It is with extreme sadness that I announce news, brought to us by DePat’s loving and faithful friend, For God & Country (FG&C).
Rather than simply approving FG&C’s comment, I decided to make it a full post. I will add my own comments afterward.
Dear Qtree,
I profoundly regret and sorrowfully bring you the sad news of our dear friend Susie “Depat” Sampson’s unexpected and sudden passing.
Susie was a fierce, albeit petite, Gen X MAGA warrior and patriot who dearly loved our American Republic. Highly intelligent, insightful, articulate, loyal, kind, and sweet are just a few of the accurate adjectives which describe this truly amazing, deeply committed and Christ-focused Christian lady.
A dedicated animal lover and dog owner, she was an alto singer by profession, performing her craft in the theatre as well as in various parish churches in the St. Louis area. She was also a blogger, self-published author, and unapologetic conservative.
7-8 weeks ago Susie attended a choir rehearsal, during which she had stood right next to a fellow choir member who she learned afterwards had been Covid vax-boosted for the 4th time that day. Perhaps she mentioned at some point in these pages that in the time since that night she believed she had contracted “long Covid”, experiencing physical weakness, insomnia, a persistent cough, and low appetite. She believed she had inhaled “spike proteins” shedding from the woman she stood next to that night at rehearsal, stating that had she known the woman had been so recently vaxxed she would never have gotten so close to her.
Recently, she had stated she was feeling better, the cough all but gone, and in the past week felt she had gotten over the insomnia hump and was getting good rest. I was optimistic. However, on Monday AM….inauguration day….her brother discovered her in her bedroom, unresponsive, after becoming concerned he had not heard her moving about and she had not come downstairs. Paramedics were subsequently unable to resuscitate her, and it is currently believed she suffered a heart attack and passed away in her sleep. After many attempts to reach her (we texted daily), her brother called me this afternoon with the news. I knew you would want to know as well.
I am aware of how this news will hit the Qtree community, and how loved and appreciated she was here. She loved being a part of this group as much as she loved the MAGA movement and President Trump. In particular, she was a longtime fan and admirer of the impossibly great “Gail Combs”, of whom we often laughed over the thought she must be a “deep MAGA” AI. 
It was through this very forum that I got to know her, and in the years after leaving here grew close with her, and I visited her in St. Louis many times. On her behalf, with complete confidence she would approve of this message below, let me say a few words for her to each of you…
My dear friends and fellow Qtree patriots,
We did it! Going all the way back these now many years to the time when most (if not all) of us originally came together at Conservative Treehouse, and later here at Qtree after Wolf created this space for those of us daring to believe in Q-Anon and subsequently being exiled from CTH for doing so, we have stood the test of time and proved resolute and firm with one another in our belief in God, his providence, and our beloved Republic.
We, along with tens of millions of our fellow patriots, and God’s blessings, have successfully taken on the almost impossible power and reach of the corrupt and evil globalist deep state, and we have once again elected our lion, President Donald J Trump to a historic and almost unprecedented non-concurrent term. I am confident that Trump 2.0 will prove as day is to night in comparison to his first term!
It has been the honor of a lifetime to share in this struggle with all of you; to pass through the many trials, uncertainties, set-backs, and victories together. We never gave up, never gave in, and never wavered. We ran the good race! It has been an incredible journey which we have chronicled together on these pages over all these many years.
I know that each of you will continue the good and holy fight, and I will be watching and praying for you, your individual and collective success, and the reestablishment of our Republic as the founder’s envisioned and ordained by God.
Do not be afraid, and never fear. Our sovereign Lord and Almighty God is firmly in control, and all is unfolding according to his design!
This is not “good-bye”, this is only a “see you later!”, and while parting is sorrowful, the joy of our reunion in the presence of our mighty and loving King will so overwhelm the sadness as to render it entirely moot and inconsequential.
I love you all, carry each of you in my heart, and reluctantly take my leave from you with this…

I will begin by thanking For God & Country for this desperately needed but sad news, as well as for his wonderful message from DePat, which I will admit made me cry.
As I know for certain that DePat’s final wish for me would be to remove FG&C from moderation, I will do that immediately after publishing this. If we cannot all lay down our swords in DePat’s honor, then we have no business being here.
I will add more information about DePat’s last comments and posts in the comments.
Thank you ALL for being good friends of Susie, and for your concern as she battled recent health issues, and then as she vanished from the site.
To say DePat will be greatly missed is an almost appalling understatement. She was, if not the heart and soul of this site, at least a huge portion of it. Her influence on me was as profound as any teacher I ever had – and I had some great ones.
There will be a time that I will fully discuss my scientific opinion about what happened to Susie. I may say some things now, but I will definitely say more later. There are things that MUST be said.
Finally, let me add this. Susie was one of the greatest defenders of the Catholic Church that I have ever known. While I do not consider myself to be Catholic, she made me a great ally of “The Church” – as she called it. She remains, in my opinion, one of the greatest servants of The Lord that I have ever had the honor of knowing.
In God I trust – that Susie is now exactly where God wants her, and where she wants to be.

This is profoundly shocking and sad news. It will take a while to process it, and words fail me. Prayers for all the family, her friends, and everyone here. May she rest in eternal peace.

My initial response to tragedy is always more or less “responder mode” – but after doing my duty, I’m allowing myself to be stunned, and to grieve.

Can’t think of anyone else, either.
Then, again, I just walked down the hall and couldn’t remember where I had been going. This is quite a shock.
This time, I managed to stagger down the hall and shut down and check locks on the main part of the house, and reset the furnace to its overnight mode.
Which took about 110% of my current available mental capacity.
Certainly shocking news.
Sadly, very sadly I expected it when she went “silent.” DP had not done that for an extended time, that I recall.
Incredibly grateful FG&C wrote such a heartwarming, motivating post.
Quite the damper on an otherwise beautiful day.

I got to sleep late last night and got up late this morning, so it seems that my manic phase is taking a break. We’ll see how long that lasts.
The loss of our dear De Pat is like a foggy drizzle while the sun shines outside.

She didn’t post here a lot, but Bren (half of Kalbren) died in a horrible home accident a little over a year ago. She wasn’t much older than DePat.
OMG – I didn’t know about that. She was a wonderful person. I’m so sorry to learn of this. Praying for both her and her other half. Is he OK? 
I haven’t been in touch for some time. His health was very precarious but the last I heard he had actually found a treatment plan that was effective. So physically he was doing better, but what a loss to bear.
Elizabeth Carter. I don’t know what happened to her, it seemed that her health was declining, and I think she moved in with family. After the move, she posted less and less, until she wasn’t able to post anymore, as far as I can tell.

Always felt a special connection to this dear and wonderful woman because of a strong family history in St. Louis.
Her “Author Days” were extra special to me.
Crying and covered with sadness for a woman I never met…but can honestly say I loved.
She was a wonderful person. I want to say she was a saint, but I know that she would correct me on that! 
G dammit. Sob… mf…hell. and stuff. My peer. Literally my gen x peer and long covid peer too. The vaxx again. I am very sorry for DP who went out of her way to shrug off covid. To be the rock for her family after her mom died, only to have this happen.
God graced her w going in her sleep at least. I hope she was received w open arms.

Very sad news, My heart goes out to her family. I felt that this was probably going to be the outcome. She will be missed dearly.
Surely tough on the entire family. In particular, The Engineer, Susie’s Father.
Their household has evolved a lot in the short years I knew of Susie and what she shared.

I didn’t. She was too young, too healthy and active, too knowledgeable about Covid and generally well informed for something like this to happen.
I still can’t believe it. She was just here, commenting, a few days ago.
I figured between family showing up and her recent illness, she was probably exhausted.
Well she was…quite literally in the fullest sense of the term “exhausted”–completely expended.

I lost a fair number of old friends (back to high school) in a short span last fall. My car withstood the sudden poundings on the steering wheel and the reverb of my bloodcurdling screams of anguish.
And I just now found out…another back to elementary school, though not one I got along with. Not an unexpected event in this case. We exchanged a few texts the last couple of weeks.
Oh Steve. Sorry to hear you have had so many losses to bear all at one time. The grief just accumulates.

Her family — father & brother — will have a hard time since they lost not only D-Pat’s Mom but now her in such a short time.

I would think the Couch commando is now in shock and guilt, given D-Pat was feeling so poorly for several weeks and he still expected to be waited on.

Yeah. I actually ended up learning in high school, because my mother went back to school, and her major was biochemistry.

I have honestly not wanted to think about the shedding aspect. It’s just too horrible on top of everything else we know about Covid. It all seems so hopeless. But this is a wake up call. If there is any way to fight this we need to do it.
That is true something in her heart not diagnosed. Ill tell you, i got sick 2nd week of december. Very very bad. Havent been this sick since covid. So sick i ended up on albuterol and prednisone bc it became asthma. I still have a bit of the wheezing. She had similar rounds of being sick and i wonder if that vaxx exposurestarted the latest illness or just made ir worse.

I suspect, though can’t prove of course, that our DP was pretty run-down to begin with. Her family was her life, and it seems like it was a lot. The clot-shot is opportunistic. This is a wake-up call to take very good care of ourselves. We must be vigilant and diligent about our immune system and general health.

This news is very sad and shocking . Too young, too committed to a healthy lifestyle, too loyal, too quick…too many things. She will be mourned by us all. I’m having a hard time processing it.
Just don’t put your hands on your grief. It will process itself, strange as that sounds.

And it’s true… all manner of stories have broken loose last night…From Zelensky demanding US troops on his front line, to Putin saying he wants Fauci extradited to our country to stand trial and so much more… however even the best of armies have always paused in battle upon the news of one their great warriors falling in the fight to pay homage. We’ll not do different as the fight swirls around us and will be back in the fight before we know it.

in that regard, i want to say what i never said to DePat while i was able to. It’s an honor to be on this battlefield, such as it is, with each of you. It’s not just the information i find here, but the spirit, the camaraderie, the ability to connect and realize we’re not alone in this.

As I reflect on this, and as I recall what Trump said at the inauguration parade/rally, I realize that when he said “all of you did this” (or something to that effect), he was absolutely right. DePat was one of the strongest fighters for MAGA. She was not a “big influencer” in terms of easily measured clicks and impressions, or monetization dollars, but she made a big difference, keeping this site alive from the very beginning, and influencing many people to see what she saw first and clearest. And on top of all that, she was a loyal and key figure in multiple churches in her diocese. Praise God for sending DePat our way. She was a true hero of MAGA, and a great spirit warrior for the Prince of Peace.
i think her opens reflected so much about her that i never appreciated before. not only information, but art, music and humor as well– i couldn’t wait to see her memes. she will be missed so much!

I get the impression it was before the actual inauguration.

If I felt that my symptoms were pneumonia or bronchitis or appendicitis or whatever..I want the test. I will not take ANY vaccine but an antibiotic okay, start there.

It’s great to see you. I think of all of you often. I have to switch browsers and try to remember log ins and passwords to come here, sort of like crossing the border into a foreign country, lol, so I get it. Still, I’d make more of an effort but I have been battling a whole basket full of health concerns so I have less time and energy to spend. Horrible though that it takes a tragedy to get me over here.

Now, I am so sad that we’ve lost Susie Sampson. I am grateful to know her name and to have the message from FG&C, DePat, and Wolf. She gave us so much of her time, knowledge, wit, and heart. We have been blessed for the time with her even though only online. The bioweapon thief is not done yet.

I’ve been trying to figure out what to say, but coming up short… I’m gutted, as the Brits say, because it’s like losing a family member or relative, despite the fact that we’ve never met.
DePat was, as she described herself, a Jill of all trades. A tireless supporter of MAGA and the Q-Tree, it looks like she poured herself into everything she did, be it music, writing, expressing and defending the Faith (GOD Bless her), and taking care of her family.
Speaking of faith, she didn’t have a Mary/Martha conflict; she was both. Professing and living her faith, as well as serving her family (who no doubt now realize all that she did for them) is a real testimony of Walking the Walk, not just Talking the Talk.
Like others have said, how great it will be to have a Q-Tree reunion in that great gettin up mornin…

That was a few weeks after directly calling into question one of his posts (one where he was trying to claim the government not only disbursed the entitlements, but then spent that much more on other crap, thinking we’d be confused). If I recall correctly I pointed out that the Big Government Balance sheet would have been too big a lie to hide that, and the federal debt number would diverge too quickly. He seemed stunned but he let me live, and as far as I know he never repeated the claim. But then again I stopped going there a month or two afterwards.
I actually contributed money to his hurricane relief work after I got banned. I don’t think he connected my real name to that guy who made fun of his writing style.

I was banned after sharing some prayer requests & messages on the prayer page for “Angel Staria/Angelle at the Gates of War” (haven’t seen or heard from him in a very long time either, including email). Those messages were up for part of a day & got some interactions & then all was pulled down. They even banned my son Josiah when he made some comments on the prayer pages too. That was pretty sad & callous for that prayer community had been a support system to both of us through many difficult challenges & being silenced was like being “erased from existence” so discouraging…
Angel is likely passed on to the next world. He messaged me many times about his state of health, which was both elderly and precarious. May he be with God now!

I was hoping that DP was just not feeling well, but I was feeling that the Lord might have taken her home. And so He has. She will be sorely missed as so many have already said. It has been a privilege to know her.
Such sad news! I had noticed on Inauguration Day that she was strangely silent here, which would have been THE day to comment. That same day I got news that a friend was in ICU after collapsing at home due to a case of Influenza A. Maybe that made me suspicious. But I was hoping for her to turn up in some hospital and return here when she was better.
I used to always wave for her over St. Louis before changing flights on my way to “Tinytown” Missouri. Unfortunately, I never managed to find time to reach out and meet her or to walk in the St. Louis botanical gardens she so often mentioned.
She will be sorely missed here, as in her family.

Susie Sampson was the Project Coordinator for my late husband’s Memoirs book. She worked on his manuscript for over 2 years, getting the massive amounts of material he wrote collated, sorted out, and into publishable form. I cannot describe how professional she was, how thorough, and how painstaking she was on this project. I am proud to have worked with her. The Memoirs could not have been published without her.
I sensed that something had gone very wrong with Susie’s health when she began posting that she couldn’t do stairs and was using some of the “assisting tools” that her late mother used. This was despite the all things she was doing to fight the COVID-19 exposure illness that she contracted from the choir member who had just gotten the latest “booster” injection.
Susie was a large woman, built like a Wagnerian soprano. She was a splendid singer, trained in St. Louis. She sent me a video of her singing the soprano solos in a concert presented during an overseas concert choir tour.
I firmly believe that Susan P. Sampson died because of that just-“boosted” choir member shedding COVID-19 “vaccine” onto Susie during that choir rehearsal about 7 weeks ago. They were sitting beside each other at rehearsal. Susie’s health had already taken a hit from the months of her being the caregiver to her late mother, who herself had died from the cardiac effects of the Moderna COVID-19 “vaccines” she had taken. There were also other COVID-19 “vaccinated” members of her family living in the family home (her father and at least one of her siblings). If I recall correctly, Susie herself posted on this board to “avoid people who just got “boosted”.”
May the Almighty God grant Susie eternal Peace and Rest under His wings. She was about 42 years old.

I narrowly missed being the bearer of bad tidings once last year (they already knew), so I know how you feel–that horrid apprehension as you hit the button that commits you to telling them.
PAVACA has dedicated her life for years to informing everybody who cares to read about the evil that has been delivered to the entire world. I beg all readers to seriously consider what she has posted and take the necessary steps to counter it.

I had the chance to see Hermann Prey in recital, years ago, at the newly completed Ambassador Auditorium in Pasadena (my Cello Professor was also a professor there, so I got free tickets every now and then). I was sitting in the first row, a little off center, and as I looked over, I could see a cloud emanating from him, along, of course, with one of the most wonderful voices of the last century.
I had no idea that being at a recital would be a tiny version of Gallagher’s “sledge-o-matic” “floods”, but that indeed is what it was (and has to be, if you’re to reach the back row).

Agreed. I used to buy Agrimectin in liquid form. Then squirt the dose into a glass of water and take it that way. I now buy the pills from India a couple hundred at a time because it’s the cheapest I’ve found. I still take ivermectin 4 days a week and haven’t been sick since I originally got covid back in late 2019 and I’m exposed to vaxxed people all the time.

Tell you what I do.
I get my Ivermectin from the feed store. I buy antibiotics from the pet supply store online. They are for “fish,” haha. They come in capsule form, in the dosage required for humans. They are pretty cheap, and no prescription is required.
I buy my vitamins at Walgreen’s or the grocery store or wherever, usually buy-one-get-one free on sale.
The only thing you can’t get without a prescription is HCQ. But with Ivermectin, HCQ is redundant anyway.
Don’t let money worries keep you from taking charge of your health. The powers-that-be don’t want you to, but you can.

One additional note: there was a doctor that stayed out of trouble with the medical boards in 2020 by educating his patients in how to obtain methylene blue. I believe he said it is the precursor to HCQ. They could get it themselves without any pharmacist ratting out the doctor. Early on in the panic I bought some from a science lab supply business. At the time they had just been de-banked and I had to use crypto to pay for it. They sell it on Amazon now.
It’s important to know that less is more because at too high a dose it gives you the same symptoms it helps at lower doses. Also, as is being discussed here, we are getting exposure to so much these days. Whenever I feel off, I just put 2 or 3 drops into a couple ounces of water and drink it. Usually just once or twice and it clears the deck of any symptoms. Worth having on hand.

Then again, I suspect the spike proteins which caused her illness also caused her to develop a blood clot, which was subsequently “thrown” by the body, and it reached either her heart, causing a heart attack, or her brain, causing a massive stroke. Meaning, as far as I know or am aware, there wasn’t much anyone could do other than suspecting she was in grave danger and making her go to the ER (which she would have insisted was a death sentence anyway).
The best day-to-day preventatives for older folks (us Gen Xers) in reasonable or better health against blood clots, short of medications, are the following:
1) daily walks, at a minimum
2) one (1) baby aspirin every AM
3) wear compression socks throughout the day
4GodandCountry

I imagine each of us wishes we could have saved DePat in some way. She was in God’s hands and he needed her home. Ok. Need to get a couple things.
Most people just expel whatever vitamin C their body doesn’t need through urination, I think. I only take 500mg a day in capsule form, but I eat a lot of fruit, tomatoes, etc.
If you take too much for your body, you get the runs. I can not take 1,000 at once for that reason so I take 500 in the morning and 500 at night.

The 2500 mg of Vitamin C is an amount that, depending on the person, could be started at a much lower amount, then “calibrated” slowly upwards as the body gets used to it.
Excess Vitamin C is excreted in the urine. Your body will “signal” when it’s had enough — you’ll need to use the bathroom.
On the other hand, there are lots of people who, for example, take a 500 mg Vitamin C supplement daily, plus a glass or two of orange juice, and it’s all good.
Giloo, you might try buffered Vitamin C, if you are concerned about stomach issues. I take a 750mg capsule every day with dinner, and I get another 120mg from a daily multivitamin.
When I first started, I had non-buffered Vitamin C, and my stomach didn’t tolerate it well.

Oh my heart; we’ve lost such a great Patriot and fellow human being. I cannot imagine the sorrow and helplessness Susie’s family must be enduring at her sudden passing. She carried her family on her shoulders, and it is a great loss for them as well as our QTree community.
I loved DPat’s daily posts; her work ethic was truly extraordinary, and I appreciate her contributions in so many topics – politics, professional singing, Catholic religion, St. Louis anecdotes – along with her unique opinions and sometimes acerbic manner of expressing same.
I will miss her every day .., even the little touches like Coothie’s nightly salute to her posts
that have been such a touchstone of her presence.
I truly appreciate FG&C for such a touching notice, and envy his close friendship with Susie. May he find solace in his memories of their time together.
I do not know the whole history of FG&C’s leavetaking from the QTree nor do care. Life is short, and our time together is precious, no matter temporary clashes in personality or opinions. The first 29 pages of the report are, in my opinion, “scientific/medical word salad” to attempt to “prove” how BNT162b2 is “the best thing ever.”
However, the Appendix 1. List of Adverse Events of Special Interest, starting on page 30 of the report, is the place where the REAL information is found. These are the listings of the over 1,200 serious Adverse Events that occurred in persons who took BNT162b2 in the report time frame period.
I just realized that ANY of these over 1,200 types of adverse events can ALSO, in my opinion, be potential possible negative outcomes for non-“vaccinated” persons, DUE TO COVID-19 “VACCINE” SHEDDING.
Regarding our good DePat:
If I recall correctly, she was doing well after her mother’s death (which, in itself, was induced by the Moderna mRNA-1273 shots that her mother took.)
Last summer, for example, DePat was going on trips with family members for things like white-water rafting, etc.
DePat also used a treadmill on days when the weather made it impossible to go outside and walk. On sunny days, she made it a point to be out in the sun for a period of time to soak up natural Vitamin D. It appears that things began to happen with her health about 7-8 weeks ago. Add in the fact that she was working harder than before in doing things at home for the family, since her mother was gone.
Page 2, for example, of the Appendix 1. from the above report, has several types of “Cardiac” or “Cardio-” related serious Adverse Event reports.
Page 6 has “Myocarditis” in the “M” listings.
Page 8 and Page 9 have several types of “Thrombo-” related serious Adverse Event reports listings.
Yours Truly is not about to “armchair general” diagnose what happened with our good DePat. I am only offering my thoughts.

There are many times when I could have chosen a more diplomatic and non-confrontational approach to a point I was making or issue I was addressing. I regret them. These days, I have learned to simply stop engaging when I feel my proverbial dander starting to itch. I’m getting old and don’t have the energy anymore.

Itswoot, many years ago I had a friend who I’d asked to help serve in my wedding but she wanted to be a bridesmaid so never came to the ceremony (I didn’t know at the time) but later watched on video. Shortly thereafter I moved across the country & lost touch with most everybody in my past as I was raising a family, especially when my twins were born a couple years later, the one with significant medical needs.
I letter came from my friend telling me about her battle with leukemia & how she didn’t want to “lose a friendship over a wedding”. Initially I wanted to see if I could be a match for a bone marrow transplant though I was in MI & she was in OK, though I never told her this. I was overwhelmed with my special needs son at that point & never replied to her letter though was praying for her & still considered her a friend in spite of the breach.
A couple years later, after our daughter was born, we went back to Tulsa for a visit & I went to look up this friend so we could have a face to face conversation. Unfortunately I learned that she had since died, presumably of leukemia, so she never knew that I hadn’t held her behavior about my wedding or move across the country against her.
I was so sorrowful, including a weight of guilt for not having reached out to her closer to when she wrote me.
Sometime later I read the book called The Language of Flowers & whenever they would describe the historical/Victorian meaning of flowers I would think of how to make a cyber bouquet to express my complex feelings about my friend, our friendship, & her death. I have yet to create such a bouquet in her honor. Perhaps I’ll look up her FindAGrave listing & do so there, when the time is right, or perhaps I’ll do a blog post to air out some of these complexities…in God’s time & my energy & focus allowing…
Anyway please don’t punish yourself for never having overtly reconciled with DP. Hopefully her faith enabled her to walk in forgiveness toward you as I hope my friend Elaine’s faith may have enabled her to be forgiving of me in my weaknesses as well.
DP & Elaine are at peace in the Lord’s presence & He has wiped Every Tear from their eyes so there is likely no offence remaining only lasting love & joy. In Jesus’ Love

I had been working my second retirement job for nearly 12 years at the local supermarket, an HEB and always noted as I walked past the twenty cash registers up front that Big Mike was on the cover of at least two of the tabloids every week. Often more.
When Trump took office I was quite expecting then I’d get to see a pretty face there. It was about a month after she was not appearing that I figured out the game. They didn’t want to expose her to the masses as it would only serve President Trump. That they continued that for the full four years of his term is appalling and demonstrated the strength and vindictiveness of the Cabal.
I’m fully retired now so don’t go out but maybe once every 10 days and if I’m lucky I stay in the car as the wife shops so I fear I’m going to miss checking the check out lanes. Best I do now is about once a month in a store unless it’s COSTCO and they don’t have magazines at the registers so if anyone can make note of any sightings or negative reports of sightings in any ground reports that would be nice. That said I can and will check mag covers on line.
It will be a good indicator of how deep state plans to treat Trump.

And a tree house, I hope. With a fireplace.

Because he is absolutely right. The whole thing is very subtle, but he ended up in the same place I did, after a lifetime of quantum chemistry. He came at it from physics (more wave, less particle) and I came at it from chemistry (particles everywhere), but particles just don’t really help at the quantum level, and waves do – chemistry without waves is dead, even at surprisingly large scales. Thus, when it comes to light, photons are a misleading concept that gained too much assumption of physical reality, independent of measurement, at the very beginning.
Light – detected AT particles – therefore “behaves” “partically” – as one might expect. But it is NOT a particle, and once you abandon even momentary thinking of particles of light, as I also did, things start to make sense.
Now, quantum mechanics is still weird, and there is some weird stuff left after a maximal wave understanding, but I will be blunt. Einstein was right. Schroedinger was right. This dude is right. Stick with waves and common sense, and you may not get funding, but you will get RESULTS.
I am particularly impressed that he was able to launch a direct attack on Bell’s theorem, which has always struck me as the Planet Vulcan of quantum mechanics. And the IDEA that Bell’s is flawed because it assumes particles – THAT is subtle but very genius. I didn’t follow his explanation completely (needs a full video), but Bell’s is just annoying – in part because it is beloved by the most annoying people, who get a boner about “you can’t do that and Einstein was wrong.” Sure, buddy. These people are inevitably assholes, who recite facts well but question nothing, so watching Bells take a potential hit is almost as satisfying as learning that the Dunning-Kruger effect is not real, and simply autocorrelation. Deplorable science rocks!

That last one hurts my heart. I wish we knew if it would have worked.
I know, God’s will. But I can’t help it.
I was tempted to post, “no it won’t” but the reply won’t go back in time.
Times like these, I have learned…the hard way…that the best possible reaction is to choose into gratitude.
Try it.
List all the ways you were grateful for and to Susie. Be specific and detailed. Her humor. Her wit. Her intelligence. Her loyalty. Her sensibility. Her love of God. I can go on for paragraphs. Then, afterwards, just try to feel sad.
It is impossible to feel sad while truly, authentically, and genuinely experiencing gratitude.
Plus, Susie was Irish. The irish celebrate a passing, their don’t mourn in the sense others do.
Be happy for Susie that, at the worst, her soul is sleeping, but at the best, she is with her Mom, beyond the reach of this fallen world, in the loving presence of God. She would HATE people crying over her vs. celebrating her, who she is, always will be, and all she did.
She isn’t gone. She is alive and better than she’s ever been! We just can’t talk with her. And this, only for a short while.
If we cry, it is for ourselves. Trust me, given the choice she would chose where she is 100x more than where she was. This fallen world is a foul place, and as a devoted follower of Christ she hated this world of sin. We spoke of this very choice many times and at great, great length.
Her constant and ever-given message was, “Relax and be of good cheer. God is in control.”
My own emerging interpretation of her passing is God saying, “My good and cheerful daughter, it is time for you enjoy your own well-given advice. Come home. Your part in this struggle is now over, your mission accomplished. Well done, my good and faithful servant. It is now for others to take up where you will leave off, and I will gift them my love and grace, as I did to you.”

My phone’s microphone died. And it wasn’t all that great while it was alive.
I ended up holding my nose and buying a Google Pixel 8a.
Ironically the best way to de-google Android phones is to install open-source Graphene OS on your android phone, but alas Graphene ONLY supports google pixel phones. So my next project is making that switch. Apparently once done Google can’t see what you’re doing but of course it’s still a tracking device.
I don’t know yet whether the open-sourcing is good enough to prevent, say, the microphone from coming on without your knowledge. So Gail’s “leave it next to the toilet” protocol may still be in order.

Oh, yes, please tell us about your experience with Graphene OS…and sorry out of curiosity, did you ever get your Linux phone? There are times when I cannot read the blog so I don’t know what happened there.
I have been thinking if it was worth updating my phone (Samsung S10+) although my battery is still pretty good (more than 3 days between charges usually) so a few weeks ago, I found some GrapheneOS videos:
This guy was a strong supporter of the OS
but then decided to uninstall it
I got the phone.
It’s a useless fucking brick and every effort I’ve made to work with their tech support has ended in them just ghosting me, after they walk me through update the software, reflash this, blah, blah, blah, like the problem is I don’t have the right software on the phone.
I’ve managed to establish on my own that if I park 100 yards away from a cell tower I can make a call.
Does it do everything except make calls?
I can plug it into a dock and use it as a linux box.
I was even able to design my own keyboard for it.
But if it can’t make calls, it’s basically a boat anchor.
Can it do texts?
If all the tech support keeps reloading software and it doesn’t work, maybe it’s just a bad phone module.
Or detached antenna.
It’s connected.
Electrically, or just physically?
Hmm. I suppose I should do a continuity check.
I really think it’s the antenna.
If I sit close enough to the tower to get warmed up by it, the phone works.

I assume it’s openable. Can you solder?
One of the things they tried was sending me a new modem card. I had to very carefully pry the antenna leads off and put them back on again (yes it’s openable, obviously–one of the selling points is that you own the thing, and can service it yourself, no proprietary tools needed).
Those are good things, and what I might expect them to do. I also might expect it to work, and I gather it didn’t.
Do you know anyone with an RF lab? It’d be really interesting to throw a scope on the antenna leads connections.

I just opened it up.
There’s nothing accessible that I can touch a probe to on the modem side of the physical connection, so connectivity check is out.
What did you pry the antenna leads off of? While you had it off, did you check to see if there was any schmutz in there?
The antenna leads are attached to the modem with these connectors that aren’t intended to last through more than a few connections/disconnections. I pried the leads off of the old board, put in the new board, and pressed them back on.
That would be the place you’d want to throw a scope on. Assuming you had one fast enough to look at cellphone frequencies.

I have read all your posts every day and I loved Deplorable Patriot, she was a fabulous writer as well as a great Patriot. I am from a suburb of Vancouver Canada and I and my family are unvaccinated, due to the wealth of knowledge from your site. I cried all morning for a very dear heart that will be missed in this world.

I think most will remember you well as we do the others that don’t post often. The only surprises I noted today were Firefox and June Bug, true lurkers that have never appeared before to the best of my knowledge. Nice that they have just as it is nice to have you pop back in. She certainly left a big imprint and was a challenging and rewarding read. Truly to be missed, but as you say in good hands now.

Oh Wolf, I’m behind on Q-Tree reading so am so sorry to hear of this news of DP’s untimely passing. She was such a shining light for Truth, our Lord, & our precious USA. May God comfort all who grieve in her passing, her family, friends, associates, & especially our vibrant Q-Tree community. She will continue to be mightily missed…
So stunned, shocked and very sad to read this post. Deplorable Patriot was a staple of the Q tree and I truly enjoyed her posts, and her knowledge of the Catholic Faith. She embodied a wonderful loyalty to her country and to her faith.
I will offer a Mass for the repose of Susie Sampson. My sincere condolences to her family and to Qtreepers.
