrats will do anything necessary to keep power. That includes coaching and practicing with Harris until she comes across as passable.
And that’s all she was last night: passable. Not great. Not exceptional. Not even newsworthy. She was just adequate and nothing more.
So I maintain: Donald Trump won the debate. Hands down.
This is the best assessment I’ve read of last night’s debate, and I just went to Twitter and told Brandon so.
I think Trump was…. measured … to give Suxalotacox confidence and instill willingness to do a 2nd debate. This time it will NOT be [as] RIGGED.

Mrs. Dr. Publius did not watch the debate. I was just explaining it to her and mentioned how Trump got angry. What she had to say was very insightful:
“Of course he got angry. That’s what the media does not get. When they attack Trump and act so unfairly, it angers Americans because they are really attacking US with their lies. When Trump gets angry at them, he is getting angry on behalf of all of us. The media doesn’t see it, and they don’t understand how they create more support for Trump, not less.”
OK, obviously the 3-on-1 approach backed Trump into a corner, it made him righteously angry (as we all were) and most MAGAs are upset at how this made him look bad while they propped up Harris.
But please consider these questions:
1. For families who are economically struggling, who do you believe those struggling families now believe will speak for them? Trump or Harris?
2. Who will find Harris’ smug, eye-rolling, nasty girl act appealing (other than green-haired childless cat ladies on SSRIs who already will vote Harris)? Don’t underestimate what a turn-off her mannerism were.
3. America loves an underdog. Who did ABC’s over-the-top propaganda make look like an underdog?
4. Who talked about policies to fix America’s problems and who was the nasty sorority girl who snarkily mocked somebody she didn’t like?
I don’t think either candidate “won.” I do think, however, that over time the take-aways from this debate will be (1) the media lies and Trump was righteously angry and (2) Harris is a character from that movie “Heathers.”

Remember the really attractive, snarky, mean cheerleader girl whose Daddy bought her a brand-new Camaro for her 16th birthday?
Remember how that girl wielded her sexuality as a weapon?
Remember how that girl was incredibly cruel to the fat kids, the ugly kids, the kids in the chess club, the kids whose parents could not buy them expensive clothes, the kids with acne, etc., and any other kid that she and her nasty clique of mean girl friends decided would be their target?
Remember the mannerisms and facial expressions that mean nasty girl used to use when she mocked her targets?
Those were the EXACT SAME mannerisms and facial expressions that Kamala Harris employed last night.
Kamala Harris IS that nasty mean girl.
We all remember high school. The biggest takeaway from last night is that Harris turned-off every voter who ever got mocked in high school by the head cheerleader or captain of the football team, which is probably about 80% of America.
ABC made a mistake by showing a split screen. They thought they had it all figured out, but the split screen was their undoing.

The Candy Crowley Debate
What do we remember, if anything now, about the second presidential debate of 2012?
Not whether Obama or Romney won.
But only how CNN’s Candy Crowley blew up her career and embarrassed CNN—by outrageously hijacking the debate, and as a partisan, fact-checking (and erroneously so) Romney in efforts to help Obama.
So, too, we won’t remember much of these debate details, given the shameful role of the two ABC moderators.
Harris came out calm, exceeded low expectations, repeated well her memorized talking points, avoided until the last 20 minutes her trademark word-salads, and repeatedly baited and incited an increasingly angrier Trump.
Harris called for unity, while smearing him as a racist and repeating the old lies about Charlottesville, “bloodbath,” the 2025 project, and Trump’s supposed support for a federal ban on abortion.
Trump might seem to have matched or beaten Harris if one only reads a transcript of the entire debate—given she never honestly would or could reconcile her past and antithetical present positions.
Nor could Harris explain why she simply did not implement her visions either the last three years or would do so in the next five months.
An irritated Trump started well and ended well; she in-between calmly and successfully at times baited and got Trump’s goat.
But all that will neither matter nor be recalled.
The debate will instead be remembered as a three-on-one pile-on, given the unprofessional and biased team of ABC moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis. Rather than refuting pre-debate fears that their past anti-Trump biases would warp the debate, they only confirmed them.
Both disrupted the tempo to fact check (sometimes in error), and to editorialize Trump’s statements, while letting Harris’s Charlottesville, IVF, national abortion ban, “bloodbath” or 2025 lies go unchecked.
Often their disruptive fact checks of Trump were simply wrong, such as their preposterous claim that no states allow partial birth or late abortions where the viable baby is terminated—when at least six states put no limitations on any abortions.
The questions addressed to Trump on January 6 were designed to provoke. They had no counterpart addressed to Harris—as for example, would she distance herself from Biden, or how she came to win the nomination without winning any elected delegates, or her last person in the room on Afghanistan boast, or if she wished to retract any of her inflammatory past statements, such as bragging that the deadly 2020 demonstrations would not and should not stop, or her tweets to help bail out violent 2020 rioters, or her lie that the border patrol whipped immigrants in the manner reminiscent of slavery and the Klan, or her boast that she was a radical and woke.
Instead, Muir and Davis only asked Trump about supposedly controversial past statements.
Harris was never reprimanded for trying to speak over Trump. Trump was reminded to address the question asked; not so Harris who rarely did.
Watching the entire debate may have aided Harris, given her low expectations. Yet the better sound bites in the next week may help Trump. But the moderators’ shameless bias may swing empathy toward Trump.
So, the real story was how ABC’s moderators ruined the debate, their own reputations, and their network’s brand.

I’m a bit tired of the piling on Trump. Some of you try to do better when you have the very moderators, who control the entire tempo and tone of the debate, personally attacking Trump and eulogizing Kamala. Besides, this is not a game.
Trump didn’t lose the debate because it wasn’t a debate. All Kamala had to do was recite memorized, canned paragraphs — all containing lies — and trigger Trump, also with egregious, easily provable lies.
Yes, Trump too often took the bait, but the real problem was that the “when did you stop beating your wife questions” put him so on the defensive that even first rate debate prep couldn’t completely insulate him. I wish he’d done better; I wish he hadn’t even dignified the crowd size provocation and others, but he did.
I think what people on our side are most irritated about is that they assumed Kamala would implode because finally she would appear unaided by notes, etc. But she wasn’t unaided. She was completely abetted by the corrupt moderators.
People are also frustrated because they believe that the only way to beat Kamala is to expose the full public to the reality of her horrible record, horrible character, and horrible agenda. She has successfully stayed in the basement to this point and they were counting on last night being her coming out party and they blame Trump for not exposing her — making sure she came out so the public that is ordinarily shielded from anything but the Legacy Media propaganda could finally see what she’s about.
Trump did expose her on several important points, but it’s also very difficult to expose her effectively when everything she says about him and herself are lies — especially when the moderators, who had called Trump non-lies, lies, and never challenged Kamala on her multitudinous actual lies.
So I believe many on our side are frustrated that she wasn’t sufficiently exposed and so this was a missed opportunity of the first order of magnitude. Yes, but all I’m asking you to consider is how difficult the position Trump was in, even irrespective of his taking the bait.
The reason people shouldn’t be too exercised and be so personally irritated with Trump is that I believe that ironically, she now will be exposed and that’s what really matters. It’s not about who wins a debate; it’s about exposing Kamala’s horrifying record and policies to the disinfecting light of day.
I am somewhat comforted by the fact that because ABC overplayed its hand and was so obvious in its corruption and bias that the public saw it, but more importantly, that this will lead to a deluge of coverage about their bias, which will necessarily lead to the exposure of Kamala’s policies.
Consider also that Kamala is cocky and now wants another debate — maybe even cocky enough to allow a fair one, though I’m not sanguine about that. Either way, Trump will do way better next time (and Kamala will do worse) for reasons I won’t address here because I’ve already gone on too long.
Also, I am convinced that JD Vance will do something very important in his debate, even though supposedly fewer people will watch. I bet it’s a bigger audience than we might expect. I’m not saying JD will win the debate, though I think he will. I’m saying that he’ll smoke Kamala and Tim out and this too will lead to even more coverage of who they are during and following that debate.
I reiterate: this is not about who wins a debate; it’s about informing cloistered voters about the radicalism of this dangerous Democrat ticket. It’s hard to believe we are having to deal with this in 21st Century America but we are because we are dealing with authoritarian enemies of speech and friends of tyranny in the Legacy Media.
But I am convinced America is not so far gone that a healthy majority of people, once exposed to the Harris horrors for what they are, will resoundingly vote for Trump. And I am convinced that is going to happen because of the reasons I’ve cited and others.
I also believe that some people’s disappointment with Trump’s performance are overlooking that the debate won’t just be viewed as some kind of war where the apparent victor takes the spoils.
People will have seen what kind of smarmy insincere attack dog Harris is and the abject unfairness of her collusion with the moderators. Trump got in enough lines to alert people to how bad her policies are and how badly she’s concealing and lying about them. Again, there will be follow-up on all this.
Yes, I might be unrealistic and Pollyannaish in this analysis. I’ll even admit that I probably am. But we need some balance on this because the piling on Trump is unduly distorting our overall perception.
Most of this is food for thought and not some well thought-out thesis, but I hope you’ll see that there is reason to be way less fatalistic about last night and what it means for November and far more reason to be optimistic than some of us are allowing. Feel free to sling arrows my way now.

I get the same reaction. Since I’m allergic, I suspect that my personal form of histamine is chemically similar to catnip. I’ve had a cat enter a room with 15 people in it, many of whom they know well, and make a beeline right over to my lap.
