Rogue States.
Picking up from last week’s presentation, United Sovereign Americans (USA) states that they have the evidence for declaring 5 states as having “gone rogue,” as being out of compliance with the U.S. Constitution, as provably illegitimate:
18/ Illinois, New York, California, Pennsylvania and Michigan are rogue states. No one in those governments knows if their congressional representatives are legitimate. I don’t know, you don’t know, and neither do they. Not only is all of the above true, but there are many other ways in which many of the states are failed. Bankrupt. Corrupt. And worse. The levels of dissatisfaction of the people in all of the states are sky high.
Secessionists.
At this point in the conversation, it’s important to note that any discussions of states leaving the Union will need to overcome this ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court. “Texas v. White, 74 U.S. 700 (1868)” which is summarized here:
The secession of the Southern states in 1861 sparked the Civil War. The Confederacy was defeated on the battlefield rather than in the courts. However, subsequent legal issues created by attempts at independence led the courts to express an opinion on the legality of secession. In Texas v. White, a dispute over a bond sale by the Confederate States, the Supreme Court ruled in 1869 that Texas’ secession had not been legal. According to the majority opinion, entry into the Union formed “an indissoluble relation”; it was “final,” “perpetual,” and left “no place for reconsideration or revocation, except through revolution or through the consent of the States.”
As of this writing there are groups in Texas, California, Louisiana, Alaska, and New Hampshire that have as their stated goal to get their state to secede from the Union. However, it seems, without armed conflict, the only path for success involves a Constitutional amendment (which would require getting approval by two-thirds of both houses of Congress and being ratified by 38 states). This doesn’t seem very likely.
A New State.
What does the U.S. Constitution say about creating a new state? Article IV Section 3 of the United States Constitution says: “New States may be admitted by the Congress into this Union; but no new States shall be formed or erected within the Jurisdiction of any other State; nor any State be formed by the Junction of two or more States, or parts of States, without the Consent of the Legislatures of the States concerned as well as of the Congress.”
Reading this in the context of those groups wanting to form a new state from territory currently part of another state it would require: (1) consent of the old state, (2) consent of the new state, and (3) consent of Congress.
The history of the creation of West Virginia’s statehood should be instructive (ref: National Archives, WVencyclopedia.org). I’m going to try and create the “Cliff Notes” version of the difficult and contentious history of the creation of the new state of West Virginia.*
- Virginia joins confederacy, seceding from Union.
- Western part of Virginia doesn’t agree with leaving the Union, but there is no longer a legitimate old state government to get consent from.
- Western Virginia deliberates and develops a “reorganized” government of Virginia made up of representatives from non-secessionist areas in the state of Virginia (from June of 1861 to May of 1862).
- On May 13, 1862, the state legislature of the reorganized government approves the formation of the new state from the non-secessionist areas of Virginia and a government of the new state of West Virginia is formed. (This new state of West Virginia obviously “consents” to the formation of the new state.)
- An application for admission to the Union is then made to Congress. On July 14, 1862, the US Congress adopts a statehood bill for West Virginia, which includes the condition of gradually freeing all blacks under the age of 21 on July 4, 1863.
- President Lincoln signs the enabling act on December 31, 1862.
- The revised constitution for West Virginia, which meets the demand for gradual emancipation, is adopted on March 26, 1863.
- On April 20, 1863, President Lincoln issues a proclamation admitting West Virginia to the Union at the end of 60 days, on June 20, 1863.

Separatist Movements.
Time will not permit going into much detail on the various separatist movements active today (for creating new states or redrawing of state lines), but a pretty detailed article “Splitsville: separatist movements are gaining steam in blue states” written by Dave Seminara (published in “The Spectator” in January of this year) covers some of it (reprint here). Dave muddies up some of the details, but it’s still a great place to start reading. From the article:
According to Grant Dahl, co-host of the Secession Speakeasy podcast, there are separatist … movements in Oregon, Illinois, Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, New Hampshire, Louisiana, California, Washington, Minnesota, New York and Pennsylvania.
The goals aren’t the same in each place — and some movements are far more serious than others. Dozens of counties in Illinois and Oregon, for example, have already voted in favor of some form of separation from their current states.
Apparently there are also movements in Michigan and Maryland, which are not in Dahl’s list.

I was still reading and replying to yesterday’s thread, didn’t even notice the time
Post wasn’t even up for most of that hour. I guess my tendency to get my best writing done under pressure makes me the slacker. 
I will add that I had the topic and much of the outline done a week ago. I had tabs to various content open for days. So many tabs (on two computers and a tablet) that I couldn’t find certain sources when it was time to pull them in. I’m thinking that there wasn’t much “A” or “I” going on between researching sessions and my writing sessions.

Are the “flu shots” vaccines? Also, hasn’t the definition of “vaccine” been changed by the USG or CDC to include “shots” that are therapeutic but not providing full and permanent immunity? I seem to recall that the shots are not vaccines by older CDC definitions, but ARE vaccines by more modern definitions.
I remember that they had to change the definition because the death juice they were doling out didn’t meet the common definition of vaccine.
Going by memory and non-doctor understanding (I’m sure most people here know better than I do), a vaccine basically administers a weak form of the illness one desires to be inoculated against, causing the body to create antibodies specific to the illness, so that when the body encounters the full strength illness in the wild, the body is prepared to fight it.
The mRNA shots don’t do any of that, if I understand correctly.
They also changed the definitions of epidemic and pandemic… watered them down and lowered the threshholds…
& used bogus settings on PCR testing to call people sick w/ no symptoms (as well as water, applesauce, papaya, etc. has “having covid”) 
All they needed to do was make extra “passes” of the test routine… IIRC 20-25 was the maximum EVER considered to be reliable (and the creator of the test said it was not to be used for diagnostic purposes!), yet, at least over here, 35-45 passes were routinely used…

General observation. Was rather disappointed in the general reporting on the Putin response to the cease fire. Putin gave his No response last night at about this time. All day long with very few exceptions no one reported on his response. Even when he did it twice and Lavrov restated it. It’s like no one listens to what Putin and Russia have to say. They were all saying they were waiting on his response, ball in his corner, etc… or Trump was sending people to find out. Or they had to wait for Putin’s people to read all the documents from the Jeda conference. What world do these people live in?

Two years later, we’re supposed to believe Ukraine is still putting up a tough fight, they’re fighting courageously, holding back the Russian Bear.

Intel Slava used to often show new grave yards, it seemed like the numbers of those grave yards were quite large as they were in differing towns. These town grave yards grew to such an extent that little golf cart type vehicles had to be deployed to get around the grave yards as they grew in size. When you went to MSM you would not see any grave yards but a select few (like two or three tops), yet Intel Slava was showing you new grave yards almost daily. Further unless you know the name of the town, you can not find but a small group of grave yards on the internet. With the name the town you can find such. Lastly the endless flow of Mercs into the theater of battle should not be discounted.
Further the numbers of dead from the Revolution to now, 1.3 million total, vs what might or might not be happening in Ukraine might be realistic given that when I was a kid, the worlds population was closer to 3 Billion and is currently now 8 to 9 billion. The true number though is kept hidden from us and no one is trying to keep serious numbers as lots of deaths are a detractor from war…

The federal register website ( https://www.federalregister.gov/presidential-documents/executive-orders/donald-trump/2025 ) shows that the date between signing a new E.O. and the date it is published is about 5 days, but I don’t know why it would take 5 days for the WH website to publish it.
Also did not run across that story either other than Pamala Geller as reported front and center on Liberty Daily.
Just did a search using Liberty Daily Headline and am only getting.. “what can judges do if Trump ignores their orders” stuff. Plus the Pam Gellar piece repeated in different places, but no independent report on that.

I looked over some of those strories about what the judges can do if Trump ignores them. Seems appeal is all. So maybe Trump doesn’t need this executive order thing and Gellar is trying to gaslight the judges?

I do think that at least a few of Trump’s Executive Orders don’t do much more that state plainly things that are already in place. More of a backstop than an introduction of something new.

Additionally, the office of the president personally informs the ODNI (Gabbard) of the executives’ request to invite for the briefing each member of the legislative branch Intelligence Community oversight known as the Gang-of-Eight.
Immediately after the briefing by the executive level (cabinet) department officials, while remaining in a closed and classified session, the full and comprehensive content of this collective intelligence product will be discussed with the full assembly of the U.S. Legislative Branch Intelligence Oversight known as the Gang of Eight.
Therefore, National Security Advisor Mike Waltz is instructed to coordinate with the ODNI (Gabbard) for the attendance of the Gang of Eight: Speaker Mike Johnson, Minority leader Hakeem Jeffries, HPSCI Chairman Rick Crawford, HPSCI Ranking Member Jim Himes, Senate Majority Leader John Thune, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, SSCI Chairman Tom Cotton and SSCI Vice-Chair Mark Warner. In order to facilitate the briefing. Each member of the participating group will be provided with one full printed copy of the material assembled by the ODNI during the briefing.

The President, no-one else, only the President, [with his affirmed constitutional power and protection – as acting within his official duty] then collects the printed portfolios [or boxes] as they were distributed to the participants, exits the briefing, and walks directly into the James Brady press briefing room within the White House; handing each of the awaiting twelve members of the national media a copy of the briefing material to be published on behalf of the American people.
At exactly the same time as President Trump enters the briefing room, one copy of the assembled portfolio is hand delivered, by President Trump only, to White House communications director with instructions to scan and release the content to the public through the White House website.

Yours Truly is in the process of looking through the Health Friday post scheduled for tomorrow to make sure there isn’t any AI-generated stuff in it. I don’t think there is. The screenshots of images from scientific papers and the screenshots of text from the scientific papers appear to be genuine and from the authors of said papers. My opinions and conclusions are my own, based on my research and from my reading of these papers.
Images will almost never be a concern. It’s going to be either stuff where WE ask Grok or ChatGPT for a summary answer, or where a search engine like Brave or DuckDuckGo provides an AI summary about some topic or question that we typed into the browser.
The big thing is “AI argumentation”. If people use AI to respond to a question, or to argue with somebody else, then document it like a scientific paper. “I typed in this to Bozo AI, this long response is what Bozo AI said, and here is a permanent postable link to the question, provided by Bozo AI.”
AI summaries are more insidious – they’re everywhere now – and I do not appreciate having to monitor for and then label that shit, just like fake news, psy-op crap, and other garbage on the internet. ANYTHING that the commenter can post to make my life easier, and to prevent crap from spreading, is welcome – and that includes letting me know that some AI created something they posted. If the source says it’s AI, and you read that it’s from AI, it is your duty to report that, and even better with a link to the source.

Been pondering these problems with the AIs, LLM (Large Language Models) myself.
Back in the early 1980s sometime, there was an article about producing random text in, I think it might have been Scientific American. Basically given some text, figure out the probability of each sequence of letters (space was also considered a letter) in it, then use that with a random-number generator to produce nonsense. Now just using simple letter frequency wouldn’t work but consider a few of the previous letters found, and select one of the more likely ones following them. So if considering 4 letters, then two- and three-letter words would mostly make it through, since a sequence such as space-t-h would quite likely have an e following.
I made a program working like that and played with it.
Turned out, 3- or 4-letter considerations made stuff that looked like, but wasn’t really the same as the input language. And feeding texts in different languages to this made the output seem to be in that language as well. With 4-letter grouping all the short words of 3 or fewer letters make it through, which helps a lot. Kinda interesting to play with, but boring after a while. There is only so much use for artificial nonsense, after all.
Now these LLMs to most extents work similar to this: given real input, produce reasonable-looking but artificial output. Refinements and computing power rather more substantial than the 8088-based kit readily available in the 1980s, have made the output look a lot more real and readable.
There is already some known cases of satire news showing up as confounders. For a recent example, there is that story about an EO ignoring the lower courts, with no «sauce» to it. These reduce the signal-to-noise ratio of the discussion. All the artificial stuff, which is now so plausible-looking yet likely wrong will be more noise. In particular when it has not labeled as artificial.
So banning that, as it is like unwanted chaff, is useful.
Attorneys who were rubber-stamping AI produced legal memos have already been busted. The source cites in the docs were bullshit – AI made them up. A judge smelled a rat and checked. A ton of bricks fell on the attorney.
As a guy who has composed legal memos/docs for a living, I laughed so hard.

I read today that riding bicycle helps with balance as we age also strengthen the back.
I was thinking of you and hubby. I have a stationary recumbent bike. This really helps me with my bad knee. They are not cheep but maybe you can find a used one. Mine is a “LiveStrong” bike. They are very heavy and has a computer screen.
The last time I rode my recumbent Trike, I had a dissection of my aorta. Have been unable to exercise since that time.

Oh, and this will maybe sound awkward, but it works good for my SI joints. I drape myself face-down over a underinflated exercise ball with my midsection at the top. Then I slowly breath into my lower abdomen which gently creates pressure, opening up the lower spine and SI joints. Since I’ve been doing that (I just do the reset’s 2 min of deep belly breathing in that position) my hips don’t give me nearly as much trouble.

I needed to order grass seed last night. So I Grok’d the square footage of the yard by giving Gork my address. Seemed to work well enough, though it did not do the drive way and flower beds, meaning it did not analyze any ariel images be they picture or diagram. I might of been able to press Grok on that issue, but was good with it’s ball park answer.
