As a side note, her education was interesting to me. I nearly went to Dartmouth and did go to UVA for post graduate banking studies at the Darden School of Business. I passed on the former out of high school because I still fancied myself being a college athlete, hated cold weather, would have to get loans and was not sure if I wanted to be a lawyer. It was the right choice for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my UVA experiences and utilized two of their top graduate business professors later in my business banking employment. I agree. A computer science graduate is no going to have the patience to write a manifesto out in longhand. Especially with the number of revisions a manifesto would need.

Note: At its heart, git is a version control tracker. You can edit a document, roll back the changes, make changes to a prior version, try to meld them into the version you’d previously rolled-back from….it doesn’t just apply to computer software, but it is the standard in the industry for dealing with software projects.
Most word processors can do a limited form of change tracking, but if someone has a Master’s degree in CompSci, they’d naturally think of versions in the same way that git does.
Incidentally, git was created by the same Linus Torvalds that created Linux. He has joked that both projects’ names refer to himself. The guy had a personal beef with an insurance company refusing to pay for medical treatment needed by someone near and dear to him. He got fed up with all the similar stories he had heard.

Why he thought that was somehow appropriate or acceptable, we’ll probably never really know. Without knowing the intricacies of his family relationships, it’s impossible to honestly discount their influence on his actions.
Keep in mind that our own Savior allowed Himself to be crucified, though He could have easily stopped it. He had a purpose in allowing it. This killer could have had a purpose as well, one that is unknown and not easily discernable.
The problem for the killer is that he also had an internal conflict – he knew it was wrong so he left lots of clues to what his purpose truly was.
He was likely getting even. Was his logic flawed? Sure was, but that didn’t make it any less real for him. He thought it was fair and equitable.
BTW, lots of the general public agrees with that illogical logic. Witness all the positive tweets and other assorted social media.

1) Acquire your favorite jam
2) Put a layer of said jam on a teaspoon
3) Put your dosage of horse paste on top of jam
4) Cover horse paste with another layer of jam
5) Swallow the whole wad from the teaspoon like you would a raw oyster. Chase with a big swig of water
This way, I don’t even taste it.
I have used the pills recently and we can even get the compound pharmacy stuff legally OTC here in TN, but I had no problem with the paste for over a year. Just put a drop of honey on the spoon with the paste. Drink the water, good to go.

#1. My experience with back surgery (In the 1980s) was 50% no change, 25% improvement, 25% in a wheel chair. However I HAD TO ASK!
There is a good chance the pain got WORSE for him and he was not aware that was a possibility so he is going to blame the doctor.
#2. Someone who is young (35 and younger) generally has NO REAL EXPERIENCE WITH CHRONIC PAIN. Also the coddled wokesters of today can not handle that reality.
#3. The young folk of today have been taught TO BLAME SOMEONE ELSE, NEVER YOURSELF.
#4. The back problem was not a work injury and if he had to leave work, he would have NO INSURANCE from work. If, like a friend, the screws came loose he may not have been able to get insurance/hospital to pay for the additional work.
A friend is in MAJOR pain from screws working loose in his arm/wrist and has essentially lost the use of his hand. Thus he can not work…

It takes about 1/4 of a 5-gallon bucket for water to get hot for the shower. So we run it into a 5-gallon bucket and schlep it into the kitchen after our shower is over. It takes two pitchers of water for the water to get hot for the dishwasher. If you start the clothes washing machine on hot, you can switch it over to warm after it has an inch of water in the tub.
It’s not a big deal unless one of your buckets decides to disintegrate.
So your garden gets polluted with dead skin, emulsified soap and skin oils, and God knows how many germs of various types.
I hope you’re not eating anything grown from there.

I see that Senate Majority Schummer is ‘poaching’ a federal District Judge from President Trump today.
The vote today for Biden’s Judicial Nomination to the Pennsylvania Middle District Court is one I’ve never seen before. The judicial vote will be for Biden’s nominee, Neary, who will replace Christopher Conners.
There’s only one problem–The judgeship is not vacant until January 17th, 2025 and all current nominations end January 3rd, 2025 when it becomes a new Congressional Session. This ‘future’ Judicial vacancy should not be filled by this Session of Congress.
Why aren’t the Republican Senators saying anything about this ‘poaching’ of a future judicial vacancy!!??!!

We no longer have slaves to dig the weed or pick of the bugs. To some extent you can use mixed farming with chickens eating the bugs, pigs eating the insect infested drops in the orchards, weeder geese eating the grass among the fruit and veggies and goats eating the weeds. There is also ‘companion planting’ However ALL of that is more labor intensive and in the case of animals, NOT ALLOWED by the FDA.
What does the FDA as a whole know about farming? Yes, individuals in the system might, but for the most part, the officials are “credentialed” idiots who passed through a hazing ritual at university.
It was ALL about driving farmers into factories as cheap labor for the industrialists.

Mono-culture can not be used without the chemicals. As I said farming methods would have to be changed. Given the USDA/Chamber of Commerce “GET BIG OR GET OUT!” policy starting just after WWII they reduced the number of farmers from 18% after WWII to 2.6% in 1990. It is now down to just 1.3%.
A big problem is most of those farmers have a second job.

I am not happy with eating that crap either. It is why I have my goats and sheep and the neighbors, chicken, cattle and veggies.
However it took 80 years to destroy the old system so we can not just flip a switch. Someone has to do a HECK OF A LOT OF CAREFUL PLANNING other wise we will be in a worse situation compared to Sri Lanka since we are a food export country.

the one bright point is that transportation of goods has changed quite a bit in the last 50-60 years, and it’s much easier to get refrigeration trucks out to farms to transport.
That’s if the stores are willing to sell local. Our local chains are, so we do get the good stuff in the summer, anyway.
Of course farming should be made profitable enough to be a full-time job. And that means big things have to change.
Also, small (and I mean tiny) gardens can and do produce a whole lot of food. But people have to be taught and motivated how to do that.
All I know for sure is, human beings shouldn’t be eating poison. Ever.

Yes, I realize it is a huge undertaking. But I just know it is worth it for humanity. Somehow, in centuries past, wheat grew without poisons. We have to do it again.

Prayer Of Reflection On The Past Day
Loving Lord, as the day is coming to an end, I want to thank You for being with me in all that has taken place today. I also want to lay the whole day before You, asking that you would show me if there is anything that I have done to hurt or harm another person unknowingly, or if I have done anything that is displeasing in Your sight, or quenched the work of the Spirit in me, so that I may turn away from such things in the days that lie ahead.
Lord, I desire to do Your will in all things. I pray that You would cleanse me of any wrong thoughts or attitudes that may have surfaced in my heart today. Wash me in Your cleansing flood, I pray.
Thank You, that You are a God who forgives our transgressions when we are willing to confess them to You, knowing that such cleansing before You immediately draws us back into sweet fellowship with Yourself.
Give me a good night’s rest I pray, and may I rest quietly in Your loving arms in the knowledge that in Christ, I am eternally secure, due to Your amazing grace, for which I praise You. In Jesus’ name,

Would not surprise me if this guy woke up on a bench in Altoona, PA yesterday morning with a duffel bag full of fake IDs, cash and a gun and wandered into McDonald’s in a daze.
