This post describes the memoir statement of Jennifer Sey, who lost her job, her friends, family ties, and more, because she refused to bow to the demands of the organized psy-op that was the “command and control method” used over literally billions of human beings during the COVID-19 pandemic — and which organized psy-op is still being used today. Readers are welcome to post their own COVID-19 memoirs on today’s discussion thread, leaving out or referring to in an “oblique” manner, those details they wish to keep private.
Others on the board here have shared their COVID-19 Memoirs. Some of these postings have detailed dealing with an infection of the COVID-19 virus itself. Other postings have described the experiences of watching “vaccinated” family or friends becoming ill from the negative effects of the “vaccines” that they had taken. Still others have described their own issues after being “shed upon” by COVID-19 “vaccinated” persons. Sadly, our own Deplorable Patriot (Susie Sampson) passed away from the combined effects of the COVID-19 infection she very likely caught in November 2024 from a recently COVID-19-“boosted” choir member.
Yours Truly now adds her own COVID-19 Memoir. It began in December 2019, with the first media reports of a “mystery illness” that was infecting and killing people in Communist China, which “mystery illness” then making its way to the United States. This “illness” was variously called “Wuhan coronavirus”, “coronavirus”, or “novel coronavirus” (among other names), finally settling on the name “COVID-19” or “SARS-CoV-2” in early 2020. The issue became more “personal” in mid-February 2020, when Yours Truly contracted an illness that had all the hallmarks of an infection by the COVID-19 virus itself, most likely via exposure either at a restaurant in Chapel Hill, or at a local discount store in Durham. One was very sick for almost a month, subsisting on hot tea with honey and lemon, vitamins, scrambled eggs and toast, Tylenol(R), DayQuil(R), and guaifenesin cough syrup; after that, it was another month before the fatigue began to lift, the coughing to lessen and stop, and taste and smell to fully return. I was literally sequestered to my house for over six weeks. At the same time that I was sick, I was also taking care of my little Yorkie, Sona, who was entering the end stage of the kidney disease that resulted in his being put to sleep in my arms in mid-August of 2020.
It was during this period that I began to research about, read about, think about, and to eventually write about, this virus. My first decision was that I would never permit the deep-nasal probe PCR “test” to be administered to me. I began to order in groceries; to wear disposable gloves whenever I had to leave the house to do absolutely necessary things like getting gasoline for the car; to change clothes and bathe after I returned from being out of the house; and so on. Amazon became my source for many items. The United States went into “lockdown” on almost all aspects of the economy, and of life in general, by mid-March of 2020. The fear was palpable.
By the summer of 2020, there was speculation regarding the development and use of COVID-19 “vaccines.” There was speculation regarding the development and use of monoclonal antibody therapy for COVID-19 virus infected persons. Persons hospitalized for COVID-19 infection were being put on Remdesivir and ventilators, killing many. Antigen tests to determine whether or not a person had been infected with the COVID-19 virus were being used by September 2020. Then, the Pfizer-BioNTech and the Moderna modRNA COVID-19 “vaccines” were granted their initial Emergency Use Authorizations for use in the United States on 11 December 2020. Starting in January 2021, all of the members of my family, with the exception of Yours Truly, were getting COVID-19 “vaccinated”; in many cases, this was “mandated” or “required” in order for them to keep their jobs, for travel, and so on. In the spring of 2021, I began to shift much of my focus to researching about the COVID-19 “vaccines” — and came to the conclusion that a “vaccine” that had been developed and put on the market as quickly as these products were, was likely not a good thing. I made a decision to never allow myself to be COVID-19 “vaccinated.” This was the beginning of strained relationships with “vaccinated” family and friends, once Yours Truly informed them that these “vaccines” were not for her. I contacted a physician through AFLDS (America’s Frontline Doctors), and started taking prescribed Hydroxychloroquine and Zinc. Afterwards, I contacted the then-FLCCC Alliance (now the Independent Medical Alliance) and began taking prescribed Ivermectin. Yours Truly is still not COVID-19 “vaccinated.”
It is now, in March 2025, five years from the first COVID-19 “lockdowns.” Yours Truly lost a cousin in September 2023 due to the negative effects of the COVID-19 “vaccines” he had taken. Yours Truly lost her brother in October 2024 due to the negative effects of the COVID-19 “vaccines” he had taken. Yours Truly is now concerned about the other “vaccinated” members of her family. She had tried to warn some of them, based on my research, of the dangers and uncertainties of these bioweapon toxin injections, but was met with “We follow the science” or “I trust my doctor.” I hope the ongoing strained relationships between certain “vaccinated” family members and Yours Truly will heal. I have made certain decisions regarding how I interact with people and situations outside the family circle when encountering them in public places.
Life as it was before November 2019 will never be the same. COVID-19 is the perfect example of an “equal-opportunity” bioweapon. The COVID-19 virus itself, if a person is infected with it, can have lingering, or even permanent, issues that remain after the person recovers. The COVID-19 “vaccines”, since they contain the virus, plus “enhancements” such as N1-Methylpseudouridine, permanently and negatively affect “vaccinated” persons throughout the body, including the brain. “Long COVID”, resulting either from an infection of the COVID-19 virus itself, or from being COVID-19 “vaccinated”, is now recognized medical condition. There is also the emerging issue of COVID-19 “vaccine shedding” from “vaccinated” persons onto other persons, including onto the non-“vaccinated.”
Those adults who are not COVID-19 “vaccinated” (the percentage of people in this category is anywhere between 15% – 25% of the entire population of the Earth) have, in a sense, “defeated COVID-19” — even if they contracted an infection of the virus and recovered. This has nothing to do with the “Joe X is not COVID-19 “vaccinated”, so he is a pureblood” depiction; or with the “Joe X is not COVID-19 “vaccinated”, so he is somehow morally superior to those who are “vaccinated”” allegation — this has everything to do with personal decision making. Those adults who are not COVID-19 “vaccinated” have resisted the gaslighting, the “mandates” and the “recommendations” to get COVID-19 “vaccinated”; the urging from “vaccinated” family and friends; the loss of employment, of schooling, of opportunities, of relationships. They have grieved and mourned for “vaccinated” family members and/or friends who have passed away from the negative effects of the COVID-19 “vaccines” that they had taken. They have, in many instances, done their own research into the “vaccines” and vowed never to take them. They have, in many instances, decided to never allow their children to be COVID-19 “vaccinated.” They have learned that “safe and effective”, as applied to these bioweapon toxin injections, was — and is — a lie. They are stronger than they knew. They are stronger than they know. They will need this strength in the future.

Yours Truly believes that, in order for society to heal from the COVID-19 disaster, to have trust in the medical profession, to have trust in the government, the perpetrators of the COVID-19 disaster must be brought to justice; and that the unsafe, ineffective, dangerous and deadly COVID-19 “vaccines” must be withdrawn from the market worldwide. The “establishment medicine” entities (the American Medical Association; the American Academy of Pediatrics; the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists; and many more); the government agencies (the CDC; the FDA; the Department of Health and Human Services; and many more) — who are still “recommending” these injectables, who still have them on the Immunization Schedules — must stop these activities. All mRNA-based “vaccine” funding and development must be stopped until the entire issue of the safety and efficiency of these injectables is thoroughly investigated and analyzed. Medical freedom of choice must be returned to the general public — for example, Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine must be made readily available at a low cost. Hospitalized COVID-19 patients must be allowed freedom of choice to be treated inpatient with Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine, Vitamin D, and other effective treatments that are, even now, being denied because the FDA does not “authorize” or “approve” them.
There are many persons who must be held accountable for their actions during the entire COVID-19 disaster. Among them: The first person, in Yours Truly’s opinion, who must be held accountable for his actions during the entire COVID-19 disaster is Dr. Anthony Fauci. Thank you for that well-written account, Pavaca! That was a nightmarish time that we had to escape from. I had some experience during the COVID lockdown time with a loved one in a care facility. We’ve all heard the stories about people having to visit their loved ones literally from the outside, looking in through a window. When the patient was sight- or hearing-impaired or very elderly, it became impossible to communicate. Then there were the issues of not being able to see for oneself what kind of care the person was receiving. I think hospitals and facilities would prefer it to be that way; no oversight makes their job easier.
There is a lot more that I choose not to write about. This can never happen again, and those responsible should pay. I will never forget.

If a person even votes for a Dem/RINO, he/she are no different than their leaders and influencers since they have no moral code and prefer death and destruction over life and liberty for all. Their votes say all you need to know. I have my own litmus test for that. I advise other patriots to do likewise. There are absolute lines that should never be crossed. The Dem/RINO uniparty machine and their voters crossed that line of mine decades ago. They continue to be the Tories (loyalists), most without even realizing that is what they are doing.
Which is sad to me. They disconnect their personal moral codes from their votes.

Everything you’ve been told is a lie—especially when it comes to polio. Dr. Suzanne Humphries reveals what really made all those polio cases disappear after the vaccine was introduced.
Dr. Suzanne Humphries, former board-certified nephrologist and co-author of Dissolving Illusions: Disease, Vaccines, and the Forgotten History, just made a bombshell appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience — and what she shared will completely change how you think about vaccines.
Most people are told vaccines are “safe and effective” with no real downside. But Dr. Humphries pulled back the curtain on decades of deception, starting with a major turning point in 1986 — when President Reagan signed the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act into law.
Before that, vaccine manufacturers were getting hammered with lawsuits. Humphries explained that after the 1976 swine flu vaccine disaster, Guillain-Barré cases were piling up. It got so bad that the companies couldn’t even get insurance.
They ran to the government and basically said: “Bail us out, or we’re done making vaccines.” So the government stepped in. First, it agreed to cover the lawsuits. Then came the 1986 law—sold to the public as a way to help injured families get compensation faster, but in reality, it became a kangaroo court system that rarely paid families deserving of vaccine injury claims.
Companies like Wyeth (now Pfizer) admitted their vaccines were “unavoidably unsafe,” yet instead of making them safer, they were handed blanket immunity.”

I see nothing in your comment about polio cases. Is she saying that polio vaccines were causing injuries? That was NOT my lived experience at 9-10 years old, especially with Salk’s vaccine [made with dead viruses]. Later the school administered the Sabin vaccine which at the time I protested to my teachers that it made no sense to give us kids the Sabin if they already had the Salk.
They didn’t listen.

“When the conversation turned to polio, Dr. Humphries blew just about everyone’s mind on the internet. She challenged one of the most sacred beliefs in modern medicine: that vaccines eradicated polio.
The truth is that polio wasn’t actually eradicated. “Polio is still here. Polio is still alive and well,” Dr. Humphries declared. It’s just that a few sleights of hand made the world believe otherwise.
The real change that happened, according to Humphries, wasn’t the vaccine’s impact—it was the definition.
“Polio is called different things today,” Humphries explained. “Whereas back in the 1940s, 1950s, the criteria for diagnosing polio were completely different to the year that the vaccine was introduced.
The playing field, the goalposts—everything was changed… they were able to show a complete cascading drop of paralytic polio simply because of the way they changed the definitions of what polio is and what could cause it.”
After the vaccine rollout, cases that would’ve been diagnosed as polio were now labeled as Guillain-Barré syndrome, coxsackievirus, echovirus, or chalked up to lead or mercury poisoning.
She also pointed to another key factor: environmental toxins. The rise in polio diagnoses, she said, mirrored the use of toxic chemicals like DDT.
As use of neurotoxic pesticides like DDT, arsenic, and lead declined, so did toxic exposures that mimicked polio symptoms. Fewer kids were bathing in poisons that caused spinal nerve damage, so naturally, paralysis decreased.
“The tonnage of production of DDT absolutely mirrored the diagnosis for polio,” Dr. Humphries explained. Even today, she added, “The countries that still make DDT… are where we’re still seeing this paralytic polio situation happen.”
And when it comes to the poliovirus itself? It’s not quite as harmful as people think. Humphries explained that polio is actually a “commensal”—a virus that lives in most people without causing harm.
“95 to 99% of all polio is asymptomatic.” Dr. Humphries described a study of the Javante Indians, where “98 to 99% of every person they tested… had evidence of immunity to all three strains of polio,” yet none of the children were crippled. “They were like, ‘We don’t have any of that problem,’” she recalled.
Dr. Humphries also cited a chilling story in history. In 1916, a Rockefeller lab in Manhattan set out with “the specific stated goal… to try to create the most pathological, neuropathological strain of polio possible.” Researchers injected monkey brains and human spinal fluid into monkeys.
And that experimentation came with devastating consequences. “There was a big problem with that, which was [polio] released into the public by accident,” Dr. Humphries explained. “And the world experienced the worst polio epidemic on record. 25% mortality.”
In short, Humphries argued that polio didn’t vanish because of vaccines. It disappeared under a mountain of redefinitions, environmental triggers, manmade disasters, and a lot of propaganda.

Some of what she says could be true. But some is ‘Rachel Carson’ bullshit.
DDT is not equal to arsenic and lead, toxicity-wise. Thanks to the ban, millions of black Africans die of malaria from the mosquitos not killed by DDT. I’m not saying DDT is harmless but I am saying its benefits outweigh any risks.

I don’t see a vision. I only see anti-Trump talking points that aren’t true. Repubs need to get their message out, loud and clear.
The problem with the idea of ‘thousands of people’ turning up at ‘democrat rallies’ is that they are never genuine.
They are always, always, always astroturf.
Democrats don’t show up at a rally unless they’re getting paid.
It’s way beyond custom or tradition at this point. Everything about the Left is fake, for optics, for propaganda purposes.
It’s not dishonest from their viewpoint, it’s just what they do.
They wouldn’t even know how to do it any other way.
Because, as noted above, they rationalize their lack of ethics.

When we growing up there were stories about subliminal subduction, with messages being inserted into TV ads and music and such.
Where has all that gone? You never hear about it any more but the stories were told showing the truths behind it. No one doubted it could be done and legislation was passed to out law the practice. That was all happening in the late 70’s.
I think were foolish to think it’s not been revived in some new form with new tech behind it and when I used to look at the the many start ups that the Billionare Brain Surgeon Doctor who owns the San Diego Tribune and now the LA Times had before he bought both those papers it seems the tech he was dabbling into could easily be the genesis of some sort of new mind control tricks that have plunged collage campus’s over the edge causing them to all loosing their freaking minds.
I’m not saying he’s behind such, but more likely he’s quietly made such tech available to people in the Sorass crowd. Oh wait… tin foil hat is squeezing my head now

CRITICAL ELECTION CASE RESULTS:
In 2021 Washington County (Oregon’s second largest county) gave Tim Sippel the entire vote tabulator database by accident. It was 8 TB worth of data. When the State found out, it sued Mr. Sippel to prevent the sharing of the data and demanded that it be returned.
The question of the case became: Who does Oregon’s election data belong to, the State or the People? The State argued (for the security of our elections, of course) that the data belongs to the State and that the State should decide what election data is provided to the public, if any.
We won the right to analyze the data in preparation for the first hearing in Washington County. That analysis discovered two things:
1) That each tabulator broadcasts its own Wi-Fi signal.
2) that in each-and-every-one of Washington County’s 126 precincts, Democrats had the same turnout of 86% and, in each-and-every precinct, Republicans had the same turnout of 82%.
IN EACH AND EVERY PRECINCT!!! That wouldn’t happen twice, much less 252 times in one election (2020 General Election).
That corrupt judge in Washington County concluded that the data belonged to the State and compelled Sippel to return the data. Sippel appealed the ruling.
Then, the corrupt Oregon Court of Appeals determined that “data” is actually “software” and therefore not subject to FOIA and, again, preventing the public from seeing election result data.
And now, the corrupt Oregon Supreme Court decided this case, asking the most important question in the name of democracy, didn’t deserve review.
If there was ever was a case that deserved appeal, it was this one. This goes to show just how far our corrupt judicial system will go to protect the corrupt regime that controls Oregon.
We are not self-governed if we cannot confirm the legitimacy of our own elections.

If they actually go through with severing ties, economically and militarily, then clearly their gambit is that America will be forced to defend Canada, because if Canada is invaded by chyna (for example), that is a threat to America, and America would have to repel the invasion out of self interest.
And they’re right about that.
But if America is forced to defend Canada against foreign invasion — because Canada can’t — then if that happens, once America has repelled the invaders, America becomes Canada’s new owner.
Because a nation that cannot defend itself is not a sovereign nation, by definition.
And if Canada can’t defend itself against a foreign invader that America defeats for them, then Canada is in no position to refuse America’s legitimate demand for compensation for saving Canada.
And since the only compensation that matters is to never put America in a position of having to defend them for free ever again, the only way Canada can make compensation is by becoming the 51st state, on probation, with no voting rights for the next 100 years or so.
In that scenario, they are a defeated People who only speak Canuckian because America saved them from speaking the language of whoever invaded them.

The law states clearly that the predicates for invoking the Act include “any invasion or predatory incursion attempted … by any foreign nation or government,” and that “the President shall make public declaration of the event.” Are those conditions met?
The President issued the required declaration, on March 15th. But does the situation meet the other criteria? Is the criminal gang activity of Tren de Aragua “perpetrated, attempted, or threatened by a foreign nation or government?”
An extraordinary article last week by Miami Herald investigative reporter Antonio Maria Delgado provides clear answers. Delgado interviewed a team of high-level investigators and analysts who have been following the Venezuelan regime for over ten years.
The only team member to speak on the record is Gary Berntsen, among the most highly decorated CIA veterans in recent history. I spoke with Berntsen after the article was published. He confirmed that Tren de Aragua was purposely sent to the United States to destabilize our country.
Berntsen said, “The Venezuelan regime has assumed operational control of TdA and has trained 300 of them; they have given them paramilitary training, training them to fire weapons, how to conduct sabotage, in a four- to six-week course. Then they deployed them into the United States to 20 separate states.”
“Remember, sabotage includes arson,” he said. “Many of these wildfires, industrial fires, the Los Angeles fires taking advantage of wind and the local conditions, were started by arsonists. How many of them were paid or coerced by TdA or their surrogates?”
Berntsen is coming forward now because two CIA officials leaked false intelligence to the New York Times recently, claiming the Agency has no intelligence connecting TdA with the Venezuelan government. But Berntsen showed me proof of the close relationships among Tren de Aragua, the Venezuelan military and intelligence apparatus, Cuban intelligence, and the worst of the Latin American narcoterrorists. He has shared not only the intelligence, but the sources, with elements of the U.S. government.
“The CIA doesn’t have the information because they refused to look at it,” Berntsen said. “We tried to brief them about this three years ago, but they were directed by the Biden Administration to ignore it. And now those officials are trying to undermine President Trump.”

Secretary of State Marco Rubio was asked on Thursday to explain why a Tufts student from Turkey had her visa revoked and is now slated for deportation. His answer could not have been more perfect.
Rubio calmly explained to the assembled journalists that coming to the United States to study at a college or university is a privilege and not a right, and that if people come here to destroy, harass, and take over college buildings, they will be sent packing. He uses the analogy of inviting someone into your home. If a guest began vandalizing and destroying your home, you would eject that person.

I think the new bell Mostly gives expected behaviors, like it recognizes stuff quicker than the old bell (bypassing the “langley” leftards perhaps). It seems to drop off the “read” comments at some point, maybe after 24 hours or so.

Driving back to the house last night I passed one of our fence posts with a YUGE swarm of honey bees. I was so happy to see that many honey bees. I guess they like our place.
we can hear them in the woods behind the house.
and when we first moved here, the log home company was delivering the logs and stuff. they had a crane for taking the bundles off the trailers. we have to drive thru a small creek to get to the foundation but the bundles were off loaded on the road by the creek. We were watching them when suddenly a swarm of bees appeared and landed on a tree close to the crane. The driver saw the swarm and stopped immediately. he told us a hive must have split and this was a new colony (with the old queen). We watched for about 10 minutes till the whole swarm took off into the woods.

That is why I was so happy to see the swarm. I just hope they do not decide to use that fence post as a new home. We have PLENTY of old trees they can use. instead.

Should Americans have voter IDs in order to vote? Of course.
They should also have Social Security Numbers – and they do – and the anomalous data in the Social Security System runs into the tens of millions of numbers.
Will voter IDs seriously impact election fraud? They will not.
Here’s why, and we are the only ones who not only tell you this, we have the data in dozens of states to prove it.
Samantha is 36. She has a voter ID. She votes from 398 Hilton Avenue – she votes absentee, and she voted from this location for 28 years. That address is a college frat house. No chick lives at a frat house for 28 years.
Willie is 89. He lives at 290 Water Street. He votes absentee – which means mail-in ballot. He has a voter ID with his happy, smiling face on it. We bring in the property tax records showing us Willie’s address is an empty strip mall, with a shuttered JC Penny, where Willie is supposed to live. No bedrooms there.
Then there’s Cameron. She has a voter ID and lives at 1800 Tremont Avenue, Building 17. She votes absentee every year – has for 20 years. Her votes are always mail-in ballots. Cameron did not put her apartment number on her voter registration – so the mail-in ballot never gets to her. Cameron’s mail-in ballot is left in a pile in the mail room for this 800 unit apartment complex because it is undeliverable without an apartment number. A runner – a junkie paid by an NGO – picks up the mail-in ballots from this Madison Wisconsin location as they arrive – always in the same 3-4 day timeframe – and is paid $40 per ballot. Those ballots are brought to a local Baptist church, filled out by NGO volunteers and voted.

The solution to election fraud – the one that stops the 90% of it – is either limit mail-in ballots only to emergency situations OR cross check every outgoing mail-in ballot request, against multiple other databases, so they are not going to ineligible – but real – locations, collected by NGOs and voted.
Sure everyone should have a voter ID – our argument – backed by the world’s largest database of American voter histories – 2.7 billion records – is that voter ID does not come close to solving the problem of stolen elections.
Voter IDs create the false promise of impacting – in a big way – the mail-in ballot fraud issue and they don’t come close.

How does America solve the problem of ineligible locations casting ballots?
The solution is reconciliation. Not the kind for people getting divorced – the kind used in financial fraud analysis.

We saw a restaurant we formerly loved had gone out of business at the beach as well. The last time we went the year before we were met by trans host as we walked in the door to go with the homosexual bartender and lesbian server. This was at a farm to table nice family restaurant if you can believe it.
A few months later they closed. Average Americans are simply not going to put up with it.

Whereas ‘district courts issued 14 universal injunctions against the federal government through the first three years of President Biden’s term,’ they issued ’15 universal injunctions (or temporary restraining orders) against the current Administration in February 2025 alone.’”
This puts the issue squarely in the hands of the Supreme Court.

The administration knows the names of the cartel members they’re after, so give them all surnames of ‘Boasberg’ plus an ascending number, like Juan Cartilla-Boasberg1, Hector Gonzalez-Boasberg2, etc.
Every time one of these cartel members is apprehended, make sure to call him by his ‘Boasberg’ name, and then charge Boasberg as an accomplice to whatever crime he committed.
If he raped or murdered someone, he was only in the country and able to do it with the active aid, comfort and facilitation by Boasberg, so charge Boasberg as an accomplice and give him his day in court.
Charge him in the jurisdiction where the crime happened. Like Texas for example, and extradite him to Texas for trial.
Do the same to any other judge who wants to play games with the safety of the American People.
Start holding rogue judges accountable to the Law.

I don’t see how SCOTUS can rule completely in favor of a district court judge over the POTUS, but I’m wondering what kind of “compromise” ruling they could come up with that would still tie the hands of the president.
They can do whatever they want, because they are rogue, there is no rule of Law.

What we have been in since the openly stolen election of 2020 is a state of internal war.

A report from the Office of Congressional Conduct found that Rep. Cory Mills (R-Florida) may have held weapons contracts with the federal government while in office.
Mills “may have omitted or misrepresented required information in his financial disclosure statements.” the report said. “If Rep. Mills failed to disclose or misrepresented required information in his financial disclosure statements, then he may have violated House rules, standards of conducts, and federal law.”
The report said Mills’s campaign committee may have also accepted in-kind contributions “not extended in the ordinary course of business,” as well as a contribution that “was not lawfully made pursuant to the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971.” The House Ethics Committee said Thursday that it will consider the investigations and make its own determination on Mills’s conduct.
In a statement, Mills’s office said that the congressman “is committed to complying with all laws and ethics rules and is pleased that the Federal Election Commission recently dismissed a complaint with similar allegations.” “We trust the House Ethics Committee will come to a similar conclusion,” the statement said.

Salt water pools have a variety of therapeutic health benefits, some factual. In addition, they don’t grow as much organic gunk on their sides as freshwater — decreasing necessary maintenance.
Another upside is that people float higher in salt-water.
On the other hand, if it leaks, apparently it destroys the critical support structures of the whole building.
That seems bad…
Not that floating a little higher in the water isn’t a big draw, or that cleaning the pool isn’t a hassle, but this could be a situation where the pros — impressive though they be — may not outweigh the cons

Yes! That’s what I meant. I never see that, because I tend to dismiss the whole notification pop-up between times when I look at it, resolve notifications, and then make it go away.
But if I left the notification pop-up up, I would not see any new content until I had essentially closed the unread tab by clicking on the read tab, then clicked back to reveal the new content in the unread tab.
If they’re the ones throwing paint on priceless paintings and gluing themselves to pavement, I hope that stops too.
