We pretty much already knew that the elections were not being run lawfully. Marly Hornik of United Sovereign Americans knows the law. Let’s take a look.

1/ SECURING LIBERTY IN AMERICA
Marly Hornik, co-founded the national election validity organization, United Sovereign Americans, with cyber and election security subject matter expert Harry Haury. Her presentation warning fellow Americans of the constitutional and legal disaster of our elections, made at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach on March 3, 2025, is contained in this thread:
2/ The current election process nationwide is an uncontrolled, unmonitored catastrophe that is producing false returns. The last bastion of freedom on Earth is at risk of being destroyed forever, as early as 2026. Under President Trump’s decisive leadership, we see the proof that our own government has been selling out our kids’ future by stealing trillions of dollars per year from the American people, making us pay for their often-twisted agenda. Nowhere have officials betrayed us as badly as in our elections, nationwide.
3/ USA is the first organization to measure election misconduct as defined under criminal law, to deeply study Supreme Court precedent, and document the scale of defined election fraud nationwide. After years of law enforcement meetings, official reports, legislative hearings, criminal referrals and staggering trial-ready evidence, massive election fraud is still being illegally certified as accurate. Asking whether election officials are bad people is irrelevant—their job is to prevent fraud, and they are legally required to prove it to us. That’s what we pay them for. Twenty-one Chief Election Officials have been fully briefed, nine have been sued, and every last one has proven disloyal to the sovereign they serve—the American people—and disloyal to the contract we made with our government, the United States Constitution.
4/ USA has tracked tens of millions of individual felonies. We were the first to discover and document the algorithms and central vote manipulation. We filed our detailed data with states, the FBI, Homeland Security, and the DOJ under the previous administration, and filed nine federal lawsuits demanding that election commissions follow the law. And what did we prove? Every last federalized state election official believes they are the sovereign, and they are the one who chooses our representatives. Every last one. They are perfectly content to continue violating our Constitution down to the root.
5/ Our founders were masters of philosophy. They said the job of a government is to protect the gift of life. Our government guarantees individual sovereignty, within the boundaries of a social contract. To fix our election problems, we must work inside this structure, or we will damage our gift in anger and undisciplined haste.
6/ The first sentence says we secure the blessing of liberty for ourselves and our posterity. The second sentence says all power to make laws is vested in Congress. The third sentence says that the people of the several states shall choose those lawmakers. Period. They work for us. If valid elections were not the key to securing liberty, the Constitution would be written in a different order.
7/ And that is why election officials who ignore and break federal law are prosecuted as criminals. When they register false voters, accept and count illegal ballots, certify false tallies, and destroy or hide records, they sacrifice our future in their arrogance, and they can land in federal prison. The job of an election official is to act in honor for our country. It’s not for the weak.
8/ A voter registration record cannot contain false or invalid information. If a record is not 100% legitimate, it is suspicious. Before it can be added to the official list of voters, it must be scrutinized according to strict legal process.
9/ USA audited the official state records of the certified 2022 midterms, in 21 states. We found 29 million material errors in the official lists of voters. Voters registered before they were born, registered after voting in federal elections, voters named asterisk, voters with no name at all, or blank addresses. Garbage data. How did they get this bad?
10/ Now let me show you what we found in California’s infamous 2024 election: 9.5 million times, the control process failed at registration. This is not clerical error, this is criminal. When the voter rolls are broken, it is criminal election fraud. You can’t “clean” them. They cannot be trusted, nor used to secure a world power against enemies, foreign and domestic.
11/ In New York, the control process broke 5.8 million times. Elections secure the law; if elections have no law, we have no law.
12/ Here are the sickening facts regarding California’s actual vote in 2024. The only legal way for these voters to vote was via provisional ballot. Did California accept 5.5 million provisional ballots in 2024, and adjudicate each one according to the law? That’s one in every three voters who voted. How can they not know who one third of their voters are?
13/ They can’t. California broke the third sentence of the Constitution, and illegally certified 52 members for the United States House of Representatives, plus Adam Schiff. We need to stop maligning voters we disagree with, and start putting criminals in jail.
14/ New York illegally certified 26 members of the House of Representatives, and Senator Gillibrand. Who are each of these people working for? We’re not saying none of them were chosen by the people. The problem is no one knows. Why are we accepting that for our loved ones and our country? Is that the life you were created for? The theft of legitimate representation is a heinous crime.
15/ We took it one step further. USA studied the identity of the voters ourselves. Our attorneys hired a private investigator. Searching in three unique commercial law-enforcement tools, used to find people precisely in space and time, we could not find 993,000 voters in California’s midterm. Nearly a million voters who don’t exist had their votes counted. Nearly half a million voters who don’t exist had their votes counted in Pennsylvania. You’re looking at 8.5 million illegal votes. No one bothered to verify them. Our country is under attack. We put people in jail for a handful of fake ballots, yet these crimes have so far gone unpunished.
16/ USA is strongly in favor of voter ID. It will make the election officials’ job much easier, which protects them and protects America. But as you can see here, it will not fix the entire process of an election. There are numerous control points within the election system under direct attack. They must all be secured and only USA knows how to do it, mostly using current law.
The first step in a legal process is to follow critical national security infrastructure law, FISMA, and implement the Risk Management Framework. The entire system must be subject to rigorous threat testing, exactly as it is going to be used. Risk-limiting audits conducted by election officials are a fraud on the people. The voting system is a digital border of our country that must be continually monitored for dynamic, evolving attacks. We are securing the multi-trillion-dollar economy of the dominant world power, and our great-grandchildren’s inalienable rights.
Next, we must train all election personnel in threat assessment and process control, at every polling site. Then we can begin registration of verified, qualified voters. Nothing else can pass through the control point. USA found 29 million instances where this control broke. This means the states have no idea who is in their voter rolls. After that is voter ID at the polls, here. If you want to get rid of mail-in ballots, a great idea, that’s here. But every mail-in ballot goes through this judging table, and if it fails, the ballot is supposed to be thrown out. That control point broke in Pennsylvania in 2020, and Arizona 2022, among many others. If we get rid of the machines, that’s here. Scanning errors must be scrutinized here, chain of custody here, and if aggregate error exceeds the legal limit, the election fails here.
If we made it this far, we can start reporting to the media. But every single record from every county and polling site must now be reviewed by the Chief Election Official. When they certify a mixed state and federal election, this one clerk, of whom there are only fifty in the whole country, attests that the state and federal governments are both legitimate and duly authorized republican governments. They better be certain, because they can be held personally responsible when they commit perjury.
USA is in complete agreement with President Trump. We love the President’s idea of a constitutional amendment for a national election holiday, using manual voting systems. But after years of meticulous research done out of devotion to country, while countless undisciplined screamers have profited off USA data and discoveries, acting like suspicion and opinion are equal to hard evidence, we still lack the votes. We need strategy, not theatrics. To pass an amendment, we have to have a valid election in 2026. We can’t pass it with imposters living in our House and Senate.
17/ In 1868, ten states were barred from voting on the fourteenth amendment. Three states were denied Electoral College votes. Why? Because they betrayed the union. They went rogue, and Congress refused to recognize their delegates. Congress called them “territories of the United States,” and ignored their governments until they complied with the Union.
18/ Illinois, New York, California, Pennsylvania and Michigan are rogue states. No one in those governments knows if their congressional representatives are legitimate. I don’t know, you don’t know, and neither do they. Certifying elections for Congress with millions of fictitious voters and votes is an act of defiance against the United States Constitution, and USA has gathered the proof, from the states’ own official records, that this is exactly what happened.
19/ In these Supreme Court decisions, election officials went to federal prison. Read the prosecution guidelines. False voters, false votes and false tallies are all defined federal election fraud since 1873. Election officials are not allowed to take their orders from the Brennan Center; they must follow the law.
20/ The United States Department of Justice under Attorney General Bondi must immediately open a criminal investigation of this digital invasion, prosecute those responsible, and compel the states to follow legal process in 2026. Our right to legitimate congressional representation was stolen in 2022 & 2024. We cannot repeat this and have the rule of law. But we don’t just need to investigate blue states. This problem is in Ohio and Florida, it’s in Georgia and Texas. We have lost control of our elections everywhere and it’s a crime against our country. We must enforce the law—or the defense of inalienable rights on Earth may end. Today, we remind the DOJ that we gave them the proof starting in 2021. I first shopped at Target in 1971. I loved the store; it was my first “go to” on any shopping day. But the day they approved men using the women’s bathroom was the last day I ever shopped there…until last Friday.
When I heard that the DEI supporting leftists were boycotting Target on Friday, I decided to drive to the nearest one – an hour away – and buy something. Felt like I was in a foreign land. I ended up spending $50 on some basic toiletries and pharm stuff.
At checkout, there were 6 or 7 lanes open, and as I got to the cashier, they were opening 2 more. The cashier gal mentioned that they had been “really busy today.”
I said, that’s good news.
My thought was that I would probably never be back. Now they are declaring a 40 day boycott and I am certainly not going to go shop there for 40 days, but may stop in whenever I am back in that town just to counter the left’s boycott.
I’m not trying to support Target, per se, just do my little bit to ruin their boycott.
While there, I did not use the bathroom.

This is interesting. Yesterday I added comments about Black Rock moving away from DEI beginning just 6 days ago in an effort I assume to ingratiate themselves with Donald Trump so they can buy the Panama Canal.
Knowing that Vanguard had put an emphasis on DEI in their strongly suggested rules for company boards as to suggested criteria for companies to follow before they’d considered investment I just gave Vanguard a look and what do I find?
So it seems Vanguard well ahead of Black Rock has decided they can do with out making heavy handed suggestions to company boards on how to run their companies.
With those rules/heavy suggestions gone, companies like Target are now free to not adopt DEI BS. Still however I can no longer pronounce Target in the English mode and keep using the French accent. Thusly Target for me will remain a gay and overly expensive store. One which I’m reminded of Marcon and all the other lousy presidents they’ve had when ever I think of Target.

Some years ago I came across an article where a French researcher / chemist in the mid 2000′s had done a lot of laboratory research on the CFC/ Ozone molecule break down which is supposedly the claimed reason for the Antarctic Ozone hole.
The French researcher claimed and there may be a paper around on this but I can’t locate it, that the claimed chemical reactions between the CFC molecules and Ozone just can’t happen as not only are the extreme cold temperatures a factor but also the pressures under which the reaction supposedly occurs are too low for such CFC / Ozone reactions.
As the French researcher’s findings were quite counter to the heavily funded “Consensus” that CFC’s were solely to blame for the ozone breakdown his work was savagely denigrated and made to disappear. Many people do not realize that ALL of the claims of CFC/ Ozone breakdown interactions were from models until the now disappeared French laboratory based research, which tells us a great deal about the levels of science being used in Ozone Hole research.
Or as Proff. James Lovelock on being interviewed after Climategate said;

I have a one word description of the ozone hole theory – Bullshit.
And I might add that my 9th grade science education strongly urged me to question it when the Freon ban first started. Sure enough, it didn’t take me much research at the library to figure out that heavier-than-air Freon molecules weren’t going to congregate above the stratosphere.
My toe-in-the-water moment for beginning to believe that my govt didn’t just lie about the Vietnam War. It might actually be a pattern of behavior.
Not to mention the ‘measurements’ were taken down wind of an active volcano in Antarctica belching sulfur dioxide (SO2), hydrogen chloride (HCl) and hydrogen fluoride (HF).
Of course the real killer was the Dupont patent running out and Freon about to become dirt cheap so they had their old formula banned.

According to what I’ve seen from pgroup here, even if election fraud were proven, the fact that JB was sworn in and held the office of president would keep his actions from becoming void.
So regarding cognitive ability: on the surface, as a lay person, it seems reasonable that JB’s actions would be void if it were proved that he didn’t actually make the decisions, but I think it would be an uphill battle to prove exactly which decisions he didn’t make, who made them, and when. Not to mention proving exactly when he was cognitively capable and when he wasn’t. No doctor who has examined him has proclaimed him to be cognitively impaired. (And this is a crime of its own.) I doubt there’s any hope of voiding anything that happened during his fraudministration. But pgroup (and any others who are knowledgeable), I hope you will weigh in.

The issue can be better understood if we start with the meaning of two legal words – void and voidable.
Void means never existing and voidable means could exist but was done wrongly.
Because SlowJoe was actually president, there is nothing he did that was void. Maybe voidable but never void.
Your analysis of the uphill battle is quite good. But that is a different thing than if Biden’s orders were voidable. If someone signed his name without specific authorization, that is a crime. But as you noted, it would be virtually impossible to prove. There have been machines that use a pen to sign the president’s name for decades, and their design keeps improving. I doubt today that it is possible to tell if a signature came from that machine or from human fingers.
What we need to do is focus on what good things are possible and pursue them.
The appropriate word might be “vitiate”.

IMO, even if people came forward to say they witnessed someone else signing something for JB, I suspect it would take years to sort it all out an litigate it. By that time, whatever the issue was might have already been reversed, etc. Focusing on undoing his damage, as PDJT is doing, is the way forward. I still do not understand why a rational, thinking person would vote that way. She states why I say that – “They never did anything promised.” To me, it reveals the person’s own ignorance, stupidity, brainwashed, gullibility or corrupted mental process (among many other things). Maybe the old, “I voted for that Dem because he/she was the lesser of evils.” gets trotted out there as the excuse. How would a person voting like that even know that was the case?

I ran into a neighbor yesterday, an elderly gentleman walking his dog. We had a very brief conversation, in which he said he was “trying to adjust to the new administration.” Mind you, this person is not wanting for money and lives a comfortable life. I can only guess that he’s talking about possible fluctuations in the stock market or temporary increases in the price of goods due to changes that are being made (tariffs, etc.). His mind is on one track only, and I don’t think anything would change his point of view.

My first, a thoroughbred ex-race horse was 5 ft 6 inches at the back. I am 5 ft 4.
So if you want to mount bareback and do not have a mounting block, you jump straight up and hook an elbow over the horse’s back at the neck. You can then kick with your knees together and literally ‘climb’ up the rest of the way so your upper body is onto your horses back Then you can rotate yourself into position while getting your leg over.
This is much safer since you stay in a vertical position AND you do not risk kicking the horse in the sensitive ‘groin’ area.
With that horse I would never DARE try the swing-up method. Even when mounting using a stirrup I had to face him into a wall!

Love the detail in the opener on voting issues and requirements. The precinct strategy has been around since BIMD. As most readers here know I have been posting go local and get involved for years. I know it works, but there has to be longterm commitment, as in at least 15-20 years. Some local areas and states have done it, most have not. States that I know from my experiences and contacts that have used it successfully are FL, TN, SC, AR, AL, MS, LA and MO. There are probably more and I know of a half dozen more where it is underway.
All of the lack of long term commitment has led to what you have seen in the collapse of our election “system”. Even in a deep red state like ours in TN, they still use Dominion. Their proven corruption should have led our officials to an immediate kick to the curb after 2020. That it didn’t told me it has worked for both the Dems and GOP.
With patriots now back in control of the federal government and the cutting of the money flow into laundering operations that buy operatives, influencers, poll workers and bag men/women; they are probably moving toward PDT’s openly stated method over time assuming successful Congressional action.
When, not if, the train arrives at that station, we will be able to disembark with much more freedom and trust in the “system” than we have for many years.

He’s right, but there is a LOT of room between “limited hangout” and “full raw dump of everything”.
First off, there is stuff they can’t release. Informants, spies, highly classified stuff that Epstein got out of drunk, blackmailed, and bragging invitees – NONE of that stuff will make it past Bondi, because it CANNOT be released BY LAW. Just for starters.
Then there are the literal porno films of wrinkly famous people having sex with teenagers. Not gonna be released. They can’t even release the NAMES of the teenagers. We will be lucky to get a LIST of sex videos identified as such with ALL names redacted. Particularly if any of the people on film were contacted and became WITNESSES.
A total hangout starts limited. BY LAW. So I’m simply not joining CLUB DOOM and saying it’s all a cover-up. Unless Congress immediately passes some law that allows the Epstein materials to bypass all other laws, including all laws designed to protect witnesses and informants, then it will never happen.

Bondi has said that when redactions are made, the reasons will be given (names and other information pertaining to victims, national security, etc.). It will be interesting to see if entire classes of material will not be released for the reasons you state.

Yesterday afternoon, the New York Times raced to run a top-of-page story headlined, “Supreme Court Rejects Trump’s Bid to Freeze Foreign Aid.” This morning, it was all but missing, shrunk to a small-font trailer on the Times’ home page. They figured out that it wasn’t good news for them.
So far as I can tell, the phrase “waiting for the other shoe to drop” reportedly first appeared in a joke printed in Tacoma, Washington’s Evening News in 1902. It went something like this:
For perfectly understandable reasons, conservatives these days are overwhelmed with all the good news. It is almost too much. We can’t believe our good fortune. And one side effect of all this relentless blessing has made us nervous as sheep before a shearing. We keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. At the first sign of stormy weather, some of us are far too quick to start pointing the bony finger of blame and forecasting falling skies.
The news was that, on procedural grounds, in a brief (one page) 5-4 split decision, the Court denied President Trump’s request to stay Judge Ali’s bizarre TRO ordering the Administration to pay out $2 billion in totally wasteful (or worse) USAID money. The four justices in the minority signed a scathing seven-page dissent, which fueled even more conservative angst. Conservative commenters eagerly discarded stare decisis in favor of reams of posts analyzing Justice Coney Barret’s stares of death at Tuesday night’s presidential address.
Let’s dial down the burners of outrage and seek understanding of the decision itself. It was unsigned. It did not order Trump to pay anybody anything. Both Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Coney Barrett joined. (Which is another reason to ignore all the “Coney Barrett hates Trump” memes— remember, Chief Justice Roberts was who originally stayed the TRO that required Trump to pay the $2 billion by midnight. He joined the Majority, and nobody’s analyzing his body language. Let the libs think Coney Barrett hates Trump.)
Your first question should be, if they wanted to help, why not just grant Trump’s appeal? By issuing a conditional order rather than outright overruling the TRO, the Court wins at least two ways. First, overruling the TRO required changing the law to the Court’s detriment. TRO’s are normally considered unappealable. This rule significantly reduces the work all federal appellate courts have to do, and normally it isn’t a big deal, because TRO’s are intended to be of very limited scope and duration.
Supreme Court certioari — its agreement to hear a case — needs four Justices. In this case, fully four (4) Justices signed the barn-burning dissent that was seven times longer than the Majority opinion itself. This was a signal to Judge Ali roughly comparable to a baseball bat with the word “stop” painted on the end. The muscular Dissent signaled that, if Judge Ali strays even a little over the line, Trump will be right back in front of the Supremes, tout de suite, courtesy of the furious four.
It happened again yesterday, after a minor Supreme Court setback stirred the conservative-sphere into furious anger. Corporate media piled on, of course, and inflated the tiny scrap of good news (for them) into one of those wavy-armed marketing balloon men. But as I have counseled many times, we must learn to ignore the hot takes and await calmer waters before engaging our emotions.
Maybe. I have no idea what anti-Trump motives may lurk in Justice Coney Barrett’s mind, or whether she was just thinking about how, if her husband asks her one more time to find the spicy pickles when they were literally right there on the top shelf, that’s it, she’s getting a divorce. Same face.
Either way, it is far too soon to throw the Supreme Court baby out with the TRO bathwater. Nor should Amy give up on her marriage, either, since any replacement husband will be just as helpless when it comes to locating condiments. It’s a biological imperative.
The motion had arrived at the Supreme Court in an odd procedural posture. The DC Circuit had refused to hear the appeal, since it was an appeal from an “unappealable” short-term TRO. So one of the confusing issues was … exactly which order was on appeal to the Supremes? Judge Ali’s TRO order? Or the DC Circuit’s order refusing to hear the case? If the latter, which makes much more procedural sense, then the Supremes’ only option was to reverse the DC Circuit, uselessly bouncing the case back down so that hostile bench could performatively render an opinion that everybody knows would have upheld the TRO anyway.
I get it; we were all frustrated that the Court didn’t break the chain of command by reaching right over the lower appellate court and slapping Judge Ali’s TRO order right out of his hand, and that’s unfortunate. For its own reasons, the Court decided not to break several standing protocols. But … did it really toss President Trump under the bus and burn two billion dollars? Or did it throw Judge Ali under the bus?
The Court’s weapon is brains, not brawn. And if we stop to read the Court’s order, we find it slyly pulled Ali’s fangs, pushed him onto procedural quicksand, and invited Trump to appeal again as soon as Ali overreaches. Despite corporate media’s fondest wish, this was not a ‘whee! Trump just lost!’ moment.
It was a temporary strategic defeat teeing up a win. I’ll prove it.
The brief order included one long sentence that threw Trump several lifelines. Since, given all the conservative black-pilled hysteria over the decision, my analysis will be considered controversial, let’s carefully examine the order’s text:
Every single word has meaning. “The deadline in the challenged order has now passed” reinforced that Trump is no longer under any deadline at all. It’s gone. Judge Ali must now issue a new order setting a new deadline, all in the context of the looming March 10th date when his TRO expires four days from now. Ali’s new deadline-resetting order could be appealed again.
More significantly, Judge Ali must soon hold a full preliminary injunction hearing, providing even more opportunities for Trump to appeal— this time on the merits, such as on his argument for sovereign immunity (strongly endorsed in the Dissent), rather than appealing on much weaker procedural grounds.
Second, the Majority said “the District Court should clarify what obligations the Government must fulfill.” In other words, the Court, in effect, partially granted Trump’s appeal. The phrase suggested that Judge Ali’s original order requiring the government to pay all the contracts by midnight was simply too broad and lacked a good reason.
This places Judge Ali in a diabolical judicial minefield— his next order clarifying the original order has to provide more words, increasing the chances the inexperienced jurist will stumble on a buried appellate landmine.
The third requirement, that Ali’s next order must include “due regard for the feasibility of any compliance deadlines,” means that the Court told Judge Ali, “no more same-day deadlines.” It’s bigger than it look. Ali now must hold a hearing to allow argument over the government’s needs for time, to ensure that payments are feasible. This is all while the clock is ticking on holding the emergency preliminary injunction hearing.
If Judge Ali must have a hearing anyway, why not just go ahead and hold the preliminary injunction hearing, rather than a separate hearing to find out what should be in the next intermediate TRO order?
The bottom line is, it’s probably impossible for Judge Ali to satisfy those three reasonable-sounding conditions in the time remaining before the substantive hearing on the preliminary injunction.
Am I just seeing a glass half-full? Let’s discuss that next.
If the Court did change the non-appealability rule for President Trump, it would create precedent, it would be much more controversial, and it would create LOTS more future work for itself and for the Circuits.
Second, this way the Supreme Court scored a major political win by ruling against Trump, which shows “independence,” non-king-making, and adherence to the black-letter “rule of law.” But with a single scalpel-sharp sentence, the one-page order stripped Ali of any realistic way to revive his pay-now order—without either violating the Court’s conditions or tripping another appeal.
Here is where the Dissent’s hammer struck the Majority’s nail. We’ll now answer your second question— if the Majority order actually helped Trump without helping him, why was the Dissent so harshly written?
I’d hoped you’d ask that.
Furthermore, with the current 5-4 split, and with four already fired up, even inexperienced Judge Ali knows he has zero margin for error— he’s riding a banana peel down a razor’s edge. If he stretches at all, such as by short-shrifting any of the Majority’s three requirements, and loses a single judge — either Roberts or Coney Barrett — he’ll be a dead skunk.
To be perfectly clear: my best guess, reading this order, is that all six conservative Justices were working together, and were not, actually, at odds. If I’m right, there is no daylight between them, and they are executing flawlessly. Remember— these are very smart and very politically savvy people.
Some folks will still remain troubled by the seven pages of dissenting opinion. But there’s no cause for concern.
The almost-over-the-top Dissent was as astonishing a bit of legal dressing down as I’ve ever seen. It was so surreal that it was almost performative. It punched almost cartoonishly hard. But it also laid out a treacherous legal roadmap for Judge Ali, charting a path he’ll fear to take but cannot ignore. It would be entertaining to quote it (“I am stunned”), but this section is already running long. Maybe I’ll do a Twitter thread about the dissent if I have time.
Dissenting opinions are not just hot air. The Court can say things in dissent without risking political blowback that it would never dare to say in a majority opinion. It can say things in dissent that are really advising the lower court judge, for good or ill. We witnessed this dynamic last year, when Justice Thomas penned a scathing dissent about Special Prosecutor Smith’s lack of authority—an issue currently pending before South Florida Judge Cannon, who immediately ran with Justice Thomas’s implicit assurance that the Court had her back, and so she promptly chucked Jack Smith right into the judicial wood chipper.
A dissent might lack direct legal effect, but it wasn’t at all good for Judge Ali or his judicial career to be called out by four Justices in their Dissent (they said he “self-aggrandized” his jurisdiction). While the Dissent appeared to be talking to the Majority, it was actually talking about Judge Ali— and to him. Ali now faces four angry Justices who are ready to drop the hammer.
So, don’t engage with the hot takes. Patience, grasshopper. Don’t start yelling for the other shoe to drop. If anything, the Court just tied Judge Ali’s shoelaces together.

You are free to see these terms however you want, but I would say that most people here regard them both as irrational biases which cause people to misinterpret reality based upon those biases.
Hopium is irrational optimism, black-pill is irrational pessimism.

People here know this and do not need to have it pointed out. It has been discussed many times. You have missed a great deal by being away and it is obvious that you don’t quite have a read on the board.
I believe people were responding to the content of that particular meme without parsing it. Given the choices, it’s “corrupt politicians,” hands down.
I don’t think it is accurate to judge “likes.” (Judging what people were thinking is generally not a good idea.) As has been pointed out here before, people can “like” a post for any number of reasons: they agree with all of its content, they agree with part of its content, they “like” the title of an article, they are giving the commenter encouragement, the comment made them laugh or think, they are grateful that the subject matter has been presented, etc. I’ve seen “likes” when people were in the midst of disagreement.
Knowing this, people probably didn’t see a need to point out the obvious. They saw the meme, recognized some value in it, “liked” it, and moved on. They did not need someone to tell them that an ignorant populace is the cause of our problems.
I have a favorite old saying:

I often use “like” as a way to keep track of what I’ve read on the page, especially when reloading gets so much yellow blocking to show over things I’ve already encountered. It doesn’t necessarily mean that I Like what’s been said.

Now that I’ve seen the United Sov. Americans presentation the truth seems to be that the powerful pull strings so that evil prevails and lets the voting public take the blame. The U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland ruled that the Maryland State Board of Elections (SBE) violated federal law – the National Voter Registration Act, and unlawfully suppressed plaintiffs’ efforts to research anomalies within the state’s voter records.
Restoring Integrity and Trust in Elections (RITE) sued Maryland’s SBE in January of 2024 on behalf of two citizen activists, Kate Sullivan and David Morsberger. Ms. Sullivan and Mr. Morsberger had been researching whether the state was removing non-residents, the deceased, and duplicate registrations from the voter rolls. Upon presenting their concerns to the SBE, the SBE issued a new regulation to stop them from conducting investigations. The SBE even assessed a criminal penalty for federally protected activities such as speaking with fellow voters, and blocked access to key information such as access and use of state records on voter history. The National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRA) requires that states make voter history information available to the public.
The U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland delivered a resounding and complete victory in RITE’s favor. The court held that the SBE had violated federal law and endorsed RITE’s position that the NVRA requires that states make voter history information available to the public. This is the most direct ruling from any court in the country on that issue to date.
The State Board of Elections has now lost two federal court cases in five years for not adhering to federal law via the NVRA.
As National Committeewoman, I’ve enumerated my concerns that the SBE has been failing to properly maintain voter rolls and failing to safeguard the integrity of mail-in ballots in Maryland. But, the SBE impugned their motives when they sought to criminally punish activists who asked basic questions. This action further brought into question the SBE’s commitment to transparent and fair elections. RITE’s unequivocal federal court victory should inspire the SBE to adhere to the National Voter Registration Act in every aspect.

JUST IN: Federal Judge Denies USAID Contractors Emergency TRO to Block Trump’s Termination of Their Contracts
Judge Nichols has *denied* USAID contractors an emergency restraining order blocking the mass termination of their contracts, saying they haven’t shown the type of “irreparable” harm that warrants relief.
It’s essentially a contract dispute, he said in court this AM.

Tymoshenko was in partnership with Bill Clinton’s best friend forever, Ukrainian oligarch Viktor Pinchuk. By 1995-1997 Tymoshenko was listed as one of the richest business people in Ukraine and in 2009 she had the full backing of the United States for her Presidential run.

Tymoshenko, as leader of the Batkivschyna political party was appointed by Yanokovych as Ukraine’s Prime Minister and Tymoshenko immediately began to abuse the power of the Prime Minister’s office to undermine Yanukovych.
Tymoshenko was the Ukraine spearhead working with Victoria Nuland and the US State Department to foment and bring about the Orange Revolution and Tymoshenko intended to unseat Yanukovych by crook or by hook.
In 2011, Tymoshenko was charged by the Ukraine criminal courts for “abuse of power” and she was imprisoned by the Yanukovych administration. Much uproar by the West and the US State Department accusing Yanukovych of a “politically motivated persecution” of Tymoshenko.
Enter Paul Manafort and Skadden Arp Law Offices. According to legal documents filed during the trial of Manafort’s partner, Rick Gates, it is revealed that Manafort arranged for the Ukrainian government to hire Skadden Arps to produce a report in 2012 examining the legitimacy of the prosecution of a Yanukovych rival, former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko. Again, according to court filings, Manafort and Gates reportedly used an offshore account to “funnel $4 million to pay for the report,”
Director/Attorney Greg Craig oversaw Skadden’s review, which largely defended the prosecution and conviction of Tymoshenko, contradicting the view held by the U.S. and the European Union that the case against her was politically motivated. Human rights groups criticized the report as a white wash.
On February 24, 2014 the Orange Revolution resulted in a coup against President Yanukovych. He fled the country and immediately thereafter, Yulia Tymoshenko was released from prison in Ukraine.
Six months later, Yulia Tymoshenko is working with the US State Department.

This volume contains the proceedings of a Workshop on the Physical Basis of Electromagnetic Interactions with Biological Systems held at the University of Maryland on June 15-17, 1977. The workshop was sponsored by the Office of Naval Research, the Naval Medical Research and Development Command and the Bureau of Radiological Health, Food and Drug Administration.
The wide application of industrial, commercial and military devices and systems which radiate frequencies in the radiofrequency and microwave portion of the electromagnetic spectrum plus numerous only partially understood indications of microwave effects upon living organisms have raised important questions of the physical basis of the interactions of electromagnetic fields with biological systems. These questions must be answered if the development of regulatory standards and of methods and techniques for controlling radiofrequency and microwave exposure is to be achieved. The same questions must be answered in connection with present and proposed therapeutic applications of these waves. The rapid increase in the use of these frequencies makes these questions matters of imperative concern, particularly in view of the possibilities of cumulative or delayed effects of exposure.
The study of electromagnetic interactions with biological systems brings together diverse specialties in the fields of physics, engineering, biology and chemistry in a highly interdependent way. Progress towards practical solutions of the problems involved will depend upon the development of experimental techniques and instruments and of a sufficient general theoretical base to inform and react with the experimental investigations. The purpose of the Workshop on the Physical Basis of Electromagnetic Interactions with Biological Systems was to bring together the leading investigators in the field to present the results of recent research, to determine the present status of the field and the priority of significant problem areas, and to critically evaluate conflicting theoretical interpretations and experimental techniques. These proceedings contain the formal papers prepared by the invited speakers plus a number of contributed papers given by other participants in the Workshop. Transcriptions were made of the discussion periods following each paper and edited versions of these are included; the editors bear the responsibility for any misquotation.
