I fully support the First Amendment with the following caveat: signs should be regulated if they could impact vehicle traffic, for example. Digital signs [essentially huge TVs] can be very distracting, and thus dangerous. Here in the Puget Sound area of WA state, I-5 runs right through several Indian reservations [where fed law does not apply] and I find myself distracted despite my awareness of the issue. I have to consciously move my gaze away if I forget to be ready for them as I’m driving.

Reminds me of a used car I bought. It had an aftermarket stereo in it that was in demo mode. Which meant the display was showing constantly-moving stuff; drove me nuts because it was so distracting. I had to go online to find the manual for the thing before I could figure out how to shut the dancing monkeys off. (I hated it for other reasons…minuscule buttons which are a bad idea on a bumpy road (we have no smooth roads in Colorado); imagine reaching to switch sources, hitting a tar strip, and instead hitting the fade control and having some weird preset wipe out your careful adjustments. When your arm is outstretched any little bump on the road can move your finger half a centimeter which is all it takes. Why there’s no such thing as a decent-output car stereo with minimal features and large buttons…)
this is why i love my Jeep–she’s old but capable and there’s no electronic dodads to claim my attention.
I went to the dealership last year to buy my little used car. While I was there, I wandered around the showroom.
A salesman told me to get in this one big one. I did, and the WHOLE CEILING of the car was a digital display of a mountain and sky scene. The whole dashboard was also a digital photo. He told me you can choose your pictures, and even have a rotating selection!
Who the hell is driving the car while they are looking at this stuff?!

Lithium-Ion Batteries Blamed for Hurricane Helene Fires
“Florida State Fire Marshal Jimmy Patronis on Tuesday said there have been 16 fires during and after Hurricane Helene attributed to lithium-ion batteries used in Tesla and other electric vehicles, golf carts and other vehicles and devices.”
I use lithium batteries to do my yard – mower, trimmer/edger, blower. I treat them as carefully as the nuclear football. I do not leave them out in the garage, and plan to take them to the city hazardous recycling center when/if they ever fail. These yard tools and batteries are now 6 years old and still going. However, I’m an old biddie with a small yard – not using the tools for large yard or commercial work.

Bernini’s Baldacchino.
There is no end of the funny little bits about it — it was commissioned by Pope Urban VIII, who was originally Maffeo Barberini of the Barberini family, whose heraldric symbols are bees, laurel leaves, and the radiant sun. Accordingly, these appear throughout.
But, then, there are some elements that are profound.
The first one, I’m going to steal the writeup from Wikipoo — “In a Latin cross church, the high altar should be placed in the chancel at the end of the longitudinal axis and yet in St. Peter’s it was located in the centre of the crossing. Bernini sought a solution whereby the high altar above the tomb of the first Pope of the Catholic Church could be reconciled with tradition. With his design for the Cathedra Petri or Chair of Saint Peter (1657–66) at the apsidal end of the chancel, Bernini completed his visual concetto or design idea; the congregation had a perspectivised view down the nave to the image framed by the baldachin which compressed the distance between the crossing and the Chair of Saint Peter in the chancel, reconciling the Prince of the Apostles’ tomb, his implied presence on the chair and his legitimate successor officiating at the ceremonies.”
The second is not readily apparent at first. The four columns sit on rectangular marble bases, or plinths — on the outward faces of which (from Wikipoo), “Each shield is enclosed by a woman’s head at the top and by the head of a satyr at the bottom. A papal tiara with crossed keys surmounts the shield. All shields look nearly identical, but – if examined one after another starting with the left-hand front plinth – they reveal dramatic changes in the expression on the female face. The coat of arms itself, flat on the first plinth, undergoes a noticeable deformation, progressively bulging up to the sixth shield and flattening again on the last two shields. Above the eighth shield, the female face is replaced by the head of a winged child or putto. The allegory behind the coats of arms is universally interpreted as representing the various stages of childbirth.”
This is as raw as it gets — in the 1600’s, this is the gateway to life….in the church of Life Eternal.
Third, there is simply what it is. the Baldacchino is roughly 100 feet high, reaching upwards in a space about 380 feet to the top of the dome. It projects the aspirations of those of us who walk on the earth into the greater universe. Imagine the interior of the church without Bernini’s masterpiece…..what a crushing place it would be.
The baldachin, or ciborium, is a ceremonial tent, originally temporary. Typically, these were used for visiting priests or altars. Often fine silks were used.
Bernini’s masterwork borrows this form, but is crafted of bronze — which is immensely heavy.
A ciborium is actually a vessel for storing the Eucharist. The ceremonial tent is symbolic of the Jewish wedding canopy. There’s a specific name for it. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the wedding of Christ to His bride, so that’s the need for the baldacchino. In many churches, the apse is not as elevated as the nave and that serves the purpose.

Yes I am OK. Just very very tired. We put up a lot of new temp fencing so we could squash all the ponies into a small area. The rest of the cleared land just got planted in Abrussi Rye for winter grazing.
Boy was that an undertaking!
#1.Move all the critters to new quarters (Worm first and place in stalls for 48 hours)
#2. Take down wire gates or in one area, take down all the wire so the paddocks can be disked across the hill instead of down the hill.
#3. MOW the grass that was left… (Then wait two weeks for the rain to stop and have to mow again..)
#4. Disk the pastures since I do not have a seed drill.
#5. Buy the Rye seed…. OOPS the grower could not find help this year so the SMALLEST size was a one ton bag…
#6. Start spreading the seed and have the lawn tractor croaked. The spare died a couple weeks before that.
However I am lucky and have wonderful neighbors who have helped. I just finished spreading using a borrowed Honda ATV… NOT the best tool for the job but better than hand spreading. Hopefully Hubby can get one of the lawn tractors working in the morning. We just bought new batteries for them.
We also bought out the pelleted hay at the two nearby Tractor Supplies. Now I have to unload those bags buy at least they are in the horse trailer so I have a couple days before we need the trailer.
I40 is washed out so supplies may be spotty for a while. Therefore I am stocking up.
Oh, my word. I am so glad you are ok. The life of a farmer is no easy thing!

As it applies to property ownership, please consider the following. The vast majority of Americans who are outside of mapped 100 year flood zones, do not purchases flood insurance. It is expensive and if the odds are low for a flood, they do not buy it. We are now reconsidering that same decision even with our home outside the flood zone. Should the local dam breach, the floodwaters could flood our home as we are located near a flood zone along a creek bed that eventually feeds into the French Broad River about 5 miles east of us. Should the dam breach it will add huge volumes of water to the local area that flows from the local mountains into the creek bed, It will have no place to go.
This is a paradigm shift, one that every American should consider. For most folks, their homes are their most valued and largest investment. So ask yourself the question, what happens if your home is destroyed without insurance to compensate you for the loss? The same question needs to be asked for potential wildfire areas, tornadoes, earthquakes, riots, etc. Know the content of your policy and what you can do to improve it as necessary.
People, events and conditions such as these are the major focus of what I have been bringing with my BIMD and American Stories posts as has Gail, PAVACA, Wolf, DePat, Aubergine and others. Things have not been as they have been presented and sold to the public for a very long time. We the People have been under attack and being used for the benefit of evil doers the entire time.

Seeded Hurricanes is just one aspect or method to this. Satellite and ground based equipment are also other likely controls being utilized and no one scenario need be inclusive of the other in any stage of the hurricane deployment and could be used in conjunction with.

Yours Truly is persuaded that both Hurricane Helene and this new Hurricane Milton have been “geo-engineered” to “influence” wind speed, direction of storm, etc. IMO, it is of note that even the lying MSM reported that Milton “suddenly” had terrific increases of wind speed, turning it rapidly into a Cat5 storm. This is irrespective of the storm coming into Florida over warm Gulf of Mexico waters.
Flood insurance, at one time, was somewhat cheaper to purchase if the residence was far enough away from an “official flood zone.” Yours Truly, with damage to her house from several of the recent violent storms in NC (underground drains failed, gutters failed, tree damage, etc.), is also thinking about getting flood insurance.
Of course we’ll need more posts like yours as we are still in the awakening stage, far behind some who live and breathe this stuff and yet far ahead of the masses, many of whom still can’t figure out MAGA and Trump and others that have been conditioned for quite a long time to view this stuff as conspiracy and wish to remain safe from labels. So this morning the cloud cover broke for a few minutes and looking up there’s a lot of cemtrails. This would be ahead (NE) of Milton, the wind being drawn to the storm from here.
Had a thought today. Would, they use the aircraft that do the hurricane recon to seed them also? What a perfect cover, no one would know.
I agree about insurance, being under attack, and being prepared. One preparation tip I’ve seen is to have all your essential papers concerning your house and property, insurance, etc., in waterproof plastic bags. I don’t know how practical that would be if you were stranded on the roof of your home, but if you had a strap-on bug-out bag with those things inside, it might work.
I am asking questions. What I object to is leaping to conclusions without data.
People often make the assumption that if you ask questions, you are arguing for a particular side. That is not the case. I’m saying that IMO we need to be finding the answers to many questions instead of being complacent as sitting ducks. It’s the lack of questioning that I’m amazed at. I don’t know whether it is believed that severe weather events can be manufactured at will, or whether the weather events have to already be in the process of forming, at which time they can be manipulated.
If *they* had the power, they could have waited to make Helene and/or Milton strike during the week before the election. Then there would have been no chance of recovery before election day. Chaos would have reigned over the election in several states. (They could also have wiped out Mar-a-Lago many times over by now with either hurricanes or tonadoes. They could have sabotaged the first Trump administration in many ways. They could have done untold damage to Trump, his family, and his properties during the past four years. They could have created severe weather while he was in flight.)
Maybe they have some other weather event planned for election week. But if they have to work with existing weather systems (rather than creating them), then they are more limited in the scope of what they can do. We need to know if this is the case.
I hope that the increasing reports and speculation about weather manipulation will yield facts and real, usable data.
Both TradeBait’s linked article and the Wiki article that I linked refer to the first tropical cyclone to be modified. So there have been others, and there is a history. The reason for the early seedings appears to have been to weaken the storms. Storms had to meet certain criteria to be candidates. The experiments appear to have been ineffective (NOT because they caused weather problems or strengthened the storms), although data was gleaned.
In before someone says we’ve come a long way since then and we can now seed Category 5 hurricanes, steering them, making them more intense, and causing severe flooding (without evidence). 😊

Concur. The record on this stuff appears spotty and conspiratorial but that is the intent of the people who don’t want the public to know about it. For good reason too. Imagine a Hurricane that was supposed to strike the US mainland but instead was deflected to strike Mexico. Prove that your country, state or town was struck by an Act of Man as opposed to the Act of God, then all hell is to pay. This is the kind of information that is not allowed to gain traction.
High level, State controlled and compartmentalized Actors are the ones who developed these capabilities. Just like skinning a cat there are many different methods to this stuff. No one way runs true and the way likely also changes in midstream making it harder to prove what are already State level secrets.
The information is all out there but requires a concerted effort to plot it and understand it something on the level of understanding how the China Virus was a weapon and figuring out how it was being used and by whom.

Another thing of note with us – my sister who lives in southern Michigan has contracted COVID for the 4th time. She lost her mind when her husband’s sister died in the hospital from the 2020 Wuhan. Her previously healthy, non-jabbed SIL actually died because the family all insisted she go when her oxygen dropped into the high 80s. The hospital sent her to ICU, put her on a vent and administered Remdesivir. She died in 5 days. She would have probably still been alive to enjoy her grandchildren today had she ignored the medical profession and her family’s advice.
My emotional sister ordered wifey and I to get jabbed. You never order wifey to do anything and as her older brother, it was not wise to do so with me. She and her husband got the jabs. It caused a strain on the relationship between us. They chose to no longer visit us and contact with each other has lessened. Per fakebook postings they both now look 10-15 years older than they should for their ages and are younger than us.
There is a better ending to this, stick with me.
Sis asked in a recent email how we have done with COVID. She said she stopped taking the jabs after the first booster. I replied – no jabs, had COVID every two years, mild cases, treat it with IVM and vitamins/supplements. I told her I knock it out with IVM quickly and use IVM anytime I feel even a cold coming on. As a result I have not had a non-COVID cold, flu, etc. in 3 years. She asked where I got the IVM. I bought the last batch from Dr. McCullough’s Wellness Company and received it in a week. She ordered it that night, received it in a week, is now recovering from COVID quickly, and is back to work after being bedridden for several days. In that previous email I also referenced Aubergine’s recommendation of Nattokinase (McCullough recommends now) plus other supplements that have worked for me per blood lab tests. She ordered those as well.

I guess I’m lucky in one way that I have emphysema/COPD. Several times a day I have blood oxy levels in the high 80s. I simply put on my supplemental oxygen rig for a few minutes and my percentage is 96-98 and I’m good to go for about a half an hour or so.
It’s pretty obvious to me that the hospital killed her. Talk to an attorney.
I agree. When I told them about it they shut me down. Did not want to believe the medical industry could be stone cold killers.
Like you, my wife’s sister did the same thing with the oxygen. She died from other causes, but the oxygen worked and extended her life 10 years. I mentioned they should try that first before the woman went to the hospital. They replied that the woman’s daughter was an RN and pushing her to go. Coincidently, her father was in the same ICU with COVID although he had other serious medical conditions and was not going to be long in this world. The couple died within 24 hours of each other. A double funeral was held a few days later.
Fast forward a few years. Guess who received her parent’s inheritance? Guess who has nothing to do with most of her family anymore? Guess who immediately upon receipt of the money got a boob job, new car, new home, etc.? Yup.
My condolences. Almost unbelievable. 😥

I’m hearing reports from a source on the ground who is working with me to get exclusive photo and video content of search and recovery efforts on the ground in North Carolina that a PVC manufacturing plant called Silver-Line Plastics Corporation was severely damaged by the flooding from Hurricane Helene, and all of its inventory was dispersed by the flooding.
We discovered this by doing our own recon work with a drone I just purchased to be used by my source who is a multi-tour infantry SOCOM veteran the sake of getting footage of the storm disaster and locating bodies.
This means that TONS of PVC pipe may have been littered and dispersed across the environment.
On their website, Silver Line Plastics says they produce PVC pipes on site.
”Silver-Line® Plastics is an American owned and operated manufacturer of the industry’s highest quality plastic pipe, with a comprehensive product offering, featuring PVC, CPVC, PE and PEX, with state-of-the-art production facilities in Asheville, North Carolina; Lawton, Oklahoma; and Fort Pierce, Florida.”
It needs to be asked, was VINYL CHLORIDE stored inside the plant in Asheville, and was it swept away and leaked out into the water and environment during the storm?
Vinyl Chloride is the same toxic chemical that was spilled in the East Palestine, Ohio train derailment. And this could possibly be bigger. Vinyl chloride is a toxic, flammable gas and a known human carcinogen. It’s used to make PVC, a plastic used in many products, including pipes, shower curtains, and vinyl siding. Exposure to vinyl chloride can increase the risk of: Liver cancer, Brain cancer, Lung cancer, Lymphoma, and Leukemia.
This needs to be investigated ASAP. My source on the ground tells me that first responders and locals are reporting that the their work boots and personal protective equipment (PPE) are being destroyed with prolonged contact with the water and mud in Asheville.
Nobody is reporting this. My source is working on acquiring testing kits so that they can test the water to determine whether or not a serious ecological disaster is brewing in Asheville.
Is this why the government doesn’t want independent civilian volunteer responders in the area? Are they possibly covering up an ecological disaster that could be happening as a result of the flooding?

A real life story to show an example of certain products failing with contact to chemicals.
I had a style of crocs flip flops that I liked but the thong part kept breaking in half (not at the toe section but in the middle of the vee section, a no stress part). I’d get new ones and the same thing kept happening.
I finally realized that the part that always broke was where I’d spray my feet with mosquito spray. I quit spraying my legs/feet with them on and never had another break.
No telling what it’s doing to me but it broke the plastic or rubber down.

Shut down the entitlement state & you solve most of the immigration problem right there. We need to man up & fix the root cause that draws migrants here in the first place: the welfare state. But no one seems to want to say that part out loud, because too many native-born Americans are addicted to it themselves.
Don’t disagree with any of that at all but it’s a different thing altogether when the draw to come here includes transportation into the country or to the border. What are the Beatitudes?

HURRICANE UPDATE!
Arrived safely to the Village – fixin’ to make four DiGiorno supreme pizzas topped with mushrooms, zuccini, spinach, broccoli and extra cheese!
The grocery store was BUSY. I wonder if some of the folks were refugees from S FL staying in suites and condos.
FIELD REPORT:
Home Depot and Walmart did NOT have those heavy duty refreezable ice packs. Walmart has just redone their store here and it’s a downgrade. They got lots of pet stuff, not much practical stuff I need. I needed ice packs and over door hooks for Sally’s broom and mop. Home Depot was the same way – their stock was not practical and not as organized as it used to be. I’d say Home Depot and Walmart had gotten Chinasized. It seemed cheapened.
Ended up getting a couple of single over door hooks and a closet rod hook at Publix! Yay.
Lowes was just remodeled and restocked and the bathroom was nice! Chrome stall walls – can’t get dirty. And the stock was an upgrade – more quality stuff and they had some over door hooks, but none that would have done the job for the mop and broom. I didn’t want to use screw on hooks or put nails in the doors and didn’t want to trust those stick on Command hooks.
I bought 6 more large ice packs and 6 more small ones. Those plus the ones I already have will see us through a power outage for several days. :8->
It’s a pretty breezy Fall day in N FL. I passed about 8 power trucks some from TX and 2 without a state name – Brightstone company or something like that – heading toward Tampa to restore power after the storm passes. Those are heroes!!!!!!!
DeSantis said in an interview last night that the usual power linemen they called upon from the South were already busy with the devastation from Helene – so he had to seek guys from further out – TX and OK, etc.
There was LOTS of traffic coming out of S FL on the other side of I-10.
The outskirts of the storm is supposed to arrive here tomorrow.

Texas state troopers on Wednesday arrested dozens of illegal immigrants near the U.S.-Mexico border, including 25 unaccompanied children.
Lt. Chris Olivarez of the Texas Department of Public Safety said troopers apprehended a group of 101 illegal immigrants in Eagle Pass, which is located along the border.
Olivarez said 29 of the illegal immigrants were arrested on criminal trespass charges. State troopers recovered more than two dozen unaccompanied children, ages three to 15.
The 29 illegal immigrants arrested came from Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Honduras, El Salvador, Venezuela, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Ecuador and Brazil, Olivarez said.
Each was taken to the Val Verde Center Processing center. The family groups and unaccompanied children were referred to the U.S. Border Patrol.
